Chapter 15: New Friendships & New Laughs

A couple of months have come and gone. And Equestria has become such a place for tranquillity and peace.
"Ah this place couldn't get more peaceful than this." Said to myself while taking a good breather.
As I layed on the grass just taking in the peace and harmony of this place I was still thinking on what's going on with Earth.
Is it still that same as i left and no one even cared to find me? Or are they still searching for me hoping that they can find me and be at peace?
I was actually starting to get worried but at the same time I was really hoping that it's just in my head. "*Sigh* I really hope somthing exciting happens today so I can get these damn thoughts outta my head!" I said.
I then started to get a little sleepy so I decide to take a small nap right here.
[1st person]: Rainbow Dash
Today was going good. Hanged out with Pinkie, helped out AJ for awhile, and an awesome nap on my favorite tree. AHHH! It's just today was blissful.
After a couple of mintues clearing the clouds near the forest I decided to go to the park and fly around a bit. After trying out some new moves I been practicing on I stopped for a break.
I sat there for awhile just staring into space. I got up to go see if Cody wanted to hang out today. As I looked down he was already there.
I flew off the cloud to so that I can ask him my question. But somthing was wrong when I got to him. He was asleep! "Hehe. Oh Cody you shouldn't have dropped you guard like that." I said to myself.
I flew towards Twilight and told her my plan for Cody. All I asked her was to tell the others about this plan. She nodded and set Owlicious and Spike to go tell the others about my idea.
As the girls got together I told them my plan. "Are ya sure about this Rainbow?" Asked the conseren AppleJack. "Trust me. This is going to be awesome!" I said.
At first they were conserened that Cody woudln't like it. But they all nodded in agreement. I smiled mischeviously and grabbed Cody from his spot and dragged him.
[1st person]: Cody
I woke up from my nap I had and streched. "*grunt* AHHHH." As I opened my eyes I realized I was blindfolded. "Okay who ever is doing this You do realize I'm going to get you back for this right?" I said to my perpetrators.
I heard chuckling from behind me. I was about to turn around but when I did I fell. I fell into a pond. I swam up to catch my breath. As I got to th surface I Saw Rainbow and the girls all Laughing at me.
"BWAHAHAHA!" Said the joyful Rainbow. I was extemely confused. "Okay what's just happened?" I asked them all. "Well *snicker snicker*" Said AppleJack. "Rainbow saw you lying asleep on the field." Said Twilight.
"*snicker* She then got us together...." Said Rarity. "Then she told us her plan about blinfolding you and taking you onto a pond and wait for you to wake up and fall! HAHAHA!" Said Pinkie.
I then looked at Rainbow. "Really?" I asked her sarcastically. "Well Yeah! Also you should've realized that you shouldn't have let your guard down Cody." Replied Rainbow.
I chuckled a bit then started to laugh too. "HAHAHAHA! Oh your right Rainbow. I shouldn't have let my guard down so easily." I said. Rainbow then put out her hoof to help me out. I grabbed her hoof.
THEN smiled mishceviously. She gave a shocked look. I then said "You souldn't have let your guard down Dashie!" I said as I pulled her in the pond with me.
She swam up to the surface as well. We both stared at each other ready for the next one to make a move. But all we heard was "CANONBALL!" by Pinkie.
She jumped in and swam to us. Me and Dash then looked at eachother and laughed. "HAHAHA!". then all of the girls jumped in one at a time.
"It never gets dull here huh? I said to myself as Dashie splashed me in the face. "Oh it's on now!" I said to her.

A couple of months have passed and it was another time for The Running of The Leaves! I didn't get to do it last time cause I was pre-occupid.
But this time I'm ready to run! I meet up with the girls at the start up line. Pinkie and Spkie we're anouncing again, Fluttershy and Rarity was going to watch us, And finally Me, Rainbow, AJ, And Twilight we're all racing together.
As I got up to the line with them I told them I brought my spidey boots but not my gloves. I mean I wanted to test them out more but I didn't want to cheat. "Why tell us this?" Said Rainbow.
"Well I like to be cautious. So If I was going to having thing that could upset you all later I would feel horrible." I said to them hoping they weren't mad with me. "I'm glad you told us Cody." Said Twilight.
I smiled for relief. "Okay everypony The Race is about to begin!" Said Spike. We all got ready. "On your mark. Get set." Said Spkie. "GO!" Yelled Pinkie. "And they're off!" Said Spike.
I was running at a good speed but not enough to make me tired. Twilight was doing the same thing. (Hehe. Looks like great minds think alike) I thought to myself.
"And Rainbow Dash is in the lead. No wait AppleJack's in the lead. No it's Rainbow no it's AppleJack!" Said Pinkie. I sighed. "Looks like they're having fun huh?" I said to Twilight.
"Looks like it." She replied. After a few minutes of pacing ourselves and hearing how close or how far away Rainbow and AJ were I decided it's time to give it my all!
"Hey Twilight." I said to her. "Yes? What is it Cody?" She asked me. "It's been fun and all but it's time I stepped it up a bit." I said. I then strarted to gain more speed until i was running at my maximum.
"See ya later Twilight!" I yelled before she couldn't see me anymore. As my speed began to increase I saw that alot of ponies were exhausted in front of me. So I decided to jump onto a branch and ninja jump towards the finish line.
"And Applejack's in the lead! Nope it's Rainbow now! Now AJ now Rainbow! AJ, Rainbo-" Said Pinkie before Spike stopped her. "Wait what's that? He said as he saw me jumping from tree to tree trying to get ahead of them.
"It's Cody! And he's jumping from the branchs to get to the finish line" Said Pinkie. Both Applejack and Rainbow Dash looked behind them and said "WHAT?!". They saw me jumping from the trees and gaining speed.
After I got close enough to them I jumped off the branchs and started Running. "See ya later girls!" I said to them as I ran past them. I saw it, the finish line! I was so eager to get to the finish line I almost forgot that I gained to much momentumand That I couldn't stop.
But once I jumped towards the line I rolled myself so that I could stop. And It worked! I passed the finish line put I landed in a haystack.
"And this years first place goes to Cody!" Yelled Spike. Fluttershy cheered for me. I picked myself up so that I could get to the stage.
But as I got to the stage Rainbow Dash and AppleJack ran up to me "Wait! He doesn't deserve that first place!" Said Rainbow. "Why not?" I asked. "You cheated! You used that fancy shoes of ya'rs to beat us!" Said AppleJack.
I face-palmed again "Listen the main reason I told you that was so that you can understand my plan." I said to them. "What plan?" They asked. "My plan was to use these shoes on the trees to gain momentum and also they were used so that I didn't slip." I said to them.
They looked at me with shock and surprise. "You see if he slipped then the race would've been cancelled and Cody didn't want that to happen." said Twilight as she finally caught up with us.
"Exactly!" I said . "Sorry Cody." Said AppleJack. "I guess we should've expected you had a plan for this all along." Said Rainbow. I smiled "It's fine." They both smiled with joy.

A few months have gone by again and it was Nightmare Night again! This time I came pre-paird again! I asked Rarity (again) to help me make a costume this time with out the enchantment.
Together we made my new costume! Kamen Rider OOO TaJaDol Combo! And it was awesome! But I didn't enter the contest again it was just a one time thing. I was A judge this time!
As we got together everypony awed at it. We did the same thing again this year too. Hanged out, played games together, and ate lots of sweets.
I sat on a bench and began to star gaze. It was so beautiful. I then felt a hoof touch my shoulder. I turned around to see who it was. But it was none other than Princess Luna.
"Oh! Hello Luna." I said. "Greetings Cody. It's been awhile huh? Replied Luna. "Yeah it has. How've ya been?" I asked her. "Good. I'm just here visitng and was hoping I could have a word with you?" Asked Luna.
"Sure why not?" I replied. Luna sat with me and we talked for awhile. Her tales were simply amazing! I mean she did all that to those eniemies? (Note to self. Don't ever in ANY circumstance make her mad) I thought to myself.
We shared stories back and forth. And couple of laughs too. It was really fun to hang with Luna. "Well Cody this has been one enjoyful night. I hope we can do this soon." Said Luna. I nodded.
Luna was about to take off towards Canterlot but I stopped her. "Wait Luna!" I yelled. "What is it Cody?" She asked me. I stook out my hand "Let's be friends." I replied.
She was surprised at my invataton. She was begining to cry for joy "Yes let's!" Luna said in joy. I did another Fouze handshake with her. She then waved me goodbye. As the night was begining to end...........
