Chapter 1: Recap

<2 years later>

SEA has been at peace with the ponies of Equestria, trading has been going on among the two races. There have been sightings of a shadowy figure now and then popping up in Ponyville and in the rebuilt city of Manehattan that has now been renamed to the Earth version of Manhattan. The figure has been seen to have taken ponies and people and then disappear with it and the victim never returning.

Thomas walks along a long dark corridor with two scientists to the side and behind him, his cane clanging against the floor as he walks, the corridor dark but light enough to see having light provided by some weak bar light that run the whole length of the corridor, at the end is a large bulkhead door. When they get close to it, the locks click open and the door slides open, the three of them walk in to see consoles all over the huge room, scientists and technician all manning them as they punch in coding and statistics.

Thomas walks up to one of the larger consoles as the two scientists he was with walks over to some screens and writes down notes. Thomas rests his cane against the console and puts both hands on it next to the small screen that is indented into it, “How is our subject doing?” he asks calmly to the technician next to him on a chair.

“He’s stable, life signs are nominal and we should have it ready for release any time soon...sir.” he replies as Thomas takes a look at some of the holographic readings in front of the him then takes a glance at the screen only to double take as the screen shows a large test tube like object in a large room with two scientists stood at a console making sure everything is working fine.

One scientist then looks back, up at the camera and puts a thumb up, the tube hisses as gasses decompress from the tube and the room starts to fill with steam, “Slight over the top with steam, must be decompressing more than expected, can’t see the tube, starting filtration in the room....wait, you hear that?” he says to the other scientist in the room, Thomas watching trying desperately to see something, the gas around the camera starts to fade slightly as the air rushes out into the filtration ducts.

A scientist can be seen waving his hand trying to move the steam away from the console, he then rears his head, “All life signs are gone, and the subject must be out.” He says, Thomas presses a button and begins to speak, “Be careful, we don’t know if this subject will be as....vicious as the others.” The scientist crouches down to pick up a stun gun from a small box by the side of the console and slowly stands up straight.

He looks about and then finally realises the other scientist is missing, “Connor, where are you?” he asks with a slight break in his voice, “Connor, c’mon man, this isn’t funny.” He calls; he then starts to make his way over towards where he thought the door to the room would be.

Thomas watches from the screen knowing he can’t do much to help but only watch, the scientist on the screen soon reaches a wall but the steam is still too dense to see much, he puts his hands against the wall to try and find the keypad to open it, he searches and searches but fails to find anything, as he turns to face the middle of the room a torso flies towards him and impacts against the wall as he dives out of the way, the torso was still warm and bleeding, even still moving as the head looks around slowly over to the scientist, “Run...Brian, Run.” He slowly says before exhaling one last time and then be dragged back by something, a shadow covering the arms as if it were holding it.

Brian starts to breath heavily as he know right away that something was off, the room hisses as the filtration system suddenly goes into full whack and the steam quickly leaves the room only for Brian to see bloody all up the walls and piece of a human’s insides dripping from the ceiling, he puts a hand to his mouth as he can feel himself going to be sick.

Over a speaker he can hear Thomas calling to him, “Get out Brian, it isn’t safe anymore, the subject is too dangerous, I am sending down some synthetics to kill it. Almost right away the door to the room opens on the far end of the room and two soldiers burst into the room, guns held ready to shoot, they search the room as one sees him and points, they both start to approach him, he can see something starting to move across the ceiling and lower down to them, he shouts and points, both of the synthetics turn to face it and immediately open fire on it as he rushes for the door only for it to close and lock right in front of him as if someone didn’t want him to get out.

He turns to face the two guys who are firing on the shadow like object that drips down to the floor in front of them, as they shoot it the rounds just hit but pass right through as holes form for the round to go through, they stop knowing they’re doing no damage, the shadow then starts to form into a 3D shape, the shadow climbing up itself soon coming to a large figure, it was pony like. The figure soon is fully ‘built’ as it has its head low, the shadow colour then shifts to a black with maroon coloured mane and tail.

The two synthetics look at each other before facing the figure once more, they raise their guns only to be stopped by a voice over the speaker, “Do not fire, this subject hasn’t failed after all, I want you to bring it to me, now.” They then look at each other knowing that won’t be easy, the pony standing with its eyes closed.

It then talks with a deep voice, calm and sinister, “That voice, it sounds like the ones from my dreams, I must find the one that voice belongs to.” He opens his eyes and looks at the two synthetics, they look at him and point whilst the other tells him to follow, the door opens and Brian falls back out of the room before scurrying away in fear.

<15 minutes later>

They arrive at the control room where Thomas is stood looking at a video of what just happened, “So, you have killed my scientist, he was good, very hard to replace, but you are something alright, I have noticed you have learnt your powers already, I created you so I own you, you will take orders from me and no-one else...” he says before standing straight, picks up his cane and turns to face the pony who pushes the two synthetics back with his magic for a bit of privacy, “You wish to talk in private? Come then, we will talk at my house...Bloodshade that is a good name for you, yes it shall do, come Bloodshade.” He adds before walking up to the pony that is already in full trust of the human walking towards him.

Thomas places his hand on the pony’s back and raises his cane in front of him to teleport them out of the facility and over to Alverton, a large city that has been built over the griffon city, part of the city floats above, this is where all the superior ones live, such as Thomas, his leading men and even a place for Kieron to live if her were alive.

Celestia walks into Luna’s room having now the time to be with her at last after a long day’s work filling in transfer forms for some supplies to SEA, she peeks her head in to see if Luna is in, she sees nopony but just as she goes to leave she can hear water running, it was the shower, she walks in slowly and peers round the bathroom door to see the steam gushing out of the shower cubicle, she steps in to get a better view of the shower, her horn begins to glow as she tampers with something, seconds later screaming can be heard coming from the shower as the steam gushes out in insane amounts, ‘Tia puts a hoof to her mouth as she tries not to laugh too loudly as Luna tries her best to turn down the hot water, nothing happens, she then turns up the cold which thankfully works and quickly cools it down, by then she had enough of the shower and opens the door, walks out onto a towel to stop the floor becoming wet.

‘Tia now in the bedroom peers round the corner to look at the scalded sister of hers, if she wasn’t a dark blue she would definitely be red raw right now. She uses her magic to pull a towel off the rail and begins to dry herself off, ‘Tia seizes the opportunity and slowly walks up to her, face directly in front of Luna’s, Luna finishes drying her face and goes to wipe her back, doing so is presented by a face right in hers which has a large grin upon it, eyes shut.

She shuts her eyes in shock but then slowly opens one to notice it is Celestia she then suddenly opens both and hits ‘Tia with the towel as she curses at her sister who walks out laughing.

<Alverton, Thomas Naythorpe’s house>

Thomas is sat in his large wingback chair, Bloodshade staring out of the window to look at the city, “So, do you like it, this planet is very fine indeed, it is similar to one that us humans used to live on but now we have to share.” He says to the pony sit at the window, not even giving any response but he knows that Bloodshade is listening as his ears turn to him as he talks.

“You share a planet? All I see is humans here, in this city of yours.” Bloodshade replies as he turns to face him and pointing out the window.

Thomas knods before correcting, “No, this is only one city we have, on the other side of the planet though are a race of creatures that you resemble very closely, you may be a human creation like one other person I used to know.” He says before putting a hand to his mouth to stop himself from getting emotional over the thoughts of losing Kieron. Bloodshade looks at him knowing what is wrong.

“You’ve lost someone close haven’t you?” he asks, Thomas looks at him and knods, he points at a picture of Kieron stood in full power armour diving the president of USA with a knife in hand up in the air coming down towards the president, a picture next to it has Kieron sat at his desk in the old SKULL complex stuffing his face full with sandwiches whilst offering one to a pink pony sat next to him, Bloodshade stares at the pony, picks up the picture with his magic and turns to face Thomas.

“Who is this?” he asks pointing at the picture, Thomas not looking says it’s Kieron but Bloodshade corrects him and again asks who it is pointing at the pony, Thomas looks to see the pony on the picture and knods to the side.

“Ah, that would be Moonshine, we created her too, and she’s a feisty one, always trying her best to screw as many people in one day, good fighter though. She was created from Kieron along with her sister, Treacle Tart.” He replies.

“Moonshine, huh. She looks very happy with this Kieron person.” He says as he looks at the two of them, he puts the picture back down and walks over to the window again, parks his arse on the floor and stares out of the window.

All of a sudden a shadowy figure appears in the middle of the room, it looks about as if something is wrong, Bloodshade never even noticed the figure but Thomas almost immediately jumps out of his seat to confront the figure who looks at him and smiles, “it has been a while Thomas, two seconds, I have the wrong place again.” It says to him before disappearing, almost right away he can hear a loud scream come from the city below, then after the scream dies down the figure returns, this time Bloodshade does notice it and immediately confronts the figure who puts his hand up to lock him on the spot.

“Do not come any further creature; I must say I have never seen you before, there are only two Alicorns on this planet, how is it you’re one?” it asks as Bloodshade tries to move, even use his magic to stop the force that is holding him in place but it does nothing, Thomas doesn’t do anything as he listens to the voice of the figure stood in front of him.

“I recognise that voice, but it can’t be.” Thomas says as he looks over at the pictures of Kieron then back at the dark, hooded figure with the scythe, “is it really you, Kieron?” he asks hoping it to be him.

The figure looks over to him, stabs the scythe into the ground, reaches up with both hands and pulls the hood back, his face not even changed but the scar he attained over his eye, “Yes, it is me Thomas. I’m sorry that I haven’t come earlier but I had to lay in secret as I am officially dead.” He replies as he walks over to Bloodshade, studies him then pats him on the head before letting him go, “When I pressed that button to destroy the IRIS base, I expected to die but I think the Elements allowed me to live and so I cheated death, and so because of that I have now taken his rightful place...” he adds as he sits down on a chair and picks up and apple in his leather gloved hand.

“So let me get this right, you’re death now?” Bloodshade questions after putting two and two together.

Kieron knods after taking a bite out of the apple, he then continues to explain to the two of them “Yes, I am now death itself, but that isn’t always a good thing as I have found out. I can’t touch people with my bare hands, I have to wear these gloves, I can cause pain, hurt, and torture but I can’t kill, that is one of the responsibilities of being death, I can’t kill unless it is their time.” He adds before taking another bite of the apple, Thomas sits on his chair to think about Kieron’s circumstances.

“So you can hurt but not kill, are you willing to still work with us knowing you can’t kill anyone?” he asks while having a hand against his chin to think, Kieron knods.

He stands up, walks over to Thomas’s chair and lowers onto one knee, scythe in other hand and head low before replying, “I am always willing to work for you, Grand Master.”

Chapter 2: Undead

Last chapter: Kieron knods after taking a bite out of the apple, he then continues to explain to the two of them “Yes, I am now death itself, but that isn’t always a good thing as I have found out. I can’t touch ponies with my bare hooves, I have to wear these gloves, I can cause pain, hurt, and torture but I can’t kill, that is one of the responsibilities of being death, I can’t kill unless it is their time.” He adds before taking another bite of the apple, Thomas sits on his chair to think about Kieron’s circumstances.

“So you can hurt but not kill, are you willing to still work with us knowing you can’t kill anypony?” he asks while having a hoof against his chin to think, Kieron knods.

He stands up, walks over to Thomas’s chair and lowers onto one knee, scythe in other hoof and head low before replying, “I am always willing to work for you, Grand Master.”

Kieron sits back onto the chair and clicks his fingers only for a zombie like pony to appear and give him a slice of forest gateaux on a plate and then disappear, Thomas’ expression shows how disgusting the pony was as he covers his face with a cloth to hide his nose from the smell, Bloodshade intrigued by the pony.

“What was that thing and where did it come from?” Thomas asks as he lifts the cloth from his nose to see if the air was free of the stench, Kieron lifted the fork with a piece of the cake on it only to put it down and pick off a piece of rotting flesh from it and throw it away before picking up the fork and putting the cake into his mouth, Thomas gags at the thought of how that must taste, he asks the question again.

Once Kieron finished the piece he smacked his lips together, it must have been nice as drool fills his mouth, he turns to face Thomas and lifts the cake up, “Would you like some, it’s rather nice?” he offers but immediately Thomas refuses the offer and gives up on asking the question, “Oh, and to answer your question, it came from the void, a place of peace and eternal life, for those fortunate enough, rather boring place...” he says as he lifts the fork ready to take another bite of the cake but stops as he remembers something, “Then there’s the mirror world, rather unpredictable place, even you would like that place, Thomas. Anyone unfortunate enough goes to the mirror world and lives forever...” he adds, Thomas confused by his last remark.

“I’m sorry but did you say ‘Lives forever’ with unfortunate, which sounds like a good thing to me.” He replies but Kieron chuckles while putting a finger up.

“Oh no, believe me, you wouldn’t like it at all. That place is called the mirror world for a reason, this world is full of peace and harmony, mirror that and you get death, rape, pain and pleasure to unbelievable amounts, the princesses rule that place under fear and power...” he explains as Bloodshade glances out of the window to see a couple of mechs chasing down a stolen vehicle in the city below, then back at Kieron to listen.

“Here, I am death and my touch kills all of those unlucky enough to get it, but mirror that and you get the touch of life, instead of being death I create life, those who die, I bring back to life, I am god in that world but I don’t like to hang around for long, I prefer this world, in my opinion.” He explains more, Thomas intrigued by this ‘Mirror world’.

He quickly interrupts Kieron to ask him a question, “Can you show me this world?” Kieron sharply looks over to him.
“You wish to see the mirror world...hmm, well I can allow for a one-time visit, only for an hour at the most, if you stay for too long, you will die and then cease to exist.” He replies as he offers the terms, Thomas stands up out of his chair and picks up his cane, Bloodshade walks up to Kieron and asks for the same, Kieron disallows it at first but then allows it to see how he would react.

Kieron gets the two of them to stand in the middle of the room, he then steps back and begins to chant in an unknown language, a large symbol appears on the floor around them, one like the pentagram. He then picks up his scythe and places the base of the handle against one of the outer lines, this causes the symbol to glow bright red, he lifts his scythe and pulls back ready to swing at them, “Please can all passengers keep all limbs inside the symbol at all times, and can you place make sure you have no loose item on you, thank you and enjoy your ride.” He advises to them.

The front door suddenly opens as Moonshine pops her head inside to see Thomas and a pony she’d never shagged, I mean seen before with a hooded figure looking right at them with a large scythe up behind it ready to attack them, just as she goes to stop the figure it looks at her and smiles, she stops dead in her tracks as she recognises that face, the figure then swings its scythe, Thomas and Bloodshade are then cut in half but no blood as the halves fade away along with the symbol, the figure then waves once at her and disappears too.

The three of them arrive in the main hall of the Canterlot castle, it looks exactly the same as the original, clean and peaceful but that peace is soon broken as a pony screams while running for its life along the top of the stairway, it stops as it see the three of them, “PLEASE, HELP ME!” it shouts to them, it goes to head down the stairs but is blocked off by a large white pony that drops down from above and blocks its path down the stairs, it was Celestia no doubt about it but she had both wings still intact.

The three of them watch as the pony runs back up the stair, stumbling along the way and tries to run away but another pony drops down to lands in its back and crush it into the ground causing it to scream in pain, that pony was none other than Luna herself, she then lowers her head and licks at the face of the pony who shouts out once more for help.

Celestia chuckles as she knows there is no escape for the pony, the pony them screams as Luna puts pressure on the pony’s back, but the screaming stops as Luna puts too much pressure on it and breaks the spine.

Kieron then knows his job is coming in and steps forward towards the steps, Celestia turns as she can feel the presence of something powerful, her face crooked and full of insanity, drool dripping from her mouth and her eyes tiny like pin pricks, Kieron turns his head back to look at Thomas, “That isn’t Celestia by the way, it is her mirror self, I call her Molestia. And Luna up there, I call Lunaughty or just cheeky bitch.” He says as Celestia lowers her head to him as he walks past, she knows that she can’t do much to him, he reaches the top of the stairs and uses the blade of the scythe to pull back Luna who tries to resist as she holds onto the dead corpse but he tugs hard causing the blade to cut her slightly and she squeals with pain a little and lets go, he walks over and crouches down to the corpse, pulls of the leather glove over his right hand and then slowly reaches forward.

He touches the pony on the forehead and holds it there for a few seconds before the pony suddenly opens its eyes and gasps as it gains life, he helps the pony up and uses his powers to safely teleport it away from the princesses.

Celestia lifts her head as she knows he is gone, looks over to Thomas and Bloodshade, notices that the pony has both wings and a horn, was this pony going to try and take her rightful place on the throne, she thought so and started to walk over to them, Thomas slightly scared as he had never seen her in such a way, Luna drops down out of nowhere next to ‘Tia, both of them had wide eyes with tiny pupils, Thomas backs up as they slowly walk towards them, Bloodshade stands his ground using his magic to throw some objects at them but they use their magic to deflect them.
Luna pounces forward and lands on Bloodshade and immediately bites at his face, while Celestia runs for Thomas but is stopped as Kieron suddenly appears in front of Thomas to guard him, she quickly turns and runs for the nearest door, along the way she doesn’t see Luna and falls over her, they both get up, Luna looks to see Kieron stood as ‘Tia legs it, Luna quickly joins her, both disappearing from sight, Kieron walks over to the dead corpse of Bloodshade who has died from blood loss, he pulls off the glove and touches him on the forehead, after a few seconds he gasps for air and returns to life.

Kieron puts on his glove, pats Bloodshade on the head and then looks at his watch, “Oh may, time to go back, time moves quickly here, and our hour is almost up.” He says before walking over to Thomas, grabs his arm and them puts the scythe end on Bloodshade’s head, puts the handle under his arm and clicks his finger teleporting them out of the manic, cruel world that it is.

They arrive unfortunately in the wrong place, Canterlot, in the exact place they left from in the mirror world leaving Thomas to be under the impression that they haven’t even left, “What the...Kieron, you didn’t do anything, we’re still in Canterlot.” He says as he frantically looks about. Kieron looks about but notices that it isn’t the same world but leaves Thomas to his problems in thinking they haven’t returned, Bloodshade isn’t even bothered as he looks about, his eyes slightly different from how they used to be, before they were normal like any other pony’s but now they are more cat-like, almost feral.

Thomas grabs tightly onto his cane as he follows Kieron up the stairs, Kieron leading him to Celestia’s room, Bloodshade staying in the foyer, they soon arrive at the room, Thomas recognises it and gulps as Kieron pushes the door open only to be greeted with a pillow flying at him, “Get out, I’m not even up yet.” A voice shouts, Thomas notices that the pony doesn’t seem to be as cruel as the one he just encountered.

“You lazy bitch, you should be up by now.” Kieron replies as he walks in with his hood up, Celestia pops her head up from behind the covers, remembering the voice.

“HOLY SHIT, IT’S DEATH, DON’T KILL ME!!” she shouts as she falls out of the side of the bed trying to get some distance between her and it.

“Do not fear Celestia is it only me...” he says as he pulls back the hood and then adds, “I’m back from the dead baby.”

The Fade

Chapter 3: The Fade

Last chapter: “You lazy bitch, you should be up by now.” Kieron replies as he walks in with his hood up, Celestia pops her head up from behind the covers, remembering the voice.

“HOLY SHIT, IT’S DEATH, DON’T KILL ME!!” she shouts as she falls out of the side of the bed trying to get some distance between her and it.

“Do not fear Celestia is it only me...” he says as he pulls back the hood and then adds, “I’m back from the dead baby.”

Kieron stands and stares at the confused princess that stands before him at the other side of the room, “Do not fear princess, I am here from the dead, well....I never did die so I stand here before you as what probably looks like a very scary person with a huge bloody scythe.” He says as he looks at himself and the scythe in his hand.

Celestia relaxes a little as she realises that it IS actually Kieron, but how can he be alive? She didn’t know so to be safe she keeps her distance from it. Kieron offers a hand out to her, “Please come, I’m not going to hurt you...” he comments, as he puts his hand out he forgets that he didn’t put his glove on and his left hand is nothing but bone, she looks at the hand and shakes her head a little, he quickly pulls it back and then puts a glove over it, the glove not even sagging from the extra room inside it.

He looks at his hand with the glove over it and then offers it once more but she doesn’t budge from the spot, Thomas hadn’t even entered the room yet but instead hid round the corner and listens, while doing so he peeks round to watch from the door, both of them in the room don’t even notice him.

Kieron lowers his hand slowly knowing she won’t take it, he grabs tight of the scythe with his right hand and begins to walk over to her slowly, she backs up a little only to bumps into the set of drawers, he continues to walk up to her, she opens her wing and shouts at him as he lifts his left hand and raises his hood over his head, his face shadowed by it.

He stops about three feet in front of her and raises his hand to point at her, her heart pounding, she looks about for a way to escape as she thought that this wasn’t a good thing he was doing, Thomas watching intently from the door. Kieron the flicks is finger upwards causing her to lift up and then slam against the wall, her head full of confusion causing her to not concentrate and so not be able to use her magic.

He grabs the scythe with both hands and pulls back ready to strike, her eyes open wide as she watches his pull it back to striking position, “Please don’t kill me, Kieron!” she pleads to him.

“I can’t kill, only hurt.” He replies before suddenly swinging forward and stabbing the scythe into her remaining wing and deep into the wall, her wing right away begins to bleed down to her chest then down a leg and onto the drawers. She screams at the top of her voice, he lets go of the scythe and pulls out a knife from under his cloak, jumps up onto the drawers then up at her using her to keep himself up, he then stabs it against the joint where the wing connects to the body, and cuts down towards the bottom of the wing, the flesh tearing easily, her scream getting louder by the second but yet no guards come.

He continues to cut at her wing but then Thomas barges into the room and uses his cane to attack the figure holding on to ‘Tia against the wall, he uses the cane to pull the figure off her and onto the ground, slamming it against as many things as possible and throw objects at it before throwing it out the balcony door and over the edge, he then runs over to Celestia who’s face is wet with tears of pain and leg covered in red blood. The drawers now having a small river of blood on them, he uses them to step up and tugs on the scythe but it doesn’t budge, suddenly Celestia jerk downwards a little as the flesh in her wing tears slightly.

She pushes him back and he lands on the floor on his backside, she then suddenly falls onto the drawers as the wing fully rips off, the drawers then collapse under the added weight and she lands on the floor in a pool of blood, Thomas quickly gets up and pulls out a stimpak like thing and injects it into her. It causes her blood to rush round quicker and clot the wound up much faster than normal, the wound within a few minutes in clotted over and her coat starts to grow over it.

Her breath heavy and fast, she slowly gets to her hooves and looks back at where both wing used to be, Thomas looks at her, “Princess Celestia, one of the only alicorns on the world, now a mere unicorn.” He comments as he looks at the wound that is now covered over, she looks at his sternly.

“No, I can’t believe he did that....I guess Luna is the only alicorns left.” She replies but as soon as she finishes talking they both hear a scream coming from within the castle, “Luna?” he asks him, he shrugs his shoulders and they both rush off to Luna’s room.

They arrive at her room but the doors are shut and two guards are pushing at them trying to open them, “They won’t budge your majesty......YOUR MAJESTY, YOUR WINGS!” he calls to her, she shakes her head trying not to think about it and uses her magic to teleport herself and Thomas into the room on the other side.

Once inside they can see her tied up on her bed, her legs all sprawled out in different directions, her mouth now gagged and body facing down, her head at the edge of the bed. The go to move but as they do the same figure from before in Celestia’s room appears from Luna’s bathroom with a large plasma-grinder, an energy version of an angle-grinder, he walks over to Luna without noticing them at the door.

He presses a button and lowers it down to her horn, both ‘Tia and Thomas freeze as they watch, not knowing what to do, he then moves the grinder against it and it begins to cut at the base of her horn. She doesn’t scream as she can’t feel a thing, her mind groggy, Thomas notices this, “She’s been drugged...” he comments quietly to Celestia who then looks at Luna’s face to see her eyes half open and pupils small, she was definitely drugged.

The figure had heard him; he knew that because it looked round to them while still cutting at Luna’s horn, soon the grinder had got half-way, the figure looks back at the head of the pony to see that he had cut a little too low and blood was seeping out, he correct the cut and stops the bleeding by rubbing his hand over it, just as Thomas goes to help Luna there is a scream from the foyer.

Celestia looks at Thomas as he looks back into the corridor; she then turns to see the figure facing them with Luna’s horn in hand, he throws it out of the window and then clicks his fingers causing his scythe to appear in his hand, he then quickly spins round and cuts all of the restraints, then runs past ‘Tia and Thomas into the corridor and down to the foyer with Thomas following but not too close.

‘Tia rushes over Luna and the two of them lay on the bed both in self sorrow about their losses of body part.
Thomas and Kieron soon get to the foyer to see Bloodshade eating at a guard, another four were laid on the floor around him; the amount of blood on the floor masked it like the floor had always been red. They slowly walk down the stairs, Thomas already knew that he can’t do much as Bloodshade was a creation, they can be unpredictable, and he looks at Kieron, “I think we found why the guards didn’t come to Celestia’s room.” Thomas comments.

Kieron then stops and explains to him, “I think I know why he is doing this, he was bitten by Luna in the mirror world, now a part of the mirror world has come to the real world and has caused him to go pretty much insane, and bloodthirsty.” He then continues to descend the stair, once the two of them reach the bottom Bloodshade right away looks up them and the dead guards start to twitch as if still alive, they stop as they watch the guards slowly get up and then look towards them, some having their sides ripped open, others fine but with a bite mark on them, they were almost like zombies.

“This shall be easy, I may not be able to kill those who are alive but these are already dead, time for some fun killing the dead.” Kieron says as he chuckles, Bloodshade looks at the hooded figure and snarls before flying for the front door, “Shit, we can’t let him get out.” He comments before jumping forwards with scythe in hand, he lands in the middle of the guards and the runs for the door, a metallic clang coming from his feet as he runs along the marble flooring.

One guard dives for him but only gets the cloak ripping it off him to reveal his power armour all around his body but the head and his left arm which is covered in bandages, he still runs for the door, quickly getting to it and pushes it shut stopping Bloodshade from getting out who slams right into it. He flies a little and dives for Kieron who swings the scythe to stabs it into his wing and then pin him to the door, he then punches him a couple of times before dropping down and pulling out two submachine guns and fires on the dead guards, they quickly fall down dead. He holsters them only to be startled by an alarm that sets off.

“Warning, gun shots detected, dispatching guard mechs and royal Talons.” A female voice calls out, almost right away some mechanical noises can be heard outside of the door, they then burst open, Bloodshade and the scythe flying across the room, Kieron turns to be faced by three guard mechs, he clicks his fingers and disappears then reappears next to Thomas then they both disappear. Bloodshade gets up to see the scythe gone; he looks over to the doors to see some ponies in power armour running in, he then pounces at them and bites one, then another, soon all of them have been bitten by them.

<Alverton, Thomas’ house>

They appear in the middle of the room, “Damn it, Bloodshade might get free now, since the ponies or people he bites seem to die and be half real, half mirror world, we shall call them the Fade, what you think?” he asks Thomas who drops his cane, knods and slumps on his chair, grabbing the bottle of scotch and drinking it in large gulps from the bottle.

“Drove you to drink, huh?” he says as he too sits on a chair but instead of having a drink he pulls out a sandwich and begins to eat it.

A lot has changed again, the ponies have had to put their land in full lockdown, nopony ever gets in or out because of the plague that spreads across the land known now as the Fade, which is lead by the malfunctioning creation of SEA, Bloodshade.

Chapter 4: The Viperox

Last chapter:

<Two years later>

The ponies have had to do the same with their cities, bases and facilities now in lockdown; they have halted all future creation so that they don’t have any other faults like Bloodshade, Kieron has been all over the planet sending the died to the other side but still remains deeply in team with SEA.

A plague has spread, the Fade have consumed life as if they were mere pawns in a chess game, the Fade have spread to almost every sub-major city on the humans side of the planet due to their suburb areas within every city, the Fade took advantage and have overwhelmed the cities but not in an unorganised feral type manner but as if they were intelligent and worked in a pack hunting its prey.

The only cities that have managed to survive any over whelming spreads where Alverton, which has quickly put into full quarantine before the Fade could enter, and the city of Chronus which is currently in a half dead state, the city was able to stop the Fade from spreading further in the city but it has managed to take over 50% of the city and so they are fighting to contain the Fade before they can take the whole of the city.

No pony cities have been taken by the Fade but there have been small villages across Equestria that have had reports of ponies acting weirdly and possibly infected, Ponyville not being one of these villages.

The Fade have taken the human city of Manhattan which is now known as plague central due to it being the most dense area where the Fade reside, but they life there as if there was no plague, they life normally like any other people would except from there being ponies living there too.

<Alverton, Kieron’s house, 11:30PM>

He is laid on his bed with his cloak laid flat across the bed; his scythe hung on the wall by a pair of skeleton hands that project from the wall. He lays and thinks about the last four years as Death, his job is good for the fact he can now teleport and experience the ability of using ‘magic’ but it is getting boring with him not being able to kill, the old days were much better, all that death that he caused back then, those were the days where he really was death.

Moonshine walks into the house and doesn’t bat two eyelids whether he was asleep or not, she walks over to the bed and lays on it next to him and snugs up before closing her eyes to go to sleep, he lifts his arm to look at her, never seeing her like this before, in fact never at this time at all as she would normally be out and about with somepony else or at someone’s house doing things that people thought wasn’t possible for a pony.

He lowers his arm to lay it on her, her body warm and slightly sweaty, he rolls his eyes as he knew right away why she’s sweaty, “Trust you Moonshine....” he comments before closing his eyes and then adding, “You know what, I don’t want this job anymore, hear that world, I no longer want to be Death!” he shouts before getting up causing Moonshine to roll of the bed and fall onto the floor, he takes off the cloak and begins to unravel the bandages covering the whole of his left arm, as they come off he stares at the bones under them, the flesh from the shoulder starting to grow over them as his title starts to fade from him, allowing him to be just the ordinary person he was before the explosion.

The flesh quickly covers his arm so that when he pulls off the final part of the bandage the skin is already there and showing, he drops them onto the floor and they just turn to dust along with the cloak and scythe which are blown away by a gust of wind that comes from nowhere as no windows are open.

He looks over to where the scythe was and whimpers as he watches the dust blow out the front door that Moonshine forgot to close, he walks over to the door and watches the dust fly off, “Thanks Moonshine, I really wanted to keep that scythe...”

“But you...”

“Your fault, not mine, yours....” he blames before walking over to the bed once more and falls onto it with his legs hanging off the end, Moonshine pops her head over the side of the bed to look at him, he quickly lifts his hand over his head to grab right onto her head and pulls her over him and onto the bed, “If you’re going to sleep here you might as well get comfy, I won’t be going to sleep yet.” He comments before letting go of her and she sits looking at him.

“Great, that means I can...”

“No Moonshine, that’s called incest. I won’t allow that....” he barks at her as he interrupts her mid-sentence. He lifts up to sit on the bed, as he does he slaps her across the face to punish her for the remark she was about to say, Treacle walks into the house with a trolley and stops to see Kieron sat on the edge of the bed with Moonshine laid on it, sweaty and moaning in pain.

“Kieron.....please tell me haven’t just....please no.”

“What....?” he says before looking back at Moonshine then sharply turns back to her, “OH GOD NO, JESUS TREACLE!!” he shouts in disgust, “I would never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever do such a thing that disgusting.” He adds, she pushes the trolley towards the bed.

“You rip up people for fun...” she claims.

“Touché.” He replies as he points at her in agreement.

She stops and pulls the cover off the trolley as Moonshine sits herself up and rubs at her face where Kieron slapped her, he watches as Treacle pulls back the cover and his face changes completely as he looks at the trolley full of the best sweets foods she has ever made in her life, “Tuck in.” She comments before throwing the cover on the bed and jumping onto the bed to watch as he struggles to decide what to eat first, “Try the lemon flan.” She says to him to try and get him started.

“NO! I am going to have the strawberry flan....actually; I’ll have the Treacle Tart...now that just sounds wrong.” He comments as he looks back at her, to see her pinned to the bed with Moonshine on top of her, their lips locked, “Moonshine, what did I just tell you about incest.” He asks as he tries to keep calm.

She lifts her head, a smack coming from her lips as they come apart, “That if I was to shag you that would be incest, but this is Treacle, not you...now if you don’t mind.” She says before locking lips with Treacle once more, Kieron picks up the lemon flan form the trolley, picks up a fork and shuffles back on the bed to lay against the headrest, he lift the fork with a piece of flan on it and goes to put it in his mouth but stops as he gives a shifty look at the two next to him, a couple of moans erupt from Treacle’s mouth as Moonshine rubs quickly at her.

He rolls his eyes and bend his legs as he can feel the bed sheets getting damp, he shoves the fork into his mouth and tries to ignore them, he suddenly remembers something and puts the plate down to his left, he wouldn’t want to put it to his right as those two are there, he shoves his hand into a pocket and pulls out a pair of earphones along with a MP3 player holographic style, puts the earphones into each ear and puts on some heavy metal which drowns out the noises coming from the two of them, he picks up the plate and starts to eat it as he closes his eyes to block out all way of knowing they were laid next to him.

Thomas knocks on the door, only for no reply to come, he pushes the door ajar and is greeted by multiple moans, she must be close to the climax, he pops his head inside and can see Moonshine on top of Treacle with Kieron sat right next to them, his eyes closed but mouth moving, he knew Kieron was awake because of this, “KIERON!” he shouts but gets no reply from any off them, he turns and walks away from the awkwardness coming from the house.

He passes Rylie who is heading for Kieron’s house, “Don’t Rylie, you won’t want to go in there, not right now.” He advises him, he salutes and continues to the house anyway.

He turns back and shouts back to him, “I’ve seen really bad things in my life, I don’t think it can be worse than what I’ve ever seen.” He then walks up the house and pops his head in through the door, only to be greeted by a large moan coming from Treacle as she reaches climax and Moonshine keeps going, soon more moans, then more, all really loud as if she was screaming, Kieron with his earphones in still manages to hear it and pulls out the MP3 player and turns it up then places it down on the bed and closes his eyes.

Rylie slowly turns, with eyes wide in shock and walks away as if he had just had his mind raped. Thomas is sat on a bench and as Rylie passes him he comments, “Any luck? Didn’t think so.” He then bangs the cane on the floor to teleport him home but as soon as he does an earthquake scale shockwave rushes through the ground below, Rylie quickly snaps out of it and pulls out a holographic screen to see buildings collapsing in the city below, soon a large ship like object starts to rise from the outskirts of the city, he then looks in the distance to see some faint lights of some large objects in the night sky, had an invasion by the ponies been sprung?

Mathis then begins to talk over the speakers, “Warning, we have an unidentified invasion in progress, the units are highly advanced but lack shields, they aren’t of pony origin, they are much older, it’s the ancients, they’ve come to take their planet back, repeat the Viperox has risen.”

Chapter 5: An old fight

Kieron stays sat on the bed with his eyes closed while listening to his music which drowns out the noise of the alarms, Treacle and Moonshine and stopped, their ears both pricked right up to listen to the noise that fills the room, Moonshine rolls over and kicks at Kieron’s leg with her back legs, he quickly opens his eyes and pulls out the earphone to go and shout at her but stops as he hears the alarms, he listens for a bit before jumping off the bed and rushing over to the door to see SEA ships engaging other ships that he’d never seen before.

“Moonshine, take care and Treacle and look after the house....wait, no let Treacle do the looking after, I don’t trust you...I’ll be back before you know it.” He says as he runs over to his cupboard and pulls out the backpack, puts it on and presses a button to unfold it around him, he then grabs a sniper rifle from the cupboard, closes it and storms off out the house to Thomas’ house.

He runs across the edge of the floating part of the city to get a clean path to the house, as he runs at full speed a Viperox ship slowly raises up from under the floating platform, he turns his head to look at the large ship raise and turn to face him, he continues to run as if nothing was there, an unknown language emits from it, he shakes his head and ignores it, the main guns then lower and light can be seen coming from down the barrels, he turns his head once more to look down them, just as he goes to jump at the ship to dodge it suddenly moves down as something hits against it.

He stops and observes to see that three Havoc mechs had collided with it at orbital dropping speed; the three then start to engage in CQC and rip it apart with their energy blades. He looks over the edge to watch then raises a hand to his forehead then sharply pushes away before heading for the house once more.

He quickly gets to the house and barges in to see Thomas and Mathis stood looking at a hologram of the whole planet with multiple red dots marking the unknown ships, blue dots representing SEA ships and units, he slowly approaches them to look at the hologram, there were more blue dots then red, something like four blue dots per red dot but there was more and more red dots appearing per minute as they emerge from under the surface of the planet, “Grand Master, what is going on? Who are these unknown hostiles?” he question, Thomas turns and points at the hologram.

“I should really have told you about them before, years ago. They are the creators of this and the Elements...” he explains, raising his cane to show him, Kieron’s eyes grow large.

“You mean the ancients are...”

“Yes Kieron, they are real and now they are wanting their planet back, I don’t know much about them apart from that they created both objects, they are powerful but lack the defensive abilities that we possess, oh and the mechs we have.” He explains, he turns to face the hologram once more to see that a large increase in Viperox ships emerging in the Equestria area, suddenly a large amount of green dots appear on the hologram and surround the red dots, they came out of nowhere.

“Mathis, get us visuals...” he orders, Mathis puts a hand to his head before causing the hologram to turn from a globe to that of a camera screen, it was a satellite image coming from the Fenrir which was positioned over Equestria, the image zooms right in to see the Viperox ships engaging with some other ships that closely resemble IRIS, UEFDC and SEA ships, it took Thomas a while but then realises that it could only be ships created by the ponies, they must have scavenged the down and destroyed ships over the past wars and rebuilt them for their own use, but they look far more advanced as if they had been upgraded, no ponies could have done this, not without human help.

Again he suddenly realises that humans had trading with ponies for quite some time, they must have set up a black market and have had humans working for them, “Damn them, they will pose a great threat...” he comments just as the last Viperox ships is quickly decimated by the pony ships.

He strikes the hologram with his cane and sharply turns to face Kieron who salutes, “Get into you mech, get over there and kill them damn ponies...actually, better idea, kill the head of the snake and the body dies, understand?” he order, Kieron knods with a large grin on his face, he then turns and walks out of the room before pressing a button on the back of his shoulder and his helmet unfolding around his head, he then charges off towards the mech hanger as Viperox pass right over the city not noticing it as SEA ships pursue them.

He quickly reaches the nearest hanger where his mech, Ambush, is waiting along with Rylie who has just got his mech up and running and is stood at the hanger doors waiting for him as other mechs dash past him out of the hanger, “Hurry up mate, we ain’t got all night!” He shouts as Kieron quickly climbs up the frames of the gangway and dives into the open core of Ambush, he powers it up and the core closes, “Tonight would be good ya know, mate.” He calls as he gets a little impatient as the fight rages on, explosions going off in all directions, guns firing everywhere and shouting from soldiers along with boosters blaring and engines roaring.

Ambush powers up and he walks over to the doors, stops and then activates booster soon coming to full power and then jumps up allowing the boosters to erupt and the mech is shot forward, Rylie turns and quickly catches up to him, the both of them dodging any shots fired at them by the Viperox and avoiding any ships that get in the way, they ignore any chance to attack and leaves it for the SEA ships to deal with.

“Princesses, we have taken down all of the Viperox ships, we are now falling back to Canterlot to gather forces.” A female computer voice says to the two princesses that are sat in a large command room that is deep in the castle, “Wait, oh crap, we have more Viperox emerging, engaging all of them, total of 12 ships.” The voice says as Celestia looks at a radar screen on the dots suddenly coming up onto it. Luna stood watching a screen which is a camera view of the battle from their capital ship, a copy of the Fenrir, known as ‘Harmonious Wrath’.

A pony turns to face them, “Princesses, we have two small units incoming, they’re moving too fast to detect whether they are friend or foe, shall we engage?” it asks, Celestia shakes her head before ordering for some ships to manoeuvre round and flank the Viperox ships, “The units are moving in face princess, they’re heading right for us.” He calls out, Celestia ignore his last comment but Luna takes it into account before running out of the room to head for a small secret mech hanger they have inside the castle.

She quickly reaches it and jumps into the core, the mech already powered up, she closes the core and walks out of a passageway that ends up just outside the Canterlot gardens, she exits and stops to survey the sky to see the two units approaching, she activates booster and engages them, she soon comes head on with them, she opens fire on them as they dodge and quickly wiz past her at high speed, as she turns she can only see one now heading for the castle, one of the mechs was gone, she looks about only to be struck from behind as it exits cloaking and attacks her, stunning the mech for a bit then heading to join the other mech.

The two mechs quickly reach the castle and land down in front of the main doors, Ambush drops his guns and swings both arms out to the side as energy blade burst from them, Rylie looks at him then at the castle, “Orders are to kill the princesses, I say we kill them all, much more fun and more likely to confirm their deaths.” Kieron says before running at the castle and swings his arm to cut a large slice in the wall before punching with the other to knock the wall down, inside there are loads of ponies running about, some crushed by the rubble, others run off in fear while some stop and open fire on him, Rylie then opens fire them before being knocked to the side by a missile from Luna.

Kieron turns to face the mech as Rylie gets up and joins Kieron, soon another mech lands down next to Luna, he then comments to them as he points at them, “Ah, we found you, well....you found us actually but either way was fine, now princesses, you need to die.”

Chapter 6: Uprising

Last chapter: The two mechs quickly reach the castle and land down in front of the mane doors, Ambush drops his guns and swings both arms out to the side as energy blade burst from them, Rylie looks at him then at the castle, “Orders are to kill the princesses, I say we kill them all, much more fun and more likely to confirm their deaths.” Kieron says before running at the castle and swings his arm to cut a large slice in the wall before punching with the other to knock the wall down, inside there are loads of ponies running about, some crushed by the rubble, others run off in fear while some stop and open fire on him, Rylie then opens fire them before being knocked to the side by a missile from Luna.

Kieron and Rylie stand as they look at the two mechs in front of them, the princesses mechs weren’t as advanced as the human’s mechs, they were more bulky and had an attachment on the ends of the arms that spins round to switch weapons rather than a back weapon unfolding, missiles were hidden inside the shoulders rather than being held on the side of the shoulders.

Ambush takes a step forwards only for the shoulders on Celestia’s mech, Shining Glory, to open fire on him and the shoulders open for some missiles to burst out and fly at him, he takes evasive action and quick boosts out of the way, Rylie doing the same to dodge the stray missiles, he then takes aim and opens fire on Shining Glory, Kieron enters cloak while he is out of sight, Luna in her mech, Eternal Shadow, searches for him as she also fires a few sniper rounds at Rylie, her mech kneeling down with the sniper cannon unfolded and a shield on the left leg deployed to help protect the stationary mech, she manually takes aim and fires, the round propels at high speed and impacts against Rylie’s mech causing him to fall back as he is boosting and land in large bush, the mech easily crushing them.

Just as Eternal Shadow folds up the cannon and stands tall Ambush uncloaks behind her and pulls an arm back to strike but is taken by surprise as Shining Glory suddenly slides up next to him and pulls back an arm then slams it into the core as the laser blade emits, the blade slicing right through the core and poking out of the other side, Rylie watching gets up and over boosts at Shining Glory only for her to pull the blade out and dodge back out of the way, the two of them then boost away to flee the battle and leave Kieron to die if he wasn’t already dead. Rylie hits into a wall then pushes off the wall to pop out of the mech imprint now in the wall, he rushes over to Ambush and punches the core then pulls with both hands to open it up, inside he can see Kieron sat in the chair with his armour on.

He stares for a second only to see a small stream of blood starting to flow out from a huge gash in his side, Kieron looks down at the wound slowly, and calmly comments, “Ow” before putting a hand to it and then looking at the blood on his hand, he then slowly gets up out of the seat and climbs out of the mech as Rylie holds it open, he falls out and onto the floor with a loud grunt, Rylie lets go and then looks about for anything only to have Shining Glory barge right into him and causes him to fly back into the castle wall again but this time shuts down so that he can’t move.

Celestia opens the core to her mech and jumps down to meet Kieron who is laid on the floor with his arms tightly wrapped round his stomach area, she stops as she looks down at him, he slowly looks up at her with a piercing gaze, his eyes begin to close as his arm start shuddering and his body going into shock, he overcomes the threat of dying once more and turns over and pushes off the floor to slowly get to his feet, Celestia backing up a little as he does.

Once on his feet he goes to turn to face her only to have a huge, long, white horn stab right through his chest and poking out of the front, he raises a hand to go and grab the horn but at the same time he doesn’t want to touch it in case it does more damage, he gasp several time as she lifts her head up raise him off the floor.

He stares at the horn as she grins, looking up at him, blood running out of him and down over her face, down her neck and dripping onto the floor like a little river, his body starting to feel weak as he starts to lose the will to live. Suddenly a figure teleports behind her causing her to turn her head quickly, throwing Kieron off and slam against the ground, she looks to see a human with a cane, it is the one and only Grand Master, Thomas Naythorpe.

He raises his cane and uses it to push her into the nearest wall then drag her across the floor towards him, he looks down at her as she looks up with sorrowful eyes, “Hmm, you’re getting weaker princess, or I’m getting to good for you.”
She tries to move but he lift her into the air and then looks over to Kieron who is pretty much clinging on to life, he throws her down into the ground and then uses his cane to lift Ambush up and slowly move it over her, he then suddenly drops it while teleporting Kieron and him out of there, Rylie already gone from the indent in the wall.

Twilight is heading for the library when she is stopped by Pinkie who bounces by like she always does, she watches her go by, taking a quick look at the distant explosion and battle that are taking place, “We are really putting up a good fight, I hope we can last till we find out what they are...” she says to herself before looking towards Canterlot to see a flash of light and a mech travelling away from the castle, at first she has no reaction but as she watches another mech lands down behind her and the core suddenly open throwing the pilot out.

She dashes over to it to see Luna against the floor; she lifts her head to spit out a mouthful of mud, “Twilight Sparkle, I need you to come with me right now. Canterlot is in danger, ‘Tia is in danger. Gather your friends we must help her...” she orders, just then a large beam of light shoots up from Canterlot castle and moments later a loud thud comes from behind them as mech crashes down in a heap of metal.

A loud static noise can be heard all around as a large flame like aura surrounds the castle, a loud voice then calls out, “I WILL KILL ALL THOSE DAMN HUMANS!” Twilight stands and stares at the castle as she looks at the aura, it could only be from one thing, a really pissed off princess. Luna glances at it after taking her eyes off the mech and gasp.

“Oh my, I don’t think ‘Tia is happy. We should go anyway, we need to get your friends to safety in case of a SEA attack, and I don’t think we could hold off both of them.” She claims before pushing at Twilight who looks back at her only to be in shock to see that she has no horn but a circular stub where one used to be.

“Princess, your horn, what happened?” she asks, Luna stops pushing, looks up with her eyes to look, sighs and continues to push at her, Twilight starts to walk normally and the both of them start to round up the others.

When they get all of the other bar Fluttershy the explosions in the distance stop as all of the Viperox ships are destroyed, Twilight leads them towards the cottage only for a tall figure to block them, it was very similar in fact exactly like Zeldax, it was a splitting image of Zeldax, if she didn’t know better it was him but something was off, the armour it was wearing, it was old style and wasn’t anything like what Zeldax was like.

She looks at the figure and goes to walk round it but it pulls out a handle for a sword which then jerks as a beam emits from it to complete the sword. She right away knew this couldn’t be good, as she again goes to walk around it the figure lifts the sword and shouts in an language that none of them had ever heard, it then charges at them with the sword high above its head, Luna pushes the others back and stands protective over them, she goes to use her magic but nothing happens, she then remembers that she doesn’t have a horn anymore.

“Yep, we’re bucked.” She says to herself as she prepares to be hit by the sword, moments later the creature is crushed against the ground as ‘Tia lands on it from a high altitude in power armour, she looks down at the creature and unfolds the helmet.

“My big arse did THAT?” she asks only to have Luna facehoof in despair, she gets up to see the creature dead as its neck has been broken from the weight landing on it. She looks at it once more before turning to face them, “So what are you lot doing?” she asks them, Twilight looks at the others then over to Fluttershy’s cottage.

“Getting them all to safety, those things will eventually get in and SEA won’t be far behind them.” Luna replies. They all then head for the cottage, once there Twilight knocks on the door only for a quiet voice inside to tell them to go away, after a little persuading she opens the door to see her stood waiting for her, she opens the door more to see Luna and the others then ‘Tia stood facing the other way in full power armour.

She slams the door shut only for it to open by Twilight’s magic, she looks at the armoured figure and cowers down onto the floor, “Fluttershy, what are you doing?”

“That pony looks scary, who is it?”

“Umm...the princess of course, silly”

“But I know that the princess has a wing after one was cut off, that’s just a unicorn.” She replies, just then ‘Tia turns to face her and the helmet folds up to show her face, “It IS the princess, oh my, I’m so sorry.” She says as she bows.

“No time, we gotta go sugarcube.” Applejack buts in as she points at the approaching group of Viperox soldiers heading for them, “Now would be a good time to go y’all.” She adds before grabbing at Fluttershy’s leg and starts to pull at her, the others then start to head for the library where they can hold out for a little while; Celestia takes position in front to stop the soldiers while they get away.

She stands and watches as they run towards her, swords held out high and some out to the sides, as they get closer she starts to concentrate her magic ready to attack, suddenly the soldiers are swept away to the side as a mech slide across the ground to a halt, crushing some of them and throwing the others of into the distance, the mech looks at her and knods its head at her before jumping up and boosting away to attack another group of soldiers over by Sugarcube corner, she stands and watches to see that the mech is not attacking ponies but protecting them, have the humans decided to help them? They can’t be, Kieron attacked her and Luna, but here is one helping them.

She thinks about it as she watches the mech shoot and slice at soldiers and Viperox dropships. As she watches, some Viperox ships slow down overhead and get ready to open fire, suddenly some SEA ships come out of cloak they are travelling at some speed, their main guns quickly charge up and open fire on the Viperox ships as they pass over them, the ancient ships stand no chance as they explode into flames, but then a large beam emits from the darkness over by where the Everfree forest used to be, the beam hits a SEA ship and causes it to go down just past Canterlot, the other ships then head away while some fighters exit form them and fly over to where the beam came from at really high speed, missiles and lasers firing all over the place.

She watches it all going on but then is distracted when a Viperox soldier jumps down from the cottage roof at her but is intercepted in mid-air by a Talon who tackles it to the ground and they engage in unarmed combat, she looks at them but then sweeps the area to see that there are more Viperox soldiers entering the area around Canterlot and Ponyville, but then suddenly huge amounts of SEA forces come out of cloak and she can see Talons, mechs, and soldiers all stood ready to fight, guarding the area, they must be making up at least 50% of the population here.

She finishes sweeping the area and heads for the library to catch up with the others, along the way she can see Viperox soldiers stabbing at SEA soldiers but then some Talons jump down from the building roves and literally rip them apart with laser blades. She quickly gets to the library to see that they have already got it barricaded. She knocks on the front door only to be shouted to go away, she rolls her eyes and uses her magic to teleport inside, they all turn to face her quickly with anything they can use as weapons, they lower then slowly as they realise it is her and they all settle down thinking that they will be safe here for the night.

<Alverton, Kieron’s house>

Thomas helps Kieron up onto his bed then walks over to a table where Kieron always, always keeps any type of first aid in the off chance that he might ever need it, he picks up a stimpak and pulls off the safety cover, Kieron groaning as he takes deep breaths to keep conscious, Thomas walks over to him and rubs at a patch on him arm to numb it slightly, “Now Kieron, you’ll feel a slight prick.” He says before stabbing the needle into his arm brutally. Kieron shouts out in pain and then lowers his head onto the pillow as the pain dies down quickly, the stimpak taking immediate effect.

He exhales as he starts to feel better; Thomas walks out of the house to leave to get better, on the way out Mathis begins to tell him whether Kieron will survive or not, “Sir, he will get better but due to the rapid healing and shock to his body he may experience psychological downsides, in other words, he might become a bit insane or crazy.” Thomas looks into the house at Kieron but then closes the door and heads home.

Chapter 7: Deceitful trust of humans

<Manehattan>

The city has been attacked by Viperox forces but the Fade has intercepted these attacks and now has spread to numerous ships that now roam the air space over the city. They have also managed to finally overcome the defences in Chronus that have fallen by Viperox attacks, the Fade has got through them and is now spreading to the remains of the city and into the Viperox ships without any notice from the ponies and the ponies, and the infection is spreading farther and farther with every day.

A SEA soldier is running down a street as is being chased down by at least seven Fades, two ponies and the rest human, he runs round a corner and is confronted by numerous Viperox soldiers, without even thinking he jumps up and kicks off the head of one of them only to fly over the rest of them and land on the other side, he looks back to see the soldiers turning to face and ready to attack but then shout out on confusion as the Fade bump into them and start to bite at them, while the two sides are fighting he runs off down the street to get away as far as possible. This soldier luckily wasn’t just any soldier but was a Talon that had been stationed there long ago to help with the Fade breakout.

He reaches a low building that is dwarfed by the many skyscrapers surrounding it, atop of the building were some other soldiers guarding, one looks down to see him and waves an arm to tell him to get up there, he runs inside and closes the door just as a large crowd of Fades start to swarm the area, some ponies, most humans and now some even Viperox.

He reaches the roof rather quickly and they all get into a dropship, the survivors only reaching a total of about 16 people, the doors close as he gets one last glance of the city, the engines ignite and the dropship is thrown up into the air then forward as they twist forward.

Over the radio a voice can be heard, “All survivors in the area of Chronus, please evacuate ASAP, the Grand Master has ordered the destruction of the city. Repeat, evacuate the city ASAP, the city will be bombed at 0200 hours.” The pilot then look at the radio to see a small image saying, ‘Message sent at 1:24AM’ he looks at the clock on the HUD only for it to say ‘1:58AM’ he panics as he looks back at the passengers getting ready calmly knowing they will be fine, as the dropship starts to move away from the city centre he can see a large dropship heading towards them with two Havoc mechs escorting it, the mechs then break formation, the bay doors below the plane open and a flash of light coming from below it.

He knew right away that it was a missile, the light coming from it was blue not the usual orange, just then he knew it was an Element X bomb, SEA was taking no chances, the missile is heading right for them, he grabs the stick and pulls hard to the right just in time so that the missile flies past them, some of the passengers not even in their seats yet are thrown to the left side of the dropship as they bank hard.

He levels out the plane and hits a button saying ‘Emergency over boost’, he looks back at them and shouts, “Get into your seats, NOW!” they then clamber up into any of the spare seats and quickly clip themselves in, the engines glow bright as they firstly start using the afterburner, the bomber already turned round and heading the other way, the mechs long gone. He watches a small part of his HUD which shows the missile after he locked onto it; it soon reaches the city centre and hits dead on the middle of the city. The boosters activate and the dropship is thrown forward at immense speed, the pilot and passengers experiencing at least 6G’s of force pushing on them, one of them even passing out from the G’s, the pilot using his training to keep conscious as he manoeuvres the dropship past the many Viperox ships the fill the air, and the SEA ships.

The dropship somehow avoids all shots that fly past them and hit SEA ships, and vice versa. They soon come to see Alverton in sight; the boosters suddenly shut off along with all other power, the HUD goes dead, the pilot panics as he presses the ignition buttons and pulls in some switches to try a manual re-boot but nothing happens, the dropship starts to lose altitude as the altitude meter starts to tick back at high speed, 12000ft....9000ft....5000ft, he looks back at the others and shouts at them to brace for impact, just then the dropship hits a low flying Viperox ship and bounces off to crash into the ground, the dropship digging into the ground as it slows down, soon coming to a full stop and a trail showing where it has slid across the ground.

The crew disembark quickly and ready their weapons to see Viperox ships in the distance, nothing was in the local area of them, and they get out along with the unconscious soldier of a stretcher, all of them then head towards Alverton on foot.

As they get closer they can see a Havoc mech heading in their direction, one soldier pulls out some flares and cracks them so that the blinding light erupts from them, he runs forwards while waving them like mad, the mech begins to fall and it starts to land, it must have seen them. The soldier drops the flares and heads back to the others to help only for them to look past him and start to run the other way, he turns to see the mech heading right for them as if they weren’t there, he goes to run but didn’t have enough time as the mech lands right on him and grinds across the floor, throwing piece of him up into the air.

The others run and shoot pot-shots at the mech but it stops and the core opens, they quickly dive into a crater that had been created by a stray missile, the pilot of the mech jumps out and runs towards them, they pop their head over the edge to see it coming right at them, they pull out their guns and start to open fire on it. As it gets close a large explosion blinds as it erupts behind the figure, a Viperox ship had been hit by a hyper-velocity round coming from Alverton, the ships falling to the ground in a pile of scrap metal.

They look around to find the figure gone, they search for it but they can see nothing but darkness and the Viperox ship plus Alverton in the distance, the pilot and soldier staying with the stretcher to make sure the soldier is alright. Suddenly the pilot collapses after something snaps his neck, the soldier with him pulls out his pistol and aims at the pilot then around him, nothing was about, his breathing heavy as he searches, “HAY, something’s here!” he shouts to the other who turn to see the soldier collapse as his head is ripped off and a laser blade coming out of nowhere.

They open fire on where it is only to hit the ground and the head fall to the floor, one by one the other soldiers start to fall to the ground by gunshots at necks breaking or being stabbed, soon only the Talon and two soldiers are left stood at the edge of the crater with a pile of bodies in the centre of it.

“SCREW THIS, MAN!” one of the soldiers shouts as he finally cracks and climbs out of the crater and legs it for Alverton, the others try to stop him but he’s already gone, they then run off after him to catch up as they would be better off in a group than separated.

They now and then look back to see nothing but the mech that came to them and some Viperox and SEA ships in the distance, the sky now a dark red thanks to the raging war.

They keep running but don’t look back any more, one of them trips over but the other soldier keeps running, the Talon stops and goes back for him, the soldier on the floor scurries to his feet but is lifted into the air, the Talon sees this and charges for behind the soldier at full speed, the power armour allowing him to go at least twice the speed of a human, the soldier it stabbed by the laser blade from before but then is quickly thrown to the side as the Talon shoulder dives at it and hits something.

The Talon and the figure fall to the ground; he quickly raises a hand to punch only to see the helmet of the figure fold back and can see that it is Kieron; he rears his head in confusion, Kieron grins with a manic look upon his face, his pupils tiny and a scar over his eye and down his cheek.

The Talon falls back off him and stares at him as Kieron slowly gets up and walks over to him, the helmet folds around his head before a slightly muffled voice says to him, “You now will die, the infection can’t be allowed to spread.”

He pulls back an arm and the laser blade emits from his arm, the Talon objecting while scurrying back along the floor as he knows he isn’t infected. Kieron walks towards him as he tries to get away, just as Kieron goes to thrust down at him a gunshot impacts and causes him to stumble back a few steps, he looks over to where it came from to, he can see the remaining soldier running towards him with gun out aiming at him.

Another shot hits him and once he gets balance he runs for the soldier who fires again but Kieron dodges then turn invisible as he cloaks, the Talon shouting to tell him to run. The soldier stops and looks about for the figure, shoots a few rounds to see if they hit something, the Talon gets up and switches his visual to thermal to see Kieron slowly sneaking up to the soldier from the side, he runs over to the soldier without Kieron seeing and pulls at him causing Kieron to fall to the ground as he dives for him.

The Talon runs with the soldier over his shoulder, somehow still able to run as fast as before, Kieron quickly gets up, roars at them then takes pursuit, the soldier trying his best to aim at him as they try to get away.

They soon come to the border that was set up for protection of Alverton, the Talon doesn’t even show ID as they right away know he is one and quickly open the gates for them to get in, once through the gates begin to shut, just as they are almost shut, Kieron pushes himself through the gap, his cloak coming off as he does and the gates end up with a Kieron sized hole in the joint where the two doors join.

The guards witness this and run after him not realising it to be him, they chase down the figure down many streets after he loses the Talon and soldier but then noticed them running after him, he leads them down to a dead end and puts his hands against the wall then turns to face the many guards stood with guns aimed at him.

“Kieron...hey, Kieron, WAKE UP!” he hears as someone shouts.

He suddenly wakes up to see Moonshine stood with a bag in her mouth, she puts it down on the table and walks over to him, “It was all a dream?” he asks, she looks at him as if he wasn’t right in the head.

“What was? Never mind, your wounds are healing really quickly, in fact I would say they HAVE healed, you can get up now if you want to.”

“Since when did you get a degree in being a nurse?”

“Hay, you may be better but it doesn’t call for any sarcasm.”

“Fine...” he says before looking over to the bag then putting his head back down on the pillow to rest for a bit and think about the dream, the light coming in from outside, it must be at least 12:30PM looking at the bright light coming in.

Moonshine goes to leave but then stops and looks back, “By the way, did you hear about the soldiers that got killed not far from here, they were survivors from Chronus.” She says before walking out of the house, Kieron lifts up quickly to look at her but she was gone, it WASN’T a dream after all, he puts a hand to his face as he can’t believe that he did that to them.

<Thomas’ house>

Thomas pits the key into the slot and turns only for the key to turn most of the way =and then suddenly stop, it was already open, he looks up at the door, pulls out the key and pushes the door open, he walks inside and looks about, no-one was about, “I must have forgotten to lock it when I went out, ha ha ha.” He says to himself, just then he looks over to the table next to his chair to see a briefcase, he walks towards it and his chair jerks as something gets off it.

It was Claire, she gets up and stands behind the case, “Claire, what are you doing here?”

“I brought you a gift, a present for you, I think you will like it, no, love it.”

“Oh really, is it port, scotch or whiskey?”

“No, none of them, something much better, much more invaluable.” She replies before undoing the clips as he walks over to it, she pulls back the lid to reveal six tiaras, all with a jewel at the top of them, all different colours.

“Claire, is that.....the Elements?” he asks as he gently picks up one to look into the jewel to see his reflection.

“Yes, yes they are, I told you that you would like them. If you don’t know why then I will tell you why I went and got them.” She says to him, he looks at her while putting the tiara back, “We can turn them from being the Elements of Harmony into the Elements of Chaos, we will use them to rule this planet and wipe out all of them.” She adds.

He looks at her with a tear in his eye, his evil trait has finally rubbed off on someone, and he puts a hand on her cheek and comments, “Well done Claire, you may have just turned the tide of this war.”

Chapter 8: Repulsion

Last chapter: “Claire, is that.....the Elements?” he asks as he gently picks up one to look into the jewel to see his reflection.

He looks at her with a tear in his eye, his evil trait has finally rubbed off on somepony, and he puts a hoof on her cheek and comments, “Well done Claire, you may have just turned the tide of this war.”

Chronus is no longer around; Cloudsdale has become captured by the Viperox as they are pushed back and surrounded by SEA and pony forces, Equestria is finally free from all Viperox attacks and the SEA forces has left to push them back, Alverton is the only human city that has been untouched by any attacks, all other human cities have been devastated by the Fade.

The grand Master has mysteriously disappeared from Alverton along with Claire, the only people who know of his current location is Kieron, Mathis and Moonshine, who listened in on a conversation he had once.

Kieron has unfortunately had a few episodes where he has gone a bit insane, the most disturbing one being where he had completely lost it and ran down the city centre butt naked, he ran past many shops where everyone could see, as he passed on of the shops, Thomas could see him running down the street and then see Moonshine pop her head out of the shop door to watch Kieron streaking, her personality then kicks in and she chases him down only to have Treacle running after her to try and stop her.

<Kieron’s house>

He is sat on a chair looking at the front door as if he was waiting for someone. He sits like lamb salad on the chair, not moving a muscle until Moonshine opens the door and walks in, as she does he scrunches up on the chair to hide his face like a little child, “Get out Moonshine, I can’t be bothered with anyone today....” he says from behind his legs. She looks over to him after searching the room.

“Have you seen Treacle anywhere?”

He lifts his head from behind his legs and stares at her, “How the fuck would I know?”

“Wow, you are in a foul mood today.” she says before walking over to him and putting her head on his knees to look into his eyes.

“Come any closer to my face and I will rip your head off, you whore.”

“Ok, you need to calm down, what got you in this bad mood, hmm?” she asks as she pulls up a chair and sits next to him while stoking his hair, he quickly lifts up and pushes her hoof away. She tries to cuddle with him to make him feel better but he just pushes her away and then gets up out of the chair, unfolds his power armour then walks out of the house leaving her there wondering what the hay he’s up to.

She runs up to a window and pokes her head out to watch him; he walks over top the edge of the floating part of the city, looks back at her, his helmet folds up to reveal a large grin on his face, he then slowly leans over the edge and lets himself fall off the edge, she jumps forward out of the window only to get to no further, she rushes over to the edge and watches him fall, she can see him falling with his arms out up at her as if he wanted her to join him.

She goes to jump but stops herself as she watches, he fall faster but then as he gets close to the ground he spins round to face the floor and just as he lands he punches the ground so that he lands head down and fist in the floor, the concrete cracked and a small crater made from the impact, he stands up tall and looks up at her with a sinister look, she stares at him as if he was right in front of her, he then start to walk away while looking at her then looks forward towards the border of Alverton.

Treacle is in Canterlot walking down a street looking for some things to buy from the market as she is competing in an annual bake-off held in Canterlot despite the current events. She walks over to one stall then the next looking for the right things to get that will make her products much better and different to the others. She looks behind to see a market stall selling some of the right things for her, she walks over towards it only to be rudely barged past by a blue pony, “Oh, I’m sorry.” She says to the pony that looks back at her.

“Watch where you are going, will you.” The pony replies rudely to her, she walks up to it and puts a hoof on its cheek.
“NO, YOU watch where YOU’RE going....” she shouts before pushing off the pony’s cheek and walking the other way, “Bitch” she mutters under her breath.

“The Great and Powerful Trixie does not allow for such rudeness...”

“Bitch please; you can’t even use your magic to lift my mane...”

“How dare you speak to the Great and Powerful...”

“Great and Powerful? More like a huge wimp who can’t do anything...”

Trixie stands and stares at Treacle who turns flank and walks over to the market stall, she stares while a tear wells up in her eye before running off.

She turns to watch Trixie run off down the street, when she turns to face the stall owner she is greeted by a tall figure covered by the cloths covering the stall, she jumps back a little and rubs her eyes and looks back up to see the stall owner looking at her as if she wasn’t right. She looks about to see that everything is fine, a couple of ponies looking at the stall as if something horrible had happened. She quickly buys a few things and walks over to them.

“Are you two okay?”

“Yes but we say something flash in that stall, right in front of you and then disappear, you looked really scared. What was that?” one of them asks her as the other rubs her eyes and yawns.

“I’m not too sure but I have a small grudge as to who it might have been.”

“Who was it, I thought it was a creature, like those ones attacking.” Said the pony rubbing her eye, Oh, I’m sorry, my name is Bon-Bon, that’s Lyra.” She adds.

“Oh, I know of you two, Moonshine has told me of you two plenty of times, and one known as Berry Punch.” She replies while looking away in disgust before facing them again, “Are you two here for the bake-off?” she asks, only to have her attention distracted by a small explosion down the street, a wall had been knocked down by it and a figure stood among the dust in the middle of the street.

As the other ponies run about in fear, Bon-Bon and Lyra included, she stands among it all and stares at the figure who looks up the street and seems as though to be looking right at her, she looks behind her to see nopony about, they had all quickly run off, all the stalls shut and covered.

She stays where she is to see the figure jump up as a few ponies run through the dust and exit on the side she can see, the figure then lands on top of one causing its back to be fractured killing it, the other goes to run but the figure swings it’s arms and laser blades emit from them and cut off the legs of the pony bar one, blood spurting from them as the pony screams in pain, the flesh around the cuts seared and hot from the laser blade.

“Thought it might have been you...” she says to herself before turning and walking off in the opposite direction, little did she know that the figure was running up the street towards her. Some ponies who had heard the explosion are running towards her and past her only to end up running past her again and back where they came from, Treacle not even batting an eye-lid as the figure runs past and starts to pull apart and kill the ponies.

As she continues to walk up the street she looks to the side to see an alleyway covered with blood and guts, a ponies head lay on the floor with blood still running from it and even a torso with the legs still moving slightly, as if it had been just cut from the head.

She looks away as the image starts to imbed into her mind, she opens her eyes to have the figure’s face in hers, “Get out of my face.” She says as she pushes it back slightly and continues walking, the figure watching as she does, it then slowly follows her while shooting some ponies as they pass by, soon some guards were rushing the area, and it runs off to leave Treacle walking calmly as if nothing happened.

The guards quickly swarm the street, some of them royal guards, some being border guards, even some mech guards. They look about at the mess and filth that has been quickly caused in this area, they then watch as Treacle walks out of the street calmly with her bags over her bag full of ingredients.

<Fenrir, bridge>

Thomas is sat looking at a large screen showing what Kieron has just done in Canterlot, “Mathis, how is it Kieron was able to get into Canterlot without being seen?”

“He has his ways, even i don’t know how, he just does.”

“Hmm....well, he did a good job, a few less ponies to worry about.”

As he swings round on his chair the doors to the bridge open to reveal Claire wearing a towel over her back and her mane and tail wet, “Oh Thomas, I’m all wet, I need help getting dried.” She says as she slowly walks over to him while dripping on the floor, he quickly swings back round to face away as he panics that she is hitting on him and now getting closer to him.

He tries to think of what to do but blinks and wipes him face then looks up to see Claire looking down on him from behind the chair and dripping on him, “Would you mind helping me dry off, I can’t reach some places?”

Chapter 9: Incursion

Last chapter: As he swings round on his chair the doors to the bridge open to reveal Claire wearing a towel over her back and her mane and tail wet, “Oh Thomas, I’m all wet, I need help getting dried.” She says as she slowly walks over to him while dripping on the floor, he quickly swings back round to face away as he panics that she is hitting on him and now getting closer to him.

Thomas sits in his chair with eye wide as he starts to shake with panic, Claire now creeping her way round the chair to soon come in front of him, she raises up to come face to face with him, he closes his eye hoping it to be just a dream but he can feel the water dripping onto his trousers, he goes to push her away but she grabs both of his hands and pins them to the back of the chair with her hooves, she then looks at him before leaning forward and kissing him, he tries his best to move his head to get away but no matter how much he tries she keeps coming at him, the water dripping off her now soaking into his trousers and he can feel the dampness against his legs.

Kieron somehow randomly is upon the ship and walks onto the bridge, “Hay Thomas, I’ve just caused some dama......” he stops mid-sentence as he can see the chair facing the other way but there is two pairs of legs, one human and one pony, he can also see water on the floor in a large puddle below the chair, he stands and watches to see Mathis walk up and turn the chair as the pony legs lift up onto it.

As it turns he can see Thomas sat with his hands pinned to the chair and Claire sat on him while kissing him, he stares for a second as her flank is showing off in full view, “....didn’t mean to intrude.” He says before turning round calmly and walking out as if nothing was going on. Mathis stands back a little and watches them on the chair before walking out the room and catching up with Kieron who is already quite a way down the longest corridor on the ship.

“Kieron, hold up!” he shouts as he runs down the corridor, he soon reaches him as Kieron stops to wait for him, “Since the Grand master is ‘busy’ as the moment, I will tell you what I would like you to do for us.” He says as they both continue down the corridor. As they walk they can hear a cry of help come from the bridge, they both look back but ignore as they hear another voice calling ‘come back’.

Some of the guards that swarmed the area have captured Treacle under the suspicion that she was the one who caused the killing as she was the only one at the scene and walked out of it alive. She is currently in a high-security enchanted prison cell created by Celestia and is positioned in her study so that she can keep an eye on her at all times, the enchantment stopping her from being able to use any magic.

Celestia isn’t in the room at the moment as Treacle sits in the slightly green tinted cage that has bright green bars running from the top to the bottom, she looks up as Luna walks into the room and looks over in her direction to see what she is doing, she looks back down then over to the table where her ingredients were put, a guard is searching through them for anything that might resemble a bomb or anything that could be a weapon.

She rolls her eyes before turning to face the princess who is stood on the other side of the magic field, “Why must you check my food, I was only going to the annual bake-off, they are my ingredients, not some bloody bombs.” She says to the guard who looks up at her to see her walking up to the field and staring the princess in the eyes.

“Careful your highness, she is very dangerous.” The guard warns her but she just orders him to be quiet and do what he is meant to do. Luna then looks back into the cage to see Treacle sat back down with her head low, ready to cry. She turns to walk over to the table and sits on a chair just as ‘Tia walks into the room and walks over to the cage and places her horn on the field, her horn glows as the green field grows bright as she strengthens it, it then fades a little as she finishes.

“Princess Celestia, I demand that you release me, NOW!” she shouts at the princess who turns flank and ignores her, walks over to the table and sits to sort out some paper work with Luna.

As they sort out some of them a loud bang can be heard outside, like a gunshot. They both rush over to the balcony and look about to see everything fine and peaceful, even the sky was clear of any SEA or Viperox ships in the area. Luna then points in the sky, ‘Tia looks up to see a shockwave push the clouds out of the way as a small flame rushes down and quickly hits the ground just outside of the room, pieces of tiles flung up into the air and a large crater formed as smoke rushes up into the air.

They both look down to see nothing for the smoke, as it clears they can see a pod but it’s open and nothing is inside, “It’s him, y’know, he’s come to free me, father that is.” Treacle comments from in the cage.

Celestia looks back then at Luna, “Father.....wait that’s....” she stops as she realises who Treacle is on about. Suddenly something rushes past them to fly up past the balcony but too fast for them to tell what it was.

“’TIA, WHAT WAS THAT?!” Luna shouts out as she stands to attention and looks about cautiously, ‘Tia looks up and around the area above them to see nothing, as she searches the area a loud crash can be heard coming from inside the castle, they both rush in to see no such thing in the room but then a gust of dust rushes in from the corridor outside the room.

Luna rushes and stands in front of the cage as her power armour folds around her, the eyes glowing dark purple, ‘Tia runs to next to the door with her power armour on, the eyes glowing bright white. The dust stays in the air, not settling or fading away causing them to was virtually no visibility, as they both look about cautiously Luna can see a silhouette dash past Celestia’s figure and head right for her.

“’TIA!” she shouts and Celestia turns to face her only to be faced with a tall figure in full power armour charging right at her, she thinks quickly and lowers her head so that it runs right into her horn but it jumps up and lands against the wall behind her then jumps back to fly up and back towards Luna who doesn’t see it and looks about for the figure.

It lands down on top of the cage and due to the enchantment is caused to fly up and hit the ceiling, Luna heard the noise and flies up to tackle it, now in clear sight she can tell that it is the one and only Overseer of SEA, “Your wings will be mine after we are done here...” he says to her in a gruff voice from behind the helmet, she punches him in the side a couple of times then in the face before dropping him onto the cage so that he hits it, bounces off and falls towards Celestia who has used a spell to disperse the dust and has her horn pointing up at him ready to stab him.

As Kieron gets closer to Celestia, Luna flies down ready to kick him so that he will land on her horn much quicker and much more painfully, but as she gets close to kick him a huge robotic arm slams in through the balcony doors and grabs Kieron and hits the wall at the other end, the arm pulls out then another arm shoots in to grab the cage, crush it and Treacle walks out and over to the balcony for the hand to grab her, Kieron enters the core of the mech and Treacle climbs in to stand behind him.

The mech hold on to the balcony with one hand as the core opens, Luna running to the core and jumps just in time so that she gets in before it closes, ‘Tia shouts her name knowing that is won’t be good what will happen in there, the mech jolts a couple of times as they knock the controls inside, a few rounds from the machine gun fire off down below and hit the ground next to some ponies who just miss them, this alerts the guards mechs which start to open fire on Ambush.

The mechs jolts a few more time before the core opens suddenly and Luna if thrown out and lands on the balcony floor with a trail of blood smudge along it as she slides across it to a halt, ‘Tia runs over to her to see her power armour sparking and can see that her wings have been removed, the wounds rather clean for the type of injury.

Blood runs from the wounds as she lays there, a pool starting to form around her and around Celestia’s hooves, Kieron sat in the seat of the mech holding one wing looking at it as blood drips from it, Treacle holding the other and using her mouth to pull the feathers out of it, blood dripping from it too.

As they sit and look at the two princesses on the balcony as grey Pegasus crashes against Ambush causing to let go of the balcony and fall, Kieron grabs the controls and tries to correct it but can’t due to the core being open, he closes the core and tries again but is too late as Ambush crashes into the ground, guards mechs and pony Havoc mechs quickly rush over and surround them.

Mathis walks onto the bridge to see Claire chasing down Thomas who is running about in fear and looking for his cane but can’t find it, Mathis walks up to Thomas who is cowering behind his chair, just as Claire goes to pounce at him Mathis backhands her on the face causing her to fall to the floor on her side with a bright red hand mark forming on her cheek.

“I wish to speak to the Grand Master without interruption, now stay there and be quiet.” He orders in a bitchy tone.

“But...”

“STAY! Good girl. Thomas, I have bad news, Kieron went to try and save Treacle from pony entrapment, and he was able to get her out and severely hurt the princess of the night but somehow lost control of his mech and has been captured himself.” He explains as Thomas stops cowering and sits on the chair, looks to the side of it to see his cane in its holder on the side of the chair.

“I see, he did good to weaken her, how did he do it?” he asks.

“He was in his mech, Luna jumped in just as the core closed, after a few minutes she was thrown out with her wings removed. That is all I saw.” He replies.

Thomas puts a hand to his chin and thinks while looking down at Claire then back at Mathis, “Send out a rescue squad, you and Claire can lead. I want him back as quickly as possible.” He orders, Mathis knods lightly then walks off after grabbing Claire by the mane and heading out of the room with her shouting in pain and being dragged behind him.

Twilight and Applejack are walking past Sugarcube corner and are looking up towards Canterlot to see the mechs moving about quickly to surround Ambush, a small ploom of dust in the air, “Hay Twi, what do ya suppose is goin’ on up there then?” she asks as they both stop to watch it go on, as they do Pinkie Pie hops out of the shop to stand next to them and stare with them.

“Hay Pinkie how’s business?” Twilight asks, Pinkie looks at her then back at Canterlot.

“Fine, everything it going ooooooookay.”

“Good to hear.” She says before turning round to see a flash in the sky, “Girls, what is that?” they both turn to look at the five flashes in the sky, one after the other.

They quickly enter the planet’s atmosphere and descend quickly to come to the surface within seconds, all of them slamming into the ground and causing a ploom of dust to shoot into the air, Twilight turns round again to see Celestia, only just, stood looking over to the village and staring as some Havoc mechs begin to approach the village.

As the mechs get closer, Twilight can see a shadow grow bigger from under her hooves as the other two back away and are in front of her, she turns to be faced by Mathis and three Talons along with a pony in full power armour with glowing green eyes, “Hail the Grand Master, leader of SEA. Shame you have to be the enemy Miss Sparkle, now all enemies must be taken care of.” Mathis says as he stares at her.

Chapter 10: They turn on us

Last chapter: They quickly enter the planet’s atmosphere and descend quickly to come to the surface within seconds, all of them slamming into the ground and causing a ploom of dust to shoot into the air, Twilight turns round again to see Celestia, only just, stood looking over to the village and staring as some Havoc mechs begin to approach the village.

Mathis stands and stares at the trio of ponies only to look to the side and see Rarity, Rainbow and Fluttershy heading towards them, Rarity and Rainbow both having anger in their eyes, Fluttershy not so much.

He looks back at twilight and grins, bends down a little and points at Canterlot, “That castle will be gone by the end of this war, all ponies will be enslaved and you will be my little pet.” He says to her in a gruff tone. She looks back to the castle then as she turns to face him he grabs her by the mane and pulls down so that she falls at his feet, the others go to attack him but the Talons pull out their guns and take aim at them, Claire has a automatic Gatling gun on her back that turns to target the other three coming their way.

Rarity and Fluttershy stop but rainbow takes no notice, flies right at Mathis but then knocked right to the floor as he pulls back his hand and punches her at just the right time so that he gets full force, “Stay down this time, bitch” he says to her as she hits the floor.

He looks down at the lavender mare at his feet who tries to scurry away but he stamps a foot onto her mane so that she can’t leave, “Mathis, We need to go, look.” One of the Talons comments while pointing at Canterlot, he turns to look at the castle then zooms in to see Kieron and Treacle fighting back at the guards, Treacle with no armour on but using her magic to fire on them and throw objects at them or pull them apart, Kieron in full armour and firing pulse cannon rounds at them while stabbing others with his laser blades.

He looks back at the Talons and knods, they all look at each other and immediately know that it time for business, their helmet visors close and they all run off at full speed, at least three times the speed on a human running at full speed, along with Claire running alongside them with her gun on her back firing up at the castle to provide covering fire for the Overseer and his pony even at this distance.

Ponies scatter as they pass by, as they run out of the village they can see the Overseer being overpowered by multiple pony forces that knock him down and overwhelm him then drag him into the castle, Treacle putting up a bigger fight but is eventually knocked out by a guard mech that punches her in the face as she turns to face it.

“We need to hurry; we have to get there before they enter that castle!” Mathis shouts back to them, they then enter an emergency overdrive that is to never be used unless in the case of an emergency retreat, the backs of their armour opens up to reveal small boosters and the bottom of their boots activate small boosters that cause them to hover as if on roller-skates. The boosters on the backs then activate and they are propelled forward at speed of ten times the speed on a running human.

They quickly come to the Canterlot border and are met by multiple pony guards and a few guard mechs, they all open fire on the approaching SEA force, but are surprised as a Havoc mech suddenly crashes down next to them and fires on them killing them all, the mech stops and looks at them as they pass by, “Glad I could be of help, mate.” A voice says to them over an intercom, Mathis knods before entering the city.

Kieron is first to enter the castle as he squirms trying to break free from his capture’s grasp but they unfold his helmet and hit a rifle butt off the back on his head causing him to flop and slump allowing them to drag him through the doors with no problems, Treacle not far behind and Celestia at the doors to greet them in with a quick punch to his unconscious body.

She orders for them to be put in the dungeon, Kieron hung up against the wall with his power armour crush and disposed of, Treacle to be allowed to walk about but is to have her back hoof shackled so that she can’t move far.

Mathis and the others reach the castle doors minutes after the Overseer and Treacle have been taken inside; thankfully the entire pony forces that were here are now gone and back at their posts, “Right, I have no idea where they have been taken, but we have to find them so capture any ponies that may know of their location.” Mathis says to the Talons who run off around the castle and in through a different entrance, “Claire, we will go in this way and try to find them, stay close, I don’t want anypony finding us or we could be in big trouble.” He adds, she knods before standing up against the wall next to him, he then slowly opens the door and creeps inside, thankfully nopony is in the main room, he makes his way round the room staying to the sides along with Claire right behind him.

The move around the castle insides to come to the corridor that lead to the hospital, Claire stops at stares down the corridor, she turns to face Mathis who shakes his head slowly, she looks back down the corridor then lowers her head and follows him down a set of stairs, “I believe this could be where they are, I never knew of any stairs leading down.” He says to himself but loud enough for her to hear.

They make their way down the stairs but stop to hear two voices at the bottom, Mathis slowly continues down the turn in the stairs and peeks round to see them stood at the bottom with a large barred cell at the end of the room, then suddenly they collapse as two Talons exit cloak, one turns and salutes then remarks, “Found them sir.” He smirks then heads over to the cell; he looks at the lock and shakes him head before grabbing it to break it but is blown back by a magical surge coming from it.

He hits the wall behind him and quickly gets up, “Claire shoot it.” He orders, she aims then fires at it once only for the bullets to bounce off it and hit the wall right next to Mathis’ head but he doesn’t react to it. He grabs one of the guards and walks over to the cell and hits its head of the lock, the pony’s body getting a magical shock and a large dent on its forehead, he hits it a few more times only for the skin to break and blood starting to run down its head, the pony already dead by now, he hits it once more and the lock finally gives way and breaks, he throws the pony to the side and slides the door open to see Kieron hung up on the far wall by the arms with head hanging and legs dangling, Treacle laid on the floor with her back hoof shackled and a red mark on her head where she was hit.

Thomas is now in the room where the magic cannon was that was once powered by Luna, it has been converted into a large cannon but is now powered by the Elements of Harmony now converted for the use of disharmony, named by Thomas as the Elements of Chaos. He pulls on some levers and presses a few buttons then hits a final button that causes it to start up and whir but the noise dies down a little as an indicator on a screen shows an error, he looks to see that the weapon needs a start-up, there isn’t enough power to activate the machine but enough to power the main phase, he looks about before calling out, “Mathis, bring me a unicorn, I need the power.”

“I have one here, sir. Will Treacle be enough for you?” Mathis asks via a hologram behind him.

He turns to face the hologram, “Yes, it shall be fine.” He replies before the hologram disappears.

Mathis punches the shackle on Treacle’s hoof waking her up and shouts in pain, he picks her up into his arms and teleports out of the castle up to the ship, he then tells the rest of them over intercom to get the Overseer out, one Talon runs up to Kieron and releases him then puts him over his shoulders then runs out of the entrance they came in through, Claire following and firing on any guards that block their path, once outside the Havoc mech meets them outside without being detected due to being cloaked, the Talon hands Kieron to the mech and orders for him to be evacuated, the mech takes him in hand and then quickly boosts out of the city just as some mechs notice it and fire on the mech.

The Talons and Claire then sneak away before anypony can find their prisoners gone. Once out of the city they call for a dropship and are taken back to Alverton without any death, a mission well done.

Mathis and treacle appear in the room with Thomas who already has a chair with the cables for Luna in hand, Mathis places Treacle down on the chair as Thomas attaches the cables to her horn, he walks over to the console and starts it up, the machine starts to drain some of her magical power as it starts up, she takes a little to realise what is going on but when she does she looks at the console and concentrates while watching the gauge go up and up.

Soon the machine is running at full power and is no longer draining her as the Fenrir supplies the power to it, the Elements in a metallic tube, they start to glow as they add their power to the machine, outside the ship the cannon starts to fold out and glow as the power starts to energise the gun, soon the noise becomes inaudible and the glowing is bright, the gun does another charge as Thomas presses a trigger, after a few seconds the cannon stops making noises before turning to take aim of Cloudsdale and then firing without noise, a large beam emitting from it, the noise then coming from it sounding like a nuke going off, the beam hits the floating city and causes it to start vaporising while moving down towards the ground, the beam isn’t its usual colour but is instead red and black.

The beam stops and the city is just a floating ball of fire left in the sky just off the ground, all the Viperox gone and dead, Thomas then comments, “The tide has certainly changed, in our favour. Now those silly ponies have no why of stopping us.”

Chapter 11: The end is neigh

Last chapter: Soon the machine is running at full power and is no longer draining her as the Fenrir supplies the power to it, the Elements in a metallic tube, they start to glow as they add their power to the machine, outside the ship the cannon starts to fold out and glow as the power starts to energise the gun, soon the noise becomes inaudible and the glowing is bright, the gun does another charge as Thomas presses a trigger, after a few seconds the cannon stops making noises before turning to take aim of Cloudsdale and then firing without noise, a large beam emitting from it, the noise then coming from it sounding like a nuke going off, the beam hits the floating city and causes it to start vaporising while moving down towards the ground, the beam isn’t its usual colour but is instead red and black.

“Confirmed, all Viperox are dead, the ancients are no longer, we rule supreme.” Mathis comments as he scans the planet, “Scan complete, Human population 20%, Pony population 17% and Fade population at a climax of 63% at the current moment, we need to stop their spread sir.” He warns Thomas who takes off the straps and lets Treacle from the chair.

He turns to face Mathis who points at a screen showing the statistics for the populations on the planet, “Bloodshade has certainly been busy, we must stop them, and call all forces back to Alverton and then send them out to start a sweep of the planet to begin extermination of those pests.” He order, Mathis stands straight and facing Thomas, raises a hand to his forehead and salutes, then walks out of the room along with Treacle who is slightly dazed by the recent activity.

Thomas stands and looks at the screen which starts to flicker and go static, he looks down on the console and bashes it a couple of times, the screen returns to normal but then suddenly goes fully static only to stops with an image of a pony figure in a dark room sat upon a throne, “Hello Father, I hear you wish to kill me, why must you kill your own kin so? Is that how you treat all of your family? Well I must say that that isn’t a very nice thing to do, killing your family, so for that I must stop you. Expect me coming for you.” The figure says before launching at the screen to be seen as Bloodshade causing Thomas to jump back a little by the fright.

He stands as watches the screen to see it turn back to the statistics, “He’s lost it, Kieron I hate you, you brought him to that mirror world and since then he has gone crazy, I blame you for this.” He says to himself only to be startled when Kieron walks into the room.

“Yeah, why not, you always blame me...” he replies as he walks up to the Grand Master with an ice-pack held to his forehead, “What are you blaming me for this time?” he asks as he stops next to him and looks at the screen.
“Bloodshade, you took us to the mirror world and now he has caused the outbreak of the Fade since then, since you took us, I blame you.” He claims as it seems to the best option to him.

Kieron shrugs his shoulders and turns to walk out but stops at the door, looks to the side, “That wouldn’t be the first time you blamed me for something rather dangerous then, but I guess we will have to stop them then, won’t we?” he asks before walking out as he drops the bag of ice and his power armour folds around him, Thomas just seeing the armour fold round him as the doors close.

He turns and walks over to the door slowly as he can’t stop thinking about what Bloodshade had said, he stops just before he door to look back at the screen, as he stares it flashes an image of Bloodshade with a huge grin upon his face and blood all over his mouth, he quickly looks away wishing he never saw that and walks out of the room trying to keep calm.

“Princess, it looks as though all SEA forces are leaving the area, they might be retreating after the events with the Overseer.” Veronica says to the grieving princess who is sat on her bed while her sister is in the hospital in a critical condition. She gets up as a nurse knocks on the door; she runs over to the door and opens it to see the nurse with a look as if she had bad news.

“I’m sorry princess, but it looks as though she isn’t going to make it. Her blood loss was too great and now she is very weak, we have calculated that she’ll pass away within the next few days.” She says with a soft voice knowing that it won’t exactly please Celestia.

She walks off letting the princess alone to think about what has happened, she walks over to the bed, “How....how can they do that. My Luna is dying...dying, I’m going to BUCKING KILL THEM!” she says to herself before running out of the room past the nurse and down to the hospital, the nurse taking a second to realise it was her, then running after her.

She soon comes to the hospital and opens the door to see the dying princess on a bed with a couple of nurse around her monitoring her vitals to and watching the drip as they survey her to see if they can have any way of saving her. Celestia slowly walks over to the bed but a nurse stops her to tell her of Luna’s condition the lets her over to the bed.

“Luna...Luna it’s me Celestia, how are you feeling?” she asks softly, her sister shuffles her head to look at her with eyes half closed and drowsy.

She takes a few seconds to focus on the tall pony stood next to her but then finally notices it to be her sister, “Hay sis’, I’m sorry I did that, I really shouldn’t have jumped in there......dying isn’t so bad, I can’t feel anything.....how long, how long do I have?” she asks with a weak voice to the tearful princess now sat on the side of the bed.

Celestia keeps her mouth shut for a bit as she can feel herself going to cry if she spoke now, she takes a few seconds to compose herself while rubbing one of Luna’s hooves, “I....I was told you, you only have a few days. I don’t even think magic will stop this, you lost too much blood.” She says before putting a hoof over her mouth as she starts to well up.

“Princess, you have a call coming through.” Veronica calls to her, she turns to look over to a screen with Veronica on it which quickly changes to the inside of a ship, a human in power armour walks in from the side to appear on the screen, it was easy noticeable as the Overseer.

“YOU BASTARD!!” she shouts as she runs over to the screen as if it were a real person but stops just shot of it, “YOU FUCKING BASTARD!!” she shouts again in anger as a tear runs down her cheek, her eyes welling right up as she stares at the human, her eyes starting to glow with anger.

“Inside voices Princess, we don’t want to stress out the patients do we, your precious little sister won’t like having a loud mouth about while she’s dying, would she now?” he replies calmly.

She puts her hooves on the screen and stares down the human, “You fucking sadistic bastard. How could you do this to her after all that time when you helped us?” tears start to flow down her face.

He lowers his head as he begins to talk, “Yes, I did once help you silly little ponies, but that was all just false, ever heard of pretending, it was all a trap to gain your trust to get close to you and let you allow our main force to come close and then pull you all apart, but our current circumstances are completely different to how I expected them to be.” He lifts his head to look at Celestia as his helmet fold u to show him actually crying, “I love causing death and pain but my trouble is, I was created for this so no matter how much I try to have peace I can’t, everything I touch dies as a result of my mature to kill.” He looks down once more as drips fall from his face and onto the floor below like a shower of rain.

She looks at him with a more sympathetic expression as she lowers her hooves to stand and watch as he turns away briefly to hide his feelings, “Kieron......it isn’t too late to stop this, and you CAN still join us and help us stop this madness.” She claims but he quickly turns with red around his eyes and a huge, manic grin upon his face as if he had just cracked into insanity.

“Stop the madness? Never, you can’t stop war....war will always rain upon us as that is what us foolish humans are best at, you can’t stop war, war will always come. As for me coming over to your side, HA, I laugh at that, I belong to the side of the lord, not some silly little creature such as yourself.” He comments as if she was a piece of shit on the bottom of his shoe.

Her face once more lighting up with anger as he rudely remarks about her. Luna then falls out of her bed as she tries to get out and see who is on the screen, ‘Tia quickly turns to see her on the floor, and rushes over to help her back up along with the nurses, Kieron stood watching from the screen starts to laugh manically while a few tears run down off his face, a mix of emotions showing.

Once back on the bed Luna gets a clear view of the figure on the screen and stares, ‘Tia looks at then over to the screen to see Kieron still laughing but then stops to suddenly open his eyes and stares at the dying princess. Both of them at a stalemate of staring at each other, Luna’s stare weak and more of an intrigued look but Kieron’s full of fire and hate.

Kieron continues to stare as the screen suddenly cuts off, “I don’t know about you princesses but I would say he looks mad and means business, I would prepare yourselves, who knows when might come and finish the job with Luna.”
Veronica comments. ‘Tia kisses Luna on the head before walking out of the hospital to get ready to go on stop Kieron once and for all, her power armour folding around her as she leaves, Luna putting a hoof out to her, not wanting her to leave.

“Rylie....RYLIE!” Kieron shouts, after a few seconds a human runs round a corner and skids to a stop just in front of him, “Good, I want to you to come with me, Thomas has pulled all of our forces back to deal with the Fade but I want to finish business in Equestria, we’re going to kill a princess today.” He says with a huge grin on his face before his helmet folds around his head to block out his expression, the eyes then light up as a bright red like fires roaring in the distances.

He turns to face the other way and walks off with Rylie following, they both come to a small hanger with a dropship ready for them but this wasn’t a normal dropship, it was a specially designed dropship made for quick deployment for stealth missions.

They both enter the dropship to see a pony stood in armour already inside, it sits on a seat then looks over to them, the eyes bright lavender, Kieron immediately knew who it was, “Moonshine, get out, you’re not coming with us.” He orders but she refuses to leave.

He stands and stares at her as she turns her head to face the wall ahead of her, he walks over to her and grabs at her armour but she completely ignores him and continues to glare at the wall, he drops her and sits on the seat next to her while still staring at her, he then looks past her over to the cockpit, “We’re in, let’s go!” he shouts to the pilot through the door that cuts the cockpit from the passenger area. The rear door they came in through then closes up, and the engine whir as they quickly fire up, soon at full power they tilt to point forwards, a catapult along the floor pulls it along to a high speed out of the hanger, as it leaves the rails and off the edge the engines fire up and blast it forward to much faster speeds, as it flies off it activates its cloaking which shimmers round it before the dropship disappears and all radars lose track of it.

The ship hits supersonic speeds easily, soon coming to a speed of that faster than the SR-71, it passes over the airspace of Chronus where nothing is left but ruins of buildings and a few Fades that have somehow survived and are wondering about.

<20 minutes later>

The dropship arrives in Equestrian airspace, the dropship not even being seen by eye or radar as it passes right over the border and the guarding Havoc mechs, it quickly comes to Canterlot, the back door opens and ponies below would be able to see inside but due to the dying sun and darkness inside it they can see nothing, Kieron stood at the door holding a rail as he look at the city below.

The door opens fully and the castle starts to come into view below, he lets go of the rail and jumps out, Rylie jumping out a second after him, and Moonshine taking a run up then leaping out of the dropship. Kieron dives right for the roof without slowing, he hits the solid rock and blasts right through, Rylie redirects himself so he falls through the same hole but at angle so he lands next to Kieron, Moonshine lands on the roof to remain out of the way until needed.

Kieron and Rylie lift up from their small craters in the floor, only to be fired upon by a couple of royal guards that were in the main hall, they turn to return fire as the rounds bounce off them and into the neighbouring walls. Moonshine snipes them from the roof, only having a small area of view on them through the hole, she takes a few shots them makes her way across the roof towards the princess’ room and waits while Kieron and Rylie run off in the same direction inside the castle.

One of the guards they left manages to get back up after being severely hurt and limps over to an alarm button on the wall, he slumps against at and the alarms start to blare, Kieron and Rylie stop outside the corridor to the hospital and look at each other before knodding and going into cloak just as some royal guards run out from the staircase leading to the dungeon, they move up against the wall to let them by without being noticed.

Once the guards are gone out of sight, they slowly make their way into the hospital as a change of route, not knowing it to be the hospital though, Kieron opens the door slightly to peek inside, luckily nopony notices the door move and he can see nurses walking about with medical tools, he moves to look about and can see Luna laid on one of the beds, he looks back to Rylie and knods, “One’s in there, let’s go.” He says quietly, he then forces the door open quickly; opens fire on the nurses as Rylie moves round the door and joins him, then shuts the door.

Luna opens her eyes to see the carnage going on in the room, she tries to get up and get away but Kieron runs over to her and puts a hand on her chest to push her back down, he doesn’t mess about with the situation by pulling out a knife from its sheath and stabs it into her cranium causing her to instantly slump onto the bed with head on the pillow and only a single drip of blood showing from the wound, he leaves the knife there as he turns to Rylie, “One down, time for the other.” They both enter cloak once more and creep out of the room as some guards along with a guard mech rush into the room.

They quickly scan the room to see many dead ponies on the floor with blood splattered all up the walls and floor, one guard sees the princess on the bed with the knife in her head, he slowly walks up to her and goes to pull out the knife but can’t from the sadness of losing her, “How can they do this?” he asks the others who all look at the dead princess with sorrow, the mech keeping guard.

Kieron listens in then walks off down the corridor with Rylie right behind him, he puts a hand to his helmet and speaks, “Grand Master, one princess down, one more to go, then we reign supreme.”

Chapter 12: We fight to live

Last chapter: They quickly scan the room to see many dead ponies on the floor with blood splattered all up the walls and floor, one guard sees the princess on the bed with the knife in her head, he slowly walks up to her and goes to pull out the knife but can’t from the sadness of losing her, “How can they do this?” he asks the others who all look at the dead princess with sorrow, the mech keeping guard.

Kieron listens in then walks off down the corridor with Rylie right behind him, he puts a hoof to his helmet and speaks, “Grand Master, one princess down, one more to go, then we reign supreme.”

Kieron lowers his hand from his helmet, looks back at Rylie and knods, “Celestia won’t be as easy, I also can’t guarantee that we will get out alive, not that I want you or me dead. So let’s finish this once and for all.” He says before looking ahead and sneaking back to the main hall with Rylie alongside him, as they get close to the hall Kieron quickly turns to face the direction of a noise that comes from over the far end of the castle, he stops and listens to hear another sound, this time one like a gunshot. He turns to face Rylie who is shaking his head with a hand against his face.

He lowers his hand only to claim, “I know who that will be, what’s she doing now? She’ll ruin the plan.” Kieron shakes his head as he walks off over to the hall while still in cloak, Rylie stands and watches to hear no more shooting, then runs over to Kieron to catch up, Kieron stops him at the corner of the corridor as he sees Twilight running in through the main doors.

He can hear a muffled voice which then is easily heard when the doors opens up, “.....ight, what are you doing? We shouldn’t be runnin’ into the castle when the ‘larms are blarin’!” Applejack shouts to her while in pursuit. He pushes Rylie back up against the wall as Twilight runs right for them but then past and down the corridor, Applejack not far behind with Rainbow flying alongside, Fluttershy then alongside Rarity who are running along but Rarity stops right in front of Kieron and Rylie as she can small something horrible thanks to her acute sense of smell being such an obsessive clean freak that she is.

Pinkie hops on past her as Fluttershy stops along the corridor and looks back to see her stood looking at the wall and slowly getting closer to it with her nose pointing up to smell the air, Kieron slowly reaches forward, trying to get as close to her as possible, as he is literally just in front of her head Fluttershy calls out to Rarity to ask her what she is doing, she quickly turns to face her, “Umm..Nothing darling, I just thought I could smell something, never mind we need to catch up with the others.” She says before taking a few steps towards the Fluttershy, looks back at the patch of wall then runs down the corridor with Fluttershy and Pinkie.

Kieron watches as they go off, Rylie looking at him, he then pushes as his armour to get him moving, Kieron looks at him then forward and continues walking into the main hall while some royal guards are rushing about with a couple of guard mechs, they both slip past them and up the stairs but Kieron doesn’t see a guard mech run straight into him as he turns to run up the stairs, it knocks him back and then stops to look at what it just hit, Rylie quickly dashes back to hide behind the stairs, the mech walks over to Kieron who’s cloak has been forced off due to being hit.

It stands over him as he struggles to get to his feet and scans him, after a quick scan it raises its arms ready to fire on him, but is stopped as Moonshine flies into it causing it to stumble and fall, “Quickly, upstairs you too, I’ll hold them off.” She says as she helps him up and they both rush up the stairs as she turns to face the royal guards in the hall and fend them off as they run off.

They quickly reach Luna’s room, as Rylie passes the door he gets a glimpse of a white pony sat on the bed crying, he stops and puts a hand on Kieron’s chest to stop him, “Look, there she is, are you taking this one or am I?” he asks, Kieron looks at him and then walks to the side of the door with rifle in hand and guards then knods to the door for him to go in, he pulls out his rifle and aims at the room before kicking the door down and charging into the room, Celestia immediately jumping off the bed and using her magic to push him up onto the wall behind and rip off the helmet, gun thrown across the room, and put the door back up and lock it so Kieron can’t get it.

Kieron bangs on the door a couple of times but stops as a few royal guards run down the corridor, Rylie pinned against the wall with the princess slowly walking up to him, “So you have come to kill me have you, finally get rid of me?” she asks, Rylie having both of his hand against his neck as she is choking him but after hearing her ask that he smiles and begins to laugh, “Silence, what is so funny?” she asks him again.

“Yes, we have come to kill you but little do you know.” He replies, she looks at him confused, “Who was in the hospital princess, who was in there and now dead?” he asks her with a choking tone in his voice, her eyes open wide and she drops him, he gets up and tilts his head, “That’s right, your sister is gone.” He comments as he looks at the distressed princess in front of her, a bang at the door gets his attention as it wasn’t the type of bang like Kieron made before.

Another bang and then the doors fly open with Kieron launched across the room with a guard mech swinging for him, his rifle in hand and firing a few rounds at it, Celestia jumps out of the way and Rylie dives for the mech to grab at its head and swing round onto its back then punch a few times it its visor to crack it then pull at the wiring inside. Kieron sliding underneath it and grabs a bunch of wires and pulls to rip them out, the mech falls to its knees then down into its front with Rylie on its back waiting to see if it gets back up, Kieron rolls over and takes aim of ‘Tia who quickly looks at him and uses her magic to teleport out of the room and into the hospital which is now heavily guarded to protect the body of the dead princess.

Kieron lowers his weapon and slams it down on the floor, “DAMN IT! She got away, time we got out...” he says before putting a hand to his helmet, “Moonshine we need to go, meet us at the extraction point.....Thomas, we failed, Celestia proved too difficult, we’re heading back.” He says before running out the room with Rylie right behind him.

They reach the corridor leading to the hospital and run down it towards the guards at the end but make a quick turn to head down the stairs to the dungeon and out the exit that they created when they were rescuing Kieron, Moonshine already at the exit waiting, all of them run off to the border of Canterlot, the dropship currently just outside waiting for them while cloaked.

Thomas is sat in the chair of the bridge, “Mathis how is the sweep of the Fade going?” he asks, a hologram of Mathis appears next to him.

“The sweep is going well, Sir. We have got all Fade gone around the city of Chronus and Manhattan is currently being sorted out, the ships are launching Element X missiles now.” He replies only to switch the main screen to an image of the city with some SEA ships hovering not far from it.

“Caution, the Element cannon has been activated, it will overload, I can’t shut it down, and someone is using a manual override!” He shouts outs, Thomas looks at him then orders to see who it is, the screen changes and he can see Claire up against the console with Bloodshade getting closer to her, he gets out of the chair and goes to leave but Mathis stops him, “We must leave, we can’t do anything, the ship will blow up, let’s go...now” he orders while he pulls on Thomas’ arm to lead him off the ship.

Thomas is lead to an emergency drop-pod that will get him off the ship but the weapon suddenly overcharges and starts to blow the ship up, the hologram disappears as the explosions blow up Mathis’ core on the ship, the electronics all go off and Thomas panics trying to get the drop-pod to launch but nothing as the fires draw closer.

Soon the fires reach him and he closes his eyes accepting the fact that death has caught up with him and this is his time to die. The flames completely engulf him and burn him instantly, the whole ship quickly turns into one big flame and then explodes in a huge fireball.

The Fenrir lights up the sky with a huge flame, which never goes away due to the infinite supply of fuel from the generators, all the ponies in Equestria look up to see the flame, Kieron, Rylie and Moonshine also look up and stop knowing that their leader is now dead, “Shit, I guess SEA won’t rise after all.” He says to himself.

Chapter 13: Return of Harmony

Last chapter: Thomas is lead to an emergency drop-pod that will get him off the ship but the weapon suddenly overcharges and starts to blow the ship up, the hologram disappears as the explosions blow up Mathis’ core on the ship, the electronics all go off and Thomas panics trying to get the drop-pod to launch but nothing as the fires draw closer.

Kieron presses a button and his helmet folds up behind his head, he looks up at the blazing fire in the darkening sky, he puts a hand to his ear and speaks into the earpiece while Rylie and Moonshine stand on guard, “Mathis, what the hell just happened?” he asks, there is a slight bit of static before Mathis finally replies.

“Connection re-established. That explosion was the Fenrir, Sir. The Grand Master is no more, you lead us now. It was Bloodshade, he had Claire backed up against the console for the main cannon, it overloaded and caused the ship to blow itself apart, along with one of my cores.”

“Yes but at least you have the two others, hopefully that should be enough to keep you going.”

“Yes sir, it should be enough as long as.......OH SHIT NO!” he shouts before the connection is lost and Kieron calls into it loudly, Moonshine looks about frantically then over to Kieron.

“Kieron, my HUD is gone, I don’t know why.

“Mine too Kieron.” Rylie pipes up to add. They all look over to the castle to see an electrical shockwave emit from it and a loud electrical burst causes them to cover their ears, once gone Kieron looks back at it and calls into his earpiece for Mathis but gets nothing but static and crackling noises.

“SHIT! Mathis’ second core in the castle has been found and now destroyed, he’s too powerful to run on one core, the ships....they’ll start to fall, and most of them are over ALVERTON, SHIT!! All of the human race will be killed!” he shouts in anger then puts his helmet back on and runs for the castle but stops after a few steps and turns to face the others.

“As the last humans, what do you plan to do Rylie? Do you want to stand and fight to the death and hopefully cause as much destruction as we can or do you want to surrender and most likely be put into life in prison or slavery?” he asks, Rylie slowly walks up to him only to cower a little as a large amount of dirt and mud is shot up into the air by an underground explosion where a hidden SEA facility was and the reactors had failed due to Mathis unable to control them all.

The ships start to fall all around the city after being pulled back once the sweep killing all the Fade had finally finished, some of them falling onto the outskirts of the lower city, suddenly the floating part of the city jolts down as something hits it, a shimmer of electric shows the outline of a very big ship, it was the Malevolence, the ship explodes into a huge ball of flames, people can be heard screaming as they run from the flames, some actually on fire as they run out of the blaze.

A couple of other ships hit the floating city, one of them landing on the exact place where Mathis’ last core was placed and now wiping him from existence full stop, the floating platform then starts to give way a little before sinking out of the sky like a rock in water and crushes the entire city below and pretty much killing all the humans that remain on the planet apart from two.

The platform lands on the city and erupts into one huge fireball that consumes the whole city, explosions going off all over the place as ships fall from the sky like flies.

“WHAT WILL IT BE RYLIE?!” Kieron asks him as he starts to get a bit impatient.

“YES, I have made my mind. I’m going to surrender, I don’t care if we are the last, and I am going to turn myself in.

Goodbye sir.” He says before dropping his helmet down by Kieron’s feet and walks off to the border, Kieron stands and watches as he walks off, he looks back at Moonshine and the two of them run off towards the castle to the entrance the exited from.

Once there they sneak in through the entrance and head for the stairs, a couple of royal guards pounce on them and Moonshine fights back to keep them at bay but Kieron does nothing allowing them to take him captive, they hold him to the floor before dragging him up the stairs and up to Celestia’s room.

They open the door and throw him into the room before closing the doors behind him, “So you have come once more to try and kill me, have you?” she questions him, he stands up to face the princess and reaches up to take his helmet off but she lowers her head ready to attack thinking he is going to hurt her.

“Worry not princess, I don’t wish to hurt you no more...” he reassures her then pulls off the helmet and holds it in hand to his side, “My kind, humans, have been killed, all of them....you have won, this planet is yours, has been and always will be....” he says before turning away to look at a painting on the wall, “I only wish for one last thing, I now live for nothing, as one of the two remaining humans left in the universe, can you let me live among you?” he asks, he waits for a reply but gets nothing, he turns to face her and is met with a knife to the side of his neck, a hoof on the other end of it, she pushes it right into his neck and leaves go, he drops to his knees, eyes wide open and grabs the handle but doesn’t pull it out.

He sits there gasping for breath as he looks up at her, “So...so this is what it comes to....me, the bane of death, killed at the hand of the princess in her own room....” he asks in a gruff voice, she stands over him and stares as only a few drops of blood start to run from the wound, “Huh? A world that claims to be harmonious and peaceful and yet here you are killing me, not a good.....role model you are for others......” he adds before stopping to take a large breath to get enough oxygen into his body, “Us humans, we are very foolish...we cause war no matter where we are.” He slowly get to his feet and looks at her, “Strange thing war, we have lived in war for thousands of year and yet we can’t live without it...we live and create war....and war, war never changes.” He says before taking a step towards her and collapsing to his knees again, he quickly pulls out the knife and stabs it into her shoulder before falling to the ground by her hoofs, blood shooting from the wound and across the floor, soon stopping as hit heart fails.

Moonshine bursts into the room and shouts, “NOOOOOO!!” she runs for him and slides next to him to grabs his head and place it on her lap, “Kieron!....DAD!....Why, why did you kill him?!” she questions as her voice starts to break and her helmet unfolds to show her crying like made looking up at her.

As she looks at the princess stood over them she can see her horn start to glow and is thrust back and up against the wall, Kieron knocked over to fall onto his front and splash into the pool of blood that had formed around him from the constant river coming from his neck.

“Ngh, so...so what now princess, you’ve killed by family....you going to kill me too now?” she questions as she grabs at her throat with both hooves and suspended in the air against the wall, Celestia walks up to her and looks into her eyes, uses her magic to slowly pull out the knife from her shoulder without any sign of caring about it and places the blade edge against Moonshine’s neck.

The princess stares into the eyes of the pony in front of her who closes her eyes as a tear runs down her cheek and waits for the blade to pierce her neck but she is suddenly dropped as the princess is thrust down against the ground with a creature on top of her, wings spread out wide, it lifts its head and roars loudly into the air before looking down at her, Moonshine looks over to know right away who it was as Kieron’s body was gone.

The creature lifts its head once more as its jaw opens up into four separate parts and it quickly lowers down to cover the princess’ face with its mouth, Celestia shouting and struggling as it does but then she screams as it sinks its teeth into her face, it also starts to claw away at her chest, soon becoming red at it digs deeper into her chest, Moonshine finally finds her feet and watches, not knowing what to do, the knife being over the other side of the room after being thrown back by the creature, it glows and starts to slide over to them, Moonshine doesn’t notice until the princess grabs hold of it and thrusts it up into the chest of the creature who immediately lifts its head and stops clawing and roars out in pain, she pulls it out and thrusts inward again, then again and again, but no blood is spilt, soon the creature quietens and falls to the floor next to her, Moonshine shaken up by the situation.

Celestia pushes off the arm of the creature and stands over it now knowing it to be Kieron, she puts a hoof to her chest as blood runs down her face from four different holes that pierced her soft face, Moonshine looks at her and rears her head as the princess looks quite scary with the ‘war-wounds’ on her face, she stares at the blood dripping from her face and down onto Kieron who is finally dead and laid on the floor, “So Celestia, what now, you’ve killed him twice, my sister is dead, in fact all the people I know are dead, and your sister is dead....” she comments before slowly getting close to the princess who’s head is low as the blood runs off her face.

“Yes, they’re all dead; finally dead....you will be next.” She says to Moonshine who after hearing that takes a step back, “You are next little one, come....you can join the others, join them with the dead.” She adds as she lifts her head to look at her, the princess’ eye tiny and a huge grin upon her face and staring at the lavender pony, Moonshine backs up against the door before calming down.

“I can offer you an exchange princess, you’re sis’ is dead and so is mine, I have nothing to live for anymore too....how about this, I will sacrifice myself so that Luna can come back to you....how about that?” she offers, ‘Tia lowers her head with her grin still on her face, she uses her magic to slide the wet knife out of Kieron’s stomach and place it in her hoof and then calls her near. Moonshine slowly heads closer to the princess whose grin had taken to a new level, it didn’t look scary no more but more maniacal and psychotic than anything else.

The princess suddenly lunges at her and pins her up against the wall once more but with her hoof this time, “I will spill all of you blood to get her back, I will slice you right open and make you watch.” She says in a giddy little voice, Moonshine starting to sweat from being scared. Celestia raises the knife up and places the tip of it against Moonshine’s neck, she presses forward to have the tip push against her, but just as it penetrates the coat she stops as she hears a noise come from the balcony.

She drops Moonshine and looks over to it, she can see a pair of metallic arms holding onto the rails, she walks over to see that it is a pony in power armour and the eyes are bright orange, “You will not harm her, you hear me princess? HEAR ME?” the pony shouts, Moonshine’s ears prick as she recognises the voice.

“It can’t be, she can’t have...no way.” She says to herself, Celestia looks down at the pony and goes to swing for the pony with the knife but misses as it lets go of the rail and teleports back into the room behind her.

Celestia looks back to see the pony stood backing up slowly to Moonshine and stand over her, Moonshine looking at the pony, the helmet folds back and Moonshine bursts into tears while hugging the pony, “TREACLE!! I thought you died.” She shouts in happiness.

“I did too, but ended up falling through space down here and last I remember I was falling through the air and heading for the castle, and now I’m here, I overheard your conversation too...” she explains as she stands on guard while ‘Tia slowly walks towards them.

“I have a new proposal princess, how about we....” Treacle is interrupted as they all hear a thud, they all look to see Kieron now on his front, his arm then twitches and he slides his right arm forward to come to next to his head and pushes so that his body lifts, then the other arm does the same, he drags himself forward to get closer to the princess who slams the knife right into the top of his skull when he reaches her, he ignores it and slowly gets to him feet.

Once up he stands and stares at the princess, “So, Treacle is alive, let us now bring YOUR sister back, gather some unicorns, then you Treacle can teach them that resurrection spell you so love. We will need at least five or six unicorns to do it.” He explains before grabbing the knife and pulling it out.

Celestia starts to calm down, her eyes now normal, he stares at her before telling his two girls to go and get Miss Sparkle, Trixie and a couple of others. He walks over to a chair and sits, “Do you know why I am not dead princess?” he asks, she shakes her head before heading to the bed and sitting on it, “It is because this isn’t my time to die, when it is, then I will die.” He explains before sitting back and waiting for them to return.

<2 hours later>

Both Moonshine and Treacle return to Celestia’s room with Twilight, Trixie and Lyra following, even Rarity had been brought here when he said that she might not be able to do it. They all enter the room, Lyra immediately after seeing the princess bows to her but nopony else does as they know her enough, she looks about to see nopony else bowing and stands back up and watch as Kieron get to his feet and walks over to the princess then waves his hand to let her take the lead. All of them follow her to the hospital in complete silence apart from Kieron who clangs all the way in his metal boots off his power armour.

When they reach the hospital, Kieron opens the door and holds it for the others as they walk in past him and can see the dead body of princess Luna laid on the bed with a knife in her skull. He leaves go of the door once they all had entered, he pushes past them and walks straight over to the body and grabs the knife, “I believe that is mine Luna.” He says to her but obviously gets no response, tugs on the knife and if slides right out with some blood on the blade, he shakes it to throw off the blood a bit and places it in its rightful place of its sheath on his armour.

Celestia walks up to him and looks at the body, “Alright everypony, let’s do the spell.” She orders, the four other unicorns then walks up to the bed and lower their head to have their horns pointing at the dead princess, they all start to concentrate on their magic as treacle takes the lead with the spell, a wall of magic starting to form round the princess as it starts to take effect, the wall get brighter but suddenly stops and pushes them back for some reason that nopony can explain.
Kieron walks over to help them up then looks at the dead body still on the bed, “I don’t understand, why didn’t it work?” he asks himself before looking down it his hands then back at Celestia, “It’s time, my time has come, I was meant to kill and now I will bring a life, I will give my life to bring back your sister, she deserves to live more than I do....” he explains, then looks over to his girls, “Take care of yourselves...I’m sure you will.......I’m ready ‘Tia.” He says before facing the princess and putting a hand on her hoof.

Celestia slowly approaches him and places her horn on his back, then starts the spell again, everypony else watches before Treacle starts to so the spell to, the others following suit, the wall forms again and Kieron along with Luna start to glow and hover a little, Kieron looks as though his soul is coming out of him and flowing into Luna, as it does his body goes limp and Luna gasps for breath as life returns to her, the wound in her head gone and she looks about in shock, Kieron’s body then falls to the ground as the spell wears off and the ponies stop the spell.

Luna takes heavy breaths while looking about confused, ‘Tia immediately dashes to her and gives her a huge hug, Treacle dives for Kieron and holds his dead body while starting to well up with tears, Moonshine already crying in full flow.

Peace has finally come back to this planet, all the humans that once came to this planet has been eradicated along with the Fade and Viperox, all the pony ships have been put into orbit so keep protecting the planet but without interfering with their lives.

Luna has managed to get back into the swing of life alongside her sister, she is still a bit suspicious about life now, she tends to stay indoors a bit more and when she does go out it isn’t without her sister.

Moonshine and Treacle have been given their own house to live in, in Ponyville. They live next-door to Sugarcube Corner, Treacle doing what she does best, baking and Moonshine helping now and then but mainly now runs the nightclub after its previous owner, Claire was killed in the Fenrir.

Life has finally been put right for the ponies as the peace they were so used to has returned to them, but the war the humans brought with them hasn’t gone, that memory will always stay with them, statues of Kieron, Thomas and the SKULL emblem have been erected in their honour.

But war itself, now that it has come, will never go away, once war starts and comes to a time of peace, it will return...sooner or later.
