Finally finished with The Cold of Winter · 2:46pm Apr 23rd, 2014
WHEW!
I finally finished writing The Cold of Winter. Maybe it's a little bit ironic, because Springtime is now in full swing where I live. So, if you're interested, feel free to check out that story to see how it ends.
Dear sir,
I'm keeping an eye on you as your Doctor Whooves stories have my interests in mind. A alternate version of the Doctor in Equestrian History, and Planets beyond Equis.
I hope for more adventures with The Doctor (maybe with Daring?).

Phew, that's a relief!

Nah, I don't much care for tragedy and grimdark.
The worst I do usually involves a temporarily corrupted protagonist

This only leaves the question which version of Daring the Doctor will have to deal with: the canonical Daring that prefers to work alone or your Daring who doesn't mind a nice cast of supporting characters, especially Scootaround, tagging along.
Oh, please tell me you're not going to make a story of how Daring decided to work alone because of something terrible that happened to the "real" Scootaround. That would be way too sad!

The way I see it, the fictional Daring Do and the real Daring Do can be totally different characters.
I've portrayed her with a different personality than in-universe, and I've set the stories during the 30's. This can be taken as "creative license" under Daring's part, if you want. I may be firing headcanons, but I think that if I were Daring I would change the details extensively if writing stories about things I've actually done. Think more "inspired by a true story" then "based off a true story".
So if I wanted to have a Doctor Whooves/Daring Do crossover, I'd have to set it in the 2000's or 2010's.
Unless they were in the Land of Fiction (actual Doctor Who concept) of course... which might be more fun.
