Have you ever wondered what happened just after that fateful three hour tour, or directly before the intro scene with the wrecked Minnow? Just how did those seven castaways end up on Gilligan's Island anyway?
This story answers that, and hopefully gets a laugh or two along the way.
This is our first work, please be helpful and provide constructive criticism.
Also I am writing this with my younger sister. Please keep the comments clean.
We tried to write a clean, enjoyable comedy, however there are very slight alcohol references in chapter five and barely in chapter eight.

Gilligan's Island meets MLP.... The epicness of that scenario, just made my head explode.
I've watched most of the show but I think I've missed a few episodes, but if if this isn't a quote from the show, it's belongs right in it, and is very creative (or it's just a well placed quote).
The story seems interesting, and it looks like most of them went to stay with the right pony. As far as I know there are no Other crossovers like this on the site (could be wrong though).
You should probably add the AU tag. The cover art works well For the story.

I'm glad to see that there's people out there who like Gilligans Island.
Well, Gilligan seems to be rather calm, sensible, and organized there.
Kudos to anyone who knows the identities of the characters talking last.
But seriously everyone who has reviewed this story for us has gotten confused at this point. No this is not the end of the story. Not yet.
Also I'm sorry it took so long to post this chapter, the internet has been giving me trouble recently.

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad it doesn't end here, in all honesty I've never really liked the whole erase their memories thing to end a story.
No offense to the way you decided to go with it though.
It's your story and you should write it however you want to.
Soo this is the tale of our castaways. They're here for a long long time. They'll have to make the best of things, It's an up hill climb. Gilligan and the Skipper too will do their very best, to make the others comfortable, in tropical island nest. No phone No lights, No Motorcars, Not a single luxury. But like Robinson Crusoe It's as primitive as could be. So join us next week my friends, you sure to get a smile, from seven stranded castaways. Here ON Gilligan's Isle!

I think his ended rather quickly, but was still well done. Also your 'disclaiming' was extremely overdone (please realizes it only (not nessasary) "needs" it once) and you won't get into copyright trouble, on this site. I've never heared of it napping and trust me, I would have knowen if there was.
If you ever make a sequel please let me know somehow, I would like to read it.
Thank you for the comments. I have to say that my sister and I thought that the story ended too soon as well. However since it was our first story, I decided we had to end it or it would have ballooned into a huge mess which we would neither have finished nor have published.
We are working on some more stories, and we'll try to make them longer and more fulfilling next time. Believe me no one is more disappointed than us that this story had to end so quickly. It was a blast to write, and we love both the shows.
