A drunken Trixie zaps Maud's pet rock, Boulder, into a teacup and she can't fix it. But is that the really unforgivable offense?

thank you for the entry to the contest!
I can imagine Trixie adding a regular puppet theatre routine to her shows. Probably something like

There certainly is precedent!
I agree, she might brainstorm and use a more violent Punch and Judy type of show, like the one you linked (though, Trixie's would be infused with magic!) to attract an older audience than the puppet show that Rarity bored Sweetie Belle with (in the above-linked episode).

That’s such an amazing reference.
This was a good story. Trixie and Maud having some drinks just feels…right.

very Trixie attempt to avoid responsibility, and very Maud response. i certainly would not want to face down that stare!
great elision
nice Harlan Ellison ref
oof, a great and powerful loss of friendship
and that is really fun and very Trixie, making the entire narrative into a story-within-a-story, and the way she apologizes is somehow still firmly centered around her and how she likes to do things, which is a nice touch.
oof! i mean, we all have this headcanon, but wow it sounds rude just spelling it out like that!"
a fun look at how things could have gone wrong with Trixie's teacup spell obsession in canon, thank you for it!
