"Sooo Want me to help?" I asked "I'm a pretty good chef after all." I boasted while grabbing a ladle and using it as a sword or something.
Dash laughed and glanced back at the pot and grabbed the ladle from my hands and started stirring whatever's in the pot.
"Sure why not." She said smiling softly at me and continued to stir the pot
"So what do you want me to do?" I asked her smiling
"I guess you can start seasoning the meat I set aside a while ago." She told me pointing to the side of the kitchen where a plastic bowl sat.
"Aye Aye Ma'am!" I said with a salute and a wink smirking at her making Dash laugh. "Love ya Dashie." I said smiling
"Love you to pie-boy." She responded "So your probably wondering what we're cooking?" She asked me
"Yeah Dash what re we cooking?" I asked her washing my hands in the sink.
"We are making Lasagna." She announced "It was supposed to be a surprised but since your soo stubborn" She said and I could almost see her smirking and rolling her eyes.
"Yeah but you still love me bae." I said,bumping my hip with hers making her giggle.
"Yeah,no matter how adorably goofy you are" She said pinching my cheek making me groan in annoyance.
"Stop it Rainbow." I said in my 'You-better-listen-missy-or-you're-gonna-be- in-big-trouble' voice and she just stuck her tongue out and continued doing whatever she was doing as I went to season the meat as requested.
"Your toooo damn adorable Dash even your own good." I said softly with a smile as I got the salt,pepper and began seasoning the meat in front of me. I began to sprinkle a pinch or two of both salt and pepper unlike someone *looks at the the author with a smirk*

"Hey don't blame me
" I said to her with a smirk "You know that is procedure number one if your working with meat Ms.Author." I added pounding the meat with my fist.THAT WAS ONLY ONE TIME

"And to think you went to a cooking school for the summer and yet forget of the most important procedure
" I tisked at her shaking my head.You know you can save yourself some energy if you use a meat mallet right?
I thought for a second and I nodded "Yeah thanks" I said smiling

I chuckle softly and shook my head "Dash, Do you have a meat mallet? I asked her. But she didn't respond "Dash?" I repeated her name,still no response. I turned around to see Dash just absentmindedly stirring the pot,then she suddenly stopped and released a sigh.
"Dash are you ok?" I asked worriedly and went over to her and hugged her from behind,making Dash jump slightly. "What? Were you asking me something." She asked me bushing slightly
I chuckled slightly and asked "Do you have a meat mallet?"
"Yeah right there in the cabinet." She said,pointing to the said cabinet
"Yeah sure thanks" I said giving her a peck on the cheek making her blush slightly.
I went to said cabinet and grabbed what I needed
"Sooo Dash where did you learn how to sing and cook?" I asked pounding the meat tenderizing it slightly
"Well,I learned how to sing with my time as lead singer of 'The Rainbooms' and.... I learned to cook when I was younger when...when..." She hesitated and I stopped doing what I was doing and looked at Dash who was about to cry.
I ran to her and embraced her tightly. "It's ok Dash, it's ok" I whispered soothingly.

I stopped day dreaming when I smelt something burning. I looked over to the stove and saw my last piece of pancake burning.
"HOLY FUCK!!!" I yelled quickly turning the stove off and taking the pan off the stove.
I sighed sadly and shook my head
"I'm such an idiot." I mumbled to myself and I could hear someone chuckling?
I turned around to see no one-wait I see Dash.
