Howdy. I like to write and be creative. I've done a few things, here and there. Apples seem to be a common theme.

Rarity finds it difficult to be generous to the pony who needs it most. Can these two ponies, who don't seem to have anything in common, overcome their differences?
(Originally written and posted to EqD in April 2011, could possibly be considered an 'Alternate Universe' fic due to later reveals in the show.)

:pinkiegasp::pinkiehappy: I remember this story from EQD I loved it then and loved it now :raritywink:
And anyone who hasn't read Macintosh before you in for a treat its very good. Can't wait to read it again ... no really I can't wait, TO EQD!! :yay:

Thanks for the comments, guys  It'll be a bit of work reformatting 'Macintosh' for FiMFiction, but it should be fun

This is a nice enough story and I still like it. Just add the 'Alternate Universe' tag to it and 'Macintosh' and you'll be golden.

We're all in for a treat folks.

Awwwwww I almost cried when I read about Derphy's mother. Very good story.

Feels like I'm a time traveler, haha.

Old guard! Those were the days. Back when EqD would update with maybe 1 or 2 stories a day, and they were all pretty short. I remember reading so many back then, including the now legendary Bubbles, and one about Pinkie Pie getting diabetes and dying haha. what a time.
Getting Macintosh featured there and making it into the 6 star category was really special to me.

At this point, yeah they would be considered AU stories. At the time of writing, it wasn't clear (as we only had 1 season to go off). But now, I don't know if it makes sense to change it this much later, or keep it as it is as a relic of its time :applejackconfused:

Thank you, I'm glad it was effective for you. It's quaint looking back on it now, and I would definitely handle some of those scenes different now, but it is a sad thing to think about for sure.
