The secret
A few weeks have passed since Fluttershy confessed to Twilight. They had gone out on several dates to see if they were right for each other and from there they found it to be right and had been living as a couple....in secret.
Since it happened, the new couple decided to keep their relationship secret from all their friends and family, the only one who knew was Angel but they doubted that he would tell...or they would understand him. To the others nothing seemed to changed, but in fact a lot did change...they just didn't see it. When the group came together to discuss a plan during a mission, Twilight and Fluttershy would purposely stand next to each other and entwine their tails, when some pony like Pinkie or Rainbow talked about something only they would care about, the love birds would sneak a peck on the cheek or a quick nuzzle before the others could notice and they wanted it to stay that way until they felt it was ready to explain themselves coming out. Of course plans don't always go right completely.

It was around 9:00 pm when Twilight arrived back at the castle "I'm home Spike!" Twilight shouted to let the baby dragon know that she was back. Trotting through the castle's main doors, she heard a shout from upstairs.
"What took you so long!?" Spike replied.
Twilight was about to shout out exactly what she did, but then realised what that would lead to. "I...was helping Fluttershy with a....a... problem... yeah problem" Twilight said nervously.
Spike had now made it down stairs to see the purple princess and to greet her, but not before asking her a surprisingly frustrating question "What kind of problem?" Spike asked.
Twilight was caught off guard and panicked "I...uh...it...it doesn't matter at the moment Spike. All that matters is that its fixed and I can go and lay down with a good book for a bit then go to sleep...if that's alright with you" she said still visibly nervous.
Spike stated something to Twilight as she walked by "You know, for a little while now you have been at Fluttershy's cottage or have been out doing stuff with her more often than you used to."
Twilight stopped. Spike couldn't see it at the moment but Twilight was sweating bullets rapidly and she couldn't prevent it. "I...I don't know... what you're talking about... Spike, Fluttershy and I haven't been together more often recently...you're just imagining it" Twilight stuttered slightly.
But Spike wasn't buying it "Yes you have, you keep talking about her, you insist to help her with anything and sit next to her, go to her place for hours on end and for Celestia's sake you have even let her sleep in the castle, in your bed...with you!" Spike shouted "So don't say that nothing is up because there is, so just tell me" Spike pleaded.
Twilight was about to go into meltdown, she didn't know what to say so she went with something basic but at least Spike would leave her be. "Spike it's none of your business to pry into my relationship with Fluttershy, speaking of which, is strictly good friends. So I'll be seeing you tomorrow goodnight." Twilight said before departing for her room.
Spike asked one last question before he went to do his own thing "Don't you want to have something to eat?"
"Had some food at Fluttershy's" she replied.
Spike could only sigh at that.

The following day, Twilight awoke to the sound of knocking at the main doors. Her room may of been a great distance from doors, but the said doors had a tendency to echo the sound pretty far around the castle's walls, which was a benefit as well as a draw back. Twilight rubbed her eyes in an attempt to remove as much sleep as she could, and with a great stretch she was done and ready to see who was at the door. Of course she knew who it was.
Twilight teleported to the main entrance and opened the great golden doors...and there standing outside was the smiling face of Twilight's marefriend... Fluttershy.
"Hey Sweety, how did you sleep?" Fluttershy asked as she walked through the door pecking Twilight on the cheek as she did.
Twilight responded "Pretty good, and by the looks of it, you did too. But now I need to talk with you...seriously"
"Yep I sure did. But what's the matter, did something happen last night after you left?" Fluttershy replied back.
"Follow me upstairs, I'll tell you there" Twilight gestured for Fluttershy to follow.
Making their way into the throne room Twilight began to explain what happened when she got home. "So you think he's on to us?" Fluttershy asked as Twilight finished her explanation.
"Definitely" Twilight responded.
"What should we do, if he finds out...then...he'll tell the others...and if Rarity finds out, all of ponyville will find out in no time and... and...!" Fluttershy panicked nearly on the verge to tears.
Twilight went to her side and hugged her tightly, just like when Fluttershy confessed, and stroked her mane soothing her down. When she felt better Twilight responded.
"Fluttershy, sweetheart it's OK, no pony is going to find out about us now. When we are ready to tell them, we will tell them the truth and also... do you really think the girls or any pony in ponyville is going to feel any less of you or me just because we love each other like this?"
Fluttershy wiped some tears from her eyes before shaking her head. Twilight nuzzled Fluttershy before stating their next move "OK good, let's go tell Spike that we aren't a couple so that he won't be on our backs about it."

As Twilight began to get up; she felt a tug on her back hoof that caused her to fall back down. The cause of her falling turned out to be Fluttershy who was giving her a sultry smile. "Not so fast Sparky, I've been missing you an awful lot, so how about instead we tell Spike not to worry about us in a little bit and do... this first." Fluttershy said inching closer to the purple pony.
Twilight pulled her own sultry smile back "Well if that's what you want to do, then who am I to say no" Twilight replied back inching closer as well.
The two kept on staring and moving closer until they were close enough to lock lips...and tie tongues. Since the two had been together, they had gotten much more daring with their make out sessions. First it was short but sweet kisses, then it got to longer slightly sloppy ones, next tongues were involved and then finally they got to full blown making out with hugging and sloppy tongue tied kisses...all in the span of three weeks! So to put simply, the two really loved each other, but they have decided to keep from the more...extreme love creating sessions, since Fluttershy doesn't feel ready for them. Twilight never complained about it, she was just happy to be with the one she loved and she definitely couldn't complain about how well Fluttershy kissed so she was happy.
Twilight and Fluttershy went on like this for several more minutes until they heard something that caused them to stop dead in their tracks.
"Hah I knew it!" the voice shouted.
Twilight sighed "I think my bedroom was a better place to do this"
