I originally wanted to title this piece, "Don't Take My Sunshine Away," But i didn't want to be slammed for taking inspiration from a popular song.

Nobody would give you grief for that. Or at least, if someone did, it wouldn't be justified. Well established media references other media all the time. Especially music; music is meant to inspire. And if you take a look around FimFiction, you'll notice that a lot of authors use pop culture references in their story titles, even individual chapter titles. It's not something to shy away from.

As for the story itself, I thought you did a pretty good job for a short, sweet, to-the-point story. There are always details that could be improved or expanded, but there's no single thing in this fic that really detracts from it as a whole. Although Rarity's fascination with her appearance made me cringe a bit. What a character she is. I think my favourite aspect of this is that Twilight's embodiment of magic comes to full form when her most important friendship is put at risk; the person she cares about more than anything. Things like that are really sweet and get me almost every time.

Once again, a story will never be perfect. But as long as you pour yourself into what you're making, there's always gonna be someone who appreciates it. Happy writing, and I hope to see more from you.
