Everypony knew about Fluttershy's family: Her mother Mrs. Shy, her father Mr. Shy, and her brother Zephyr Breeze. But what if they never know that she actually had a sister?It was a secret only the caretaker and her family knew, but now it was about to come back to the light.
For many years, Poison Rose remained hidden in her sister's mind, coming out only for brief periods to make her sister look a bit out of character. Now, she has found a way to regain total control of the Pegasus. With a somewhat completely different half controlling their friend, can Twilight and the gang save both sisters?
Nighttime in Ponyville. It is a sight which one may consider calming. Many thought the only one who has felt lonely was Princess Luna because she always thought her sister always had more attention. They didn’t know that Luna had already come to feel her nights do have meaning by one creature. Ever since Bunny showed her to the soul of her dead friend Snowdrop, things have become calming again for the Alicorn. It even helped that Bunny still tends to fly into the night when she couldn’t sleep. Tonight, Bunny has been asleep, but she doesn’t know what was going on in Fluttershy’s mind. Particularly in her dreams.
Fluttershy knew she was already asleep, but she felt like she was elsewhere. She saw that she was in a dark room, with nopony around.
“Hello is anypony there?” she called out. Nopony was there to respond; all she heard were echoes of her own voice. Atleast until she heard a reply, but it almost sounded like it was her own voice.
“Hello, my little sister”
Fluttershy flinched; she knew that voice anywhere. It can’t be, she thought. I know she died a long time ago
She turned around, and saw the source of the voice. What surprised her most was that…the figure…it looked just like her! From head to tail, it looked to be an exact replica of Fluttershy. The only difference was the cutie mark, which confirmed her suspicions: a rose with a single drop of blood sliding down the stem.
“Po-Poison Rose?! How can this be?! You can’t be here! I saw you die before my own eyes! I…I was the one who buried you…”
“Oh, but I am here. And I remember you all too clearly…” the last word sent shivers down Fluttershy’s spine. “…sister”
Fluttershy now believed it; her elder sister, her elder dead sister was right infront of her! “I’m sorry I wasn’t able to save you…I…”
Poison Rose shushed her sister with hoof. “Don’t worry, everything will be over soon”. Right then, she lifted her hoof again and proceeded to try and touch her sister’s head. “I’ll take your worries away”
“No, I…” but before she could finish her sentence, Poison Rose made contact with her.
Fluttershy’s eyes glowed, and turned dead. “Shhh”
“Yes, that’s good. Obey” Poison Rose said as her sister succumbed to her control. “That’s a good sister”
Fluttershy began to turn limp, and fell to the ground. “Don’t worry, I’ll make your oppressors suffer whilst you stay here and sleep”
The elder twin grinned; her twin’s cutie mark was already fading.
Outside, even asleep, Bunny already felt uneasy. It meant one of her friends was in danger.
Bunny was being frightened by the Vision she was having; she knew it meant something bad was gonna happen. She saw what looked like another Fluttershy inside Fluttershy, a mirror, a pile of rumble that was once a house, and a small box.
Immediately, she woke up from fright, all pale. “Fluttershy, something’s coming”
“What was that, Bunny?” Fluttershy called out to her apprentice. The mare stood in the doorway, a bowl of carrots in her hoof.
Bunny shook off the feeling. “N-nothing! I…I just had a Vision”
Fluttershy set the bowl down infront of her apprentice. “Really? What did you see?”
Bunny tried to recall what she saw, though the slight thought of it always gave her a shiver. “Something bad”
“Oh, I’m pretty sure it will be alright. Now eat your breakfast, we have a busy day ahead of us”
Bunny was confused for a moment. That was when Fluttershy hummed a small tune into her ear. At first, Bunny’s sight flashed red and back to normal. But she wasn’t affected.
Nonetheless, she decided to play along. “Fine”, saying so, she proceeded to eat her breakfast.

“Oh, but I’m pretty sure you’ll like it. You’ll see” Fluttershy’s voice echoed along the corridor.
Bunny had already finished her breakfast when she heard what sounded like Fluttershy talking to herself. Thinking it was just one of her fits, she walked down the stairs in silence to investigate. When she saw what was going on, her pupils shrunk.
There, infront of the mirror, sat Fluttershy. But she saw something else; the reflection seemed to not be in sync like her. But what she said horrified the alien.
“I hope you’ve missed me, Equestria” her eyes then opened, she herself grinned but her reflection seemed to be in shock. “Because now I’m back”
Bunny ran back upstairs, or floated for that matter. She went back into her room and slowly closed it.
“That can’t be real…I must be just imagining”
Her day had just begun

“Oh Angel, please just be a good rabbit and eat your salad” Fluttershy begged. But her pet rabbit only looked at her with scorn.
Bunny always expected this to happen.
Fluttershy then approached her pet. “Oh, I’m sorry. I guess I forgot to sing your favorite song before you eat”
Angel looked at her with a confused look. But the mare had already hummed the same tune in his ear. Bunny sensed from afar that he saw the same flashing of red in sight. But she felt something else; almost as though Angel was being brainwashed. She was about to dismiss her feeling, but then…the strange happened.
Angel ate the salad.

“Fluttershy, are you feeling well today?” Bunny asked as she was dragged along by her friend via leash.
“Why yes, I’m fine, Bunny. Why are you asking?” the mare replied.
“Because I did notice that you seem to act a little…different lately”
“Well, like my sister always told me ‘a little sleep and you feel better’”
“I don’t get it”
Fluttershy looked a little annoyed at first. But then, that was when they heard what sounded like screaming. Screams for help. Both knew who’s it was; Twilight’s! Bunny followed the sound, which led to an alley.
“Twilight? Oh my Celestia!” Fluttershy cried when she saw her marefriend. There, right infront of her, was Twilight. But she was being strangled by Iron Will, who had his two goat bodyguards with him.
“Ah! Fluttershy, the little doormat who got away from paying, how nice to see you again! I expected you here on such short notice when your lover began screaming for help” Iron Will said, he slowly released his grip on Twilight. It was just enough to allow her to breath.
“It’s okay Twilight, we’ll get you out. Iron Will, why are you doing this? And why Twilight?!”
“Why, because I want that you pay me for my lessons. And I decided to lure you here by the screams of, no other than, the one you love!”
“You said that one will only pay if satisfied, I wasn’t satisfied!”
“It’s true; your lessons only turned her into a monster!” Bunny joined in.
“And I see you also brought the little rabbit apprentice that the princess casted a spell on in order for her to talk”
“Leave Twilight and Bunny out of this! This is between you and me!”
“I doubt it. As a matter of fact, goats!”
The goats then went up to Fluttershy, but they were aiming for Bunny. The little apprentice just growled at them.
Fluttershy didn’t know what to do. "Don't you dare lay a hoof on her!"
"As you wish then." Iron Will squeezed Twilight’s neck. This time it wasn't a squeak that escaped her lips but a scream. She howled in agony and she couldn't but wonder if this were the type of pain she'd helped Fluttershy face recently.
"Stop it!" Fluttershy screamed. She was crying again, but there was no joy behind those tears. Iron Will only responded by laughing.
Want my help? Poison Rose chimed in.
No! Fluttershy screamed back.
He's going to kill Twilight, Fluttershy!
Oh no he's not.
Not if you let me help. Open yourself to me and I can end all of this. Her voice was layered with honey again as it had before.
Fluttershy couldn't focus on Twilight's screams and on Poison Rose at once. Nor was she able to hear Bunny’s growling at the goat bodyguards. She was overwhelmed and the situation wasn't helping her fight off Poison Rose at all.
I can't trust you! Fluttershy screamed internally.
You don't have a choice! Besides, I’m your sister!
Then something happened that settled the deal. In mid-air between her screams Twilight opened her eyes and turned her head to Fluttershy. She whispered softly "Help me..." It was like reliving that night, only with reversed roles. When Fluttershy felt as though she were going to die of sadness of how they thought Pinkie killed Bunny. Twilight had saved her and now when Twilight is the one who needed help Fluttershy was powerless.
Fine, just give Bunny the command; don’t let him hurt Twilight.
Her heart broke and she felt as though she died right there. Her emotions shut off and she retreated into the darkness of her mind. She let go and gave Poison Rose control. Immediately, her cutie mark became the combination of hers and Fluttershy’s. Poison Rose faced up to the menace, no fear in her eyes.
“Bunny…” she called, imitating her sister’s tone. The alien turned her attention. “It’s time to attack!”
The alien didn’t hesitate; she stopped from mere growling to already biting. The goats scrambled for a hiding place, but it was too late. Iron Will tried to stop the rabbit from going crazy, but Poison Rose already kicked him in the face. That caused him to drop Twilight. It happened all too fast. Bunny was going nuts while Poison Rose repeatedly attacked Iron Will. Eventually, he gave up and ran away, along with his two injured goats.
“And if you even think about hurting us again, I’M GONNA TEAR YOU LIMB FROM LIMB!” Poison Rose shouted.
Bunny shook her head as though she woke up from a dream. “Remind me to never do that again”
Poison Rose then turned her attention to Twilight. I have to pretend to be my sister
The Pegasus then rushed towards Twilight, faking care. “Oh, Twilight. My dearest, are you okay?”
“I’m fine, just a little bruise” she stopped. “Hang on; did you just call me ‘dearest’?”
“Why? You don’t like it?”
“SLEEP!” Bunny shouted in Poison Rose’s ear, which caused the mare to black out.
“Bunny, what did you do that for?” Twilight asked.
“Bunny, what was that about?! Why did you make Fluttershy…?” Twilight rambled as she and the alien ran to the caretaker’s cottage.
“That’s not Fluttershy anymore!”
“What?! What are you saying?!”
“I’ll show you!” Bunny yelled before she opened the door. Inside, Angel was standing as stiff as a statue…and wearing a butler outfit! Bunny then ran up to the rabbit and Spell Screamed in his ear! Right after, he hit the wall and the alien used Translate on him
“Ow…what was that for? Hang on, am I in a butler outfit?!” he asked.
“What the hay is going on?!” Twilight now demanded an answer.
“Twilight, Fluttershy’s body has been taken over” Bunny began. “You see, I didn’t want to be delusional but, when I saw the signs in her behavior, I knew something was going on. But I didn’t know what exactly until now”
“What do you mean? Who took over her body, and why? What were the signs?”
“Fluttershy has been taken over by her sister, Poison Rose”
“Poison Rose?! But, she told me her sister’s dead…she only had her brother, mother, and father”
Bunny nodded. “I don’t know why but I was able to tell from the signs. When I was greeted by her, she tried to get me and Angel to eat a salad. She did this by humming an odd tune in our ears. It didn’t work on me, but it did on Angel. I just pretended that it worked. Then, I saw her talking to her reflection. She said, ‘I hope you missed me, Equestria, because now I’m back’. I did notice however that when she hummed it in my ear, my vision flashed red and normal”
“Well, that would explain the butler suit”
“Come to think of it, did you notice her cutie mark? It was a butterfly with a rose head, dripping in blood”
“But, Poison Rose loved her sister. Why would she do this?” Twilight’s voice sounded upset. “She took over Fluttershy! My Fluttershy!”
“We’ll get her back, I promise” Bunny hugged Twilight in an effort to comfort her.
“Oh, such pity for my sister” a voice said. “But don’t worry, I made sure she isn’t watching any of this; she’s sleeping”
Twilight and Bunny stood there, for a moment. Infront of them was the mare that used to be Fluttershy. This was Fluttershy’s body, but it was being controlled by a sibling that should’ve been dead years ago. Poison Rose stood, fearless and calm. Bunny, giving way to her part-animal instincts, pretended to growl like a dog. Twilight was afraid.
“Aw, Bunny, my apprentice” she imitated Fluttershy’s tone. “Why do you growl at me like that?”
The alien continued to growl, but now she was really mad.
Twilight however, chose to be the begging one. “Please…whatever you did to Fluttershy…let her go…please”
Poison Rose chuckled. “Oh, but Twilight darling, whatever made you think I would hurt my own sister? No, she’s perfectly safe, asleep in the deepest part of her mind”
“If you weren’t her sister, I’d…I’d…I’d…” Bunny lifted a paw, clenched into a fist to show her anger.
“Come, come, now Bunny. Remember, I may be in control of this body, but it still has Fluttershy in it. You kill me now, she dies too”
Bunny’s eyes widened; she wanted to stop Poison Rose, but not hurt Fluttershy in the process. She now looked down, sad. “Okay, I won’t attack now. But the least you can do is give us answers, Poison Rose”
“Poison Rose” she tuned at her name. “Now, it would be exhausting if you call me that all the time. You give each other nicknames. Twilight is called Twily, Bunny is Bun, why not call me just Rose?”
“Fine, Rose!”
“Good girl” Rose pet Bunny like a dog, to which she growled inwardly. “Well, for that, I’ll provide you information about how am I here. Sit down, it’s one long story”

A birth has been done, in Surtensia…
“Mr. and Mrs. Shy, congratulations. They are fillies” the nurse said as she handed over two bundles.
In Mrs. Shy’s hooves, she held a bundle that contained not one but two newborn fillies. Both looked exactly the same; they both had a pink mane and tail, a yellow body, and closed cerulean eyes. “Meet your new little daughters, Poison Rose and Fluttershy” Mrs. Shy said to her husband, showing the newborns in the bundle.
4 years later…
The family had been getting to know the twins better, even noticing that despite the fact that they look exactly the same, they each had a different personality. Poison Rose was a brave filly who already learned to fly, her sister was afraid of falling. But after a while, under Poison Rose’s protection and assurance, she finally was able to fly. But even though she could do so, she still was unable to stay up in the air for even second. But that didn’t stop her sister; she was always there for her, even though Fluttershy was afraid of heights.
“It’s okay, one day you’ll get it” Poison Rose would say. Fluttershy would smile.
2 years followed…
The twins were sent to school, but everypony kept teasing Fluttershy to pieces because of the blank flank. Poison Rose didn’t like what they were doing.
“Hey! That is not how you treat my sister!” she shouted.
“Well, lookie here” the ringleader said. “The shy filly has a sister…what are you gonna do? Cute us to death?” The group laughed.
Poison Rose lost it; she grabbed him with her hoof by the mouth, causing them all to stop. “Listen up: My sis may be like this, but you better not hurt her or I’ll do far worse the next time”
She let his mouth go, and they all ran away.
Poison Rose turned to her sister. “Don’t worry; I’ll make sure they don’t get to hurt you again”
Three days later…
Poison Rose had gotten her cutie mark: a rose with a single drop of blood sliding down the stem. Nonetheless, she would never leave behind her sister. Fluttershy’s condition only worsened with each fear.
Mr. Shy was a knight before, very brave. He had to leave the house to fight in order to protect Surtensia. There was a war between the inhabitant ponies and griffins that time.
Mrs. Shy had been doing her best to ensure things were well in the family. Zephyr Breeze was born soon after, and never missed a chance to snuggle with his two sisters, and mother.
1 year later…
It’s been harder now; no…it’s the hardest time of their lives now. One day they were all happy and frolicking, the next day they are running for their lives. This was when it was now an official war between ponies and griffins, and it was fierce. At one point, while they were going back home, a griffin had cornered Poison Rose and Fluttershy. It almost hurt Fluttershy when Poison Rose attacked it. To get it to stop, she used The Stare. It scared the griffin pretty well, so it ran away. Safe, the fillies hurried home.
1 week passed…
They couldn’t take it anymore! Poison Rose and Fluttershy were sent to search for a safe place to stay. It was pretty painful. It was even worse that it was a stormy night, but they pushed on. Soon, they came across what looked like a small house. They were about to go and seek shelter when a bolt of lightning hit them both, causing a chain reaction. This strike didn’t kill them, it caused something else. Little by little, they felt like their souls were being fused together, until they were finally one. One had to be its main controller, so Poison Rose let Fluttershy control it
Morning…
Fluttershy woke up all groggy, feeling a little weird from the lightning’s aftermath. But when her vision was no longer blurry, she discovered she was in a cage. She then realized something: her sister wasn’t with her. When she looked from the bars of the cage, all she saw were a group of scientists. One of them, probably the lead director, had only one thing to say to her.
“Welcome aboard, Experiment 5142”
2 weeks later…
Fluttershy had already been through enough torture, including what the scientists have been experimenting on her. She’s had a rough family life, she was bullied, and now to top it all off she’s being used for experimentations and has lost her sister. She couldn’t take it anymore, she was about to give up seeing her again when…
Oh, don’t cry me now, sis.
Fluttershy flinched at that voice. “Poison Rose?”
Who else would it be?
“But, how come I can hear you but can’t see you?”
The lightning bolt, remember? Look at your cutie mark
Fluttershy was curious at first, but she obeyed. When she saw her flank, she gasped at what she saw. Her cutie mark was the same as her sister’s.
Yes, I’m in you now. We are one
“But, does this mean I won’t be able to see you anymore? I already miss you”
Sis, I’m in you, but that doesn’t mean you won’t be able to see me. When you want to, just look into a mirror. If you see it move when it doesn’t copy your movement, know that it is me
Fluttershy hesitated at first, but after thinking it over, she smiled. Anything to be with her sister again
3 weeks later…
She can’t take it anymore! Fluttershy has got to escape this facility! She’s had it with the torment inflicted by the scientists. They pulled out her eyes, changed her cutie mark several times and back, and to top it off, they hacked off her wings! It was harder for them to move around even if they were allowed to freely move the lab because she was now blind. Except this one time, they had help from one of the other experiments to move by leading them by hoof. Oddly enough, their hoof felt furry. They didn’t know the name of the experiment but they knew its number name, 5147. Eventually, the bond between them grew and 5147 helped them escape.
But, when they ran to their old house, it was all in rumbles. Everything from their home, it was all destroyed. They can only just guess that their family had been long gone too. They had no idea they were still alive back then. What she found was a small necklace, the one Poison Rose wanted to give her. She took it, put the last strands of her sister’s hair in it, and closed it. Fluttershy only had one option: run. Run far away and never come back. So she did. She left behind everything: home, family, memories, all that was left was her sister.
Eventually, at sunrise, she found her way to Cloudsdale. Before the sun rose, she grew new wings, new eyes, and her flank was again blank. All she had to remind her of the past was her memories, and her sister in the reflection. What she had left of her sister was the necklace, containing her strands of hair.

Poison Rose just sat there, wiping a small tear off her face. Bunny didn’t want to, but she blew in a handkerchief anyway; despite her anger, she’s quite the softy! Twilight slightly cried, but was also thinking.
“Of course, the reason how Fluttershy got my hair strands was because she found the remains of my dead body in the lab. She didn’t like the rest of it kept into a jar, so she gave me a proper burial in somewhere in the Everfree Forest. I had to make her think I was gone forever after she buried my body in order to lessen the pain” Rose finished.
“But, how did you take over Fluttershy?” Twilight asked after drying her eyes.
“Well, that was easy. I simply had a little talk with her in her dreams last night, and when I touched her little head with my hoof, poof! She was half under my control. But then again, before I was in full control, I was just letting her be her, but with some of my abilities. Although I managed to get Angel under my song spell, I don’t know how Bunny not succumbed. But it was really you, Twilight, who allowed me to get into her head. She loves you so much to the point that she would give me control just to keep you alive. The moment you were being choked while Bunny was cornered, I spew out some words about saving you and she loses it! Although, it was really painful when you screamed me to sleep back after, Bunny”
“Your singing doesn’t work on me” Bunny declared. But then she turned her attention to Twilight. The poor Alicorn couldn’t help thinking it was her fault that her marefriend was gone. If she tried to use magic or a threat, the mare she knew would be the one standing before her. If she fought hard or gave Bunny a command, Fluttershy would be fine. And, if she probably decided to stay with Fluttershy last night, Poison Rose wouldn’t have gotten half control in the first place.
“It’s my entire fault” Twilight said. Rose and Bunny looked at her, confused. “It’s my entire fault that Fluttershy’s gone. If I didn’t hesitate to give Bunny the go to attack, she would have stopped Iron Will and Fluttershy would not have opened her mind to you. But, I did the opposite; and now she’s gone”
Bunny looked down. She knew it was her fault too since she was waiting for an attack signal.
Rose looked plain. “Well, technically, she’s not really gone””
“Yeah, I keep mentioning that. You see, I took over this body to make those who abused her suffer. But, there will still also be a way in which you could free her from this and allow me to pass on”
“Pass on?”
“Oppressors?”
“Exactly, you can deal with that. I, on the other hoof, have other plans” saying so, Rose opened the door. She looked around, seemingly taking in the view. Then there was a smile on her face, a grin actually. She had a lot of plans, many targeting every single pony that made Fluttershy a doormat. She glanced at her cutie mark; the part with Fluttershy was beginning to fade. Poison Rose can just picture what would it be once the transition is complete; Fluttershy will take her place in death as she will pose as her for the rest of her life. The only thing different about her living, is that she will be the opposite of Fluttershy.
“I guess I’ll start with either that Minotaur or her friends”
Twilight and Bunny could only look on as the mare flew off into the sky.
“She’s gonna start causing much trouble, Bunny”
“Not if I can help it! Twilight, you need to come with me. I might have something that can help us get our Fluttershy back now come on!”
The Alicorn had no choice; she followed the alien into the cottage.

“Let’s see. “Double personality”…”Dreams and Contacts”…”Vampirics”…” Bunny read aloud the labels of the books as she scoured through the shelves of her hidden room. Twilight just watched around the room. It had more books than there were in her library. Bunny even told her that these copies are just a fraction of the libraries back at her home planet. If these were just a fraction, then how much could they be if they are all together? But there was no time to think about books; she had to get her marefriend back!
“Ah! Finally I found it! “Freeing Haunting Souls”!” Bunny exclaimed when she finally found the book. She laid the book on her desk, flipped through the pages, and finally, she found a spell.
“Okay, here it is. I’m gonna need something that contains Poison Rose’s and Fluttershy’s DNA. For Fluttershy’s, we better get the hair from her hairbrush”
“What about Poison Rose?”
“She said it herself; the necklace has a few of her own hair strands. I can open it to get the remains. There’s something else we need: a strike of lightning to unmerge them”
“Well, we can get Rainbow Dash for that and…wait what?!”
“Hey, a lightning strike merged them then a lightning strike can unmerge them. Besides, it’s written right here, “To fully unmerge two souls, get a sample of each of their DNA and when you chant the spell, use what caused the merge to happen again to fully separate both from each other””
“But,” Twilight felt fear. “Won’t that kill her?”
“I don’t know, but this is the only one I have here. But what would you rather have, Twilight? Poison Rose impersonating Fluttershy for the rest of her life, or for them to finally be at peace with each other?”
Twilight looked down sadly. She does want Fluttershy back and Poison Rose to stop causing chaos, but she is hesitant to risk Fluttershy’s own life in the process. But then she remembered how Fluttershy decided to risk her own control just for her. But Twilight knew that if she really loved her, she has to risk letting her go.
She sighed. “Okay, let’s go find Dash”
Right then, and ironically, Rainbow Dash just crashed through the wall, leaving behind a pile of rubble. But not a second passed when the rubble began to move and put themselves back together in the wall. All that was left from the aftermath was a Rainbow Dash with her face flat on the floor, she looked really hurt.
“Won’t have to; she’s already here” Spike came inside. He had a black eye and a cast on his left arm.
“Spike! Rainbow Dash! What happened to you?!” Twilight and Bunny screamed simultaneously.
“I was on my way to Sugarcube Corner when I bumped into Fluttershy. I wanted to greet her, but she grabbed me by the mouth and began to beat me up. When I asked her what she was doing and why, she just told this was what I get for laughing when she had the voice of “Flutterguy””
“And then I flew to Ponyville and spotted them. I tried to stop the fight by sneaking behind her by surprise but right when I said, “Boo!” to normally scare her, she grabbed me by my neck and left Spike to face me. I tried to convince myself that this was just a joke and that she’s only messing around, but she showed no mercy. She said that this was what I get for always snubbing her off. Eventually, she saw Mr.Greenhooves overwatering her petunias and just finished me off by throwing me here. I guess Spike followed me after bandaging himself. Ow! It hurts!”
“Guys, that wasn’t Fluttershy” Twilight said.
“What do you mean? If it wasn’t Fluttershy then who was it?” Rainbow asked, then looked around as though checking to see if she was anywhere in sight. “Please tell me she didn’t hear that”
“That was Poison Rose, Fluttershy’s long-dead twin sister. She took over Fluttershy just today” Bunny said in reply.
“Wait, that was who?!” Rainbow and Spike exclaimed together.
“Guess we got explaining to do”

“Okay! Okay! One bit for cherry!” one of the ponies selling cherries wailed as Poison Rose nodded, with a promise to do it again if he ever does that again. She clearly remembered him from the time Fluttershy needed to buy a cherry but he kept saying he should pay ten bits. Poison Rose had finally finished her work with all the ponies who tricked Fluttershy in the whole market, even dealing with the mailman! She flew off to deal with her next targets.
And there they were!
“Ah! Iron Will and his pesky little goats! Time to finish my business with them”

“And then that was when you got here. Understand now?” Twilight finished.
“Yeah, so let me get this straight” Rainbow got up, although her hooves were a bit wobbly. “Fluttershy’s sister is in control of her body and what we have to do now is find samples of their hair and you need me to get a cloud with lightning to bash Poison Rose down to where she was supposed to go to?”
“Yes, and we better hurry before Fluttershy’s part in the combo cutie mark fades away completely. And I don’t wanna risk another Exorcism again!”
“Okay, but how do expect us to do that with the state she just put us through?”
“Curare!” Bunny chanted. And immediately, they were healed.
“And just in time too!” Angel said, hopping in with a hairbrush. “This is Fluttershy’s, now go find the necklace!”
“Wait, I thought you had it!”
“Wait, did it happen to look like it had her cutie mark and Poison Rose’s on it?” Spike asked.
“Yes, why?”
“Because I caught sight of it, on her neck; she was wearing it”
“And don’t you ever do that again, or it will be your last!” Poison Rose shouted as Iron Will and his goat bodyguards ran away, all bruised and practically traumatized. The mare chuckled to herself. When she glanced at her cutie mark, her day got even better; the antennae on the mark completely faded.
It won’t be long now, she thought to herself. Soon, my sister can finally find peace and I can show that the last member of our bloodline is not to be messed with. After all, I have the most potent ingredient needed to make me go away.
She was about to fly away again, but…
“This is what you get for beating me up!” somepony yelled. Before Poison Rose could react, Rainbow Dash struck her with a little lightning. Poison Rose felt it surge through her body; the pain, the energy, even the memory in which she was merged with her sister. She was hurt a lot, but she didn’t die.
“Rainbow, I said to use it when I perform the spell, not before! You better hope she’s still alive or we lose Fluttershy too! I told you to get the necklace!” Bunny yelled.
“Speaking of which, is she okay?” Twilight asked frantically.
Poison rose shook it off.
“I’M BETTER THAN OKAY!” she yelled.
Spike’s jaw dropped. “How…how did you survive that?!”
“I’ve been electrocuted with lightning once; it doesn’t work on me now!”
“Maybe if its plain lighting, but I know what type you are afraid of” Bunny smirked.
Poison Rose smirked back; she loved a good challenge. She waved the necklace on her neck. “Do you want it? Come and get it!”
“Get her, Rainbow!”
Dash didn’t wait for another word; she began to fly after Poison Rose. She thought she could get her within a split second; after all, she is the fastest flier. And she flew fast enough to make the Sonic Rainboom, so how much faster or harder will it be to catch an ordinary Pegasus that only began to fly again after nearly two decades? But just when she was within range, Poison Rose flew even faster. Rainbow was slightly dazed, but she shook it off since she didn’t back down. She kept trying to catch up with her; but every time she did, Poison Rose found a way to sprint even faster. She guessed that maybe she was flying in Fluttershy’s head, so when she took control, she became so built up on so much power. Especially since Fluttershy is a Pegasus afraid of heights, so she’s using all of her sister’s reserves. Eventually, Rainbow was flying so fast that she made a Sonic Rainboom. Bunny, Twilight and Spike had to cling onto the ground in order to avoid getting swept away. Poison Rose, of course, wasn’t so lucky for being in the air at that time. Even though she was strong at flying, she was still helpless when the boom caused her to slam herself into a tree.
Poison Rose was still active, and very angry now. She was now planning on making things worse by breaking the necklace, atleast that will make sure she has Fluttershy’s body for good. She reached up to her neck, but to her surprise she didn’t feel it.
“Hey, Rose! Looking for this?”
Poison Rose turned her head around. The necklace was with Rainbow Dash, waved like some sort of toy. Rainbow then flew to Bunny, and dropped the ornament in Bunny’s paw. The mare could only look on in horror.
“Well, Rose, now that we’ve got your weakness, it’s time for you to go”
The mare wasn’t done yet, she flew away faster than before into the nearby trees.
Spike looked up at the sky. “It’s getting late; we have to hurry”
Poison Rose flew faster than ever. She didn’t want to hurt her sister, nor did she want to go silently. No, this was her start of life and she isn’t going to waste it. It was finally nighttime and she was in the center of the Everfree Forest. Hopeful that she finally got away from the ones who were chasing her, she set herself down on a boulder to rest. When it’s midnight, she will have full control of her sister’s body at last whilst Fluttershy herself will finally pass on. She was about to relax when something caught her eye.
It was Rarity; she was a few feet away from the border of the Everfree Forest.
The jealous mare who tries to mess with the lovelife of my sister, she thought. It’s time I taught you a lesson, dressmaker.
Poison Rose flew effortlessly off the boulder and crept in the bushes. She moved very steady like a cat. She made sure that before she stepped, there was nothing that will cause noise when she stepped. She was now sure she was in range of where her prey was. But when she looked out the bush, nopony was there.
Dang! She must’ve gotten away!
“Oh! Good evening, Fluttershy!” Rarity greeted from out of nowhere.
This surprised Poison Rose so much that she flew out of the bush and infront of the Unicorn.
“Oh, I’m so sorry, darling! I guess I frightened you, didn’t I? I’m so sorry”
“No worries”
“Good, anyway I was…” Rarity’s sentence was cut short when Poison Rose pushed her to the tree. The Unicorn tried to break free, but the Pegasus was stronger. She felt her friend’s breathing, but also noticed something else.
Fluttershy’s eyes; they switched from cerulean to red and back.
Rarity tried to pretend it was all a joke. “You got me good there, darling. I guess Rainbow and Pinkie taught you pretty well for a begin…”
“I’m not joking, Rarity!” she growled to prove her point.
“But Fluttershy, you’re my best friend. You wouldn’t hurt old Rarity, would you?”
“Best friend, eh? A real best friend would never want to try to steal her bestie’s lover from her”
“Wait, how do you…?”
“So it is true!” Poison Rose yelled. Her anger was now at its fullest.
“Fluttershy, please! I won’t do it again, I promise!”
Poison Rose didn’t listen; she pulled out a knife from her wing. “Fluttershy is no more”
She was about to plunge the weapon in, when something caught her. She looked to see it was an aura.
“But she is still here!” Bunny cried.
Twilight dragged Poison Rose away from Rarity, leaving the Unicorn all in a daze. When she recovered her senses, she had to ask. “What is going on here?!”
“Whatever she did to you, Rarity, that’s Fluttershy’s twin sister Poison Rose. She took over Fluttershy last night, now we are about to send her back to the dead for good” Spike said.
Bunny set all pieces that she need around the Pegasus. Rainbow Dash was right above Poison Rose with a cloud full of thunder. The page ready and she spell all set, she began. “On a count to three, every pony”
“One…” Rainbow was all set to kick the cloud.
“…two…” Twilight was ready to drop Poison Rose.
“…three!” Then it all happened at the same time. Twilight let Poison Rose go, Rainbow struck her with lightning, and Bunny began her chant.

As Bunny chanted, the locket from the necklace opened, letting out a piece of Poison Rose’s DNA whilst a hair from Fluttershy’s comb floated as well. Both from each combined as one, and slowly, began to split. Poison Rose felt the same happening as well; her soul was separating from her sister’s body. Her parts in the combo cutie mark was fading, her sister’s was coming back. Little by little, the small threads connecting her soul to her sister’s was snapping. Then, she was atlast fully removed.
Rainbow Dash stopped the lightning. Bunny stopped her chanting and fell to the ground, panting and worn out. Fluttershy’s body slowly fell to the ground as well, leaving the soul of Poison Rose in midair. Spike hurried over to Bunny while Twilight went over to Fluttershy. Bunny recovered quickly, though Fluttershy was still unconscious.
“Fluttershy?” Twilight tried to call out, shaking the mare. Her body just shook back and forth. “Fluttershy, please! Wake up! Can you hear me?” she cried in desperation. Has the lightning been too much for her? Did she die in the process? Did Poison Rose use up all her life energy? Twilight didn’t want to lose her marefriend. The mere thought of it sent her to tears. And just when she was about to give up…
“Twi…Twilight?”
The Alicorn flinched at that sound. She looked down to see the Fluttershy was beginning to stir. She was even happier when the Pegasus opened her eyes. Fluttershy’s eyes, however, were sad. She struggled her way out of Twilight’s hug. She did like being in her lover’s grasp, of course, but she wanted to approach the soul of her sister one last time.
“I’m sorry, my sister, really I am. I don’t know what came over me” Poison Rose apologized, her face full of sorry and regret.
“It’s okay, sis. I don’t blame you”
“I trust you can do well now even without me anymore?”
“I…I guess” Fluttershy wiped her eye.
“Don’t cry me now, sis. You’ll still have my necklace as a remembrance. And you have your friends to take my place. Bunny, I trust you well with her protection. Twilight, I trust you well with her lovelife. Sis, no matter where I go, I shall always protect you”
Fluttershy was sad, but she knew she had to. Poison rose has been in her head for twenty years! It’s time to let go.
Fluttershy nodded. “I’ll never forget you, Poison Rose”
“Nor shall I, Fluttershy” Poison Rose said one last time before fading away. She closed her eyes, and passed on.
Fluttershy let out a tear, but smiled. “Find peace, my sister”
“I am really sorry for what my sister made me do, everypony. Can you ever forgive me?” Fluttershy pleaded while looking down.
“It’s okay, Fluttershy. I know you wouldn’t get that strong to break that wall and throw me”
“Yeah, I know you would never try to break my arm or give me a black eye”
“I know I may have deserved that because of how much I took you for granted”
“It’s okay, darling. I’m just glad Twilight stopped her before doing something serious”
Bunny hugged the mare. “I knew you were innocent”
Twilight approached the mare, and hugged her. “You let her control your body for me?”
“I didn’t want to lose you”
Twilight faced the mare. “Atleast she came in handy, for that one time”
“And you won’t be swindled anymore by the ponies you buy food from” Spike said.
“Or never see that that monster Iron Will ever again” Rarity chuckled.
Bunny joined in. “Besides, if you miss her someday, I got this back after the spell was done” she waved the necklace infront of the couple. “She said even if she is no longer here, you have her necklace as a remembrance so, here”
Fluttershy stared at the pedant for a while, then at Bunny. She took it from Bunny. The necklace still had the same engraved cutie marks on it. She smiled. “Thank you, Bunny”
“May I?” Twilight asked, levitating the necklace.
Fluttershy nodded.
The Pegasus turned around, lifting her mane with her hooves. Twilight levitated the necklace around her neck, brought the two ends together, and closed the clasps on each side. As she let go, so did Fluttershy.
“Thank you”
Fluttershy looked at the pendant one last time; it shimmered in the moonlight.
