Twilight gets her own army from Princess Celestial. But she does need a Captain for her army.....who could that be..?
Ever since Twilight has become a Princess, she has been more caught up with her studies and friends. Now Celestia has decided she is ready for her own army in the great town of Ponyville. She will need a Captain for the army but who will be right for the job?

"Ever since I was a little filly I always dreamed of learning magic and being Princess Celestia's Protégée. As I grew older I became more smarter and smarter, learning new spells, and learning more about school.
I never thought friends would be a good thing to have in my life and I just kept focusing on getting in the classes so I can learn more spells. It was the day of my 'test' if you want to call it that I was a young filly and I tried my best to show my magic, but it didn't work out as I planned, but then something out of the nowhere made my magic burst and hit the egg to well make Spike.
When I kept growing older I kept getting into more studies and less into friendship.
Then Princess Celestial told me to make friends and forget about my studying for a while, and I wanted to be nice and caring so I agreed with it, well not really on the friendship thing but for the sun celebration, I had to go to Ponyville, and that's where I met my friends. I love my friends a lot and will do anything to protect them; even if that means dying for them.
We had a lot of great fun adventures together like defeating Nightmare Moon, taking out the Changelings at the wedding, and saving the Crystal Empire, but that feeling I got at the bottom of that long curvy stairway, it felt horrible like Sombra was contrilling me.
That's in the past now and I am all better, and ever since I got this huge castle, well it's been empty even with my friends here, I just wish we had the Oak Library back, oh how much I miss that.
Princess Celestia has assigned me my very own army, at first I was like 'you don't have to do this' but now I'm very scared, like I've never had an army of my own, and I don't even have a Captain! Well here goes nothing."
Twilight steps outside on the top of her balcony to her castle and looks at all the new recruits that are waiting down there for the Princess. Most of them are Stallions, but the rest are Mares which surprised Twilight, because she only thought Stallions were allowed in the Army. Twilight breathed in and out a few times then smiled nervously down at the crowd counting how many there were, and she counted about 80 Ponies were there, some from all across the land that wanted to join an Army for Equestria. Twilight finally got the courage and spoke up.
"Hello Everypony, I am Princess Twilight Sparkle and this is the day where I will choose who will be in my army!" Twilight spoke loud and proud.
Everypony looked up at here some smiling and some Ponies were all serious about this. Twilight had opened the doors and let Everypony inside the castle and sat all of them down to explain what will be happening through the training camp. After she had explained everything they made their war to the Crystal Empire to have Shining Armour help Twilight train the soldiers for her army. In total 65 passed leaving the others to go home, there were only 15 mares left in the army, but Twilight was missing something...
"Um Twilight, we do have all the soldiers ready for your army but, you know your missing a Captain right?" Shining spoke up with Princess Cadence next to him
"Oh no! What do I do, because I know you can't because you go the Crystal army, but I don't know who will be best to be the Captain!!" Twilight panicked rushing back and forth
"TWILIGHT!" Shining roared at her to stop
"What!" Twilight stopped and looked at Shining
"Go back to Ponyville there has to be Somepony there" Shining smiled hoping Twilight would agree
"Your right Shining!" Twilight hugged her brother and took Everypony back to Ponyville with her and her army stayed in the castle while she went looking for a captain.
Twilight went into town and started looking around for a pony perfect for the job. She started getting worried that she couldn't find anyone and started rushing around town and started making other Ponies worried about her until it clicked in her head, she had her friends that could be perfect to be captain, but which one of her friends? She first thought of Rarity being Captain but then instantly threw that idea away because she knew Rarity would make her armies armour look less powerful, then she thought of Pinkie Pie, well never mind if that idea, then she thought of Fluttershy and said no to that and also to Applejack, but then it clicked once again...Rainbow Dash!
Twilight went everywhere looking for Rainbow Dash, she went all over Sweet Apple Acres, all over the sky, and even to Rainbow's house, but she was no where to be found until... *SMACK* Rainbow went head first into Twilight and they both went tumbling to the ground hard, luckily no pony got hurt.
"Ow! Dangit Rainbow!" Twilight said furiously
"Blah blah anyways Ponies have said your looking for me, what's up?"
"Well Rainbow, as you heard I have a new Army" Twilight spoke
"Yeah, go on" Rainbow said impatiently
"I was wondering if you wanted to be my armies new captain!" Twilight said with a enthusiastic smile
"Y-you want m-me as captain?" Rainbow said blushing on the thought about being closer with Twilight
"Yeah, I even thought of you when it came up because your strong, loyal and very brave" Twilight said smiling
All Rainbow could do right now is get lost into Twilight's eyes while her face was as red as an apple. Twilight noticed and touched her head.
"Oh my Celestia Rainbow your heating up!" Twilight said very worried
"No Twi I'm fine" Rainbow said with a smile
"are you sure?" Twilight said smiling while still a little worried
"Yeah Twi I'm sure" All Rainbow could do is blush when Twilight started hugging her
"Oh Thank you Rainbow so much! Meet back here around noon tomorrow " Twilight said flying away
-oh great- Rainbow said under her breath heading home
Twilight went to tell Everypony in the army about their new captain, some were skeptical, but others were confident that Rainbow would do great. They just have to truly see tomorrow....
Today is the day where Rainbow Dash starts training to be Twilight's Captain for her new army. Twilight told her to be around her castle at noon and that's what she did or was supposed to; Rainbow fell asleep because she trained all night, she slowly opened her eyes and looked at the clock. The time was 12:05, Rainbow Dash quickly got up.
"OHMYGOSH OHMYGOSH OHMYGOSH!" Rainbow instantly flew out of her house and faster and faster she flew to Twilight's castle.
As Rainbow was getting there she can she all the ponies that were there yesterday there today. She couldn't find Twilight anywhere and kept flying to her castle, by the time she got there, Twilight was standing right in front of Rainbow Dash, she looked up at Twilight and saw her with a mad frown of her face.
"Oh, hey Twi" Rainbow looks at her and nervously laughs
"You know your late" Twilight said with a frown
"Uh yeah um, I kinda over slept" Rainbow said
"Rainbow what is wrong with you today, you acted the same way yesterday!" Twilight said while wrapping a hoof around Rainbow
"N-nothing is wrong with me, let's just get started ok?" Rainbow says walking towards the training zone
"Ok.." Twilight said walking with her very confused
Twilight called for Rainbow and all of the other pony recruits to start their training. Some ponies did other obstacles , and others did other obstacles, but Rainbow out of all of them did the best, yet Twilight wasn't surprised. The training got harder and harder as Twilight gave them more things to do, yes Twilight also did have squad leaders that had more training than the rest of the ponies but Rainbow had the worst training out of all of them. For now Twilight let all of them rest because they were done for the day, the squad leaders still had a little more training to do and Rainbow had a lot more to do.
"Okay Squad leaders you will be doing a very easy training because it's your last, all you have to do is fly in all those rings in the sky, and Rainbow we have a lot for you to do" Twilight ordered and the squad leaders flew to the training rings while Rainbow was breathing heavily.
"Is the Reainbow Dash actually tired from exercise?" Twilight smiled while smirking
"What? No! The awesome Rainbow Dash is never tired from exercise" Rainbow said while standing confidently
"Well then, get going or I'm going to make you do some wing ups" Twilight said while staring dead into her eyes
"Ugh fine" Rainbow Dash gets up and walks to the next part of training and sees dummies all around
"Well Rainbow this is the next part of training, you will be taking this sword and fighting in combat training against all the dummies" Twilight said as Rainbow starts destroying the dummies with the sword one by one.
The more and more Rainbow Dash hit the dummies the more stuffing went everywhere and the more and more parts of the dummies flew.
"Rainbow, Rainbow, you are done, wow jeez you didn't have to murder them" Twilight said horrified
"Oh hehe sorry I got a little carried away" Rainbow blushed in embarrassment
"A little?" Twilight smirked
"Fine a lot and also what other training do I have to do?" Rainbow asked as Twilight laughed
"None you and the rest are done for today but I want to see you all tomorrow we have a meeting" Twilight smiled and flew in the sky.
Rainbow has caught up with her and flew with Twilight as they both saw the sunset. Twilight was admiring the beautiful sight, while Rainbow was just lost staring at Twilight. Twilight was lost in the sunset until a letter appeared out of no where.
"What the-" Twilight flew back a little then grabbed the note
"What is it twi?" Rainbow kept staring at the note
"It's from Princess Celestia" Twilight told Rainbow as she opened the note and read it out loud
Dear Twilight sparkle, I am coming to your castle very soon to talk to you and Rainbow Dash about what's happening inside canterlot right now. It is urgent that we meet or it may be to late. I hope I can see you once more Twilight please do you best to get here ASAP. All I will tell you now is that the changelings are attacking canterlot, we managed to break their first wave but by tomorrow they will be back with more and I fear that we alone won't defeat them, not this time. I will need you, Rainbow, and your army. I will explain more.

Twilight and Rainbow Dash instantly flew very fast towards the castle. As they got to the castle Princess Celestia had two royal guards protecting her while she saw both Twilight and Rainbow watching them coming. Twilight saluted to Princess Celestia while Rainbow looked confused and saluted also, twilight smirked and shook her head and Rainbow smiled and bowed.
"Twilight, Rainbow thank goodness you are both here, it's the changelings they took over canterlot. Luckily Luna is in Saddle Arabia meeting with the king" Celestia says shaken up
"Celestia we both have out armies and I may not have the biggest but we will win also with the elements of harmony" Twilight said with confidence in her voice
"I know and I am giving you my best soldier to join your army, he is very loyal and brave that he is a good squad leader" Princess Celestia said
"That's true I do need one more squad leader, who are they?" Twilight questioned
Right behind the two other guards, one guard that has a golden color with a navy blue mane, stepped in front of them and smiled and looked at Twilight and Rainbow
"FLASH!?!" Both Twilight and Rainbow screamed
"Princess Twilight it's nice to see you again" Flash smiled and Twilight blushed
"So Flash what are you doing here?" Rainbow said getting a little jealous
"I will be serving Princess Twilight in her army as a Squad leader and I'm guessing your..?" Flash questioned
"The captain" Rainbow said smirking
"Very Impressive" Flash smiled
"Yes it is" Twilight said smiling
As the time went on all of them were explaining the plan on how to beat the changelings in the war. While they were doing that Queen Chrysalis was making more changelings for her army, she has now 500 changelings and she stopped because that is enough for now. She starts her evil laugh at the sight of canterlot being tooken over. The next thing she knows is that they will be attacking manehatten, she puts 100 changelings to invade the city, but she has a little doubt about attacking the Crystal empire and Ponyville, because she knows they both already got word. She also knows there will be troops in manehatten but she is ready for that attack no matter what. Twilight has called all her troops for a meeting in the castle, the time is around noon, while she is preparing Twilight's friends Rarity, Applejack, Pinkie pie, and Fluttershy got the news about the changelings.
"Thank goodness you all are here. Rarity I need you to make very strong armour for my army." Twilight ordered
"On it! " Rarity said trotting to her boutique
"Applejack we will need you to be the one to give food supply just in case we stay in war for a long time" Twilight told AJ
"I'll make some apple fritters for y'all" Applejack trotted towards Sweet Apple Acres with some ponies in Ponyville to deliver the food and some went with Rarity
"Pinkie we may need your party cannons but not with confetti we will need boulders" Twilight ordered
"I used to be a rock farmer, I'll give you the toughest boulders and I'll get you eight party cannons" Pinkie saluted
"Great" Twilight said smiling
"W-what do you want me to do?" Fluttershy said quietly
"Flutters we will need you to have some birds like an eagle or a few of then to travel notes from the battlefields to you all" Twilight said
"Ok" Fluttershy smiled and went to retrieve 4 eagles
While the rest of her friends where doing that Twilight, and Rainbow were getting all the soldiers to their squads, and every squad leader was giving a plan for tomorrow. The right after that Rarity and a few other unicorns came in and shown Twilight the armor. The armour was purple like Twilight's color with Twilight's cutie mark on the chest, with a sword holder and a spear holder.
"Rarity these are amazing!" Twilight got excited and gave Everypony armour
"Thank you darling but you and Rainbow got more stronger armour" Rarity smiles and shows both of them the armour which cover their whole body with on the sides are a sword holders and spear holders.
"Rarity this is better than 20% cooler!" Rainbow said
"Thank you but I had to make both of your more stronger because we don't want you two getting hurt" Rarity smiles Twilight puts on the armour and yes it is very heavy but she is stronger due to the obstacle course. They were now prepared to fight with the Royal Guard and to destroy the changeling tomorrow, they just had to wait...
Twilight woke up today, it was a naturally beautiful day, but that didn't matter to her now, the only thing that mattered is the fact that she had and army to fight with against the changelings. Twilight arose out of her bed and yawned and stretched her body. Twilight then left her room to enter the main hall to see all her troops armored up and ready to deploy in the war. Twilight saw Princess Celestia coming and commanded for her troops to take a rest from standing.
"Hello Princess Twilight" Celestia smiles and wraps a wing around her
"Nice to see you here Princess Celestia" Twilight smiles looking around at her scene
"Twilight this is very urgent that we need you and your army to get in the war soon" Princess Celestia said worried
"Rainbow Dash and I will get all of them in to stop the changelings along with the elements" Twilight smiled
"Not quite because you and Rainbow are going in the war and there will only be four elements when you need six" Celestia told Twilight
"Oh..." Twilight said now worried
"Twilight there is nothing to worry about, we will kick the changelings butt and still come back safe to use the elements to finish the war" Rainbow said with motivation in her voice
Twilight smiled and went in front of her troops and used her canterlot voice so all of the soldiers can hear her
"EVERYPONY, TODAY IS THE DAY WHERE WE FIGHT AS ONE AND IF IT COMES TO IT WE WILL DIE WITH HONOR AS ONE GREAT FORCE THAT THE CHANGELINGS WILL BE AFRAID. YOU ALL TRAINED HERE VERY WELL NOW LETS SHOW THEY WHAT WE ARE MADE OF!!!" Twilight screamed and Everypony cheered and saluted getting on the chariots.
The royal guard had over 300 troops and Twilight's army had 60, some flew in chariots, and others used their wings to fly. They could see Canterlot up in the distance;they were determined that this would be a tough but easy war, until it happened so quickly right above Canterlot was an air war. The royal guard fought the, their while Twilight, Rainbow and their troops went to manehatten to fight them there. Meanwhile back in Canterlot, the royal guard had a few troops hurt and injured while some were hit in the wing and they fell to their deaths, the Changelings on the other had were losing more, the royal guard were penetrating their hearts with their swords and spears, and there was blood covering the streets like they were repainting it all. It was a fierce and brutal battl; Princess Celestia called her army to fall back and so did the Changelings. Blood and bodies covered the streets while there were screams of children and soldiers dying for both sides, Celestia was lost and didn't know what to do, until she saw a mare tall as her......she looked at the figure for a moment and saw it was.....Queen Chrysalis.
The Queen pointed towards them and a few dozen Changelings flew toward them and so did the royal guard, soon both sides clashed with each other, and both sides falling and dying, one by one while they are were getting covered in blood, some bodies showed their insides but worst of all, many families and friends had to see their friends and family die. The battle was almost over it was 20 royal guard left and no Changelings in Canterlot, it was all up to Queen Chrysalis to stop them. It was a fierce fight but one by one the royal guard fell dead blood everywhere, it was just her and Celestia; she threw a blast of magic at Celestia, she had dodged the blast and done the same. The blast of magic hit the Queen and she charged at Celestia, and she did the same, their horns clashed, but after a while Celestia couldn't hold it longer and Queen Chrysalis's horn punctured her chest near her heart but didn't hit it, she pulled out and left her to die; laughing, she walked away. Twilight and her army made it to Manehatten, but it was to late, the Changelings had destroyed the city, buildings on fire Ponies running away.
"Rainbow take squad one to east Manehatten, I will take squad two to west Manehatten, and Flash take squad three forward we will push them out of the city or box them in here then we will use full force on them" Twilight said in a commanding voice and they all saluted and flew to their directions, and so did Twilight.
As Twilight flew to west Manehatten she heard war in the background and started to get worried, luckily she has her troops to cheer her up. Twilight and her squad landed on the ground and instantly was surrounded by Changelings, but that didn't scare them because they all started having a huge fight, it was bloody with bodies falling one by one for the Changelings, yet there was only one soldier that died in Twilight's squad, after the fight was over all over the road were Changling bodies, dead as a nail. Twilight told one soldier to pick up the dead soldier, she took of her helmet and tears welded up in her eyes.
"I'm so sorry you had to die like this....you died with honor Cherrilee" Twilight fell on her flanks and cried on the ground and the soldiers watched around for more Changelings while they cheered her up.
Meanwhile in east Manehatten Rainbow and her Squad were getting out numbered one by one, they were getting knocked to the ground but that didn't stop them, they got up and killed more Changelings. Rainbow even threw dead Changeling bodies at the enemy, but lucky for them Twilight and her squad joined up with them to take out the Changelings; once again there were dead Changeling bodies everywhere but some retreated to where Flash's squad was. The rest of the army flew to their position and was surprised to see that all the Changelings were killed and no pony got hurt.
"Wow flash I never knew you were a good leader" Twilight smiled
"Oh come on I had my own squad back when I was in the Royal guard" Flash giggled and nuzzled Twilight
"Hey back off her- I mean let's get to the next place" Rainbow said while Twilight was beginning to think Rainbow was jealous
Twilight and her army pushed back to Canterlot to see how Everypony was doing, but once they got there it was all devastating, Changeling bodies were all dead and so was the royal guard. Twilight and her Amy looked everywhere for survivors and Twilight screamed seeing Princess Celestia bleeding out; she rushed to her while the other were bringing medics, she looked at Celestia DNA Celestia weakly smiled.
"T-Twil-light" Princess Celestia sad in between bloody coughs
"Princess I'm so sorry I wasn't here for you" Twilight said crying hard
"Twilight everything is fine, Luna was informed but won't let her leave, and it's my time anyways" Princess Celestia weakly smiled before her eyes closed for the last time. All Twilight could do was cry, but in an instant anger filled up inside her and all she wanted know was revenge.
All her troops, with Flash and Rainbow looked in horror and she took a dead Changeling and ripped his head off and tearing him piece by piece, she was covered in its blood but then she yelled.
"QUEEN CHRYSALIS WHEN I FIND YOU I WILL PUT YOUR HEAD ON A PIKE" Twilight screamed taking her and her troops to the las Pegasus for another fight.
It has been 3 days since Celestia's death, and Twilight was crying a lot. Her troops did their best to cheer her up but her feelings went from sad to pure anger. They had all took a break from flying on the outside of Las Pegasus; Twilight didn't sleep at all that night and her army got very worried, yet they knew why she is mad, her mentor, the one that cared a lot about her when she was in school, and her favorite friend has died and there was no way to save her. Twilight got up and used her magic to take down a tree. she threw it and made a loud scream.
"we are heading out to Las Pegasus in 10 mins" Twilight ordered
"Twilight we are very tired lets just go tomorrow" Rainbow said yawning
"YOU KNOW WHAT RAINBOW I DON'T NEED YOU OR ANY OF YOU TO COME WITH ME I'LL DO IT MYSELF" Twilight shouted waking everyone up as she flew very fast into the sky, Rainbow instantly flew after her.
Rainbow looked all over for Twilight and after around ten minutes, she sees Twilight on a single floating cloud, she grabs another one and lays it next to Twilight.
"Twilight are okay?" Rainbow says very worried
"Y-yeah I'm f-fine Rainbow" Twilight says breaking down crying (the war part will start soon, but right now Twidash!)
"Twilight I L- I really am worried for you" Rainbow says hugging Twilight to comfort her
"R-Rainbow what were you gonna say?" Twilight rolled over facing Rainbow
"N-Nothing!" Rainbow blushed looking away from Twilight
"Rainbow please tell m-" Twilight said getting cut off by Rainbow instantly tackling her on the cloud and kissing her
Twilight went wide eyed watching the scene happen right in front of her. She didn't know what to feel and what to do, she was frozen watching Rainbow kiss her, but the longer the kiss went the more she loved it. She looked at Rainbow and saw sadness in her eyes, she wanted to know why she did this but now she wanted to enjoy the new experience she had with her friend. Twilight wrapped her wings around Rainbow and broke the kiss, she saw Rainbow try to fight her to get another kiss but Twilight looked deeply into Rainbows eyes.
"Rainbow look at me, what's wrong please tell me why you kissed me" Twilight looked deeply into Rainbows eyes and got very worried
"Twilight I'm v-very sorry I-I didn't mean to do that I just really l-love you" Rainbow said breaking down crying
"Rainbow it's ok, I really love you too, but we have a war to do" Twilight smiled at Rainbow and she got up and carried Rainbow on her back
"O-ok" Rainbow layer her head on the back of Twilight's neck and kissed her ear
"R-Rainbow" Twilight blushed and smiled
Twilight and Rainbow got back and all of her troops were worried where she went and she told them where she went but never told them about the kiss and both Rainbow and Twilight's moment. It hit morning and they were up and ready for the war in Las Pegasus; the more they flew the more they got closer and in the distance they saw it was a war zone. They instantly flew faster to the city, meanwhile in the city the Changelings were walking then one of Twilight's soldiers pierced their spear deeply through the Changeling. The others looked up in the sky and one by one were brutally killed ranged from spears to the heart to their guts everywhere but Twilight army didn't care. They kept going and wouldn't stop, the Changelings didn't know what to do and started falling back towards town square where on all sides they were getting boxed in, they tried flying away but instantly failed. Twilight used her freeze spell and froze every single one of them, they took the advantage and stabbed every single one of them and when she unfroze all of them, blood exploded everywhere, it looked like a massacre, but they all cheered in victory, but lost 4 soldiers in battle.
Twilight gathered all of them and Flash and Rainbow stood right in front of their squads. After a long day of battle, they had all rested and Twilight requested to have Celestias corpse here, and so they brought it and Twilight used a spell, that can bring back life. Instantly Twilight fell to the floor and Rainbow and Flash rushed to help her, but Everypony stared in awe as Celestia got up and looked normal like she never died. The spell yes did help her come back to life, but also did help her get more stronger than before.
"Thank you Twilight for bringing me back to life" Celestia grabbed Twilight and hugged her deeply. they both shared tears and everything was normal again
They had gotten news that Ponyville was being attacked and Queen Chrysalis was trying to take Twilight's throne. Twilight was again filled with anger and they started heading out to Ponyville. Twilight knew what had to be done, and that was to fight Queen Chrysalis on her own.
Twilight and her troops along with Princess Celestia were all heading to Ponyville to stop Queen Chrysalis and end this Changeling war. They all se Ponyville in the distance and fly faster.
"We are almost their everypony!" Twilight yelled
"TWILIGHT LOOK OUT!" Rainbow dash screamed while Changelings were ambushing them from the ground. Twilight and her troops charged at all of them and attacked them. One by one they were taking out the Changelings; the rest of them retreated to Ponyville. Twilight and her troops got to the edge of Ponyville, right in front of the everfree forest. They walk very slowly looking over on a hill to see Ponyville on fire with dead ponies everywhere, a little of them Changelings, but the rest are ponies from Ponyville.
"Oh my celestia" Twilight reared up at the sight of her home being destroyed with screams of ponies in the distance as they get brutally killed.
"We have to save the ponies and head back to my castle to stop Queen Chrysalis" Twilight said
"What if the plan doesn't work and we get ambushed?" Rainbow said a little worried
"Then you all will stay and fight them and I will fight her myself" Twilight said looking at the castle
"Twilight you cant fight her alone!" Flash said yelling
"I have to Flash!" Twilight screamed causing thirty Changelings surround them and Twilight teleported away rushing to the castle, but some Changelings were chasing after her and she went deeper into Ponyville to lose them.
Twilight's army with Rainbow, Flash, and Princess Celestia were looking around at all of the Changelings determined to take all of them out and to help Twilight get to her castle and defeat Queen Chrysalis. The Changelings jumped at them at one and one by one they were getting slaughtered. Twilight's army were doing an excellent job at killing them; brains, guts, and other Changeling body parts were going everywhere, but while they were fighting Twilight's army lost two soldiers. Rainbow and Flash looked at eachother and they both had worried looks on their faces that they were going to lose this battle. Princess Celestia looked at them.
"Do not give up my little ponies, you are fighting for Equestria, against the Changelings" Princess Celestia spoke while two Changelings jumped on her and she killed both by stabbing it with her horn.
"Yes ma'am " Both Flash and Rainbow said in unison while they had Changelings jump on them and they instantly killed them looking back at Twilight's troops seeing that more troops were killed. After a long horrific battle the Changelings had lost by retreating back towards the castle and twilight's troops moved slowly clearing out houses one by one killing nd Changelings that were hiding in them and saving ponies along the way.
Meanwhile Twilight was still getting chased by eight Changelings, she was before getting chased by fourteen, but she killed six Changelings, but they were getting closer and closer to her until she blaster four of them with her magic making them blow up having their guts go everywhere. She found herself an opening and jumped in an empty house hiding and seeing the other Changelings run past her home but one jumped in the house she was in and she silently killed him with a blade. She snuck out and was heading towards her castle to fight Queen Chrysalis. Flash and twilight's army was heading down the streets of Ponyville and he saw Twilight.
"Twilight!" Flash said running towards her
"Flash! NO!" Rainbow yelled running to him
Flash went up to Twilight and hugged her deeply and then in an instant he opened his eyes to see Twilight turn into a Changeling, and felt a blade pierce his heart. He dropped down blood rushing out of his body and he is on the ground....dead. Rainbow dash charges toward the Changeling and kills the changeling in an instant. She went up to flash and lifted his head tears falling down her face. She had to find Twilight.
Rainbow was searching all over Ponyville for Twilight but had no luck doing so. Until she saw a pony fly by heading toward the castle and she commanded Twilight's troops to follow.
Twilight was getting closer and closer to her castle and had to find a way in because there were guards at the front of the entrance. She then used her magic and threw the Changelings in the air killing them. She went in and went down the hallway, but she knew it was to quiet. Her body was telling her not to go in but her mind told her she had to do this or the Changelings will win. All of the sudden, a blast of magic hit her pushing her back to the entrance of the castle. She held her head and looked up and saw Chrysalis laughing and staring down at her from Twlight's throne. It was all different, the throne was green, almost looked rotten.
"Queen Chrysalis, this is your last chance to give up. My army has tooken your Changelings out of Ponyville" Twilight said angered
"HAHAHAHA, you thought you won?! You have to kill me first before you can win!" Queen Chrysalis laughed and screamed jumping at her and charging, and Twilight did the same. When they both reached eachother their horns collided and sparks of green and purple went all across the room while Changelings watched as their queen was attacking the princes of Friendship.
"You will never win Chrysalis!" Twilight roared at she was trying to push her horn closer to Chrysalis
"You will never win you pathetic pony!" Queen Chrysalis yelled laughing after
"SHUT UP!" Twilight blasted Queen Chrysalis with her magic and Chrysalis flew back to Twilight's throne and she got up seeing Twilight charging at her.
She quickly got up and she bucked Twilight backwards and they shot magic back and fourth at eachother, the castle getting destroyed by the magic. Twilight stopped to look at the scenery, tears welding in her eyes as the memories are being destroyed one by one. Queen Chrysalis took the advantage and she blasted Twilight with her magic making Twilight fly backwards. Twilight hits the wall motionless but soon after wakes up to see chrysalis looking down at her.
"Looks like you failed...Princess Twilight" Queen Chrysalis laughs as Twilight speaks
"You........f-forgot one t-thing C-Chrysalis....." Twilight coughed while she spoke with blood coming out of her mouth
"What would that be!" Chrysalis roared
"My army and yours" Twilight used a spell and Chrysalis's army turned into a much more golden color, Chrysalis turned around and saw Twilight's army and her Changelings ready for the attack and Chrysalis grabbed Twilight.
"One more step and Twilight dies!" Chrysalis yelled choking Twilight
"S-S-S-TOP!" Twilight said trying to get air
"YOU WILL DIE PRIN-" Chrysalis was cut off by Rainbow stabbing her back going and piercing her heart she dropped Twilight and dropped dead.
Rainbow rushed to Twilight and held her in her hoofs, she cried as Twilight was motionless. Rainbow held her tight and a tear went down her face landing on Twilight's horn. Nothing......Twilight is dead......
Rainbow dash took Twilight to the hospital because she still had hope that Twilight was still alive...but after a few hours they still didn't get an answer from Twilight. The tear that landed on Twilight's horn made her horn glow. Rainbow stood back and watched as Twilight's body floated from the hospital bed and blinding light covered the room. The next thing rainbow saw was twilight standing in front of her and Twilight kissed her.
"I love you rainbow and i will never leave you" Twilight said tearing up as she kissed her again
The next thing twilight knew was Rainbow tackled her to the ground with a deep kiss and Twilight comforted her crying friend.
They all had a memorial for all the troops in her army that were K.I.A (killed in action) including Flash Sentry. Twilight walked up to his grave and it read:
Flash Sentry: Died fighting for Equestria and his Princesses
Twilight smiled and saluted at his grave.
"You did good Flash....you did good..." Twilight said walking away from his grave after putting down a flower and walked to Ponyville to help out cleaning it up.....
It has been three weeks since Chrysalis's defeat and flash's death. Twilight woke up in her castle that was getting rebuilt, the construction ponies were almost done with everything and Twilight walked out of her room and out the doors of the castle. She had planned to have a picnic with her friends and she got her picnic basket just in case they didn't bring one. She walked out of her castle and walked to Sweet Apple Acres for their picnic; while she was walking she had a slight pain in her head since after the war ended.
When she got there she smiled and layed down the basket and greeted them all.
"Hey girls!" Twilight smiled laying down trying not to show that she feels the pain
"Heya Twilight" Applejack smiled and looked down at the food
"Hello darling" Rarity smiled combing her hair
"Hi Twi" Fluttershy smiled biting into her sandwich
"Hey Twi!" Rainbow dash landed next to Twilight nuzzling her
"HITWILIGHTTHANKSFORBRINGINGFOODWEDIDN'THAVEANYYOUSOAWES-" Pinkie Pie was cut off by Applejack
"Well, girls i have something to tell you. During the war Rainbow and I we.....we.." Twilight looked down while Rainbow was comforting her
"What, sugarcube, say it" Applejack said smiling
"...kissed..." Twilight said looking down
Twilight's friends except for Rainbow looked at her in disgust. Twilight got up and looked at them.
"What?" Twilight looked at them confused
"How can you kiss Rainbow!" The four looked at Twilight and Rainbow
"BECAUSE I LOVE HER AND SHE IS ALSO MY MAREFREIND!!" Twilight went into her fire form and the pain in her head got very worse and she landed back onto the ground and fainted
"TWILIGHT!?!" Rainbow picked up Twilight and flew her to the hospital
At the hospital the doctors put twilight into a medical bed and Rainbow waited to be able to enter. She was told she will be in to see Twilight very soon around thirty minutes.
Thirty minutes later a doctor comes out and Rainbow walks in seeing Twilight sitting up and reading the latest daring do book. Rainbow smiles and walks next to Twilight and looks at the book.
"I see you reading Daring Do" Rainbow smiles nuzzling Twilight
"Not really I just opened it so we both can read it" Twilight smiled kissing Rainbow's chin
"Twi you know not to do that..." Rainbow said smiling closing her eyes laying next to Twilight
"You mean like this" Twilight nibbles and kisses Rainbow's neck
"T-Twi S-Stop" Rainbow smiles pushing Twilight away and their friends are their watching them
Both Rainbow and Twilight look at them and they see all of the rest of the mane 6 looking at them with disgust. Twilight turns to Rainbow and kisses her again and Rainbow's eyes widen, then she turns her eyes to her friends and they walk out leaving the two in the room.
Applejack, Rarity, Pinkie and Fluttershy enter the waiting room looking at the floor.
"I think it's a good thing Twilight and Rainbow are happy" Fluttershy says walking to Twilight and Rainbow
"I agree with flutters" Pinkie smiles and hops with her leaving Applejack and Rarity
"Darling I think we should join them" Rarity says smiles laying a hoof on Applejacks back
"Yur right Rarity" Applejack and Rarity smile and walk to the room and apologize for their behavior and they check Twilight out of the hospital and they all head home, but Rainbow suggested to take Twilight home. Twilight and Rainbow enters Twilight's room and they both lay down in the bed and Twilight kisses Rainbow's neck. Rainbow smiles and pulls Twilight closer to her.
"Twi?" Rainbow looks at her
"Yeah Rainbow?" Twilight looks at Rainbow and smiles
"How much do you love me?" Rainbow asks smiling
"I love you very much plus I got a new nickname for you" Twilight smiles kissing her nose
"R-really?" Rainbow smiles blushing a little
"Yeah 'skittles' " Twilight smiles seeing Rainbow's face got beat red. Celestia rushes to Twilight's castle and knock on the door. Twilight opens the door of her bedroom.
"Princess what are you doing here?" Twilight asked confused
"King sombra unleashed his army on the Crystal empire and took it over!" Princess Celestia said very worried
I have been busy with school that I haven't been really active on fimfiction. I am sorry and I wanted some time to figure out if I am going to make a sequel to The Princesses Army. I now have finally decided that I will be making the first chapter soon.
