Max works in a bar, hidden away from the views of the highly sophisticated and posh citizens of Canterlot City. Being human doesn't help improve his bar's reputation. Tabasco Grand is a young bartender who works at a quiet little bar oddly named 'Disc'. Business for him only begins once the sun goes down and when the night takes over. Mixing drinks and listening to his clients' life stories are all part of the job. Through the hard liquor and salty tears, he'll always be there to lend his clients an ear for them to bend.

But little did he know, his own story was about to unfold.

And it all started when he bumped into a young lady on his way to work. An encounter that would not only change his life completely, but would also lead him to his one true soulmate.

Before we begin, allow me to introduce myself to you, my dear reader. To be frank, I am merely a voice in your head, that person talking inside of your mind as you continue to read down this passage. I have no real name, for I do not exist. Like I've said, I am merely a voice you have created within your brain. A voice that will accompany you throughout this tale of a man named Chocolate Dick.

No, no. He does not have a literal chocolate-coated er...dick. No sir, this man's rather misleading name was bestowed upon him by the ponies of Equestria. Well, one pony, to be precise. You shall find out more about it later in the tale I am about to share with you.

Chocolate Dick, a.k.a. Adam was a man who possess great love and passion for animals. He absolutely adores them; normal, mythical, mystical, you name it. As long as the creature was categorized under the label 'Animals' he'll love it. So, as one might expect, when he was given the opportunity to go to Equestria, Adam immediately jumped on it. Besides, Equestria was an entire world filled with all sorts of animals. All waiting for Adam to learn, understand, and love.

Adam may be the eponymous main character in this tale, but what sort of tale would this be without a deuteragonist? Adam was not alone in this, no. He was with someone. A pony, by the name of Fluttershy. Their meeting was not a coincidence, but it wasn't fate that brought them together, either. Strangers at first, the two slowly find out that they are connected in more ways than one. Ways that could change their lives entirely.

So, have you gotten used to my voice yet? No? Well, my tale is about to begin. So I suggest you get comfortable. For this is a tale you won't forget any time soon. The tale...of Chocolate Dick. A human, a caretaker, and eventually...a hero.

Despite the "problem" at the last Fall Formal, the students at Canterlot High still find the annually-held event enjoyable; the Fall Formal was one of the few events that gave students the chance to properly enjoy a night of partying, dancing, and eating delicious food.

Not to mention that the event was also a good opportunity for asking someone out. For one young man in particular, his final year at Canterlot High would also mean that this was his last Fall Formal, and never has he ever asked anyone to go with him to the Fall Formal before. Because he's a pussy.

However, he firmly told himself that this year, his last year in Canterlot High, was going to be different. Determined, and with his somewhat strong resolution carved deep into his heart. The young man vowed that he would, at long last, find a girl to go with him to the Fall Formal dance. Never again would he go alone to these events any more --- single, lonely, and forgotten. The young man was sick of it all. He wants to find a date to the Fall Formal. Perhaps a date that might last longer than a single night of dancing?

Yeah, so, this story is like, based in the Equestria Girl's unvierse, so like, yeah, there you go. Also, even though there is a "sex" tag tagged on the story, rest assured, the only "sex" you'll be reading from this story is the boring kind --- no explicit content, no over-the-top ding-dongs, and no tubs and tubs of male reproductive fluids gushing all over female bodies. Just...boring sex talks from teenagers.

But what is love? What does love truly mean? You'd read about it in novels or short stories. You'd see it in movies or TV shows. You'll even hear it from your friends and family. No matter where you go, you can bet that love will be just around the corner, waiting impatiently to make its sudden appearance.

Not everyone have had the chance to experience love, though. Take the hero of this story for example: Salami B. Salami B is your everyday average high schooler. He isn't a genius, nor a strong athlete. He isn't incredibly dashing, nor a big hit with the ladies of Canterlot High. If Salami B was anything, is average.

So, being the average guy that he was, Salami B has never once stopped to think about pursuing a romantic relationship with any of the girls in his school; he just don't understand why should he be wasting his time chasing a girl, when he could use that time to focus on other things?

Besides, love was never really something Salami took an interest in; he finds it weird and mysterious, if not downright intimidating. No, Salami B would be much better off alone and single. At least, that's what he tells himself.

But, of course, like every other love story you'd probably read, his life and views on love was about to change. And it all began when he first met Sunset Shimmer.

Our story takes place in the Equestria Girl's Universe. So, yeah, you'll find that there is an unreasonable amount of humans here instead of ponies. So, if that really ain't your thing... too bad. But if it is, welcome! And I hope you'll enjoy this.

To help further improve the diplomatic relations between Earth and Equestria, a human was sent to live in Canterlot Castle; to live together in harmony with it's many servants, guards, and two princesses. This move was sure to help stabilize and strengthen the alliance between the two worlds.

There was one teeny, tiny, condition though: the human, for the duration of his stay in Canterlot Castle, has to serve one of the two princesses.

Now, if you're wondering who that human is, well look no further! I'm the human you're looking for. And who am I serving? Her name is Luna. Princess Luna. I'm already getting the feeling that this is going to go swimmingly. Unless I drown first.

This is a HiE (Humano in Equestriano). It's also a first-person fic, non-clop, and human-falling-in-love-with-royalty type fic. So, if you're not into that stuff, there's my early warning for yah. Haters aside, I hope you all will have a great time reading this.

Beef Fondue is in love with someone (at least he think he is), and he plans to let her know. But just approaching her and telling it straight to her face ain't going to leave any lasting impressions. Beef wanted it to be special. A confession so good, it would capture her heart instantly.

But Beef hasn't got a clue on what he should do. He needed advice. So, as with all difficult situations, he seeks help from his best friend, Sunset Shimmer. But will the help he is looking for be helpful?

How often do you fall in love with someone? Once a week? Twice maybe?

When you do, why did you fall in love with them? Was it because of the person's looks? Their personality, perhaps? The way they laugh when you tell them a funny joke? It could be anything, really.

For me, however, the reason why I fell in love with her is because of her music. The way she plays her musical instrument captivates me. Whenever I hear her play, it bounds me on the spot. She plays it with such feeling, with such strong emotions that you yourself can feel it.

There is more to her than just her music, too.

She plays the cello, by the way. Oh, and she's a pony.

This takes place on earth, ponies on earth, to be exact. Got the idea when watching the Piano Guys live. Hope you folks will enjoy this.

Living here in Ponyville can be tough if you're not mentally prepared. For one thing, you are surrounded by talking ponies. And the other thing? Well, living in Ponyville as a human of course! These four-legged creatures freak out every time they see me. And they call me weird?

To survive here, you need bits (Cha-Chings $). To actually get bits, you'll need a job. I must've been crazy, setting up a bakery shop right next to the already popular one, Sugar Cube Corner. But hey, a dude's gotta live, ya know?

But...business has been horrible. I can barely make any sales. Probably cause I'm a human. And I'm right next to Sugar Cube Corner. Will anypony ever come to my bakery shop? Will my shop be able to last?

I guess I'll have to wait and see.
