Twilight the Anthro

Childhood

"So, do we tell her about how it really happened, doctor?" Nightlight said.

"I think we shouldn't, if she had a happy life. Let's just tell them that Velvet accidental ingested some kind of magic." the doctor said.

Nightlight looked at Twilight and inspected her in full detail. At first glance, the cute little foal, aside from her alicornhood, looked just like a normal little foal would. She had a bright lavender coat covering her whole body while her mane and tail were navyblue and had purple and pink strips in it. But that wasn't unusual, it was rare. What WAS unusual was the fact that instead of hooves, her limbs, minus the wings, ended in the hands and feet of a mythical race called hue-muns. What was strangest of all was her left eye. While her right eye was normal-looking, her left eye's iris was grey and had weird lines and dots in it that circle around her pupil.

"Well now that you mention it, it will make me sound like a bumbling idiot. Nopony should know this except us. Err sratch that, does anypony know a memory wiping spell." Velvet said, not wanting to take any chances with the secret being revealed.

Unbeknownst to the gang, a tiny machine was crawling on the ceiling, disguised as a spider. It sat on a web it spun, watching them. A fly got caught in its web, and it went to ingest the fly as spare power and for cover.

"Do you think someone is watching us?" a nurse said.

Yeah, who indeed. Hee hee hee... hoo hee haa... MWAHAHAHAHA! BWAHAHAHA!

CAN IT! I'm, oh what the heck, stop laughing.

Boy, you really suck the fun out of everything, don't you?

Yes, yes I do.

"...happy birthday dear Twilight, happy birthday to you." everyone said.

It's been four years since Twilight Sparkle was born. As she grew up, she began to exhibit a few more human traits, like transitioning from crawling to fully-fledged bipedal locomotion at the age of two and used her hands more than she used magic, in which she did not use at all. As of now, despite being an alicorn and being part human, she has gone surprisingly well in the world. She began to feel embarrassed in public without wearing clothes for some reason when she began her first words.

Currently, she was wearing a white and red striped shirt, a pair of blue overalls, and some white socks. She was grinning at the cake and blew the four candles on the cake.

"What did you wish for, little Twily." Nightlight said as he nuzzled his little girl.

"I wished that I will do great things like Star Swirl the Bearded did when he was alive." Twilight said.

"Who knows, I don't think you'll be THAT great, but you might become a princess, since you are, well, an alicorn of sorts." Nightlight replied as Twilight hugged him and began eating her slice of cake and the vanilla ice cream on top.

"Come on Twi, you're going to be awesome!" an orange unicorn filly with a red and yellow mane said, her cyan eyes glittering with joy.

"I know, Sunset. Me, you, and Moondancer may just be the ones." Twilight said before nudging a light yellow unicorn with a red mane that had purple strips in it, who currently had her eyes locked on a book.

"She must be in writer's land. She may be one of the greatest author's the world has to offer!" the anthro alicorn said.

"Thank you, Twilight. You really know how to drag me into conversations, don't you?" Moondancer said with a smile on her face.

"Yes, I know." Twilight said as they both giggled. Moondancer and Sunset Shimmer both accepted Twilight for who she is and in no time at all, they became the closest of friends. The party dragged on, everyone was smiling.

Twilight was now seven years of age and was now three feet tall, almost as tall as Celestia. Speaking of her, she had developed a strange attachment to Twilight, whether of how strange she looked or she saw some magical potential in her, nobody knew. All they ever knew was that she enrolled her in Celestia's School for Gifted Ponies.

Over time, the humanoid alicorn developed a sense of style. She currently wore a pink sleeveless dress and two black shoes. She was a fast learner, but still didn't have magic. The doctor even said that she may not be able to do magic. Despite this, she was still very talented and studied hard.

Now, since she was part human, the doctors wanted to see if Twilight had magic, so they and the school decided to test the theory, by giving her an egg to hatch with a simple aging spell. Her parents were there as well to keep her company. Even without magic, they love her so. She's still their little girl, after all.

"Alright, the hospital wanted to know for certain if you have magic. So, here's your assignment. Blast your magic at the egg to make it hatch. Don't worry, it's not going in your grades." one of the teachers said.

Twilight channeled anything she could think of to make the egg hatch, but to no avail. Not even a spark came out.

"We're sorry for wasting you're time." one of the doctors said.

The doctors were just about to finish their notes, when suddenly, a burst of rainbow light crossed Canterlot, causing a whole burst of magic to come out of the filly, not just hatching the dragon, but spiraling out of control, causing the doctors to float off the ground, turning her parents into plants, and aging the dragon, who's head popped out of the roof.

Twilight put her hands to her head, unable to close her glowing white eyes while her wings flapped uncontrollably. She would've supposedly remained in this state before a hoof touched her in the shoulder. Twilight's eyes returned to there purple and grey colors as her magic died down. The judges landed on the ground, her parents were back to normal, and the dragon shrank back into a baby.

"Twilight Sparkle, aside from a few individuals, I have never come across someone with your raw abilities before, especially if you are supposedly part non-magical race. But these abilities need to be tamed through personal study. Twilight Sparkle, will you be my personal student?" Celestia announced in her usual calm demeanor.

"Me, you're own, student? How can I say no to that?" Twilight said as she hugged her mentor as much as her arms can allow.

"One other thing, Twilight. It's supposed to be in a different place, but what the heck." Celestia said, pointing towards Twilight's right shoulder. She looked to see a magenta six-pointed star and five smaller white stars imprinted on her shoulder.

"A cutie mark? It's not normally where it should be, and there's only one. BUT I AM SO HAPPY!" Twilight said, jumping around.

"Well what do you know? She does have magic." one of the doctors said, slightly smiling.
