Chapter 2: Predicaments
While Twilight and Spike continue having a hard time looking for Derpy in the major crowd of ponies in the market center, Derpy however can be seen shopping muffins in Sugarcube corner. Spike then spots her and says
“Hey Derpy come over here I have something to ask you”! Derpy then proceeds to walk towards him, while Spike called out Twilight, “Oh thank Celestia we finally found you Derpy!”, What do you mean we?”, said Spike.
"So the reason I called for you Derpy Hooves that if you want to try out my new creation the teleporter device which I call it."
Derpy just stood there looking at Twilight as she talked and talked for a while about the teleporting device and it's useful feature.
Spike then replies “You got all of that Derpy?” Derpy simply nodded yes and Twilight asked her if she agreed and nodded again. “Ok so it’s settled!, let’s go head out to the basement of the library and try out my teleporting device!”
“Ah Jeez why do I have a bad feeling about this?” said Spike.
After buying her groceries at last, the trio then headed out to the library. While walking there Twilight couldn't help but to look at Derpy’s bag and asked.
“Your in the mail service now Derpy?” said Twilight, Derpy simply nodded her again, “You know she’s really the silent type for a pegasus” said Spike in a quiet voice.
Twilight had to guess Derpy is now in the mail service due to her bag showing the mail service symbol and wondered if she gets the job done. The trio finally arrived to the library and unloaded all their stuff in Twilight’s room.
“Ok all our stuff will be here just to make sure” said Twilight. Ok then let’s get started on this device Twilight!” “Ok hold up Spike!” replied Twilight.
Derpy however was starving ever since the morning and decided to take out two muffins out of her bag to eat.
“Hurry up and get over here Derpy said!” yelled Spike, Derpy then picked out her two muffins and headed to the basement.
“Ok this switch turns it up and this button starts it”, Twilight said to herself, while Derpy was eating her first muffin and looking over at the amazing device.
“Wow you created this all by yourself Twilight?” said an amazed Spike, “Why of course silly, I am quite brilliant with things and this is one of them!” proudly she said. Spike couldn't help but wonder why Twilight didn't want to test out the device on herself and asked her again “Are your sure it’s a good idea to test it on a live pony Twilight”?
Looking at him angrily “Like I said Spike it’s harmless, the only effects are big boo-boo’s and such if you want proof I’ll put this big lizard as a experiment test”.
Quickly placing it she then turned the lever and it was teleported somewhere else, Where did it went? asked Spike, “I put the location to Ponyville plaza Spike, we should hear the other ponies freaking out by now”.
Moments later screaming coming from the plaza which can be heard just outside the basement door
“Yup that sounds like some ponies freaking out now because of the lizard’s random teleportion", Twilight said.
“Ok this device looks safe I guess” said Spike.
”Trust me Spike it’s safe, ok Derpy ready now?”
Derpy is then seen napping by the two while Spike and Twilight were talking the whole time.
“Boy we sure talk a lot don’t we Spike”?
Spike just rolled his eyes at her, “Ok I’ll wake her up and tell her to get ready”.
Moments later Derpy has awoken and she was ready to teleport to Ponyville plaza.
“Ok systems check and we are ready to go”
Derpy then proceeds to head to the teleporter but realizes she has forgotten her last muffin, “Muffin..” she said and quickly grabbed it. She then proceeded to walk to the teleporter but accidentally trips over on one of the devices and her muffin flies over crashes and messes up the mainframe on the device which sabotages it completely causing it to emit noises and smoke.
"What’s going on?!" said Spike.
“I don’t know I don’t know!”, Twilight said out loud as she began to try and fix the problem.
Derpy began to worry about the noise and began to panic and flew around making matters worse.
“Stop Derpy!, your making things worse!” said a worried Twilight.
She then bumped into a book case and fell down as well getting lightly electrocuted in the process by the teleporter and saw the case about to fall on her, she then closed her eyes and covered herself as tear can be seen coming out of her eye, when suddenly the teleporter started working and she vanished in a flash.
"Ugh my head huh! where did she go?!”, said Twilight.
I got a bad feeling about this..”, said Spike.
Meanwhile on Earth
“Boy!, that was some good pizza wasn't it Cole?” said Zeke.
"Yeah I guess at least it’s one of the few good foods cheap and for me to digest while not electrocuting myself.
”Ha-ha! that’s right you have to avoid liquid related food I forgot all about that”!
“Quiet Zeke unless you want 4th of July coming soon” said an frustrated Cole.
“Whoa there cowboy!, I’m just kidding around there!, no need to get feisty”.
“Yeah sorry Zeke it’s just with these electric powers I forgotten all the things I can’t do with involving water, plus with all that happened after Kessler.
Zeke looked down at Cole. “Sorry I forgot about that Cole”, “It’s ok, the past is the past now”.
Meanwhile while they continued eating their pizza the news reveals a video clip report about a sudden drop of light that has crashed on the Warren in Empire City.
“What you think might have happened Cole”?
I don't know but I’m guessing it’s either a new conduit or it could be the beast Kessler warned me about, “You thinking about checking it out said a worry Zeke”?
Yeah I need to see if this conduit is a friend or an enemy of us.
And so Cole and Zeke head to the site where the mysterious light site unknown what lies in store ahead for them.
