Nothin' like turning a year older and catching a cold at the same time, amirite?
Yesterday was my birthday. I now have a cold and an eternally runny nose.

Yesterday was my birthday. I now have a cold and an eternally runny nose.
We had a cold front from the north come down last week.
As a result, the days have been very cold and overcast. Though this weekend was dry, we'd had rain almost everyday.
On the upside, I've been enjoying wearing jackets and sweaters and hot drinks. I've been driving around with my windows down and not having to worry about the humidity. I haven't had to turn on the AC in days.
In short, I've been loving it.
Just hope it lasts...
I was getting my older brother's laundry from outside. It's freezing. The only warmth I had was a thin little jacket, (my coat was being cleaned, my other was MIA) and I ventured outside. I had four long lines of clothes to collect. I lost feeling in my fingers, (I had no gloves. Or hat) I regained that though.
I'm warming up with some hot cocoa, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and a lovely cupcake.
IT's 47 DEGREES OUTSIDE! CELESTIA, TURN UP THE SUN!
Hello People of Earth or Ponies of Equestria! It is once again that time of week for a little inspiration. Now because I'm tired today, I have no Guest OC commentator this week. (I know, ) Anyways, on with the topic!...*searches through various papers on desk*....Aha! Found it!
I live in the midwestern United states, I'm used to the cold and snowstorms. I always figure if I'm cold I can just put on a sweater or get under a blanket, or just work a little harder depending on the situation. What I can't get over is illness, apparently.
I've been sneezing for three days straight! IT'S DRIVING ME NUTS!!!
I could use some help writing the next chapter of Sirens of the Night II. I'm in the process writing the Basketball scene and during the scene I have an encounter between Gilda and Aria that leads up to the final confrontation between them in the next chapter. I am not happy with what I have written so far and I would like some help.
I just finished writing something, and it’s gone through the editing process, so we’re looking at finished product, sans cover art. But I can’t, for the life of me, figure out what tags to put on it. I would have put something like four to five tags using the old system, but with a limit of three, it’s kinda hard to figure out which tags take precedence... so, I was wondering if anypony wanted to volunteer to do a cold reading of a story and just recommend tags.

[8:03 PM] David ist spesschoconanasheep.: That ice is too cold?
[8:03 PM] David ist spesschoconanasheep.: What is that wrong?

Is anyone else trying for that pesky 50,000 words?
I've been working on the sequel to The Chaos Prophecy and I'm up to 87,000 but that was over the course of several months. I must admit that I haven't been writing all that much over summer for various reasons but now that it's gotten colder I'm indoors more than I've been outdoors so writing has become more of a priority.
The horror...the horror. I've come down with a cold again.....so I guess the writing will have to wait for a while until next week or so. Sorry guys and gals.
Excuse me while I play some Saint's Row 4 on my PC.....
I suppose I had to get used to the notion of going to classes again after a few years away, and certainly in person. But aside from that, I have a few observations about college.
Normally I would do an update about projects I am working on and stuff, but today I decided to explain why December is not my favorite month of the year. I know this will probably anger some of you, but I hope you will all hear me out.
You have been warned.
I will now proceed to mention the reasons why I hate this time of year.
1. It's BLOODY cold.
Here up in Spokane, WA it becomes very cold during the winter and if the pellet stove stops working it gets even worse.
The Cold Heart (Previously: My Heart is Cold) (5)
My heart is cold stone,
Made up of granite, ice, and ash,
Never did it mourn,
And many times did suffer a lash,
My heart cannot break,
It cannot tell love,
Nor does it ache,
And neither does it rove.
My heart is shattered,
It cannot take or give,
And nothing really mattered.
For no reason there was to live.
My heart has been tossed away,
And there (in the ocean) will it ever lay.
