Before I tell you the story let me introduce myself, my name is The Portal Passer, but it can technically be anything, some call me The Presence, others call me The One-Above-All, there's also people who call me The God of Heroes, sometimes I even just disguise myself as a mere soldier or some sort just to get in on the action (my favorite event where I did this, the final battle against Mordor). You see, I was born in the first reality in all of existence, to serve as some sort of guardian, or Entity of Good as I like to call it.
My job is to make sure the the Multiverse is safe by giving each world a hero, what I do is creating certain events that will set the life of someone I deemed worthy into the path of becoming a hero or create events that will aid heroes in their more difficult times, oh, and I can't create negative events, so I didn't cause the death of Bruce Wayne's parents! so if you're wondering if someone actually planed the Mane Six to find the elements, then you know the answer. Most dimensions doesn't even know I exist. My job also includes sending people or objects that have strayed to far from their multiverse cluster (I'll explain later) back to their home dimension. Oh, and I'm not really an all powerful god, that's only in some dimensions, my weakness is that I'm completely blind to anything evil, I can only sense them when they're near, but things disappear out of my sight when it turns evil, that's how I track things down.
If you ask me "who created the multiverse?" well frankly, I don't know, when I came to life the instructions of What I should were already within my mind. Well now I should explain what a multiverse cluster is; what you call a multiverse is actually a cluster of infinite numbers of universes within an infinite void filled with infinite numbers of these clusters, you cannot travel further than your multiverse cluster, if you do, it is my job to return you to your original universe.
Well that's enough about my biography, now I believe I still owe you a story.
500 thousand years ago, long before the Nightmare Moon incident and, especially, the Windigo event, the first Alicorn emerge, many know her now as Faust, a mere legend, but, like what the opening narrator from the Marvel Ghost Rider movie said, the thing about legends is that sometime they're real. she became an alicorn thanks to the new type magic she just discovered, Harmony magic! She discovered it while she was trying to find a way solve the problems that have been plaguing the Unicorn Kingdom, through magic. The kingdom have been plague with hate, mistrust, rebellions, and other things you would expect from a falling kingdom. She found that good intentions creates some sort of magic, when she tried to use this magic she discovered what it is, Harmony magic, and thus, it turned her into an Alicorn. The magic gave her great wisdom, like how the magic of the living lightning gave Scootaloo great wisdom every time she transform, she realize that she needed to spread the magic all over the Unicorn Kingdom.
Naturally they feared her when she first emerge, but as time went on they excepted her and she was finally able to save the kingdom, and everyone thank her, even the current ruler of the Unicorn Kingdom, Princess Silver Shine, praised her for what she did. After that event she decided to spread her magic to the other 11 tribes that surrounded the kingdom.
News traveled fast, and before long, all 11 tribes have heard about what everyone, or everypony, calls the Alicorn and her Magic of Harmony. Oh, and if your wondering who the 12 tribes are, they're the 12 major tribes that coexist within Equestria at that time, even though they only interact for trading. most of them are not that common in Equestria anymore due to the events that led to the Windigo event, here's the list: Unicorns, Pegasi, Earth Ponies, Crystal Ponies, Sea Ponies, Desert Ponies or Saddle Arabian Ponies, Dragons, Griffins, Minotaurs, Zebras, Buffaloes, and Thestrals. Faust ask the leaders of the 12 tribes to a meeting to decide if they would agree to make an alliance. she showed what Harmony magic can achieve, by spreading some of her magic to them and across each of their domain, and soon, everyone in the meeting agreed to the idea, so they made the alliance.
Normally you would think the next line would be "and they live happily ever after", but sadly, fate had other plans, even though all the tribes are more than ready to fight back.
deep within a cave in The Frozen North, before the crystal ponies colonized it, lived a terrifying beast. A beast foreign to Equestria, for it did not came from this realm, it came from the realm ruled by the Umbrum. This creature was stronger than Tirek, darker than Sombra, and so Evil that even the Umbrum themselves feared him, he was called... the Shadow Beast, he does not have a true form, for his truest form is a cloud of shadows with yellow piercing cat-like eyes, he is a shapeshifter that, when one looks at him, takes the form of the creature that they feared most, and when they look into his eyes, they will see their worst nightmare, a nightmare that's far worst than what they can even imagine. Hundreds of years ago, this Shadow Beast traveled from it's original realm to Equestria when he discovered it, and planed to turned it into his new feeding grounds, for he feeds on dark magic that emanates from negative sins, and the more he feeds, the more powerful he becomes.
He found that the magic that emanates from Hate, Betrayal, and Greed are the most powerful, and that when taken from a source of light magic turned evil, it is even more powerful, he discovered Disharmony magic.
But, when he traveled to Equestria, his power vanishes, this is because the amount of light magic in Equestria was so great, it overwhelmed his Disharmony magic. He would have faded away with his powers, if it wasn't for the dislikes the 12 tribes had for each other, and when the Unicorn Kingdom started to fall, it restored some of his power. But When Faust spread her Harmony magic, his food source dwindled. But he had gathered enough power to plan his attack on Equestria.
I would love to continue, but sadly it appears that Sweetie Belle has switched from being a Blue lantern into becoming a Red Lantern, that Probably has something to do with Spike's disappearance... I should probably do something before she ends up like Razer, hey... that gives me an idea! I'll see you later.
