Lyra Heartstrings runs for president after going into the portal to the human land. Simple as that, I suppose.
Lyra Heartstrings was a normal horse...until one day I guess she finds a portal and comes to another world much like our own...well...actually...it is our own, and she decides to run for president...well...she had already planned to anyways.
One nice morning in autumn, when the leaves are falling and everypony was hanging around outside, one horse was staying inside, reading. She was studying on her favorite subject: Humans. She yawned, as her wife walked into the room, and started preparing for the day...when she decided to strike up a conversation with her lover.
"Good morning Lyra," she said to her, as she was brushing her hair,
"Morning Bon Bon..."
Lyra was reading a book labeled "Rulers of the Human Land - All You Need to Know From Egypt to America". It was a fairly big book, Lyra looking at the America chapter, reading about a man by the name of "William Jefferson Clinton,".
"Bon Bon...I have a question for you..." Lyra started,
"Yes Lyra?" Bon Bon replied, yawning after saying it,
"How would you feel if I were president?"
"President?" Bon Bon started to look a bit confused, "You mean like Celestia and Luna?"
"No...that's a monarchy, I mean something like...um...our Mayor..."
"Oh...so you want to be a prick all the time..."
Bon Bon giggled as Lyra looked at her with a mean stare.
"No, I mean a leader who was elected by the people, for the people...someone to make the laws, someone to pass those laws, someone to be the voice of a country..."
"Well, Lyra, I guess I would be...surprised?"
"Why is that?"
"Well...you know nothing about pony law..."
"You're right...but do you know what I do know about? American law. So you know what I'm going to do?"
Bon Bon got an annoyed look on her face,
"Let me guess...you're going to go to the universe that has the so-called 'America' and run for president there..."
"You bet you're plot I am! Now...I know a portal to an alternate dimension...I need three other ponies for this, Ok?"
"Let me guess...one of them is me..."
"Correct! Now quick! We need to get the other two ponies we need, OK?"
Lyra quickly ran out the door, as Bon Bon, obviously annoyed, decided to run out...wondering why Lyra needed two other ponies at the current moment.
Lyra quickly ran down to a small house, as an orange maned, golden coated mare was outside, looking out at her garden, which looked fairly well kept together. It was a mostly carrot filled garden, as she picked a few from the ground and put some in a paper bag, when she noticed Lyra.
"Good morning Lyra, what do you need at the moment?"
"Hey...wanna go on a trip?"
"Um...what for?"
"Not enough time to explain, just hop on my back...and we need to head to Canterlot for something..."
"Strange...eh...haven't really got any plans for today, might as well..."
Bon Bon had finally gotten to where Lyra was, as she looked at Carrot Top, who was shaking hooves with Lyra.
"What's going on," Bon Bon questioned Carrot Top,
"Well...Lyra wants to go on a trip with me...kinda strange, but might as well," she replied.
"Oh boy...well...right now...let's just get the other pony we need."
"Alright..."
Meanwhile, a blonde maned pegasus was trotting down the road with a mail mare cap on, looking for mailboxes, as Lyra just happened to knock into her accidentally...
"Oh, sorry Derpy..." Lyra said, getting back up,
"Oh...it's fine, it was my fault..." Derpy said, as she got up as well,
"Hey...want to come with me on a journey across dimensions?"
"Sure, why not? I don't need to deliver this mail today anyways..."
Derpy then threw the mail into the air, all the letters falling onto her.
"Fantastic...now...TO THE PORTAL!"
"Is anyone wondering how coincidental that both the ponies you asked to go with you all have no schedule?" Bon Bon asked, looking puzzled,
"I guess it's my lucky day?" Lyra said, shrugging.
Lyra busted into a giant castle mostly made of crystal, obviously belonging to Twilight Sparkle. As Lyra was looking around, an alicorn walked up to Bon Bon.
"What is Lyra wanting?" Twilight asked,
"Honestly...I forgot...I guess a portal, she told me."
"Which one?"
"Is there one that goes to America?"
"Yes...the one that has an 'A' on it,"
"FOUND IT!" Lyra yelled, as the four other ponies ran up to where she was.
Lyra was standing in front of a portal in the shape of a mirror, with an "A" on it, as Twilight said.
"Shall we go?" Lyra asked,
"Eh..." Bon Bon said,
"CLOSE ENOUGH!"
Lyra had suddenly gotten everypony into the portal, as they felt changes happening to their body...
However...that was not the strangest thing to happen.
When they arrived, they were in a room with a closet and a bed, and they were completely different in physique, now being human. There were a few posters on the walls, as Lyra marveled the room, however they needed to fix one thing...
They were nude.
This, however, was quickly changed, considering there was a closet, as Lyra went in first, coming out a bit later, wearing a waldo shirt, brown pilot jacket, blue jeans, and black Dr. Martens.
The rest put on clothes, as Lyra decided to lay down on the bed, looking at one of the posters, it had a silhouette of a man in a victory pose, with the word "Queen" above him. Lyra came up with a slogan...
"The queen of victory!"
It was a stupid slogan, she was aware of that, but she thought it was ok.
