"As the glowing sphere of honey slowly goes behind it's layers of forest blankets and the radiant sphere of milk slowly rises, and the way it lets everyone know it's arrival, it sends witches and ghouls out to play with the vampires and zombies. The creatures of the night will soon all stop at one cottage, and at this cottage lived some fillies and young colts. They licked they're mouths with delight, they slowly start to approach the young ones, and then~" the young ones all hold their breath, only looking at me, and then, they get attacked! Not from a witch, ghoul, vampire, or zombie, but Doc dressed as a vampire; Galaxy dressed as a zombie; and Crystal dressed as a witch.
But they didn't know that, they quickly ran under my wings as I extended them and I kept them close. A few were shaking and others were trying to grasp onto braveness to confront the creatures. I smile at them and whisper, "You didn't let me finish them story.." They look up at me with shock and wonder. "As the creatures went in for the easy meal, a brave pony, which all creatures of the night feared, whom has never been named, watched the creatures and stop them from hurting the fillies and young colts in distress!"
They all gaze at me in aw, and then Apple Bloom gets out from under my wing and stands right in front of the three creatures. Which actually surprised me because, well, Apple Bloom wasn't part of the act.
"Get out of' here you creatures! You aren't allowed to hur't my' friends!" She starts to take a charge, and wisely the three fled. The little ones finally came from under my wings and celebrated Apple Bloom's accomplishment, as they all cheer I quickly slide their candy baskets to them, they were refilled with fresh candy and secretly a few bits. They all gave me quick hugs and ran out of the cottage with the biggest smiles. When I see they're all gone, I start to laugh a lot, mainly because I couldn't laugh when they were here.
"Oh my Celestia! Did you see their faces!" I roll on the ground in laughter and my three actors came out of hiding and joined in my outburst of happiness. I then make eye contact with my costume. I slowly get up and still giggling to my self and go put it on. It looks just like the one I had when I was a filly...or at least it was suppose to, I've out grown it since the last time I sported it around PonyVille. All I can wear from my old costume is it's bunny ears and steampunk goggles. So, to go with my goggles, I quickly requested a steampunk outfit from Rarity and v'wala, steampunk bunny! As I put on my masterpiece, I hear a scream,
"CHANGELING!" Some other ponies scream as well as I walk out to see if their actually was one. Sure enough, there was a changeling dressed as a witch. It suddenly turns to me and approaches me creepily, I stand my ground as it gets face to face with me. It suddenly smiles and throw at me a piece of paper, I guess it found out I was part of the art club Devianence? I scan the paper as it has a bunch of my art on it and then my drawings are being related to some comic..
"You're SoulMelodyxX!! That's your name on Devianence!!" Every pony still stares a bit shocked and I stand surprised the voice of the changeling was a girls. She prances around acting all happy,
"Y-Yah, that's the name...I'm guessing you're a fan..?" She stops in her tracks,
"In a way yes, but you don't even know my name so I can't be a real fan till you know my actual name!"
"Okay, what's your-"
"My name's Rose, Rose the changeling," she puts out her hoof so we end up shaking hoofs, "big fan, really I am, but I didn't know you lived in PonyVille!" I smile nervously and nod my head very slowly,
"Yup! You found me! Now can I-" Rose pulls out a piece of parchment and starts writing vigorously. "What are you doing...?"
"Telling everypony about my adventures and how I met you!" I look confused at her and she notices fairly quickly, "I write a newspaper about my feelings and what's happening with awesome ponies like you! You're gonna be on the front page! Smile!"
"Huh?!" Without notice a flash of light appears leaving me dazed and a bit dizzy.
"Oooo, perfect!" Rose puts the picture in with the letter and sends it off to somewhere. She quickly hugs me and disappears into the night. After becoming aware of my surroundings again, I've come to realize I'm sitting on the ground. Doc helps me up and pulls me out of public view,
"You okay? Did she do something to you?" I shake my head with a confused look,
"No, I'm fine, really."
"Are you sure?" He looks concerned,
"I'm sure." I smile and kiss his cheek as I regain my ability to walk by myself. "I just didn't know I had a fan...well, I know I have them, I just didn't know one of them was a changeling." He laughs,
"Well of course you didn't love, okay, so let's get candy hopping, shall we?" He gives me his hoof and I gladly accept it.
