Friendship is Card Games: Epic (Noun) Time

Yeah, we’re dipping into the fandom archives for this one. Literally, given that the Alligator Tub Productions YouTube channel has renamed itself and wiped its content. But the Internet never forgets (except when it does) so let’s look at some classic fan animation and see how well it holds up.

Friendship is Card Games: Ponyville Mysteries: Schoolhouse of Secrets

This is an interesting situation. I begin my look at the Ponyville Mysteries novel series, which predates the Ponyville Mysteries comics I reviewed back in… 2019, my goodness.

Well, let’s get this started before my bones turn to dust.

Goblin Polski Patrol · 9:17pm Jan 3rd, 2018

More than a month ago, I got a very unexpected PM asking me for permission to translate Anything and Everything, wherein the Crusaders baked themselves a Smooze, into Polish. The result can be seen here.

Aside from the flattery that comes from people wanting more of the planet to read my horsewords, I enjoy these sorts of things since they let me compare and contrast languages using a text I'm intimately familiar with. It's fun to find cognates and familiar etymologies. Thanks again to Midday Shine and the other fine folks at Królewskie Archiwa Canterlotu.

Well, now I feel like I should translate one of your stories to German just to keep up. :derpytongue2:

Funnily enough, you actually wouldn't be the first to translate some of my stuff into German.

Neat! :pinkiehappy:

Maybe we can compare notes. :raritywink:

Sounds good. What notes do you have? I have terrible ones. *hands a page full of scribbles*

Mine are scattered over hundreds of pieces of cardboard. :pinkiecrazy:
