✶✶✶✶✶ Story One: The Night Before ✶✶✶✶✶

T'was the night before Hearth's Warming Day and the valley town Ponyville was enjoying the cold winter season inside where the warmth was. The town was quiet at this time of night with only the occasional winter winds sending gusts of cold air through the nearly empty streets. Most ponies were in bed by now, but there were some who stayed up whether it was because of some last minute holiday shopping or because of their work hours.

Many stores still had their lights on and signs turned to 'open' around central Ponyville. Last minute shoppers would occasionally swoop into one, grabbing a quick gift that somehow slipped past their sights.

Among these many stores was Ponyville's bookstore, a quaint shop front just off the main street. Noble Cause, the proprietor of the establishment stood guard at the front desk, ready for any last minute shoppers at her place. She kept the place clean, the books organizes, and the cash register at the ready for quick transactions. As the dark hours of the night progresses, Noble stood at her post.

The long night had certainly been taxing for the unicorn. The tired pony opened her mouth in a big yawn as she stretched her tan colored forehooves across the counter. She lazily smacked her lips as she blankly stared at the shop's main door.

Why was she even on the clock at this hour? Nopony would bother coming in at such a late hour. Most ponies were at home with friends and family at this point, something she was dying to do. Every now and then she looked up at the wall clock, at least a dozen times every minute, only to find time moving deceptively slow.

A thick history book sat open on the counter in front of her. The dusty tome was kept pristine despite it's age and old books always had such a unique smell to them. Noble lazily leaned her face against a hoof, reading a couple sentences of the open book at a time, before even that got boring.

The storefront was almost barren of activity, seeing only a customer or two quickly weaving through the aisle of books to find what they needed. It was only a rare chance that the customers' browsing led to a sale. Each book was meticulously alphabetized and organized by genre and category. Noble Cause always ran such a tight ship in her store.

Suddenly the front door's bell rang as a wisp of winter air rushed into the store. Noble Cause shivered as she looked up from her post with perked up ears.

Navigating a large, cardboard box through the front door was an acquaintance of hers, an earth pony by the name of Dat Spany.

The green pony had spent his winter hopping from odd job to odd job, taking work where he could find it. The most stable of them all seemed to be a delivery service a friend of his hooked him up with. The past couple weeks had him dashing from house to house with a cart full of boxes, exchanging the packages for signatures from the many ponies of Ponyville.

"Spany," She chirped as she used the counter as a makeshift shield from the rush of cold, "didn't think to see you at this hour. What's going on?"

"Just here to drop of one last package before heading home," the earth pony wobbled underneath the large box, twisting and turning to wedge it through the main aisle way. The box finally reached the counter and was placed between the two ponies as the exhausted pony huffed.

"What's all this?" Noble Cause asked, looking at the plain box at all angles.

"Early Hearth's Warming gift." Dat Spany quickly replied, a big, excited smile on his face.

"For me? This whole thing?"

"Well open it!"

"What is it?"

"Just open it!"

Noble rolled her eyes at her secretive friend as she levitated a metal box cutter from a counter shelf. The knife glowed as it was expertly handled by the unicorn's magic, quickly sliding down the middle of the box's top and severing the packing tape.

She took one last glance up at Spany who watched with great anticipation. She then gave the contents of the box a brief peek before quickly shutting it's flaps with flared up cheeks. "You didn't!"

"You were always talking about it, weren't you? Waddling around, suckling on a-"

"Shhh!" She quickly batted her hooves at the jabberjaw, nervously looking around the store to make sure the coast was clear. She lowered her head and whispered ever so softly, "why did you have to bring it here though?"

The other pony shrugged, "thought it'd be a surprise. And it was! The look on your face!" The earth pony snickered at his embarrassed friend.

"W-well, you could have waited!" Noble did her best to control the humiliating redness in her face. "What am I suppose to do with a box full of...you know, those?"

The green pony shrugged again, "I dunno. Put it under a stack of books or something that you're not usin'." He peeked over the wooden counter and scanned the numerous piles of dusty books and scrolls the sat in organized piles behind the unicorn. "Put one of those stacks on it."

The tan unicorn opened her mouth to say something, but was suddenly interrupted by a set of hoofsteps coming from the back room.

A teenaged, dark blue pegasus came trotting out into the front room with a box balanced on one wing and a thick winter jacket balanced on the other.

The pegasus gently placed the heavy box beside the counter. "Hey Noble," she said as she began slipping her hooves through the sleeves of the coat. "I'm clockin' out for the evening."

"S-sure thing, Dark Skies. Weather work?" Noble asked back, turning towards the teenage pony.

"'fraid so. I have the night shift," the dark blue pony replied, zipping up her warm looking jacket.

Dark Skies was a good friend of Noble Cause despite the age difference. Their matching intellectual personalities clicked together early on, ensuring a strong friendship. The pegasus often worked shifts at Noble's bookstore, helping with back room stuff and earning a few extra Bits along the way.

Tonight was especially busy, being the night before Hearth's Warming Day and all. Dark Skies had spent the bigger part of the day, sorting through packages and deliveries and organizing inventory in the back room. It was a tough job for only one pony to man the front desk AND the back room, so she was happen to help.

Once she finished adjusting her coat around her wings, Dark Skies looked up at the other two ponies. Noble was noticeably uneasy about something, still having a bit of blush in her cheeks. There was a pause, Dark Skies felt something was off. "Is there...Something wrong?"

"No, everything's fine." Spany chimed in with a secretive smirk. "I was just here to drop off Noble's-"

"Books! He got me books," Noble bashfully blushed as the big box was magically lifted and pulled down to her side of the counter, out of sight. A stack of books were placed on top as an added measure. She gave the pegasus a forced, nervous smile.

Dark Skies raised a brow. "Ohhh...kaaaayy..." She took a few steps closer to the main door. "I'll talk to ya later, Happy Hearth's Warming Day!"

"Y-yeah, Happy Hearth's Warming Day to you too!" Noble waved the pegasus goodbye and kept that motion up well after she walked through the front door. It wasn't until she locked eyes with Dat Spany again that she realized what she was doing. Her hoof floated back down as she blushed.

Another awkward moment passed. Both ponies forced to ride it out until Dat Spany broke the ice.

"Well I guess I oughta be going as well!" He barked out, "see you later, Noble." The green pony began trotting towards the entrance.

"Spany?" Noble finally said.

The earth pony stopped and turned his head backwards, "yeah?"

"...Thank you for the...you know..."

Spany gave Noble a knowing smirk, "sure thing. Hope you find use for them."

Noble blushed again, "Oh I don't...think that'll be a problem..."

And with that the green pony was gone, leaving the bookstore quiet and empty.

Noble gulped back a jittery feeling as she glanced at the package again. She looked up at the wall clock, still a half hour left in the shift. She shrugged to herself, close enough. Time to close up shop.

The store was closed up like every other night. Noble emptied the cash register, locked the front door, and turned the 'open' sign to 'closed'. She then slowly walked up the main aisle, glancing down the bookshelf lined side aisle to make sure everything was neat and tidy.

Noble Cause tried to steady her breath as she briskly walked to the back room, being sure to grab Spany's delivery along the way.

The back room had a small sitting room, a quaint relaxation area for the pony's lunch breaks. The sitting room had a simple couch and simple table, taking up only a small part of the back room. There were plenty of tall shelves with boxes in them to use as privacy.

Noble Cause steadied her body for a beat, taking in another lungful of air before placing her delivery onto the lounge's table.

With shaky and sweaty hooves, Noble started to open the top flaps of the box, this time opening it all the way as her smile grew. She felt her heart race as she scanned the items inside the box. She wouldn't have believed it if she wasn't standing there looking right at it.

At least a month's supply of white cloth diapers and designer diaper covers sat inside the box, neatly folded and placed into rows. Spany was even nice enough to include a couple pairs of plastic pants as well!

Noble paused and listened for any sound of movement in the empty store. Nothing.

"It won't hurt to try on one. Just for a little bit." She said to herself, smiling at the box's contents once again. "Then it's straight home."

The pony dug out a white cloth diaper, some safety pins, and a lovely, snowflake styled diaper cover out of the box. She lined each item up on the table beside the box, handling them with great care.

✶✶✶✶✶Story Two: Dark Sky Weather✶✶✶✶✶

Meanwhile, Dark Skies was making her way down the snowy streets of Ponyville. The cold winter air kissed her face as she pushed deeper into town. The fluffy snow squished beneath her hooves as she tread through the snow drifts to get to town square.

Squads of pegasi were already gathered in the square when she arrived. Ponies stood in loose circles, discussing formation patterns and the optimal cloud coverage to give the town a fluffy sheet of fresh snow for the morning. The snow was necessary for Hearth's Warming Day after all.

Flight plans were drawn out in the snow by a stick as the squad captains looked over the plans and talked amongst themselves.

Dark Skies navigated through the crowd of ponies till she found her own squad. More of a trainee squad, but a group of weather ponies all the same.

The captains concluded their meeting and exchanged the flight plan to their teams before everypony lined up to take flight. Wings were extended and goggles were slipped on as ponies readied themselves.

As one steady stream of flapping wings, the squads of pegasi lifted up into the skies. Once among the clouds, the groups started to scatter, beginning their organized weather pattern. Dark Skies kept up with her own squad captain, squinting through her flight goggles to see the pony through the flurry of snow that started to accumulate.

After another hour of flight, the pony finally landed. Her wings ached and pulsed with pain as she curled them back into their resting position. She was definitely going to sleep well tonight. She looked up at the sky to see the thick gray snow clouds that now covered the sky in a thick sheet. Fluffy snow had already begun to drift down to the ground, covering rooftops and pegasi wings.

✶✶✶✶✶Story Three: A Surprise Package For Spany✶✶✶✶✶

Dat Spany trudged through the thick snow that started to pile up on the town all of a sudden. His legs were tired and his back burned from a days worth of rushed deliveries. Now he was off the clock and all was left was the walk home.

The green earth pony walked through the streets of Ponyville, shivering as his hooves grew wet from the clinging snow. His head remained low to the ground to allow the icy winds to blow over his body, his eyes squinting as he journeyed on.

Finally he reached his house's doorstep and spotted a plain looking package on his doormat. The package hadn't been there for long, only having a light glaze of snow on top of it.

Spany brushed the fluffy snow off of the box and inspected the package. It was a plain looking cardboard box that lacked any other markings aside from the words 'To: Dat Spany' written on the top left corner with black ink. There was nothing else on the box, not even a return address or even postage for that matter. He looked at the box with a raised eyebrow, but reluctantly brought it in. No harm giving the package a little peek after all.

His house was unlocked and he carried his package into the house. The inside air was still and cold, he never liked letting the heater run while he wasn't home.

Spany's house was a modest, one floored home that was just the right fit for the fair pony. He had a small kitchen area, a living room, bathroom, and a bedroom all connected to a central hallway. It was all the humble pony really needed.

Sitting himself on the couch with the mysterious package placed on his lap, Spany wasted no time and began digging away at the package's outer brown paper shell. He had to admit the wrapping was handled with care, creases were crisp and well placed, and there was no sign of over taping a side. Even the box was closed with care, a wrinkle free, single strip of clear tape being the only thing holding it's top flaps together.

Spany pulled out the single object that could be found in the box, a neatly folded sleeper that looked big enough to fit an adult. He had to stifle a gasp when he took the piece of clothing in his hooves. The fabric was heavenly soft, smelling of a sweet spring breeze. Just rubbing a piece of the sleeper on his cheek sent shivers down his spine, blissful euphoria dancing down his spine.

"Noble, I don't know HOW you did it, but this has gotta be from you," Spany thought out loud.

The sleeper was slipped on in a matter of seconds. Spany stumble a tiny bit as his excited body moved too fast for his mind to keep up at times, but quickly he was dressed in the cloud printed sleeper. He wiggled inside the soft material, soothing sensations coursing through his body with each slight move he made.

Spany quickly dashed off to bed, hopping into the layers of blankets that sat on top of the mattress. He curled up tightly in the nest of blankets, wearing a big smile on his face as the super soft sleeper stimulated every inch of his coat with blissful content.

Moments before tired pony drifted off to sleep, an idle thought of his figured the only way he could make this better was if he had a diaper to wear. It was a shame that he didn't have any...not yet...but the sleeper was enough, he'd wake up tomorrow refreshed, well rested, and content.

Snuggling a spare pillow of his, the green earth pony fell asleep in his soft footed sleeper with a big smile on his face. Looks like Hearth's Warming Day came early for him.

✶✶✶✶✶Story Four: Flynn Flam✶✶✶✶✶

Hearth's Warming Day began much like any other winter morning. However there was something mystifying about today. Something caused the fresh snow to sparkle brighter and the town more festive.

The holiday officially began with colts and fillies emerging from their slumber and quickly dashing off to wake up their sluggish parents.

The same thing happened in a certain house of the many houses that dotted the side streets of Ponyville. On the second floor of this home, in one of the bedrooms, the light from the fluffy snow outside began to seep through.

The slumbering pony inside began to stir, a single orange hoof dangling out of the bundle of blankets. The young adult Flynn, was one of those morning ponies who woke up with that child like excitement that magically came with Hearth's Warming Day. He yawned and stretched his limbs up into the air before pulling himself out of his warm bed. A fleeting thought urged him to dive back in once his body was succumbed to the crisp winter morning air. However, the pony resisted, today was Hearth's Warming Day after all! Pajama pants and a large shirt two sizes too big were enough warmth for the pony for now.

The orange pony quickly scurried out of his room and made a mad dash two doors down the hall, past the bathroom and straight into his roommate's room.

Unlike Flynn, his unicorn roommate, Vector wasn't much of a morning person. He was slow to wake up and needed some heavy encouragement from his roommate to begin waking up, but Flynn wasn't known to give up easily.

Flynn proceeded to bounce on Vector's bed, shaking the other pony. "Come on, Vector! Wake up!"

"Mm?" Vector finally raised his head, slowly blinking tired, blue eyes. "Flynn? What? What's the big rush?"

"Wake up already!" Flynn continued to bounce. "It's Hearth's Warming Day!"

"Already?" Vector let out a big yawn and rugged an eye. "It's too early. I'll catch the next one..."

Flynn then hopped to the ground where he butted Vector's body with his head. "Wake up!"

"Alright alright," Vector finally said, dragging his tired body out of his bed.

As soon as he was on his feet, Vector was nudged out of his room by the eager Flynn. The unicorn stumble as he sluggishly tried to keep up with his excited roommate and eventually woke up enough to kind of keep up with his stride.

Downstairs in the living room were a couple small stacks of presents, personal gifts that the two ponies wrapped for each other true to Hearth's Warming Day fashion. The waiting gifts were always a sight to see for Flynn who was thrilled for the holiday every year.

The excited Flynn wasted no time and began digging through the presents. He happily opened the ones marked for him and tossed a gift or two to Vector who sat quietly in his chair.

This year Vector got Flynn a couple new plushies for his bedside collection. The pile in his bedroom was mostly comprised of gifted plushies or plushies he just bought himself and had quickly grown to take over half of his bed when not tended to.

As for Vector, a couple new model kits were unwrapped from the colorful wrapping paper. On his days off, the unicorn would often hide away in his basement workshop to tinker with the tiny models, they helped him relax.

Vector slowly began to perk up as the morning went on. A cup of coffee helped things along and with that energy he was able to somewhat keep up with the energetic Flynn.

Quickly all the presents were unwrapped, leaving behind piles of ripped wrapping paper that needed to be gathered for the trash later.

Flynn sat on the floor with his back against the couch, a collection of plushies surrounding him.

"There's one last gift for ya," Vector smirked.

Flynn's ears perked up as a smile grew on top of his other smile. "Really?"

Vector nodded as he stood up from his chair. "Follow me."

Flynn didn't need to be told twice as he zipped right up beside his roommate, following him closely.

"You know how I told you not to go into the basement for the past couple weeks?" Vector started as he guided the other pony towards the basement door.

"Cuz you didn't want me disturbing you while you worked on your tinkering."

"Well...The truth is," the unicorn started as he unlocked the basement door and opened it up to a dark stairwell. "I fibbed. It wasn't because of my tinkering."

The orange pony looked to his roommate with a puzzled expression, quirking his head to the left. "You? Telling a lie?"

Vector flipped a light switch and climbed down the steps with Flynn following behind. "I didn't want to ruin the surprise."

"Surprise for wha-...." Was all Flynn could say before his eyes swelled up in awe at the basement improvements.

Half of the basement was cleaned up and fashioned into an adult sized nursery. It even contained an adult sized crib and changing table with a fair stock of diapers already in it's shelves. The walls were mostly painted a sky blue, depicting a large flowing meadow with grazing lambs. A rather impressive feat for the intellectual unicorn.

"Happy Hearth's Warming Day," Vector chimed in before he was suddenly hugged by his orange friend.

"Oh thank you, Vector! Thank you!" Flynn wrapped his hooves around the unicorn tightly, embracing him in a big hug.

Vector returned the hug as he chuckled at his thankful friend, "you're quite welcome." The hug lasted a little longer than a typical one. Both ponies lost in each other's embrace in a loving family kind of way. "Now then," Vector finally spoke up after the long hug, "let's get you all padded up for the day."

Somehow, Flynn's smile managed to get bigger and he happily bounced over to the changing table. In one aerobatic maneuver, the earth pony jumped into the air and plopped squarely on top of the sturdy changing table.

Vector chuckled at the other pony's excitement as his magic pulled out a thick diaper from the changing table's shelves. "Somepony's excited for their diaper change."

As Flynn watched with wide, excited eyes, Vector gathered some foal powder, wipes, and began opening the diaper.

✶✶✶✶✶Story Five: Snow Fun✶✶✶✶✶

Meanwhile, in another household down the street, the pitter-patter of young hooves could be heard bolting down the main hallway. A streak of yellow and pink zipped across the house in breakneck speeds, making a beeline for the master bedroom. The door flew open as the blur of color hopped onto the sleeping pony who rested in the king sized bed.

"Sun's up! Wake up wake up!" An eager young filly bounced on top of her father who groaned at the rude awakening.

Glamer Mist, like many fillies her age, acted as her father's alarm clock, making sure he didn't miss this morning. Her yellow wings buzzed with excitement as she hopped on top of the stirring lump in the blankets. She made sure not to wake him up too early, like he previously warned her not to do, but the moment the sun came up, all bets were off, and her excitement was too much to contain.

"I'm up. I'm up," the older pegasus groaned as he shooed her away with a lazy hoof.

In one acrobatic motion, the eager filly hopped off of the bed and landed back down on the floor, squarely on all four hooves. "Happy Hearth's Warming Day, daddy!"

The older pony grumbled, climbing out of the bed with wobbly legs and lazy reaction time, "yeah yeah, Happy Hearth's Warming Day to you too, Glamer." He let out a big yawn as he rubbed a sleepy eye with a hoof, "soon as I get my morning coffee, we'll start opening presents, alright?"

Glamer's father lazily made his way down the hall towards the kitchen, yawning every couple of feet. Glamer didn't want to wait and was already bounding for the kitchen long before her father even started walking.

She skidded across the tiled kitchen floor, her wings stretching out a tiny bit to retain her balance. The coffee grounds were pulled out of the overhead cupboard and she did her best to make the coffee all by herself. She had seen her daddy make it dozens of times and was pretty sure she could make it. Easy peasy!

Coffee grounds crumbled onto the counter, mixing with puddles of dribbled water as the hyperactive pony made the coffee as fast as she could. It was much messier than when her daddy did it, but Glamer managed. After a bit of trial and error, as well as a messy counter or two, the coffee maker was well on it's way on making the older pegasus a pot of coffee. Glamer's father hadn't even made it to the kitchen before the Glamer started up the machine.

With some minor coaxing from the younger pegasus, Glamer's father was quick to pour himself a cup of coffee and slip down to his chair in the living room where a stack of presents waited.

Glamer dove right into opening presents. True to their family's tradition, she would pass one gift over to her father to open before she could open one of hers. Those were the rules after all.

No gift wrapping lasted longer than a couple minutes when put under the hyper hooves of the young pegasus. She got some new books which she was excited to read when she got the chance, some new board games she was hoping to get the entire family gathered to play, and to top it all off she got a beautiful lapis hair bow which she eagerly put on the moment she opened the gift box.

After only ten minutes, Glamer Mist over looked the room around her. A battle field of ripped up wrapping paper and discarded ribbons littered the living room floor. Another successful Hearth's Warming Day it seemed! The pony proudly gazed upon her hull of gifts, feeling lucky and excited for the holiday. And this was only HALF of her Hearth's Warming Day.

As she looked over the living room and her father sipping his coffee quietly on the couch, her eyes caught a glimpse of the snow that fell outside. She hopped to her feet and zipped over to the large bay window, smiling at all the children playing outside.

She turned to her father with perked ears. "Can I go play outside?!" Glamer hopped in place.

"Well..." her father deliberately trailed off, keeping the filly in suspense.

"Pleeeeeease! Please please please!" Glamer begged her dad with the biggest puppy dog eyes she could manage.

"Alright, Glam. But don't play too long," her father warned, "we gotta go see your sister and mom, remember?"

"Okay daddy!" Glamer chirped before hopping into her winter boots, slipping on her winter scarf as well.

The very second her winter gear was on, the young pegasus bolted out the front door, diving into a large snow drift outside. Other colts and fillies were already seen digging through the snow.

Glamer Mist happily hopping into whatever games of tag or snowball fights that other children were playing. Her friendly disposition winning over just about everypony she joined. Besides the gift opening, playing with all the children around this time of year was what made Hearth's Warming Day so much fun for the pegasus.

✶✶✶✶✶Story Six: Extra Insulation✶✶✶✶✶

Snow continued to flutter down from the gray sky, covering the ground in a layer of fluffy white that slowly thickened over time. With presents opened, colts and fillies were already outside, piling up snow into forts and sledding. The mid-morning sun made the fresh snow twinkle as flurries of it were thrown about by the playing children.

Most ponies were up at this hour whether out of excitement or because they were forced to by excited children. One pony, however, was still sound asleep in the warmth of her bed.

Down the main street of Ponyville, about ten minutes away from Sugarcube Corner, there rested a house where the lights inside still remained off. The single resident of the house, Razz Tazz was still slumbering away despite all the fun that was happening outside her house.

A late night of caroling left the pegasus tired and sapped of energy. The few extra hours of sleep was enough of a present for the pony. Her lightly scratchy throat wasn't enough to keep her in bed, however. The day was much too exciting for the filly-at-heart pony to just lazily sleep away.

Her bedsheets were pulled away and she excitably hopped up to her bedroom window, momentarily dazzled by the fluffy snow that fell from the sky. She wore the biggest smile on her face as every fiber in her body screamed with excitement.

In a thrilled flash, the rosy pegasus darted out of her bedroom, zipping through her morning routine as quickly as possible. Every second she saved going through it as quickly impossible meant one more second outside in the fluffy snow. After only thirty minutes, Razz was already at her front door, slipping on her winter gear and turning the door knob.

The outside cold air tingled her face as she stepped out onto her snow covered stoop. The area around her was already submerged in snow related games. Families were crafting snow mares together and children stock piled snowballs for epic battles while others dash about playing tag.

With a flutter of her wings, Razz was just about to make her way into the activities, but she was suddenly stopped. A plain looking package, about the size of a pillow, waited in front of her. The brown box lacked any kind of return address and only had the words 'To: Razz Tazz' written neatly near one corner. Not even her address was listed.

The rose red pegasus looked around for the delivery pony, but all she saw was the group of giggling colts and fillies, dashing around in the fluffy snow. She slowly picked up the package and brought it inside, shutting the cold out once again.

The surprise package was placed on her living room's coffee table as Razz stepped out of her winter pants and coat. The brown wrapping was quickly ripped away with hopeless abandonment, reminding Razz of all those Hearth's Warming Days she spent with family as a kid.

Once fully revealed, Razz looked at the gift with blush filled cheeks and tingling excitement. The gift was a soft plastic package with the words 'Dry Clouds' beautifully displayed on it's main faces. Razz knew that brand name right away!

Diapers. Actual adult foal diapers!

Razz had always dreamed of owning some of her own, but could never gather up the courage to buy any. Plus the brands she found at the store were never up to her standards. They were always so thin and lacked any fun pictures printed on them like real baby diapers. And that's what she wanted, diapers that fit her and looked the part.

She let out an excited squeal before ripping a slit into the plastic shell of the diaper case. A single diaper was extracted and with shaky hooves she explored every crease of the folded garment. The thick, pink padding crinkled loudly under her touch as she touched it and examined the little pink and red hearts that covered its surface.

She could barely keep still as she opened the diaper up and began taping it up around her waist. Every fiber in her body tingled with these new sensations of bliss as she wore a smile on her face through the entire thing. The thick diaper hugged her rump with it's soft interior, bringing forth a sense of security and safety.

Her winter pants and coat were slipped back on to complete the look. Now with the added insulation of a wonderfully thick diaper, Razz Tazz bounded for the front door once again.

Before rushing out the door, Razz caught her reflection in the hallway mirror. The extra thick padding of the diaper was barely noticeable in all the fluffy insulation that encased her body in it's warmth. She smiled at this. One less thing to worry about!

She hopped outside and quickly joined in on the snow games that the children were already in the thick of. She always found it easy for her to hop into these kinds of games, gleefully joining in on the hyperactive fun.

✶✶✶✶✶Story Seven: Frozen Moments✶✶✶✶✶

As snow balls were thrown and snow forts were built, the whirl of shutting lenses could be heard from a nearby camera. A red unicorn photographer busied himself with documenting all the fun that erupted around the snowy streets.

The camera would float by his head until he needed it. Whenever a moment needed to be captured, he would quickly pull the viewfinder to his eye level and snap a photo. Another click from Shutter Speed's camera meant another moment of this joyous holiday was captured.

He always enjoyed the holidays and the warm fuzzy feeling he got when he captured the warm moments of such a cold season. Family dinners, children playing snowball tag outside, even the town's annual winter wrap up were all frozen in time through the work of Shutter Speed's keen photographer's eye.

The unicorn could be seen diving and dipping about with his trusty camera close by. He would follow a specific pony about their play time before quickly switching over to another, targeting the most active ponies who moved a lot. That would ensure the most action based shots in the smallest amount of time.

His eye was then suddenly caught by a giggling rose pegasus who stood a few feet taller than the children around her. Despite her size and obvious age difference, this red pegasus seemed really content with running about and giggling along with the fillies and colts. The other children didn't seem to mind her in the slightest.

For the moment, Shutter Speed's camera followed the adult pegasus, snapping a few pictures of her as she merrily dashed around the snow, tossing snowballs about at other invading ponies. His speedy lens froze the playing pony in crisp photos.

As he followed her, a flash of bright pink caught his eye. He paid a little more attention to the color every time it entered his peripherals. Quickly, he concluded that it was the rose pegasus's underwear. Only they didn't look like plain old underwear that you'd expect a grown mare to wear. These seemed thicker and through Shutter's fancy lens he was able to pick out childish prints dotting the thick, plastic underwear. Diapers.

Shutter had to blush when he spied the bit of diaper peeking out. He blushed even harder realizing that he knew what those diapers were in the first place. He had half a mind to warn them about it, but it was embarrassing to admit he was even looking. Instead, he did the most polite thing he could think of and averted his eyes from the pink padding.

Pulling his camera away from the padded pony, Shutter shifted his attention to another subject.

✶✶✶✶✶Story Eight: Party In Equestria✶✶✶✶✶

For all the local adult foals that dotted the valley town of Ponyville, a party was being assembled for the holiday. Whether it was from personal invite or hearing about it through the adult foal rumor mill, the event was being held near the edge of Ponyville proper.

The party provided an environment where adult foals could indulge in their lifestyle in a safe environment. Many of them brought their own diapers, foalish toys, and clothes, all hidden inside inconspicuous saddle bags and boxes. Some guests even brought some homemade dishes to add to the feast.

Star Ocean, a local part time inventor, was the hostess of today's party. For those ponies who didn't have families to visit or other friends to hang out with, Star Ocean's party was a welcome sight.

The pegasus had plenty of space in the old 3-bay carriage repair shop that she called home. The large warehouse floor was typically filled with tools and supplies and inventions she was tinkering with during most of the year. However, just for the party Star Ocean's inventions-in-progress were all pushed aside and covered in tarps to make room for the party goers. Her large warehouse gave the ponies who attended ample space to converse and play.

Most of the warehouse floor was left open for romping and games, but part of it was set aside for the long buffet table filled with a potluck dinner. Seating and dining tables were assembled close to the buffet to accommodate the twenty or so guests who were attending this year's party.

The excitable orange pegasus was a good hostess, keeping herself busy with directing ponies to the drinks table and occasionally carrying around a plate of hors d'oeuvres to the ponies. Between the usual hostess tasks, she was able to talk with the many ponies who attended.

The social Star Ocean found herself happily hopping from one group of ponies to the other, practically making instant friends with them after a few minutes of conversation. The friendly pony felt liberated from the social norms of the outside world, allowing more of her 'little side' to show through. A quick look around revealed a lot of the ponies treated the party the same way.

Noble Cause and Dat Spany were among the list of party attendees. It would have been foolish for Noble to pass up an opportunity to wear her new cloth diapers in an environment where it was perfectly okay. She felt so empowered being able to do it with little to no complaints from other ponies at the party.

Spany was here to talk with friends as well as show off his new pair of footie pajamas. He got a lot of compliments for them, some of the compliments making him blush, and the entire time he was kept warm inside the soft fabric.

"Hey! Love the new pajamas!" Noble chuckled "Buy that for yourself?"

"What? No...I thought you got it for me," Spany said as he tilted his head in confusion. "Like to get back at me for surprising you with YOUR gift,"

"Me? No I tried on one of diapers that you gave me and then went straight home after that," Noble shrugged, almost as puzzled as her friend.

"Well if you didn't do it...than who did?"

"Oooou! Looks like Spany's got a secret admirer!" Noble teased.

The two continued to talk, teasing going back and forth. Neither of them could figure out who delivered Spany's present and as the night went on, they started to consider that it actually WAS some sort of secret admirer...or it was just a random pony running around and dropping gifts at ponies' houses. It was tough to be sure.

Meanwhile the shy Harmonius Contrast was sitting alone at one of the dining tables. The red unicorn quietly nibbled on a couple cookies as he kept to himself at the end of one of the dining tables. Although he did not outwardly show it with friendly chatter and loud laughing, Harmony was happy to be part of such a festivity. It was a rare opportunity for the unicorn to be surrounded with other adult foals who appeared to be so open with the lifestyle.

Being a full time student, Harmony didn't usually have time to go out and socialize. He was typically too tied down with correspondence courses from Manehattan's Institute of Art and Design to leave room for friends. Not that he usually liked jumping into social situations whenever the opportunity revealed itself. The quiet pony frequently found himself quietly sitting at social gatherings such as this party, being perfectly okay with watching.

Though the shy unicorn wasn't alone. Sitting a few chairs down was the contemplative Soul Scribe, a leaf green pegasus who was enjoying his first day off in months. Life of an arcane investigator had it's busy season and that made the holidays all the sweeter when his short break came. He was perfectly content with sitting there and watching the fun happen around him.

✶✶✶✶✶Story Nine: The Hearth's Warming Play✶✶✶✶✶

As evening fell upon the town, festivities shifted gear. Playtime and parties were replaced with large family feasts and plays.

Out of tradition, many families dressed up to attend the annual Hearth's Warming Day play, a staple in the festive events. Most ponies knew the story by heart, growing up with the same tale, but tradition made it an annual event for them to attend.

The Ponyville theater hall was big enough to house the few families and friends who were attending the evening's play. It's cushioned seating weren't the most comfortable place one would sit, but they definitely gave the whole room a regal feel to it. Stage lights hung from the rafters overhead, lighting up the stage with bright white light which could easily be changed to influence the emotion of a scene.

Refreshments were served at the lobby counter, usually some juice and water, but for tonight there was hot chocolate being served to warm the hooves of the many patrons.

For those sitting around row eleven, a gentle waft of foal powder could be smelt in the air. Most ponies paid no mind to such a smell, pushing the blame on the foals who were brought to the play rather then even considering the group of ponies who sat at row eleven.

Harmonius Contrast looked at his watch, taking this time to glance at his crotch to make sure his padding wasn't showing through, "when's this thing suppose to start?"

Star Ocean took a sip of her hot chocolate, pausing for a moment to take in the pleasant warmth that the drink gave her body. It was great to know that she'd be able to drink all the hot chocolate she wanted and not worry about the bathroom. "About five or ten minutes. Sometimes they run a little late."

Harmonius Contrast, Star Ocean, and the rest of the padded ponies who sat together made themselves comfortable. The extra padding under their clothes made the cushy theater seats even more comfortable to sit in as they merrily sipped at their hot chocolate.

Meanwhile, in the front rows of the theater, a cyan pony quietly sat by herself in these minutes before the play. It was rather unusual to see Silver Screen, a professional movie critic, attend a play. But on the slow movie seasons where new movies were harder to come by, the earth pony spent her time writing reviews for theatrical plays.

This was partly a business visit, but considering that everypony knew the story of Hearth's Warming Day by heart, this was also a time for the analytically pony to relax and unwind after a busy season of being a movie critic. It was a refreshing change of pace to not have to bring a notepad and pencil to this play. The hot chocolate was just an added bonus.

Leaning back in her seat, Silver Screen waited patiently for the play to commence.

Behind the curtains and down in the green room Curtain Call was finishing with his stage make up. He had spent the last ten minutes staring at his reflection, desperately trying to rid himself of those pre-show butterflies. The light blue unicorn always had a problem dealing with those kinds of feelings before every show he did. Once on stage he found he can be quite the theatrical pony, but the preparation and the moments leading up to it were always nerve racking for him.

"Five minutes, everypony!" a stagehand pony called out.

The ponies around Curtain Call finished up their own pre-show rituals before filing out of the room. He was one of the last ponies to stand. He took one last moment to look at himself, taking a big sigh.

"Knock 'em dead, Curtain Call," he told his reflection, taking another big breath before heading out himself.

Meanwhile, in the orchestra pit, a young Forrte was stretching his forehooves and wings in preparation for the play. A well shined clarinet sat in front of him while an opened instrument case sat beside his chair.

All the other musicians were getting ready as well, tuning their instruments and reading through their sheet music a couple times. Some ponies did some quick stretches of their limbs, limbering up for the play.

"Five minutes, you guys," a stagehand told one musician who quickly, but quietly relayed that information to the musician beside him and so on.

The theater lights began to fade, shortly accompanied by the applause of the audience. The main house lights faded while spot lights on the stage powered on and illuminated the red curtain.

Music began stir as the curtains rose to reveal a solitary pony dressed in a colorful Elizabethan costume. "Once upon a time, long before the peaceful rule of Celestia and before ponies discovered our beautiful land of Equestria..."
