Friendship Souls Next Week · 8:31am Feb 12th, 2022
As a heads up, the next chapter of Friendship Souls is something I'm taking an extra week on. I'm at around 7,600 words right now, which is a fair bit behind my usual, and the chapter isn't at a good stopping point. Just been wresting with a few factors on the chapter this time around that I want another week to hammer out until I'm satisfied with what I have. There's a lot that needs getting to here and I want to start brining the Equestrian arc towards it's last act. I'm eager to return to Sunset and the girls, but I want to make sure Equestria and the story here gets it's proper due.

Wow it's funny how often the delays on this coincide with shenanigans in Ghost Reaper Girl's release? I mean yeah we got a chapter this week but it was a short bonus chapter, blue-balling us from a big fight that was set-up in the previous chapter and was about to start.
But seriously take all the time you need man, there's no rush.

ThatGuyVex: When it comes to all three of the main factions( Quincy, Hollows, and Soulreapers), which one would you join. I would want to be a quincy as they are the most moral faction. I think you may have overdone the Quincy overhaul a bit much as they are unequivocally the most just faction by about any metric. They have done no seriously unethical scientific experiments, like the Soul Society and Hollows. A victory for them means the living govern the living world, not hyper-conservative and corrupt nobles, and they are free from getting their souls eating by the bleach equivalent of the devil. Scorpan supports the hyper-fascist zero division, and Tirek is again Satan, while Sombra is adaptable and compassionate ruler present day. Finally, the most morally driven, intelligent, and powerful(midnight form), of the main protagonists( Sunset, Adagio, and Twilight), Twilight Sparkle is a Quincy and loyal to Sombra. Adagio is a hollow and Espada, but she wants to kill Tirek and reform the hollow system.

In regards to this story, I'd almost prefer to be an independent, given each faction has it's own strings attached to it. That said, the Quincy are the only faction I wouldn't have to be already dead to join, so kind of a bonus point right there. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love Zanpaktou and would find having one to be essentially the Bleach cool-factor equivalent of having a lightsaber, but Soul Society is in need of a lot of reform. Hollows got a whole cavalcade of issues that wouldn't really make them a faction you'd want to join willingly unless you were basically stuck in circumstances that forced it.
