Apple Eden and Sparkles are at the river bank close to the village. Eden has to explain to Sparkles everything about what has been going on. And who she really is.
Sparkles is shocked, but calmly says, "I see, so you've been pretending to be our queen so you can help us."
"Yes. I'm sorry for not saying anything sooner, but I'd figured it's the only way to buy enough time until the queen returns," Eden sadly admits.
"I do admit, I am shocked, but in a way… kind of admired that you wanted to help and were able to show display of kindness towards us," Sparkles replies.
She giggles and says, "I must admit, you surely have us fooled."
"Yes, but I know that I can't stay. I was only trying to help," Eden replies.
Sparkles nods her head, and says, "Yes, but what about the coronation tonight. If our queen doesn't return by then, you will be crowned instead of her. You will end up staying herto rule us."
"Oh my, you're right, All I'm trying to do is protect the ponies here. But my kind of display of kindness may cost the young queen's chance to reclaim her throne, and I'll be crowned instead," Eden says feeling ashamed of what her kindness may have caused.
She theng gasps and says, "Time is running out, and… I don't know what to do."
"It's okay Eden, I know you didn't mean to do any harm. You… you also saved me when I was attacked by those wolves," Sparkles replies.
"Well, I did what I had to do," Eden replies.
"Yes. You were able to be firm with those wolf, and that is the only way they'll listen to you, so certainly you can be firm with the ponies and tell them the truth," Sparkles says.
Eden blushes and says, "I guess, and they wouldn't listen to me any other way."
Just as Eden stares at the scepter, she sees a bright pink shine coming from it. Her eyes widen and hers are doing the exact same thing. Seeing this, Eden realizes that needs to be done in order to help the ponies of Marathor.
She turns to Sparkles, and says in a serious tone, "We need to go now!"
Sparkles nods her head agreeing to the idea. Eden and Sparkles run back to the castle o that the truth can be known to everyone in the village. They also hope they can get to the palace before it's too late. But as they are running back, they are unaware that Lefty Shield and some of his guards are spying on them from the bushes.
As the two ponies are running back, they see Sakura and the boys running towards them.
Eden happily says, "Hello guys, what brings you here?"
"Listen, your majesty, we need to talk to you about something very important," Ace says.
Eden giggles and says, "You can tell me along with Sparkles, and I told her everything."
"Really!" the three ask in shock.
"Yes, and I'm here to help whether I can for Eden and the kingdom," Sparkles says.
Sakura smiles, and says, "Good because we got some good news and bad news."
"The good news is that Ruby, Raspberry, and our parents found the queen, and her name is Gold Robin," Baked Apple adds.
Sparkles and Eden smiles after hearing it.
Eden happily says, "Oh that's wonderful."
"And… what's the bad news?" Sparkles asks in concern.
"The bad news is that Dark Quill was a part of this. He helped Lefty Shield in taking over the kingdom,"Ace answers, sounding upset.
Eden and Sparkles gasp after hearing it, but for some reason, Sparkles is even more shocked.
Sparkles stuttery says, "That-that's impossible! I… I never thought my brother could do this or be a part of this!"
"Your brother?" Eden questionably asks.
Sparkles nods her head feeling ashamed and explains, "Yes. Dark Quill is my older brother. I know my brother can be serious and a bit controlling, but… I can't imagine him betraying our fellow ponies like this."
Sakura and the others feeling a bit sorry for Sparkles. Knowing that Sparkles' own brother would cause harm to the citizen of Marathor. Baked Apple can tell that she is telling the truth, and has no clue that her brother is a part of it.
Eden reassure Sparkles, and says, "It's okay, you didn't know that your brother was involved with Lefty Shield's plan."
"She's right, it's not your fault that Lefty Shield or Dark Quill abused their power to overthrow Queen Gold Robin," Ace says.
Then Sakura says, "But maybe you can help us stop them before the coronation tonight."
"Or spend some time in the dungeon!" A loud stallion's voice shouts.
The others gasp and turn to see a blue unicorn stallion and his soldiers.
Sparkles gasps in fear, and exclaims, "Lefty Shield!"
"So this the jerk who is cased of all this," Ace says with furry in his eyes.
"Correct. It's too bad to hear that ended up with the wrong mare, but she doe has the queen's resemblance," Lefty Shield remarks.
Eden begins to shake in fear and remembers this is the stallion who abducted her.
Sakura angrily shouts, "You leave Eden alone!"
"Or what? You use your weird paws on me!" Lefty Shield insults Sakura.
Lefty Shield and his stallion begin laughing at Sakura. Sakura glares at them, and not amused that she is being made fun of like that.
Sakura sternly says, "First off, they're called hands, not paws. Second, I'm not going to allow you to hut my friends. And three…"
Sakura then brings out a sword from behind her back ad pointing in front of her opponent, and says, "When I'm finished with you and your guards, you're going to wish you have some."
Lefty Shield chuckles evilly, the brings out his own sword, and says, "Well, it looks like I'll be doing a little sparring before taking you brats."
Sakura turns to her friends, "You guy try to get to the castle and send a message to Spike and the others to come here immediately."
"Right," The friends, excluding Sparkles answer.
Sparkles sternly says, "But I'm staying."
The friends gasp after hearing it. Sparkles then steps to Sakura's side, and has her horn glowing.
"But Sparkles, are you sure about this?" Eden scaredly asks.
"I'm sure about it," Sparkles answers with a determined look.
Sakura and her friends look to see that Sparkles is serious about this. Sakura smiles and nods her head agreeing to let her battle. Sparkles stands by Sakura's side and is ready to help Sakura fight.
Lefty Shield is looking angry, and shouts," Get them!"
Sakura then uses her magic to create a force field to stop the guards in his tracks.
She turns back to her friends, and orders, "Run you guys!"
"Right," Baked Apple and Aerial Ace says.
The two young stallions take Apple Eden back to the castle while Sakura and Sparkles deal with the guards. Sakura lets down the force field, and she and Sparkles begin fighting the guards. Sakura has been giving sword lessons and karate lessons from her grandfather when she was young, so she's very good on fighting. With her magic that makes her very tough. Sakura kicks, some guards on the head, she clashes her sword with the guards, and uses her magic against some of theirs. Sparkles uses her magic and hooves to fight back.
At the road to the castle, Baked Apple and Aerial Ace take Apple Eden back to the castle. They had to hurry and get the message to Spike and their parents before this gets out of hand. However, as they reach the entrance, they are confronted by none other than Dark Quill. The three friends stop in their track, and the two young stallions stand in front of Eden hoping to defend her.
Dark Quill calmly says, "Please, I mean you no harm."
"Yeah right. Sakura heard you saying that and we know that you're working for Lefty Shield to get rid of your queen," Ace protests sternly.
Then Baked Apple asks, "And why should we believe you?"
Dark Quill sighs and says, "Regretfully I did help Lefty overthrow Queen Gold Robin, but I was only doing this to protect my sister."
The three friends look at each other with confused look. For some strange reason, Baked Apple can see a strange look in his eyes, and for some reason… Dark Quill is telling the truth.
Eden politely asks, "What do you mean?"
"What did he do?" Baked Apple firmly asks.
Dark Quill looks away with a sad look, and says, "Well, it happened something like this…"
Back at the forest, Sakura and Sparkles continue to fight off Lefty Shield. They are able to defeat all the guard and have them… secured to a tree, until they can take Lefty Shield down. Lefty Shield tries to use his magic at Sakura and Sparkles, but Sakura is able to create a protective shield so they won't get hit by the blast.
Sakura groans with frustration and says, "This unicorn is starting to get on my nerves. He just doesn't want to give up."
"I know. Lefty isn't the type to let down a fight until it's done," Sparkles says.
"When we're down or when he's down?" Sakura asks.
"When his opponent is down," Sparkles bluntly answers.
"Great," Sakura says, rolling her eyes.
They then hear Lefty Shield says, "You two young ladies might as well give up. You can't beat me that easily."
"I'm not going to let you beat me for you to take the throne," Sakura sternly says.
"Yeah. You're not going to get away with this." Sparkle angrily adds.
Lefty Shield laughs evilly, and says, "Oh I will get away with it. As long as I have you, your brother will do everything that I said in order to protect you."
Sparkles eye widen in shock, and quietly exclaims, "What?!"
"What are you talking about?!" Sakura demands in rage.
"Nothing much, just told Dark Quill that you'll be spending your time in the dungeon is he doesn't do what I said., and begs me not. He loves you so much that he'll do anything to protect you." Lefty Shield evilly remarks.
Sakura and Sparkles gasps hearing this new information .Sakura understand why Dark Quill seems so sad when she seen him with Lefty, Lefty Shield is threatening Dark Quill. What's worse he's using Dark Quill own sister, Sparkles to do it. This makes Sparkles mad with rage, and wants to teach Lefty a lesson.
Sparkles angril says, "I thought it was stange why my brother would over through the queen, but now I understand what's really going on! You threaten my brother, and used me to do it!"
"And I'm going to capture you so that he won't think of anything to stop with my plans!" Lefty Shield angrily shouts.
He then uses his magic to create a large blast that breaks Sakura's protective shield. The blast sends Sparkles and Sakura back and falls down to the ground. The two feels a bit dazed from the blast and look to see Lefty Shield walking towards them with his horn lighting up.
Lefty Shield smirks and says, "Well, it looks like I'll be ending up with two hostages instead of one. I'm sure who ever owns this little creature would be happy to get you back… with a price, of course."
"Like my mother or Princess Celestia would ever submit to you!" Sakura angrily protests.
"You'll never get away with this Lefty Shield," Sparkles angirly adds.
"Yeah right. You and what army?" Lefty Shield remarks.
Lefty Shield is about to use his magic to strike a Sakura and Sparkles. Suddenly, a bright blue blast hits Lefty Shield at the side and sends him back from the two females. The two girls are shocked to see the blasty and don't know where it comes from.
Sparkles turns around with a smile and happily exclaims, "Dark Quill!"
"Sparkle, are you okay?" Dark Quill asks, as he runs towards his sister.
"I'm fine. I'm just happy to see you," Sparkles sayswith glee.
Dark Quill races Sparkles and gives her a hug.
He lets her go and sadly says, "Sparkles, I'm sorry for being involved in all of this. I didn't want to I really did. Is just that…"
"I know what Lefty Shield did, and why you did it," Sparkles interrupts with a sad expression.
Dark Quill looks down feeling ashamed for what he has done over the years, and expect Sparkles to be mad at her.
Instead Sparkles smiles, and says, "But I forgive you, and I can see how much you care for me.
The two hug each other, and are able to make up for their mistake. The four friends smile to see that the brother and sister are able to talk it own, and know what's really going on. Not looking, Lefty Shield is able to get up and use his magic to lift his sword. He runs to the group hoping to strike them, something lands in front of them. It has purple and green scales all over, and it's making Lefty Shield very scared and making him scoot back in fear.
The four friends, excluding Sparkles smile seeing who the being really is.
The four happily cheers, "Spike!"
Spike turns his head back and says, "Hey kids, I got your message and it looks like I made it in the nick of time."
Sakura hugs Spike, and says, "I'm so glad to see you."
"Me too," Spike says hugging Sakura with one arm.
Just then, Eden hears family, happily shouting, "Eden!"
Everyone turn to see their parents, brothers, sisters, along with Ruby and Raspberry. Fluttershy and Big Mag re ahead of the group trying to run to Eden.
Eden begins to shed tears of joy, and saying, "Mommy! Daddy!"
Eden runs as fast as her hooves can carry. The three family member hug each other. Eden's sister, and baby brother hug Eden too. The family are very happy that they are back together again. Baked Apple and all of his family join in the hug and glad that the Apple Family is back together again.
Spike grabs Lefty by the tail and says, "Looks like we were able to catch the pony responsible for this whole mess.
"Easy on him, Spike. He'll have a lot of thinking to do when he's going to be punished for his wrong doing," Rarity remarks.
Lefty struggles as he says in spite, "Let me go you overgrown lizard!"
"After what you've done! No way," Spike says with a smirk on his face.
"I couldn't agree more," A calm voice says.
The friends turn to see the mare who looks like Eden is being pulled by Rainbow Dash in a wagon. Eden is shocked to see the mare who looks exactly like her, and this mare is the real Queen of Marathor. Eden walks over to the wagon with her double in side so she can meet her.
Feeling nervous, Eden says as she bow before her, "Um hello, your majesty."
Gold Robin smiles and asks, "I'm assuming you're Apple Eden?"
"Um yes," Eden shyly answers as she looks back up.
"I would like to thank you," Gold Robin says with a smile.
"Um, thank me?" Eden questionably replies.
Gold Robin nods her head, and explains, "Yes. You took my place so that Lefty can't abuse the throne. You were able to display kindness and bravery because of your action. I'm also thankful that your friends, family, and their families were able to protect my kingdom, and two of my best friends too."
She looks to see Dark Quill and Sparkles walking towards her, and bows at her presents. Gold Robin shows signs that they don't seen to be formal.
Gold Robin hugs them and says, "I'm so glad you two are alright."
"Yes. And I'm sorry for being forced into all of this," Dark Quill apologizes.
"That's okay. I would have done the same if I was in your horseshows," Golden Quill answers.
"Excuse me?" Sakura questionably asks.
Gold Robin nods her head, and say, "Yes. He told me about Lefty threatening him with Sparkles, and he was able to break me out of that prison so that I can find help."
"Yes. And… it looks like you were able to find the best kind of help," Dark Quill says with a smile.
Everypony smiles and begin laughing. Now that Lefty Shield and his guards are caught and arrested, Gold Robin and all the citizens of Marathor are able to live their lives in peace.
Hours later, a big party is going on in the castle, and everypony in Marahor is invited. Raspberry and his parents organized the party with Twilight and Sakura's help. Everypony are having fun dong games, eating food, and talking to each other with glee.
Sakura, her friends, their families, along Dark Quill, and Sparkles are talking to each other while they're having dinner.
Raspberry happily says, "This has to be the best party we ever had to put on in this short amount of time."
"You know it my boy," Cheese Sandwich says, giving Raspberry a nuggie.
"I'm very glad that we were able to help save a kingdom, right Spike," Rarity says.
"You know it," Spike says.
Then Fluttershy asks, "Do you all know where Apple Eden and Gold Robin are."
"I think they went to talk outside at one of the balconies," Baked Apple says.
Out on the balcony Gold Robin and Apple Eden are looking at the night sky.
Gold Robin turns to Eden says, "It's a lovely night."
"I agree, the stars are beautiful tonight," Eden agrees with a smile.
"I have something I want to give you," Gold Robin repelis.
"What is it?" Eden asks.
Gold Apple brings out a small box, and and opens it. Eden is shocked to see a silver tiara with light pink rose quartz on it. In the middle is a white diamond robin.
Eden shockley asks, "What is it?"
"This was my best tiara before I was crowned queen. I want you to have it because you showed kindness, bravery, and good leadership while I was in Ponyville. I also want you to remember me by," Gold Robin says.
Eden is surprised to see that the queen is giving her best tiara when she was crowned princess before being queen.
She cautiously asks," Are… are you sure?"
"Yes. I'm sure," Gold Robin answers.
She then puts the crown on Eden's head. Eden blushes a bit, but thankful to have a good friend now.
Just then, Raspberry comes over, and says with glee, "Hey guys, come back inside for the party."
He then zooms back inside. The two mares begin to giggle a bit.
Gold Robin walks away and says, "Let's go back inside. I'm sure everypony are wondering where we are."
"Yes, let's," Eden happily replies.
Gold Robin and Apple Eden walk back inside so they will join the party. Not looking, the tiara Eden receives from Gold Robin shimmers a bright pink glow and then disappear. The rest of the night, everypony enjoy the party, and are able to make more friends than they have done before.
