Looking for prereaders · 5:47am Jan 23rd, 2015
Hello everyone,
I've been working on a story for a while now, and I think I finished it.
I'm looking for someone to preread/edit it. Though I'm not sure if I'm at the proofreading stage yet. I feel like there are scenes I should probably cut, or ideas that should probably be expanded upon more, but I can't tell which one is which.
It's a philosophical piece that delves into some dark places, and clocks in at over 60k words altogether.
And it's a sequel to the Library of Discord.
Please leave a comment or message me if you're interested and I'll PM you the Google Docs.
Edit: 2015.05.23
Sorry, I've kind of let this project slide. I really want some feedback from someone who has read all 60k words of the story. Two good friends I know in real life have read the whole thing, and their feedback was invaluable, but I just want one more gut reaction that the story feels resolved completely before I feel comfortable starting to let this thing loose.
I'd like to help
you have my comments on the original. If you want input on the sequel, be happy to give it.

Wow, that was fast! I sent you both PMs with the links, thank you!
I'd be willing to edit. I might chime in with an idea or two, but primarily want to focus on the grammar, spelling, and syntax.

Thank you!

Sure. I'll get around to it in a few days since I've got a project deadline in the next week.
I would, but unfortunately my English isn't as good as the English of a native speaker. Anyway, I'm looking for a new proofreader myself...

No problem, thank you!

Okay! Thanks for thinking about it. Good luck finding a proofreader.
Bloop bla bloop bloo,
I'll preread for you.

Do you mind if I wait a little while to send you the link? Depending on the feedback I get from these first few readers, I might alter the story significantly.
You know what? I've changed my mind. I would at least try to help you out, so you can send me the Google docs for this sequel. As long as I don't have to check grammar (I'm German) I think I can help you with the story.
