My name is twilight sparkle or zeus as other know me It’s been three weeks since the outbreak happened. Everyone I knew and everyone I had trusted either betrayed me or were killed by my hooves. Queen Celestia had ordered the containment of Pony Ville as to not let the virus spread. That proved useless as some infected ponies had escaped and spread the disease through New Mane City. Soon everything went to hay. Ponies screamed as they saw family and friends’ being taken away by the Black Wing, it was the first time anypony saw violence, but they were going to have to get used to it. They were called in by Celestia to keep us all in here; their captain, Luna, was ruthless she ordered anyone that was believed to be infected to be killed on sight and they did just that, Celestia approved of all this, hay she was the one who gave Luna permission to do anything to get the job done, and I was lead to believe she cared for her subjects she just turned Equestria into a war zone. The Elements of Harmony my flank, none of that proved to help, hopeless and all out of options some of my friends joined the Black Wing betraying me, one actually created the virus another was used as an experiment for them. It was obvious what I had to do after that betrayal. Now they are all inside me, I can hear their thoughts in me; they have become part of me. I had trusted Celestia and now she marked me as a terrorist and a killer sadly I am those things. I tried to do right but failed and because of that this has happened.
I guess I should start from the top and tell you how all this came to be it’s a sad and gruesome tale that I will gladly fill you in on.
Two stallions were standing over a dead pony that was brought to the morgue three days ago. One of the stallions looked at the body and said into a mic. “August 21 2015 we are about to dissect the anonymous body it is a mare, purple haired, Unicorn cause of death is unknown, I am now going to cut open the chest”. The doctor looked at the other stallion “Hand me an 8” scalpel”. Just as the stallion was going to hand him the scalpel Twilight woke up gasping and suddenly sitting up. The two stallions looked at her in shock and ran out not believing their eyes. While they were running out some Black Wings Pegasus flew down from the sky hearing screams. They landed in front of the stallions screaming, “Don’t move or we’ll shoot” one of the stallion ran into a Black Wing soldier he was shot straight in between the eye his skull cracked once his head hit the pavement his brains slowly oozing out. The other groaned at the sight of his co workers brains, he was shot repeatedly on the body; he went limp and hit the floor.
Back With Twilight
I ran out of the morgue wondering how I got their when I heard gunshots and a sickening crack. I went to go check it out; when I got there I saw one of the employees from the morgue get shot by the Black Wing. I was hiding behind a chariot when I heard someone scream “There she is kill her” I didn’t know why they wanted me dead but I just started to run. I guess I made a wrong turn because suddenly I was cornered. Everything went black when they opened fire and my whole body burned. Some time had passed because I woke up with a small burning sensation I looked as the bullet wounds closed up and soon faded, the first thing that crossed my mind was oh my Celestia I’m ALIVE. I screamed at the top of my lungs "WHAT HAVE I BECOME" not believing what had just happened. I heard some Black Wing coming to check were I had supposedly died. I jumped over a wall and hit the floor hard I sat there for a while when I looked up I couldn't believe my eyes. I saw Rainbow Dash walking towards me pointing a gun at my head. I looked at her “RAINBOW DASH DON’T SHOOT IT’S ME TWILIGHT” she looked at me straight in the eyes with anger, and said something I would never forget.
“You’re dead to me Twilight how could you just go and do something like this “She paced back and forth continuing her rant, “do you know what New Mane City is like, it’s gone to hay, everpony is dying because of what you did", she quickly turned to look at me with an angry glare, "that’s why I joined the Black Wing I wanted to take you down I couldn't just let you get away with what you did" She looked at the floor with a sad face yet still with anger in her voice, “because of you I lost contact to all our friends and I can’t forgive you for that”, She quickly drew her gun to my face, “I’m just doing my duty you FUCKING SON OF A BITCH” she shot me in the face, everything went black. But I soon woke up and started to get up slowly. Rainbow Dash was talking to someone on her head piece “Zeus is down I repeat Zeus is down need a pickup”. I got closer to her making sure she didn’t hear me, rage building inside me for what she had just done not believing my friend just did that. I got close to her and grabbed her from behind wrapping my hoof around her waist she started screaming,” LET GO OF ME YOU PIECE OF SHIT YOUR DEAD I SAW YOU FALL” I don’t know what happened after that all I remember is that I punched her in the back trying to get her to stop moving but instead I punched through her back breaking her spine with a loud crack covering my hoof in blood, she started to scream in pain her eyes rolling back and blood filling her mouth and suddenly I saw her dissolve and go into me, I started to get a massive headache and soon I could see all her thoughts.
Private Rainbow Dash- Web of intrigue
Black Wing Officer: Where are all her known friends or relatives especially the mane six?
RD: Don’t know sir, I’m one of them but the rest split up after what happened never heard from them again.
Black Wing Officer: You sure Rainbow Dash we know you were close with Zeus and her dragon.
RD: Well now that you mention it Spike does live in New Mane City he moved from Pony Ville without telling Twilight.
Black Wing Officer: and you barely tell us this. Well where is he now.
RD: He’s living in a small apartment 10 miles away from Mare Tech
Black Wing: Alright well be sending a strike team to that location we need to remove all alias of Zeus.
RD: Roger Commander ill keep patrolling the area she might come by here.
As soon as I saw all this my headache was gone soon I felt like something was creeping all over my body I looked down and noticed this slug go over me it felt painful and burning, suddenly it stopped and I looked at my hoofs I was wearing the same uniform that Rainbow Dash was wearing I looked into a little puddle and looked at my face what stared back at me scared the shit out of me, “oh my Celestia…I’m…I’m..RAINBOWDASH!!!” I couldn't believe it I was in the body of my ex friend, I looked at my new body and I had to admit she wasn’t half bad looking in this uniform. Soon a Black Wing appeared and noticed that I was checking myself out I looked up a bit startled “Uhm...Uh...Nothing to report sir.” He looked at me like I was out of it “What the fuck was she just doing...ugh got to concentrate" He shook his head and looked back at me with a serious face, "I just came by to tell you were going to that dragons apartment remember you’re the one who called in the raid " He started to walk away"this is why mares shouldn’t be allowed to serve in the Black Wing to distracting". I started to panic, I couldn’t just follow the guys who were trying to kill me but I had no choice, “Oh Uhm right now I remember, we should get going then”. I looked at the ground why did I say that just play it smooth Twi you might be able to reach Spike’s apartment without them knowing it’s you, but I need a diversion in order to get out unnoticed.” I started following the soldier when I had an idea on how to leave.”Hey you come here” the BW soldier turned “ugh what does she want now, Yes what do you OOFFF...MY...MY BALLS” That was pretty much my escape plan after I bucked him in the jewels "he won't be having fillies anytime soon" I used my new found wings to fly out of their “So this is what it feels like to fly I can see everything from up here, now where could spike be I have all of RD’s memories maybe I can look into her mind.

Author’s Note: Well here’s chapter 2 I know chapter 1 had a rocky start but i hope this one is easier to read and more enjoyable. After flying for hour’s, Twilight landed on top of a building feeling rather tired, She sat down and looked over the city. She felt the strange sludge go over her body and engulfed her, She stood their back in her former body. She still was trying to get used to the sludge.
Twilight walked to the edge of the building. She looked down and saw some Black Wing soldiers pass by looking for her. She was still trying to figure out the events of the day, “How am I going to find Spike I really need his help he might know what’s going on.” Suddenly Twilight looked up and slapped her face in disbelief, “how could I have been so stupid I can just look into RD’s memories, but how can I do that.”
Twilight paced back an forth trying to find a way to get into Rainbow Dash's mind. “Maybe I can use my magic.” She started to concentrate but nothing came out of her horn. “Why can’t I use my magic” Twilight started to freak out, she kept trying to use her magic repeatedly but nothing worked.
Twilight put her hoof to her chin and started thinking, “It’s probably because of what’s been happening to me lately, it’s probably blocking my powers.” Twilight groaned, “Ugh…if only I had my books. I bet they can tell me what’s going on.” Twilight turned towards the giant research facility, MareTech, “Spike has to be around there, but I can’t just waste my time flying around aimlessly.”
Twilight decided to try one more thing before giving up. Twilight closed her eyes and started to drown out all the noise of the city. She started to concentrate very hard on one thing in her head. She was feeling close to what she was looking for. She kept concentrating, sweat drops were forming on her head. Soon she found a door in the back of her mind. It read: Rainbow Dash's Memories. Twilight giggled inside her head relieved that she found it.
“Now all I have to do is open the door and I can find Spike” Twilight concentrated on opening the door. Once it opened, she stepped inside and suddenly felt like she was falling. She couldn’t do anything to stop. After what felt like an eternity she landed stomach flat on a white circle of light. She got up, surprised she wasn’t hurt, only a bit bruised. Twilight looked around the dark room. The only light was the circle she was standing on, “Well I guess I’m here, A bit of a rough landing though, now where to look.”
Inside Rainbow Dash’s mind
Twilight was standing in the circle of light the place was dark and full of doors leading to who knows where. She thought to herself, “These doors must represent Rainbow Dash’s memories. I wonder which one has the location of spike's apartment”. Twilight stepped up to one of the doors. It had a sign hanging from it. It read Black Wing training memories. Twilight looked at the sign for a while wondering if she should go inside and see what her ex- friend had to go through. “Well it’s not like anything bad could be inside.” She opened the door and was sucked inside, all Twilight could do was scream.
Twilight did not know where she was; she got up and dusted herself off. She looked around and noticed she was at a boot camp for PegasI. She saw a bunch of cabins and a giant clock tower in front of the main building.
Suddenly she heard some pony scream, “ONE TWO ONE TWO ONE TWO MOVE IT MAGGOTS, YOU WANNA BE IN THE BLACK WING WELL YOU BETTER FLY FASTER THAN THAT!” A drill pony was screaming into a megaphone. “I WAS TOLD YOU WERE THE BEST OF THE BEST WHAT IM LOOKING AT IS A BUNCH OF LAZY PEGASI WHO CANT KEEP AFLOAT THEIR OWN WEIGHT!” All the Pegasi flew faster. The noticeably faster one was a cyan blue blur that stopped in front of the drill pony after it was done with its laps.
The drill pony looked at the pony in front of him, “Well done Rainbow Dash, at least you can move faster than these sorry excuses for Pegasi.” Rainbow Dash just stood there with a serious face. The drill pony started screaming at the other Pegasi, “YOU SEE THAT MAGGOTS YOU GOT BEAT BY A MARE! AND FOR CELESTIA'S SAKE, SHE’S FASTER THAN ALL OF YOU!” The drill pony screamed into the megaphone.
The other two Pegasi were panting from all the flying. Northern Dart was trying to catch his breath and speak, “What (pant) time (pant) is it.” Southern Dash looked at the clock and turned back to face Northern Dart. “It's fucking 12:30…this is fucking murder bro.” Northern Dart looked at the clock as well, “Holy shit dude we woke up at 5:00a.m! you’re telling me we’ve been training for 7 hours and 30 minute! This is murder!” They both looked at Rainbow Dash. “That bitch can last for a long a time.” Northern Dart looked at Southern with a grin on his face. “Why don’t you test that theory tonight?” They both looked at each other and laughed. Rainbow Dash turned towards the two Pegasi over hearing what they said and just snickered.
Twilight looked at Rainbow Dash, she still had that serious face and Twilight didn’t like it. That look on Rainbow Dash just showed she didn’t care about anything. Twilight kept staring at her with anger in her eyes, “I’m glad I killed her. She was a worthless friend didn’t really do much but fly and act tough, who needs a friend like that.” Suddenly the memory went white and Twilight was in a different place.
Twilight looked around and saw she was inside one of the cabins and standing in front of a bunk. The weird thing about it was the bed was moving and it looked like two ponies were laying on it. One was Rainbow Dash and the other was a random stallion. Twilight looked away turning bright red, “Oh come on I just had to land in this memory” she started to walk away from the two and saw there was a door that said exit.
Twilight walked up to it and opened the door. She appeared in the black room again. Twilight walked around some more looking at the doors. Twilight read them one by one, “Let’s see, childhood memories, first love memories, best friend memories pfft yeah right, Grand Galloping Gala memories, hm this one looks like it could be it.”
The door read “inner thoughts” Twilight saw that the door was bigger than all the other ones. She decided to open it, “This one better contain what I’m looking for.” Instead of being sucked in, she heard a booming voice, “You Twilight Sparkle will now see all the thoughts Rainbow Dash had during certain events. Are you ready because once you enter you can’t turn back? What you see inside might haunt you and make you regret your actions.” Twilight just snickered and walked into the dark room.
Twilight started to take a step when suddenly a transparent Rainbow Dash appeared in front of her. Twilight jumped back a bit startled by the apparition but Rainbow Dash started talking. “Oh Twilight what happened to you, you’ve become a monster, but I’ll find a way to help you.” The transparent Rainbow Dash disappeared and Twilight stared into the darkness dumbfounded.
Twilight kept walking and every time she did, a Rainbow Dash would appear and tell her something. “I’ll join the Black Wing and track Twilight then I can help her.”Twilight was shocked for a while because here friend would join the Black Wing just to find her. Twilight then took a few more steps and another Rainbow Dash appeared, “No matter how much the Black Wing tells me Twilight is evil, I will always be loyal to my friend.” Twilight was a bit startled from what Rainbow Dash had said. She looked at the floor, a tear forming in her eye. Twilight wiped it away and kept walking afraid to hear what Rainbow Dash would say next.
Rainbow Dash appeared once more, “Twilight must be stopped. She is evil. New Mane City will be safe once she dies.” Twilight looked at Rainbow Dash for a while thinking, “Why did she say that I thought she wanted to help me, just shows how un-loyal she is.” Twilight could see the exit up ahead.
She started to walk towards it when Rainbow Dash appeared again, “Why would I think such things. I’m loyal to my friends. No brainwashing can make me hate Twilight I need to stay strong. I know there’s a way to help her.” Twilight looked at Rainbow Dash with a confused look, “okay so for a while she believed the Black Wing?” Twilight was starting to regret what she did but she was not entirely convinced. Twilight got closer to the exit and then she heard the booming voice again, “You are close to the end Twilight but you have 2 more thoughts to hear before you leave this place. After that you will find what you came to see.” Twilight kept walking she was starting to feel queasy in her stomach afraid about what she was about to hear.
The second to last Rainbow Dash appeared, “I found Twilight. I’m sorry I have to do this friend but the Black Wing keep a close eye on me so I’m sorry, but I have to shoot you. I’ll explain everything when we reach the safe house and we can start working on a cure... Oh Celestia i just shot my friend but she’s just unconscious for now, all I need to do now is wait for the pickup.” Tears were starting to form in Twilight's eyes again not wanting to face the fact that her friend had been trying to help her but she was blinded by anger to see that. She took the final step and the final Rainbow Dash appeared except this one had a torn back, eyes rolled back and blood dripping from her mouth all it said was, “Why Twilight? I was just trying to help, I can’t believe how you could betray my loyalty like this I thought we were friends.” Twilight was crying at this point she dropped to her knees, “IM SORRY RAINBOW DASH FORGIVE ME I DIDN’T KNOW...I didn't know.”
Twilight was sobbing to herself as she exited the place. She was in another dark room except Rainbow Dash was inside sitting on a chair in front of a table drinking coffee. Twilight ran towards her friend not believing that she was alive but Rainbow Dash raised her hoof indicating her to stop. Rainbow Dash got up and walked up to her with anger in her face. Rainbow Dash got in Twilight's face and screamed, "WHAT THE FUCK IS YOUR PROBLEM, IM BUSTING MY FLANK TRYING TO HELP YOU AND YOU LITERALLY BACK STAB ME, AND NOW IM STUCK IN CELESTIA KNOWS WERE WITH NOTHING TO DO BUT THINK TO MYSELF.”
Twilight looked at her friend and tried asking for forgiveness, “look I’m sorry I did that, I wasn't really expecting to kill you can you ever forgive me?’ Rainbow Dash just walked back and sat down, “Look I will never forgive you for what you did. In fact I cant, because im not the real Rainbow Dash, im just her mental manifestation so, im just somepony to talk to for now. But you betrayed my loyalty and trust nonetheless, I thought we were friends but instead you go and kill me.
Twilight looked at Rainbow Dash with tears in her eyes, “Well what could I do? I mean you did SHOOT ME IN THE FACE.” Rainbow Dash looked at Twilight with confusion on her face, “You mean you still don’t know what you are capable of… I am surprised they haven’t caught you, hay im surprised you haven't caught on yourself yet. You know what I am going to be a bitch and let you figure it out, but I will tell you where spike lives. After that I am not talking to you anymore." Rainbow Dash put a hoof to her chin thinking, "As I recall Spike lives on the corner of Mercer Street you will find him there. Now get out of here.
Twilight looked at her friend with tears, “Thanks but I’m sorry for killing you.” Rainbow Dash looked at her friend and smirked, “well you’re going to have to live with the fact that you killed me and betrayed me even if I was going to help you, now leave me alone and go cry somewhere else.”
Twilight just nodded unable to say anything. She started to concentrate on getting out of Rainbow Dash's mind, once again the room went white and she was back in the real world. (you can stop the music here if its still playing)
Twilight was still on the rooftop except she was crying. Crying about the fact that she killed a loyal friend and not even she could forgive herself. Twilight stood up and wiped the tears, “ I need to get serious now I gotta get to Spikes place he can tell me whats happening.
Unknown to the little unicorn Luna had been looking at Twilight from afar. She smiled to herself, the poor little unicorn wouldn't know what hit her.
Side note: yeah it took a while to make this mainly cause i had to come up with a way to make the inside of RD'S mind scene but i think it worked out and go check out the deviant art page of Jakobeks that's were the RD coffee picture came from.
