Main Order
Ponyville is lost.
The invaders's strike force has overwhelm the town's garrison and now clearing up any remaining royal guards. To the invaders, this was just a mission. But to the ponies.... This was a slaughter house.
Many of the citizen were either killed in the cross fire, killed by the invaders or captured like Ponyville. But this wasn't just a newly captured territory for the aliens. Ponyville was right in front of the capital; Canterlot, the last stand for Equestria. The southern and eastern lands of Equestria had all fallen to aliens and beyond those lands is the portal to the invaders's homeworld, where reinforcements comes through daily and seemed to never end.
As Ponyville was burning from the flames of war. Twilight was running for her life. An invader was not so far from her, trying to shoot her with its weapon that has killed hundreds of Twilight's species. Her wings were burned and broken, so she couldn't just flying away and even if she could, The aliens's flying war machines would just end her there. She had only one choice; run.
She dashed through alleyways, trying to escape her could be killer. But no mutter how many alleyways she ran through, the alien was still behind her, trying so hard to gun her down. Sadly enough. Twilight ran in a alleyway with a dead end, filled with crumbling building parts, fires and dead ponies. She looked around, desperately trying to find a way out. But the only way out was now blocked by the alien. She turned her head slowly to see the alien reloading its weapon. A shell flew out of it and then pointed at her. Twilight closed her eyes and waited for death to take her. She thought about her friends, all the good times and bad times, all the fun parties and grand adventures they were part of. But most of all. The fact that they were her friends gave her a bit of peace in her mind, even if her home is burning and she was about to die from the alien's weapon. She was grateful to be their friend and they to her.
However. There was no death for her today. For when the alien was about to pull the trigger, a magical blast blow its head off and made its headless body fall to ground with a thud. Twilight slowly but surely opened her eyes to see the dead alien on the ground. The one who made the shot was none other then her own brother; Shining Armour. Twilight rushed towards her brother and gave him the biggest hug in their lifetime. As she hugged Shining, she noticed that he has a whole squad right behind him. Around twenty of royal guards were looking around, making sure no more aliens were following or stopping them from rescue Twilight. Soon enough. The two siblings stopped hugging each other.
"We're getting you out of here" Shining Armour said seriously as he order his squad to move out. Twilight followed closely to her brother.
"What about the others?" Twilight asked Shining. "What about the rest of Ponyville, we can't just leave them to those things" While they were still walking though the alleyway. Explosions were heard not a short mile. Then came the sound thunder roaring in the darkish sky. The ponies looked up and saw dozens of the aliens's flying war machines. Twilight knew these type of machines. They were simply known as bombers, they'd levelled cities and armies by just flying by and releasing their bombs upon those unfortunate enough to get hit by them. It seemed that they were doing the same here in Ponyville like they did too Manehatten. Destroying the buildings and forces in the town. Shining turned to face his sister with sad look.
"Twily" Her brother spoke with pity. "Our orders were to escort you, and only you, out of Ponyville and into Canterlot. This is our main order, the rest I'm afraid, are in fate's hooves"
Twilight's eyes widened in shock. They'd only came here to evacuate her and her alone. Everyone else is expendable. She was about to protest, but a guard in front of the squad called for his captain, which Shining walked towards the guard with Twilight following behind him. They saw what the guard saw.
In front of them was a large platoon of aliens in a circle, with two group of ponies in the centre of the platoon. The invaders were wearing different uniforms, which means that they were all from different nations from their homeworld in this one platoon. Far from where Shining's squad was hiding in the alleyway. There was a alien wearing some kind of headphone, that was wired up to what looked like a radio, speaking into a mic. The two groups of ponies were mostly citizens of Ponyville. Twilight saw that in one of the group was almost all of her friends herded in the middle of the terrified group. Those were Applejack, Rarity, Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy. In the other group was where Rainbow Dash was placed, sitting along side with Mr. Cake, who was holding his wife close in his arms. Soon enough, the alien at the radio nodded its head, dropped its headphone on the table and walked towards its platoon and the terrified groups of ponies.
"Men! Listen up!" The alien commanded its platoon. The rest of the aliens stood straight and saluted. "I've got words from High Command at Gateway. They want group one to be taken to the portal to have them in one of those camps, where our scientists will decide on what to do with them"
"What about the other group, sir?" One of the aliens asked with a very different accent.
The alien snorted and simply shouted. "No conversion!"
After it shouted those words. Rainbow's group began to panic, they knew what that meant.
"What's gonna happen?" Twilight asked the squad, which no one wanted to say, they just turned their heads and closed their eyes. Before anyone could say a thing. One of the aliens walked up to Rainbow's group and picked up one pegasi mare by the throat. It then dragged her away from the group, while she was begging to be spared with tears down her face. It brought her a few feet away from the two group and threw her on the ground while getting out a small weapon that was on its belt. It loaded the weapon, aimed at the crying mare and...
*Bang*
The mare fell to the ground died. Shot in the head, a quick death.
"That's for what you'd done to Berne" The shooter said with venom in its voice. Rainbow lowered her head after seeing a innocent being shot. She didn't had her head down for long, cause another alien grabbed her mane and forced her to look at it.
"Your turn, you сука!" The alien shouted at her as it too dragged her away from the group by the mane. Rainbow straggled to get out of the alien's grip and shouting to get off of her. But every time she straggled, the alien just kneed her in her face till she stopped.
"We got to help them!" Twilight pleaded with her brother.
"No, Twily!" Shining replied through his teeth. "We got to help you!"
Twilight would have none of this. She tried to go out and help her friend. But two of the guards acted quicker then her and grabbed her with their magics. She straggled but couldn't get out of their magics. Shining ordered his squad to move out, while Twilight just looked at Rainbow Dash, helpless to aid her.
"Turn around!" The alien shouted as it slapped Rainbow in the face, which turned her around and saw Twilight. As the alien was loading its larger weapon. Rainbow just smiled weakly at Twilight, as she was being pulled away from the scene.
"We gave them a heck of a run!" Rainbow shouted, she hasn't given up and she still defy the alien invaders, even when they had their weapons pointing at her. The alien behind her finished loading its weapon and pointed at the back of Rainbow's head. The squad made a turn in the alleyway that made Twilight's head turn the other way, so she couldn't see her friend being shot.
Instead, she only heard the sound of the weapon being fired.
*Bang*
