"Ugh, I think I ate so much food."
Twilight was very hungry indeed. She stuffed as much food as she could into her insides, and soon, they were out of the house.
"Food's clear, next is the weather, there's a pegasus named Rainbow Dash that is in charge of clearing the clouds in today." Spike said.
"She's not doing a good job about it." Twilight said as she looked toward the clouds.
She was about to find her when suddenly, something rammed into her, knocking her into a puddle of mud. As she got up, Spike and an unfamiliar pegasus were standing next to her. That pegasus must be Rainbow Dash.
"Um, excuse me?" the pegasus said.
"You got mud all over me." Twilight said. When she had some privacy, she'll get some new clothes on and forget all about this.
"Let me help with that." Rainbow Dash said as she kicked a cloud, causing it to rain all over her. Thankfully the mud was off of Twilight's clothing, but she was wet.
"I guess I overdid it, how about this? My very own patented Rain-Blow Dry! No, don't thank me. You're quite welcome." Rainbow Dash said. Twilight was covered in mud, soaked, and blow-dried, leaving her clean, but with a messy mane.
"Let me guess, you're Rainbow Dash." Twilight said.
"The one and only, have you heard about me?" Rainbow said.
"Yes, I heard you were supposed to clear the sky today. I'm Twilight Sparkle, and Princess Celestia sent me to check on the weather."
"Yeah, that'll be a snap, it'll be a jiffy when I'm done practicing."
"Practicing for what?"
"The Wonderbolts! They are going to perform tomorrow in this year's Summer Sun Celebration."
"They're the most talented flyers in Equestria, aren't they?"
"Yep." Rainbow Dash said with pride.
"Oh please, they'd never accept a pegasus that can't clear the sky even for more measly day." Twilight said.
"Please, that's no challenge. I can clear an entire round of clouds in ten seconds flat."
"Prove it." Twilight said smugly, crossing her arms. To her surprise, Rainbow started kicking the clouds away with great speed. It was already such a blur when she landed.
"What did I say, ten seconds flat." Rainbow Dash said before she looked at a stopwatch in Twilight's hand. Rainbow tried to look at the timer, but Twilight moved it away from her reach.
"Well, what did it say?" Rainbow Dash said.
"It said you did it under ten seconds. I'm impressed." Twilight said.
"Yes! Well, I knew I can do it. Can't wait to hang out more!" Rainbow Dash said as she zipped off into the sky.
"Now that that's over with, let's see what's happening in the next area." Twilight said as they went off as Spike laughed at Twilight's messy mane, electing a scowl from the anthro pony.
"Wait, it's pretty once you get used to it."
At last, they've arrived at Carousel Boutique, where Spike has taken a little crush on a certain white unicorn.
"Oh my stars, darling. What happened to your coiffure!" Rarity said. She has grown quite fond of Twilight, who thought she would act up about the fact she was half human and an alicorn.
"You mean my mane? Was that what you reacted to? It's a long story. Anyways, I'm supervising this year's Summer Sun Celebration. Are you in charge of decorations?" Twilight said.
"Why, yes darling. But your outfit simply cannot do."
As much as Twilight wanted to protest, she was dragged in by Rarity, who was surprisingly strong. Twilight was thankful that she at least fixed her mane, though.
"I think I have something that fits you. I'd have to cut holes for your wings, though. Now where did you come from, darling?" the fashion-crazed unicorn said.
"Okay, I was born in Canterlot and sent here to supervise this year's Summer Sun Celebration." Twilight said as Rarity stretched one of her wings.
"Oh, the glamor, the sophistication." Rarity said as her eyes widened in surprise.
"You do know darling that I am envious, as I always dreamed of living there. Are you another princess?" Rarity asked.
"No, Rarity, though there is a possibility." Twilight said.
"I'll say, darling, this outfit will surely fit you." Rarity said as she pulled out an outfit that was kind of cute. It was a simple light blue buttoned blouse that had a pink bow on it. There was also a dark purple skirt with her cutie mark on it. It was simple, she liked it that way. Twilight immediately took the outfit and put it on in the changing room.
"Wow, this may be starting to grow on me." Twilight said as she picked up Rarity.
"Put me down put me-" Before Rarity can finish, Twilight pulled Rarity into a hug, causing her to choke slightly.
"That's not, ack! That's not all I have." Rarity said. Twilight dropped the white unicorn in shock.
"Now, what to make for the next outfit? I know, I'll get some emeralds, no, some sapphires!" Rarity said as she left for the sewing room.
"Quick, let's escape before she dyes my hair another color." Twilight said as she grabbed Spike, carrying him with her arms as if she was carrying a cat.
"Wasn't she wonderful, Twilight?" Spike said.
"Focus, Casanova, what's next on the list?" Twilight said.
"Oh, right. Music is next."
A small cottage surrounded by flora and fauna was their next step. The duo heard a songbird choir behind some bushes, and saw a butter yellow pegasus with a pink mane nearby.
"Oh my. Um, stop please, everyone, umm, excuse me sir? No offense, but your rhythm was just a teeny tiny bit off. Now, everyone follow me, please, a-one, a-two, a-one to three."
"Um, excuse me?" Twilight said, electing a scream from the butter yellow pegasus, scaring the birds away in the process.
"Oh wait, I haven't seen you around these parts. My name is Fluttershy." the yellow pegasus said.
"I'm sorry for scaring you and frightening your birds, miss. Do you happen to be in charge of music? It sounded beautiful." Twilight said.
"Why, yes I am. By the way, what are you?"
"My name is Twilight Sparkle, and I'm part alicorn, part human. My birth parents were both ponies, and I'm not sure how I was born like this. Even they don't know." Twilight said.
"Wow, a human/pony hybrid, how cool is that? Ohmygosh, is he yours?" Fluttershy said, looking at Spike.
"Yep, he's with me." Twilight said, messing with Spike's spines.
"Well, how did your life play out, Twilight?" Fluttershy said.
"Well, it all started when..."
"...and now I'm here, supervising this year's Summer Sun Celebration. Anyways, that's what I remember."
Twilight, Fluttershy, and Spike walked towards the Golden Oak Library.
"Alright, here it is. See you tomorrow, Fluttershy." Twilight said as she went inside the tree.
"Where are the lights?"
