    It's late

But my brain isn't quiet. I'm stoned out of my goddamn gourd. Don't worry, it is just my usual regimen of drugs. That's how I spent a lot of my time now. Wasted. Doesn't really help with the pain much, but makes it a bit more tolerable. All of my drugs cost over 5 grand a month. That's what it takes to keep me going. I'm in somewhat better shape because of all of it, and there's a few bright

    Cyborgification is potentially a-go

Finally found a doctor that didn't run screaming upon seeing my spine images and xrays. The team is coming together. Met with the neurosurgeon the other day, and he thinks I am an ideal candidate for augmentation. The transition is happening, I think. I still have to pass a psych evaluation and other steps, but I am closer now than ever. First I'll have the trial run; they'll sink electrodes into

    Today, life changes forever.

It's been a long, long road to get to this point. A big thank you to everyone who has been with me during this journey.

I suppose it is time for an update

Been meaning to this, and I've become the King of Pro-Crasty Nation. I kept wanting to report, but there was nothing to report, no good news at all, so I just... didn't. Sorry. Went a bit silent on my end. It just sorta happened.

I finally got a lawyer willing to take up my case. After that, things started happening.

I found a new writing tool · 4:25am Jan 24th, 2017

Give it a look. It seems that it is helpful and useful. It analyses context, which is great. I think I might give it a try to see how it does. There are a few other good links in the article for writers, so I'd suggest giving it a look.

My favorite writing tool is SelfControl (for Mac). It blocks websites and allows you to focus on writing without being distracted. For a Linux/Windows version I would recommend SelfRestraint, which is based on the same software. Technically it's not a writing tool, but a lack of distractions is paramount to creation in the moment.

That's actually the reason why I love my Chromebook for writing. It's perfect and it doesn't play games.

4394559 I should be using SelfControl right now. I keep reloading Fimfic instead of working on a short story I have in the works.

I found a site like that once before - it was able to decipher what grade level the writer is writing for.

I used it to analyze several roleplay scripts between myself and my husband. He was disappointed to learn that he writes at a 6th grade level, and I write at an 11th grade level, but the analysis tool noted that 6th-8th in grade level was best if one was reading for enjoyment. So, actually, he did much better than me! He still felt lesser, though, so I kinda regret doing the analysis :fluttercry:

Neat. might give it a try to get that one story back out and a second chance. lol
