Hey, everypony! School is officially done for the semester! And you know what that means. It’s SHOW TIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIME!! Now that summer is officially upon me, I’m going to go commit to my mega projects and turn my channel into a true force to be reckoned with in the analyst community, as well as focus on rebuilding my presence here on the site as a prolific author. They are a great team.
In terms of a favorite, I always liked Sandbar.
I respect his surfer-esc chill demeanor while not going too far out, and I relate to how he's more low energy compared to the rest of his team.
He's kind of like the anti-eccentric, which is quite amusing. The joke of his mundane life, like when his idea of a bad dream is choosing cupcake flavors, is just great.
I also appreciate how he looks up to the mane 6 (being a pony himself) much like us and especially the kids watching, which leads into my favorite trial in What Lies Beneath where he has to stan up to an illusion of Rarity, and Rainbow. I have a fondness for those kinds of stories; people that try to live up to their hero/idol/predecessor/etc where they learn to be their own hero and do things their way, even if they have to confront their heroes in order to so. I see it as a good message to not follow someone else's path blindly and make your own destiny.
