“I swear one of these days you guys are gonna give a bloody heart attack you know that” said matrix as he picked himself of the floor after pinkie’s grand entrance with every pony in the room laughing at him…..again
“Well bollocks, I’m gonna have to get changed now” he said as he looked down at his clothes which we’re now stained from the tea he spilled from his reaction to pinkies mysterious entry
“I’m sorry mat but I heard you were hurt or something because I heard from someponys about what happened this morning and”- she was cut by a hoof to the mouth from twilight but still she kept talking though her voice was slightly muffled
“It’s ok pink’s, I’m fine now, no need to worry” he said, smiling as he walked to the door that lead to his room and went downstairs to get a new change of clothes, roughly five minutes later he emerged wearing a new set of clothes with the same smile still on his face and he went back over to the sofa where pinkie and rainbow were sitting, he sat down and put his arms behind his head and let out a calm sigh.
Celestia sat there next to her sister, sipping her tea and thinking about how matrix could have gained the ability of magic and odd the way he could use it, she looked around at the ponies and human in the room then her gaze fell upon an object on the other side of the room, it was a guitar, a thought came to her head ‘since when did twilight play an instrument’ she questioned herself so she asked twilight
“You never told me you played the guitar my dear student”
"Oh I don’t princess, that guitar is matrixes and might I tell you he is a really good player”
“Is this true matrix” asked celestia as she turned to face him
“Why yes erm…..Tia, that is correct and now I’m guessing you would like me to play something as well”
“If that is ok with you then yes, I would, and I’m sure my sister would like to hear you play as well, am I right Luna?
“I would be delighted to hear some music from your world” replied the night princess
“Well its ok with me now could somepony pass me my guitar and my bag please” he asked then celestia floated over his guitar while dash flew of the sofa and brought over his bag and put it down next to his feet then muzzled his cheek without any pony else noticing and then sat back down, matrix then pulled out his laptop from his bag and went straight to his music looking for a song to play.
after two minutes of continues scrolling he found the song ‘perfect’ he thought he then went to the different version of the song for the backing track to it so he could play the guitar part, he had backing tracks for most of the songs he could play as well as a special soft wear where he could edit any song To fit his needs
“ok I think you might like this one, it’s called ‘soul sister’ by a band called train” he said before picking up the guitar, Quickly making sure it was tune and then turned up the laptop volume to full and pressed the play button.

As he played the final chord he was met with an applause that was louder than it should have been that was until he looked around and saw the rest of the gang where there and they were all applauding him, he smiled then put down his guitar
“Thanks guys it was nothing really” he said quite embarrassed
“Oh that was not nothing, that was probably the best music I have ever heard” rarity chimed in
A’h agree with rar here, that was real somthin” said applejack
"You really think so guys” he asked, they all nodded
“Thanks guys, well I don’t know about you but I feel the need for another flight session, rainbow you feeling up for it”
“I sure am” she said as she hovered up to him
“Well then let me get ready” he said but was stopped by a question from Luna
“Excuse me erm matrix but you said ‘flight session’ how can you fly when you clearly do not own wings?”
“Yeah what the princess said” spoke silver
“Have you forgotten how I got here in the first place Luna?” he replied that’s when she remembered the giant metal they found him lying next to when he crashed outside of the town
“Oh…….right, forgive me it must have slipped my mind but now I’m curious as to how your kind has the ability to fly without magic or wings?”
“well my dear princess if you allow me to have five minutes to prepare myself then I shall be delighted to show you, show all of you in fact” he said in his best British accent earning a few laughs from the group before walking back down to his room to get his suit and helmet, a couple minutes later he emerged from his room dressed In his flight suit with helmet in one hand and some other objects in the other.
“Erm what have you got there matrix? Twilight asked
“What I have here my dear friend is a CB radio which is what we humans can use to talk to each from long distances and this is a wireless radio headset which you can again use to talk to other people from long distances but without having to use your hands since it simply sits on your head, here twilight you take this radio while dash takes the headset, hey dash come over here for a sec”
She jumps up at the mention of her name hovers over to him
“Yes mat, what did ya need”
“Here let me put this on”
“Erm ok” she said then let him put on the headset and the right radio channel as well.
“There now you’ll be able to speak to me and twilight when were in the air now”
“Really, that’s awesome”
“Now twilight, you take this radio and turn the dial until it says number five then you’re on the right channel ok”
“Got it, I think” said twilight as she took hold of the radio in her magic
“Ok everpony follow me but Tia, Luna, could you wait at the front of the library while the rest of the gang follow me”
“As you wish matrix” said Celestia as she looked at her sister in confusion who returned the same look then they both walked outside to the front of the library
“Great ok now the rest of you follow me” he said as he grabbed his iPod before walking out the front door then turned right with the mane 6 and silver in tow, when they finally reached his jet silver let out a whistle of amazement
“Damn that is some machine, how fast can it go?” he asked
“From what I can remember this F-35 lightning II which is what this type of jet is can go up to Mach 1.6 and over which is around 1600 miles per hour” replied matrix
Silvers mouth dropped open wide as well as the others in disbelief that this massive metal machine could even reach such speeds
“You’re kidding right, nothing organic can reach that speed except rainbow dash when she performs the sonic rainboom but even that is a rare occurrence” said twilight, trying to defeat him with knowledge
“Well twilight if you haven’t noticed but this jet is not ‘organic’ it is a machine made with science and highly advanced technology that allows it to break such speeds as well as the sounds barrier and this jet is just one of the many hundreds of different types that can go over Mach 1”
She looked at him quizzically but let out a sigh of defeat
“Ok matrix I believe you but what did you need us for?”
"Well I wanted to show you all me actually flying in the jet because I doubt you all actually saw me flying the other day and also twi do you think you could perform that spell where you can make ponies and objects float on clouds on the jet and me, it could come in handy for later”
“Sure and this time the spell should be permanent because I’ve researched the spell a lot more since last time when we were in cloudsdale “ she said putting down the radio before flaring up her magic, engulfing me and the jet which was mow encased in a purple glow, she finished working on the jet then started performing the spell on me but something felt odd, her horn was getting brighter and to the point where it was almost a white light then suddenly I was sent flying backwards into the side of the jets nose and onto the floor.
“Ow………..well did it work” he said while rubbing his head with his hand
“I think so but I wasn’t expecting that to happen”
“Well I’m sure it was nothing, now what was I going to do………oh yeah that” He said as he got up and walked up the nose where the big piece of cloth was still attached to it
“Strange? Why do I feel this weird tingly feeling in my back, heh just ignore it” he thought to himself as he reached for the tarp
“What you got under there matrix” asked applejack curiously
“Damn, well you caught me, I guess there’s no hiding it now” he said before pulling back the tarp revealing the picture on the jet

Silence was all that could be heard from the group as they looked at the picture that was on the side of the aircraft, matrix could have sworn he could see a tear welling up on rainbows face then smiles began appearing on each of their faces and they turned their gaze towards matrix who was trying to hide a small blush on his face
“Wow matrix you drew that!” exclaimed twilight this only made mat blush more
“So……..how long have you had a crush on our dear friend rainbow dash then hmmm?” said rarity with a devilish face
“………………..”
“You might as well just admit it”
*sigh* “should we tell’em dash”
They all looked at her while she looked at him; she was a little hesitant at first then nodded
“Well I guess I better explain then, me and dash are……..”
“Marefriend and coltfriend” exclaimed rarity
“Got it one” he replied
“I knew it, I knew it all along” she shouted out
“Jeez keep it down rarity we don’t want the whole town to know*sigh* look me and dash will explain later but right now can we get back to what we were doing originally……..please”
“Oh sorry, of course darling”
“Thank you now all of ya might want to take a step back” he said as quickly put in his iPod earphones then helmet, then he climbed up into the cockpit and strapped himself in, he closed the canopy window and made sure it was shut proper then went about powering up the aircraft, when the engine came to life he did a small pre-flight check through the instruments after that he decided to check if he could speak to rainbow and twilight
“Hey rainbow, twilight can you guys hear me” he spoke down his helmets radio
“Yes we can hear you, this feels awkward but cool I guess” said rainbow down the mic
“Good you ready to go then dash”
“I’m always ready” she said mockingly
“Ok then lets show the princesses the awesomeness that we humans make” he said before pulling out his IPod and selecting a song
he put the jet into hover mode and slowly amped up the throttle until he took off from the ground, dash then took to the air and hovered beside the cockpit, he turned to nod at her, she nodded back then he banked the jet to the left and slowly moved forward to hover round to the front of the library where the princesses where awaiting with the main six and silver in tow on the ground.

Luna suddenly heard a high pitch whining sound coming from behind her, she could not see where it was coming from but it was getting louder and louder, she looked back to her sister who also had the same look of confusion on her face……that is until they both above them, what they were seeing was the same metal bird when matrix had crashed here, hovering roughly twenty metres above their heads
their mouths dropped open seeing the giant flying machine hovering effortlessly above them, they then noticed who was flying it, it was mat, he waved to them they hesitantly waved a hoof back as he turned the jet back around and began flying forward with rainbow dash flying close behind at speeds that would be considered lethal.

“Come on dash try to keep up” said mat done the mic as he banked sharply to the left, rainbow overshot him but was quickly advancing on his tail, they had gone from flying together into a game of cat and mouse with mat being the mouse
‘Man I haven’t had a flight session as awesome as this in ages’ mat thought to himself'
“I’ll get you yet” replied rainbow through her headset a little too eagerly
“well then I think it’s time to go into after burners” said mat as he put the throttle into overdrive instantly breaking the sound barrier making a loud BOOM sound above the town, leaving rainbow in his jet wash
“Oh no you don’t” dash said to herself as she immediately began picking up speed, in two minutes she had caught up with him but exhaustion was starting to take its toll on her but she wasn’t going to give up that easy, she was almost eye level with him in the cockpit but he pulled into an inverted dive straight downwards the town
“I thinks it to buzz the tower” he said out loud as he caught a glimpse of the library, he pulled up and a turned around to fly past it, where the princesses and the mane 6 where, he got a close as he dared go and tilted the plane sideways so he could see the ground, then time seemed to slow as he passed the library with the princesses and the girls plus silver where sitting at high speed but in slow motion, once he passed the tree house he pulled directly upwards with rainbow still in pursuit

The princesses and the girls were watching the two dance around the sky, chasing each other like birds, pinkie was making ‘ooh’ ‘aah’ sounds as they both pulled highly advanced manoeuvres and pointed occasionally, they could both here them both through the radio that twilight was holding
“oh no you don’t” came rainbows voice from the radio as the matrix speed away from her in the sky high above, they saw catch up after a short while then mat suddenly dropped downwards with rainbow in hot pursuit
“I think it’s time to buzz the tower said mat through the radio as the saw him pull up from the steep dive
“What do you think he meant by that” asked rarity
“I have now Idea but I think it may be that” replied twilight as she instantly dropped down onto her hooves
“twilight what are-ZOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMM!” rarity was cut off as matrix flew directly overhead only two metres of the ground and at the speed he was flying it was enough to knock anypony standing near onto the floor with rainbow flying mere seconds behind leaving her signature rainbow streak .
rarity regained her composure but something felt of, then she heard giggling coming from behind her, she looked around and saw that the rest of the girls silver and even the princesses were giggling, at her, she quickly magicked up a mirror from out of now where and looked into and a small crack appeared on the corner of it, as she looked into her reflection, shock then anger flashed across her face, her mane was an absolute mess
“MATRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX!” she shouted at the top of her lungs would let her and at this point everypony was rolling on the floor or trying to stop themselves laughing,

Meanwhile, matrix was climbing higher into the air when he heard his name being shouted down the radio
“oh I am royally fucked when I get on the ground he” said to himself letting out a small laugh as he levelled out and rounded the town again still with rainbow on his tail.
well hey guys RM here sorry about the long wait but you know writers block and all and getting caught up on gaming like skyrim and ghost recon future soldier (really good games btw) any way new chapter to feed your hungry eyes hope it was good enough any mistakes feel free to point em out (pre readers are offline and mum is asking for the pc back........yes i use my mother pc to write my story but what can ya do anyway new chapter enjoy RM laterz
