"Reach, Harvest.. 90* on, my mark" Shor commanded at they fell the battle.
"Yes sir/right" moth Harvest and Reach said at once and they flipped so they would hit feat first.
"Lock and load impact in 10" Shor said as they fell and the diamond dogs started to shoot arrows at them that bounced off of their shields.
"9.." " jet packs.......Engage" the thrusters came out of the packs and the jet engines activated.
"8.." Reach started picking targets in the crowd that was starting to form
"7.." the diamond dogs stop slow the charge and focus on the new unknown threat.
"6.." reach shoots a diamond dog with DMR that is about to kill an orange mare with blond Maine
"5.." the assault drop ship makes its first attack run on the front of the diamond dog charge Harvest holds up his hand and starts counting down.
"4.." The guards where falling back followed by the Sangheili to the last barricade.
"3.." "prepare for impact"
"2.." Harvest grabs his brute shot
"1" IMPACT
The three freelancers hit the ground and raised their weapons and took off toward the last barricade.
First Barricade
“Hold with honor brothers these Diamond dogs will not take this town this day!” Aul shouted as another two diamond dogs fell to his plasma riffle and energy sword.
“Apple jack look out!” shouted Kiro as a diamond dog raised its dagger to stab her
“no not like this” apple jack said she closed her eyes but the stab never came sheoppend her eyes to see the diamond dog holding its thought or what was left of it and its eyes rolled into the back of its head and it fell forward in a pool of its own blood.
“Twilight, rainbow dash down NOW” commanded Oda. As a flurry of blue plasma flew over twilight, and dash form his turret.
“Thank you Oda.” Twilight said
“ya thanks” Dash said
“Think nothing of it.” Oda Said as an arrow hit his back activating his shields he dropped the turret spun around and fired both of his plasma riffles killing another 8 diamond dogs. How fragile they were having no armor what could do anything to stop plasma.
“Flutter shy, Scootaloo, Rarity Lookout” Shouted Kiro as the major dived a at them scooped them up and used his body as a shield to stop more arrows causing his shields dropped to 60%; being a lower rank his shield strength was not as strong as The others. But he had to protect them not just because he was ordered to but he had a strong connection to them they were his friends and he would not let anyone hurt them.
“are the three of you alright” He asked as he stood up and took out his shoot gun, with his needle rifle out of ammunition.
“Yes we are alright” the three of them said. Then there was a roaring series of explosions.
“Get behind me. Ill protect you” He said turning around bringing his shotgun up. And the three terrified ponies did as he said.
“Guards fall back to the town center” commended Shining armor
“Yes sir.” The guards said and stared back to the town center where the rest of the ponies in the town where it was The last line of defense.
“Brothers with them Fall back.” Orders Aul
Last barricade
The last of the guards and the elites had just arrived Aul, Kiro, and Oda let the civilies they helped over before they jumped over the barricade themselves turned and opened up on the advancing diamond dogs.
“Engage!” Yelled Aul and Shining armor.
The unicorns and elites started firing everything they had.
Aul using his plasma riffle on two more of the vile beasts. One Tried to get past him only to be grabbed with Auls free hand by the thought and shot in the face with the very riffle he was trying to avoid. Aul took out a plasma grenade and tagged the body and through it into the horde where it exploded in a cloud of deadly blue plasma. He brought his hoof down on o another beasts head before grabbing his energy sword and cut down two more and gunned down five more with his riffle. He turned around to see two diamond dogs lunging at him only to be downed by a lightning spell form shining armor.
“Thank you quadruped…Shining armor” He said shooting five more diamond dogs that were behind Shining Armor.
“I’ve got your back Elite. Aul da morph” He said turning around and incinerating four more with a fire spell.
“And I you” Aul said turning around now back to ‘back’ with Shining armor
“Get soooome!” shouted Oda as he fired his turret into the horde of diamond dogs but as they fell they just kept coming. His turret started beeping and flashing red. He dropped it and grabbed both of his plasma riffles and started firing. One diamond dog managed to get passed him and made a b-line straight toward the group of terrified ponies in the center.
“Damn it KIRO Gro’gragort (enemy) coming your way!” He shouted to the major.
“con da’ shoa’ (got it)” replied Kiro
The diamond dog lunged at sweaty bell only to get an armored two towed hoof to the face sending him back 4 feet before it looked up to see one of the Sengheili in front of him standing in a defensive way of the ponies. Befoor it herd two more appear on its right and left.
Kiro
“Damnit Kiro two more heading your way.” Oda shouted
“Under stood I’ve got them.” Kiro said
“you want them” He said gesturing to the ponies before butting his shotgun on his back and activating his wrist mounted energy daggers.
“you have to go through me” he said putting some of his wait on his back leg while moving the other out a bit. He tilted he head to apple bloom, scootalo and sweaty bell.
“kiro you won’t let them get us will you?” sweaty bell asked him
“not on my life little one. Now back up and close your eyes ok” He said so they did so he turned back to the three Diamond dogs who have drawn there weapons daggers by the looks of them. He knew he had to protect them, and as long as he lived he would not let them be hurt not now, Not Ever. He brought up his energy daggers which looked like a white fluid was flowing throughout them a.
“YOU THREE WILL FALL THIS DAY!” He shouted
They all ran toward him two of them dodged hid daggers but one wasn’t so lucky and got a chunk of kis arm cut off. Kiro took advantage of his pain and kneed him in the jaw sending him into the air only for Kiro to jump and kick him into a building cracking the wall. Kiro landed and ducked just in time to avoid a stab to the neck instead kiro brought up his left arm and parried the stab and kicked the Dog behind him this one having some stage kind of dreadlocks in the chest with enough force to send him skidding back a few feet but these kept its footing slowing the skid with its dagger.
It flipped its dagger upside down as the edge of the blade started to glow as it did a chant quietly to itself. And charged enchanted blade in hand Kiro saw this on his motion tracker ant went to make a down words vertical slash with his right energy dagger only to have it blocked and be forced into a dagger lock.
But the dog wasn’t any where near as strong as Kiro so he slid he hooves to alter his footing and using his waist he forced his entire body to spin into the lock braking it and throwing an elbow into the side of its face making it recoil in pain before stabbing his left E-dagger into the Dogs left knee then twisted causing the leg to sever from what was left of the knee down. And as it started to fall Kiro spun in one fluid motion and sliced the in half from right to left at the waist killing him instantly two left. He spun around just in time to block two more daggers one with each of his E-daggers one from the Dog he has injured and the other in a red belt over his shoulder. He was not in a good position he was losing this struggle.
But he decided to try something else and decided to try to use his anatomy to his advantage again so he leaned back and made one strong push with both of his daggers and rolled onto his back and spun his legs into both of the dog’s faces sending them both into a wall the injured one with a crushed skull with a wet crunch while spinning he took out his shot gun and hopped back onto his feet just in time to see the last one make its fatal mistake it rushed him a and went to stab him with his left E-dagger but he over shot the Dog its dagger stabbed into the open part of his armor near his shoulder overloading the shields that where already weekend.
“RRAAAAAAAGH!” Kiro shouted
Spraying purple blood on the ground he spun around and kicked the legs out from under the Dog and as it hit the ground he stomped on them there was a Loud Crunch as his legs where crushed. Kiro took his shotgun in his right hand and shot the Dog in the face with it. The plasma enhanced Shell tor its head apart. And with a sigh he turned and took the dagger out of hi shoulder and attached it to the mag rail on his thigh.
“you can open your eyes know” he said turning around to face the ponies which to his amusement most of which had their eyes closed opened them to see that he had dealt with the Dogs. But say that there protector was injured.
“Mister Kiro your hurt!” shouted Sweaty bell seeing the stab wound on her new friends shoulder. Not knowing that Sangheili heal faster than ponys.
“this is nothing little one. But thank you for caring. Now the...” he was cut off .
BOOM BOOM Boom

A series of explosions shoot down the streets away from the barricade. Filling the street with smoke the elites and guards readied there weapons and spells as the smoke started to clear. Three figures appeared in the smoke one towering above the other two the taller wearing golden armor the same species as the other three. The others in the group behind the barricade scared of the new arrivals.
“Shor/Shipmaster!” the other elites and the other element bearers shouted.
“Who are you!” shouted Shining armor over the loud shriek of the drop ships engines as it made another staffing run on advancing diamond dogs.
“I am Ship master Shor vadum commander of the three warriors that fight alongside your guards.” Responded Shor as he turned to his honor guard.
“Aul status report?” he asked
“sixty guards are injured and thirty are dead shipmaster.” Aul answered with a bow of his head.
“And the inhabitants of this town how are they?” He asked.
“Hay mister kiro who is that” asked scootalo. This question getting the attention of most of every pony in the group.
“That small one is Ship master. My leader” He said to her.
“That is Shor?!” asked almost everyponyels
“Aul Number count how many of this vermin is left” he asked Aul
“About sevenhundred Shipmaster” Aul Said
“Kiro how are the ponys?”
“Safe, No casualties Ship master” Kiro responded
“Aul look at his sholder I can smell his blood from heer.” Shor said
“Yes ship master” Aul said
“New Texas”
“What have you got harvest?” Shor asked
“Diamond dogs about to enter firing range.” Harvest responded
“Let’s rock” said Reach
“Freelancers, Attack!” Shor shouted

Shor slammed into another Dog Braking its spine Turning around and kicking ones diamond dog in the gut braking his spine with the kick sending it into a the horde of the beasts they were so fragile. He jumped into the air sending 4 fuel rod rounds into the horde exploding in to green mist and body parts. He took out four frag grenades out of his slips space disks and threw them into the horde 30 down 400 to go.
“Blaze Maneuver Gama, Gama 6,2”
“On it arrival in 1:00” Blaze said
He disengaged the pack and landed onto another dog switching his battle riffle to automatic and fired 10 shots 10 head shots. He crossed the BR and charged Dura steal wrist blades extended and stabbed one in the head and twisting taking the head and spine with the spin he grabbed the spine and swung slamming it into an unlucky Dog crushing both skulls. He grabbed one by the neck and stabbed it in the face with the other hand tagged it and threw it into the horde.
“LAST MAG!” shouted Reach as he punched through 2 dogs skulls and shot 3 more with his Assault rifle. Drawing his hand back he finished the last of his magazine.
“IM OUR” He shouted hammering another in the head crushing its skull with his gun.
“REACH CATCH!” Shor Shouted flip throwing the fuel rod gun to him.
Shor landed and put his hand to his back where there was a slip space disk and in a flash of light and in his hands what looked to the Diamond dogs like two boxes with a small flame at one end.
“burn” was all he said before they were ablaze with blue fire.
“davah arivel in five seconds” blaze said
“HARVEST, REACH!” He shouted ant the two of them got over to him harvest covered in blood.
“Reach secondary engage…NOW” Shor said and the three of them knead as a bubble shield appeared around them as there were eight loud cracks and eight banshees flew over making a staffing run with their plasma cannons before coming around again and dropped there fuel rod bombs incinerating most of what was left of the diamond dogs before returning to the ship via planetary jump.
“Thanks Blaze. How many are left?” shor asked
“15 Dovah.” Blaze said
“Harvest left, Reach right” Shor said as Reach dropped the shielded and they sprinted at their target.
Reach
He took out a knife, flipped it and stabbed the first dog in the side of the head with it then took it out and threw it into the skull of another one. Three left, he thought to himself as two charged him and he dodged them and punched one in the head crushing his skull. He extended his elbow close lined another dog that fell once again to a crushed skull. However the last one had a dagger out with a green cloth around it obviously some veteran and they sat there circling one another the two of them slammed into each other. And Reach having more training turned the dagger on its owner and stabbed it in the neck. Tango down.
Harvest
He walked with a bounce in his step as he took his brute shot out and ran toward the dogs that were not expecting it two where cut down by its bayonet another having the front of the gun shoved into his stomach
“Die” Harvest said and fired the shot making the thing explode. He put the Brute shot on his back and took out the two pistols and in one fluid motion turned around and placed one round into each of the last two’s heads.
Shor/New Texas
Shor jumped over the two that rushed him and spun around and kicked them in the side crushing ones spine and dazing the other. When he landed he spun and back kicked the dazed one in the ribs crushing his heart with its own ribs. He turned to see the others two had daggers with a strange glow to the edge and charged him he readied his E-daggers and he sliced the unarmed one in half and blocked the two daggers being stabbed at his sides and spun and cut ones arm off grabbed the arm spun and slammed it into the other his partners head dazing him and kicked him back in the face with enough force to sever his head and shatter it. He side stepped dodging another stab and slammed into the Diamond dog with enough force to send him airborne and ran and activated his jet pack running into him and slammed him into a wall breaking every bone in its body but to make shur he stabbed it in the head as he got off the wall.
Barricade
The ponies where just shocked just a little while ago they were losing the battle and then three of theguys show up and decimate the entire horde who are they.
“Mister Kiro If that is your leader, then who are those two beside him?” Sweaty bell asked
“Well you see little one the two with him are freelancers” he Responded
