This Unusual Little World

Get used to living in a world full of ponies and it turns out you'll be stuck here for a while!

This story is how Alex Mackenzie has an unfaithful and unexpected encounter of an alternate world set aside from his, he tells of his life being "not that interesting", and he suddenly stumbles upon an odd doll once he was taking out the trash. The rest of the story should tell you the rest as you read along the way and he tours and helps anypony all around the areas of Equestria, probably around unknown dimensions! This fan fiction, to me of course, is a one of a kind turn around and continuation of everything has or hasn't recently occurred in Equestria, unraveled until he walks in. Not to mention I've created a few of my own original ponies as well, they'll be posted up as they're introduced within the series. I hope you enjoy this story I've put together!

Chapter 1: A Life Changing Day to Remember

View Online

~My life wasn't as great as other people's lives; but, it was decent; and it was mine. I had a home, I had friends, and I had a family, but all of that wasn't so fun. "Why is my life so dull?" I thought to myself, only to realize that I needed some excitement in my life. I just wanted something unexpected to happen, that could change the way I view my life.~

It was a normal, yet boring Saturday morning for me, walking to the store to gather supplies for my mother while she was at work.

"Alex, hey Alex!" I heard someone calling me from a distance.

"Hey, why are you in such a hurry?" Mia said as she forcefully clung to my arm.

"Well, you see me with groceries,don't you?" I replied.

"So you're doing something useful for a change?" She asked laughing.

"Sheesh Mia, you're so cruel sometimes, you know that." I said sighing.

After I escaped Mia, I rushed home and put all the groceries in their respective cabinets and turned on the television. I picked up the remote and started to flip through channels repeatedly.

"Man, I should get these chores done before mom and the others arrive for the party." I said as I rose from the couch.

I got the garbage and dumped it all into the outside bin and walked back to my front door. As I was walking back inside, I spotted a strange looking figure out on the street. It looked as if it was some kind of toy stranded by a little kid.

"Hasn't anyone's parents told their children to not litter or stuff..." I said sighing, going to go pick up the tattered doll.

I observed it carefully. "Well it doesn't look like anything I would need but..." I look at it even more. "What the...is this what I think it is?" I said in confusion.

All of a sudden I heard a sound roaring towards me with me still admiring the old looking toy, it sounded like a car. It took me a minute to realize the sound until suddenly...

"W-What's that noi--!?" all I could hear was a faint crashing sound.

*****

"Ouch...my head... that really hurt..." I said deep in my mind. "W-What happened, all I remember was hearing the sound of a car and...then... am I DEAD!?" I thought to myself as I felt sweat coming from my face with my eyes closed.

After a couple of minutes I heard a few unfamiliar voices, couldn't quite make them out very well.

"What do you supposed happened to it?" One of the voices said.

"I'm not sure,Spike, but what ever happened seemed like it caused it a lot of damage." said the other voice.

"What...who...who's talking about me...and I'm not an "it"!"

I waited for about a few minutes until I could hear one of the voices now, I had thought that now was my chance to wake up since I regained my energy back.

"Going...up!" I said as I leaped myself off the comfy surface.

"Huh!" popped the mysterious voice again.

"Seriously, who is it that keeps talk--" I paused for a moment to find an odd figure...no, an odd mythical creature standing before me.

"Ah, you've seem to have gain back consciousness!" said the mysterious creature. After she said that I was oddly observing her, trying to see if I was hallucinating or not. (even though I was already confused to begin with.)

"Okay, what are you doing?" said the mysterious creature.

"It's just...it's just that...nah, I'm just dreaming." I said slightly taking in the surrounding I was in.

"It's just what?" She continued asking.

"Well, let me say it like this...YOU-ARE-A-TALKING-UNICORN!!!" I shouted.

"Oh, so you know about our species already, how fascinating!" the purple unicorn tapped her front hooves together as if she was clapping for joy.

"Holy cow..." I said slowly.

"Um, excuse me, but I'm not exactly a cow..." responded the purple unicorn.

I sat down on the floor trying to piece everything together, though it made no sense to me. I looked around the room noticing a whole shelf of books from left to right.

"What is this place anyways?" I said looking around in awe.

"Well You're currently residing in my library in Equestria!" replied the ecstatic purple unicorn.

"Equestria... is that some sort of place?" I asked, still confused.

"Well yes, and I'm guessing you're not from this world aren't you?" the purple unicorn asked.

"Does a pig fly?" I said in a trivial voice.

"Uh I don't think so, wait... DO they fly where you come from!?" said purple unicorn.

She began smiling and kept asking questions on if I knew about flying pigs. "Good grief, what happened after I blacked out?" I said sighing.

"Oh, well me and Spike were out getting my checklist done until we came across you lying on the ground just pass Everfree Forest..."

"Everfree Forest, what's that?" I asked.

"It's a forest close to one of my best friends home, she's very gentle in nature... and to nature as well." The purple unicorn replied.

"Ah, well...since we haven't met each other before why don't I introduce myself?" The purple unicorn bowed her head slightly with her hooves planted firmly on the floor. "My name in Twilight Sparkle, pleased to make your acquaintance!" Twilight said in a very elegant manner.

"Wow, so you um....have a name, too..."I mumbled to myself, she looked at me with suspicion.

"Um... nothing, n-nothing, never mind..." I stated. I picked up myself and pulled out my hand towards Twilight. "Well, I'm Alex, Alex Mackenzie!" I said offering a handshake.

"Hmm..." Twilight said glancing at my hand.

"Is everything okay..?" I asked her.

"It's just that...um, I don't know if contact with you is completely..." She stopped mid sentence crossing one front hoof over the other.

"Completely what?" I said still holding my hand out.

"Safe." she finished.

"Oh...oh r-right, haha!" I pulled my hand away from Twilight.

"Anyways, I have some last minute checking to do before I go to pick up Spike!" She said as she enchanted a few of the books around the library towards her.

"W-Whoa, what the heck did you just do!?" I said in astonishment.

"Hmm, what do you mean, Alex?" Twilight said looking at me with a puzzling glare.

"It's just...are you making those books float!?" I asked.

"Why yes, we unicorns have the abilities to cast wondrous spells and can use them to help anypony anyway we can!" She explained pridefully.

"So you can use MAGIC too, that is so AWESO wait...did you just say anypony?" I asked.

"Indeed I did!" she happily replied.

"Don't you mean anybody?" I stated.

"Well of course, Alex, anybody here is any and everypony!" Twilight replied with a smile.

"E-everypony..." I started to think this through. "Wait a second!" I shouted in a loud voice.

"What's wrong, Alex?" Twilight asked.

"There are MORE like you!?" I asked hesitantly.

"Well yes, this is Ponyville after all." She replied.

"W-What..." I said in a solemn tone.

After our conversation was over, I had asked Twilight to learn more about where I was; Unfortunately she randomly kept asking the same annoying question "Do pigs fly where you come from!?" and I would always reply "For the last time, pigs don't have wings, women...erm...pony!" well at least that was what I was thinking in my head whenever she had asked.

She told me I came to Equestria a little while back, she also inferred that I was passed out for about 2 days before I awoke, I told her that all i remember doing was looking at an odd stuffed toy then got hit by a car. (Had to minus the "hit by car" part because she's probably soft-hearted.)

"Wow, you've really had quite the trip, Alex, so you were knocked unconscious by a fever!?" Twilight had asked holding one hoof up to her mouth.

"Um..y-yea,yea, that's it, I had a fever!" I had reacted with quite a bit of sweat.

"Hmm, well you're fine now, aren't you?" Twilight asked, holding one of her hooves to my head.

"Hey, I thought you said it's dangerous to touch me..." I said confused.

"Oh, right, I guess my theory was incorrect!" She replied in laughter.

"We should be getting to Spike, Rarity is probably holding off the little guy for me while I'm coming." Twilight said heading towards the door.

"Um,who are those,anyways?" I asked.

"Friends of course, let's go!" Twilight said with excitement, then we both left the treehouse library.

Chapter 2: Welcome To Equestria?

View Online

Twilight and I were heading to somepony's house who's name was Rarity,so to speak, sounds like a very petite name if you ask me.

"So we're in Equestria and I'm in Ponyville...right?" I said, still hopelessly confused.

"That's right, Alex!" Twilight replied.

We finally saw the town that supposedly had other ponies in it up ahead, then Twilight stopped for a moment. "Wait, I think that it's best that you waited here at the park." She said.

"What, why?" I questioned.

"Well, I just don't want anypony to raise suspicion since...well...you know..." Twilight clacked her hooves in a signifying way of embarrassment.

"Huh, OH, oh right...with me being a ...none...pony." I said with a distinct laugh.

"I'll be back from Carousel Boutique and we can discuss things later, okay?" Twilight said.

"Okay I guess wait, there's a boutique here..!?" before i could get my entire sentence out, she headed to town. "Oh wow, that's one fast unicorn." I said as i sat down on one of the park benches and waited.

"Heh, to think that a day of nothing turned into...this." I said to myself. After a few minutes when I was still mumbling to myself, a bunny came hopping by.

"Huh!" I said, startled. "Oh it's just a rabbit, surprised it can't talk like that unicorn..." I said with a grin.

The bunny jumped on my head and began batting it with it's feet. "H-hey what the..!" I kept shooing it off my head until it decided to stop, the bunny started laughing.

"Oh, so that's how you wanna be,eh?" I rose from the bench glaring at it. We both got into a sudden stare down until there was a surprisingly soothing voice.

"Angel!" said the voice. The rabbit flopped it's ears down as if it was showing remorse.

"Angel, who's Angel...um..." I looked around for a second only to see that there was no one there.

"You should be ashamed of yourself for picking on this poor creature like that." said the voice again.

"Okay, why does people keep insisting I'm an "it" or some "creature"...um...who's talking by the way!?" I asked, once again confused.

"Oh...e-excuse me." the voice sounded closer, then I felt a small tap on my back.

"Oh yeah, who is i what in the world!?" I shouted, startled by a flying pony.

"Eek!" said the flying pony in a tiny squeal.

"W-What are you...a horse...another unicorn that can fly...or..." I said constantly guessing, then I noticed her wings that were hidden from plain sight. "no way...A PEGASUS!?" I said in total awe.

"Um...y-yes, I'm sorry for being a pegasus, mister creature..." She responded in an innocent voice.

"Oh, um...I should be the one apologizing for scaring you like that." I replied.

"Oh no, it's fine, I'm often scared a little, but not all the " the pegasus then had a leaf land on her right wing. "Yipe!" She reacted with a short screech with fright.

"Um yea, I can see that..." I said laughing a little. "So who are you if you don't mind me asking?,"

The pink manned pegasus regained her balance. "W-Who me, oh...my name is..." before the pegasus could finish her sentence, a sharp voice came out of nowhere.

"Hey Fluttershy, Fluttershy where'd you go!?," The voice seemed like it came from the skies.

"Huh who was that!?," I asked, but once I looked up, I saw what I just couldn't believe. It was a multi-colored manned blue pegasus showing off some serious speed.

"Oh,there you are Fluttershy, what's the big idea hiding in the bushes again?," said the blue pegasus as it landed to where me and the other pegasus was.

"Um...," It was all I could say, dumbstruck.

"Hmm, who are you?," the blue pegasus asked with piercing eyes.

"W-Who me, oh um, the name's Alex Mackenzie.," I replied with a small wave.

"Ah, looks like a pony I've never seen before!" the blue pegasus said. "Well cool, me name's...," The blue pegasus dashed around me and got Fluttershy then back to the position she started at. "Rainbow Dash, FASTEST, COOLEST pegasus in all of Equestria!!," she said setting down Fluttershy near her.

"Wow, talk about amazing!" I said with a small smile.

"Ha, amazing, try AWESOME!" Rainbow replied.

"Amazing!" I repeated flailing my hands in the air like it's some sort of debate.

"Awesome!" Rainbow repeated.

We kept repeating our words until we came face to face and ironically both screamed "AMAZINGLY AWESOME!" at the very end.

"I gotta say, this pegasus has got some spirit!"

Fluttershy was tending the animals in the park as me and Dash were randomly talking about things we both liked and how she proved to be the fastest in all of Equestria.

"You're not half bad,Alex, why don't you hang with me and Fluttershy sometime?" She said flying around me in circles. "We could probably oh that's right, me and Flutter's heading out on storm cloud patrol so catch you later, okay!" Rainbow shouted as she zoomed ahead of town carrying Fluttershy with Angel on her head.

"Bye mister Alex, see you soon!" said Fluttershy waving her hoof at me.

"Take cares, Fluttershy!" I said with a smile on my face. Angel made a mocking expression at me from afar. "You too, you little demonic bunny..." I said under my breath.

I waited over ten minutes for Twilight, so I decided to wait a little more. "Okay, I'm back, sorry it took so long Alex." Twilight said as she came walking back from out of town.

"Oh, nah it's okay, I kind of had some company after you left." I said laughing.

"You did? who did you meet, I still don't want anypony afraid of how you look or start asking questions." Twilight said putting up her hoof over her mouth.

"Don't worry, Twilight, they seemed cool, besides one of them's pretty awesome!" I said.

"Oh, well then, if you say so!" She said with a laugh.

While that short conversation was over, I heard two other voices approaching from where Twilight came from.

"Spike, mind trying not to eat the new set of designs I made next time, honestly those rubies were very hard to come by." said one in a complaining tone.

"Oh, um, sorry Rarity, I couldn't help myself...they l-looked tasty" said the other, which sounded like some voice from when I met Twilight.

I turned around and to my surprise I spotted a small, purple dragon with undeveloped spikes. "No way... a dragon, that's impossible!" I said and fell to the ground.

"What's with you, h-huh, whoa, you're that thing Twilight and I found laying on the ground!" said the little dragon.

"..." I facepalmed myself at the remark.

"Yes...yes I am that "thing" that you and Twilight found..."

"Twilight, what exactly is this... um... thing?" said the shining unicorn with purple mane.

"Okay, it's REALLY starting to get offensive being called a "thing" in the world, you know that!" I replied in a grumpy tone.

"Oh, ha ha, sorry for not properly introducing you to them yet." said Twilight with a chuckle as she helped me back up.

"Rarity and Spike, I'd like you to meet Alex Mackenzie, he's not from Equestria!" Twilight said happily.

"Hey guys!" I replied with a small wave.

"Well, nice to meet you mister Alex, and..." the dolled up,purple maned pony looked at me for an instant.

"Um, something wrong?" I asked.

"You could say that, I mean...look at those filthy holes in that thing you're WEARING!!" she said as she tried to urge me to take off my shirt.

"Aww, i-it's nothing bad, really, ha ha..." I said, still resisting to take off my shirt.

"Oh pish posh, darling, you must let me fix it, please?" the purple manned pony said with a caring voice.

Twilight tapped my shoulder. "Don't worry, Alex, rarity can fix those holes easily and you'll look even better, trust her." she said with a smile.

"Well, okay, if you really think so..." I took my shirt off and lent it to Rarity, luckily for me I had an undershirt to prevent ponies from seeing my entire upper body.

"Seriously, you'd think ponies care about a human dude's abs?" I thought to myself.

"Thank you, darling, since you're new here, I'll do this free of charge!" She said as she rushed off to town.

"Will she really be able to fix them, I mean their sewn by profes--" before I could even finish my sentence, the purple manned unicorn returned and said

"All done!" with a smile.

"Wow, that was fast, thank's a lot Rarity...um I mean *ahem* Miss Rarity." I said showing my gratitude.

"You're very welcome, you're a real stallion mister Alex." Rarity said giggling a bit.

"Is...is she coming onto me...or was that just a way of thanks in a new way in this world?"

"By the way, you... don't eat gems like little Spikey Wikey, now do you?" She asked hesitantly.

"W-Well, no, I don't think I do." I said scratching my head in confusion. Rarity gave a sigh of relief after hearing my answer.

"Well, we should be heading back to the library okay, Spike, um... Spike?" Twilight said noticing Spike was constantly gazing at Rarity with some pretty beloving eyes.

"Bow-chica-wow-wow-chica-wow-wow, huh Spike?" I whispered to Spike.

"W-What does that mean, is that some kinda code?" He said freaked out and confused.

"Ha ha, you'll know some day...eventually." I said.

As Spike, Twilight and I left the park, we waved to Rarity as she went back to the boutique, Twilight insisted it was safe to go back to the treehouse library because there weren't a lot of ponies walking around in the night and so we went back.

"I'm getting to like this place more and more..." I thought to myself.

Chapter 3: Celestia Celebration Preparation

View Online

Morning came into place, and thanks to Twilight and Spike for being kind enough to make a small corner of their upstairs room a place for me to sleep for the night. Though it was cramped, it would have to do for the mean time. Rarity had came to visit the tree-house library as soon as Twilight, Spike and me were up.

Rarity and Twilight started a conversation excluding me and Spike for a while, then I looked at Spike for a moment.

"Hmm...I wonder..."

"Hey Spike?" I said trying to get the purple dragon's attention from Rarity's.

"Huh, yeah Alex?" Spike replied wondering why I called him.

"I would've asked this sooner but... since you and Twilight live under the same roof, or in this case, tree, doesn't that mean you two are ... together?" I said with curiosity.

"W-What?" Spike said with a blushed face. "I'm just her number one assistant, that's all!" Spike said trying to clear a thought from his head.

Twilight and Rarity finished talking and caught wind of me and Spike's talk. "Indeed, darling, these two are no where near being "together" at all." Rarity replied with ease on the topic.

I looked at Spike, then at Twilight and Rarity. "Oh, haha, my bad there..." I said with a sarcastic laugh.

"I want us to finish up preparations for Princess Celestia's upcoming surprise party, I want everything to go accordingly on schedule!" Twilight said pulling out a long list of things to do.

"Huh, who's Princess Celestia?" I asked.

Twilight stopped checking the list and looked at me with glee. "Only the kindest, most wonderful, and faithful and smart and " Twilight was stopped by Rarity's hoof near her mouth.

"She's Equestria's gorgeous princess!" Rarity said in short.

"Really,what's she like!?" I said wanting to know more about Celestia.

"She has the gifts of us unicorn, pegasus and earth ponies alike!" Twilight said, full of excitement on the subject.

"Wow, there's someone in this world like that, sounds like a cool...um..." I paused for a moment. "Wait, if she's all all three, what exactly is she..?" I asked, confused.

"She's an alicorn, Alex!" Spike happily answered.

The moment Spike answered my question, his cheeks started to puff up. "What's wrong Spike, you're not gonna...HURL are you!?" I said stepping back from the tiny dragon.

Spike burped out mysterious, sparkling fumes which formed a spiral of a sort. "Huh..." I said.

"Oh, its a letter from Princess Celestia!" Twilight said in excitement.

"Wait, what letter?" I asked after I saw a scroll appeared from the remaining fumes. "Oh, nevermind..." I said laughing.

"Twilight, have you checked with Pinkie Pie over the preparations of the princess's occasion?" Rarity said while carefully levitating a mirror, tending her mane. "After she's done setting , I'll be displaying my RAVISHING decor during the party!" she added.

"RARITY, I don't mind helping you with your decorations!" Spike said enthusiastically running towards Rarity. Twilight used her magic to capture Spike's tail and put him beside her as she was still looking through her check list.

"Sorry Spike, I'm going to have to need you for further planning ... it says in the note the princess sent that she's coming earlier from Canterlot." Twilight stated.

Spike mumbled to himself.

"The little guy's trying so hard for "Miss Fashionista", haha"

"I'll also need Fluttershy and Applejack to get ready for when she comes, they're handling the side preparations!" Twilight said with one hoof up.

"Wow looks like you ponies have a lot on your plate just to get your party for your princess ready." I said placing my hand over my chin in thought.

Just then, Twilight gave a displeased look after she finished reading the letter.

"Twilight, dear, is there something wrong?" Rarity asked.

"...Princess Celestia wants me to personally introduce her into Ponyville this afternoon."Twilight replied.

"What seems to be the problem with that?" I asked.

"...I was SUPPOSED to help with all the side preparations within the AFTERNOON!" Twilight said as one of her eyes twitched.

"Uh...oh..."Spike said, uneased.

Twilight began to warp everywhere around the library in panic "The schedule will be off, the preparations won't be done, the party might be a disaster...!" Twilight said, still panicing.

Rarity casually slipped out from the library to go start on her decorations as soon as possible, as for Spike and I watch Twilight warp randomly around the library.

"Wow she's even crazier than her being tardied that last time" Spike said while he laughed a little. "To be tardied, what do you mean by that Spike?" I asked.

Spike held up a picture from a book that showed Twilight, well what SEEMED to look like her, but with a bad hair day and a creepy smile. "Holy unicorn at a Scream-O's concert!?" I said outloud.

Twilight appeared next to me. "W-What's wrong Alex!?" she asked hesitantly, totally unaware of the picture Spike had shown. "Um... heh, n-nothing, Twilight." I replied desperately holding in my laughter of the picture.

After a while had passed, Twilight, Spike, and I were preparing for Celestia's party until it was evening. Since Twilight didn't wanted any pony to see me, we found a secluded spot away from town to help blow up all the balloons necessary for the party.

"Hmm, I had almost forgot...did Pinkie finish with the getting the desserts?" Twilight said, mumbling to herself.

"I could go check it on Pinkie if you want, Twilight!" I shouted trying to untangle the balloons from my leg. "Um... a little help here..." I said embarrassed.

"Oh, I gotcha Alex " just when Spike tried to come help me out, there was a loud thunder boom. "W-whoa!" Spike fell on top of me and we became dazed for a short while.

"W-what was that sound, it doesn't look like it's about to rain,does it?" Spike said, still freaked out by the sound. I looked up into the sky to find small peek of multi coloring in a cloud.

"Does she seriously expect that to work on me or anybody...erm...pony?"

"Heh, I think I have hunch on who spooked you..." I said preparing one of the pies from the table where the rest of the balloons were tied to.

"CATCH, RAINBOW DASH!" I shouted throwing pie to her.

"Hahaha, you should've seen the look on your face Spi--" Dash was interrupted by the pie I threw to her face.

"Sweet throw,Alex!" Spike said laughing. Rainbow Dash looked at me and Spike and laughed along with us.

"Well you three seem to be having fun!" said Twilight. "So mind going to go check on Pinkie for me, Alex?" asked clapping her hooves as a sign of saying please.

"Of course!" I said as I was still laughing.

Rainbow Dash licked away all the remaining pie bits from her face and saw Twilight and Spike help me from the ground.

"Hey Al, what do need from Pinkie Pie anyways?" said rainbow Dash.

"Well not sure, but if it's for Celestia's party it's gotta be important!" I replied walking towards the town.

Dash hovered over to me on the cloud she was on right in front of me. "Whoa, whoa, whoa, you sure it's okay to be walking around Ponyville like that!?" Rainbow said pointing her hooves on my shoulder.

"Oh, right, forgot I have to be hidden from pony society..." I said, slightly uncomfortable with the situation.

"Just great, how am I going to go get to Pinkie now?"

"Hmm..." I kept thinking and thinking until I had an idea. I looked at Dash on her cloud.

"Cloud...above city...going without getting caught..." I said staring at her. "Yea, you need to find a way to get to Pinkie Pie..." She said gazing back at me confused.

"..." I was silent.

"Rainbow Dash, can't you TAKE A HINT!?"

"...Oooooooooooh, you want me to fly you over Ponyville to not get spotted, right?" Dash said with a sarcastic-like smile.

"Ha ha, seems great minds think alike!" I said as we high-fived each other, hand to hoof.

"But Alex won't be able to fly on the cloud, remember he's human, not not like all pegasi." Twilight stated

"No worries, I gave THIS cloud here I'm on a little more fluff to hold Alex up for a while till we get there, I'm sure it'll work!" Rainbow Dash said in a relaxed pose upon the cloud.

"You're....*gulp* sure...?"

Twilight trotted towards me to tell where I needed to go. "Pinkie should be in Sugar Cube Corner, since everypony is helping out in preparing for Celestia's party, there won't be that many ponies in that part of town who'll see you,good luck!" Twilight said with a slight wave of the hoof.

Rainbow Dash allowed me on board her cloud. "WHOA!" I shouted. "What's up, Al!?" Dash asked in an instant.

"This cloud is...SO FLUFFY!!!" I said in awe.

"Hehe, yea I find them sorta comfy myself!" Dash said as she bonked my head sort of like a small slap on the back,only lighter, for my random statement.

"We should hurry this up, GO TIME!" Dash said as she began speeding through the skies with me aboard.

The wind blowing through as we took flight in the sky made it hard to talk normal, so we had to speak up to hear each other.

"WHOOOOOOOOA, SO THIS IS WHAT IT FEEL LIKE TO LIVE FAST IN THE SKY!?" I shouted as we were going over head of Ponyville.

"YEAH, THIS IS PRETTY COOL, RIGHT ALEX!?" shouted Rainbow Dash, but there was no response.

"ALEX, ALEX, ALEEEEEEEEX?" Rainbow Dash shouted again.

"WHAT'S WRONG, DID THE AWESOMENESS LEAVE YOU SPEECHLESS OR " She shouted as she turned back to see what I was doing but...I wasn't even on the cloud anymore.

She quickly came to a halt on her cloud. "O-oops... don't tell me I dropped him..." She said scratching her head with her hoof and giving another sarcastic smile.

"Wonder where he dropped...." said Dash.

*****

Meanwhile, I was free falling, screaming for my life when I suddenly hit something soft on my landing. "W-Whoa...that was too close for comfort!" I said, sighing in relief.

"Speaking of comfort..." I looked underneath what I was sitting on.

"What luck it was that I dropped on a hayful of...hay!" I said laughing.

Just then I heard a giggle come from behind me. "H-Huh, was that some sort of cute echo...." I said looking around.

"Tehehe, hope you're okay mister creature guy!" said a joy-filled voice out of nowhere.

"Huh, who said that... um can't be Flutter shy or Rarity... so..." then the voice interrupted me.

"Oooooooh, you know Fluttershy and Rarity!?" The pink colored pony'y head popped up in front of my face.

"Holy cow!" I said, surprised by the ponies sudden appearance.

The pink pony giggled at my random reaction. "Aaaaaaaaany friends of theirs are best of bestest friends of mines!" She said with a slight laughter.

"I bet this little pink one is Pinkie Pie, she's as energetic as Mia...just a bit more pink."

"W-Well hey there... um..." I paused.

"It's Pinkie Pie, mister creature guy!" She happily implied.

"Oh, well what do you know, I was right, ha ha!" I said, but all of a sudden Pinkie disappeared from in front of me.

"W-Where in the name of Ponyville did she go...oh great... now I'm replacing my words with "pony" references!" I said facepalming myself.

"Aww, don't hit yourself mister creature guy." said Pinkie.

"What the..!" I said looking behind me. "Hey Hey~♪" She said laughing.

"Pinkie, what are you doing disappearing like that?" I asked.

"Oh that's because I wanted to let you know that you had a balloon on you, ha ha!" She replied pointing her hoof at it. "What are you talking about...oh." I noticed it and starting laughing as I untied it from my leg and let it float away.

"You'll need WAY more balloons if you want to fly!" Pinkie said giggling.

"Um... please call me Alex,Pinkie." I said laughing a little.

"Oh by the way, Pinkie, Twilight told me to come see if you had the --" before I could finish my sentence, Pinkie slammed a pie in both of our faces.

"Desserts~♪" Pinkie said licking the pie from around her face and smiling.

"I kinda like this pony, AND this cake!"

I licked the pie off my face like Pinkie.

All of a sudden her tail flared up. "Oh no,not now!" She said gasping and rushing into a nearby building, then came back out with a multi-colored umbrella hat on. "Um..." That was all I could say, staring at Pinkie in an odd way.

"Hurry Alex, duck under something right now!" She said hiding under a nearby fruit stand.

"Why... would I do tha " all of a sudden, Rainbow Dash fell on top of me.

"Ow!" I said in agony,

"Whoops, again... not one of my best landings huh?" Dash said with a small laugh.

"Ugh...you think!" I said trying to gently remove Rainbow Dash off of me. Dash floated back up to the cloud she must have dropped from and Pinkie's tail stopped twitching.

"Phew, my tail stopped twitching, I guess it's safe to come out now~♪" Pinkie said, taking off the umbrella hat and jumping back to me.

"Ouch...what happened" I said still trying to get rid of the pain.

"I was TRYING to warn you about it, Alex!" She said jumping around me.

"Um, not really, all you did was twitch your tail wildly and got a silly umbrella hat..." I said, scratching my head.

"That's because of my "Pinkie Senses", don't you know about that, silly?" She asked, playfully.

"No... but i DO know what spidey senses are, does that count?"

Dash called out to me from her cloud above "Hey Alex!?" she shouted.

"Are you you okay, seems I went a bit TOO fast when you were flying with me!" She said, lowering the cloud.

"Yea I'm cool, a bit of hay still on the back of my jacket, but... I'm good!" I replied with a thumbs up to Rainbow Dash.

"Aaaaaaaaanyways, mister creature guy-- I mean Alex..!" She giggled a little before she continued. "Why'd you fall out of the sky, my tail never EVER predicted that would happen!" Pinkie said, still hopping around me.

"Haha, you're definitely like Mia...in more ways than one." I said ,stopping Pinkie in her tracks. She smiled at me.

"So full of joy, I bet nothing brings this pony down!"

"Since you have everything Twilight needed for the party, guess that's it!" I said with a grin. "Seems you girls will give this Celestia person...I mean pony queen an awesome party!" I said smiling.

"Oooooooh, by the way Dashie, wanna go prank some ponies after there's time from party planning?" Pinkie said in excitement.

"Sure, why not, I've been aching to get back at Scootaloo for that pond incident, hehe!" Dash said with a vengeful smile.

"Oh, but first me and Alex are going to check on Fluttershy and Applejack!" She said in a haste.

"Oh...yea I never met Applejack."

"Oh yea, that's right, you've never met AJ yet, don't worry she doesn't bite...much." Dash said laughing.

"Okey Dokey Lokey, have fun finishing up~la la la la~♪" Pinkie said happily skipping back the way she came from.

Rainbow Dash hoisted me up upon her cloud and started towards Fluttershy's cottage.

"Um...mind not speeding crazily like last time?" I asked hesitantly with a distinct laugh.

"Aw come on, I should never make the same mistake twice, Alex!" Dash said giving a confident glare as she turned around to see how I was doing. Sadly, I wasn't there on the cloud... again.

W-Whoops...I really did...do it again,heheh.: Dash said with a blank expression.

"Well at least I DID "drop" him off at Fluttershy's place!" She recovered laughing and continued flying.

*****

I had landed on some neatly trimmed bushes, grunting over Dash's sense in "bad landing".

"I have a feeling that pegasus just tried making a joke off my fall..." I said pouting.

"Well at least I'm at Fluttershy's home, wonder why it's all the way out here outside Ponyville...?" I said, heading for the short crossway above a miniature brook.

I then spotted a bunny that looked oddly familiar. "Hmm, oh look a bunny, I wonder what it's doing here..." I said. I waited for a moment before picking it up.

"Hold the phone!" I said removing my hands away from the little innocent creature. "You're...ANGEL!" I said pointing at the bunny.

It was glaring at me with serious eyes as I was returning the same look. "Round 2, eh?" I said pulling up my sleeves ready to pounce the bunny for revenge. Angel signaled the "come at me" action.

"Angel!" said a serious, yet soft voice. "You shouldn't go picking on others because " the voice came from Fluttershy, who's eyes widened in surprise that I was coming to see her.

"Oh my, mister Alex, I didn't expect you to be here." She said, trying to separate me and Angel from going into any violence.

"Mhm, it's good to see you..and that little fluffy demon... again!" I said smiling at Fluttershy. Angel spat his tongue out at me, mocking me with his ears on Fluttershy's back.

"Why I ought a..." I murmured, balling up my fist.

"Oh, mister Alex why don't you come in and talk for a while?" Fluttershy said nudging me with her head and hooves towards her home.

"Whoa, why so keen on talking in a rush?" I said laughing and trying to not to be force to approach her cottage.

"W-Well you see..." Fluttershy's face became a little red. "W-W-Well...I... really wanted to...." She covered her excitement.

I looked at Fluttershy. "This had better not be what I think it is...I know I'm handsome,but..." I thought to myself.

"What's wrong Fluttershy, you can tell me." I said petting her on the head.

"Twilight told me that where you come from, there are pigs that fly." She said trying to contain her blush.

"W-Wha " I said as I stopped petting her.

"Was that... too soon to mention mister Alex..?" Fluttershy said, slightly blushing now.

I stared at Fluttershy, seems she was misunderstood just as Twilight. "Oh..." I said with a small laugh.

"Seriously, was that all..." I said facepalming myself.

"Fluttershy...that's not something to blush THAT much over...though it is cute when you DO blush." I thought to myself.

Fluttershy started to rubbing my head with her hooves. "It's okay, mister Alex" She said contently.

"Though...I'd really love to hear about them still." She continued with a blissful smile.

"Yeah, I've got plenty of tales about...flying pigs ..." I replied laughing a little.

"When I said I wanted something unexpected to happen, I didn't realize THIS would happen...but at the same time,I'm glad that it did"

Chapter 4:Meeting Applejack!

View Online

After the tales of "flying pigs" from my world was told to Fluttershy, she felt so envious of me getting to see such majestic creatures.

Around a few hours I had to go and meet Applejack at a place called Apple Acres, judging from the name and location, it must have something to do with apples.

Rainbow Dash came on her cloud and raced down to the front of Fluttershy's cottage.

"Hey guys, you all done with the arrangements?" she asked."Yeah, Fluttershy has her bird chorus ready to sing at Celestia's party!" I replied, petting Fluttershy on the head.

"Y-Yes, Mister Alex was helping me gather more baby blue jays to sing with us, I'm so pleased." Fluttershy said contently.

"Well, we'd better get to AJ before she's back to bucking down more apples!" Dash said ecstatically.

"I knew it, apples in Apple Acres with a pony who bucks them down called Apple jack... totally saw it coming!" I thought to myself as I gave a fist pump of me being correct.

"I see,well, guess I have to go now Fluttershy." I said removing my hand from her forehead and walking towards Rainbow Dash and her cloud.

"Oh...okay, good luck on helping everyone, mister Alex." Fluttershy said smiling.

"Surprised she didn't say everypony." I said under my breathe as I got on the cloud Rainbow Dash was on.

"Alright, let's go, Apple Acres here we come!" Dash said readying her wings.

"Um...try not to forget , I'm on the cloud this time..." I said laughing a little.

"Ha ha, I'll try to be a little careful this time,Alex!" Dash said, putting up her right hoof like a "thumbs up".

We took off, without me falling off just in the beginning this time and we were already half way across the square of Ponyville.

"You know..." I said to Dash. "What's up, Alex?" She replied, still focusing on flying.

"I have this feeling that this Celestia woman...erm...princess pony sounds familiar to me." I said.

"Really, but you JUST entered Equestria, how would you know her now?" Dash said half focused on where she was going in the sky.

"Well, I know it's crazy to say, but I kno--" just before I could finish my sentence, Dash interrupted. "There it is, Apple Acres!" She said pointing to the chockful of apple trees.

"Whoa, this place is a livestock, I mean, it's full of apples and stuff, ha ha!" I said amazed by the sight.

Dash had descended onto the clearing where there was a barn. "Wow, I'm amazed I made it in one piece this time, nice flying RD!" I said giving a thumbs up.

All of a sudden Pinkie Pie popped out of the front of the barn shouting "TWITCHY TAIL!!!" while ducking into a nearby apple bush.

"Huh..?" I said, all of a sudden something heavy fell on my head. I fell slightly unconscious onto the ground.

"Alex, Alex, are you okay!?" asked Pinkie Pie, looking overhead.

"Alex...Ale...A..."The two voices were fading away. I completely passed out

"Ugh." I said still half knocked out from whatever hit me in the head. I started to recover slowly.

"W...w, st...ll...h...got...in...head" I started hearing voices, though one of them was new.

"What happened..?" I said waking up on a pile of hay.

"There's been too many hay encounters lately... starting to feel like Ezio..." I thought, shaking my head to recover of what was left from the pain in my skull.

"Oh, Ah was hopin' yer not too hurt, sugarcube." said the new voice.

Once I opened my eyes completely, I saw a caramel- colored pony standing beside me as I sat up on the hay.

"Uh...I'm guessing..." I paused.

"Is there somethin' wrong?" she questioned.

"You're Applejack, right?" I asked scratching my head.

"Heh, yer right 'bout that, partner." said Applejack, smiling. "Twi told me 'bout a mysterious creature her n' Spike found gettin' that checklist of hers done, wouldn't have reckon it'd be something like you, I thought you'd be slightly more fearsome n' such." She said, looking at me with peculiar eyes.

"For the last time I'm not a-- oh forget it, I give up...." I thought to myself.

"Anyways, the name's Applejack and there's no truth I ain't willing to lie 'bout!" She said offering a "handshake".

"Oh, well it's nice to meet you Applejack, my name's Alex, and there's no person other than me who's seen flying pigs!" I said "handshaking" Applejack's hoof.

"Beg yer pardon?" She said with a disturbed glare.

"U-Uh, nothing, ha ha..." I said trying to clear the misunderstanding.

"I hear you came from another world, ain't that so?" Applejack said trying to arrange some of the haystacks.

"That's right, thing is though, I have no idea how I got here...last thing I remember was getting hit by a--" I had held my breathe in an instant to not tell.

"Hit by a what?" asked Applejack.

"Nothing at all..." I replied with a sweaty face.

"Hmm, what's yer problem, Alex, somethin' troublin' ya?" Applejack asked looking at me with a serious expression.

"It's just that..." I paused for a while.

{"What's wrong with you, Alex?" asked Julia.

"Nothing. I just want to be left alone, okay." I said resting my head with my arms on the desk.

"Just tell me, otherwise you'll keep freezing up and you won't get your point across, and ano--}

"...thing!" said Applejack.

"W-What, huh, who..?" I said whipping my head around.

"Ya okay there, Alex?" She asked, trying to calm me down.

"Yeah, just... some stuff on my mind." I said drooping my head.

"Hmm, well anyways, we'd best be gettin' to preparin' for Celestia's party!" She said bucking the last of the haystacks she arranged into the assortment.

"Gotcha, so what are you in charge of for the party?" I asked looking around the barn.

"Well for starters, hows about helpin' me collect them apples out there, at least enough for the party!" Applejack said opening the two retractable doors to the barn, then all of a sudden Pinkie busted through the doors saying "TWITCHY TAIL" again as she ducked behind the assorted haystacks.

I was again confused by those words, then the moment I tried heading towards outside, Applejack jumped towards me and she landed on top of me with her hooves stamped firmly to the ground.

"Applejack, what in the world are you do--" Applejack raised her left hoof to view what she just saved me from, there was a crushed piano right where I was walking.

"W-What the..." I was planted still where Applejack had caged me.

"That there was a close one, that could have seriously hurt ya, Alex." said Applejack.

"Seriously hurt....SERIOUSLY HURT...THAT WAS A FREAKING PIANO, I COULD HAVE DIED!" I thought to myself with frightened eyes underneath Applejack.

"Good think Pinkie Pie came runnin' by before somethin' went wrong!" Applejack said sighing.

"I guess, but all she keeps screaming is twitchy tail, she told me is one of her..."Pinkie Senses" and I have no idea what that means." I said tapping one of Applejack's hoof to get off me.

"Well since yer new, I'll tell ya." She said dragging Pinkie Pie from her hiding place.

"Ya see, the thing is..." before she could explain, Pinkie Pie interrupted.

"Oooooh, I smell cupcakes!" Pinkie said, zooming out the barn without any hesitation.

"Uh..."I said still recovering from the shock of getting almost killed.

"I would asked where the piano came from also, but... never mind, heh." I said, trying to figure out where it did come from in the first place.

"Nah, it's fine and dandy... just should handle them apples while yer here, 'kay?" Applejack said tipping her hat up a bit.

"Yup, I DID come to help after all!" I said laughing.

"Just as long as there aren't anymore falling pianos as soon as we reach outside..." I thought to myself as I followed Applejack outside of the barn.

A few minutes have passed as I helped Applejack pick the apples needed for Celestia's party, it took a while, but we've almost picked the right amount. "We've almost picked enough, just wish we had an easier way to do it..." I said.

Something had came to mind, and I stopped picking apple for a moment.

"Ooooooooo wee, that roundin' up sure was fun, sadly though, we still need more apples!" Applejack said still bucking tree after tree.

"Hey Applejack!" I shouted to her.

"What in tar nation..!?" She replied, turning to look where I was.

"Watch this!" I said as I stood still giving a starting bow. I moved back to give myself a head start, aiming myself at an apple tree, then I ran forward, jumped into the air and did a somersault, kicking a load full of apples off the tree and ended with a backflip finish.

"Whoa, that was amazin', Alex!" Applejack said, stomping the ground as if she was clapping for me.

"Well, considering I'm kind of an athlete and all... it's nothing, but thanks Applejack." I said giving a final bow.

"Mind teachin' me some of those fancy moves, would make this apple collectin' a little more fun!" Applejack asked with a glowing face.

"Well, I guess a pony can be acrobatic...can they?" I thought to myself.

"Sure thing, I wouldn't mind teaching you, ha ha, it's not everyday that you come across a human as awesome as me!" I said, arrogantly walking over to the next nearby apple tree. I then slipped one of the apples I knocked off the other tree and fell flat on my face.

"..." I said nothing as I laid flat on my face in embarrassment.

"Uh..." Applejack was readying to say something.

"No...that wasn't part of my fancy moves, Apple..." I said bluntly.

I told Applejack that I'd teach her a few of my acrobatic skills after the party ordeals are over, she agreed to the decisions. Rainbow Dash came back on her cloud again to see how things were being handled, and decided to enjoy a little apple cider drink along with Applejack and I.

"So, how'd the apple picking go!" asked Dash.

She leaned towards me and whispered "Wasn't it booooooooring?" She snickered a little afterwards.

"Nah, it was actually kind of fun!" I said smiling.

"the sky seems to be darkening up a little, hey, don't you need to help Rarity with some decorations or something?" asked Dash.

"Yeah, good idea, ya'll better be gettin' ready for tonight, Ah'm sure Celestia'll be so surprised to see us throw her a big party!" said Applejack, sipping down the last of her cider.

After all of our apple cider was gone, and everything in order, me and Dash headed towards Rarity's Boutique.

"Hey Rainbow Dash..." I sad.

"Yeah Alex?" She replied while focusing on the her flying.

"I...kinda have this feeling that this place feels just like home, but...better" I said, hiding my face in my arms.

"He he... well Alex, Equestria is our world, and we always do what we can to keep it just how it is, just to...ooh nevermind, Twilight should be saying that sort of stuff!" Rainbow Dash said laughing.

"Heh..." I smirked a little and turned my head to the moonlight sky, looking at the stars.

"Yea..."

Chapter 5:Rarity, The Fashionista!

View Online

Me and Rainbow Dash had finally got to Rarity's house/shop, without having to worry about her bad flying again.

"He he, we made it, I-I mean um... nice flying Dash!" I said hiding my happiness of safety.

"What'd ya expect, I'm an ace flying pegasus who never makes the same mistake twice!" said the ecstatic blue pegasus pointing her hoof to herself.

"ha ha, I see..." I said putting a grin on my face.

"It was actually three times, but...who's counting?" I thought to myself.

Dash dropped me off right on the front carpet and we both waved at each other until she was out of sight for the time being. I looked up into the sky once more. " Wow, this day's been kinda interesting." I said sighing in stress.

I walked towards Rarity's door and knocked lightly.

"Rarity, Rarity, it's me, are you in there?" I said still standing near the door.

I checked to see if the door was unlocked, then it turned out it was, so I let myself inside while closing it on entry. Once I was inside, I heard a faint breathing sound.

"I feel like I'm in some horror movie..." I thought to myself, gulping.

I decided to go check things out.

"Um, Rarity, are you there..?" I said, trying to check if she was home.

"Rari--" to my surprise I found Rarity passed out on the floor full of fabrics, threads, jewels, and sewing needles.

"Rarity, Rarity, what happened!?" I said holding her head in my arms.

"Oh it's just simply horrible, horrible, hooooooooorible!" Said the worked up unicorn.

"W-What is?" I asked trying to hold my will to cry a little. "Was it bad!?" I asked hesitantly

"Yeeeeeeeeeeeeees!" She replied whining.

"Please tell me!" I said still supporting her head on my arm.

"It's...it's...it's...!" Rarity was trying to calm herself down.

"It's what!?" I asked waiting to know.

"MY DRESS IS MISSING A MATCHING GEM!!!" she continued whining.

"THAT'S HORRIB--" My will to cry disappeared as soon as I realized what she just said.

"Wait...WHAT!?" I said with a blunt expression.

"See, that awful dress is missing one crimson red sapphire gem, it's hideous!" Rarity said fainting once more.

"Ah..." I stood there supporting the dramatic unicorn.

{"Eww, that shirt's too tacky, it's practically missing some jewels to it." said Jessica.

"Come on, it's not that bad and besides... it still looks great to me!" said Mia.

"Riiiiiiight, the day manicures aren't so pretty is the day that thing's got style..."}

"Ahaha...Rarity..." I said, replacing my arm with one of the pillows from her nearby couch.

"Wow, Rarity, to think you were ..." I paused for a reason.

"I can't call her a Drama Queen...she probably doesn't know what that mean." I thought to my self shifting my eyes away from Rarity.

Rarity looked at me and thought something was wrong, I shook my head of the idea of telling her what I was thinking and popped one of the jewels that were on my pants off and showed it to Rarity.

"Oh my, you'd...you'd really donate a gem for me, and it MATCHES the set!" Rarity said with sparkling eyes.

She took the gem out of my hand and stitched it right away on the dress in a flash.

"Voila, all better!" She said taking off her glasses she swept on quickly.

"It's best not to tell her these gems are a bit fake... but if she's happy, I can't ruin that!" I thought to myself with a smile.

"Uh... oh right!" I tapped Rarity on the tail to get her attention.

"H-Huh!?" She reacted.

"That was VERY impolite, Alex!" She said lashing out to me and turning her head back to the dress.

"S-Sorry... I just wanted to ask who the dress was for?" I asked preventing my hands from touching her anywhere else.

"Ah, well since you're so curious, Alex, it's for Princess Celestia, she'll be so beautiful in this dress, even if her looks are ravishing already!" She said with sparkles in her eyes again.

"Oh, wow she's got some great people to... I-I mean ponies who love her." I said, as I watched Rarity pick up the finishing touches on the dress with her magic to keep it still.

"Heh, I guess you're busy..." I said looking at her tail again.

"...poke." I said slightly poking her tail again.

"Eep!" Rarity said in a small shriek, then she turned around and put on a serious expression at me.

"Rarity... sorry, it just too much fun, haha." I said with a half distinct laugh.

She still looked at me seriously, then she put on a smile. "I ...suppose it was kinda funny, hehe." Rarity said ironically.

After a while I helped her finish the decorations for the party, then we were wiped afterwards.

"*pant* *pant* I-I... guess you girls don't have clocks do you *pant pant*" I said tiredly.

"N-Nevermind." I said.

Since I had to run around a lot to get certain materials quickly, my recovery wasn't instantaneous.

"I thank you for your help, darling!" said Rarity.

"Nah, it's *pant* nothing at all...haha." I said.

Rarity gave a mischievous look behind my back and then she poked my back with her horn.

"W-What in the world!" I said jumping up then falling down off the couch.

Rarity laughed at my reaction in a rather "fancy" manner.

"Revenge~♪" She said.

"You totally got me there!" I said laughing on the floor.

"The party's about to begin in a few more hours, I should go." I said getting off the floor and heading towards the door.

"Right when I was about to prepare for my leave, Rarity grabbed my hand with her hoove.

"Hmm, what is it Rarity?" I asked to the purple maned unicorn.

"Well, you don't expect to go out looking like that, you must take a bath,Alex!" She replied trying to push me to her nearby bath.

"W-Wait, R-Rarity, it's fine, I'll do that later... r-really." I said trying not to be nudged any further towards the tub.

"Hmph, if you don't move along and take a bath, I'll do this the hard way." Rarity said pouting her face.

I wasn't budging at all.

"Aaaaaaaaaand how will you make me do that,huh?" I said crossing my arm and putting on an arrogant expression.

She pouted more.

I was in the tub in a moment's notice, I dove my head up above the surface of the water in the tub.

"Well, using magic was cheating..." I said trying to take my bath in peace.

Then I heard someone stepping in, I rose my head up all the way to my shoulders where the bubbles covered most of my chest.

"What the heck's going on here?" I said looking to see who it was.

Next thing I knew it, it was a cat, a BIG one, but it had a bow on it's head and continued walking care freely around the tub then fell asleep.

"Phew, thought it was Rarity...though I bet she's still working on the decorations a little more." I said laughing quietly for the cat to fall asleep.

"Hmm, come to think of it, I didn't see this cat anywhere...where did it even come from?" I said thinking of possible reasons.

All of a sudden the door came open again, slower than last time.

"Oh, another cat, huh?" I said, rising out of the tub.

"I hope maybe if I can cover "it" up, I won't traumatize the poor..." before I finished, the door opened completely, and Rarity came walking with a brush in her mouth.

"A-w-w-wha..!?" I was stunned with my hands covering my parts and I rushed back into the tub.

"Rarity dropped the brush with a bedazzled expression.

"Oh...my..." She said, shaking her head to clear out the image she saw.

"I-It's not what you saw WAS real okay, R-R-Rarity!?" I said stuttering, blushed a little in the bubble bath.

"I SERIOUSLY let a pony see my "thing", what the heck, man, what the heck" I thought to my self face palming myself repeatedly.

"Well, I was...just in admist of finishing my designs when I realized I forgot to hand you something to...wash with." Rarity said, still in a star gazed expression.

"So...why did you c-choose now to come!?" I said still with my head dove close to the surface of the water.

"I wanted to make it up to you by washing your mane...and...what exactly was that...that I just saw--" I interrupted Rarity's sentence. "It's was NOTHING, NOTHING AT ALL, IT WAS A FIGMENT OF YOUR IMAGINATION!" I shouted, almost waking up the cat.

Rarity shook her head once more and picked up the brush she had dropped by her mouth and smiled at me.

"Um, Rarity before I force you to stop with what you were planning to do and say...I'm not a pony, pegasus, or unicorn for that matter...so basically I've got no mane." I said blunty.

"Ah, seriously Alex, it's just a way of thanking you, for both the help and out of kindness, now be generous and accept my thanks okay." Rarity said pouting.

"S-Sure, why not..." I said blushing in the bath of bubbles. "You'd probably just use magic on me again anyways if I refuse..."

"Indeed I would." She happily replied.

As time pass, me and rarity could hear the ponies outside talking and preparing for Celestia's party in excitement.

"I suppose washing your...how do you say it... "back" is fun, is it not?" Rarity said, still brushing away.

"Well, I guess it is... feeling kinda good right now." I said calming my mind and looking out of the window in the bathing area.

"Is this as close as a pony can get to a human...?" I thought to myself as I closed my eyes, feeling relaxed.

"Hey, Rarity?" I asked her.

"Why yes, what is it, darling?" Rarity replied, grabbing a water bucket to wash off my back.

"You...um, look like a gorgeous marshmallow... " I said with a smile.

"W-Whatever do you mean by that!?" She asked, dropping the bucket.

"Don't worry, I was saying... this party's going to be great." I replied, still smiling, then Rarity smiled back.

Rarity had used the water bucket to wash my back and I decided I had spent enough time in my bath, I asked Rarity to leave, but then she started to question something.

"Oh, by the way, Alex...I wanted to ask..." she said almost walking out.

"Hmm, yeah, what's wrong?" I asked as I placed my hands on the side ends of the tub, ready to get out.

"That's a ...very weird place to have your horn if you're surprisingly half unicorn..." She said putting her hoof over her mouth in confusion.

"W-WHA--" I said pausing and making a splash right back in the water.

"Crap, she really did see, THIS ISN'T GOOD!" I thought to myself as I sat in the tub until she left.

Rarity walked back over to me. "What's wrong,Alex?" Rarity asked, looking at me with alluring and guilty eyes.

"..." I said nothing.

"END THE CHAPTER, END IT NOW, NOW, NOW!" I said to the...well...let's just end it for now for who's ever reading this.

Chapter 6:Guest Of Honor, Princess Celestia

View Online

Well, now that the horribly misleading and crazy fan-service moment is out of the way, we turn towards the coming of the party. There were earth ponies, pegasi, and unicorns all here for the guest of honor, Princess Celestia. The party was in still in after planning, but before all of us: Twilight, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Rarity and Fluttershy could go there,but we had a little problem we had to figure out before leaving Twilight's place.

"Whaaaaaaaaaat!?" I said with shock.

"I'm really sorry, Alex, but there's just no way we can let you go to this party seen by almost everypony in Ponyville."Twilight said with disappointment.

"Sorry, sugerhone, there would be some ponies askin' lots of questions about ya." implied Applejack with her hat tilted down with her hoof.

"Yea, but the party would be SUUUUUUUPER if you were there, not to mention MEEEE!~" said Pinkie in a somewhat caring and happily disappointed way.

I looked at the moon, thinking of something, a way I could get into that party without being seen so easily.

"What if I..." I was thinking in the moment, then Fluttershy came flying down over from the library's patio to come support me.

""I know mister Alex would love the princess's party...is it really so wrong to let him be there?" she asked in a soft,serious tone.

The other five ponies, including me, looked at Fluttershy's surprised confidence and they started thinking of a way to get me into that party.

Rainbow Dash took on a a smug look in an attempt of what seemed like an idea of hers "I could always ride the cloud there and--" though Dash was cut short by the glaring eyes of everybody shaking their heads. "Hahaha...I got nothing." She said as she went back to thinking.

"Oh, what if he went in a disguise?" Spike suggested.

"A disguise!" I restated snapping my fingers. "That'd be perfect, though...what would I be disguised as?" I asked said scratching my head.

"Oh, Oh, Oh, Oooooooooh!" Pinke kept saying, flailing her hooves around wildy. "I knows what Alex's disguise could be, I really, REALLY know!" She shouted as everyone looked at her in confusion.

Twilight gave a blank look on her face. "Pinkie, for the last time, just because you put a mustache on somepony doesn't mean--" Pinkie interrupted her. "No, no, no, it's something else!"

"Something else?" Everyone asked altogether.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In less than a few minutes I was disguised as a giant cupcake...no wait, I was INSIDE the cupcake--- thought up by your friendly and silly neighborhood mare, Pinkie Pie!
"Where did you even get a giant cupcake...?"Twilight said staring at me struggling inside of the enlarged bake treat.
"Oh that's easy, while I was with Mr. and Mrs. Cake, I was given the duty ...tehehe, duty....to make a grand fantastically wonderful batch of cupcakes for this grand party, buuuuuuut they said it wasn't what they had in mind and so I kept it just in case of an emergency!" Pinkie said, pointing her hoof over at the giant cupcake, which I've finally settled in.
There was a hollow area within it that had little peep holes that I could see through, it was conveniently a perfect fit. "It...it smells like blueberry..." I said as I continued to inhale the delicious scent.
"Yup-a-roony~♪" Pinkie happily said.
Rarity walked over to me as I stuck my head out of the top of the cupcake. "Oh my, Alex, you look quite delectable." she commented with a small giggle.
"Haha, couldn't agree with ya more, Rare." said Applejack.
"You look like a big and adorable cupcake, mister Alex." said Fluttershy flying overhead of the cupcake.
"Oh god, what have I gotten my self into this time, CURSE YOU PINKIE PIE"
"I can barely move..." I said with a plundering expression. "And you just HAD to say disguise didn't you, Spike!?" I said with a devilish grin that spooked him.
"Hey, at least I gave you an idea that actually worked right?" Spike shrugged and smiled as Rainbow Dash looked over to us talking and focused back on Twilight discussing on how this plan may actually work.
"Well at least we were able to come up with a plan to get Alex into Princess Celestia's party without getting spotted by by anypony else, now girls let's get ready to celebrate!" Twilight said walking over to me inside the cupcake.
"Rarity, will you help me carry Alex and the cupcake to the party?" Twilight asked.
"What, but what if I get blueberry in my precious mane..." Rarity said tending her mane with care.
Twilight let out a small sigh "Rarity..."
"Oh, alright,I just hope it isn't too heavy." Rarity said using her magic along with Twilight to lift me and the cupcake up.
"Hey, I'm not that heavy you know." I said pouting.
"Okay, I'll see you guys at the party, oooooh I hope the Wonderbolts were booked for this party, woohoo!" Dash said speeding out of the library ahead of everyone else.
"A party for the princess, hmm, I'll finally be able to see Equestria's beloved ruler." I mumbled to myself.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Soon afterwards, everything pointed to Celestia's party, there was so much dancing, flying, singing, and stomping of the hooves on the dance grounds.Rarity was with other ponies complementing how fabulous her decor was, Twilight taking inventory over everything that must be present for the party, Pinkie Pie...was just being Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash searching high and low for signs of the something, Applejack giving away apple related treats to keep everypony full for the night, and Fluttershy was readying her birds to sing for the arrival of Princess Celestia, and I was right besides her while she did so. While in the moment I'm stuck watching THEM have fun and I'm here on the sidelines at the fruit tables just standing...inside a giant cupcake.

"Well...at least it smells delicious inside."

Near me I saw Fluttershy with her bird chorus, looking at everypony in the same way as me.

"Hey Fluttershy?" I asked looking at her from inside of the giant cupcake. Her eyes had widened and she shook her head and responded back.

"Oh, hello mister Alex, isn't it beautiful, I'm happy everypony is having a good time." She said in her soothing voice as usual.

I looked at Fluttershy in confusion "Well, aren't you going to go join them..?" I asked.

Fluttershy looked at the ground. "No... it's fine mister Alex, I'm happy standing her until I ready my little birdies to sing for Princess Celestia..." She said hiding her face behind her mane.

"Fluttershy..." I said almost bursting into manly tears .

"That's right, MANLY!"

I snuck out of the back of the giant cupcake so that no ponies who were still focused on dancing didn't see me and crept close behind Fluttershy and poked her tail.

Fluttershy gave a tiny gasp. "H-Huh?" she said actively blushing.

"Fluttershy, let me." I said, grabbing Fluttershy's left hoof and hastily went to a nearby secluded forestry opening where the party music could be heard.

When we got to the opening, Fluttershy wasn't really sure what was going on. "Mister A-Alex, why are we here?" Fluttershy asked.

I placed my hand out to her and she gave a surprised expression to why I did so. "We...should enjoy our time at this party as well as everyone else, shall we Fluttershy?" I said bowing with my hand still out.

"Oh...I..." Fluttershy tapped both of her front hooves together. "I don't know mister Alex...I should just wait until my little blue jays and I are--" suddenly I grabbed Fluttershy's hoof gently and I spun her around slowly then back to me.

"Wow, that was something I've never done before!" She said, surprised.

I looked at Fluttershy's blush filled face. "Well, this IS how you're supposed to feel at a party such as this." I said smiling at her.

Fluttershy gave in and we started to dance around the forest floor, swaying with the music as if we were the only ones at a party of our own. Later we ended up with a fantastic salsa.(May seem hard to do it with a pegasus, but we made it possible!) Fluttershy was flying most of the time while we were dancing. As we ended our fun, Fluttershy let go of my hand and she turned away from me, hiding her face with giddy.

"Huh, what's wrong Fluttershy, I didn't do something wrong did I ?" I asked.

"I couldn't have stepped on her hooves like I did to Mia's feet at that prom ...did I,wait no... she was flying the whole time!"

Fluttershy seemed to have kept clapping her front hooves together anxiously. "I just enjoyed the time we were having, and I-I can't thank you enough for a wonderful experience...mister Alex..."

"Huh?" I asked.

"I... I said, I..." Fluttershy turned around with a flustered face.

"Uh oh, d-did I over do it on the charming?"

"I loved dancing with you mister Alex, it was so much fun!" She said with lots of energy, then she fled straight towards me and hugged me to the ground.

"Um, you're welcome, Fluttershy, heh heh." I said trapped by a pegasus's hug.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Later after my struggle to get out of Fluttershy's hug, we immediately got ourselves together and walked back to the party grounds and back to our places, but people started to crowd the cupcake that I used as a disguise.
"Gah, what are they doing to my cupcake!?" I said in shock.
"I think they're eating it mister Alex." Fluttershy implied.
"Aw great without that cupcake I'm STOMPED!!!" I said as my voice echoed from the forest opening me and Fluttershy came from. The echo captured all of the ponies, pegasi, and unicorn's ears and they turned in shock of the sight of a human."Uh...oh..." I murmured.
There were a dozen or more eyes that were and weren't turned to the cupcake that was now at me. I saw Fluttershy panicking and saw Twilight deliver a devastating face of both disappointment and guilt. I felt as if I screwed everything up, but it couldn't be helped.
"Oh my, what is that!?" asked a pegasus.
"Is it some kind of dragon or pony?" asked an earth pony herself.
"Not like anyone I've seen before, do you thing it's from Canterlot?" asked a stallion.
"Maybe it's here to eat us!" shouted a unicorn.
After that comment the entire crowd of ponies panicked at the sight of me. "W-Wait I'm not gonna eat you...just...I came here--" I was interrupted by one of the pony's screams.
"Calm down everypony, Alex is harmless he wouldn't hurt anypony, not EVEN Fluttershy!" shouted Twilight.
"He's a super fun person to be with, and he even smells like blueberry just to make him all the more delicious and lovable!" Pinkie yelled, earning a few confused glares from some of the terrified ponies.
"Why yes, Alex has even helped me with this party's decor!" said Rarity stamping down.
"Alex is a truly great person, won't ya'll at least give him a chance!" said Applejack.
The entire party was ruined still, because of my discovery. "Oh man, this looks bad..." Rainbow Dash shouted as she flew everywhere with worry.
I looked at the panicked ponies all standing in a bunch , looking at me with frightened eyes. I took one step towards them, they took a step back, a few hitting the pegs that were keeping the banner for Celestia together. I just said nothing and walked in the opposite direction of the crowd, right out of the scene of the party.
"Alex..." the six ponies who cared for me stood side by side and watched me leave.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I headed towards Twilight's house, and I noticed that everypony was indeed at that party, meaning the grounds of Ponyville was almost completely empty. "Man, I just get here in one day and I'm already messing things up..." I said going through all of Twilight's bookshelves.

"Huh,Alex, what are you doing here, weren't you at the party?" Spike asked in what seemed to be a sleepy disposition. I just stared at the worn out dragon who probably just woke up, and said nothing. "Hey, Alex?" He asked again and again and again.

"Just leave me alone you darn lucky dragon... least you're different and you don't have to go through the same stuff I have to go through..."

"Spike, I'm trying to find a book on how to port to another world..." I sad with a fake grin.

"Oh, if you need one of those, I think it's right in me and Twilight's room." He replied.

"Oh, cool, thanks Spike!" I said dashing upstairs.

I halted my rush then suddenly dashed back down and stared at Spike. "Did you just say you and Twilight's room...?" I asked still glaring at the purple miniature dragon.

"Yeah...why ask that-- OOOOOH, I see what you're saying!" Spike said with a distinct laugh, I laughed in unison.

"Nah...a pony and a dragon... GET OUT, haha!"

I snapped out of the humor and returned to bolting upstairs to try and find a book that could take me back to my world. "I knew that coming to this world wouldn't last long." I said approaching Twilight's and Spike's room. "Hmm... it's got to be here somewhere." I said shuffling through the bottom of Twilight's bed.

"Alex..." said a familiar voice from where there was an outside balcony.

I saw Twilight there with worried eyes. "Ah...Twilight..." I said still shuffling through her books under her bed.

"Why did you leave without saying anything...?" she said in a sorrowful tone.

"Why wouldn't I... they all treated me like a monster or some unwanted outcast." I replied lying on Twilight's bed with lost hope in finding the book. "I just think I don't belong in this world in this world, the longer I stay here, the worse things might possibly get.!" I looked at Twilight. She teleported herself right on top of the bed with her hooves crossed.

"Well I can't say I've never been there before or anything, but it's only because --" I interrupted her by saying "It's the Scream-O's unicorn pic, right..?" I said in a mild voice.

"Excuse me?" asked Twilight in mid sentence.

I told Twilight about the picture Spike showed me behind her back, she reacted with a slight blush and temper. "Spike, come here for a second, please?" she called out. Spike quickly ran up stairs and gave a saluting stance.

"Oh, yes Twilight, what is it that you need?"

Twilight gave a small grin. "Oh Spike, would you be so kind to tell me when you took...THIS!?" She held the exact same photo that Spike had shown me of her while she sported piercing eyes at him.

"Yup, that was tooke--WH-WHERE'D you get that...!?" Spike gulped as he looked at his sleeping area near Twilight's bed then back at her.

"Oh no matter how I got it, because nopony will ever see it again, right?" Twilight said looking at Spike with a solemn tone now.

"Uh...um...n-no." He replied, burning the photo with his flames. Spike turned his attention to me.

"Wasn't me, Spike, honest!" I whispered to him, he smiled a little and walked back downstairs.

"Sorry little dude, promise not to get you in trouble again... just don't suggest any more disguises okay?"

"Well now that that's out of the way." Twilight laid down back in her content position. "Alex, you should go back to that party and tell how you got here and what made you come to the party."She used her magic to take the book I held in my hands, I looked at it floating, noticing that the book I held was the one I was looking for. "Do you really want to leave Equestria..?" She said with saddened eyes, placing the book beside her left hoof on the bed.

I wasn't sure what to say to the tearing purple unicorn. "Sorry Twilight...I..." I said, staring at the book Twilight laid beside her.

"I understand Alex." replied Twilight, with few tears in her eyes. "I had thought I made a special new friend from another world...guess I was--" Twilight was interrupted by my hand petting her mane, She turned to me.

"W-What's this?" She reacted with a small amount of tears still coming from her eyes.

"Well, you didn't let me finish my sentence!" I said spatting my tongue out humorously. "I was going to say sorry for trying to do this so fast, I probably should've talked it out with all those poinies , I mean come on... I STILL smell like blueberries, who wouldn't want to get to know me better!" I said smiling.

Twilight chuckled as she held back her tears and swiped them, Spike came in the room with food for us, then Twilight used her magic to levitate then throw a carrot into my laughing mouth.

"Pfft,pfft, h-hey,what was that for!?" I asked with a small hint of rage.

"Well, d-don't get me so worked up, Alex, though...it is glad to have you staying here with us." She replied with an ecstatic expression.

"Hehehe, yea...I suppose so..." I said staring at the book that Twilight had near her still. It was marked as "Magic To Use To Travel Into New Worlds".

"Such a wonderful student...I'm happy that I entrusted him upon you." said a voice that was new to me that was coming from the balcony. "Oh my, is that you!?" asked Twilight, lifting her head in surprise, though I was completely confused.

"I think that was the princess." Spike said setting the food down as soon as he came up stairs, he followed Twilight onto the balcony.

I thought for a minute, wait princess...you mean Princess Celestia!?" I said with widened eyes. I darted outside onto the balcony only to find Spike and Twilight standing in front of a mystical pony I've never seen before!

"The one and only, Alex!" Twilight happily replied.

I continued to observe what only seemed to be the silhouette of the princess shining in the moonlight, but once the light became less dense, I saw the spectacular pegasus..no,pony...no, unicorn, um, ALL OF THE ABOVE. It was the alicorn princess, Princess Celestia herself!

"Whoooooooooa" I said keeping my eyes glued to the majestic princess.

"Haha, seems you've taken your welcome quite well, aren't I right?" Celestia asked with a gracious smile.

"Whoooooooooa"I continued with my mouth opened with awe, then Twilight tapped my shoulder with her hoof and looked at me with a lively face.

"W-Wow it's just an honor!" I said bowing down,but accidentally tripped and fell on my face.

Celestia gave a small chuckle. "You're indeed clumsy, aren't you Alex?" She asked.

I regained my balance and thought about the party that was specially set up for her. "Wait...isn't there that party everypony's throwing for you though?" I asked.

"Oh that's right, Princess why didn't you go to you're party, all of the ponies in Ponyville pitched in to help make it." Twilight implied.

Celestia nodded her head " I just decided to hurry over from Canterlot to see my most faithful pupil."

"Canterlot?" I asked,thinking about what it could possibly be. "Is it some sort of cake... cause it actually sounds delicious." a little of drool can from my mouth which I had to quickly wipe off. There was also a voice from outside screaming "Cake!" really loudly from the direction where the party is. Twilight, Spike, Princess Celestia, and I all said in unison "Pinkie Pie."

"Well it's not a cake,Alex." Spike said popping my thought bubble with his short claws.

"Aw..." I pouted.

"It's the town I came from, Alex!" Twilight corrected my perspective on the matter.

"Well, we'll have plenty of time to tell you about that at my party that I'm truly looking forward to." Said Celestia.

"I hope it'll roll smoothly even though...that whole event just occurred."

"Ah, I almost forgot about the party, forgive me Princess Celestia!" Twilight bowed her head.

Princess Celestia flew to a chariot that had two pegasi in armor awaiting for her majesty, then Celestia looked back at me.

"H-Huh?" I said noticing her staring at me.

"Care to join me on my ride back to the party,Alex?" She asked making her self comfortable, and leaving room for the rest of us three.

"W-Woah,really,sweetness!" I said fistpumping.

Twilight,Spike and I board ourselves upon Celstia's chariot, and with ease, the two pegasi who were carrying us lifted off into the sky and we headed in the direction of the party. As we were sailing through the sky, I was thinking of what I could possibly do to resolve the issue I created with the whole cupcake and hiding incident, I felt like I was out of options, but I decided to let fate take it's path for me.

"Heh, I guess a second chance would be best..." I told myself.

Chapter 7:Guest Of Honor, Princess Celestia [Part 2]

View Online

Along the way to the party, Celestia,Twilight, Spike, and I were enjoying the overhead night sight of Ponyville, it was a spectacular view. Princess Celestia ordered the guards to take their time to arrive at the party for all of us to relax before mingling with the other ponies.

"Wow, the view from here is great!" I said looking down at Ponyville in awe.

"I suppose Rainbow Dash's flying never let you experience this view, huh?" Twilight implied laughing.

"Hey, is Rarity at the party, Alex?" Spike asked tugging on my shirt with nervousness.

"Oh yeah, she was being complimented on her designs by some pegasi." I said, watching him blush a little over some weird thought.

"Obviously Spike's in love."

"Oh, and I think...she said something about you too." I said looking in the opposite direction from Spike.

"Really!?" Spike said with anticipation.

"Yeah, she'll be happy that you're there!" I replied with a smile.

"Did you hear that Twilight!?" Spike said, turning to Twilight while I sat patiently, enjoying the view of Ponyville with Celestia.

I looked at Celestia, she looked down upon the town with a warm smile, she seemed so modest and humble, like the kind of princess I expected her to be. There wasn't much I could tell just by her appearance, but what she said at the library had me thinking...did she know me? Was my existence to Celestia known before I even came to Equestria? Did she stalk me back in my world without me even knowing!? What secrets are she hiding? All of those questions haunted me, but first I had to know what she meant when she told Twilight when she "entrusted me upon her".

"Your most faithful student...I knew it was right to entrust you with me...um, you didn't happen to know my coming into this world... did you?" I asked looking at Celestia, who's focus turned from the town below and now to me.

"Well I suppose I should be honest, but let's talk about this another time, shall we?" She replied with a grin.

"Oh, okay..." I said, feeling a little unsure of myself.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We arrived at the clearing of the party, all cleaned up after the chaos of discovering my existence.
"Look, it's Princess Celestia!" Rainbow Dash shouted, putting her hooves up like a cheer.
All the ponies stopped what they were doing and came stampeding to meet and greet the princess. "Welcome to your super special fantastically wonderful surprise party that's not a surprise party anymore since you know about it now!" Pinkie Pie chanted as everypony joined in on her welcome.
Princess Celestia gave a smile to the ponies of Ponyville as she removed herself from the chariot, which made me visible to everypony at the party.
Pinkie and every other pony gasped at my sight. "It's Alex!" Pinkie Pie said, jumping for joy.
Fluttershy gasped. "It's mister Alex!"
"Oh, he returned, how unexpected!" Rarity said as she stopped admiring her own decorations.
"Well, what do ya know, seems Alex can't stay away for long!" said Applejack smiling with glee.
"I guess all my friends are glad to see you again, Alex." Twilight implied as she got out of the chariot.
Alex gave a smile to the shocked expressions of the ponies who were joy-filled to see him. "Haha...hey wait, where's Pinkie Pie, she was just over there a second ago?" I said looking around the astonished crowd until I caught glimpse of Pinkie putting on the same expressions as the crowd of other ponies who seemed to avoid getting close to him. "What the...what do you have to be afraid of, you already know me!?" I asked with a confusing facial expression.
"Oh, I was just following what everyone else was doing was part of the game, sorry hehe~♪" She replied smiling ironically.
"That pony's...seriously one of a kind..."
I looked at the flock of freaked out ponies, then Twilight stepped forward in front of me and stomped her hoof to grab everypony's attention. "Calm down, please, as me and my friends told you before, Alex isn't bad as you think he is, he's just like the rest of us!" she said with a sharp sense of honesty.
"Twilight..." I looked at all the ponies who still wouldn't come near me. All of a sudden 3 little ponies came up to me and stared at me.
One was a red maned earth pony, another was a purple violet maned unicorn, and the last was a pink manned pegasus.
"Hey, he doesn't look so scary." said the little unicorn.
"Yea, maybe Twi's right, he seems harmless!" said the red maned pony.
"I don't know, is he cool in any way?" said the pegasus who stared at me more cautiously. I pouted at that comment.
The three little ponies looked at each other then back at me. Then a medium voice called out from the crowd "Sorry, excuse me, I am so sorry, pardon me." out of the crowd came a pink colored pony. "Girls, what are you doing?" asked the concerned pony.
"We were just seeing what kinda creature he was, Miss Cheerilee." the red maned earth pony said looking at the pink colored pony with a sappy expression.
"Still, you can't go off and study this "thing" and uh-- no offense, sir." the pink pony said in mid-sentence.
"None taken...wait huh!?" I said shocked after I noticed her calling me a thing again.
"Seriously, they're calling me a "thing" again...ugh forget it..."
After a while, the 3 got scolded and walked back away from me while they continued to look back at me.
"Um..." I stood there behind Twilight waving at the 3 little ponies.
"Am I that good with pony children?"
"Anyways, I hope you all won't think of me badly, like I said before I--" before I could go on, Celestia put her hoof over my shoulder.
The entire crowd of ponies gasped by the physical contact of me and the Princess.
"Princess..?" I asked, wondering why she would want me to stop explaining myself.
"It is alright Alex, I will handle this misunderstanding for you." Celestia whispered, removed her hoof from Alex and gave a smile while approaching in front of the shocked ponies.
"There is nothing to fear my ponies, Alex is a harmless human being who's heart is in the right place, I assure you, it may be startling at first, but you can come to like him if you gave him a chance." Celestia said aloud, closing her eyes and bowing her head down to everypony, hoping they will hear her plea. The pegasi, unicorns and earth ponies all started whispering and showing very unsure facial expressions about the current situation.
"I accept Alex!" called out Twilight. I looked to Twilight in awe.
"As do I!" said Rarity., with a fierce stare.
"I-I'll accept mister Alex too!" Fluttershy said with a confident voice. (well, as confident as she could get at least.)
"You bet yer fine manes I'll be be acceptin' him!" Applejack said stomping her hoof on the ground.
"Hey if they accept him, I'm game too, Alex doesn't seem bad at all!" Rainbow Dash said and she zipped away from the other pegasi and came over head towards me.
"Of course I'll accept him, I like Alex, he seems so super nice!" Pinkie Pie shouted, hopping out of the crowd of concerned ponies. All five of the ponies who decided to stand up for me came in front of me and looked out to the crowd.
"Wow...just...wow." I stared at the six of them, then looked at Celestia.
Spike broke the silence coming from the chariot saying "Can't you all see, they're all standing up for Alex because they know him very well, give him a chance, okay?"
The crowd of ponies had ceased their chattering, then silenced followed, suddenly there were a few hooves stomping on the ground, then more seemed to follow, along with other ponies nodding their heads. Soon everypony in the crowd began stomping their hooves, nodding their heads, and cheering, almost as if they started to accept me.
"Huh...?" I said with an astonished look. "They're accepting...?" I asked looking at the crowd of ponies with smiles everywhere. The six ponies who defended me were all amazed as well and turned to me.
"We're glad that they all accept --" Twilight stopped mid-sentence and saw a few tears coming from my eyes. I kept a straight face to them.
"Oh Alex..." Fluttershy said, flying next to me for comfort.
"Is there anything the matter, partner" Applejack asked worryingly.
"Yes, you can tell us." Rarity said with a caring tone.
I blinked my eyes once, then I swept my fingers across my eyes. "N-no...I'm crying happy tears..." I replied.
"Aw come on Alex, no need be teary." Spike said.
"He's right, even if you're happy you should turn those sad little guys into something much better like a RAINBOW!" Pinkie said bouncing up and down in excitement.
"Heh, that's Pinkie for you, but really Alex, don't go crying over something like this it was obvious they'd accept you!" Dash said with lots of arrogance. then I looked Dash in the eyes and noticed something.
"Hey, isn't that... a little tear drop on your eyelash RD?" I asked, snickering underneath my breathe. Dash hesitated a bit and glared at me.
"N-no!" She replied, facing the opposite direction. All of the ponies laughed at Dash's ironic lie and we all hugged each other.
Celestia looked at me from afar as the six ponies who were hugging me wasn't aware of it, she winked her right eye at me and I returned a wink back, then began to walk towards me.
"Always rely on a princess to get you out of a jam!"
We all finished hugging and watched as Celestia walked over to me, readying to speak aloud once more. "Everypony, Alex, I want you all to live in peace and harmony and that we will respect Alex as one of our fellow Ponyville...no...Equestrian citizens from now on!" Celestia shone her horn and focused it into the night sky, once her magical bolt hit the center, it exploded into dozens of fireworks that gave of so much color and warmth. In a way, it was like the 4th of July, but in Equestria.
"Wow!" Me and the other six ponies had awe inspiring looks as we seen the fiery images that displayed from Celestia's magical powers.
"This place accept me...for who and what I am." I said smiling.
{Wow, those are the most beautiful fireworks I've ever seen, mom!" said the excited little boy.
"You know...one of these days...those fireworks will be more than just a pretty sight." said the elegant blonde women.
"Really, I can't wait!"}
"Wow, they're so colorful!" Fluttershy said, with sparkling eyes towards the night sky of the magical fireworks.
"They're different from the fireworks at the Grand Galloping Gala,s-so...AWESOME!" Dash said, flying wildly in circles just to admire them from different angles.
"And here I thought Dash WASN'T east to impress, haha."
I looked at Celestia, she was crowded around a spire of ponies of every sort asking her and wishing her the best chants as the greatest princess there is that existed. "She...kinda reminds me of my mother...though she's not here with me right now..." I said mumbling to myself.
"That's very sad to hear, Alex." Twilight said approaching from behind me.
"W-what, wait, T-Twilight you heard that!?" I asked hesitantly.
"No need to worry, I won't tell anypony about it." She stated, smilight at me. I looked at Twilight and smiled and nodded in appreciation. "What a night..." I mumbled to myself.
Chapter 8: Pinkie's Party Problem
View Online
~It was a little well over hours that everypony left after getting to know me very well at the party last night, but most of all, the princess and every other pony had a great time with the fun and festivities that they had. Fluttershy finally cued her bird to sing, Rarity shared some of her designing tips to other ponies, Twilight and Spike enjoyed dancing together (Spike took being flung around with magic exceptionally well!), Applejack made a huge killing in catering everypony there, and Rainbow Dash was still zooming around looking for someone still...preferably the team called the Wonderbolts, and there was Pinkie who was running ALL over the place partying with everypony by making conga lines and having fun having pie eating contests with them. I couldn't have asked for a better party, it's hard to get used to the problematic event that took place before all of this, I would've even ruined it, but in the end all's well that ends well.~
*****
Now it's morning and I just woke up from the area I still had to myself found upstairs where Twilight and Spike slept.
"One of these days, I hope I'm upgraded to something more spacious..." I said cramping to get up from a very uncomfortable position.
As I was walking I took a slight pause and found out that my stomach was growling.
"Out of everything I find edible in the world...I still keep forgetting what I might do for food, I mean sure that apple pie Applejack gave me was delicious but...ow, I'll have to hold on for now." I told myself as I ignored the growling and continued on walking. Once I reached downstairs I saw Twilight and Applejack talking about something. "Good morning you two!" I said with a proud smile.
The two stopped talking and sported a small grin, then I looked at them oddly.
"What seems to be the problem?" I asked, wiping my eyes from the sleepiness.
"Oh, mornin' Alex, hope ya slept well enough!" Applejack said in a friendly manner.
"Alex, sorry if we woke you up with our discussion, me and Applejack were just talking about Pinkie Pie." Twilight said.
I looked at the two ponies and started making a blank expression.
"Is something wrong..?" Twilight asked hastily.
"No...just wondering if ponies in Equestria gossip about other girls just like where I come from." I said with a devious smile.
"W-What,no,no,it's not gossip..!" Twilight replied with a bit of uncomfort.
"C'mon, why would we gossip about poor little good of the kin Pinkie Pie?" Applejack replied, defensively putting her hoof up to me.
"Heheh, s-sorry, kinda was quick to judge on that one." I said shooing my hand showing I'd throw the thought of saying that was gone. "Anyways, what seems to be the problem with Pinkie?"
"Oh, nothing is wrong with her, it's just something...um..." Twilight tried thinking of a word.
"Just Pinkie Pie being too Pinkie Pie?" I asked with an ironic lift of the eyebrow.
"Bingo, partner!" Applejack said with a quick tilt of her hat.
"What's wrong with her, did she run out of party stuff or something?" I asked laughing a little.
"Well, it's no laughing matter, poor Pinkie's been trying to give everypony another party just to continue from last night's." Twilight replied crossing one front hoof over the other.
"Yea, Pinkie Pie's been askin' door to door just to ask anypony to party!" Applejack added.
"Really!?" I said with concern.
"Unfortunately so...Pinkie can be a little overwhelming when it comes to parties." Twilight stated.
I looked at the the troubling expressions of Applejack and Twilight, then I got to wondering how bent out of shape Pinkie must be, not having anyone to party with, I could imagine it being tough on her. Then I thought back to my last party I threw at my house when I tried to invite everyone...they didn't happen to show, only some of my two friends,Nichole and Mia, came and we had a wild movie night. So I had to think of a way to fix this.
"Why don't I check on her?" I asked raising my hand.
"Ah, you'll do that Alex?" Twilight said with glistening eyes of joy.
"Sure, I don't see what's wrong with going over to Pinkie and cheering her up in her whole party craze." I said with a smile.
"Mighty kind of ya, Alex, I'll be havin' a fine apple pie waitin' for ya once yer back!" Applejack said, stamping down her left hoof.
"W-wow really!?" I said with huge excitement, in addition I think my stomach agreed to that as well!
"Forget eating the regular food I usually eat, PIE IS AWESOME!"
Well, I should be off, I bet Pinkie's fine, I know so!" I said as I left Twilight's library.
*****
I strolled along the streets of Ponyville, where most of the ponies greeted me with a "Good morning!", it was safe to say that they took me as a friendly person. Along the way I did encounter some ponies who still thought of me as a creature they wanted to truly avoid.
"Just because they accepted me doesn't me EVERYPONY respects me."
Once I got to Sugar Cube Corner, I found the bakery that Pinkie supposedly lived.
"Wow, so she really does live in a place for sweets, that's gotta be like paradise for her!" I said with a small laugh.
As I approached the front door, I saw a "closed" sign dangling on the door knob.
"Aw what, they're closed!?" I said trying to conserve my anger knowing that the other ponies might get the wrong idea what I may be upset about.
"Aaaaaah, look out belooooooow!" shouted a voice overhead.
"What in the world--Gah!" I said with a slight concussion, I could hardly contain my vision.
"Oh come on another...fainting ...trauma..." I passed out in an instant.
*****
{ "You've got to be the clumsiest person person ever, and I expected you to do my delivery job for one day?" I asked in a bit of an angered tone.
"Oh come now, it wasn't THAT bad..." Mia said,flustered with a ironic smile.
"You slipped off what looked like the tiniest oil spill, rammed a nearby truck with my scouter, the truck tipped over, rammed into the gas station, the thing went into flames which ricocheted off the steel roof, then bounced towards a tree...burning that old lady's house who brings me cookies..." I said facepalming Mia.
"Um, I think...I did get that cat that was stuck in the tree near her house, that counts right?" She said, now laughing and poking my cheek.
"Haha, I guess you're right, I don't know when you'll ever wake up to reality, Mia."}
*****
"Hey, you okay, hellooooooo wake up!?" said a mild mannered voice.
"Hmm, huh, what fell on my head this time..?" I asked while trying to regain my consciousness.
"Are you okay, sir?" asked a blurry blonde maned imaged.
"Ugh, y-yea... I do feel a little better now--" I shook my head and spotted who was talking to me, then paused for a moment to look what appeared to be some sort of out of ordered pair of eyes looking at me.
"Oh, phew I'm glad you're alright, one more unconscious pony then I'd be in A LOT of trouble right now, haha!" The pegasus replied.
"Hope she knows I'm not a pony..."
I sat up from where I passed out near the bakery. "Um...wow I must have knocked my head out wrong...just those eyes--" just before I could finish my sentence, a pair of hooves came over my mouth.
"Eyes... I don't understand?" asked the confused pegasus.
"Ooooooh, Alex was trying to say that ...he was about to tell his name to you!" said Pinkie Pie with a smile.
"Can't tell if that smile is fake or real...even for Pinkie Pie's standards, why'd she put her hooves over my mouth, I was just gonna say her eyes were bizarre that was all."
The blonde maned pegasus picked up what appeared to be a mail carrier bag that had loads of mail coming out of it.
"Speaking of names, sorry for the drop, mister!" she said with in a pleading way.
"Oh, are you okay Alex, hope you're not hurt or you won't be able to party with meeeeeee!" Pinkie said as she put both of her hooves on the end of my cheeks to check if I was still in good condition.
I laughed and removed Pinkie's hooves from my face and rose from the ground. "Don't worry, don't worry I'm fine, thanks for asking!" I immediately returned my attention to the eye-disoriented pegasus. "So, I guess I shouldn't question why you're...n-never mind..."
"No seriously those eyes are kinda weirding me out... but I'm somehow impressed...I could only make googly eyes for like 10 seconds, she beats my record."
"I bet I'd get scolded for asking, heh." I said mumbling to myself and shifting my eyes away from the pegasus.
Pinkie Pie rushed closer to my ear and started to whisper. "Alex, you shouldn't be rude to her!"
The blonde maned pegasus picked up the mail that kept falling out of the bag."Oh right, I forgot to tell you who I am, didn't I?" The pegasus swished her mane and fled in front of me. "It's Derpy Hooves!" She said with a smile.
"D-Der--" I was again interrupted by Pinkie's hoof. I lowered it and asked her why she kept doing that.
"Trust me, just don't say her name, she's very sensitive about it!" She whispered again.
"What, but she seems totally okay...with a name like that." I replied whispering and holding back a distinct laugh.
"Alex!" Pinkie gave a piercing glare I wouldn't have known she'd make.
"Okay okay, I'll take it serious, sorry Pinkie Pie." I said with a sorrowful expression. I coughed a little to break my inner laughter in front of Derpy and started to greet myself.
"*ahem* My name's Alex Mackenzie, nice to meet you Der-- I- I mean blonde maned pegasus!" I said, shifting my eyes away from Pinkie Pie.
"I think I really wanna know what happens if I said Derpy's name..."
"Nice to meet ya, Alex!" Derpy responded, pulling my hand and shaking it with both of her hooves.
"Heheh, by the way Derpy I--" I clasped both of my hands over my mouth, in addition to Pinkie's hooves, and Derpy flared her eyes in surprise.
"Um...I thought I told you what my name was?" She replied while putting her hooves on her side flying around me.
"Yeah, you just told me Derpy!" I said with a smile.
"Wrongo, it's Ditzy Doo!" Ditzy replied fratically.
"W-what...?" I said crossing my arms.
"But you just told me...um, never mind, sorry about getting the wrong name Ditzy Doo, no hard feelings?" I asked, offering a handshake.
"Haha, it's fine, but...it's Derpy." She said shaking my hand.
"-.-..." I smiled sarcastically.
"Well, I have to go deliver this mail and packages or the boss will be mad at me, cya later!" Derpy said, flying off into the sky waving, sadly she kept dropping her bag along the trail down the side almost knocking out everypony crossing beneath her.
Pinkie gave a heavy sigh and smiled at me for my efforts, then I turned to her then back to Derpy's direction. "She's ... um...very unique." I said looking at the clumsy pegasus.
"Like SOME pony I know."
Pinkie then trotted over towards the door to the bakery. "Aw, Mr. and Mrs. Cake closed the bakery at a time like this!?" Pinkie had burst into some very heartbroken tears.
"Mister and misses Cake, weren't those the two you mentioned about that cupcake disguise you got me?" I said asked. She nodded at this and started to wipe her tears from her eyes.
"Oh Pinkie...and here I kinda needed to ask you some--" before I could finish Pinkie popped right in front of my face with a very refreshing attitude.
"What is it that you need~♪" She asked with a hug smile.
"As I said before, NOTHING keeps this pony down...for long"
"Yea, I was coming to search for you to see if you had any...party problems?" I asked looking at her.
"Oh, oh, haha..." Pinkie gave a very distinct laugh then began to shift her eyes like I did off to the side murmuring to herself.
"H-Hey!" I said catching her attention.
"She can't steal that shifting eyes excuse... I can only do that."
"OH, haha, nothing's wrong... besides the fact all my friends didn't want to party with me..." She replied, slowly losing feeling in her explanation.
"Pinkie are you...mad?" I asked.
She said nothing and and swished her face in the opposite direction with gloomy eyes.
"Pinkie?" I said trying to get Pinkie to show her face to me, then the other ponies around the are starting to look at me, thinking I had made Pinkie cry on purpose. "Um, I'll just carry you to the park, y-yea, that'll do!" I said trying to help Pinkie up and into my arms.
"Just because I was carrying her in "princess style" this doesn't prove anything..."
*****
A few minutes later, Pinkie and I were at the park bench where we could see the fountain and with no ponies around whatsoever. Pinkie stared at the fountain while I had kept trying to get her attention. "Hellooooo, Pinkie, you there?" I asked tapping Pinkie's shoulder.
"Oh, sorry about that Alex, I was just thinking about this great party game!" She held her breath for a moment then continued to say...
"It'swhenyoutakeoneponyandanotherpony'stailandtellthemtohangontoeachother'stailuntiloneoftheponiesletgoandifoneoftheponiesdidletgothentheywouldhavetoplaypinthetailontheponyinanentrielynewnewwaysothateveryponycanjoininsothatintheendeveryponywouldwinnomatterwhatyoudoortryandintheendyouevengetfreecakeandicecreamandpieandthenyougettohaveallthe--" I put my hand over Pinkie's mouth before she could go on any longer.
"...somepony's been having too much sugar..."
"W-whoa, you sound like you're having some kind of sugar rush!" I said laughing. I removed my hand and she smiled happily.
"Hehe, you think so?" She asked, once again staring back at the fountain, now flocked with two birds bathing.
"Hey Pinkie..." I said sitting beside her.
"What is it Alex?~♪" She replied as happy as ever.
"You...can't fool me...you know that right?" I said with a somewhat faint smile.
"She transformed her glowing smile into a small frown. "Haha...I was really that obvious?" She asked making a sad face.
"Honestly, who couldn't have told from all that fake laughing...?"
"I can just tell, let's go with that, but what's the matter with you lately?" I asked trying to turn Pinkie's attention from the direction of the fountain.
She turned towards me and drooped her head down a little. "Well, everypony's been too busy and I really reeeeeally want to have another party with them and they just won't join me." She responded with her face still in a slump.
"Oh, well, you could always party with them some other time, right?" I asked trying to come back with a refreshing smile.
"It WOULDN'T be the same!" Pinkie shouted rushing towards me as we came face to face.
"W-whoa, sorry Pinkie, I was just trying to help...no need to get feisty." I said. "Well, I think there's no other ways for you to party with them, Pinkie..." I added, petting Pinkie on the head.
Pinkie began to shed tears from her eyes, then all of a sudden her mane poofed down, her tail too!
"Pinkie, what the..." I was a little freaked to see her like this. Her little of her color started to fade and her expression wasn't all that cheerful. "Pink--" She pushed my hand away by whipping her mane at it.
"Hey, ow, that kinda hurt Pinkie!" I said getting up and trying to cover my hands up because of the minor scar.
"Whatever, you shouldn't have touched me in the first place!" She replied with a serious expression on her face.
"Sheesh, what's gotten into you Pinkie, you're acting strange!" I said, glaring at her oddly.
"This isn't the same Pinkie I've known and respected... isn't it?"
"It's not my fault I'm not in a very "GOOD" mood to party, now is it!?" she shouted. spatting her tongue at me in the end. She headed towards the fountain and glared at her reflection in the water. "Those mean ole' ponies won't have a party with me... see what I care!" The indifferent pony finished.
"Um..." I tried to say something until Pinkie dunked her head into the fountain, then the two bird who were bathing flew away in shock.
"Whoa, what the heck!" I shouted as I ran to help fish out Pinkie. I raised her head out of the water, but only until a split second she bucked me into the fountain. "Ooooooh, it's GO TIME!" I said clenching my teeth.
I saw Pinkie walking away. "Leave me ALONE!" She demanded, kicking dirt with her hooves as a sign of "step off". I grabbed one of her hooves before she could completely escape my sight.
"Am I serious about to fight a pony like PINKIE!?"
"H-hey stop tha--!" Pinkie tried to fight back against my grasp on her, but was sent splashing into the fountain's water and she started to hitting me in the face until I had completely immobilized her.
"Grrrr, I don't...ugh...want to...urk... fight you, Pinkie!" I said still holding her down.
"Well you STARTED it!" protested Pinkie. She continued trying to get out of my grasp so wildly that it seemed to loosen my grip little by little.
"Look, just stop this stupid madness... and WE could have a party, ALRIGHT!?" I said holding her, still escape free.
"Just stop it, I--" Pinkie paused and her enraged face turned to a content one. "R-Really..?" She asked as she began to struggle less.
"Yes, and um...if we can't find any other ponies to party... we could just have one ourselves, you and me!" I said smiling.
I released Pinkie from my grasp and we both sat up in the fountain, both soaked and bruised my the temporary rough housing. She put on an ashamed facial expression with a smile. "You promise..?" She said in a small voice.
"Promise!" I replied.
"That would be..." her voice had began out deep,then "SO SUPER FANTASTIC!" She shouted as her mane had returned to it's poofy form and her entire body's grayness left without a trace.
Pinkie began splashing water every where and came hugging me forcefully and said something about a "Pinkie Promise", I thought to my self that it's something like her "Pinkie Senses", so I rolled with it and decided to have a water fight with her!
"Hey Alex!~♪" Pinkie called out.
"Hey Pinkie!" I called out as well, only to be splashed by water in the face.
"Seriously...one unique pony indeed!"
*****
"Alright Spike, even though Pinkie wanted us over to party, we have a lot of things that need organizing before I visit Celestia in Canterlot." Twilight said walking from the left side of the park's area. Spike was on board of Twilight with an extremely long list of words written on it.
"Don't worry Twilight, we'll get everything done before ya know it!" said the proud purple.
"I just hope Alex was able to help Pinkie with her problem, I'm kind of worried." Twilight said walking to the center of the park.
"I'm sure Alex had a plan to help Pinkie!" Spike said looking on the list.
"I sure hope you're right Spike, I'm beginning to--" Twilight stopped in her tracks as she encountered me and Pinkie in the fountain, wondering what we were doing.
"Um..." Twilight and Spike said in unison.
"Heya!" Pinkie and I replied in unison as well.
"I won't ask what's going on, but... what's going on?" Spike asked, putting his quill down.
"Well, I was uh...talking to Pinkie and we kind of both slipped into the fountain." I said trying to contain my sarcastic smile.
"Yup-a-roony~♪" Pinkie Pie added blissfully.
"Well I'm glad you two are having fun!" Twilight said, relieved.
"Hey Pinkie, we should go see if some ponies are ready to party right now!" I said getting out of the fountain's waters.
"Mhm!" She replied, still playing in the water.
*****
A while later, me and Pinkie had gathered dozens of ponies in Ponyville that were in the serious mood for a party, they seemed so full of energy thanks Celestia's party. It was just enough of a spark to keep everypony, including myself, raving for about until evening, it was a whole lot of fun!
The party was over in the square and everypony left to the houses and Pinkie went back to the bakery in Sugar Cube Corner.
"Knowing Pinkie... she's probably having and after after party by herself at the bakery."
I walked back to Twilight's library, only that my stomach began to feel funny, and no it's not ONLY because of my appetite for that apple pie, it felt like homesickness.
"Now that I notice...I've been thinking too much about the stuff I've missed back on Earth... wow, such little time has passed and I've already come to love this place that it kinda makes you feel like you don't wanna go back from where you've came from..." I walked towards the door to the library and stopped. "I really do miss my friends and family, but I can't let that change my mind, like I told myself...I have to let fate take my path for me." I said opening the door, just dying to fall asleep.
Once I opened the door, to my surprise I saw Flutter and Twilight talking.
"Huh, Fluttershy, what are you doing here so late?" I asked, still tired from partying.
"Oh, hi mister Alex, I was...just..." Twilight had finished Fluttershy's sentence for her.
"She came over to see you!" Twilight finished.
Fluttershy nodded and fled over to me.
"You came to...see...me?" I asked, a bit nervous of what was going on.
"Um...y-yes." Fluttershy replied, sharing the same nervousness as me.
Twilight looked at Fluttershy then at me, then back at Fluttershy . "Anyways...Alex, she came to ask if you wanted to stay at her cottage for a while--" Twilight said, then Fluttershy hastily added "O-Only if you want to... that is." She implied as imperative as she could.
"Um...well, who am I to deny that offer!" I replied laughing.
Fluttershy joyfully smiled with my response.
"Well then, I guess you can go stay with Fluttershy, hopefully Spike won't miss you too long." Twilight said using her horn to levitate a book from the shelf.
"Yea...we did enjoy looking at that copy of that unforgettable Scream-Os pic he had kept for a spare night after night." I said mumbling to myself.
"What was that?" Twilight asked casually.
"Oh, haha, about that apple pie Applejack promised?" I said with a smile.
"Oh Applejack said she'd deliver it to you in the morning over at Fluttershy's cottage,sorry Alex."
"Wow, I was kinda looking for to that pie...well it's, fine, knowing Fluttershy was here is kind of a treat still!" I said facepalming after noticing what I had said was still a flirting compliment.
"Oh Alex..." Fluttershy said with a beep blush.
Fluttershy and I left the library and set of for her cottage.
*****
Along the walk, it was getting a bit darker outside, and no ponies seemed to be out. I turned to Fluttershy and noticed her wings were trembling a little.
"Um...Flittershy?" I asked trying to get the attention of the frightened pony.
"Yes, mister Alex?" She replied with a content voice.
"It's okay to just walk, no need to fly, really, I wouldn't want you to knock into something flying around in the dark." I said putting my hands in my pockets. She agreed to do so and then we continued to head down the rest of the pathway.
"Um, mister Alex..." Fluttershy pondered.
"Hmm?" I replied.
"You...miss your family don't you..?" She asked.
"Is...Is she PSYCHIC!?"
"I-I know it's sudden and you're not an animal but...I just thought I should ask.
"Actually, yes, yes I kinda do miss my world, family and friends." I replied with a little sorrow in my talking.
"Oh..." Fluttershy responded with a little whine.
I know it was still very dark outside and I couldn't actually make out the face Fluttershy was making from my sad tone, but I couldn't just let her be like that.
"I hate to say it, but I do think Ponyville feels like my home at the moment, you know?" I said as I grabbed Fluttershy's hoof.
Thanks to the moonlight, I was finally able to see her face, Fluttershy had a small smile on her face. " I know exactly what you mean, mister Alex." She said, no clinging to my arm as we walked through the night back to her cottage.
Chapter 9: Dash's Sonic Rainboom
View Online
So I've been recently been moved to Fluttershy's cottage, where there's this really comfortable cotton bed that she must've made for me. I've been begging so much for something as softer than that dainty corner I was given in Twilight's and Spike's room...even if Twilight asked if I wanted to sleep in her bed with her countless times, she realized what she was asking right? So now I'm in Fluttershy's place for the time being, I could get used to this, I mean without the constant arguments I have with Angel.
*****
I decided to go for a walk after I've finished up some stirred carrot smoothies Fluttershy had gave me for breakfast, they weren't half as bad as I would've guessed.
I reached the park where Pinkie and I had our little outburst, it's become my favorite little hangout place away from pony civilization long enough to have a little "me time".
"It's been only been a few days that I've lived in Equestria and to be accepted by pony kind, I think I could really began to feel attached to this world." I said, stretching the last bit of sleep I had left in me.
"Hmm, wonder if there's anything for me to do in a place such as Equestria... I mean no video games, television, internet..." I put my focus on the fountain. "No video games...." I sighed. "Maybe I've reached a dead end?"
I started hearing a sound getting closer as if someone was screaming in panic.
"Huh, what was that?" I said, looking around the park to see what made that sound.
"Watchoooooout!" said a loud voice.
"What the..!?" I shouted out as soon as I was crashed into by something or someone.
"Ugh...I never knew randomly attacking humans was a law in the world..." I said with my eyes closed, trying to get rid of the pain in my head. "Now why would you-"
I stopped suddenly as I saw a familiar pink manned pegasus child was trying to get rid of her pain the exact same way I was.
"Huh, oh it's you!" I said, still tending the pain in my head.
The pegasus finally opened her eyes and noticed who she had bumped into. "Oh you're that weird human the girls and I saw!" She said pointing her hoof at me.
"Weird...what made me weird for about the ten second we met at that party...?"
"Oh, yea, sorry about that...um...it was Alex, right?" asked the apologetic pegasus.
"Yup, that's my name, by the way, what's with the crashing into me?" I asked, helping the little pony get off of his back. "Kinda too early to start a rebellion."
*****
{"Quick, let's get him!" said the random guy in the camo gear.
"W-what the heck!?" I said running away for my life.}
*****
"Heh, Sorry, I just couldn't fly steady is all." said the pegasus. She lifted herself up into the air above the same level as me. "By the way, the name's Scootaloo!"
"Scootaloo ... sounds like a nice name." I said smiling. "Oh yea, so what was with you loosing control of your flying like that anyways?"
"I was trying to perfect my flying with Rainbow Dash and... it's just... me flying with RAINBOW DASH, I feel like the luckiest pony ever!" She said uncontrollably flying everywhere until she knocked into a tree.
"Ow!" yelled Scootaloo.
"Um...you okay?" I asked, walking over to help Scootaloo.
"Wow, never knew RD was so popular."
"Hey, what are ya doing to Scootaloo ya bully!" said a familiar voice from behind.
"Yea, what's the deal!" said a second voice.
Two little ponies had jumped in the way of me helping Scootaloo up from the ground, they both shot fierce glances at me.
"I was going to --" I was interuppted by the red manned pony.
"You were gonna eat out Scootaloo, weren't ya..." She began to pass tears.
"How could you do that to one of our member after Princess Celestia accepted you, the nerve!" said the purple-violet manned unicorn, with the squeakiest voice I've ever heard.
"Oh crap... now I'm starting to look like a human harassing little girls..."
"Oh come on girls, Alex was just trying to help me, that's all." said the injured Scootaloo.
"Yea, I wouldn't hurt a little pony!" I said saluting.
"Little ponies..?" asked the red manned pony.
"Um, well yea... ANYPONY is what I meant, haha." I said, trying to conserve my innocence
"Well, alright, we'll trust you, for now..." The unicorn paused to ask what my name was.
"It's Alex, could you tell me yours?" I said.
"What, s-so you could eat us too!?" said the frightened little unicorn. I facepalmed at her misunderstanding.
"Seriously Sweetie Belle, stop being over dramatic!" Scootaloo said, laughing and trying to restrain her friend.
"Well, just call me Apple Boom, mister!" Apple Bloom said, trotting towards me and giving me a handshake with her left hoof.
"...erm..." I said staring at the three ponies.
"Is something wrong Alex?" Scootaloo asked flying over and waving her hoof in my face.
"Should I tell these girls that they started to be awfully friendly to someone they thought was gonna eat them..."
I shook the thought from my head and and answered. "Uh, y-yea, yea I'm fine!"
"Well, at least we know we can trust you, Alex!" Sweetie Belle said as she got out of Scootaloo's grasp.
"Oh yea, that reminds me, you were those three little ponies who were at the party looking at me oddly --" I was interrupted by Apple Bloom.
"Sorry Alex, we just never saw anything like you before." She said looking at me.
"Hehe, we kind of thought you were a monster, AAARG!" Scootaloo said, playfully reenacting a monster.
"That sounded more like a pirate, Scootaloo." implied Sweetie Belle.
"Aha..." I stared at the hysterical ponies.
"They all act like one whole Pinkie Pie, AMAZING..!"
Scootaloo's ears flopped up in alert. "Oh right, I need to get back to Rainbow Dash, she must be waiting for me!" She said, charging back towards the way she came from.
"Hey wait up Scootaloo!" Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle said chasing their pegasus friend.
I watched the three run off, then I scoped around for any other ponies in sight. "Seems quiet without those girls hear... maybe I should go see what Dash is doing with Scootaloo." I said, running in the same direction of the girls.
*****
After following the path of the three ponies, I came across a bridge with Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom standing on it looking towards the sky. I looked upwards as well finding Rainbow Dash flying down with some serious speed, a few water drops were starting to form around her as she began to get faster and faster.
"Whooooa!" I said, staring at her.
Rainbow Dash was nearing towards the ground, looking as if she had no hesitation to stop or lift up.
"Wait what in the wor-- what the heck is she doing!?" I said, trying to be as loud as I can so the two little ponies nearby could hear me.
"Alright, here we gooooooo!" Rainbow Dash shouted as she began to pick up more speed.
"Go rainbow Dash, go!" Scootaloo said as she was flying overhead of me.
I looked everywhere then put my sight on Rainbow Dash, "Wait, huh!?" I said, confused over what was going on.
"She wants her to rocket to her doom down towards the ground, why!?"
"ALMOOOOOOOOOST..!" Rainbow Dash said almost containing her speed, but then suddenly when it looked like she was trying to pull up, she crash landed into a row of shrubs then knocked into a tree.
"Ooooooh, that's gotta hurt..." I said as I tried to not watch the horrible accident.
The three little ponies gave shocked expressions, along with Scootaloo facehooving herself, then we all rushed to Rainbow Dash immediately.
"Aw, I hope she didn't get hurt too bad." said Apple Bloom.
Once we reached Dash, we all saw her looked unconscious.
"Yup, that did her in ..."
"Rainbow Dash, hey Rainbow Dash, you alright there?" I said looking at her dizzied eyes. "How many fingers am I holding up.
Sweetie Belle responded. "Fingers?" she asked.
"Huh, oh right, I mean... can you see correctly!?" I said. Sadly, Dash hadn't responded and she continued to be spaced out, so I decided to shake her a little to snap her out of it.
"H-huh, what just happened!?" She said, looking around at all of us. "Did I do it while I got knocked out!?" She asked instantly flying wildly around.
"Sorry Rainbow Dash...you didn't do it again." Scootaloo said, making a sad expression.
"Yea, you almost had it!" Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom said together, trying to cheer Dash up.
"Oh, I guess I still need to work on it, heheh." Rainbow Dash said dropping out of the sky and back to the ground with her wings shut in disappointment.
"Wow, wonder what's got her so beat."
"What seems to be the problem, Dash?" I asked.
"Hey mister Alex, have ya ever heard of a Sonic Rainboom?" asked Apple Bloom.
I was confused over what she asked and instantly answered. "Well, can't say that I have, i-is that some kind of special move!?" I said with a blank face, the other two little ponies laughed at my misunderstanding.
"No silly, it's one of Rainbow Dash's high flyin' skills!" Apple Bloom corrected. She jumped in the air and did a "boom" impression of how it was like.
"So... is that what Rainbow Dash was trying to pull off?" I asked staring at Dash, who still seemed to have recovered from her failure and looked as if she was about to try again.
"You bet, I've been trying all day to perfect it!" Rainbow Dash said, giving an arrogant pose.
"Well, she HAS been trying, but she never got it...I-I mean not yet at least, haha!" Scootaloo said with a cheer for Dash.
"Wow, that actually sounds pretty awesome!" I commented.
"To be honest, I thought that was some kind of cool signature move on a game ... well that was a total fail."
"Hey Rainbow Dash!?" I shouted to her as she was making her way back into position to give it another try.
She stopped flying for a moment and listen to what I said. "Yea, what is it, Al?"
"What do you need to do so you can perform that Sonic Rainboom anyways?" I asked.
Dash grinned and started to explain. "Well besides being the ONLY pegasus to do it, there's not much to it really." She boasted as the three little ponies nodded their heads in agreement. "It's just hard to get control of, the Sonic Rainboom has to be done with the FASTEST amount of speed as possible!" She said zipping around to show how fast.
"Wow really?" I said as I was amazed how much potential Dash had, then I got to thinking. "Say, mind if I help you out on mastering it?"
Dash quickly shook her head and fled down to me. "Aaaah sorry there Al this needs to be done by pegasi skills and pegasi skills alone." She said, patting my shoulder. "Don't worry, I got this!" Dash put on a smirk and fled high into the sky so she could be in position to try again.
I sighed and looked up at Dash.
She began to accelerate extremely fast while Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo were cheering her on. She zoomed threw a few clouds that were in her path, poking holes in the shape of the way she entered through them, and her face started to show that she had reached her top speed once again.
"And..." I said, using my finger to follow Dash's descent from a far enough distance to track her down until she reached the ground.
She then lost control and landed in a bush, this earned gasps from the three cheering ponies.
"Splat!" I said humorously. Me and the girls had walked to Dash to see if she was okay for the second time. I helped her back up on to her wings.
"Ow, that... wasn't supposed to happen..." Dash said achingly.
"Gee, ya think?"
Dash looked at me with a pouting face, I returned a stare. "I...*mumble mumble mumble*" She said turning the other way.
"Huh?" I said leaning towards her with my hand over my ear.
"I said I need ... *mumble mumble*" She said, trying to turn away again.
"I'm sorry I couldn't hear you, what do ya need?" I said laughing a bit.
Rainbow Dash looked at me with a flustered face full of embarrassment and screamed in my ear. " I SAID I NEED YOUR HEEEEEELP!" She gave a smirk at the end.
The scream made my ears ring intensely which made me fall to the ground. "O-Ow that could have made me deaf!" I said tending my ear, then I got up and gave an arrogant pose to Dash. "Well, you did admit you'd need help, so I feel pretty good about that!" I said laughing.
*****
After all the talk about the Sonic Rainboom, I've learned that what they said about Dash being the only pegasus that could perform the technique, which impressed me, but back then she pulled it off at least once when she was a ...what I think hey call young ponies as a filly. I also told Dash how I got first place in a lot of track and field races when I was in high school.
"Track and field races, what are those Alex?" Sweetie Belle asked.
"Oh, well it's like a race like what pegasi have, but it's to show off everyone's speed on the ground." I replied jogging in place.
"Yea you may have sweaty guys and people panting around you in the end...but at least you'd have fun with it!"
"Wow Really!?" asked all three of the fillies. I nodded.
"Wow, so your world has races too?" Dash asked flying over to me.
"Yup, but no one's as fast as me!" I replied confidently.
*****
{"Go Alex, go!" The coach shouted as I came near the finish line.
"I got this in the ba--" before I was a few second away from the finish line, I tripped and fell flat on my face.
"Ooooooooh..." The entire crowd said in the stadium.
"That, folks, has gotta hurt!" added the announcer.
The other racers had crossed the finish line as the announcer called out saying a girl had won first place, with me in dead last. The coach facepalmed in disappointment.
"Aww... crab baskets..." I said, burying my face in the ground out of humiliation.}
*****
"Yup... no one's faster than me....haha." I said, smiling sarcastically.
"Cool, are you really that fast!?" Scootaloo asked flying up to me.
"Yup!" I replied. " But... not as fast as Rainbow Dash, trust me, I'd need my own pair of wings to keep up with your speed!" I said trying to contain my dignity.
Dash blinked and had an idea erupt in her head, she laughed in an evil sort of way. "Care to see just how fast we are on ground then?" She asked.
I looked her dead in the eye and I could just sense the fire in her eyes, and so I answered. "alright then, you're on!" I said with hyped up spirit.
Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo shook their heads of the idea, then zoomed off to somewhere then quickly came back with as checkered flag, a finish line strip, and pegs to hold the finish line strip.
"W-Wait how did you just..." I gave dumbfounded stare at the ponies.
"You can start here if you'd like and whoever gets over to the tree Rainbow Dash crashed the first time, wins the race!" Apple Bloom said with joy.
Rainbow Dash and I took our starting positions and we both had nothing to focus on but to finish first place in the race. She shot me a glare and said " Good luck, Al!"
I replied "You too!"
Sweetie Belle readied the checkered flag, the wind was blocking just right for perfect flying condition, but this race was full on terrain. "Okay, get ready..." Scootaloo said as Sweetie Belle held the flag in her mouth readying to wave it.
"Set..." Dash huffed and scrapped the ground with her hooves like a bull just waiting to strike it's target, I did the same... except when you have hands the scrapping kinda hurts.
Scootaloo held both her hooves up and finally said "Go!"
And with that, Sweetie Belle waved the flag down, Dash and I took off with both of us using full blown speed just to kick the race off to a good start. We stayed neck and neck for about the whole beginning, the run from the bridge to the tree looked short but it seemed like forever, that is until we both saw the finish line.
"I've so got this!" Dash said speeding up a little.
"Oh yea well, that's not happening RD!" I said, also picking up a little of my speed, just enough to catch up to Rainbow and potentially pass her up.
"What, no way!" Dash said with an awe expression.
I felt like chanting a victory dance right then and there, but I continued on towards the finish line in front of me "This... is... VICTORY!" I shouted as I was a few second away from the flag, but suddenly... I tripped.
"Uh oh!" said the three fillies who were waiting at the end of the finish line.
I slide about a few centimeters with my face on the ground towards the finish line, I raised my head up and tried reaching for it, but Rainbow Dash slowly flew through it in a mocking way. I froze in place over the realization of déjà vu I just encountered.
"D-dang it..." I said putting my hand down. Then a large object fell on top of my head which caused my face to get planted towards the ground again. Turned out to be a mail bag.
"AHW CMM UN! (Aw come on!)" I said, with my face buried to the ground in utter defeat and embarrassment again.
"Whoops, my bad!" shouted a voice I could only have guessed would be Derpy.
Dash fled over to me and poked my head. "Guess that race answered who was the fastest, didn't it?" She said chuckling.
I grumbled as my face was still buried to the ground.
*****
The race was set, Dash won... by luck, and I was proclaimed the loser and the phrase "eat my dirt" took it's literal turns for Dash. Once that all cleared up, we got back to the matter at hand, perfecting the Sonic Rainboom.
"Alright, with all joking aside, we should get back to doing that Sonic Rainboom!" I said, wiping the last bit of the dirt that was on my face.
"I know you can do it Rainbow Dash!" Scootaloo cheered.
"Uh huh, you can pull off a Sonic Rainboom!" Sweetie Belle follow up.
"That's right, You can do it!" Apple Bloom added.
"You can make a Sonic Rainboom, Rainbow Dash!" The all cheered in unison.
"Wow, aren't they the little cheerleaders."
Me and Rainbow Dash started on a few trails to see just how fast she could fly, breaking each of her total speeds every few minutes. We did lap after lap around the bridge and the tree she crashed into and back, to my surprise I really was able to keep up with her speed for only a short matter of time. The three energetic fillies continued to cheer us on, there were times that we had to stop and take a break to recover our energy to keep us going. There were also a few times I had tripped and fell while Dash had easy runs throughout the entire time. After what seemed to be hours of trail runs, Rainbow Dash had gotten progressively faster.
"Wow, that was some tough training, kinda reminds me of the times I had with Gilda and Fluttershy up in Cloudsdale." Dash said restlessly.
I stared at her with a confused look. "Who's Gilda?" I asked.
"Well she was a friend who...um...never mind." She replied, hesitating at the mention of the name. "Hey, ya know I think I could actually pull it off this time, Alex!"
"Right...okay let's see just how awesome you are!" I said as I watched Dash fly up towards the evening sky.
"You can do it Rainbow Dash!" screamed Scootaloo.
"Yea, pull off a great Sonic Rainboom!" shouted Sweetie Belle.
"We know you can do it!" Apple Bloom shouted.
"SHOW US ALL AN AMAZING SONIC RAINBOOM!" The three fillies cheered aloud.
"With that type of spirit they have, I'm sure Rainbow Dash can't mess this up!"
I turned my attention away from the girls and focused only on Rainbow Dash. "It's all you, Rainbow Dash!" I chanted underneath my breathe.
Dash gave a small sigh then accelerated downward so fast it was almost too fast to keep up with her, there were even water droplets forming again like last time, then the clouds were spinning wildly as she passed by. The girls had cheered louder and louder to keep Dash in high chances of performing the high flying trick, just then other ponies that were around the area we were in looked towards the sky aware of Dash's intense speed. Dash neared closer towards the ground, almost near the exact altitude from when she crashed last time, I feared that she would mess up at this point and lose control of her flying. Suddenly, she made a super fast upward turn with a huge glow of lights and colors appear. The colors extended and extended ALL across Ponyville, everypony were in awe of the beautiful scene they just witnessed. All that was left covering the skies were dazzling colors of the rainbow.
"She did it, she did it, A SONIC RAINBOOM WOOHOO!" screamed he three little fillies. The jumped up and down with the ending in laughter and still cheering on the ground.
I looked up into the sky, turning every direction around me seeing nothing but a colorful sky, it could almost be compared to the Northern Lights, but more beautiful. As I was stuck staring at the sky, my attention was on Rainbow Dash, who was speeding back over to where I was.
Dash stared at me. "Well..?" She said, looking at me with some "was is awesome?" eyes.
"I...I...I..." I repeated, sounding like a broken record player.
"Hey, Al, you feelin' okay?" Dash asked, waving her hoof in front of my eyes.
"That was...ONE OF THE AWESOMEST THINGS I'VE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE!!!" I said with my arms waving wildy in the air.
The fillies giggled at my explosive reaction. "Heheh, I knew you'd say something like that!" Rainbow Dash said flying over and lying down on one of the clouds that was over head.
I was freaking out over how awesome the view was up until the point where I became exhausted and passed out on the ground, laughing a little. Apple Bloom, Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle walked over to see if I needed any help. I shook my head and looked towards the sky.
"No, n-no I'm fine haha...just a bit too excited." I replied.
"Haha, I know right!" Scootaloo added on. "I wouldn't blame you because Rainbow Dash is sooooooo cool!" she said with sparkling eyes.
"Yea... think I'm gonna enjoy this view just a little longer, if that's okay." I said, resting on the soft grass.
The fillies nodded and headed towards town to talk about the Sonic Rainboom all of Ponyville had just witnessed. I closed my eyes to relax and save the memory of the event.
"A Sonic Rainboom....and Dash is the only pegasus to pull it off...wow, SO EPIC!"
"Now moments like this is why I'm glad to have come to Equestria..." I mumbled to myself as I started drifting off to sleep.
Chapter 10: The Arrival of A Special Friend?
View Online
By the time I opened my eyes it was morning, with me looking like some stranded person on the bridge where I witnessed the spectacular Sonic Rainboom. Throughout all the training me and Rainbow Dash had done, I'd would have never thought she would be able to pull it off. I guess I've learned one thing while being here in Equestria and that's to not underestimate any pony.
"Man, that was still cool, if only I had my camera or phone right about now..." I continued to stare at the sky, day dreaming over how cool it was to see the Sonic Rainboom and how I wished to see if again.
Just then a short yawn came from beside of me, not only that, but I could feel something warm near my side. "Huh, what was that?" I asked, rolling over to find out who was there.
"Hmm..?" I saw Apple Bloom sleeping right next to me, not showing any signs of waking up. "Whoa, what's going on here!?" I said aloud noticing the filly at last.
Apple Bloom yawned. "That was the greatest Sonic Rainboom eve " Apple Bloom woke up and noticed she was waking up right beside me, she looked at me in confusion.
"W-Why are you sleeping so close to me..?" I asked, trying to contain any suspicion of the little pony.
"Well... I forgot what I came here to get ya for...," She replied, pondering on her ideas. "Oh right!" She said getting up and shuffling my hair.
"Um..." I said.
"I had came too get ya, mister Alex." Apple Bloom said, smiling.
"It's obvious she dodged my question..."
"Oh, what's the problem then?" I asked, letting myself up.
"My sis wanted ya to come and see her because she found someone like you!" She replied, running a little ahead of me.
I was silent the moment and thought about it for a while. "..." My eyes widened over the realization of what Apple Bloom just told me. "WHAT!?" I said, suddenly picking up the pace to catch up to her.
*****
Apple Bloom laughed as I tried to keep up, racing to get to her as we sprinted across Ponyville all the way to Apple Acres. I asked her how the person she was talking about looked like, the suspense was sorta killing me. She kept saying that it was a secret until we had gotten there. By then, we had approached our destination, and as I ran I realized something.
"Huh, so when you said sister..?" I asked.
"Yup, Applejack's my big sis, guess I forgot to tell ya, haha." She replied
"Could have fooled me with your names matching and all."
"I see...but..." I had stopped running a little and Apple Bloom did the same.
"She's blonde and you're red manned..." I said, pointing at her.
Apple Bloom was lost over where this conversation was going. "Yes, and..?" She replied.
"Uh...erm...nevermind, let's just hurry!" I said as I took the lead ahead of Apple Bloom.
We arrived at the barn and I saw what appeared to be a red coated stallion with and orange mane. He looked rather content and much more buff than any of the other stallions I've come across, must work out or something.
"Who is that?" I asked, looking at the stallion.
"Big Macintosh, how is sis keepin' up with her?" Apple Bloom asked with delight.
"Big... Macintosh?" I asked, turning back to him.
"Eeyup." He replied.
I looked at him for a moment, then put my hand on my chin out of wonderment. "Lemme guess, big brother?" I asked with a glance.
"Eeyup" He replied again.
"Deals with the heavy work on farm?" I asked.
"Eeyup." He replied once more.
"Quite a vocabulary you've got there Big Mac..."
I ended the conversation and rushed into the barn and saw Applejack standing and looking into a stack of hay. "Applejack, so you are here!" I said.
"Ah, Alex, glad of ya to come runnin' just in time!" She said moving out of the way for me to see the piles of unorganized hay. Next thing I knew, there was a slipper that was found on one of the unsorted hay stacks.
"A pink slipper?" I said confused.
"Hey mister Alex, you should take a look at this!" Apple Bloom said pointing her hoof towards a set of assorted hay that had moaning coming from it. I looked over to see who it was... and to my surprise I was shocked.
"N-no way..." I said, stunned for the moment.
"Is there somethin' the matter partner?" Applejack asked, looking with worry.
"There's just no...no...no way..." I said, still looking at the unconscious person in the hay stack.
"What's wrong Alex, is it evil?" Apple Bloom asked with unusual excitement.
"WHAT IN THE NAME OF EQUESTRIA IS MIA DOING HERE...and...in pajamas?" I said, flustered.
"Wait, are you tellin' me you and her know each other?" Applejack asked.
"Ooh, better than you know Applejack... better than you know..."
"Well yea, she's where I came from, but the one thing that doesn't make sense is why and how did she get here?" I asked, trying not to look over at Mia.
*****
{"Ever heard of déjà vu?" asked Mia.
"Um, you mean the water, right?" I asked, smiling.
"Noooooo, silly!" Mia said facepalming. "Déjà vu is when you've experienced something multiple times, it's actually really fun!~♪" Mia said sighing in adornment.
"Oh yea... being able to relive my life over and over again is veeeeeery fun." I said sarcastically.
"Well sometimes it happens to other people, Nichole said if it WERE to happen, it would be in a totally different way!" She stated, pointing at me then herself.
"Really, I don't think I believe that." I said, pouting.}
*****
"I think she's wakin' up!" Apple Bloom said, trying to get my attention.
"Ooooooh, ow..." Mia said with her eyes still fully closed.
"I hope she she doesn't panic once she opens her eyes." I whispered to Applejack and Apple Bloom.
Mia was moving around a lot as she shuffled the hay until she groaned a little as if she was sleeping and finding a comfortable position.
"Mmm...huh...?" Mia had raised her head and her eyes were still half shut. "What...is going on?" She asked, wiping her eyes for a clear view. She finished wiping her eyes then caught sight of the three of us staring at her with patience. She observed the room with complete attention, then looked back at us.
"I just know she'll freak out, wish I had my camera for this moment too, hehehe!"
Mia made a content face and said. "What a bizarre dream." and went back to sleep on the stacks of hay.
"W-what..." I said with a confused expression.
Apple Bloom and Applejack both looked at me with joyous smiles. "Well, I guess she's not afraid of us..." Applejack said.
"And that means she's okay with Equestria, let's show her around!" Apple Bloom said jumping with joy.
I facepalmed myself and held the two ponies steady. "Not really, she thinks she's dreaming, I hardly doubt she realizes that you two are really real!" I said looking at them frustrated a little.
"Oh...um, sorry mister Alex, please don't eat us..." Apple Bloom said with shaking legs.
I groaned at Apple Bloom for even thinking I'd do that and walked over to Mia and shook her to wake her up, then she rubbed her eyes again and caught sight of only me this time.
"Mia, you're NOT dreaming, you're in Equestria!" I told her, supporting her shoulders so she wouldn't fall back to sleep.
"Nyan, I want a cat dream now, nyan nyan~♪" She replied with a purr.
"She's lost it, I might need to snap her out of it!" I said under my breathe.
"Alex, are ya sure it's workin'?" Applejack asked, unsure of my method for waking up Mia.
"No worries, it's fine, I've got the perfect solution...but you'll have to promise me to close your eyes." I said, looking at the dream dazed Mia.
"Huh, why do ya want us to close our eyes?" Apple Bloom asked.
"Please, j-just trust me..." I said.
"Your little pony eyes don't need to see this type of interaction among humans, especially when I might have to be asked questions by your sister..."
Applejack and Apple Bloom closed their eyes.
"Okay, maybe a tiny peck on the forehead." I said nearing towards Mia's face.
"Hmm, oh wow...this dream feels so realistic, but there's no way " Mia was interrupted sleep-talking and then she blinked her eyes once and started to blush. "You...kissed..." She said.
"Yes, yes it was ONLY the forehead, like you did to me." I said shifting my head from her.
She looked around for a while and noticed what she seeing was real. I had told her about everything that had happened ever since I had gotten here all the way up to the scene of the Sonic Rainboom. She actually wasn't quite shocked to hear all about this stuff up until the point of her saying "Don't worry, Alex, you're not used to stuff like this so naive~♪" then she patted my head with a smile.
*****
After a while Mia understood the entire situation without freaking out. I hate to say it but, she took this whole being stuck in another world full of ponies much better than me.
"Wow, so where I'm in is called Ponyville, part of the world of Equestria and I dropped from the sky and landed inside of a barn house that belongs to an apple family?" Mia said summarizing everything up.
"Eeyup!" I said ironically imitating Big Macintosh as he peeked inside for an instant out of curiosity then returned to attention back outside.
Applejack and Apple Bloom still had their eyes closed then I tapped their heads to give sign that they could open their eyes.
"Oh...MY GOSH!" Mia said with sparkling eyes.
"Oh, she's awake!" Apple Bloom said with joy. Mia rushed over to cuddle her so suddenly.
"You are just too adorable!" Mia said, hugging Apple Bloom.
"What's going on she's... she's tickling me, haha!" Apple Bloom said caught in Mai's hugging trap.
"Uh...is that supposed to happen?" Applejack asked as she looked after her sister being adored.
"Don't worry, that's just Mia being Mia, she's into cute things..." I said sighing then smiled.
*****
Apple Bloom, Applejack, Mia and I decided to stroll over to Twilight's house while Big Mac was left to do his remaining farm work. The ponies and pegasi were looking at Mia with first signs of suspicion as they did to me as we walked along the pathway. I had to make sure Mia wouldn't do something drastic to further the misunderstanding of her being here, in other words, I had to prevent her from hugging any of the other ponies.
"Wow, I guess getting used to this place took time, huh?" Mia asked sticking close by to me.
"You got that right!" I said snapping my fingers. "But when you go through all the things that I've been through...getting citizenship in this world is CRAZY!" I said doing a "coo-coo" sign. "Oh, by the way I never asked how you got into Equestria." I said, playing with Apple Bloom as we walked.
"Oh, hehe, right, actually it started when I was going into my bathroom and " I stopped Mia by putting my hand on her shoulder.
"On second thought... it's best to not know..." I said blushing. She laughed a little and looked at me happily.
"Well... at least that explained the pajamas."
"Can...I ask how you got here then, Alex?" She asked intently.
"Well...um... I just..." all of a sudden I was interrupted by some pony.
"He caught a fever when he went outside." Twilight said, carrying Spike.
"Whoa it's another person!" Spike said, excited.
"Whoa, a dragon!" Mia reacted, a bit frightened.
"Oh yea, I forgot to tell you that there were dragons in this world too!" I said, laughing a little by Mia's reaction.
Spike was confused and then Mia immediately started hugging him, Twilight was taken aback by what was happening.
"You are just the CUTEST little dragon I've ever seen, I'm so happy this is real!" Mia shouted.
"Ahaha...HEY I'm n-not cute!" Spike said, trying to deny the truth.
"Uh...is that supposed to happen?" Twilight asked.
I just shrugged and smiled. "That's just Mia being Mia!" I said.
Mia had to let go of Spike and we continued to walk to Twilight's library.
"Guess you were out getting that checklist done again huh, Twilight?" I asked.
"We were comin' to see ya." Applejack said, walking ahead of everyone.
"Wow, so you're Twilight...Alex said you helped him when he got here!" Mia stated, adoring Twilight in every way.
"Nice to meet you..." Twilight said waiting for her name.
"Oh, it's Mia Valentine, great to be here in Equestria!" Mia proudly said.
"Hmm, she's more than happy to be here than you were, Alex." Spike said laughing.
"I had a hard time, okay!?" I replied in a mild tone.
*****
Applejack and Apple Bloom decided to stay a while to talk to Mia a little to know more about her and how they could become friends, I'm confident to say that her and Apple Bloom are already friends. After a while, they had to head back to Apple Acres. Mia was looking all around Twilight's library in awe.
"Wow, this place is amazing and not because it's in a tree, but look at all the BOOKS!" Mia said jumping around.
"Well, I do love all of the books I have, but their technically not mines." Twilight said with a smile.
"Wait, you never told me they weren't yours!?" I said turning around looking at the Magic to Use to Travel to New Worlds book.
"Nah, Twilight had got access to this place by Princess Celestia!" Spike said ordering books one by one.
"Princess Celestia?" Mia said with confusion. "Sounds like a lovely name!" Mia said so astonished.
"Oh right, I never mentioned her to you haven't I, well I'll make sure you'll get to see the princess, Mia!" I said with a thumbs up to her.
Mia had hours to getting used to Equestria and it's wonders as Twilight explained everything to her, I couldn't have done it myself... really, I couldn't. It turned night and Fluttershy came to check on me, but in the process Mia was forced to hug her for her innocent appearance.
"Yea, she'll learn that hugging ponies will be a little too overboard..."
I had said goodbye to Mia and she decided stayed over Twilight, who actually enjoyed her company a lot more than she let on.
"Have fun sleeping in a cramped area, hehehe." I said laughing.
*****
Fluttershy and I reached the cottage, I wasn't that sleepy since I woke up pretty late, but Fluttershy insisted that I should. We went inside, she flew over to help prepare my bed for me.
"Uh...Fluttershy it's fine, there's no need to do my bed, haha. " I said stopping the anxious pegasus.
"A-are you sure, mister Alex?" Fluttershy asked, holding the covers.
"Of course, hey... if fair I should be the one doing something for you." I implied.
Fluttershy put on a small smile. "Well, if that's okay...then I won't fix your bed..."
I nodded. "Good, I'm happy that you "
"...this night." Fluttershy finished.
"Wait, that's not what I meant..." I wasn't able to explain myself once Fluttershy shut the door. "Well I'd better get to sleep, just hope Mia will be okay in a world such as this..." I yawned and started to get comfortable in my bed. "so she came here after going into the bathroom..." I shook my head of the idea. "Maybe I really shouldn't have asked in the first place, haha."
I said to myself then went soundly to sleep.
Chapter 11: The Point of Cutie Marks
View Online
It was a little while that I woke up and Fluttershy had greeted me with good morning and offered a few vegetables to eat as a snack. I accepted them and to be honest, the veggies she's been giving me are more delicious than the ones on Earth.
"I guess being here kinda forced me to become a healthy eater for their sake..."
I decided to walk outside with Fluttershy to enjoy the morning glow of the sun with her, but Angel ruined it by throwing a carrot at my face, making me cause the fur ball to run away. After a while I got tired chasing the mischievous bunny I dropped to the ground.
"I'm never gonna get used to that furry demon of a bunny..." I said. I stared at Fluttershy who was finishing talking to a bunch of blue jays and noticed something about her.
"Oh, hey Fluttershy?" I called to her.
I got her attention and she immediately responded. "Yes, mister Alex?"
"I was just wondering what are those on your...um...side." I asked unoffensive as possible.
"I know it would've been easier to say butt or flank but... I'll hold off on that later."
Fluttershy looked to the side of her. "You mean my wings..?" She questioned.
I got from off the ground and dusted myself off, then shook my head. "No, no, I mean those pink things, are they always there?" I asked once more.
Fluttershy's ears perked up. "Oh, you meant my little flutterflies." She replied with a smile. "Mhm, they're on me at all times."
"Yea, what exactly are they there for besides the fact that they make you look...haha...cute?" I asked, a bit embarrassed.
"Well, that's because it's my "
Fluttershy was interrupted by a pair of loud voices who shouted out "CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS!" and it made me and Fluttershy jump.
"What in the world!?" I shouted back.
All of a sudden Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo had popped their heads out of a nearby bush near Fluttershy and they all rushed out in front of me.
"That's Fluttershy's cutie mark you were talking about!" Sweetie Belle implied.
"A cutie mark? Wait, wait, wait, I said it was a cute mark, not...cutie." I told her, pointing to Fluttershy's mark.
"Alex, you don't KNOW what a cutie mark is!?" The three fillies said in unison and then gasping at me.
"W-well all I noticed is that a lot of ponies I'm around had a different sign on them and..." I stopped and looked at the three little ponies and thought about it. "Come to think of it... where are your cutie mark?" I asked bold-faced.
"We...uh...um..." Scootaloo said stuttering.
"That's because w-we're waiting for ours!" Sweetie Belle said with slight hesitation.
"Yea, and...we're gonna get them soon!" Apple Bloom said proudly.
I looked at them for a moment, then they started to shake with nervousness.
"Oh girls, it's fine to tell mister Alex the truth." Fluttershy said with a smile.
"I kinda had a feeling they were hiding something." I said, still glaring at them.
"Oooooh, alright, we can't find our special talents!" Sweetie Belle admitted, turning her head away.
"Special talents...oh, so the marks are a sign of what you do best, is that right!?" I said trying to see Fluttershy's cutie mark again. "So, Fluttershy's cutie mark are flutterflies because of her gentle nature to animals!" I said.
"Yup!" The three fillies said altogether.
"You're right mister Alex, though..." Fluttershy flew up into the sky. "If it wasn't for Rainbow Dash's Sonic Rainboom I woulnd't have gotten my cutie mark, it was all thanks to her I found my special talent." She said as the wind blew her mane, building a nostalgic atmosphere around her.
"Rainbow Dash...oh so... I bet that's how she got that awesome cutie mark." I said to myself. "So Applejack's cutie mark is apples because she works at Apple Acres, Rainbow Dash's cutie mark shows a rainbow bolt because of her special SOnic Rainbom and flight skills!"
"Which to me is pretty awesome!"
"Pinkie Pie's cutie mark shows balloons because she a real party pony, Rarity's cutie mark are diamonds because of her fashionista personality and she loves designing clothes, and Twilight...hmm." I said, stopping to think.
The three fillies looked at me with puzzled expressions. "Somethin' wrong, Alex?" Apple Bloom asked.
"Um, Twilight's cutie mark is a star, but... to be honest I have NO idea what she could be into!" I said with a smile.
Angel facepalmed himself just from my remark then hopped into the cottage.
"Wow, you've never paid attention have you, Al?" said a voice from the skies. Rainbow Dash landed down to where we were discussing cutie marks. "You seriously don't know what Twilight's special talent is!?"
"Hey, it's not like I'm the cutie mark commentator in the world, it's just um..." I put my hand on my chin, thinking of Twilight's abilities. "She reads books, knows magic pretty well...not much to go on." I blinked and then gasped at my realization to the mystery. "Oh, I know now!"
"It took ya long enough!" Rainbow Dash said,
"Twilight has something to with stars no, no, no, she likes reading, so that must mean..." I held my breath in for the moment. "SHE'S A BRIGHT LEARNER, I mean she reads book, Celestia calls her her star pupil and her cutie mark's a star, am I right!?" I said with confidence in my answer.
"Uh..." Everypony said, looking at me with disappointed faces.
Rainbow Dash started to snicker until she she finally busted out laughing on the ground near Fluttershy.
Fluttershy flew over to me and patted me on the head. "She's great with magic, mister Alex." She corrected me contently with a small chuckle.
I felt like such an idiots at that moment and hung my head down. "Aw, I thought that made sense too..." I said, embarrassed.
So, in short, I've learned that cutie marks are the special marks that show what everypony is good at, even though it may take time to occur or for it to randomly happen at a given point in time and there's nothing else to it!
"No, seriously I mean her cutie mark's a star and she likes to read so that makes her a "star" student, meaning she's a "bright" learner come on, it's good!"
The other ponies laughed at my folly of learning Twilight's cutie mark and we went on with out activities!
Chapter 12: Rarity's Big Dress Disaster
Continuing from the cutie mark talk, I learned a lot about every pony's unique special talents and abilities that come from within and that the only way they find their cutie marks are pinned by fate. I guess this whole thing is linked to destiny somehow, but I won't think too much into the matter and just roll with it. I decided to head over to Rarity's Boutique, Fluttershy did inform me she was planning something for me and Mia.
*****
And so I reached the boutique to check what Rarity was doing until I suddenly heard a loud shriek.
"Aaaaaaaaah!," Shouted the voice.
"W-what the...is that Rarity!?," I said, hesitantly opening the door and rushing inside.
I quickly reached Rarity's room. "Are you okay, Rare!?," I asked, then I looked for a solid moment to notice that she was looking at Mia with a very unusual dress on.
"Wow, do you really think it's oh, Alex!," Mia said, blushing a little as she hid behind the nearby couch to hide the dress from me.
"Um...," I said with a bedazzled look.
"Oh no...you saw me with the dress on, didn't you...," Mia stated nervously.
"Yea, and... YOU LOOKED AMAZING!," I replied with a thumbs up.
"I told you he would love it, darling.," Rarity said as she helped Mia from behind the couch.
"You really like it? T-The dress was m-made by Rarity for me to...," Mia stopped for the moment and had collapsed so unexpectedly.
"What...?," I said as I saw Mia pass out.
"Oh dear... is she always that nervous?," Rarity asked.
"Heck, you should've seen her at the school play in the 3rd grade, fell right off the stage on the first act...priceless!"
*****
After that awkward drama comedy scene was over, Mia had woken up and told me about needing information about our world's fashions. I didn't know why, but I decided to ask anyways.
"So you need to learn about our dimension's fashion because...?," I asked, glaring at Mia, who was still flustered.
"Well, Mia here has told me much about your world's fashion designs and they were SIMPLY marvelous I wanted to make some designs off of them for my friends here in Ponyville!," Rarity said clipping strings off fabrics one by one with her magic while threading them together.
"That sounds pretty neat, Rarity!," I commented, taking a look at the drafts on the boards stationed around the corners where there seemed to be pony-shaped mannequins with dresses on them.
"Rarity even said she could make more clothes for us while we're staying in Ponyville!," Mia said jumping up and cheering.
I looked as Mia, still dressed in the dress Rarity made for her. :Just...wow Mia, you seriously look great, wonder how Rarity did it...," I said mumbling.
After a while, Rarity had suggested a few options to see how she could make human clothes to fit me. "I can tell whether the clothes I make for pony is dazzling and full to fit, but I'm not so sure you...," She laughed a little before continuing. "Match Mia's size and shape.," She said, tipping her glasses with her hoof.
I glared at Rarity over that comment. "Say what now...?," I said with a deadpan look.
"She's saying she needs a way to measure you, silly!," Mia said laughing.
"Ooooh, well...how did you measure Mia?," I asked with a reassuring face.
"Well that's because we ," Mia stopped all of a sudden with a flustered face.
"Hmm?," I responded.
"T-Think of a physical exam Alex.," Mia said with a half cheerful smile.
"Huh, a physical exam...?," I wondered.
*****
{"Alright, now if I can just get your measurements.," The nurse said.
"Ah, of course!," replied the boy. He took off his shirt and pants to get a full accurate measure from the nurse.
"Hmm, seems you're great, you're a thin and healthy as a kitten!~," The nurse concluded with a bright smile.
The boy looked at her with a weird expression. "A...kitten, but...huh?," He said.}
*****
"W-Wait, you mean I have to get naked!?," I asked aloud, with an image of Mia undressing in my mind. She hit me instantly headbutted me in my head with hers. "O-Ow, why'd you do that?," I said, trying to calm the pain down.
"That's because you think too much!," She replied, covering her forehead with both of her hands.
"I was only thinking of...a...a...marshmallow.," I said, still continuing the pain of my forehead.
Mia laughed at my subject turn around, then we decided to watch Rarity stitch the rest of her dresses piece by piece of the jewels she kept in a nearby box. A few minutes later, Mia said she had forgotten something that she had to do with Twilight and zipped out of the room.
"Wow, Mia's so used to Equestria now...," I said, looking out of the window.
"Indeed, she's had a better first hand experience then you.," Rarity said, chuckling.
"Okay why does every pony keep saying that!," I ranted. I calmed myself down and heard Rarity gasped with a needle floating in mid-air by her magic.
"Rarity, is something the matter?," I asked. I peeked over Rarity's mane and spotted a fine design of diamonds on a white dress, but then I noticed that something was a bit off. "Oh uh... missing a diamond?," I said sharing the same displeased face as her.
"I don't think a fake jewel from my pants is gonna fix this one..."
"Well strangely enough I keep losing a few of my precious little jewels every so often lately.," Rarity said with small tears coming from her eyes.
"Maybe because you've been... I don't know, USING them too much!?," I implied.
Rarity pouted at me. "Well of course I use them for my work but...do you even KNOW how horriblemy dresses LOOK without MY DIAMONDS!?," She shouted with her face close to mines.
I felt a bit intimidated within the moment as Rarity had panted little by little, then a thought came across and hopefully it would lift up her spirits. "What if we went to go find a batch of diamonds for your dress!?," I suggested with a smile.
"Wait... what the hay am I saying, let's go find a batch of diamonds!? This is a town filled with ponies not a gold mine, I doubt diamonds aren't that easy to find, so she might bust into a fit..."
Then Rarity backed away from my face then begun to smile. "That's not a bad idea, Alex!," She said with glee as she used her magic to levitate the unfinished dresses to the corners of the room.
"Oh, sweet then.... wait, WHAT!?," I responded in shock. I looked at Rarity. "Whoa, whoa, whoa, you mean we're going to go look for actual DIAMONDS!?," I asked.
"Well of course, darling, my designs are incomplete without the right materials and that will NOT do, not do at all!," Rarity said with much confidence.
I looked at her readying to go as she left right in the front door with me trailing behind.
*****
Along the way to whatever destination she planned on taking us to, Rarity told me that she had the perfect place to gather diamonds, but also informed me of the vicious diamond dogs she and Spike had encountered on their outing together.
"Diamond dogs, huh? Sounds pretty awesome, wonder if their shiny and all..."
We had reached a clearing where a bunch of vacant trees, small placed around, and a bunch of holes everywhere.
"Holy world of Equestria...," I said ducking over a little to see how far one of the nearby holes went, I gulped. "You ponies don't have...giant...bugs in this world, right?," I asked with a shaken voice.
"Oh no, no, no, no... my dear Alex, if we had giant grotesque things flying around, I wouldn't DARE take residence in Ponyville!," Rarity replied instantly with a slightly disgusted face.
"Well, that's one thing we have in common..."
We started looking around for a few rubies that fits Rarity's requirements for her unfinished dress, sooner or later Rarity called for me mid-search for something important. "Alex, have you found any perfect rubies for my dress to be done?," She asked with a very concerned voice.
"No, I didn't see any ," I paused after I just noticed that she was sitting in a fancy looking couch while levitating a mirror and brush. "Rarity!," I said, catching her attention off curling her hair.
"Even though her mane's curly already, w-where the heck did that couch come from anyways!?"
"Waaah!," She shrieked, jumping on her couch a bit. "Alex, what was the meaning of that ghastly shouting of yours...,"
I stared at her with a very fierce look. She began to lift her hoof up with a tad bit of fear and I decided to calm her down. After a while, Rarity had gotten over the "drama queen" routine and decided to actually help me look for rubies.
I stretched a little while I was digging. "Wow, finding rubies ain't easy, there's no way we'll ,"
"Found some!," Rarity said.
I gave a shocked look. "WHAT!? But... you just started like a minute ago!?," I said, running towards Rarity, seeing her levitating a few sparking jewels.
She smiled and giggled at my comment. "Oh Alex, there's just a few things you have yet to know about us ponies.," She stated. "And besides, how lucky it was for me to find some engraved on a few rocks!," She said with excitement.
"Why's that lucky?," I asked.
"Because I didn't have to dirty my beautiful hooves doing this type of work just isn't my style you know?," Rarity replied to me with a very staggering look.
"Oh... I could tell...," I said under my breath.
"Excuse me?," She asked.
"Uh..n-nothing, anyways... since you had that much luck finding those gemstones, why would you need me?," I asked.
"Well, I had to find someone who was willing to dig on just such an occasion~," Rarity said fluttering her eyes at me.
I looked at Rarity with a blushed face and went back to looking for more rubies and diamonds. More minutes passed and me and Rarity had plenty of gems that could be used to finish the decorations on her dress and future fashion dilemmas.
"Wow, that felt like it took hours to do!," I said, falling on the soft, sandy ground.
"Agreed, Alex, I'm exhaaaaaaaausted!," Rarity added in using her magic to pull the couch and a glass of lemonade to herself.
"What are you talking about... I did all the real digging here...-.-"
I looked up at Rarity for a second and though of asking a question I had on my mind. "Hey Rarity, who is that dress for anyways I-I mean I saw the one on Mia and she looked beautiful.," I said nervously.
Rarity made a very worrisome face at me and levitated the lemonade she was drinking down to me.
"What are you...," I was silenced by Rarity's hoof and she smiled.
"You and Mia are trapped in Equestria, no?," She asked. "So you should have as much fun as you can!," She said as she waved her glass of lemonade at me, I picked it up and looked inside.
"You know...that sounds like something Pinkie Pie would say.," I said, drinking the lemonade.
"Oh, haha...you're right Alex.," Rarity replied.
An awkward silence was casted for a moment until we both realized what just happened. "Wait d-did I just drink from your lemonade..?," I asked embarrassed.
"I was caught in the moment!," Rarity said, trying to keep her composure on the couch.
"We...should get back to that dress of yours, haha.," I said, removing the small lemonade mustache I had on my lips.
*****
Rarity and I made out way back to Carousel Boutique, then she jumped in front of me without a single noticed of her actions from me.
"What are you doing this time, Rarity?," I asked her.
"Well you did ask me who the dress was for, did you not?," She sad modestly.
"Oh, yea I did!," I replied.
"It's for one of my pony friends from Canterlot, she just absolutely adores my style and was considering I'd surprise her with a small gift of appreciation!," Rarity said with a smile.
"Haha, sounds like a well-respected admirer if you ask me!," I said in response.
"Actually, Alex, I do have something to ask of you from her.," Rarity said turning towards me.
I blinked once in surprise. "Huh, what would that be?," I asked.
"She is EAGER to meet a human, such as yourself, and wanted you to come to Canterlot for a visit!," She said, pointing her hoof at me.
"Well, I do really want to find out how that Canterlot place looks like...," I repeatedly tapped my foot on the ground thinking of my answer. "Sure, I wouldn't mind it at all!," I replied smiling.
"Fabulous, I'll make the arrangements as soon as I'm done with her dazzling dress!," Rarity said hurrying inside her boutique.
I watched as she trotted inside. "A gorgeous marshmallow...what the heck was I thinking when I said that.," I said sighing and face-palming myself.
*****
I helped Rarity finish the rest of the dress. It was pretty fun to be totally honest though I did almost stitch half of the unfinished dress onto my shirt, I did get a constant scolding from Rarity, who seemed to enjoy picking on me. Night had finally came and I felt so worn out from today, I decided it was time to leave.
"Okay, take cares, Rarity!," I said as I made my way out.
As I walked along the path to get Fluttershy's cottage, I noticed an unusual array of dark clouds that shone in the moonlit sky.
"They say that the weather here is controlled by pegasi, right?," I said to myself.
The moment I got towards the brooks of the cottage's front yard I saw a few mysterious silhouettes in the sky, there were three of them.
"Wow, I think I'm seeing things.," I said, shaking my head.
I knocked on the door, and Fluttershy invited me in, along with a hug. She flew back over to Angel who continued to thump his feet, waiting for his food. He glared at me with competitive eyes, and I gave the same look back.
"Grrr...oh you win this time...I'm pooped...," I said, falling into my bed as the victorious bunny ate his food happily.
"Mister Alex, are you okay?," Fluttershy asked.
"Yup, just exhausted from Rarity...," I said, laying wearily on my bed.
"Oh, poor mister Alex...," Fluttershy said. she started to sing a lullaby to help me sleep, then Angel crossed his arms in anger.
"Heh, even if I'm not trying, Fluttershy still accepts me more, you brute bunny!,"
Fluttershy's lullaby starting to affect me as I drifted off to sleep more and more. "I wonder what Canterlot is like...if it's anything like Ponyville, I might like it...," I yawned and fell into a deep slumber.
Chapter 13: A Stroll In Canterlot [Part 1]
It's been decided that I promised Rarity that I'd go and meet her friend in a town called Canterlot while every pony tagged along. Mia and I decided to go to Rarity's boutique to check if she was packed and ready to leave.
"So you've been famous even before I got here, Alex?," Mia asked in awe.
"Well, I wouldn't say famous...more like... well known as a human.," I said shrugging.
"That's still the same!," Mia replied back, poking my face unexpectedly.
"Hey, I can't help how fast news travels around Equestria!," I stated.
After a while, we reached Carousel Boutique. "I hope Rarity's ready to go!," I said, opening the door only yo find a humongous pack filled with luggage sitting in the middle of the room.
"I think she's ready.," Mia answered, laughing.
I tried to fix myself together as I continued looking at the giant bag of carrying materials. "I can't even see her shop's roof!," I said. "What the heck does she think she's doing, BRINGING THE ENTIRE BOUTIQUE!?," I screamed, falling to my knees and putting my arms out towards the crazed luggage.
"Oh no, that's just the way she always travel.," said a voice from behind the luggage.
"Huh, who was that?," Mia asked.
"Oh, sorry, hehe!,"Sweetie Belle came hopping around the huge baggage.
"Oh, it's you Sweetie Belle.," I said, staring fixedly at the little filly.
Mia gasped. "Oh so CUTE, why didn't you tell me you knew another little filly!," Mia screamed in delight as she tried rushing forward to hug Sweeite Belle.
Sweetie Belle flinched a little. "Um...," She reacted with a shocked expression. Soon she was caught in Mia's grasp and started laughing. "Haha, w-what's going on?," She asked, laughing from Mia's hugging.
I face palmed. "Eh, that's just Mia being Mia... again.," I explained. "Anyways, what are you doing here?," I asked in surprise.
Sweetie Belle soon got out of Mia's hug and tilted her head at me. "You mean I haven't told you?," She asked as she came up towards me.
"Told me what? Oh, I bet Rarity accidentally packed you in her huge luggage, didn't she?," I said, slightly laughing.
Sweetie Belle shock her head in response. "Haha, no Alex, Rarity's my sister!," She corrected, trotting back around where she came from.
"Wait, what!?," I said, unaware that I was too late to ask her a second question. "Huh, I learn something new everyday in this world...," I said scratching the back of my head.
"Mhm!," Mia added on.
After I heard a door shut behind where the giant luggage was, me and Mia heard Rarity humming as she came from behind it. "Alrighty then, seems I'm ready to go!," She said joyfully.
I rushed towards Rarity and gave her a very disturbing glare. "W-What seems to be the problem, Alex?," rarity asked as she was slightly terrified from my sudden gaze.
"Well...I think Alex is very curious about your...um...stuff that you're bringing to Canterlot.," Mia stated, trying to prevent me from scaring Rarity any longer.
"Well a lady such as myself should have the proper necessities whenever they're traveling.," Rarity replied nonchalantly.
"Ooooooh that's a lot of stuff, Rarity!," said a voice coming from behind the luggage once again.
"Hey that sounded like Pinkie Pie!," I said in an instant.
"Abso-possi-tubly~♪," Pinkie said, popping from behind Mia.
"Hey Pinkie, how've you been!?," Mia asked as her and Pinkie started playing patty cake.
"I'm been super duper great, hey! I was at this really fun party not too long ago and it had THE BEST AND BIGGEST CAKE EVER and I just wanted to bring all of you some of it!," Pinkie said with a smile.
"Sweet, so...where are our pieces?," I asked, starving for a frosted treat.
"I kinda couldn't find a big enough bag to fit it all in, that cake WAS huge after all!," Pinkie stated.
I shot a confused look at Pinkie Pie. "Wait... you said you wanted to share SOME of it with us... not all of it, right?," I asked.
Pinkie nodded her head. "Mhm!" She replied.
"Uh huh...," I said, still confused over the pink pony's lack of sense.
I returned my attention towards Rarity as she was walking towards me. "Hmm, do you need something, Rarity?," I asked as she stood in front of me.
"Well, as you can see I have all this luggage I so desperately need to bring and I can't seem to pick it up...could you perhaps...," She said, giving me an endearing stare.
I was flustered a bit until Mia interrupted. "Aw, come on Rarity, you can't just hypnotize Alex like that... it's wrong!," She said, wiggling her finger at Rarity.
"Oh, haha...pardon me, then may I ask for your help in carrying these?," Rarity asked, this time smiling.
I nodded. "I guess I can carry it, but it'll need to um...lighten up.," I said with a very exaggerated grin.
*****
Pinkie left as Mia and I helped Rarity fix her luggage capacity, removing all pf the unnecessary gear, there was no way in the world of Equestria I was going to break my back carrying something that huge.
"I think no pony would need THAT much stuff, I mean who would fit an entire wardrobe in a bag like that!?," I said, trying to regain my energy.
"Apparently Rarity, haha!," Mia replied.
*****
It was time to head to Ponyville''s train station and I saw Twilight, Fluttershy, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, and Spike there.
"I wonder how their trains operate since there's barely any electricity in this place..."
"So we're going to Canterlot, I've been planning to return back to it's library for a long time!," Twilight said in excitement.
"Ah'd be very pleases to go to Canterlot and sell some of sweet ole' Apple Acres apples there for a while!," Applejack said, wheeling a wagon full of apples to the back of the carrier train compartment.
"Ooh, I can go search out some fancy ponies in Canterlot to play with, I'm sure they'll be HAPPY to party with me!," Pinkie screamed as she jumped onto my head for the moment.
I grabbed Pinkie Pie and placed her back on the ground, she and everyone else laughed at her playfulness. The train announced that they would begin to leave shortly.
"Hey, where's Rainbow Dash?," I asked, looking over the area of the train station.
"Oh, Rainbow Dash said she had some important duties to take care of, mister Alex.," Fluttershy said, flying over head.
"Uh huh, she said she'll join us in Canterlot after she's done!," Spike added.
"The train's about to leave,too, should we get going?," Mia asked hesitantly.
"We had to wait until Rarity get her... what's taking her?," I said thumping my feet on the ground. I saw a silhouette in the distance and spotted Rarity, but something was a bit off. "Rarity!," I said in a somewhat worried and angry tone.
"What? I couldn't help but bring some more of my designs along.," She said pouting a bit while carrying a few dresses on her back.
I sighed and shook my head. "This fashionista's something else...," I said underneath my breathe.
"All aboard every pony, the train is about to leave!," Said the conductor.
"Psst, Mia...," I whispered, trying to catch her attention from playing with Pinkie Pie for a second. "What do you think a train with no electricity runs off of?," I asked with a curious face.
"Huh, oh that's easy, it runs on HORSE POWER!," Mia replied, ever so bliss.
"...and cue comedic drum roll, please!"
"Y-Yea, I thought you'd say something like that...," I responded laughing.
*****
Me, Mia, and the others ponies were assigned to 3 cars, so that way other passengers wouldn't get distracted with our antics and for equal sharing space. Everyone got settled in really well, then Fluttershy tugged my shirt the second I sat down.
"Oh, what is it Fluttershy?," I asked.
"Well...mister Alex I was wondering about that night at...Celestia's party...," She replied softly.
"Oh, haha...t-that...," I said blushing a little.
"Ooooooh, did someone say party!?," Both Pinkie and Mia said in unison, coming between Fluttershy and I. "I hears something about a party, what party was it!?," Mia asked putting her face close to mines.
"Well, y-yea, Fluttershy was at the party we threw Princess Celestia.," I said, a bit uncomfortable of Mia's range towards me.
Pinkie threw her hooves up. "Yup, that party was soooooo fantastic, I had lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots ," she gasped for air before continuing. "And lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots ,"
Pinkie was topped when I poked her on the head. "Lots of...?," I said.
"Hehe, lots of fun!~♪," Pinkie finished with a smile.
Oh yes, me and mister Alex danced at Princess Celestia's party in a small forest opening until she arrived, he and I were dancing so beautifully...," Fluttershy said, putting her front hooves to cover her flustering face.
"A dance in a forest opening with soothing music, sounds romantic!~♥," Mia said, pushing her face closer to mines.
"M-Mia...," I said trying to get her from coming any closer. The moment I was about to push Mia away, I looked her in the eyes and realized something.
*****
{"Wow, I was just here to sing, but you gave me a chance to dance too..?," Mia sad, beginning to shed tears.
"Come on Mia, you deserve this moment, you were given the title prom queen, after all!," I said smiling.
"Oh Alex...," Mia said, putting her head on my shoulder and we began to dance.}
*****
I stared a bit at Mia some more, noticing her eyes had tiny tears coming out as her face was really close to mines.
"Oh right...I forgot I did the same thing for her...haha."
"Um, mister Alex?," Fluttershy said, tugging my shirt again.
"Huh, oh, sorry there Fluttershy, I lost it for a second there.," I said laughing, then I saw Mia smiling at me with Pinkie Pie playfully jumping everywhere on the train.
*****
After a while, everyone was set up in their assigned carts: Applejack, Spike, Twilight, and Pinkie Pie was in the first cart; Mia, Fluttershy and I in the second; And, for her beauty sleep I was told, Rarity has a cart for herself in the third. It was quickly getting late and a few of the ponies were already asleep.
"Wow, I never knew the travel to Canterlot would be so long.," I said, holding a lanterns nearby.
"Well...the original travel direction to Canterlot was cut off by a rock slide that occurred yesterday.," Twilight stated as she was comforting herself in her covers.
"Hope we'll be there by morning...," Mia said, then she yawned. "I need sleep, I'm heading back to my bed, goodnight you two!," She said, returning to our cart.
Me and Twilight were still awake for the meantime, it was becoming harder to see, that is until Twilight used her glowing magic to help with that situation.
"I guess magic has it's casual uses."
"I've been recently looking into these magical spells that Princess Celestia had sent me...they seem pretty advanced for a pony like me to cast.," Twilight said, putting one hoof up to her mouth.
"Come on Twilight, I know you can pull off amazing spells, I mean... I've seen you float, teleport and and even use levitation! Aren't those cool spells enough?," I said.
Twilight seems flattered. "Yea, they are really wonderful spells and levitation is kind of basic, but.... that teleportation spell did take some times back when I was a filly in Canterlot.," She said, thinking to herself.
"Can't I help you with her magic problem then?," I asked kindly.
"No, no it's fine, Spike is always willing to test my spells!," Twilight replied clapping her hooves together.
I looked at Spike, he was sleeping with a little bit of drool coming from hit mouth and was halfway about to fall off of his bed, then I looked back at Twilight.
"What are these..."pretty advanced" spells anyways?," I asked curiously.
"Hmm... let me see, there's a time stopping spell, a transformation spell, and a mind reading spell...," Twilight was interrupted by me.
"A transformation spell!?," I said in surprise, falling off the bed, nearly waking up Spike and Applejack.
"Umg...two apple fritters....puttin' up the barn... Ah'll do it Granny...," Applejack said, snoring.
"Wow, heave sleepers, aren't they..?," I said. I sat myself back on Twilight's bed. "Oh, about that transformation spell, how does it work?," I asked, peeking into Twilight's book she was reading.
"Well, it says here that the spell is able to morph any living being into any type of pony he or she desires most...oh, sounds interesting!," Twilight said happily.
"Hmm, that doesn't sound so bad, being any type of pony, eh?," I said, thinking of the possibilities.
"I wonder how I'd be as a pony, not too different I hope!"
Twilight looked at me with a very concerned face. "You wouldn't be suggesting that I should test the spell on you, right?," She asked with a half intrigued face.
I smiled. "Does a pig fly?," I asked in a trivial voice.
Twilight's eyes widened. "I-Is that a yes or a not because you still haven't told me if they do from where you come from.," She asked, hopelessly confused.
I decided to ditch the trivial question and take things seriously. "Well...depends if the spell's permanent or not, I wouldn't mind being a test subject!," I replied.
"Hmm...," Twilight said looking over at Spike's sleeping face. "I suppose trying my magic on any pony or dragon has produced the same results...but I'll give it a shot!," twilight said as we shook hand to hoof on our deal.
*****
After discussing our deal to try out the transformation spell without Spike knowing was done, I headed to my cart to go to sleep, once I got back I noticed a bulge in my bed.
"What the...oh, it's probably just some pillows stacked up by Mia and Pinkie playing around to much.," I said with a small laugh, then I removed the covers.
To my surprise I found Mia sleeping in my bed with her gown that she arrived in Equestria with. "W-W-What!?," I said, quickly covering my mouth from being too surprised to shout so I wouldn't make up Fluttershy and Mia. "...oh man this is bad, why would Mia go into my bed, I mean he bed's right above mine and ,"
Before I could finish, I heard Mia say something as she slept. "Alex...you're so kinda...and make everyone happy...I think I lo ," She ended and went back to snoozing.
I looked at her with a very content face, then pulled the covers on her so she won't get cold. "Ah, I won't complain about it this time...," I whispered to myself, then I headed up to Mia's bed instead and started gazing outside of the window, looking at the night sky.
That's something about Eqeustria I just can't explain that makes it so peaceful, I kinda wish things back at home were like this, haha.," I said, yawning. "Eh no time to worry about that, good night ...Fluttershy...Mia...every pony.," I said, drifting of to sleep.
Chapter 14: A Stroll In Canterlot [Part 2]
Morning came and every one was awake, over night we had reached Canterlot while me and Twilight were discussing our little experiment she wanted to try out on me and decided to hold off on it until we had the time.
I rose in my bed stretched and yawned a little. "Wow, that was a good night's sleep!," I said energized. I felt something fluffy when I stretched my arms out. "Huh...something soft is in my bed...," I said poking it again,but I was sure it wasn't a pillow.
I unraveled the sheets and found that it was poor Fluttershy, who had a rather flustered expression on her face. "...F-F-F-Fluttershy!?," I said, surprised.
"Oh...," Fluttershy couldn't say much with her embarrassed expression.
"I'm BEYOND SORRY, I didn't see you...I-I mean...I...," I kept panicking as Fluttershy settled down.
"I felt something touching my wing and I thought it was Angel, I'm so sorry for thinking you were him.," Fluttershy said fidgeting both of her front hooves together.
"Uh...," I replied with slightly less shuddering, then I smiled and patted Fluttershy on the head. "It's not like I was...that much of that...sweet...bunny of yours.," I said trying to force the words to come out as caring as I could to comfort her.
"I WILL NEVER EVER WANT TO BE THAT DEMONIC BRUTE OF A BUNNY..!"
Fluttershy gave a refreshing smile.
"BOO!," said a loud voice out of nowhere.
"Aaaaah!," Me and Fluttershy reacted as both of us fell off the top bed.
After pain was gone and Fluttershy got off of me, we encountered Mia laughing mischievously at what seemed to be her way of a good morning. "Haha, you should've seen the looks on your faces, you two are so cute being scared together!~," She said as she sat up in my bed still half asleep.
"Come on Mia, can't you give Fluttershy a break at least?," I pleaded.
Mia stopped her laughing then got out of her bed. The moment she got up, one of her arm strings of her sleeping gown was slightly slipping off.
"M-Mia!," I said aiming for the arm string.
"Uwah!?," She responded with a blushed face.
I pulled up her arm string and approached her face accidentally. "Um...awkward situation..." I said laughing
"Um...mhm...," Mia said trying to adjust to the situation we were in.
"Are you two okay?," said a voice from behind Fluttershy.
"What the...Spike!?," I said, turning to him and averting my situation with Mia.
Spike looked at me weird and shook his head. "Twilight told me to come and tell you that we're at Canterlot station!," He replied eagerly.
"Oh, sweet! Let's go check this place out!," I said.
Mia looked at me with a pouting expression.
"Wonder what's gotten into her?"
Pinkie Pie and Applejack both zoomed off the train in excitement. "Ah'd better get to sellin' these apples while ah still can!," Applejack said heading off into town.
"And there's soooooo many royal ponies to have fun parties with, it's gonna be so...," Pinkie let in a huge gasp. "AMAZIIIIIIIIING!," She shouted zooming off.
"Wow those two seem in a rush, how about you three Twilight, Spike, and Fluttershy?," I asked looking at them.
"Well I'm heading over to the library, I have much to look over that I don't know yet...just hope I have access to the royal archives still.," Twilight said.
"And I'll be accompanying her!," Spike said with glee.
"I'll be playing with all the critters in the Canterlot gardens of Princess Celestia's castle...I mean... with her permission of course...," Fluttershy said while flying.
"Care to join!?," All of them asked.
"Haha...sorry, I'm kinda here to meet Rarity's friend first so... I'll think about it.," I said shifting my eyes the other way.
They all seemed a bit down to hear that, but continued on to their destinations and I was left with a sleepy Mia and "getting dolled-up" Rarity. After a while, Rarity came out of her cart carrying a little luggage.
"Wait a second...where's the rest of it?," I asked, confused.
"Pardon?Oh, why the carrier's handling it for me.~," Rarity replied walking off the train.
"The carrier...?," I said once I spotted an orange stallion trying hard to get Rarity's belongings out of the train. "Oh geez...," I said face-palming.
I spotted Mia heading out of the train as I followed behind. "So this is Canterlot, what a great place!,"She said admiring the shining city.
"Wow...you're right, I think this is like the Beverly Hills of Equestria, don't ya think!," I said laughing along with Mia.
"What's a Beverly Hills?," Rarity asked with a puzzled look on her face
Mia and I explained to Rarity about a place called Beverly Hills and she started to laugh a little. "Well that place does sound awfully fancy and exquisite as Canterlot, though this IS the region where most of our royals live.," She said with glitter in her eyes.
I looked around the Canterlot scenery with Rarity, hauling a few designs in a small carrier bag, and Mia who was clinging to my arm because of her sleepy disposition. Every pony looked at us as if we were a bunch of odd balls.
"Wow, feels like that stare I got from Nichole on her first day she met me...," I said while supporting Mia.
"Pardon me, Alex, but who's this Nichole you speak of?," Rarity asked.
"Oh, she's another girls I know who is usually compassionate and above all...wealthy, but she's doesn't brag about it! She's pretty wonderful if you get to know her better!," I replied with a smile.
"My, you have some interesting friends from your world.," Rarity said, stopping and putting her hoof to her mouth. "Aha, this is the place!," She said pointing her left hoof to a building that seemed to be made out of marble and other rare gemstones.
"holy shimmering goodness...!," I said in awe.
Mia had wiped her eyes and mumbled about something shining in her eyes, then she woke up. "The sun's extra shiny today...w-w-whoa!?," Mia said as she let go of my arm and clasped her hands together and stared in sight of the magnificent structure.
I laughed at her then I saw Rarity heading up to the entrance to the glowing place. "Ah, Marble's Boutique does look absolutely fabulous, if I do say so myself.," She said, knocking on the door.
"Fabulous...fabulous...fabulous? IT'S TOTALLY AMAZING!"
The door opened and saw a joyful pony bouncing up and down. She was a brown coated mare with brown and light brown highlights in her name and tail, and had a cinnamon bun as her cutie mark.
"Huh...I can't believe it...c-could she be an edible pony..?," I said under my breath.
"Oh, you must be Rarity!," said the hyperactive pony.
"Yup, that's me, I'm here to see miss Marble if she's in.," Rarity said with a very content look.
"Aw...sorry Rarity, but you juuuuuuust missed her, she headed towards Celestia's castle a while ago!," She stated with a smile.
" I see, well I guess I'll...wait...Princess Celestia wanted her!?," Rarity replied with a piercing stare to the frightened mare.
"U-Uhuh...," replied the pony.
"I see...alrighty then, to the castle we go!," Rarity said trotting off to the direction of the castle.
"Hmm, wonder what's gotten stuck into Rarity's hoof.," I said snickering.
*****
Mai and I headed in the direction Rarity went in, then something caught Mia's interest. I stared at her walking into a crowd of ponies where there was lights coming from something in front of them.
"Huh, what's going on over there, Mia!?," I yelled.
Most of the other ponies and unicorns glared at me and said "Sssssshhhuuush!,"
I had been silenced by every pony, including Mia, then they returned their attention forward. I walked over to a clear opening in the crowd where Mia was, and she stood there in awe looking at flashing lights.
"Mia...what's got you so...," I stopped whispering for the moment and stared at a stagecoach that looked to be morphed into a stage that had lots of exploding fireworks and sound effects that you could compare to a movie theater. "Whoa, what is this?," I asked in awe.
Just in a moment's notice, a huge cloud of purple explosion popped up on stage, as the smoke started to settle, I saw a shadow castes within it's mist. The entire crowd of ponies were dazzled and silent, me and Mia were also taken in by this phenomenon. After the smoke was completely gone, there stood a pony I thought I'd never see, she looked clothed in a cape with stars on it, had a blue covered mane and coat, and sported a very benevolent look onto the audience. The blue unicorn opened up her cape and swished it to make room for her hind legs to show, giving a sparkling glow afterwards.
"Wow, that's one unlikely unicorn I've seen ever since I've came to Equestria...," I said staring at the stunning mare.
"It is I, the GREAT and POWERFUL Trixie who has appeared before you!," said the blue unicorn as fireworks went off from behind her. "Witness my spectacular magic that has been performed throughout all of Equestria, magic that you've never seen!," said the showboating unicorn, releasing more flashes of fireworks for the crowd.
"Wow, she's pretty amazing!," Mia said as she was pulled into Trixie's entertaining grasp.
"Haha, yea she is!," I agreed.
Trixie started out an act where she used her horn to create sparkling figures resembling somewhat animal-like figures with their natural actions, the crowd was turning from "oohs" to "aahs". She ended with some giant figure of what looked like a blue bears.
"She's so talented!," Mia eagerly said.
I nodded in agreements as I watched Trixie's performance, but then I noticed something was wrong with her after the figure she cast started to attack her out of will.
"Waaaah!," Trixie reacted as she slipped and fell off her cape and landed so heavily on her face.
"I'd imagine an Ursa Minor would make anyone react like that...," said one of the royal ponies.
"Indeed, but to be afraid of your own act, it's not what some pony "great and powerful" would do...is it not?," asked another one of the royal ponies.
The audience of royals all left with a few sporting disappointed faces, with Mia looking every way at them walking from the scene. Trixie had poofed out of her sorrowful disposition back onto the center of the stage, the moment she got her act together, she noticed that the entire audience had left.
"Ah, how dare you leave the GREAT AND POWERFUL TRIXIE, I PROMISE YOU I'll ," Trixie stopped her angry speech once she caught presence of Mia and me.
"Those were some fantastic magic tricks, Trixie!," Mia said clapping and putting up her hands in excitement.
Trixie gave a small grin then gave a startling look. "Trixie doesn't believe she's seen such creatures such as yourselves in this world of Equestria.," She said as she bowed her head from Mia's love of her performance.
"Oh...well that's because we're humans, I guess Princess Celestia never told every pony, huh?," I said laughing.
"Are you saying Trixie is too stupid to not know what you are...?," Trixie said with an attitude.
"W-What, no way...I was just saying.," I replied whistling.
Trixie glared at me with some insightful hate in her eyes. "ANYWAYS, Trixie hopes you were dazzled by her performance!," She said spreading her cape with sparkles flying out.
"I did like it! Especially the part where you fell down, it was funny!," I replied laughing.
Trixie poofed from off the stage and right in front of me. "That...WASN'T...PART...OF...TRIXIE'S PERFORMANCE!," She said, staring me dead in the face.
"Uh..." I responded uncomfortably.
"Man, I shouldn't get on this mare's bad side....better come up with something to break the ice!"
I scratched the back of my head. "Hahaha... it wasn't... part of ,"
"NO, IT WASN'T!," Trixie shouted.
"Geez...um...sorry...," I said as I tilted my head down.
"Well it matters not, if you'll excuse me, Trixie will be moving on to her next town!," Trixie said as she started for her stagecoach.
Once she was almost about to put the stage away, something hit the top and the entire set started to collapse on Trixie.
"Oh my goodness, Trixie!," Mia cried out.
The moment I heard creaking, I lifted my head out of disappointment and saw defenseless Trixie about to be flattened. "Trixie!," I screamed as I ran for her.
Trixie remained still in fears until I picked her up and ran out of the stage's dropping distance...barely. The stage collapsed with lots of dust coming from the ground impact, then Mia saw me carrying Trixie in my arms. Trixie's traumatized self fadded and she realized I was carrying her, she looked at me with somewhat adoring eyes.
"I wouldn't expect this kind of look from her..."
"You...saved Trixie's...I mean...my life...," Trixie said looking at me a little more.
"Hey, you can hate me all you want, but I can't just let any pony get injured now can I?," I said smiling at Trixie.
Trixie blushed a bit, then her horn began to glow and poofed out of my hands and ported close to Mia. "Please DON'T touch Trixie!," She said, dusting herself off.
I looked at Trixie and apologized, then she turned her head the other way. "T-Trixie is grateful for what you've done, but never again will Trixie be in a state of endangerment anymore!," She said levitating the tilted stage of hers and packing it away magically.
"Some unicorns are pretty powerful with their magic...," I said looking at the potential unicorn.
"What even made the stage fall over in the first place?," Mia asked without a thought of what it could it have been.
We all looked up and spotted a pegasus that was flying and removing what appeared to be a bag of some sort.
"Is that...Derpy Hooves?," I asked confused.
"D-Derpy Hooves?," Mia said, looking at me with an angered face.
"Hey, hey, it's her name!," I said trying to redirect Mia's attention to Derpy.
"Oh...hehe, MY BAD!," Derpy shouted aloud and left in a haste with her mail carrier bag.
"That pegasus is gonna hurt someone with that bag of hers beside me...I can tell!"
"The GREAT and POWERFUL Trixie shall bid you farewell!," Trixie had said giving her final bow for me and Mia.
"Take cares GREAT and POWERFUL Trixie!," Mia said with excitement.
The beloved pony gave a benevolent smile once again, then she looked at me. "Trixie will then be seeing you...," Trixie said walking inside her stagecoach with a yet content facial expression. Her stagecoach then started moving on it's on and wheeled off the scene.
"I...think she still hates me.," I said with a blunt expression.
"Aw, don't think like that Alex, she loved you!," Mia said with a smile.
"Who wouldn't love their savior from certain doom,huh, huh?," Mia said nudging me with her arm.
"Well...I don't know...," I said looking off to the distance that Trixie trailed off to.
Mia clung to my arm and I flinched a little. "This is such a beautiful place...I still wonder how we got stuck in a world such as Equestria, Alex...," Mia said as she was hugging up to me.
"Yea, I wonder about that too... w-wait, we'd better go find Rarity!," I said trying to get some distance from Mia.
*****
We rushed towards the same direction Rarity was headed in and came across a huge palace.
"*pant* I think that's the...*pant*...castle that Rarity went to!," I said pacing ahead of Mia.
"How can you tell?," She asked as she kept up with me.
I turned my head a little backwards to give Mia a "oh come on" look.
"What?," She reacted hastily.
"A giant castle...bigger than all the rest...has guards...yea, it's like MANY other structures for princesses to live in...," I replied as I turned back to the castle me and Mia were approaching ahead.
"I was just wondering...," Mia said pouting.
"We made it to the castle entrance, and yes, we were tired the moment we got there. The guards who were at the entrance looked at us with slight suspicion and curiosity.
"Just *pant* let *pant* me *pant* catch my *pant* breathe! *pant*," I said, panting constantly.
"You really need to work out more, Alex!~," Mia said giggling.
The guards starting putting their hooves up to their mouths and started grinning as well.
I caught sight of their selfish snickering. " Hey, if you had the legs like mine you'd be worn out too!," I said regaining my stamina.
The guards had stopped their laughing and commenced to their regal, protective state. "No authorized species is allowed to pass without Princess Celestia's orders!," said one of the guards.
"Oh boy, these ponies are serious, Alex.," Mia said hiding behind me.
"Don't worry, Mia, I've got a plan...," I said as I approached one of the guards.
"Say...could we um...you know get it to see the princess...," I said secretly passing an item to the guard.
The guard just stared at the item then back at me, then gave a deadpanned look.
"So, what do ya say, huh,huh?," I said shrugging my shoulders with a slight show of arrogance.
The guard threw the item on the ground then Mia looked at it. "You...tried to bribe the guard...with a cookie...," Mia said with a humored and troublesome look.
The other guards facehooved themselves at my fail.
"Aw come on! Pinkie Pie can do it and get away with it, but I CAN'T!?," I stated.
The guards looked at us more feisty than before.
"Oooh...please, please, pleeeeease let us in!?," Mia and I asked in unison.
The guards stepped forwards, looking as if they'd retaliate against us soon. Suddenly a voice came from behind me and Mia.
"Can't you guards tell that all they want to do is go inside and see the princess!?," said the voice.
"Ah...why should we allow them too miss Marble?," asked one of the guards.
"Because they're with me!," said the voice with much willingness.
"Wait a minute...Marble, didn't I hear that name before?"
I looked around and spotted a pony that had Rarity's marshmallow-like coat, but instead it was a little light blue and had a very well tied bow in her mane.
"M-M-M...," I kept repeating.
Mia finished for me. "Marble?," She said.
"Marshmallow number two!," I said, pointing at Marble.
Marble looked at me odd in the face and lightly trotted towards the entrance.
Once the guards had let us through the gate and we reached inside the castle, Mia, Marble, and I were recovering from our almost violent incident.
"Phew...was THAT close!," I said rustling my fair wildly.
"Mhm, if it wasn't for Marble...we would've seen how violent some ponies could get...," Mia said clinging to me once again.
"Trust me, I've seen just half of how vicious some ponies could be...just ask Pinkie Pie!"
I tried to escape Mia's grasp until suddenly I was pounced on. "W-Whoa!," I said as I was slammed down to the ground with a slight head injury. "Who in the ...,"
Soon I saw Marble upon me with a huge smile. "Oh my world of Equestria, you're...you're..." Marble kept giving me eyes of adornment. "A HUMAN!," She screamed, clinging to my other arm.
"Uh...," I said, traumitized from the position I was in. Mia and Marble were too forceful to let me go and then I had gone silent.
"Mmm..Alex?," Mia asked.
"Human...are you okay?," Marble asked leaning over to see my face.
Mia and Marble noticed I was passed out and started to panic. "I...I think we overdid it...," Marble said.
Mia shook her head.
It was clear that I had passed out because of exhaustion and started to sleep.
I get to Canterlot thinking that I'll have a wonderful time without having to worry about any issues and that I would get the chance to sight-see catch some rays...okay maybe not the rays, but I can imagine can I? Anyways, the moment I head to Canterlot, the friend Rarity mentioned who wanted to meet me wasn't in her Boutique and we went through a huge problem as to getting into Celestia's castle just to reach her. Mia and I had out work cut out for us until we were somewhat rescued by a mare named Marble, a familiar name if you ask me, we all were finally allowed into the castle in peace.
*****
I was still a little sleepy and steadily becoming conscious again. "Ugh...my sides... never again will I allow girls to hug me so mush ever...ever again.," I said with my eyes closed.
"Well Alex, I'm sorry to hear such a thing, that's honestly a way Marble shows her gratitude you know, darling.," said a voice.
I opened my eyes to see who it was that just spoke, and to my surprise it was rarity who was standing near me while I was laying in the bed. "Rarity!," I said laying upright.
"It's nice to see you're alright, Alex... Marble and Mia were so worried about your condition.," rarity said while walking over to what appeared to be her luggage from the train station.
"Can't... believe that carrier got all that stuff from there to HERE!,"
"I'm guessing that Marble pony was the friend you were talking about, huh?," I asked.
Rarity smiled and nodded.
I looked around the bedroom and noticed some similarities it had to Rarity's room at the Carousel Boutique back in Ponyville. "Wow, so you live here too!?," I said with astonishment.
"Not quite, I've used this room once I was given the honor to live amongst the royals as I've been producing designs for Celestia's important celebration!," Rarity said looking about the room, nostalgically.
I stared at Rarity and wondered."Say... rarity... you're not a royal?," I asked in confusion.
Rarity turned her head towards me. "My, whatever gave you that idea?," She replied with a very disturbed expression.
"Oh yeah... not liking to get dirty, wearing dresses almost all the time, always staying "petite" in situations definitely not a royal, but indeed a drama queen sometimes.,"
"Hmm... just a hunch!," I said, whistling afterwards.
The door had opened upon the moment I was about to get out of the bed. I looked who was coming inside, it appeared to be two white coated ponies, one who was a pegasus with a snow white mane, and the other was a unicorn with a black mane, both had a flower in their manes.
"Wow, those two look unique...," I said as I continued rubbing the side of my arms. "I wish those two went easy on the hugging.," I said laughing distinctly.
"It's a pleasure to meet you!," said the pegasus.
The unicorn nodded and put her hoof up in a way of saying hi.
"Ooookay, I wonder what's wrong with the unicorn, maybe I'm freaking her out without knowing it?,"
"It's nice to meet you two as well, the name's Alex!," I responded.
rarity walked towards the two and started to chat to them about something, then exited the room. The two looked at me and the pegasus flew over to me and the unicorn walked over.
"You must be the special guest Princess Celestia told us about!," the pegasus said with glee. "We've never sen your kind before... that is down in the royal quarters a while ago.," Said the pegasus.
"Wait, what do you mean?," I asked as I looked at the flying pegasus.
"You won't hug us so hard will you?," The pegasus said as her and the unicorn made concerned faces.
I looked at the two scared ponies.
"My guess... Mia"
"No worries, I promise not to hug you two unless you really want me to!," I said putting up my hand to symbolize an oath of promise.
The ponies were satisfied and continued on to introducing themselves.
"Well, my name is Sunshine Bloom and I hope we'll be very best of friends!," said the pegasus.
"So cheerful and full of energy!,"
"..." The unicorn stayed silent.
"Is... there something wrong with her?," I asked looking at the unicorn, worried.
"Oh, forgive her... she's a bit shy and doesn't talk to most ponies...," Sunshine said.
"Ah...," I said getting out of bed and let my hand approach the cautious unicorn.
"H-hey, what are you trying to ," Sunshine began to worry and tried to stop me because she thought I would hurt her mare friend.
Then I knelt down to the suddenly scared unicorn and petted her.
"..!," The unicorn had opened her closed eyes and realized what I was doing, then she started enjoying it.
"Whoa, she's reacting more to this than Fluttershy!," I said mumbling to myself.
"I never saw some pony do that before...," said Sunshine.
"Wait, you've never seen anyone...erm... anypony pet another pony before?," I asked, surprised.
"I just realized that sounded weird...didn't it?,"
Sunshine had nodded her head, then I returned my attention to the unicorn who enjoyed being petted and she caught a glimpse of me.
"She's so silent...," I said looking at her.
The unicorn shook her head to signal I correct on something.
"...wait a sec.," I said thinking. "OH!," I said looking at the unicorn. "Silent... Bloom, right?," I said, grinning.
The ecstatic unicorn shared a smile along with mines.
After a while I was petting both of them, they agreed that this new happy sensation was something they couldn't resist. Later, Sunshine and Silent led me out of Rarity's Canterlot bedroom and down the castle's stairs.
"Wow... this place is HUUUUUUGE on the inside!,"I said as I heard echoes come from my voice.
"Down the stairs I spotted several figures, and then I looked even closer. " Is that... Mia, Marble, Twilight and ," I was paused by Marble's "hug attack". "Gaaah!," I said as I was once again thrown down on the floor.
"Ooh I'm so glad you're alright, Alex, I'm sorry if we hurt you!," Marble said as she kept apologizing.
"Well... you could take it just a bit easy on those tackling hugs of yours haha...," I said, trying to get up off the floor.
"Ah Alex, I'm glad to see you were awake, I was actually looking for you!," Twilight said trotting towards me.
"Huh, what for?," I asked.
Twilight waved her hoof at me to tell me to come closer, then she started whispering something to me.
"Uh huh...uh huh... aaaaah!," I said as I nodded in agreement.
Mia and Marble looked at me in confusion.
"I'll be going with Twilight for a short while so mind if you girls go out to see around Canterlot?," I said with pleading eyes.
"Well, okay!~," Mia replied.
"Alright, back to my boutique!," Marble said as she dashed out the front castle gates.
"Thanks again in advance for your participation, Alex.," Twilight nodded in agreements so we dashed outside to begin our experiment.
the moment we left the hall I heard a sound following us.
"Hmm... must me my imagination!," I said returning to go and follow Twilight.
Chapter 16: Transformation Trauma
View Online
So the girls, Spike, Mia, and I finally reached Canterlot and a lot has already happened and that only made matters worse in the beginning because of a small set back over Rarity's fashionista friend, though... she wasn't as energetic as I had expected! After all of the nonsense was resolved, I got comfortable with Celestia's castle and after my recovery I was asked a favor from Twilight about something important.
________________ ~*~ ________________
Twilight and I walked and had found a secluded spot right in the Canterlot Gardens, I wondered what exactly did she needed me for.
"Ah, this is an excellent spot!," She said pulling out the book she was reading on board the train we rode to get to Canterlot.
"Wait...excellent for what?," I asked staring at Twilight.
Twilight returned her focus towards me and raised up the book to me with her magic. "Well Spike went along with Pinkie Pie for a pie eating contest in the library.,"
I looked at her with a confused expression. "Why are they having a pie eating contest... in the..?,"
"That's what I was thinking, it'll be messy by the time I get back... but let's not worry about it.," She said, facehooving herself. "Anyways, this gives us time so...can we do "it"?," Twilight said with nervousness.
"W-what?," I said with a blunt face.
"Ooooooookay, this is a bit sudden...,"
"What's wrong Alex, you don't... want to do "it"?," Twilight started to give a disappointed facial expression.
"TWILIGHT!," I said with a stern face, still blushing.
She was shook a bit and listened to what I had to say.
I gave a fake cough before speaking. "I am a human... you are a unicorn, we just won't work out, especially ,"
"What are you talking about, I'm saying if you wanted to test out the transformation spell, Alex!," Twilight said, laughing .
I looked at her, dumbfounded, then refreshed my anguish into a smile. "Oh...oh, right, haha! The transformation spell, I knew that!," I said shifting my eyes away from Twilight.
She looked at me weirdly then asked. "what did you think I meant..?," She stared at me intensely.
I couldn't find the courage to reply back so I turned the question around. "What do you think I meant?," I said, slightly arrogant in my twist of words.
She glared at me with a little anger in her eyes. "Oh, um... sorry there Twilight, just got carried away.," I said, regretfully.
Twilight had returned a forgiving smile back at me. "It's alright, Alex, let's just test this spell out and hope for the best!," She implied, getting ready to conjure up the spell.
"Well, let's hope indeed!," I added.
"If I turned into something creepy, I'm gonna put the fault on you if Mia asks!,"
Twilight's horn began to glow then the wind around me started to twist counter clockwise, I felt a bit nervous.
"Okay, here it goes!," Twilight said, aiming her horn towards me.
The moment she tried casting the spell towards me, an apple from from one of the nearby trees fell and made Twilight slip and her magic went off balance. Before I knew it, the spell she as summoning was shooting everywhere around the area, hitting multiple statues.
"Oh no!," twilight said trying to regain her balance.
"Twilight, you good there!?," I said, trying to aid her.
The moment I tried to go help her, one of the beams of her magic had flung right into my chest and flew me back quite a bit.
"I was hit!," I said as I was temporarily knocked out from the blast.
It was until then I realized that my eyes were closed and all I could hear was the sound of someone calling out to me.
*****
I opened my eyes a little, trying to recover from the blast.
"Alex, are you hurt..?," Twilight asked with a hint of embarrassment on her face.
"Ugh, yea... don't worry I've been through a lot of stuff much worse than this.," I said laughing, then I realized an odd sensation.
"Huh, I feel different somehow...," I said looking at twilight smiling at me.
"Well, that is how you're supposed to feel seeing that you're not a human right now.," Twilight chuckled.
"What are you talking about? Hold on, are you telling me that I'm...," I was was interrupted by Twilight nodding her head.
I lifted up my hands to my face, only to find out they weren't hands THEY WERE HOOVES!
"WHOA, I'M A PONY NOW!," I shouted in surprise.
Twilight laughed some more. "It seems the transformation was a total success!," She said clapping her hooves together.
I began jumping around as much possible, so that I could get the handling of walking on all fours, then I stopped and went silent for a moment.
"Hmm? What seems to be the problem, Alex?," Twilight asked with a worried expression.
"Just was wondering... where are the wings?," I asked with a blissful look.
Twilight looked at me with a very unpleasant face. ,"Huh?,"
"I kinda wanted to be a pegasus, you know,because of the flying and stuff!," I sad giving a large smile.
"Um... I don't know about changing the type of pony you are the book explained that the creature I cast the spell on would be based on chance of desire so...," Twilight gave a tiresome look as she was talking.
"Twilight, are you feeling okay?," I asked, lifting my hoof up to support Twilight from falling on the ground.
"Y-yes, I'm fine... it's just that spell did take a lot of energy.," Twilight stated as instantly passed out, asleep.
"Oh no! Twilight, Twilight!," I said, slightly poking her to make sure she was completely asleep.
"Way to be the guinea pig, Alex, way to go...,"
I picked up Twilight on my back. "It may be hard to walk on all fours, but I'm sure I'll do it well enough to get Twilight somewhere to sleep!," I said to myself as I started to pace out of the gardens, but then I heard a noise come from behind one of the trees.
"Ooooh.," Said a mysterious moan.
"Strange, so this place have moaning trees, feels like some "Wonderland".," I said with a small grin.
The moaning became more visible as I tracked the sound to a tree close to a carrot patch.
"Sounds like the noise is coming from her.," I said.
I slowly walked towards the tree, still carrying Twilight safely on my back, then I peeks around the tree and saw what appeared to be a tan coated mare with a pink mane lying restfully on the ground.
"Huh, what are she doing here?," I asked, trying to wake her up.
The knocked out mare snorted a little. "Yum, I'd love to have more cake Alex...what... what happened!?," The pink maned pony asked, shocked as she woke up.
"That's what I want to know,how in the world did you get through the castle guards to get in here?," I asked her.
"What are you talking about, I was with you the whole time, Alex!," She protested with a slight bit of anger.
"No way, I came with my friends and I don't even know you so... wait...," I stopped and observed the peculiar pony that was about to cry.
"That's just... mean...," She whimpered.
I flinched. "I... um.. didn't mean to make you cry...," I said, keeping Twilight steady on my back. "You didn't follow me and Twilight by any chance, did you? And who are you?," I asked with a very curious face.
"Can't you tell it's me, Mia!," The mare said with lots of enthusiasm.
"WHAT!?," I said shocked.
"Well you should know how your own friend looks like, Alex, you meanie.," Mia said pouting.
I told her to check her hands, she gave me a puzzled look on why, she did so, then got shocked and rolled down back to the ground .
"W-Wow, I have no hands!," Mia said in awe.
"Yup that's... basically it!," I said smiling.
"So that spell did work, figured I'd recognize YOU in pony form, hehehe!," Mia said giggling.
"How so?," I asked.
Mia trotted towards me and put her hoof up to my muzzle. "Mmm...just pony intuition!," She playfully replied.
I wasn't sure what it meant, but then a thought crossed my mind. "Hold on, so does that mean that sound back in the hall was you?," I asked with a very displeased face look.
"Well...," Mia said, obviously trying to stall.
"Mia!," I implied, catching her attention.
"Hey, what happened to Twilight!?," She asked hesitantly.
"She's clearly changed the subject...,"
I sighed and looked at the sleeping Twilight. "She collapsed after using all that magic she shot everywhere...I just hope she's alright.,"
Mia looked at Twilight with a worried expression. "Me too...,"
Twilight began to groan a little as she awoke and found herself carried upon my back "What happened...," She said, with a tiny headache.
I informed her about her magic also hitting Mia and my finding her a place to rest.
"That's surprising! So the spell worked on Mia too?," Twilight asked. She raised her hoof up in triumph. "It was a complete success!,"
"Yea, way to go and all, but how long does this spell stay in affect anyways?," I asked, scanning over one of my hooves.
Twilight levitated the book she held from her bag and started reading it. "It says... that the spell will last 3 days until it wears off on the user.," She stated.
"3 days, that seems about right, well them Mia we ,"I turned to find Mia missing. "Huh, where'd Mia go!?," I said panicking, then fell down unexpectedly. "Okay, this walking on all fours thing isn't easy...," I said pouting.
Twilight laughed. "If you need any tutorials just ask, ALex.," She insisted.
I smiled as I nodded at her offer. "That'd be nice...,"
*****
After the teachings of Twilight, I felt as if I've learned to walk and trot enough to get me through these 3 days and I went to go place her in Rarity's old room in Celestia's castle. Twilight decided that I should go out and explore Canterlot while she recovers her strength and so I did just that.
Short Bio
Sunshine and Silent Bloom are cliched twin twin ponies who I made just to add a little variety into the mix of both my fan fiction and my "Originals" MLP party. These two are more different then they are alike! Sunshine Bloom is an active pony who enjoys chatting with just about any pony or creature and is a great person to come for when you need help. Silent Bloom is a shy pony who almost never speaks and usually keeps her hoof up to her mouth, unaware to approach anypony she does or doesn't know. What makes these two pony so unique are the fact that they NEVER EVER leave each other's side, kinda of like bound to each other...nopony really knows why?
Dislikes: People pretending to be who they're not, arrogance, ponies bullying others
Occupation: Wonderbolt Trainee
Short Bio
"Aero" Blaze, my first signature Wonderbolt-to-be pegasus who was my original "ponysona" (pony persona lolz) because of how quick he moves, thinks, and how awesome I wanted to make him look! As I said, Blaze is a Wonderbolt trainee, he's in Cloudsdale everyday perfecting his flying skills hoping to be a full certified Wonderbolt like Dash. He is a level-headed, non-show offy stallion who does what he can to prove he's the best flyer in line to become a high flying Wonderbolt. Name:Bliss MellowHeart
Sex: Female (Mare)
Race/ Species: Pegasus
Likes: Animals, meeting different kinds of animals, quiet places, sitting on clouds
Dislikes: Rudeness
Occupation: Animal Preserver/ Caretaker
Short Bio
Bliss MellowHeart was a "happy accident" pony. As I was figuring what my next original pony would be, I had pokemon playing beside me and watching MLP with Fluttershy on the TV screen...so I took the name of my Togekiss and Fluttershy's innocent and caring nature and put them together! Enough about that for now, Bliss is an animal caretaker who runs a small ...well...animal preservation "company" located in Ponyville. This "company" has been running for only a few weeks and she's made it her duty to look out for the animals of the Everfree Forest and in Ponyville overall! Unlike Fluttershy, she can talk to to anypony...if they don't scare her or creep her out.
Name: Lilith Vale
Sex: Female (Mare)
Race/Species: Earth pony
Likes: Rocks (like Maud Pie!), Being left alone, spreading her bad luck sometimes, carrot cake, tragic stories
Dislikes: Ponies getting on her nerves, being in tight places around a lot of ponies
Occupation: [in Planning]
Short Bio
Lilith Vale is a pony I had associated with Pinkie Pie's "Pinkamena" image, but made her a walking Gothic bad luck charm. Lilith's special talent is... well, self-explanatory...80% of the time she's around an area... bad luck occurs to either her or ponies surround her. Lilith hardly smiles, let alone shows signs of happiness, but there are some times when this gloomy pony can laugh every once in a while. One good side to Lilith's bad luck is that whenever Windra is around... she feels at easy and her bad luck stops for that time. Lilith's pen-pals with Maud,Pinkie's older sister, both share a strange passion for rocks.
Name: "Maria" Marble
Sex: Female (Mare)
Race/Species: Unicorn
Likes: Shiny objects, knowing about humans, creating new jewelry combinations
Dislikes: ______
Occupation: Jewelry Crafter and Fashion Designer
Short Bio
Maria Marble is a friend of Rarity. She lives in Canterlot in a shimmering boutique that specializes in clothes designing and crafting jewelry. She's one of the wierd ponies I've ever created because she acts civilized when dealing with her work, but outside of work, she's almost as care-free and goofy as Pinkie Pie! Another strange thing is...that she's fascinated by humans when she comes in contact with one. Aside from her bipolar personality and crazy obsessions, she's not a bad pony to be around with!
Name: Windra LittleBreeze
Sex: Female (Filly)
Race/Species: Pegasus (In colored picture, I will make her wings visible!)
Likes: Mostly sleeping...
Dislikes: Not sleeping
Occupation: None
Short Bio
Windra LittleBreeze is a pegasus filly who's sole purpose is for one thing...random sleeping disorder! That's....what I would say if it wasn't what her special talent is, which is sleep flying! Windra attends Miss Cheerilee's class along with CMC, Diamond Tiara, and other various fillies. Although she can't help it, she mostly sleeps throughout the entire day without realizing what's going on around her, it's quite amazing! There are two thinks that will wake her up and that's Blaze (because she has a "crush" on him) and Lilith's bad luck happenings (reasons unknown).
Natilla is a pony who does what she can to help other ponies out whether it's volunteering, finding somepony else, looking for missing animals, or even solving mysteries if needed. She also has an interests in poetry and often times likes reading others' work or try her hardest to create some poems herself. Either way you look at her, Natilla's a very upstanding Ponyville filly... although she keeps encouraging Windra to break her sleeping habits and help out in her activities.
Name: Sylvia Seerhoof or "The Psychic"
Short Bio
Silvia Seerhoof is a perfectly helpful mare who has the special talents of fortunetelling about other ponies' futures and dabbles in the arts of both Black Magic and Alchemy. She resides in a a warded area of EverFree Forest and her routine is to spend time and probably exchange potion/ remedy recipes with Zecora from time to time. This Seeress has a kinda heart regarding the fact that she's a witchdoctor, but her one hatred is that some ponies never take their futures told to them by her seriously... it only erks the "I warn you to no upset the balance of time" look from her and can no longer help that pony unless apologized to. On regards of her eyes being different colors... has yet to be known.
Name: Zemillia
Sex: Female
Race/ Species: (Vampire) Changeling
Likes:Manipulating ponies, chocolate milk, mind-controlling others
Dislikes: Ponies telling her what to do, changelings telling her what to do (excluding Chrystalis)
Occupation: Vampire..?
Short Bio
Zemillia, the vampire changeling queen (sort of like Marceline the vampire queen), takes pride in hating and despising the ponies of Equestria. She takes orders from no pony, no changeling, EXCEPT Queen Chrystalis of course. Zemillia serves as a secret weapon against pony-kind through the Hive's network and focuses on finding and retrieving information to overthrow Celestia's rule for a chance to take over Equestria again. She has an arrogant air about her all the time and loves mind-controlling most ponies, changelings, and animals to do her dirty work or other needless ordeals. Although, there are a few exceptions to when her mind-controlling doesn't work... and one of them is when "love" is present in their mind.
Name: Stargaze
Sex: Female (Mare)
Race/Species: Earth pony
Likes: Singing, adoring fans, spotlights, acting dramatic
Dislikes: Bad singing voices, singing lame songs, poor back-up dancers
Occupation: Vocal pony pop-star
Short Bio
The one and only pony vocal pop star, Lela "Stargaze", is a traveling celebrity who's music can touch the hearts of ponies and bring everyone into cheerful spirits! I know what most bronies would think, "How does a pony have access to technology to give her the assets needed to an average pop star in Equestria?". The answer is Rezz, Rez Pixelletto. Thanks to Rezz's extensive researching and tech professionalism, Stargaze can perform thrilling stage entrances and dynamic dance moves with special effects only he could muster. Lela is a pretty fun girl, but she's often a victim to ponies who doesn't have the same talent as her... meaning she hates bad singing. Aside from her gallant, yet arrogant popstar persona, she's a really cool mare to party and ROCK OUT with!
The Ursa Minor Escape
Chapter 17: Trixie's Showstopping Performance
View Online
I took Twilight's advice and went venturing into the city of Canterlot to find out what sights it had for tourist for me. Mia, one the other hand, has already left on her own as I figured. When I've looked around the city enough, I had promised to go help Fluttershy with Canterlot Gardens.
__________________~*~__________________
"Even with training... I still feel like a baby trying to take his first steps....," I said sighing and giving a distinct laugh.
I was leaving Canterlot Castle's vicinity, still attempting to walk perfectly straight seeing as I'm a pony for the newt 3 days.
"It still would've been cool to be a pegasus."
I began to daydream of the thought.
"Now with wings, that I could handle because of the "woosh" and the "woohoo" and the "yeeeeeah!," I said reenacting my visions of being a pegasus, as I was laughing I spotted several royals looking at me in a very disturbed manner.
I smiled with a sweat-filled face, "Ahaha... I'd... better go...," I said, trotting off the awkward scene.
*****
Minutes had passed as I began exploring Canterlot, it was truly a destination for luxurious ponies and fit for a princess's quarters. There were many jewelry stored, antique collecting shops, Equestrian history museums, and ponies' homes that were practically made of gold and diamonds. I was astonished at the sites of the shimmering town.
"Wow, not even El Dorado could compare to this place.," I said laughing and sitting on one of the nearby benches surrounding a well chiseled fountains.
I scoped out the rest of the scenery,but then found a stagecoach blocking my angle.
"Hold on...what's that?," I said squinting my eyes at the out-of-place object. "A stagecoach? That's the second one I've seen here...," I stated I observed the stagecoach a second time and gasped. "That IS the same one from before, then if that's so...that means...," I said getting up off the bench and trotting to the herd of ponies gathered in front of the stagecoach.
"Watch in awe, ponies, for my next act I shall give you the best fireworks display by simply using my amazing magic!," Said a voice on stage as I found my way into the crowd.
Upon my entrance I saw the stunning mare once more, it was none other than Trixie!
"I should've figured Trixie didn't leave town completely.," I said with a somewhat pleasant face.
Trixie began to stand her ground and began to use her horn to give the crowd a fantastic fireworks display.
"Maybe she finally overcame that problem of hers with her last show!," I said smiling and focusing on her.
As Trixie finally gathered up her magic for her fireworks she let it loose, though, not in the way she had expected. The magic Trixie released went zipping across the area hitting the houses and busts positioned around.
I panicked along with the crowd. "Oh boy, this can't be good!," I said dodging the beams of light as best I could.
The streams of magic continued to bounce around until they all came hurling to it's starting point, meaning Trixie.
"Uh oh.," Trixie said in a small voice.
The magic clashed into Trixie, creating a beautiful yet painful display of fireworks with the mixed screams of Trixie as well. After the short scenario was over, Trixie stood on the stage with a burnt cloak and hat, then she coughed. The crowd of royals stared at her with awe.
"Tada..?," Trixie said, smiling with an unsure smile.
All of the royals laughed at the are's folly, a few had displeased faces, and they began to leave the mare's sight as a whole.
Trixie's smile slowly disappeared and it slowly turned into a frown.
"Well, as least you gave them fireworks."
I looked at Trixie with a worried expression and caught a glimpse of a few tears from her eyes, yet she was enraged.
"Is she crying?," I asked myself, staring at her.
"W-WHO CARES ABOUT YOU ALL, TRIXIE SHOULD BE THANKS FOR SHOWING ALL OF YOU DISRESPECTFUL PONIES SOMETHING ," Trixie stopped in the middle of her ranting and her tears became more noticeable. "Something.... so amazing...," She mumbled as she dropped her head and walked hopelessly behind the curtains of her stage still in tears.
My ears perked up, and I held my hoof up to get her attention. "Ah, Wait, Trixie ," I said hesitantly.
The stage transformed back into a stagecoach, now unable to hear Trixie at all.
I put my hoof down and frowned. "I still liked the awesome colors.," I said, leaving the area.
*****
I stayed sitting on the bench in front of the fountain again, hoping that Trixie was still okay.
"That must've been hard for her, and with a mare's ego as big as hers... I can't imagine the pain she's feeling right now.," I said laying on the bench looking into the evening sky. "I mean besides being blasted by magical fireworks.,"
I hopped of the bench and decided to go check on Trixie. "You'd think a pony with her type of attitude wouldn't be affected by something like that.," I said, approaching the stagecoach and started knocked.
Minutes passed and there was no response from inside.
"That's odd...," I wondered as I put my ear on the door, I heard a faint voice that was quite possibly the sound of Trixie yelling. "Hmm... well, I've got to get her attention somehow.," I said sighing and moving far away from the stagecoach 's door. I took a deep breathe and trotted quickly towards it, bracing my impact.
"Oof!," I reacted, slamming into the stagecoach with full force.
The stagecoach finished rocking and the door opened.
"WHO DARES DISTURB THE GREAT AND POWERFUL TRIXIE!?," Trixie bellowed, then looked on the ground and saw me slightly unconscious. "What are you doing?," She asked me in a sassy tone.
I wobbled on my hooves as I tried to stand up. "Ouch! That would've usually knocked me out...," I smiled. "I guess a pony's body is sturdy!,"
Trixie stared at me with a stern look as I was admiring my new endurance.
"Uh, right! Trixie are you okay?," I asked.
Trixie's face turned content for a second, then it returned to frustration. "Trixie's fine, what pony like you cares about a brilliant mare such as me?," She asked.
I looked at the blue mare with a confused look.
"I guess she can't recognize me, this could give me a chance for redeeming our last encounter!"
I shook my head. "Well, after that performance, you ,"
Trixie flinched a little. "You saw that!?," She reacted in surprise.
I nodded.
Trixie glared at me intensely "Are you here to MOCK Trixie?" She asked.
I waved my hoof out of disagreement. "No, no, no of course not! I wanted to praise you!," I said with a smile.
Trixie's anger slowly disappeared. "Come again?," She said.
"Yeah, I mean those fireworks you did were amazing...though... they didn't show off the way you had hoped, huh?," I admitted.
"Ugh, you're just like that annoying human, it wasn't on purpo wait, what?," Trixie stopped mid sentence.
I nodded again. "Mhm, your fireworks didn't show off the way you wanted, right?," I asked.
Trixie showed a little guilt in response. "Um... you could say that...," She shook her head. "B-but so what, why mention such an obvious setback to Trixie!?," She asked in a feisty tone.
I put my hoof up to my mouth, thinking, then had an idea. "How about I help you with your next performance?," I asked.
Trixie's face lit up in surprise and she couldn't quite come up with the right words for my offer. "You...you would help me?," She asked with a small blush.
"You bet, I'm sure we'll make up a performance that'll really show those royal ponies what you could really do!," I said, raising my hoof in the air.
Trixie smirked. "You're right, we'll show them!," She responded.
We both high-hoofed each other, then Trixie noticed her actions.
"Um...r-right, just don't get in Trixie's way....o-okay? She demanded in a less noisy way.
"Aye aye!," I replied, saluting.
Trixie smiled a bit, but didn't show it.
*****
Trixie and I decided to work on the performance at night because there wouldn't be any ponies around to see her mess up as she admitted, though that's kind of the point of practicing. Trixie decided not to wear her cape and hat so they wouldn't get marks or anything that could damage it's fabric.
We stood on opposite ends of the fountain in the town square, Trixie looked all around for any signs for ponies.
"Seems we we have this place to ourselves tonight...," I said looking at the somewhat nervous Trixie.
"Wow, what is this, some date? That didn't come out right..."
Trixie looked at me and nodded. "Yes, and this should give us enough time to work on my next performance!," She said.
I clapped my two front hooves together. "Awesome, so what did you have in mind?," I asked curiously.
Trixie smiled. "Trixie thinks of doing an Equestrian fire dance!," She replied.
I was shocked and confused. "An Equestrian fire dance?," I asked.
Trixie's face became puzzled. "You're not familiar with the fire dance, hmph, so unprofessional.~," She said in a mocking tone.
I pouted at the comment and asked again.
"Well it'd be best to just show you!," She insisted.
Trixie went into a readying pose and magically made two twirling batons appear in each of her hooves then began to spin them. As the batons spun, she used her horn to cast a fire on the top parts of the batons, she was then performing a perfect fire dance.
I stood there, amazed. "Whoa, that's incredible!," I said.
Trixie laughed. "Of course it is, I AM the GREAT and powerful Trixe after ....," She was beginning to lose her flow in the twirling. "After....a-after...WAAAH!," She screamed as she lost the batons that were sent hurling on the nearby topiary, starting a small fire.
"Oh snap... I-I MEAN I GOT IT!," I said, rushing to splash the fountain's water on the water on the fire.
The flames dwindled and I sighed. Trixie showed signs of regret.
"Uh...haha, I do have another performance!," Trixie said.
I smiled. "Well, it can't be as dangerous as the fire dance...," I said.
"I call it... Manticore Master!," She said poofing a whip and chair in her hooves.
I stared at her with a blank expression. "A manti- what?," I asked.
"Behold!," She announced, making a lion-like animal with wings appear who roared so loud that almost the entire square's homes were lit up.
I panicked at it's sight. "TRIXIE, WHAT THE HAY HAY!," I yelled.
Trixie gave a serious smirk. "Relax, Trixie's got this covered.," She proclaimed, immediately using the whip on the vicious beast.
The manticore's anger grew as Trixie started tempting it with the waving of her chair and the snaps of the whip. The manticore roared louder and suddenly slashed the chair Trixie into pieces.
"Uh oh...," She said, staring at the beast rushing towards her.
I trotted in front of her, grabbed the whip and wrapped it around the beast's legs in an effective hog tie.
I tried to keep the knot in place, but was getting slightly wounded by the manticore's thrashing by the second.
"TRIXIE! MAKE IT DISAPPEAR, MAKE IT DISAPPEAR!," I said, restraining the manticore with all my available strength.
Trixie panicked and nodded then she used her magic to make the manticore totally disappear from sight.
I dropped to the ground on my face, with the whip over my left ear. "Good thing Applejack's hog-tying lessons came in handy...," I said panting little by little.
Some of the ponies who were awoke by the manticore's commotion came swarming out of their houses and what was going on.
"What's with all the noise!," Said an enraged pony.
"Yes, what disturbed my beauty sleep?," Said another pony.
"And mines!," Said another pony.
Trixie was overwhelmed in the situation and I quickly rose up out of my slump to support her. Every pony was horrified by my scars and bruises from fighting off the manticore.
"I...kinda fell and bumped into a lot of things because... uh...," I began looking around. ," I'M BLIND AT NIGHT!," I said, faking an act as I tripped into the fountain.
Every pony felt sorry for me and a few helped me out of the water. They came to an understanding and went along with my false explanation. Trixie sat on her flank in awe over the royals treating me fair and kindly. After the problem was solved, every pony returned to their homes and head back asleep peacefully and soundly.
I waved as their lights went out, then sighed and fell to the ground on my flank. "I can't believe that worked...I feel terrible for lying but...,"
"It was for the greater good...," Trixie finished.
I rose my head up to spot Trixie, crying with her mane covering her face. She also had a few scars from the manticore attacks.
I stared at her and rose up and trotted towards the crying blue unicorn.
She continued to shed tear by tear with each step I took. I fell back to the ground, now in front of Trixie, I lifted her face with my hoof.
Her face was completely different from how she usually appeared.
"Trixie...," I said.
Trixie sniffed and had a whimpering voice as she looked at me. "H-how...do...you...do it....being so nice to any pony....getting such kindness from others....just...just...," She asked, holding in her will to cry.
I stared at Trixie and wiped the tears from her eyes. "It's not something I try hard at, it's something I choose to do.," I replied.
Trixie's eyes began to develop small tears again. "I...I don't get it...," She said.
"Yeah, me neither...," I said sarcastically laughing. "But what I'm saying is that even you, Trixie, could earn respect like that, plus a way to make your performance a little less, you know...dangerous?," I stated.
I petted Trixie and she began smiling and tackled me to the ground with a hug.
"Oof! This... is seriously becoming a routine to me here...," I said, accepting the mare's hug.
"I'm going to try and change the way ponies look at me... and do it right!," Trixie said, smiling and still hugging me.
"Cool and I'll be with you every step of the way!," I said, holding my hoof up. "Just...as soon as you stop hugging me.," I added, laughing a little along with her.
*****
As night passed, Trixie and I began to formulate our completely new and improved performance that would surely wow her audience, it took a little getting used to it. Trixie felt so exhilarated about her new performing style and kept clinging to me out of sheer joy, but we were both still set on mastering our act.
*****
Morning arrived and we both were asleep within her stagecoach.
I yawned and awoke, listening to the ponies passing outside, I woke up Trixie, who was sleeping in her bed.
"This stagecoach is surprisingly roomy on the inside.," I commented, still trying to awake the sleeping mare.
Trixie slowly recovered from her wary state and panicked. "I-Is it morning already?," She asked, falling out of her bed and rushing to put on her hat and cape. "Do you think we can pull it off..?," She asked.
"I don't think we can, I KNOW we can!," I smiled and nodded.
Trixie blushed lightly, but nodded. "Trixie I mean...I agree!," She responded.
Ponies continued to pass the stagecoach only until then did Trixie unravel it and made the it into a stage in the blink of an eye. Everypony around was fascinated and came crowding in front.
I looked from behind the curtains and stared at the crowd.
"This must be how she gets her audience, not bad to say the least!"
Trixie was behind me, making sure her hat would keep in place.
I looked at Trixie as she got ready. "Funny...," I said.
Trixie glanced over to me. "What's funny?," She asked , puffing up her cheeks.
I chuckled a little. "To think the mare who despised me...turned into a gentle and...," I shifted my eyes. "kinda lovable pony I never knew she was.," I said, flattering the now blushing mare.
Trixie couldn't quite say the words she was looking for so she was silent for a while. "T-thanks...," She said, heading outside of the curtains.
I smiled and saw her out on the stage facing the ponies.
Trixie remained poised on the stage, scanning over her audience and cleared her voice. "Greetings one and all, I am the GREAT and POWERFUL Trixie who has graced your presence promising to bring joy to your wor ," Trixie stopped her arrogant introduction and looked at me behind the curtains.
I shook my head and she put on a sad expression and turned her focus back towards her audience.
"Actually... I'm just Trixie, the show pony who wants to give all of you ponies a great time from my performance that'll be worth enjoying...," She said, smiling . "And I mean for EVERYPONY!," She cheered as fireworks flared out at the sides of the stage.
Most of the ponies that attended yesterday's performance was present and somewhat intrigued in her change of attitude.
Trixie looks onto the audience, glaring a a particular filly with her father. "You there, little on!," She said pointing to the brown maned filly.
The filly looked around and then back at Trixie. "Who, me?," She asked in confusion.
Trixie nodded and used her magic to pull out random stairs that led up to the stage. The filly trotted up stage and stared at Trixie.
"What's your name?," Trixie asked.
"It's Natilla Velvet, ma'am!," She replied.
Trixie nodded and covered her left hoof with her cape. "Natilla, would you like to help me with my performance?," She asked, instantly making a bottle of blowing bubbles appear.
"Sure! But why do you have bubbles?," Natilla asked putting a hoof up to her mouth out of shy curiosity.
Trixie laughed. "They're for you of course!," She replied, giving the bottle to Natilla.
"Really!? Thanks!," Natilla said, who started blowing bubbles eagerly.
The audience's ponies laughed a little at the scenario.
I stood by behind the curtains watching the act progress and smiled.
"This isn't how we planned. but so far it's going great!"
The filly continued to blow countless bubbles into the air, then Trixie confirmed that she had blown enough bubbles, and so the filly stopped. Trixie instructed the crowd to pay close attention on the bubbles. She began to use her magic to develop small shimmers of light within and around the bubbles. The lights kept changing color, giving it a crystal ball-like effect to them all. The crowd responded with "oohs" and "aahs". Trixie enjoyed the audience's reaction and returned her attention back to the excited filly.
"Just watch this!~," Trixie said.
With her horn now aglow, Trixie began using her magic to alter the bubbles' movement and started creating shapes like a sun, a smiley face, a moon, and a star. The images were amazing and stunning, I couldn't keep my eyes off of them.
I shook my head and started to slowly walk out towards the stage. "Well, time to hit the stage!," I said under my breathe.
As the crowd enjoyed the creations, I appeared on stage and took a bow. "Hope you're all enjoying the show Trixie had put on so far!," I said, praising Trixie's efforts.
Natilla gasped in surprise as she looked at me. "YOU'RE THE BLIND NIGHT PONY!," She squealed.
The audience recognized me as well and muttered then start calling me the "blind night pony".
I gave a deadpan, but happy expression.
"Well...not the best first impression, but what can you do?"
Trixie laughed with the crowd and used her magic to levitate the bubbles beneath me and they slowly lifted me into the air.
"Whoa!," Natilla said, looking at me as I rose.
the crowd was concerned about what was going on because they knew I couldn't fly. Trixie then positioned all the bubbles into a random line that led to one bubble to the next. I bowed once more and started jumping from one bubble to the next in an acrobatic -like fashion.
"This pony body's much agile than my normal body, I'm kinda jealous..."
As I jumped from one bubble to the other, they popped and created colorful sparkles raining down on the audience. I looked down about the whole time as I was moving, but then I reached the last bubble and tried to keep my balance on it. Everypony tried to encourage me on standing still, then I continued wobbling. The bubble ended up popping.
"Great..." I said, standing in air for a second or two until I started falling down.
All of the royals began panicking and Natilla closed her eyes.
"This wasn't...PLANNED!," I said, getting closer to the ground.
Trixie was frightened, but didn't show it. She thought then smiled. "A good performer ALWAYS improvises!," She said close to the filly.
Trixie asked Natilla to give her the bubbles, which she did. She quickly blew a huge bubble that she used her magic to float it under me to cushion my fall. The bubble hit the ground with me on it, then bounced right back up into the air. The audience cheered for my safety and was impressed as they had thought it was part of the performance. I looked at Trixie from the air and winked at her.
"Way to improvise, Trix!"
I jumped off the huge bubble in the air and made it to the stage thanks to Trixie's levitation. "Awesome save, Trixie!," I said, smiling.
Trixie smiled back and looked at the bubble in the sky, expanded it and made it hurl towards the audience. The royals ll felt scared, but it harmlessly picked the entire them up. Most of the ponies began jumping around and having fun as a few were a bit embarrassed about breaking out of character. Soon, everypony loved playing in the bubbly bounce house. Natilla tarted jumping up and down , eager to join in on the fun. Trixie blew a bubble to hold me, her, and the little filly. We flew together to the huge bubble, which fused with the one we were in, and then joined in the play.
Minutes of endless cheer and laughter filled the skies and passing royals were mesmerized by the overall display. Trixie jumped along with everypony and I noticed a few tars (possibly of joy) coming from the blue mare's face.
"I think it's safe to say she's opened up more!"
Trixie used her magic to placed the bubble towards the ground and popped it carefully grounding everypony. All of the royals couldn't stop cheering for her. Trixie smiled at the crowd and suddenly poked by a hoof from below. Natilla stood staring at Trixie with adoring eyes.
"Thanks for all the fun, kind and wonderful Trixie!," She said.
"It's actually GREAT AND POWER ," Trixie thought for a moment and shook her head. "Okay....kind and wonderful is fine!," Trixie replied.
The filly hugged Trixie and I headed back behind the curtains on the stage. I turned around to find Trixie holding the tip of my tail.
I smirked. "Something wrong oh kind and wonderful Trixie?," I asked humorously.
Trixie blushed at the new title and looked at me. "I just couldn't have done this without you...um...," She paused for a moment. "Funny...," She said, giggling.
"W-what's so funny?," I asked, sensing an odd case of déjà vu.
"We've made our own performance and all and ... I still never got your name.," She said with a hint of glimmer in her eyes.
I stared at her, unable to reply.
"... I totally forgot to tell her didn't I?"
I cleared my throat and proceeded to answer. "Well, the thing is that I'm ,"
There was a sudden roar of voices out chanting "Great and Powerful Trixie!".
I looked behind Trixie, then back at her. "I thought it was kind and wonderful now?," I asked.
Trixie smiled and blushed. "It... just doesn't sound as catchy, but I may change it.," She admitted.
"Well, you are greatly kind and wonderfully powerful!," I responded.
Trixie laughed at my comment. "That's so cheesy!," She replied mockingly. She stared outside. "I suppose I'd better go, now I have a purpose in performing again .," She said.
I nodded. "Seems like it, I wish you luck Trixie, and you're one talented pony, that's for sure!," I said, walking towards the back exit of the stage.
Trixie hesitate. "Whoa, wait! You didn't give me your name!," She implied.
I turned back around. "In due time, in due time...," I said, turning back around and leaving the area.
Trixie sighed and shook her head. "How melodramatic can a pony get...," She said, slightly blushing and returning to her fans.
*****
I walked back to the fountain, seeing how well Trixie was doing from afar.
"Well, looks like my work here s done!," I said, frowning. "Darn it, this would've been more "complete" if I had some slick shades...," I said facehooving an walking away from the area.
