Villain Critique: Count Bleck from Super Paper Mario

Hey, everyone. I know I've been extremely absent from this and I'm sorry for that, but after making some choices on which villain to critique next, I've decided that first and second choices will be done on possibly the same day since they're from the same medium. Again, sorry for taking so long.

Anyway, let's go over the rules:

1. First, if you haven't seen, read, played, or heard of any of these villains and/or the media that they appear in, there will be spoilers. You have been warned. Also, keep in mind that I haven't seen, heard of, and/or known a lot about every villain out there, so if you have a villain that you want to show me and I haven't known about him or her yet, please be sure to lend me some information through either reply or via PM.
2. Second, This is all just my personal opinion and you don't have to agree with me if you don't want to. Just please be nice, constructive, and considerate, especially when telling me why you disagree in the comments down below or via PM.
3. And finally, I don't just do movie or cartoon villains. I also do villains from video games, comics, television, and even fan-made, popular OCs.

Okay, now let's start this diabolical twosome with one of our most tragic video game nihilists ever, Count Bleck:

Though I've never played Super Paper Mario before (due to reasons besides not being able to buy it), I have seen the storyline for it. It was a very good story, despite how dark it was, mostly because of the two main antagonists of the game. One of them being Count Bleck and the other one being another villain that will be getting his own review. But first, let's talk about Count Bleck and why he's not only a good villain, but a good sympathetic one, too.

1. Design: In my opinion, Count Bleck is one of the best examples of simple, yet effective in terms of character design. He has this refined, yet dastardly look that's similar to Count Dracula and really matches his personality very well. I especially love the smooth gradient on his cape. It really is a unique design choice for a character as nihilistic and tragic as him.
2. Personality: Despite being a nihilistic villain who's out to destroy literally all of existence, what sets him apart from other villains is that he's not doing it out of power or conquest, but out of grief and loss of love after what happened to his loved one. Not only that, but he's also a very rare villain who treats his minions with respect and genuine care for their well-being, even allowing them to leave if they don't want to participate in his plans as well as never truly punishing them for their failures. For a very destructive villain, he's not so bad once you get to know him.
3. Backstory: Now here's the part that shows why he's really tragic and complicated. He wasn't always an insane villain bent on destruction. In fact, he didn't even have the same name. His real name was Lord Blumiere, a kind-hearted, all-loving member of the Tribe of Darkness who fell in love with a beautiful woman named Timpani after being saved and nursed by her back to health. But then, his abusive, prejudice, unnamed father banished her to travel through every dimension until her death before they got married, causing Blumiere to be stricken with grief and try to find her, but never succeeded. Deciding to get revenge on his father, he turned to the sole book that the tribe was protecting: The Dark Prognosticus. Unfortunately, it corrupted him and made him decide to not just kill his own father and tribe, but also get revenge on literally everything that took his loved one away from him by taking all of existence, including himself, to the afterlife due to thinking that life is meaningless without her, completely unaware that she is still alive in the form of a Pixl butterfly named Tippi. He also saved and recruited most of his minions (except for the one who joined him willingly for his own reasons), showing that he still has good in him left even after being corrupted.
4. Abilities: Count Bleck is a very powerful figure. He's able to create small black holes, slow down time, warp reality (to a lesser extent than the next entry), create shields, etc. All with the help of the Dark Heart and the Dark Prognosticus by his side. A really cool set of powers at his disposal.
5. Weaknesses: However, he's not infallible as he can be weakened by the opposite of the Dark Heart: The Pure Hearts. He can also be damaged by simply jumping on his head like other villains in the game and series.
6. Character Development: He starts the story as a menacing and destructive villain with origins unknown who forces Peach to marry Bowser in hopes of created to the powerful void to destroy everything. But as the game progresses, we get to see more of his character and past as well as his relationships and feelings towards Tippi, his minions, and his doubts on his actions. After realizing that his loved one is still alive and begging him to stop his plans, he begins to feel remorse for his actions, but thinks that he's gone too far to stop and must be killed by the heroes in order to end his terrible actions. But after being defeated and given a second chance, one of his minions betrays him and uses the void for his own selfish, eviler, and more psychotic purposes. In an effort to set things right, Count Bleck sacrifices himself by marrying Tippi and recreating the Pure Hearts to help the heroes save everything from his former minion. Now with the multiverse saved, both Blumiere and Tippi live happily ever after, possibly in the afterlife together.
7. Miscellaneous: Another thing I like about Count Bleck/Lord Blumiere is his speech pattern where he speaks in a third person and talks like he's reading his own dialogue from a story book as Count Bleck, but then speaks normally as Lord Blumiere. It's very interesting and I love the uniqueness it gives him.
8. Overall: Count Bleck is the most tragic and sympathetic Mario antagonist I've ever seen so far, in contrast to the next entry from the same game. Not only that, but like the next entry, he's very interesting and memorable for all the right reasons and I love how he was written in the game as a whole. Arguably one of the best sympathetic antagonists in media history, in my opinion.
