Later that night I was curled up in a ball on my bed when the dreams filed in I could see everyone's dreams as if I was meant to monitor them.
“Welcome to the dreamworld my daughter I see you found your way here alright.” said a voice
“Mother I should have known, but why am I here in your dream realm when I am no dream walker like you.” I spat back
“That's where you are wrong I didn't call you here in fact I would have been happy with us taking a break from each other but as fate has it you are developing my powers the one thing your father could never harness dream walking.”
Then we heard well actually it was more of a feeling someone's scream I recognized it instantly and went towards the source it was Fluttershy's nightmare.
The nightmare was about me her house was burning the animals had stains of crimson blood on them as they were slowly bleeding out Fluttershy herself had quite a few injuries and a demented version of me was standing in the middle of it instinctively I destroyed that version of me and changed the scenery so that it was a picnic with her friends and animals instead.
“Well done little one although you could of left it alone like your father would have you changed it to a calming scene.” Luna said
“She needs to learn not to fear me no one should fear me for what I have inherited only what I have done with this curse."
“That's where your opinion differs from others for some would say your powers are more of a blessing than a curse.”
With that the dream ended as I regained consciousness, slowly blinking I noticed that Fluttershy was making something on the stove from the aroma that filled the cottage it smelled of pancakes.
‘I haven't had pancakes in awhile’ I thought to myself in fact it's been a few years
I rushed down stairs into the dinning room passing by the many animals that reside here including one annoying rabbit named Angel.
“Oh you're up I was about to go wake you” said Fluttershy.
“Yeah I usually will wake myself up if my body has regained the energy expended during the previous day usually I would be up earlier but I expended a lot of chaos magic yesterday trying to fend off timber wolves.” I responded
“You didn't tell me,you were attacked by timber wolves yesterday when did that happen?” she inquired
“When I regained consciousness after being blasted by your friends beam of harmony.”
“Sorry about that next time we'll try not to hit you.” she apologized
“It's okay I get it i'm full of chaos magic that is uncontrollable at times if I was you I would've blasted me as well.”
“Anyway you wouldn't happen to have a copy of your birth certificate would I mean it's alright if you don't but it would be helpful for the adoption process if you want to go to school?” she questioned as she set down a plate for me.
“I can summon one but it'll have to be a fake my real one is locked in the restricted section of the archives and ponies wouldn't like to know I'm the daughter of Discord.” I rebuttal
“That's fine as long as you make it believable not like pony Joe from Manehattan.”
“ Trust me it'll be very believable.”
“ If you're sure about this after I receive that from you we'll need to go the town hall if you want to come with me I mean”
“Sure I should get out and see the town after all I'm going to be residing here for awhile just let me get that birth certificate for you and we'll be on our way”. With that a paper appeared in the air as words flooded onto it I quickly changed my body into that of a Pegasus.
“Finished” I said just as the certificate rolled itself and was neatly sealed so it looked like an authentic document.
We left the small cottage a few minutes later. That's when I decided to give my new wings a try at first they were stiff but after a few minutes I was fluttering them fast enough to get some air. It was a slow process and energy consumption was at a maximum when I was trying to decrease it to a minimum but I was flying in an inconspicuous way.
I decided to dematerialize my beanie so that the air resistance wouldn't be to bad.
“Having fun up there?” questioned Fluttershy.
“Yeah flying is awesome the wind in your feathers feels to good to be true what I don't get is why you don't join me.” I answered.
“I guess I just forget that I can fly sometimes after all most of the animals I take care of are land bound I barely take care of animals that can fly anymore because most animals are land bound and if I do take care of an animal that can fly they usually have a broken wing anyhow.” Fluttershy said as she lifted herself off the ground.
We flew the rest of the way to the town hall I practiced loops flips and dives.
As we reached the town hall I landed in a bush and transformed back into an earth pony. I walked back up to Fluttershy a few seconds later as we walked into the town hall I heard a voice call from behind.
“Hey short stuff you want to race.”
