New job going well so far and Ghost of Grogar ch2 is in progress! · 12:25am May 20th
Just letting you guys all know my new job at the hardwood flooring plant is going well so far! It's not too difficult and the things I've done so far are easy to pick up with some guidance. The first 2 days, I did the same thing unloading some long planks of wood and stacking them, the next 2 I was moved to another place where I make piles of interlocked hardwood flooring panels together and then give them to another worker where they will be strapped in with those plastic ties. Friday was a little weird cuz I had to work at the main saw mill on the other end of town and just went around doing various jobs. I worked for 9 hours that day which means I'll get some overtime. My first payout still hasn't come yet, but I'm hoping it will be better than the last job. I still get Memorial Day off, I just won't get paid for it cuz paid holidays don't take effect until I've been here for a month. On the downside, I am pretty sore in my arms and shoulders by the end of the day, but my body will readjust to that over time.
Also, I have the next chapter of "Ghost of Grogar" in progress and am just getting some proof-reading done. I'll see if I can release it soon, probably in the afternoon around 4ish, depending on how busy I am at work.
As for art, I did want to get a pic of what the interior of the Harmony Clubhouse looks like, but I will release Ch2 first and do the art on my own time. I should have plenty of time to myself and will not be quite as tired once I get into the groove of things. I also need to get started with some commission art. I have almost all of the WIP sketches done for the commissions so I can get finishing them in order soon.
