Sunset's Past Part One: Sunset's Secret

It's been two days since Dempsey, the origins characters, Sunny, and her friends saw Coppermane get beat up by Neon Lights and his posse.

Dempsey was laying on his bed. He couldn't get his mind off of Sunny Flare of how pretty she is.

"C'mon Dempsey, pull yourself together here," Dempsey thought in his head.

He tried to think of something else, but Sunny Flare is the only thing in his mind.

Sunny was laying on her couch. He couldn't get Dempsey off her mind of how handsome and brave he was.

"C'mon Sunny keep your yourself together," Sunny said in her head

She tried thinking of something else, but Dempsey was the only thing in her mind.

Richtofen was sitting on his chair trying to find out what's on Dempsey's mind that doesn't make him focus.

"Something's up with Dempsey and I'll do my best to figure out what's bothering him," Richtofen said to himself

Indigo was sitting on her couch watching TV. She couldn't find out what's up with Sunny Flare.

"Something is definitely up with Sunny. I'll ask Richtofen. He'll know what to do about it," Indigo said to herself

The nine got to the entrance of CHS ready for another day without Neon Lights and his gang. Everyone went inside except for Dempsey and Sunny Flare. They both locked eyes with each other and immediately looked away blushing.

"So, uh, you want to go inside?" Dempsey said trying not to sweat.

"Uh... s-sure. I g-guess," Sunny said

So they went inside for another day of school.

Richtofen was walking down the hall until he met up with indigo Zap. She saw him walking so she walked up to him to tell him what's bothering Sunny.

"Hey Richtofen, quick question," Indigo said

"What is it?" Richtofen said

"Do you know what's bothering Sunny, I couldn't figure it out?" Indigo said

"I've been wondering the same thing, but instead I was focused on what's bothering Dempsey and I don... Wait. Do you think they're...?" Richtofen said

"Hmm," Indigo said trying to see if he's right.

"Nah," They both said at the same time thinking they don't have a crush on each other. Or do they?

Takeo was walking down the hall until he saw Sunset looking sad against the lockers. Something is bothering her and Takeo will do his best to see what's bothering Sunset.

Takeo went up to Sunset and said, "Hey sunset, something bothering you?"

Sunset looked up and see Takeo standing in front of her.

"N-no I'm fine," Sunset said "Some things went on my mind,"

"Oh really," Takeo said "Cause I can see you depressed by something,"

"I said I'm fine," Sunset said

"Okay," Takeo said "Whatever you said,"

Takeo continued walking down the hall wondering what's bothering Sunset.

"Something is up with Sunset and I'll do my best to get her to talk about why it's bothering her," Takeo said in his mind

The Origins Characters were walking down the hall. Richtofen still doesn't know what's bothering Dempsey and Takeo still doesn't know what's bothering Sunset as well. Dempsey stopped moving for a while until the other three stopped and turned around to see Dempsey.

"Uh... Dempsey are you alright," Richtofen said

"Yeah, you stopped moving," Nikolai said

"What's been bothering you," Takeo said

Dempsey took a few seconds of silence until he spoke.

"Richtofen. Can I talk to you about something? ALONE?" Dempsey said all nervus

Richtofen took a few seconds thinking if he wants to talk to Dempsey along until he thought of it.

"You guys go, we'll catch up with you all later," Richtofen said

The two nodded and continued to walk down the halls.

Dempsey and Richtofen went looking for a spot to talk. They found a spot and Richtofen was still wondering what's bothering Dempsey.

"So. What do you want to talk about?" Richtofen said wondering what Dempsey would say.

"Something was in my head that's bothering me," Dempsey said.

"Then what's bothering you?" Richtofen said.

"It's this girl," Dempsey said, "I think I have a crush on her."

"Oh, and who is this girl you said?" Richtofen said curiously to hear Dempsey what's bothering him.

"S-Sunny Flare," Dempsey said very nervous.

Richtofen was shocked what the girl he was thinking of.

"Do you have a crush on her?" Richtofen said

"Y-yeah I do have a c-crush on h-her," Dempsey said

"So that what's been bothering you," Richtofen said

Dempsey nodded.

"Wow, I don't know what to say," Richtofen said

"Don't and please, keep this between us okay," Dempsey said "I just want to tell her yet, only at the right time, but this is not the time yet so please keep this a secret,"

Richtofen sighed and said, "Okay, we'll keep this between us."

"Thanks," Dempsey said.

Dempsey and Richtofen went off to find Nikolai and Takeo.

Sunny and her friends are walking down the halls until Sunny froze making her friends turn around and stop. Something is bothering her and they don't know why.

"Are you okay?" Sweet Sour said

"Is something bothering you?" Sugarcoat said

"If something's bothering you then tell us," Lemon Zest said

Sunny took a while if they want to tell them her crush "Dempsey" or not, but she had to tell only to Indigo Zap

"Um, Indigo. C-can I talk to you along?" Sunny said

Indigo sighed and said "Alright," Indigo turned to her friends and said "We'll catch up with you girls later,"

They nodded and continued to walk down the halls.

Sunny and Indigo were finding a private place to tell Indigo her crush. Dempsey. She was so nervous that she's going to tell her so she took a deep breath. After they found a place they turned to face each other.

"So, what's been bothering you?" Indigo said curiously to hear her response.

"I... I... I h-have a c-crush on a guy," Sunny said. She was really nervous about what she's going to tell.

"Oh. Well, who is this guy that you have a crush on?" Indigo said with a smirk

"T-Tank D-Dempsey," Sunny said blushing really hard that you can make something with a frying pan.

Indigo's smirk went from that to total shock of what she'd just said.

"W-what, you have a crush on him?" Indigo said

Sunny nodded.

"Wow. I... I don't what to say," Indigo said still shocked at who she has a crush on.

"Don't," Sunny said "And would you PLEASE keep this a secret. I don't want this to spread. Dempsey would find out," Sunny said panicking

"Okay Okay, Sunny, just calm down," Indigo said "We'll keep this between us,"

"Thanks," Sunny said

"Don't mention it," Indigo said

"We should get moving," Sunny said

"Yeah, you're right," Indigo said

Sunny and Indigo went to the cafeteria for lunch. Indigo still couldn't believe that Sunny has a crush on Dempsey.

"Wait til Richtofen hears this. He's not going to believe it," Indigo thought in her head

The origins characters were finding a place to sit except for Richtofen. Richtofen is looking for Indigo Zap to tell her that Dempsey has a crush on Sunny.

Sunny and her friends were also finding a place to sit except for Indigo. Indigo is also looking for Richtofen to tell him that Sunny Flare has a crush on Dempsey.

Until they met up with each other.

"C'mon, I've got something to tell you," Richtofen said

"Me too," Indigo said

They both nodded and went to find a place to tell each other that Dempsey and Sunny Flare that they have a crush on each other. Once they did, they started talking.

"So I've talked to Dempsey about what's been bothering him," Richtofen said

"I've also talked to Sunny Flare of what's bothering her too," Indigo said

"Dempsey told me that he has a crush on someone," Richtofen said

"Sunny also told me that she has a crush on someone as well," Indigo said

"Well let's hear the names," Richtofen said

"You want to do it at the same time?" Indigo said

"Sure on three. One, two three," Richtofen said

"Dempsey/Sunny Flare," They both said at the same time

When they said the names they immediately went in total shock.

"Oh. My. God," Richtofen said

"I can't believe it," Indigo said "They both have a crush on each other,"

"Yeah. I thought Dempsey only has a crush on her but this is unexpected," Richtofen said

"I think it's best if we keep this between us," Indigo said

"Yeah you're right," Richtofen said "We don't want them figuring THAT out,"

Indigo nodded and they went back inside the cafeteria.

After that, they went inside they went to find their seats until they find Dempsey and the others with Sunny Flare, her friends, Sunset, Coppermane, and their friends sitting together. So they joined in.

After they joined the others, Richtofen can see Sunset depressed.

"Sunset are you okay?" Richtofen said

Sunset looked up and see Richtofen and said, "Oh uh, yeah... I... I'm a-alright. Why wouldn't I be,"

"To us, you don't look okay," Dempsey said

"Yeah," Everyone else said

"I said I'm fine," Sunset said

"Sunset, something bothering to you," Nikolai said

Sunset said "N-no, n-nothing's b-bothering..." Sunset sighed and then said "No I'm not alright,"

"Then what's bothering you?" Sunny Flare said

Sunset sighed and said "I think it's time to talk about the thing that me, the girls, and Coppermane we have to keep,"

"WHAT!" The girls and Coppermane said

"What about the secret we talked about?" Pinkie Pie said

"I can't take it anymore," Sunset said "I have to say it to someone new. I can't keep it any longer,"

The girls and Coppermane sighed. They knew she was right.

"She's right," Rarity said "We can't keep secrets to our own friends,"

"Well, looks like she going to tell everything why it's bothering her," Twilight said

"Good," Dempsey said "I was starting to get worried if she's going to be alright,"

Everyone got comfortable before Sunset told them what's bothering her.

"Alright. What's been bothering you," Richtofen said curiously

"It's this boy I met after being defeated by Pony Twilight and our friends," Sunset said

"Pony Twilight?" Dempsey said

"It's another version of me, but instead of her being human, she's a pony," Twilight said

"Oh, well continue then," Dempsey said

"And who is this boy you speak of?" Takeo said

"His name is Anthony," Sunset said "He was the only student who cared about me when I got defeated,"

"Oh this is going to be good," Dempsey said

"It all started 2 days after my defeat," Sunset said
