All was silent in a what used to be a play ground all that's left is pile's of junk along the rest of the small town there used to be house's here and there and lots of people outside... that was... until the war started it was man verses machine the war raged on for thousands of years and is still going on now what broke the silence was the sound of a truck and after a few seconds the truck came in sight it halted by the broken up play ground and a machine stepped out of the driver seat it was six feet tall and for its head it had red demonic eye's and had three small slit's for a mouth with a speaker behind it so it can talk and had silver armor that covered the rest of his body and was carrying a chain gun then another almost like him but had pure blue eyes that changed colors depending on his mood and was also five feet, five inches tall and had black armor on carrying what looked like a m16 and walked to the side of the silver machine
"What do we have to do this time commander" the black machine said in a voice sort of like sound wave
"Blade I told you it's alright to call me ace" the tall silver machine said
"Oh... okay ace uh what do we do" blade said a little nervously
"We have to scan the area to make sure no rebels are here" ace said a little annoyed and began walking towards around the old play ground
"Oh and uh ace why does there have to be a war between us and the humans?" blade asked a little sad and when ace didn't answer he tried talking to him again. "Uh ace... why does there have to be a war between man and machine?"
Ace turned around and if he had eyes to roll I bet he would've "because... all the humans do is treat us like trash and... and call us names and stuff like that." ace turned back to his patrol.
"Oh what started the war in the first place?" blade asked but noticed ace was standing dead in his track's and was staring into a forest nearby "uh ace are you alright?" there was no answer from ace all he did was stand there and blade didn't like the way he just stood there so he approached ace "ace?" as he got a look at his eye's shocked him the red glowing light for his eyes were gone ace was dead and there was nothing he could do about it blade's eye color changed to a dead white and blade started firing at random places while he was backing up as he got to the truck he got in and started it up and drove away he took corners he crashed through walls all he was is a rookie so there was no way he could take on a bunch of humans as he got to the base he quickly entered ran through a set of halls and corners until he got to the throne room he burst into the room in a panic "ace.., play ground... dead... humans..." blade sputtered
"Alright calm down take a few minutes to get you're cool" a tall red armored machine said
blade sat down in a chair nearby and once he was ready to talk and his eye's turn green meaning he was normal he started "alright me and ace got to a play ground or what was left of it and we started to check the area until ace stopped dead in his tracks and as I got closer I saw he was dead and I started to panic and drove here" blade said still panicking a bit
The tall red machine looked at him like 'what did you say' expression and finally regained his senses “uh huh I'll send an assault team there to take out the humans" the red machine motioned to a pack of machines that looked ready for anything to get moving
Blade watched them leave "why do we have fight the humans?"
The tall red machine just looked at him then finally said "we have to" then he turned his attention to a couple of minor's with a gift for him so blade left.

blade was in the library looking through books rapidly "come on the great war the great war the great war aha!" blade exclaimed drawing some attention blade quickly jogged up to a table and started to read the book he had "the great war has lasted for over fourteen thousand years and it all started because the leader our kind got angry at the humans for treating them like their own personal slaves and started the great war" there was an awkward silence until blade said "our kind started a war?!.... Whatever happened to protect and serve?!I'm going to have a talk with the leader about this" blade said while his eyes turned a pure red meaning he was really angry so he put the book back rushed out of the library and into the throne room "we have to talk" blade said angrily
The tall red machine motioned a couple guards to take him away and said "later now beat it"
"NO THIS ENDS HERE!" blade yelled throwing the guards across the room "I will not fight for this stupid war and you can't just let a war go on just because over a mistake the humans made"
The red machine walked over to blade and hit him "that is not the way to talk to a superior"
Blade's eye's turned redder Then he said "I can talk to you anyway I like I would rather be deported then fight for you"
the red machine hit him again then said "then you will be sent to the past on another world and live there for now on!" then he pointed his finger at him then a bright light covered blade the it vanished taking him with it.

(meanwhile in the past in equestria)
twilight trotted to her porch and approached her telescope and soon spike appeared beside her "isn't it wonderful spike watching the stars" twilight asked while looking in her telescope
"Yeah I guess *yawn* look I'm going to bed good night twi" spike said groggily then headed for his bed he got in curled up in his blanket and almost instantly he fell asleep
twilight giggled a bit at spike until a bright flash coming from downstairs and then the house shook and got her attention and woke spike up "what was that?!" twilight said panicking a bit then she headed where the light came from and she gasped at what she saw it was metal and it looked like it was burning hot so she kept some distance from it and called for spike "spike could you come here for a minute"
"Sure twi what do you ne- whoa! what is that" spike said pointing a finger to the metal creature
"I don't know spike but I need you to write a letter to the princess telling her what just happened okay" twilight said while trying to examine the creature
"Okay twilight I'll be back" spike said while running to get a quill and ink.
"What are you" twilight said but then gasped when she saw it's eye's open the creature looked at her
"Help me" it sputtered then shut down.
Blade woke up in a hospital bed and looked around and saw different ponies in other beds beside him then he heard "what is it luna" a voice said on the other side of the door
"I don't know twilight sparkle it is something we have never seen before" another voice said in a voice of a ruler
"Well shoot... ah know that thing in there ain't no pony so if you two don't know what it is then who does" a third female farmer voice said.
"Well um we could just ask it when it wakes up i mean if you want to" a fourth shy voice said
"Or we could just leave it alone if that thing is dangerous then I don't want you guys getting hurt" a fifth ruler like voice said
"Yeah I don't want my friends getting hurt cause of some metal creature" a sixth sportsman female voice said
"I don't know it did ask for help when twilight found it down stairs instead of attacking her" a seventh elegant voice said
"Yeah if it wanted to kill us it would have done it by now" another cheerful voice said while it giggled
"Well it could have asked for help then kill us while we trust it" the sportsman voice said
"Come on dashie I don't think it wants to hurt us"
The sportsman voice sighed in defeat then said "fine let’s go in and ask it why it's here"
"no me and luna will go in it still might be hostile I can't afford to lose the thing that might be the only thing that can defeat it-" blade tuned the rulers voice out
blade got up mumbling something about the rulers mother then checked to see if everything was working properly then headed to the door not making a sound then said "I'm not hostile" blade heard some gasps coming from the other side of the door just after hearing "guards" in a loud voice ruler voice so blade backed up and heard thudding coming on the other side of the door then blade's eye's were grey meaning he was confused 'I just said I was not hostile what is up with this' the door broke down showing a bunch of ponies with some armor and spears in their mouths so blade's eye's went green "what is this pathetic excuse for a combat unit"
"Get to the ground now" one of the armored ponies said in a commanding voice
blade's eye's turned yellow meaning he was happy while he laughed when he stopped laughing his eyes turned green again then he said "i'm thinking... no" the armored ponies looked mad and charged for blade but their attempt failed because they got flung halfway across the building while they were clear blade saw eight other ponies one cyan blue with rainbow colored hair, a white one with purple colored hair, a terrified yellow one with pink hair, a totally pink one even her hair was pink with tangles and knots that just smiled at you, a tall white one with sparkling hair with a crown and chest piece on, a black one with dark blue sparkling hair, a purple one with dark purple hair with a pink highlight, and a orange one with blonde hair "what in the name of machine kind is this crap" they gasped at the remark
“Listen here metal daemon we are princess luna ruler of equestria and that is not a way to talk to royalty" the dark pony said
"Oh yeah well I'm the king of England" blade said sarcastically
The purple pony furrowed her eye 0brows "don't talk to luna that way"
“I take it you're the brave one moron of the group" blade deadpanned only getting more gasps
the tall white pony looked really mad "listen here you may be able to talk to royalty back where you came from but that is not how we do it here so behave"
"Okay mom whatever you say oh and by the way buck you" blade said walking away
"Hey you can't jus' insult us and expect to get away with it" the orange pony said angrily
"oh yeah well I just did so sit down and shut up I got to get back home and beat the crap out of my leader, stuff him in a box, and give him to his mom for hearths warming eve" he got more gasps until the cyan pony tackled blade
Blade was trotting down the street taking in his surroundings ponies was outside walking to different places some even trying to get costumers for their business stands blade finally got to twilights library as he enter he put a hoof to his mouth trying to suppress his giggles cause bookcases were flung everywhere along with the books flung everywhere some were on the loft and some were in the kitchen but most were scattered along the room “well it looks like a tornado hit here” blade said chuckling a bit
“Well you should get going and fix up my library cause it’s getting late” twilight said a little concerned
“I don’t need sleep if that is what you’re inquiring” blade said his usual monotone voice
“Wait you don’t need sleep all organisms needs sleep” twilight said a little confused
“I am not an organism… I am a machine not a mortal I do not require sleep but you mortals do.” Blade explained
Twilight looked at him with an even more confused look “what do you mean you are just a machine if you were a machine you would not feel fear or happiness as you said down to the hospital you’re eye’s would be white if you’re scared but how can you be scared if you’re just a machine?” twilight asked not believing a single word blade said
“I am an advanced species I feel fear because I am alive I feel fear, happiness, confusion… but the others… they say they have a heart but I think they don’t they kill other beings cause of a war that never should have happened… well I should get working on the room when twilight left blade got to work

Morning came slowly blade had just finished putting the books away luckily they were all organized blade thought he should do something to thank twilight for letting him stay with her so he got out a book on cooking he spent hours reading the book when he was done reading it was seven a clock so he got in the kitchen and tried to make something simple… pancakes he tried three time in a row only getting the same result… burnt pancakes when he tried a fourth time he got them right he put the two plate’s on the table and headed to the window and stared outside until he noticed twilight bursting out in a panic “where’s the fire!” twilight exclaimed
Blade chuckled to himself until he approached twilight “there is no fire what you smell is my attempt on pancakes” he said snickering a bit then he showed her what looked like burnt food
Twilight had an expression of annoyance on her face “you tried to cook… wow what smells good” twilight said sniffing the air
“My fourth attempt on pancakes” he said a little proud of himself then he guided her to the pancakes on the table once they were in the kitchen twilight saw the pancakes and dug in ‘wow she must’ve been hungry’ blade thought t himself when twilight was done blade put on a smile “did it taste good” he said as he picked up the plate and put it in the sink twilight only nodded and after a little while spike came stumbling in
“Hey twilight… WHOA who’s the new guy?” spike said shocked
“I am here to repair the floor” blade explained while he went into the room where the floor was destroyed “speaking of which I better get going” he said as he got to work

When blade was done it was eleven a clock blade decided he should shut down for awhile so he went into a closet and shut down but he made sure he left a note saying he shut down for awhile and as blade came online he opened the door and what he saw put him in shock he room was a mess again and as blade went in the kitchen he noticed it also was a mess drawers were flung everywhere forks, spoons, knives littered the floor the blades eye’s turned white blade ran upstairs trying to avoid the mess and stopped by twilights room he tried the door… locked so blade ripped the door off its hinges and threw the door somewhere and ran in her room was also a mess and twilight bed was torn apart and with spikes basket and her stuff was all over the floor blade searched twilights room for twilight but his search failed so blade ran around looking for twilight and that also failed al he found was a note… wait note?! Blade picked up the note it read.
‘If you ever want to see you’re precious twilight again you will go to the town square and reveal yourself and put a hundred bits on the ground or I will kill her.

Who in the world is he… or she… anyway I should go to the town square see this punk who thinks he can kidnap twilight wait I think she has spike too unless he’s somewhere else anyway I got to get to the town square… wait… what’s that?” he said as he noticed a piece of metal under a piece of wood as he got close he saw two things one looked like a crystal but metal and the other was all too familiar “my gun!” blade exclaimed as he shape shifted into his normal self then he grabbed his M16 and then he grabbed the crystal and put it in a compartment in his side
“Now it’s time to bring the hurt” blade said as he rushed out the door as he got to town square he stopped dead in his tracks he saw a machine version of twilight standing in front of him
“You know Nolan means twi in our second language” twibot said as she came closer
“Not a step further” blade said as he held his M16 and pointed it at twibots face
Twibot chuckled a little bit “you know if you kill me you will never find out where twilight is” twibot said as if she is winning only to get tackled shoved to a wall and having a gun barrel put in her mouth
“Where is twilight” blade snarled while his eyes turned red only getting a giggle from her while she pulled out the barrel from her mouth and she did the most evil crocked smile he ever seen “you have five seconds” blade snarled this time pointing the gun to her forehead
“Relax and shut down” twibot said only getting blades eyes turning grey and before blade could react he shut down.
