Prologue: Just an average night (Edited)

The pristine light of white stars and the glow of the moon illuminated the city streets and rooftops of Canterlot city. Two figures clad in black clothing, one was short and scrawny and the other big and buff, stood outside of the door to the carousel boutique. Both were wearing black hockey masks with goggles over their eyes, the short one having grey and the Brute red.

“Hurry Up! I don’t wanna stay out here much longer!” the Buff one demanded in a hushed tone.

“I'm goin' as fast as I can. why are you being so paranoid?” the short one asked as he picked the lock of the backdoor to the store.

“I don’t wanna be here when that knight guy shows up.” Buff answered anxious.

“Come on man, you know that guys a Fa – Got It!” Short said silently. “Lets go and get the stuff and get out.” he said, nonchalantly as they made their way inside.

After searching for a few minutes short had found what they were looking for, a metal box filled to the brim with beautiful gemstones of every shape and size. “Jack Pot! Hey dude I found it now lets get ou-” he was interrupted by a fist slamming into the back of the head. There was a loud crack, and short fell to the floor.

Buff heard the thud of his fallen companion, he ran over to his body to check his pulse, he was still alive. The brute was about to pick up the box of gems when a voice behind him spoke “No, no,no that's not for you.” Buff turned around in afriad to learn the origin of the voice. Behind him stood, a young man with a green hood and a long sleeved shirt of the same color. On his shoulders were light green shoulder pads to match the padding on his chest and elbows, his hands were covered by brown gloves that darker brown padding on the fingers. His pants were a dark orange with lighter orange padding in the knees, the heels of his shoes were red and the front of them was velvet. A white strip went across the middle of the velvet with a yellow buckle. With only his eye and mouth visible on his face, the knight smirked staring down Buff with his illuminated violet eyes.

Buff was terrified. He he fell to his knees pleading, “Knight of th-the Wind! I surrender I'll tell you everything I know just don't kill me please!”

“Why did he give up so easily? He must be new” the hero thought. “Tell me What gang you work for and who's your boss, and maybe I won’t hurt you,” he demanded.

“Our gang's name is the Diamond Dogs and our bosses name is Rover or R0V.”

“Diamond Dogs? So, you guys only steal jewelry. Why are you breaking into a clothing store?” He joked

“We steal Gems, and the owner here embeds them into her work. We were only gonna take some of them.”

The Knight was confused “Some of them, why not all of them?”

“That was part of Phase 1,” Buff said, “In phase 2, we’re gonna kidnap the owners kids and hold them for ransom for the rest of the gems.”

“When!” The Knight got serious.

“T-omorrow on their first d-ay of school at Canterlot High during their lunch period, twelve ten, was when we’re gonna strike.”'

“How does he know all this if he just a low level brute? They must be desperate for manpower,” The Knight thought. “How many of you are there?” he said

“twenty, including the boss, and five robot dogs.”

“Robot dogs? Seriously? Okay then... that’s all the info I need, but I’m still going to have to detain you.”

“But you said you wouldn't hurt me, you lying Vigilante!”

“I wouldn't say vigilante, more like super hero.” the Knight dashed behind Buff and shoved him against the wall. He attached a circular device to his chest. Cables shot out from the device and secured themselves to the wall, trapping Buff against it. As Buff struggled the Knight chuckled “It's no use, those cables are strong enough to hold down a baby rhino,” he said. The knight then put a restraint on short, for good measure. In a flash of light a letter appeared in the knights hand and he placed it on Buff nose saying “Hold on to this for me, would you?”

The hero ran up the stairs and pounded on one of the upstairs doors. The knight ran back downstairs and turned on a light close to the stairs. He made his way toward the door. He stopped and revved up into a green ball of energy on the ground and blasted out the open door. He uncurled and ran up the side of a building as he made his escape into the night.

Rarity was in her room, sleeping peacefully. Suddenly the silence ended with loud knock at her door, confused, she got up, stretched, and turned on her light so she could make her way to the door. When she opened the door, no one was there she was about to close it when she saw a light on downstairs. She walked down asking, “Sweetie dear, were you knocking at my door? I waAAAHHH!!!” Rarity shrieked. Her body stiffened as she looked at her ransacked shop and the diamond dogs still secured to the wall and floor. She found the note the knight left and dialed 9-1-1.

The Knight of the Wind climbed through an open window and landed in what apeared to be an average bedroom. Once inside he slid up his sleeve a little revealing a black watch. Upon twisting the head of the watch, a light engulfed his entire body, when it dissipated he was wearing gray sweat pants and the black watch. Without a shirt, his electrical scar showed. It started on his back, going around his side, and ending on his chest. “That's enough for tonight, I better get some sleep. It's a big day tomorr-” his thoughts were interrupted by a shouting, angry mother bursting into the room.

“MICHAEL WINDS IT IS MIDNIGHT AND SCHOOL STARTS TOMORROW!! GO TO BED THIS INSTANT OR YOUR GROUNDED!!!” she shouted.

“Alright lord and savior.” he muttered.

“WHAT WAS THAT!!!!”

“Nothing, goodnight.” he said as he got into of bed, closed his eyes, and drifted off to sleep.

“Rest now hero,” a caring voice said, as its owner stared into a reflecting pool with the Knight sleeping in the image in it, “You can go see him now sister.”

“But to do that I have to sho-” another voice said only to be cut off.

“We have no other choice.” the first said “His journey begins now.”

Chapter 1 Dreams To Nightmares (Edited)

After answering questions from both police and news reporters, Rarity was finally able to get back to bed, and yet, she could not sleep. Within the solitude of her room she was able to think but only about the vigilante, “The rumors said that he takes what the thieves steal for himself, but all the gems were accounted for. I guess the news was lying to make profit. typical of them.” she thought “What is it about that note he left, it was just numbers, if he wanted wanted mine he could have just asked, then again this is way more than ten numbers, the only words on it are 'don't give to police'.” *yawn* “I guess I'll tell all the girls at lunch, maybe Twilight will know what this knight is saying, there is something he needs a name I'll think some up tomorrow I do need my beauty rest after all.” the violet haired teen mumbled before dozing off to sleep.

Rarity's eyes shot open. She was inside a car “Where am I?“ she thought as she tried to move, ”Why can’t I move? it’s as if I have no control of my body.” She saw herself twiddling her thumbs, realization struck her when she noticed that her hands were masculine and tan and not the feminine and white ones. She was about to scream before a voice cut her off.

“We’re here Boom Boom.” Rarity’s head moved to see a young man, in a grey hoodie with thick square glasses.

“Thanks Aliedo Fromage, I’ll see you at 10:30.” a mysterious and deep voice said.

“Wait, we need to talk.” the young man said, concerned.

“What Sol?” the Mysterious Voice said, aggravated .

“you’ve changed.”

“So?”

“This voice is rude.” Rarity thought

“So your personality changed, you had a fight, also-”

“I Told You I Didn’t Start That Fight! Can you get that through your skull.” the voice barked, interrupting Sol

“He’s also angry.” Rarity thought.

“My POINT is that you're growing up, Remember what Papa told us?”Sol asked.

“With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility.” They said simultaneously.

“Right, which means you need to think wisely about your decisions and stuff like that, now I’m not like dad or Papa but-”

“THEN DON’T TRY TO BE!!!!!” the voice interrupted, outraged. Rarity to flinched at the sudden outburst as she was moved out of the car and slammed her eyes shut.

Rarity’s eyes opened to see a gloved, brown hand holding two-hundred fifty dollars. Her head shot up to see that she was in an office, in front of her was a short man in his mid thirties.

“What gives the ad says four-thousand.” The voice demanded.

“If you can survive four an’ a half minutes, you pinned im’ in one an’ a half so ya’ get two-fifty.”

“I Need that money!”

“Not my Problem, now get out!”

“Who does this ruffian think he is?” Rarity thought as her body stormed out of the office, passing a dusky pink toned man past her.

Rarity was still wondering what was going on while her finger kept pressing the elevator button. as the door opened someone shouted “Stop That Guy!” Rarity was turned around to see the dusky yellow man was running off with a bag full of cash. the man was coming at her with no intent of stopping, and Rarity just moved aside letting and let the robber into the elevator. as the door closed, the guy said “Thanks kiddo.”.

Rarity was turned to see the Short man asking “Why didn’t you stop that guy, now he's getting away with my money.”

“I don’t see how that’s my problem.” The voice Said coldly.

“I must admit this man did deserve this, but letting the robber get away was still technically wrong,” Rarity thought as her hand pressed the elevator button once again before her eyes close yet again.

Once again opening her eyes, Rarity found herself walking down a street. She recognized it as Manehatten from her summer trip there. She noticed a group of people crowded around she was guessing the voice was curious since she was moving toward the crowd. They maneuvered through the crowd on their way to the center. As they got there, a policeman stopped them saying “I’m sorry sir you can’t pass.”

Rarity thought, “what happened here? It must be really - OH MY GOD!!!”

“Thats My Brother!!!” The voice shouted as he shoved his way past the officer to see the body of Sol, still breathing with a hole in his chest and crimson pouring out.

“S-olar? I’m he-re.” MV said full of sorrow and tears while holding his hand

“M-i-c-” was all Solar could say before his eyes closed. All Rarity could hear was the voice’s sobs until a cop spoke over the walkie talkie “We found the suspect at the old warehouse on 36th street, he's armed and dangerous let’s roll out.” Then Rarity heard the voice growl as they walked over to an ally.

Rarity’s eyes shot open as she heard the cracking noise of glass and saw a figure in the shadow against the cracked window.

“This must be the man who killed this voices brother.” she thought.

“Please , what did I even do to you?!?!” The shooter pleaded.

"What did you do? MV repeated. "That young man that you shot in cold blood, How Could YOU FORGET!!!” MV shouted, holding onto the man as he shoved through the window allowing the voice and girl to see his face.

The voice gasped, when it saw a familiar dusky yellow face.

Rarity shot up from her bed, breathing heavily and covered in sweat. “It was just a nightmare, but why did it feel so real?” she thought looking at her hands that had returned to their normal white. “I’m gonna have to tell the girls about this too maybe its connected, any way I have to get ready for school think of a name for my savior.” She said as she left her room, once she closed the door she heard a slipping noise followed by a loud thud.

“SWEETIE BELL!!!! ”

Chapter 2 Some Answers, With a Side of New Powers And Friends (Edited)

Mike was running, trying to stop the man who killed his brother. No matter how hard he tried he always too late, usually to see his brother fall and the shooter making his escape.This time however right before the shoot as to pull the trigger , the teens quarry vanished in a flash of blue light. “Where is he where, did he go?” His train of thought was interrupted by a voice echoing around him.

“Greetings, art thou the Knight of the Wind?”

Mike froze he had heard that voice before, ”Vice Principal Luna?” He asked, looking frantically through the Darkness to find the origin of the voice.

“Although I share the name, I am not a mere Vice Principal.” The voice stated, someone walked into the light revealing a pony with a horn and a pair of wings that was just a bit taller than the boy. The mare had a dark blue coat with light sapphire blue eye shadow. Her mane was moderate sapphire blue with a grayish persian blue aura surrounding it as it was flowing in the non-existent wind. Looking to the side Michael saw what looked to be a white crescent moon with a black background. “I am Princess Luna!”

“This is a joke, right? I’m just going insane.”

“This is not a joke sir knight, this is a test.”

“Of what, my sanity level?” He joked.

“No, the strength of your powers.” Suddenly, she shot out a bolt of energy. Mike dodged it at last second. He turned the head of his watch to the right, a green light engulfed his body, as it dissipated he was wearing his gauntlets, that covered about half of his forearms with grappling hook devices on the bottom with a touchscreen on the top of the left gauntlet.

“Okay then show me what you got Moony!” The knight said taking a fighting stance.

Luna started the battle by firing multiple types of magic an combos, one was ice followed by fire then electricity. Mike dodged them with quicksteps and dodge rolls but his power really shone in his close combat. He started his assault on the princess by spin dashing into her side and grabbing her neck piece. He tossed her across the arena. She recovered in the air and dove at the him, preparing to strike him. As Luna’s hoof was about to strike Mike, he grabbed her foreleg with his right hand, and spun around to have her jaw meet his left elbow. "Back off!"

Luna grew frustrated and within a flash of light, a boulder was within her magical grasp. She flung the boulder at tge knight. He dodge it and fired a cable from his left gauntlet, attaching itself to the rock. The tension grew so strong, Luna heard a loud pop and a gripe of pain emit from the knight right before the rock hit her straight in the face knocking her down “Good, now that his left arm is injured I have the advantage.” She thought just as the knight hit her with a strong left hook “How could you possibly recover that fast?”

“I did, I just have a faster healing speed than the average person, kind of depends on the injury, a simple cut will take a while and sometimes it doesn’t work at all. So you give up Moony?”

“Enough, cease your incessant paddling!” Luna demand as she Fired multiple, very Large Magic blasts at the vigilante.

“But incisive paddling is the best kind.” He joked. ”Oh no, GAH!” He weeped as he was taking a beating “How powerful is this pony!” He thought. “Hey Moony, how are your so strong?”

"First it is Princess Luna, ruler of the night and second I am an Alicorn who has lived over one thousands of ye-.” she was interrupted by a spin dash to her gut, then a swift kick to her muzzle, followed by an uppercut that sent her flying on her back. ”Nice use of distractions and technology.” She said as she got up.

“Well the high IQ and the powers tend to do that. Are we do-Yah!!” he was going to ask before being shot with a magic ball of fire resulting in an explosion which sent him flying, landing on the hard ground. “Copy cat.” He mumbled. “ So are we done with this test?” he asked, still lying on the floor. Luna trotted over to the knight, offering him a hoof. “Yes we are.” she said as Mike took the hoof, then a light engulfed them both.

When the light dissipated the first thing Mike saw was that he was in an empty version of his room, the only furniture there though was a circular table and two chairs which Luna was in the one at the opposite end.

“come sit, and do remove that hood and mask I already know who you are Michael Winds.” Luna said , invitingly.

“What now, do I have to take a written test your highness? Mike asked as he removed his hood and black mask which in doing so, it changed his eyes back to brown.

“No, no I do believe you are looking for some answers, are you not?”

“Well yeah but I’ll let you ask me something your highness.”

“Very well.” The princess thought for a moment then asked. ”Why were you calling me Moony during our fight even when I told you to stop?”

“My apologies your highness its a tactic I use, see the angrier one gets the lower their IQ becomes meaning they make more mistakes in a way so I attempt to agitate my opponents so I can use that theory to my advantage, most of the time, well that and it’s a mental coping thing .”

“Apology accepted, now I am done you may ask away.”

“Okay, how do you know who I am?”

“Well-” Luna started "We have been watching you for awhile.”

“We? and what do you mean awhile?” Mike asked

“my sister and I, she rules over the day, I take care of the night”

“Like a Diarchy?”

"Yes, and we were watching you ever since you awoke from that coma you suffered from the bolt.”

“Figures.” he thought. “Okay, what are my powers based off of?”

“ well to be honest I'm not quite sure myself, maybe your powers are based off of things you strongly like, Sonic the Hedgehog for example?”

“How do you know about Sonic?”

“Can’t royalty be gamers too? Oh, I forgot, can we be friends?.”

“sure why are you asking?” Mike asked as The ruler got out of her chair and trotted over to him with her horn aglow. She tapped her horn on his head causing his eyes to glow white for a few seconds, rubbing his head the boy asked. ”What did you do to me?”

“From what it looks like, I gave you swordsmanship skills of Sora from the Kingdom Hearts games, and a little something special”

“uh, thanks I guess, though I already know how to use a sword and that also leads me to the next question, how do I get more powers so I can get stronger?”

“You must create a bond with others like aquetensives work with some powers, friendship with others.”

“Really?” Mike asked sheepishly.

“Yes, my sister and I hve seen you are anti-social at times but it’s the only way.”

He sighed in defeat. ”Alright I’ll try, I guess I can start with the children of the owners of Carousel Boutique.”

“Splendid, that's the spirit! you can start with the oldest her name is Rarity, Anything else to ask?”

“Why are you helping me?”

“I will tell you in time, but you have to wake up anyways.” Luna said

“Wait, Luna?”

“Yes Michael?”

“Did someone do this to me?” The teen asked, concerned

Luna gave it thought and sighed ”Yes, why must you ask?”

Mike grew angry “If you know who exactly then tell them, it’s their fault my brother is dead! Now please wake me up?” He then asked as he put his mask and hood back on.

Luna nodded and said in a concerned manner “I will, fare well Knight of the Wind! May I see thee tonight?”

“Yeah.” Mike smirked. “It’s a date.” he said as a light engulfed both of them.

Michael opened his eyes to see his alarm clock going off at 6:30. Turning it off, the he hopped out of bed and headed toward the bathroom to get ready for school. Afterwards, he checked his computer to find a message on his steam client from a user by the name of Sweet_Bell3_64 saying “Good morning windyswift.”

“Hey Sweet what are you doin up so early?” Mike typed

"School, how about you?”

“Same, we must be in the same time zone since I moved.”

“Sweet! I’ll see ya online when I get out, k?”

“Alright see ya later.” Michael finished typing.

The boy then changed into a red and gray T-shirt and brown pants. He ran down stairs almost running over his pet dog, Gizmo, he saw his mom getting ready for work as he made his way over to the garage to retrieve his bike. “Enjoy your sleep?” His mother asked.

“Just lovely.” he said bitterly “And losing a fight to a Pony, of all things, in my dreams just put the icing on the cake.” He thought. “Anyway, I’m off to school.” He said as he put his backpack on his back.

“Alright then Mikey, Try to make some friends this time around? Also don't get hit by any cars.”

“Thats what I intend to do, love you Mom.” He said as he closed the door to the garage. Mike got on his bike as he went outside and pedaled his way to school.

Rarity, who had been getting ready for two hours, was driving herself and her sister, Sweetie Belle, to school.

“How much longer?” Sweetie Belle asked.

“About 15 minutes, Honestly Sweetie could you-”

“Sis Look Out!!” Sweetie shouted, looking to her left she saw a biker that wasn't slowing down, possibly thinking she’d stop first. In a panic Rarity slammed on her brakes as the biker tried to swerve to pass her, in which had him fly over his handlebars and the hood of the girls car. The boy landed on the other side with a thud, Rarity got out of the car to see if the biker was alright.

Mike was riding his bike and thinking “Something was awfully fishy about what scaredy Buffy said, It was as if they wanted the Knight to be there and the break in was an invite.” Suddenly Mike had a tingling sensation in one of his teeth followed by going cross eyed for a split second and he shot his head to the right, noticing a car coming at him. He soon realized that everything slowed down even himself, somewhat, with this he shot his wheel to the right and front flipped over his handlebars. He had flown over the cars hood and landed on his stomach, “That was new, a sixth sense is kinda weird I’m gonna call it my tooth sense.” He thought as he layed there in some pain.

Pinkie Pie was on her school bus thinking happily “Did he really say I looked hot holding a gun? Anyway he’ll be in for the surprise of his life when this is done.”

Out of nowhere Pinkie sneezed followed by twitching sensation in her tailbone.”Hey someone is copying my Pinkie Sense! I should tell the girls at lunch.” she said gleefully.

With his eyes closed, Mike mumbled “I hate Murphy's Law.”

“Are you alright darling?” A scared young woman asked.

Mike opened his eyes to Rarity’s staring into his. “I think I broke every bone in my body.” He said causing the girl to gasp, he added “I’m joking.”

“Do you need to go to the hospital?”

“Naw I’m good.” Mike said as he got up, only to see his bike with a bent front wheel. ”Aw Man My Bike!”

“Oh dear let me pay for the damages.” The girl said.

“You don't need to, it’s alright.”

"Nonsense darling, I wasn't paying attention at all and I could have hit you, lucky my sister pointed you out. Say, how about I give you a ride to Canterlot High, that is where you are going right? ”

“yes I am and that would be nice, thank you umm…"

“Rarity darling.”

“Thank you Rarity” He said “That was easy to find her, and convenient.” He thought “The name is Michael Winds but you can call me Mike, Nice to meet you.” He said as he held his hand, Rarity shook his hand.

“Likewise Michael.”

Sweetie was still sitting in the car while the two teens were talking and then Mike grabbed his damaged bike and put it in Rarity’s trunk.

“Sis, whats going on?” Sweetie asked.

“His bike became damaged trying to evade us Sweetie so I offered him a ride.”

Mike finished getting his bike in Rarity’s car and placed himself in the back seat saying ”Thanks again for the ride Rarity.”

“It’s not a problem I'm pretty sure after this meeting we could grow a healthy friendship, you know what they say the more the merrier.” Rarity replied.

“Mind if I say something?” Sweetie asked.

“Sure dearie.”

“Falcon punch.” Sweetie said in a sly toned voice, which caused one of Mike’s eyes to twitch.

“Sweetie dear, why would you say-”

“FALCOLN PAWNCH!!!” Mike shouted, interrupting Rarity.

“Windy it's you!” Sweetie cheered.

“Sweet_Bell3?!?” Mike said in shocked.

“Do you two know each other?” A confused Rarity asked.

“Yeah sis, He's one of my online friends, he moved into this time zone but I didn’t know he moved to Cantermore!” Sweetie said while giving the tan teen a death stare

“well I didn’t know you lived here,and that you were this young, 12?”

“She is 13, but you were close enough darling,” Rarity said as she parked her car. “Sweetie said you moved here during the summer right.”

“Yes why do you ask?”

“So you can make some friends! We can start with my friends, then Sweetie’s.”

“R-eally, huh great, how generous of you.” Mike said sheepishly.

“Why of course darling, now we’ll need to compare our schedules since Sweetie and I know which classes our friends share with us and you now we can do that before we head to homeroom."

Mike sighed “Alright let’s go.” Michael said as he and the girls got out of the car made their way to the school.

Chapter 3 One of those teenage guys

The trio of teens were walking toward the school when Mike looked at his watch “You know what I just realized?”

“What Mike?” Sweetie Belle asked.

“We got here 20 Minutes early.”

Sweeties were twitching furiously and she threw her arms skyward. “AW COME ON!!! I could have stayed in bed!”

“Well Sweetie you know what they say-” Rarity started.

“The early bird gets the worm.” Mike and Rarity said simultaneously.

As they continued to get closer to the school Michael’s tooth sense went off, But it was different, instead of warning him of danger it pointed him in the direction of the side of the building, giving him the feeling of someone needing help.With that silently strode away from the girls.

“Before we go inside we should see what classes our friends share and- hey where did he go Sweetie?” Rarity asked.

“I think he went that way sis." The grey girl said as she pointed to the front right corner of the building.

"Let’s see what hes up to.” Rarity said as she made her way in the pointed direction with Sweetie Belle not to far behind.

Mike arrived at the far right corner of the school, following his tooth the boy was about to turn the corner when he heard a girl pleading through tears. “P-please, leave me a-lone.” Mike brought his head around enough for his eyes to pop around the corner to see two tall guys , in their late teens staring down a butter yellow girl with pink hair and closed eyes revealing the light magenta-ish grey eye shadow on her eyes on the ground in the fetal position.The girl was wearing white butterfly hair-clip to match her white tank-top, her skirt was green with some light pink trimming that has three butterflies one white and the others being two shades of pink one darker than the other. Her boots were green for the majority with white at the bottom for the soles, Underneath her boots were simple pink socks with white polka-dots.

“What's wrong Flutterguy to scared to stand up to us?” One of the bullies teased.

“Yeah, you gonna stand up and fight?” The second one added.

“J-just please s-top you big meanies.” The girl said. Mike was watching this scene carefully, waiting for the right moment to stop this but a flash of light blinded him. When his vision returned, the girl was gone, only to be replaced by a young boy with grey glasses, himself before the bolt.The teen grew angry, the one thing he hates is to people getting bullied by others.

"She called us meanies, I believe that calls for a punishment." The first bully said as he clenched his fist and brought it up, but before he could bring wrath upon the girl, Mike came out from hiding shouting "Leave her alone!!" Causing the girl to jump to her knees from shock due to the sudden out burst. Rarity and Sweetie Belle were close enough to hear Michael's shouting, so the girls increased their speed toward the back if the school.

"And what are you gonna do about it."

“I will have to report you to school administration, You know Mrs. Cadenza, Ms. Celestia"

“Oh yeah well how about this!" The first bully shouted as he decked Mike in the face with a strong right hook as the two sisters rounded the corner to see the violent act. Everyone stared in shock to see that the tan teen not even falter from the attack, only to bring his head back up to reveal his nose dripping blood and a scouling face with eyes staring daggers at the bullies.

"Let me ask you again." He gritted through his teeth while cracking his knuckles, determined to stop the bullies. "Leave her alone."

"Let's get outta here Boy ." The second bully said as he ran away.

"I second that Hoops , Run Away!!!" Boy Bullies screamed.

Once the bullies rounded the corner, Mike returned to his calm self instantly and walked over to the petrified girl that was still on her knees.

"Are you okay?" The boy asked as he extended his hand out towards the girl to help her up. The girl blinked a couple of times and took Mike's hand and he pulled her up while saying "Y-yes but I-I should be asking you that."

"That was amazing Mike you were all 'HULK SMASH!' Then you were all nice how'd you do that?" Sweetie Belle interjected.

Mike's cheeks flushed red with embarrassment "H-ow long were you watching that?" He asked.

"Only the part where you got slugged darling, but I concur with sweetie how did you take that hit as well as the change from infuriated to so in ordered?" Rarity said "Oh good morning Fluttershy."

"Oh hello Rarity." Flutters said as she took a tissue from her bag and handed it to Mike. "H-ere you go, u-se it to clean the blood, I m-ean if you want to that is."

"Why thank you Fluttershy,” The teen said, nicely as per your question I'm fine really; I've been through worse." He said as he wiped the blood from his nose and stuffing some of it in his nose to stop the blood flow.

"How w-orse?"

"Rarity almost ran him over and he flew over her car." Sweetie said.

"Wow that had to h-urt."

"Speaking of which -" Mike started. "My face is hurting now." He stated as he stuffed a bit of the tissue up one of his nostrils to stop the bleeding. "So um this is one of your friends that you wanted me to meet Rarity?"

"Indeed, this my friend Fluttershy."

"Um h-ello , it's nice to m-eet you um-"

"Michael Winds but Mike works too, and it was nice to take one for my new friend." He said while he extended his hand to get a handshake from the shy girl.

"A friend of Rarity is a friend of m-ine." Fluttershy said and hesitated before shaking the teens hand.

Mike hesitated. "I'm somewhat of an amateur in acting." The boy lied, he usually did that for his alter-ego when things got serious or interrogations, but he rarely used the skill. "Anyway, would you help me figure out what classes your friends and I are sharing so I can meet them."

"Indeed darling, let us do that, come on Fluttershy, we don't want to be late." Rarity said as the teens made their way into the school.

After homeroom Mike now had a list of students who he had to meet, thanks to Rarity, he also had a the description and names of her friends.

"First period is biology 1 with a Ms. Rainbow Dash, alright , It's worth a shot." He mumbled as he realized that he was the first to the classroom. "Heh, probably went a little too fast." He thought as he entered the room.

"Good morning professor Star Swirl." Mike said as he sat in front left of the room, closest to the door.

“Ah hello, again Ms. Dash, oh my apologies Mr. Winds someone else is usually first to the class." Star Swirl said, embarrassed.

"Its alright sir, I've heard of how fast Rainbow Dash is,but it look like she's gonna have some competition this year I guess." The boy smirked.

"Indeed she does, speaking of which, here she comes now."

Within seconds, a slender and very light cerulean girl burst through the doorway, she had moderate cerise eyes and hair with the colors of the rainbow, Light brilliant red, Light brilliant vermillion, Light gold, Moderate sap green, Brilliant cornflower blue, and Moderate violet to be specific. She was wearing a white Tank-shirt with a cloud with a protruding red yellow and blue lightning bolt with the colors matching her wrist band on it under a blue short sleeved track jacket. below her upper abdomen the girl was wearing an indigo and white skirt with black track short, her boots looked like tennis shoes in their design with majority color being light blue and the trimming being white with rainbow colored sock underneath.

“Yes, first to class!” Rainbow declared.

“Not quite Ms.Dash, someone beat you to it.”

“Wha-who?” Rainbow asked with the professor pointing his figer toward Mike.

The rainbow haired girl gave the boy a death stare. “What?” Mike asked confused.
Dash sighed. ”Nothing it would be dumb of me to hold a grudge over a record. ” She said as she proceeded to sit next to Mike. ”So were you trying to show off?”

“Wha-no no I wa-”

“Ah so you were trying to impress me.” Rainbow said sarcastically as she fluttered her eyelashes.

Mi2 flushed a deep crimson. “No, no I was-“

“Was what?”

“Thank you for letting me finish, any way I moved to Cantermore a two months back.” He lied to keep a loose connection between the Knight and himself. ”And I may sound crazy here but I was too busy to make friends, so today I met your friend Rarity ,Long story you can ask her at lunch, anyway she wanted to help, it was really generous of her.”

“Thats the Rarity I know, continue.”

“So she wanted me to meet you and her other friends, including Sweetie Belle's pals, I even met Fluttershy before you.”

“Really, she’s not much of a social butterfly so how’d you manage that” Dash asked.

“She was about to take a beating by some bullies, One was named boy the other being hoops, back to what was happening then, so I jumped in and took the punch instead.” The teen stated as he pointed to the tissue in his nose.

“Thank you man.”

Mike blushed “Heh, i-t was noth-” Rainbow interrupted him by putting her hand on his shoulder.

“No I mean it, Flutters and I have been real close friends since Cloudsdale Junior High. I’ve been by her side now matter but it’s been harder to do that since we don’t have the same classes, it’s nice to know that others are looking out for her , such as a someone as loyal as yourself.” Rainbow held out her hand. “The names Rainbow Dash.”

“Michael Winds or Mike, and don’t worry about it; I just hate it when others are being picked on” The teen stated as he shook Dash’s hand “And if you tell anyone about this mushy moment I just had I’ll have my pal Pinkie Pie take you to her fun dungeon.” Dash stated, causing Mike to gulp and waited for class to start, Hoping that she was only kidding.

Second and third period passed by like a breeze, for second,he had seen Rarity and Fluttershy at third, now Michael made his way to fourth period as he looked at his ‘friends list’ “ooh a two-for one good for me.“ Michael sighed “Looks like I’m gonna see Sweetie belle and both of her friends in music, Apple Bloom and Scootaloo, lets go all Leeroy Jenkins on this!” He thought as he was close on to his destination.

“Where is he?” Sweetie Belle groaned.

”Why are you asking me, he’s your internet stalker.” Said a light orange toned girl with greyish purple hair. the girl had a zipped up black short sleeved hoodie with parts of a cyan shirt protruding from the sleeves and bottom of red hoodie. The girl had green short cargo pants and black boots to match her hoodie, with cyan covering the top of the boots.

“He’s not a stalker Scootaloo it was just a coincidence that he had moved into town during the summer.” Sweetie proclaimed.

“Back off Scootaloo, a’hm sure Mike is a real nice feller." Said another girl, this one a pale olive yellow and red hair doned with a large light crimson bow and sportings a southern accent. this girl had a green T-shirt with blue jeans rolled up to her knees, which is held up with a brown belt with a amber colored buckle on it.the boots had a red flower at the top as well as the soles with the rest of the boot being amber to match her eyes.

“Why do you have to side with Sweetie belle Apple Bloom?” Scootaloo asked.

“Cause a’h learned how to not to judge a book by its cover, or in this case broad description.” Apple bloom said as she gave Scoots a look.

“Hey, Sweetie is the one giving the broad description of the guy, I don’t know what else to think.” Scootaloo defended.

“Don’t look at me he’s always been secretive about his life.” the light grey girl stated in her defence. “Oh look, here he comes. “ she said as Mike entered the room causing her to wave her hand vigorously to get his attention. Mike noticed the trio and sat down at their table.

"Hey Sweetie, are these are your fellow Career Minded Crusaders that you told me so much about?" The boy asked as he sat down.

"They sure are, this is Apple Bloom." She said, directing her her hands toward the young cowgirl.

"Howdy!" Apple Bloom said cheerfully.

"Nice to meet you Apple Bloom, and you must be Scootaloo am I right?"

Scootaloo didn't respond.

"Earth to Scoots, can you read me?" Mike said while he snapped his fingers in front of her face."

Scoots slapped the teen's hand away and spat. "Back off Internet stalker!"

Mike changed from upbeat to upset. "That hurt, a lot, it really did." The boy pouted. "I not a stalker Scootaloo I just moved in a couple months ago and all I'm trying to do is make some friends and it may not look or sound like it but it's -"he said, depressed before being stopped by Scootaloo.

"Let me stop you there Mike." Scoots began. "I was only looking out for my friends , sorry if I hurt your feelings man."

Mike turned around. "Its alright Scoots, I can see where you're coming from I did the same thing for what friends I did have." he said as the bell rang soon after with the music teacher to follow.

"Hello class my name is Mr. Delta Spartan and I am going to be your music teacher for this year." The teacher started. "What we are going to be doing today is roll call, you will state who you are, give a brief description of your life within a forty second time frame, and what instrument you're accustomed to so we we can bond as a musical family similar to that of a instrumental family starting with you and we will work our way down." He said, pointing to the student at the far left.

The time passed quickly and Mike was now at the bat "that went by faster than I thought, alright you the last one Mr.Winds, make it count." Delta said.

Mike hesitated before starting. "H-ello um everyone I'm Michael Winds a-nd w-ell -"

"Wow this guy is almost as shy as Fluttershy." Scootaloo thought.

"Is it alright if I skipped the life description Mr. Delta Spartan?" Michael asked.

"Then you have to lose points Mr.Winds." Delta said.

"Ok I'll do it." Michael sighed. " My life was doing great until 2 years ago which is kinda personal so I don't really want to talk about it, but everything got better from there." Michael said shyly, lying again with this time being that he didn't want to bring up his own memories of his coma or the death of his brother. "Oh and I play the guitar, acoustic mostly."

"Michael never told me anything about that, must be a touchy subject." Sweetie thought

"Acoustics, a fine choice young man, well the bell is about to ring so you all may chat amongst yourselves, we will start working tomorrow." Delta said.

Michael returned to his seat wger a smiling trio of girls which had brought a smile to his face.

"I admit, that was pretty cool, not Rainbow Dash cool but cool nonetheless." The orange toned girl complimented.

"Yeah,it sure was Mike." Apple Bloom added.

Mike blushed "I-t was nothing really." The boy said as the ring of the bell soon followed. "There is our cue, let's get to lunch. " he started as he looked at his list. "So I can meet three more... girls , I'm gonna be one of those kind of boys aren't I." He said dully as the girls giggled, moving themselves to the cafeteria.

Mike and the cmc entered the fairly large cafeteria, looking for good seat when he noticed Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash sitting at an empty table with at least ten open seats. The boy snapped his fingers the get the girls attention and pointed to the table mouthing "over there." As he began to walk towards the table. Dash was the first to notice the group and waved to them. "Over here Mike!" She shouted , startling Fluttershy.

"Hi Dash, Flutters." Mike said as he sat in a chair next to Fluttershy.

"Hello Michael." The butter yellow girl began. "The others should be here in a few minutes, so you should go get your food."

"Alright then, I'll do that, be right back. ” He said as he got up and walked over to the lunch line, with Scoots and Sweetie followed.

A while after Mike left, Rarity and three other girls returned to the table one of which was Pinkie Pie. She was wearing a light blue short sleeved jacket which matched her wrist bands, Underneath that was a white blouse with a pink heart on her chest. On her waist was a light purple bow waistband. Under said waistband was a pink skirt with a trio of balloons on the side, 2 blue with yellow colored string and 1 yellow with a blue string. She had sky blue high heeled boots extending up to the knee with white straps on the front.

The second girl had lavender toned skin with sapphire blue hair with strips of magenta and violet. She had a simple blue button up shirt with a magenta bow tie. Her skirt was violet with a magenta star burst surrounded by five white stars. For once, this girl had simple pair of black shoes with purple and magenta plaid leg warmers.

The final girl was a shade of a light orange and freckles on her face with blonde hair that is tied up on the end and a brown cowgirl hat on her head. She was wearing a buttoned up white cotton shirt with a light green on the upper chest of the shirt. Her skirt was like like a combination of jeans and a skirt with the use of the same material and that the skirt has pockets, which was being held up with a brown belt with the belt buckle that was an apple which was the color red. The cowgirl’s boots were two shades of brown, the soles and top trim were a light shade while the rest if the boots were a darker shade.

“Rarity are you sure nothing was stolen?” the second girl asked as the four sat down.

“What are you talking about Twilight?” Rainbow wondered.

“She’s talkin’ about that vigilante, ‘The Knight of the Wind’.” the third girl said.

“You can’t be serious Applejack, that guys like a myth!”

“Um, girls?” Fluttershy asked quietly, trying to get the girls’ attention.

“He is real, there is proof.” Applejack proclaimed.

“Girls?” Flutters said a somewhat louder.

“what proof Is there AJ, I’m telling you that-”

“Girls!!” The butter girl shouted, finally getting their attention.

“oh, ah’m sorry Fluttershy” AJ apoligised “What were y’all trying to say?”

“um, that the news this morning covered an attempted robbery at carousel boutique.”

Applejack and Rainbow dash gasped and both asked. “Are you okay Rarity?” simultaneously.

“I’m quite alright dears, that brave knight saved my families gems and this is proof shall be significant to his existence.” rarity said as she placed the letter that the knight left her last night.

“Rarity why didn’t you give this to my brother?” Twilight asked.

“The knight left this letter and it said not to give to the police, but it’s all just random combination of number ,thats why I brought it to you to take a look darling.” The marshmallow white girl then handed it over to Twilight before being interrupted by one familiar voice.

“Well if it isn’t Applesack.” Bullies spoke and Hoops were standing there with arms crossed.

“Could y’all just leave us alone we were trying to eat over here.” apple jack said, slightly annoyed.

“but where would the fun be in that since it seems Flutterguy's little guardian angel left you all alone.” Hoops said only to ruin his statement by having his voice crack at the end.’

“What is he talkin about?” AJ thought.

“If you don’t sound scared then why did run away after y’all hit him? That’s what sweetie told me anyway.” Apple Bloom chimed in.

“That freak took it like a champ, there even wasn’t a bruise on his face.” Boy stated

“Freak, good one, That's so original man.” a voice said sarcastically from behind them. looking past the bullies all the girls saw Mike there with Sweetie and Scoots beside him.

“He’s kind of right there.“ Scootaloo added.

“ A-nd this is where we take our leave, let's go Hoops." Bullies said as he left with his bully buddy in pressuit.

"Wow, they must really be afraid of me." Mike mumbled to himself as looked around and smirked as he stared at a specific spot on the ceiling with a grate of the schools ventilation shaft. "Point of dramatic and epic entrance, check." He thought.

"Michael are you alright?" Rarity asked.

Mike flushed with embarrassment. "Sorry Rare I was just thinking, were you saying something?"

"I was sayin how you have yet to meet the rest of my closest friends." Rarity said as she motioned over the three remaining girls he had to meet.

"Hello Michael my name is Twilight Sparkle, it is nice to meet you."Twilight said.

"It's always good to meet new people such as all o-" the teen was saying before a pink blur jolted in front of him without his tooth sense going off, causing him to jump.

"Hi my name is Pinkie Pie it's so fun to meet new friends imean I'm friends with everyone and I mean everyone and hmmmm mmm..." she said until Applejack placed her hand over the pink girls mouth while she continued to talk.

"Sorry about that, she likes to make new friends, and howdy name's Applejack nice to meet ch'a." She said followed by spitting into her hand then extending it out towards the boy. Mike was taken aback from the gesture but he shrugged it off, so he spat into his hand and took AJ's hand in a firm handshake saying "same here." Before he began to dig into his food which was breakfast for lunch. "Gotta love Brunch." He thought.

While that was going on, Twilight proceeded to read the numbers was strange to her she had not seen anything like it, lines of numbers being separated by commas and spaces.

"So Mike, " Applejack started. "Where are y'all from?"

Michael hesitated. "I'm from Manhattan, and I moved here about 2 months and 3 days ago."

The cowgirl gave him a suspicious look which only her little sister seemed to notice. "What's wrong sis?" Apple Bloom asked.

"He's lying about something , he sounds like it" She began, whispering. " Like he's tryin' to hide something."

"2 months and 3 DAYS?!?" Pinkie shouted. "How come you didn't make any friends between then and now?"

"Family matters took place and I mean a lot so I barely had time." Applejack cringed slightly at the boy's liying tone.

"Um Rarity, I can't make heads or tails of this letter that vigilante left." Twilight said, defeated.

Mike smirked. "She kept the note good, I might as well help them out." he thought. "Say did you say vigilante, as in the Knight of The Wind?"

"Yes, but why must you ask darling?" The marshmallow girl asked.

“Because I Believe I’m the only guy that thinks this guy does this for good not gold like what the news is saying. I’ve even saw the news this morning, I hope nothing was stolen and that your family is alright.”

“You must be joking with us Mike. he leaves the criminals in hospital beds." Rainbow proclaimed.

“Better than being killed depending the circumstance of the crime.” He mumbled.

“About your concern dearie they are and indeed nothing was stolen but why leave a note that I don’t even understand?”Rarity said as she pointed to the note, which Twilight put there after she gave upon figuring out what it meant

Mike reached into his bag and pulled out a pair of grey glasses which he secured firmly on his head “Do you mind if I could take a look,” He asked “maybe I can figure it out.”

“Wow, pfft you look...Bwahahaha!”Rainbow laughed hysterically. ”like more of an egg head than Twilight hahaha.”

“Rainbow Dash that is quite rude! Just because he wears glasses to read doesn’t mean he's an egg head, no offence darling and here you go.” Rarity apologised as she slid the note over to the tan tee which he took and began to open it.

“None taken Rare.” Mike said as he pretended to skim past the numbers. “I know what this is, it’s a translation system during a war which I don't remember which, anyway it changes numbers to letter from 1 being the letter A to 26 being Z, I’ll write out what it says for you.” he stated as he grabbed a pencil and began to translate the numbers.

“Out of everyone, how come he knows what that note is saying?” The lavender girl thought.

Rarity grinned. “Thank you Michael you are a life saver that would have kept me wondering what it meant.”

“you’ll probably stop wondering when the Diamond dogs strike.” he mumbled

What was that suga’ cube?” AJ asked.

“Nothing just talking to myself and don’t mention it Rarity, I always help my friends get out of a pickle.” Michael said as he continued to translate as well as multitask with eating to slow down his writing a bit.

As the time passed people kept asking questions, with Mikr answering them briefly knowing that this ‘R0V’ and his robots could strike at any time. the teen kept writing until Rarity said something that caught his full attention. ” I had this dreadful nightmare girls where I saw the death of a young man that this voice called them ‘Aliedo Fromage’.” The girls gasped Mike froze at the sound of the nickname " You said Aliedo Fromage was his name?” he asked.

“Oh no darling I just wanted to talk about if that alright with all of you?”

“go right ahead Rarity nothing stopping you, tell us what you want to tell us.” Twilight said with concern.

"What she said." Mike simply added

Mike was finishing up translations as Rarity finish telling her story, of his memories, which caused heart to ache as she had progressed with each sentence.the thing she stated which he had thought he had put under lock and key. This had also brought up an idea in his head. “Wait, aren't dreams linked to ones memories at times? Looks like I’m gonna have a little chat with Lu lu tonight.” He had thought as he was finishing the translations.

“All Done Rarity, here you go.” he said as he fought the sorrow in his voice as he then removed the glasses and gave the letterto her. “and if you now excuse me I now need to use the restroom.” and with that the young man got up and made his way towards the bathroom to prepare himself for the battle he was going to become a guardian to all during day and night as it was now his duty to protect everyone and his new friends. Even if they were all strangers to him at first it was if he knew them forever which caused him to feel all warm with happiness,the happiness which he had lost since the death of his family members, and he didn't want to lose that feeling again, then he sneezed “I have a feeling that they are talking about me”.

After Mike had left there was a brief silence among the girls until Rarity spoke up “So what do you all think of Michael?”.

“He seems very nice.” Fluttershy commented

“He seems like a real fun guy!” Pinkie added.

“He’s Really great.” The CMC chimed simultaneously

Applejack answered with “A’h don’t trust him.”

“What ever do you mean Apple jack dear?”

“A lot of those questions he answered were just phony lies with that tone used, like he’s hidin' something from us and is trying so hard that he’ leaving suspicious points like those hesitations when he was answering those questions.”

“During Music he was being all sheepish in front of everyone and he also had something bad happened to him in the past but he didn’t say much.” Sweetie chimed in.

“Now that you mention it,” Flutters started “he was being even more shy than me in class.”

“and He beat me like a whole minute to class and we have home rooms next to each other.” Rainbow threw in.

“WHAT!?!” everyone shouted with the orange girl starting off. “But you're like the fastest one in the whole school.”

“I think you are all being delusional girls what is untrustworthy about him.”

“Well Rarity, out of all of us here he is the only one who knew how to translate that letter from that vigilante there could be a connection here and-”

“Twilight Sparkle How Dare You! We all know you’ve been trying to figure out who this knight is but persecuting someone you have just met I say shame on you.”

“You’re right Rarity I shouldn’t jump to conclusions with little information, I just have to see if this holds any water with more info.”

“And ah’ve got my eyes on him.” Applejack added.

“And I have my eyes on him too, no one escapes the eyes of ‘The Dash’.” Dash joined in

“Well, now with that over with, let’s take a look at that let-” Rarity was going to say when there was an abrupt bright light that blinded everyone and leaving ringing noggins. when her vision returned everyone was tied up against the wall, herself included. There were about 20 men alone standing In front of them, wearing grey outfits with grey ski masks. one caught her eye he was in some type of mechanical suit that made him look like a bipedal dog even with a jaw piece and claws. nis grey hair and green eyes filled her up with fear.the man was wearing a red vest and a collar with diamond embedded into it, on the dogtag spelled out ‘R0V’. With a mechanical laugh all he had to say was “Now we initiate ‘Phase 3’.”

-Equestria, earlier that day-

A white coated alicorn with a long mane consisting of sparkling pink, blue, green, and light cobalt blue mane waited outside her sister's quarters, waiting for Luna to give her news on the visit. The door slowly opened with the princess of the night trudging through the door. "Are you alright sister?" The elder sister asked.

"I'm fine Tia, my head just aches and my back does as well." Luna said as she rubbed the back of her neck with her hoof.

"That is good to hear Luna, so how did things go with the Knight?"

"For a 15 year old he is very strong, has some combat experience, oh and I may have 'given him' the skills of a master swordsman. He can use that blade he created out of scraps."

"Oh really now, did you two really become friends that easily?"

Luna shrugged "Who knows, all I just did was give him the knowledge I've learned about that fighting style."

"So thats why you borrowed Twilight's copy of 'An Eggheads Guide to Video Game Fighting Styles' for a week, anyway I wanted to see if should wanted to tell Twilight and her friends about him?"

Luna gave the idea some thought "Michael said that he he wanted to keep his alter-ego a secret so I think it would be best if we only told them about the knight and not Mr.Winds himself to respect his wishes. "

"Very well I did want to show him in action anyway."

"Well you're in luck big sister, remember that there is a battle he must fight is in the near future."

"Splendid, I will send a letter to Twilight once I rise the sun sister, you will need you rest for when the elements arrive." The Princess of the sun obligated

"Thank you older sister, I will see you all then." And with that Luna returned to her quarters and the celestial ruler left for her throne room.

We now shift the scene to another royal quarters, the purple sheets rustle as a lavender alicorn underneath shifts uncomfortably as the sunlight glared onto the covers, attempting to get some extra sleep due to the time of day with the sun just passing the horizon line when there was knocking at the pony's door with a male voice following. "Twilight, you need to get up!"

The alicorn groaned. "Spike, spreading the magic of friendship or whatever I have to do doesn't start until 10:35, at least give me 5 more minutes, I'm still sore from-"

"Don't you dare use that, I'm still sore from fighting Tirek, that was like three months ago that doesn't work anymore. I also got a letter from Princess Celestia for you when I was attempting to eat my breakfast, before it was burnt to a crisp."

With those words Twilight shot up from my bed, with her glowing violet horn she swung the door wide open with her magic. With wide eyes she stared at the purple baby dragon holding onto a scroll with golden seal with a large C on it and asked. "What did say Spike?"

"You got a letter from the princess." He repeated as it was the scroll was taken out of his grasp and was now levitating with a violet aura surrounding it. Twilight opened the scroll and began to read it allowed.

Dear Princess Twilight Sparkle,
My sister and I have discovered information relating to the magical after burst that was resulted when you and the other Elements of Harmony defeated Tirek, and we now request the six of you to come to Canterlot as soon as possible to discuss this information in person.

"They've finally found something, lets go and get everypony Twilight." Spike said as he began to make his way downstairs .

Twilight sat there couldn't reminiscing about the nightmares that her and her friends been having from time to time. These nightmares were of crying sobs and words such as 'It's all my fault.' , 'Solar is dead.' and 'I killed him.' she really felt bad for who ever this individual whoever he may be.

"Twilight are you okay?" Twilight was shot back into reality with the sight of Spike's head popping into the doorway and a concerned look on his face.

"Yes I'm fine Spike, say wanna go get Pinkie first so we can grab some breakfast? "

Twilight shrugged and with that she trotted over to the window as she opened it with her magic, extending her wings a she then flew out of her window in the direction of the desired bakery as fast as she could.

Twilight landed right outside a pastry-looking building, Sugarcube Corner, she trotted inside to see a familiar pink party pony working at the counter top. "Good morning Pinkie. "

The earth pony shot up with a wide grin beaming across her face." Morning Twilight, Spike, what can I get'cha?" Pinkie asked gleefully.

"One Saphire Surprise and a Red Rampage please." Twilight said with a loud grumble erupted from the dragon's stomach. "Make that three Sapphire Surprise’s." Spike added

Pinkie giggled. "Okie dokie lokie coming right up." She then grabbed a paper bag with her teeth and placed it on the counter followed by grabbing each desired cupcakes with her hooves and placed them neatly in the bag and handed it to the baby dragon. "Here ya go, that'll be 25 bits Twilight. "

Twilight the used her magic and grabbed the right amount from the bit pouch spike had on him and dropped it into Pinkie's hoof "There you go Pinkie."

"Thanks, so what brings the princess of friendship to this bakery today?"

"I got a letter from Princess Celestia saying the for you and the rest of the girls to come to Canterlot on royal business with me so I came to get you." The alicorn explained.

"Okay, let me go tell Mr. and Mrs. Cake and I'll get Dashie and Applejack for you, alright?"

"Thanks Pinkie, that would be a huge time saver. I will see all of you at the train station in a half an hour." Twilight said as she exited the store.

"Okie dokie Twilight see ya!"

Within that time frame Twilight and Spike had gotten Fluttershy and recently Rarity with Spike now mindlessly follow the marshmallow unicorn like a shadow , actual hearts in his eyes and a spinning tail that seemed to act as a propeller that pushed him forward. As they trotted towards the station Fluttershy was just walking a little behind the love bird praying that her animal friends would be alright with Discord looking over them while Rarity was contemplating what designs she would use for her autumn line which was just around the corner. Twilight however was in deep thought, remembering what happened before they had saved Equestria, again.

“How is this possible. You have no magic!” The black and red centaur questioned, shocked towards the sphere of light which he had attempted to destroy it with his blast of magic with no avail. Inside the sphere were the elements of harmony which had taken different forms, each with large mane and tail which had added highlights and marks that looked like similar to their cutie marks located on their hooves, beside their cutie mark and under their eyes. The pegasi and one lavender alcorn's wings were colored to match their new or original mane styles. A certain cow pony among the six had an alteration to her hat which now had a large apple emblem attached to it. They all had determination in their eyes staring down the beast before them, Equestria’s fate lay on all of their shoulders.
“Your wrong Tirek, I may have given you my alicorn magic, but I carry within me the most power most magic of all!” Twilight declared from within the sphere which fired a violet beam, then pink, followed by blue, orange, white, and finally yellow. when the six beams fused however the result had fired off a green beam of magic emitted off the fusion and flew upward into the sky. After being shot with the beam, Tirek screamed as he began to shrink,losing all his power as if it never existed to begin with as he returned to his frail, weakened state, with pale colors, and reappeared in his cage within Tartarus, being guarded by cerberus.

With Tirek defeated the girls now took their gazes upon the green bolt, which had created a ripple effect in the sky and disappeared into plain sight. “What in the name of Equestria was that?” Applejack asked.

“We can figure that out later AJ.” Rainbow Dash said. “For now we need to focus on saving Equestria… again.”

“She’s right Applejack we can figure that out later.”Twilight joined in.”we have no time to lose.” all the girls nodded as they then split up into three teams of two in order to return everypony in Equestria to their original state.

“Twilight, what are y’all thinkin about?” Applejack asked as twilight was thrown back into reality.she saw all of her friends Spike, Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie Pie staring at her with concern as she just realized they had arrived at the station. “It’s fine girls, I was just thinking.”

“About that green magic when we defeated that ruffian Tirek, Honestly dear the princesses said that they were looking into it.” Rarity said

“But that’s the thing Rarity, we could have helped them but they didn’t let us in they were so stern about it like they were hiding something.”the mane six fixated their eyes in the direction of the sound of a horn, the type that a train uses to be exact.

“Well there’s our ride, only one way to find out.” Rainbow started. “Thats why the princesses called us to Canterlot right Twilight?”

“I’ll tell you once were in the private train car reserved exclusively to royalty.”

“That seems nice.” Fluttershy commented

“Being royal can be really useful at times.” Twilight commented as they entered the train.

“Now we initiate ‘Phase 3’.” the dog-based armored man said.

“You already said that and ooh why are you here and what is phase 3? “the pink party girl said with confused looks on everyone faces.

“No I didn’t I jus-argh quiet you!” R0V Demanded.

“Or you’ll do what y-you ruffian!” Rarity questioned only to be answered with R0V placing his metallic claw up against her throat.

“I said stay quiet.” he said in a menacing tone. “Or else thing are gonna get messy and not in a dirty kind of way you little prissy pony.”

“A pony how ridiculous, but maybe I’d look cute as a pony.” She thought.

“You won’t get away with this my bro-” Twilight started before SweetieBelle interrupted her. “Yeah the Knight of the wind will stop you!” Twilight sighed. “That guy can’t be trusted, he should just let the police take care of this.”

“Oh that's what I’m counting on kid.” he said as he once again continued to laugh maniacally.

-A few moments ago-

Mike entered the bathroom looking around, he checked everywhere if there were any signs of life, lucky for him there was none. He entered a stall with a ventilation shaft above it. The tan teen looked at his watch. “Alright their lives depend on me, but what buffy said, they wouldn’t go this far as to just get a whole deposit of gems thats not the DD’s style from what I’ve learned in the last three months of taking on their gang. They’re more of a ‘take by force’ kind of gang, there must be something bigger going on.” He thought as his eyes soon widened as realization struck him like a lightning bolt. “They’re after the Knight, great I can tell that AJ doesn’t trust me, Twilight possibly suspicious, also the CMC know I’m insecure about my past, and now it’s my fault that they're all in danger, yay me.” Mike then turned the head of this watch, his entire body engulfed in a dull light ,dimmed away to be replaced by his green and orange suit with the hood over his head. He then extended his arm and he fired the grappling hook from his gauntlet,it attached perfectly. “no one will die due to my actions, not again.” With little to no effort due to his enhanced strength, he pulled the grate off the ceiling,catching it before it hit there floor, “I just hope i can get there before anyone gets hurt.” He thought as he climbed up into the ventilation shaft and proceeded to crawl towards the lunch room, as he looked at his screen on his left gauntlet which was showing a map of the ventilation system. “good thing it’s easy to hack into the school’s servers or i’d never find my way to the cafeteria without the building schematics.”

-Back in Equestria, about fifteen minutes before the DD attack-

“so y’all the one who had the nightmare this this time am a’h right Twi?” Applejack had asked as the mane six plus one baby dragon got off the train.

“And also the reason why we’re here in Canterlot right Twilight?” Rainbow Dash added.

“Why yes she is.” a booming voice said which caused the six ponies to turned to see Princess Luna standing in front of the station, she cleared her throat. “My apologies I still tend to do that from time to time.”she said in a quieter tone.

Everyone gasped in surprise “Princess Luna What are you doing here?” Twilight asked.

“Please Twilight, Luna is just fine since you are Royalty after all, now as per your question I’m here to personally escort you all to our meeting place, now let us be on our way since we have keep you in the dark.” The princess said as she proceeded to trot in the direction as the others followed with Pinkie giggling to herself “Heh dark, like the night.” she mumbled as she sped up to keep at the same pace as her friends.

After the 8-minute walk, group were Now in Canterlot Castle, home to the rulers of Equestria. The five ponies, two alicorns, and one baby dragon were standing outside the throne room. Luna turned around and said “ I am sorry Spike but you are not to be permitted to be with us during the meeting, its for the Elements only.“ The dragon sighed in disappointment of not joining the others not wanting to dishonor the Princess’ wish he simply replied “Yes Your highness, you guys will know where I’ll be when we have to go home.” He then took his leave and proceeded to the exit of the castle. “Where is he going?” Luna asked curiously

“Donut Joe’s coffee shop, it’s not far from here so he should be fine.”Twilight replied.

“So um Princess Luna, Where is Princess Celestia?” Fluttershy asked.

“She is right inside the throne room, now shall we?” Luna said as she opened the doors with her cobalt blue aura revealing, an empty throne room.

“Y’all were sayin’ princess?” Applejack asked. “Yeah I doesn’t look like Princess Celestia was even here.” Rainbow dash added.

“Oh Tia.” the diarch mumbled “She must be keeping an eye on him.”she said, frustrated.

“Princess, who is this ‘he’ that you're speaking of?” Rarity confused of who this stallion was.

“Oh, I didn’t know Celestia had a coltfriend!” Pinkie said cheerfully

“Pinkie!” Everyone shouted aside from Luna. ”What?”

“No, that’s not what it is Pinkie Pie.” Luna said causing the six mares to stare at her. “ Now as you all know the event of the green bolt when you were battling Tirek yes.” everyone nodded their heads in response. “Well as soon as we returned to Canterlot from your celebratory victory we went to work and were able to find the source of the magic.”

“Wait , so your telling us that you and Celestia found the magic bolt 3 months ago and decided to tell us now?” Twilight asked.

“Yes and we both felt so bad for keeping all of you in the dark but we can only give you limited information at this time, we can however finish our conversation in our secret area with my sister.” The princess of the night said as her horn glistened in cobalt blue along a section of flooring which the mares were staring at the moment. The sound of a mechanism unlocking followed by said flooring to pushing down and splitting the seamless tile floor in two as the sections slid away from each other as blinding white light did its normal thing by momentarily blinding the main six.when the light dissipated all there was underneath was a stairwell leading into the depths of the castle.Everyone stared in awe for a moment, then Twilight was first to speak. “I’ve never seen this before,when was this added?” she asked.

"When we found the magic we had this secret room built to monitor it from time to time, now come we wanted all of you to see it for yourselves.” Luna said as she trotted down into the torch lit stairwell with the mane six in pursuit.

Celestia was sitting in a recliner, nothing special about the chair whatsoever as she munched on her popcorn. She sighed, just watching someone crawling through an air vent was pretty boring and not being able to see anything except the light emitting off the knight’s gauntlet She wanted action, a battle, a fight between foes. The white alicorn’s horn began to glow a light gold the screen on the wall which made the room look like an in home theater changed to light amber girl with crimson and yellow striped hair and cyan eyes. She was wearing a magenta T-shirt with the symbol of a sun with ying-yang effect of its red and yellow,over the shirt was a black gangster jacket. Her skirt”s color was a majority of orange a yellow and magenta stripe on the side, her boots were also black with magenta design on the front. the girl was tied up in a darkened portion of of the Canterlot High cafeteria. “What is with Sunset Shimmer and being alone in darkened areas?” The emotion of depression and sadness plastered on Sunset’s face. Celestia felt bad for her former student and unicorn since she had since she had exiled her as her student and left to that world through the portal that her teacher made , possibly in an outrage she didn't know for certain. Now all she could was watch, powerless to do anything and hope Mike even if his tactics can be rough at times but she was still glad that the viewer observers with Equestrian magic or DNA. It was harder to do for Shimmer since she had access to the latter but easier to the knight but she didn’t know why, all she concluded it to was that the strength of the magic of friendship strengthen the connection.

The princess of the day then heard multiple hoofsteps approaching so she changed the ‘channel’ back to the Knight, put the bucket to the side, and got up causing the hoofsteps to stop due to noticing the princess from Celestia’s height.The princess walked around on of the multiple chairs and saw that the mane six were bowing for her, even twilight and the exception being Luna. “I thought we talked about this, especially you Twilight, you’re a princess there is no need” Celestia said, causing the mares to get up.

”So princess,” Twilight started.” Three months?”

This caused the Diarch of the sun to chuckle sheepishly before returning to her normal facial feature of being formal. “Yes Twilight, And I am sorry about holding all of you back from this information . She said apologetically. “But now we are able to give you the information about where the bolt went.”

“So where did it go, huh, huh,Huh?” Pinkie pie asked curiously.

“Well Twilight did do some research on this, when she was still my student.” The princess then cleared her throat before continuing. “The bolt, was able to break the dimensional barrier and ended up in a alternate universe where everypony in in this dimension is another race entirely called ‘humans’ and other things like dragons being dogs.” this brought everyone but the diarchs to gasp.

“So Lyra was right! They do exist,” Rainbow started. “Not here but they exist.”

“That is not all.”Celestia paused in order for the mane six can put all attention on her before continuing. “The bolt did strike one of these humans as the ‘he’ we kept referencing to.” once again the mares gasped. “No need to fret he is alive and very well, in fact it gave him powers that would be classified as unrealistic to any human there.” The six sighed in relief.

“But that is where the reason why we kept you in the dark comes in.” Luna stared as she got up next to her sister. “The bolt led to the events of this young man’s brother’s death which he blames himself over it.” Once again, the six gasped this time with Rarity falling back onto a certain gold and red velvet couch unlike the seats in the room that came out of nowhere.

The sisters stared at the unicorn wondering where the couch came from before Rainbow Dash spoke up. “Don’t mind her, she always has her ‘drama couch ’on standby somehow.”

“Okay but other than that, we were able to come in contact with him last night and he is smarter than we thought and came to the conclusion that someone did this to him, thus he blames all of you for his sibling’s death.” now the six stared at the rulers with guilt and Pinkie’s hair deflated like a untied balloon and her became strait as a line.

“But do indeed take this with a grain of of salt,” Luna started causing the mare’s guilt to turn into a blank expression as they waited for Luna to continue. “His emotions bested him as we talked, so he probably didn't mean it.” With that note, Pinkie’s hair re-inflated and a large grin was on her face once more and said “Okie dokie lokie!”

“But what If he isn’t?” Twilight asked.

“Oh Twilight this isn’t as different than the time when your emotions got the best of you when your were going to be tardy.” Pinkie beamed.

“In a way, Pinkie does have a point darling.” Rarity added.

“Well, i guess you are right Pinkie.” Twilight said, looking at Fluttershy who seemed to be staring at the wall behind the princess’. “What are you staring at Fluttershy?” She asked causing the other everyone to stare at the wall.

“theres a light on that wall twilight But there is no torch there I was just wondering that is, if thats okay with everypony.” Flutters said try to find the source of light.
“Kinda reminds me of a scene in a Daring Do Book, can't remember which one though.” Dash added

“That Fluttershy is how we keep an eye on the young man, we are actually watching him as we speak.”Luna explained.

“You know Princess Celestia,” Applejack started. “Y’all never told us who this guy is.”

“Oh my, I seem to have forgot about about that, Everypony meet the Knight of The Wind!” Celestia said as she gestured to the wall which suddenly went black

“Oh come on!” The eyes of the mane six widen to the man’s voice. “Out of all the time in the world to run out of juice, why did it have to be now?” the voice asked itself.Celestia was quick to notice the mare’s expressions and asked “What is wrong My little ponies?”

“Well Celestia, the thing is...:”Twilight was going to say, before a pink blur whizzed right in front of her.

"Oh it’s been terrible, every once in a while we’ve been having these dreams, not like a chocolate milk river dream but a big scary mechanical bear attempting to cease your life with help from others kind of dream! well my perspective of the dreams were like that.” pinkie said very quickly. Celestia and Luna listened, taking in all her randomness. “Go on Pinkie.” Luna said.
Pinkie’s expression stiffened as she then inhaled enough air to fill a hot air balloon saying. “In the dream we all hear this saying some very scary and dark things, and that voice is his! It’s pretty crazy I know but Is there a connection?”

Luna was taken aback by Pinkie’s seriousness yet answered firmly. “It’s quite alright, the Knight had a nightmare last night, It most likely occurs whenever he has nightmares.” The light was restored and now brighter than it originally was. The mares were now able to see Mike donned in his suit with the hood over his head, tapping the screen a few times and sighed. “I really need to find a new power source, Batteries aren't gonna cut it.” He said quietly. The knight checked his screen once more as he smirked. “Here we are, now to double check my equipment.”

“Heh, he’s perfect for you Twilight.” Rainbow teased causing Twilight to blush and Applejack to hit Dash in the foreleg with her hoof, resulting in an “Ow.”

“Voice Modulator,” he said as he pressed on something on his ear which no one could see what and proceeded to speak. “Testing, testing 1. 2. 3.” He said in a tone deep enough that it sounded only a little like his original voice but enough that it was different all the same. “Check, Sword,” he then stretched out his hand with a flash of light appeared a simple sword about the length of his arm that l looked like it was made out of multiple metals welded together, which it was.

“That weapon is hideous!”Rarity declared, still lying on the drama couch. “I mean the multiple metals Just don’t clash together!” She was about to continue before Michael began to speak.

“Crappy but check, don’t worry girls I won’t let any of you get hurt because of me, not again and I’ll do anything to make that doesn’t happen.” the way he said that sentence coldy brought a chill down everyone's spine, including the Diarchs.

“That doesn’t sound good sister, What do we do sister?” Luna asked, concerned.

“We will only have to let this play it out sister.” Celestia said as she looked at the mane six, noticing Fluttershy staring at her uncertainly. “What’s wrong Fluttershy.”

“Oh um, I was just going to uh ask if the Knight of the wind was a good person.” she said.

“Oh yes dear Fluttershy he is, it’s just that he is emotionally conflicted.”

“And why is that Princess, he sounds, well evil.” Rarity said

“How about this Rarity, If your friends’ lives were at risk, and in a way it was your fault that they were in this predicament, how would you react?” Luna asked causing Rarity to go silent. “Just as I thought, I am not trying to be rude here Miss. Rarity I am only trying to make a point.”

“oh It’s quite alright pri-” Rarity was trying to say before a hoof full of popcorn being pushed into her mouth by a golden magical aura.

“Shh, it’s starting! Celestia said giddily as Luna face hoofed due to seeing her sister’s childiish act and Rarity let out an audible, annoyed groan causing the main six and Celestia to chuckle a little.

-Back at Canterlot High-

“Rarity?” SweetieBelle asked.

“Yes Sweetie Dear?” Rarity answered.

“Why are they holding us hostage?” hearing this Rainbow Dash scooted towards the two and said. “Yeah, I was wondering that too.

“I don’t know wh-” Rarity said as a DD member Bursted through the main cafeteria doors as he ran up towards Rover. ”Sir the police are outside with the rest of the students and staff, they want to know our demands.

“Go get a Megaphone from the gym and Tell them we want want all Gems from Carousel Boutique or the kids die Starting with the captain’s sister.”

“Yes sir!” the henchman said as swiftly made his leave.

“And now I do.” Rarity said blatantly as Twilight gave Rover a strange look.

“There is something isn’t right here.” She thought, so she began to shout. “Hey Rover right? Over here!”

This got Rover’s attention, getting him to walk like a dog over to Twilight staring daggers at her when he stopped and barked. “ That’s R0V to you and don’t you forget it! Now what do you want Sparkler?”

Twilight ignored the mechanical dog-man’s insult and continued. “You're going this far just to get some lousy gems from Rarity’s Parent, no offense Rarity, or is there something else going on.” before R0V could respond Rarity replied. "Non taken darling."

R0V Chuckled. “Smart girl, well if you must know we are trying to-” Rover was then interrupted by a crash followed by a thud. everyone turned to see a young man wearing a green hood, shirt, orange pants, and two-toned red shoes kneeling on an unconscious Diamond Dog member as a multi-metal, blunt blade flashed into his hand. He looked up with only illuminated purple eyes and a sneered mouth visible he said in a deep, menacing voice. “Mind If I drop In?” As his Eyes flashed a bright green.

“That is not good at all.” Princess Celestia thought aloud as both Pinkies said "That, was pretty terrible."

When the Knight’s eyes flashed green, Luna gasped and muttered, “Oh no!”

“Your highness, what’s wrong?” Rarity asked.

Before Luna answered, Celestia responded instead. “There was one other time, he was like this; it was when, he was pursuing his brother’s murderer.”

The mares gasped. “Something tells me that this might not end well.” Fluttershy said.

“It won’t, he will become careless and hurt those around him viciously.” the princesses showing true concern for the matter at hand.

“Isn’t there something you can do?” Twilight asked.

“There is something, dear Twilight, but The Knight has to be asleep or unconscious so we can talk to him.” Celestia stated.

“What about the second thing your highness’?” Applejack added only to have Luna respond.

“Being that his world is another reality, there are also another set of the Elements of Harmony in his world as well. Though we don’t know if they have a physical form there, we did find the spiritual forms, meaning there must be human bearers for the elements in that world with the Knight,”

Twilight put her hoof up to her chin and thought for a moment before her mental light bulb lit up. “So that means, one of the human bearers have to be asleep when the Knight is so we can create a link through the element’s spiritual forms.”

Celestia nodded, “Correct, that is the only way to calm him down.”

“All we can do though is hope that the cards are in our favor.” Luna said. “Sister I need to get the “gift” from the vault, I’ll be back as soon as I can.”

“Faust speed sister.” The princess said as Luna galloped out of the room.

-Canterlot High, Cafeteria-

While the Equestrians had their conversation, the students along the walls of the lunch room Canterlot High stayed silent as the Knight got up and off the unconscious criminal. The human counterpart of Rarity was stunned, examining the young man as her eye caught something that made gasp. “What is it Rarity?” Applejack asked.

“Those gloves,” Rarity replied

“Ah for cryin’ out loud you're thinkin about fashion at a time like this!”

“No Applejack, those are the gloves that I was wearing in that dreadful nightmare.”

Rainbow joined in asking, “So that means that nightmare was-”

She was cut off by Twilight, “The Knight’s dreams.”

Rarity shook her head. “No his memories, they felt too real to be just a dream.” among everyone Fluttershy was cowering and shivered in terror as R0V spoke from near them.

“So, you’re the Knight that’s been getting in my way for the past three months.” he said spitting venom from across the room

“The one and only.” The Knight said in his modulated and menacing tone.

“Silence! Now that you’re here, we can finally kill you.”

“So I was right, this was a set up to get me, you just made it painfully obvious, I mean the way your henchmen spilled the beans was practically dead giveaway.” Mike said R0V then growled

“Enough, get him!” Rover pointed at the teen, ordering his men charged at him. Mike groaned in irritation and dashed toward him with his sword up at shoulder height on his left as he charged at his enemy. The first diamond dog threw a punch but Mike spun to the side dodging him effortlessly and hit him in the head with the flat side of his sword. His tooth sense went off as another henchmen decided to attack from behind, Mike flipped over him and struck him in the back as he landed. One more dog charged at him as the first got up and attempted to attack him again. The Knight jumped over both of them and dismissed his sword, crossed his arms, and fired both of his grapple gauntlets, attaching to both men. He pulled both arms away and their skulls collided with a crack and they fell on the ground, knocked out cold. ”That all you got Rover?” The Knight asked as he cracked his knuckles before drawing out his weapon in a flash of light.

R0V grew enraged. “That’s R0V you punk! Send in the metal mutts!” With that the man pressed a button on his forearm and five robotic dogs smashed through the windows and charged at Knight, one pounced onto him, attempting to have a meal of his face. “That guy wasn’t kidding about the robot dogs.” “Chew on this!” Mike shouted held up his sword. The dog bit onto his blade, knocking Michael down and pinning him to the ground. Michael immediately kicked the metal mutt in it’s abdomen, sending it flying over him and taking more than half of his sword with it. “Damn it i didn’t mean it literally!” exclaimed Mike as he was flipping back onto his feet. He dismissed his now useless weapon and got into a fighting stance.

Everyone in the room was either astonished by the Knights skills or afraid of how brutally he was attacking his enemies, all but Rarity, who was focusing on his movements, though she was still disgusted by the loud crack of breaking bones. “He moves he so quick, nimble, fast, so-. That’s it! That would make a perfect name.”

-Equestria-

All the ponies stared in disgust, as much as the humans were, from his brutality, both versions of Fluttershy were so afraid that they couldn’t could even watch. Celestia and Luna, who had returned with a black case, stood firm as they watched the fight. Luna being the first to speak since Mike took out the third diamond dog. “He swore, he never swears in a fight, and his rage, it was just like-” The she said before Celestia answered her unfinished question

“Fret not sister, If this continues at this rate we may be able to get to him.”

“I hope that time comes soon.” Luna and Celestia gasped in shock upon seeing the screen. Mike dodged the mutts, but his ball wasn’t green, it was orange.

“I do too Luna, I do too.”

The knight kept dodging dogs by rolling and dashing away. He fought hard, but the dogs cornered him. The robotic hounds attacked him one by one. He shouted in agony from the claw strikes which left deep cuts as blood was now dripping down his body suit.

The last dog attacked and the Knight was sent into the air. He was about to recover mid-air, when he noticed something strange, there what appeared to be a green dot with three parts of a larger circles surrounding it, all spinning clockwise. It took awhile to register what the symbol was or what it meant but he came to a conclusion on what it was. “A homing attack lock?!” Those words lingered in his head as he recovered and landed back on the ground. Mike gritted his teeth as he stared at the dog, his eyes turning green once more yet stayed green instead of turning back to purple.

One dog pounced at him again but he leapt over it. He spun around letting his mental Lock-on target the mutt, when it did he curled up into a ball of orange energy and dashed at the robot leaving an orange trail behind him. Michael hit The hound so hard that it went flying a few feet before exploding, thankfully the blast didn’t injure any civilians. The parts of the robot hit the floor with a thud Michael quickly noticed something glowing in the wreckage.

Mike ignored it for the time being and put his focus on the remaining dogs. He leapt into the air in a spin ball before homing in on another dog, but was swatted away, now knowing the direct approach wasn’t an option he let the hound pounce at him. His tooth buzzed warning him that an attack was coming from behind. He rolled out of the way to have both dogs smash into each other. This time he charged at a dog as it charged at him. He jumped over the dog and attacked it from behind, destroying it.

The last dog pounced at him and bit his leg. It flung him back towards the middle of the cafeteria. He grunted in pain and clutched his bleeding leg. He fought through pain on adrenaline alone. The Knight revved up in his ball of orange energy and blasted towards the dog fast enough that it couldn’t react in time to escape Mike sawing through the middle of it like a power saw through a wooden plank. the Knight turned toward R0V, who was staring daggers into him. He spat, “Is that all you got?”

R0V growled, “That’s it enough fooling around, Kill the bastard!” He pushed another button on the remote, having two more robot dogs enter the room and six more henchmen advanced towards him. Mike booked towards one of the dogs. The beast clawed at him, but he flipped over it, landing right on its back. He fired a grapple cable out of his gauntlet and wrapped it around the dog’s muzzle. The dog struggled as it tried to shake the Knight off, but he held his ground. He was able to steer the thing towards R0V’s men, in a panic, it clawed away at some of them, cutting them up like swiss cheese and threw another, who landed with a leg breaking crack. Celestia was outraged at what the boy was doing, he was going too far. Though she knew that she couldn’t do anything at that moment, but she did know what she was going to do when she will be able to intervene.

R0V was starting to get desperate seeing the Knight obliterate his men He quickly grabbed a wakie talkie and set it to another frequency, “Get the gunners and be quick about it, we’re going for Plan B.” there was a brief pause before the the voice on the other end responded. “Yes sir!” R0V then looked around for the bait when his eyes were set on one specific individual that was fairly close to him , Fluttershy. Among the fighting the girl had been terrified had kept her eyes shut in horror for the majority of the time leaving herself to be unaware of the robotic paw that grabbed her by the arm and pulled her to her feet. Flutters tried to scream but was silenced by R0V when placing his other robotic paw over her mouth. After the Knight cleared out the Diamond Dogs with the mutt he was going to use i to take out the last metal mutt but his tooth sense went off and was blind-sighted by it before he could even react and was sent off the the dog he was originally riding with his right grapple cable snapping in the process. He hit the ground hard the attack leaving a cut on his cheek. Mike got up and regained his bearings as eleven more diamond dogs charged through the cafeteria door holding what appeared to be guns but they didn’t have magazines, only cartridges that stuck out of the side that had the same glow as the unknown light in the wreckage of the metal mutts. They surrounded the teen aiming their weapons right at him. he took one step forward and the men cocked their weapons signalling the boy to stop.

“Well now that I have you where I want you ,” R0V started. “I can give you an offer, you can’t refuse.”

“Forget it, I would never work with criminal scum like you!” The Knight spat.

“Oh I’d beg to differ, give up now or this pretty little girl gets it.” he demanded as he pulled up Fluttershy who was pouring out tears of fear like Niagara Falls with one claw as the other started to change with the paw shifting outward at three points and a large metal cylinder protruding from the reshaped paw pointing at the girl's head. “Fluttershy!!!” All of the girls’ friends shouted. “Let her go you son of a-!” Rainbow Dash barked As she attempted to get on her feet, only to be pulled back down by her hair by Applejack who had been sitting next to her. “No RD, we can’t do anything, Only that there hooded clown can save her.” She assured the Rainbow haired girl. “And A’h hope he does.”

Mike on the other hand grew even angrier as orange energy enveloped over his body. “Let Her Go!” He he roared with a second voice echoing over his own, even more menacing than his original which sent chills up everyone’s spines, all except R0V who remained slightly aggravated. the Diamond Dogs smirked as his ‘Paw cannon' showing a blue light becoming brighter while still pointed at Fluttershy’s head. The intimidation tactic had not been successful and grew worrisome for the girl “Oh no that didn’t work. Fluttershy,” He around and ended his sights when staring at his new friends. “Girls, I’m sorry.” He thought as he looked back at R0V as his orange glow dimmed slightly. “Fine, I surrender.” He gritted through his teeth without the double echoed voice.

“Surrender? you’ve been on our case for months now kid, we’re the Diamond Dogs; we take no prisoners.” He said self-satisfied as he was somehow able to snap his fingers.With that each of the blasters that streaks of blue lights on the barrels of the guns turned orange.

“Oh shi-” was all The knight could say before each of the blasters fired at him simultaneously from all eight directions. Mike shrilled in pain as everyone watched as he was being decimated by laser fire, some covered their eyes or looked away and others just watched in horror, the mane 6 and the CMC included. Both Fluttershy and Flutters were so horrified by what each were seeing and both passed out, R0V noticed this and dropped her without remorse and hit the floor with a slight thud. Rainbow noticed R0V was distracted with his Foes approximate destruction so she crawled her way over to the unconscious girl and dragged her back to the others.

In Equestria the ponies were practically had the same responses as the humans did and now Rainbow was keeping an eye on Flutters for when she woke up though she looked back at the screen from time to time. The Diarchs watched the scene play out, Luna looked at Celestia before stating. “ He’s getting badly injured we need to do something Tia.”

In response the Alicorn of the sun raised hoof and said. “Not yet, we need to wait for the opportune moment,ready the (package/item) for the Knight in the meantime.” With that Luna opened the black case which she had been holding onto since she had returned with it and laid her hoof on the item inside as her horn glew cobalt blue as the inside of the case illuminated the same color. R0V seemed to be getting bored of this show by the now unamused look on his face while he watched the Knight being shot by his men still and not going down “This has gone on long enough, boys I think it’s time we ended this!” Celestia bit her lip doubting that this plan of hers would work as R0V aimed his claw cannon at Mike, the lights turning from blue to red as the red from inside the cannon began to glow brighter Luna began to worry and said “Sister it is ready we gotta do this now.”

“Wait.” was all she responded sternly while the boy was still being pelted and the noise originating from R0V’s claw cannon grew louder.

“Tia?”

“Wait for it.” She said as her horn glew Gold signaling Luna to do the same as they prepared their spells. Mike felt as if all his energy was draining away as he began to feel drowsiness through his pain, his orange glow dissipated as his eyes began to shut he began to fall backwards, “I’m sorry girls, Solar, I failed ” He thought as a stray tear he let out a slight gasp .His eye fully shut just as R0V fired a large orb of red energy from his cannon. “Now!” Celestia commanded as a light shot out of their horns as well as the inside of the case and an orb of white light formed around Mike as as the item in the black case disappeared as both herself and her sister slipped into a blissful sleep along with Mike as the orb completed forming around him and R0v’s shot made contact and exploded. Sunset Shimmer had seen the orb and went wide eyed as she sensed the energy from long ago and realized what the orb was “Equestrian Magic?” She whispered to herself The man laughed maniacally as he watched the resulting explosion but he heard a noise as if a ball rebounded off the wall. He looked back to have the orb fly right at him. putting his robotic arms up to guard the orb and did so successfully and rebounded it to the right about a foot or so to be in front of the human Mane 6 and CMC but it did knock R0V back a few feet. after he regained his composure he looked to his men just dumbstruck on how the orb sustained itself from R0V’s shot as the metal mutts simply growled at them “Don’t just stand there, shoot the damn thing!!” He barked leading his men to aim their blasters at the orb and proceed to fire having the crowd needing to get down on the floor to avoid being shot.

Rarity was contemplating what should she do, try and help the Knight and risk getting killed, or stay put and watch her hero possibly die right before her and she knew she had to repay him some how. She began to crawl up to the orb ever so slowly so her friends and sister wouldn’t notice but, being so close to them, they realized right away. Twilight began to crawl after her when Sweetie Belle surprisingly Put herself in front of her saying “Wait, maybe she’s on to something.” as she turned back to to her sister “She knows more about him than anyone here right, then maybe she get the Knight out of there.” She finished as Rarity continued to plead to Mike who was in his own little world at the moment.

Falling, Mike was falling through the abyss first what felt like air, then turned to a sensation of being submerged underwater then returned to air but slower than before. he opened his eyes slightly only to see the darkness of the void. “Am I dead? , I don’t feel cold nor do I see any random arms coming out of walls to drag me to hell, if that's where I am going.” Then out the corner of his eye he saw a glimmer of light as he continued to fall towards it. after a few more minutes of falling which in turn felt like hours to the boy his body to shift horizontally as his descent slowed even more and was able to see a circular platform with two ponies one navy blue, the other as white as the clouds in a summer afternoon. “What am I even falling onto?” he thought. as he got closer to the platform his body shifted to the position with his stomach parallel to the ground when a suddenly a golden orb surrounded him and disappeared as soon as it came and felt the gravity return to normal. “Uh oh.” Was all he could say before plummeting towards the platform.”AAAAHHH!” he shouted as he fell only to land on it with an audible ‘oof!’ “Okay, not dead that's good at least.” He groaned in pain as he got back onto his feet. he looked around, surveying his surroundings when he noticed a familiar night blue alicorn standing on her respective side of the platform with her image staring into the darkness.”Hey Luna, why did you drag me into the dream realm, also why does Rarity have my memories, those are private things that shouldn’t be gossiped about.” he stated with no response. ”Hello there are people in danger and I can’t do anything from here.” the boy said as the princess kept her ground as if she was ignoring him which aggravated him as his eyes turned green and the orange aura returned. “I know you can hear me, Now stop having dreamception over there and wake me up before I make you-” he demands were cut short as his sense went off causing him to turn around to see another alicorn, this one’s coat was of a complexity of the clouds on a partly cloudy day with what appeared to be a tattoo of a sun on her flank.

“You shall not speak to royalty with that tone of voice!” She commanded, her voice all too familiar to Mike.

“Principa- I mean Princess Celestia I take it?” he asked.

“You catch on pretty quickly.” She complimented.

“Alright what's this about? I'm on tight schedule not dying and saving lives at the moment.”

“That's the point this may be considered an intervention you are not saving lives you’re nearly ending them, take the men you were fighting.”she said as an image of the diamond dogs appeared beside the princess causing the boys rage to intensify as well as the aura as he turned his back to her.

“So what there gonna get their slice of justice.”

“Not if some of these men die from their wounds before then, Your brother would be ashamed of you.”

Mike‘s frown turned into a sneer as he clenched his fist. “Don’t you dare say that as if you know him, or me!” he shouted as he spun around and swung right for her muzzle as she teleported back a few feet and fired a bolt of magic and it hit him in the chest before he could react, knocking him to the floor. he tried to get up only to be forced onto his back by a her hoof as she lowered her head so her eyes met his.

“Stop acting like a child and heed my words!” She shouted, then cleared her throat “Now look,” She started, her horn aglow as Mike’s vision was engulfed in white light. As the light died down was in the lunchroom. He arose from the ground to see the diamond dogs aiming their weapons at a white orb and the diamond dogs that were already knocked unconscious. The unconscious men’s skin faded until their skeletons and organs were visible. Upon closer inspection, he noticed multiple broken bones and bleeding of the organs. “Oh my god.” He thought.

“As you can see,“ Celestia started fading in right before the boy. “these men are severely injured and may have a chance of dying. From what I saw already, you wouldn't want an even heavier weight of guilt on your shoulders. Is this correct?.” The Princess asked.

“No, I don’t.” He replied, his head hung low, still with the orange glow. Celestia walked up to him and raised his head to see his eyes were still green and glowing through the darkness of his hood. She tilted her head head to the side and considerately asked. “You're mad at yourself, aren't you?”

Mike’s eyes widened before saying “Yeah actually, how did you know?”

“you mean you don’t feel it?”

“Feel what?” He questioned.

“This.” she said before she faded away and a mirror took her place. Mike’s looked straight at his reflection as he inspected his eyes followed by the aura. as she faded in on her right. “What is this?” He asked.

“It seems to be a magical representation of your emotions from what my mentor had taught me.” She replied. “As for the way I acted earlier, I’m sorry but it’s true.”

“yeah I know, he basically became my dad after our father left.”

“I see, and about your response to my statement, though I do not truly know you,” She started as she put a hoof on his shoulder. “I do know what it’s like to lose loved ones.”

“Really, who was it? ”

“It was my sister Luna she’s fine now obviously, now what is happening to you with your anger was the same with her jealousy, it changed her into something evil, as it will you.” The words sank into Mike’s heart as he turned to Celestia only to see her a blinding light filled his vision once more. When the light dissipated, he found himself on the platform once more ,turning back to Luna’s portion of the platform, he no longer saw her staring off into the darkness but a mirror, Celestia stood alongside her. He walked up to them. He saw her reflection, it wasn’t her at all. The alicorn was taller, about Celestia’s height, her coat was darker, her tail and mane were a blue mist with cobalt armor.

“Your eyes do not deceive you sir knight that is me.” Luna finally spoke, let this be a warning to never let your dark side take over.”

“She’s right, ” Celestia began, “ no matter how hard we try there will always be a dark version of ourselves locked inside of us, always trying to best us. she finished with Mike now looking at her reflection. It was mostly the same, though her mane was a mess, the color mainly being the pink shade out of all three with no shine in it at all, not even flowing in the non-existent wind even missing her crown atop her head. “One day, it may even happen to me. but it’s not about us today it’s about you.” She pointed to the mirror. Mike turned to face it. His outfit was just the same only the orange and green switched, a black belt, gloves and a silver buckle instead of gold.

“I’m so selfish.’ He said , the princess’ giving him the glare of confusion. “When I started this, I wasn’t doing it for the people of the city, I was doing it for myself.” He confessed. “I wanted them to feel the same pain as I did when I lost my brother and each time I do it, I always fight the urge to do more than just knock them out.” he said as he turned around and walked away from the mirror. “Everyone thinks I’m a monster, and they’re right.” he clenched his fists.

“Not in our minds sir knight, you can still change their minds,” Luna added.

“Yeah right, like that would ever happen, after all the pain and fear I’ve brought to those people,” he said.

Celestia knew that those students needed a center minded hero, not a distressed wreck. Luna put a hoof on his shoulder to reassure him. “Look, your past is a part of you no matter how dark it has become,” She started.

“Yet you can change your future to make it bright once more, not just for you, but for everyone,” Luna said.

Mike perked up, “Yeah, yeah you’re right. They need me now more than ever. I need to get back out there!”

“We also wanted to give you something we wanted to give you something .” Celestia said.

“Oh, is it another fake power?”

“Wait, how did you know the swordsmanship wasn’t the actual power?” Luna asked.

“Oh just because I’ve had previous experience with swordsmanship when i was younger, i just got really rusty.”

She cleared her throat before speaking, “Do you remember that monstrosity of a blade had broke during your battle?”

Don’t remind me, I was going to buy a replica of a sword anyway."

“There will be no need to, for we bring a gift.”

“Wait, how could you give it to me, we’re in a dream world and in separate worlds, remember?”

"Magic has strange properties to you, but still simple nonetheless.” she said, her horn glittered blue and an orb the size of a marble drifted towards him. “Go on, take it.”she said. At first hesitant, he reached for the orb with his left hand and closed his eyes, he felt a warm sensation coming off the orb of light. Then Mike felt a sudden weight in his hand. He opened his eyes to see a new sword. the hilt had a golden pommel, a smooth ivory grip, a gold symbol engraved into it and an embedded ruby that connected to a circular rainguard that dropped past its golden cross-guard that also had another ruby gemstone in it into the hilt portion of the weapon. it had a golden rim with rivets of gold with a the rest being silver and had a portion of gold that had a double helix design engraved into it go right through it and slightly onto the blade slightly which didn’t seem to have a fuller or central ridge but did have another symbol engraved on it.

Mike checked over every detail about the weapon “ Wow, this is amazing thank you both.”

“You are very welcome sir knight” Luna replied.

“Why give this to me though?” He asked.

“Well when we first saw you Luna and I seemed that as if the weapon was made for you.”

“Alright, what’s so special about this sword?” he asked, examining it as it vanished in a flash of light along with the sound of a sword being sheathed.

“Well first of all you can summon that weapon at any time through your pocket space ability without-,” Luna exclaimed before being interrupted.

“Actually the full the name is the Magical Limitless Pocket-space or the M.L.P for short, but anyway I digress continue.” he said.

“As I was saying, you can summon it without having to concentrate.”

“How did know I needed to concentrate to summon stuff?”

The Lunar princess smirked. “We knew because we see that you’re in deep thought before you summon an item, other than that your blade is very sharp, durable, and can cut through just about anything like steel for example.”

“Wait a minute, didn’t we get through the ‘don’t kill anyone’ thing already?”

“I did personally cast a small slumber spell on its edge and it shouldn’t hurt anyone, you’ll see when in use.” Luna ensured.

“If you say so,” Mike said with worry, summoning his blade and taking another look at it as he continued. “As long as this thing doesn’t send me to an alternate universe or something I think I’m good with this.” He finished right when his head began to ache as he heard a distorted feminine voice becoming more and more clear saying to ’Come out’ and ‘you can save us’ to the point where he can make out who it clearly was being that of Rarity. “What the- Rarity?”

“So it appears that our meeting must end for now.” Celestia informed.

“I guess it is, so when will I see you again?” Mike asked.

“Oh we shall see each other soon Sir Knight,” Luna ensured. “We shall send you back now, good luck.”

“I will.” The boy dismissed his new blade as the rulers of Equestria lit their horns brightly as they both recited the same statement. ‘“Oh brave knight, swift as wind, heed their call.” suddenly the area around him shifted to bright white feeling that he was no longer standing on ground but floating in the air, hearing loud zapping noises but past the noises, he heard the desperate cries of Rarity pleading “You need to come out of there we all need you, Sir Swift.” At the final words of that statement, “That name…” Mike flinched at the sounds that formed that name but felt a spark that overwhelmed it. When that spark went off inside himself, he knew what he needed to do.

After the past couple of minutes of trying to get through to the hero she was just about to give up but after her last statement she was soon responded by his voice which seemed to sound be less deep but slightly cocky that said “ I suggest that you back up m’lady.” Doing as told, the white girl made haste in her retreat as the orb began to glow brighter until the orb then it exploded shooting light outwards which knocked some of the hostages back and the Diamond Dogs Including R0V And his Metal Mutts even further and sending some of the weapons flying since they were the only ones who were standing. In the midst of the explosion, Fluttershy had stirred from unconsciousness and Rainbow was first to notice . “Fluttershy are you okay?” she asked with concern. Still somewhat drowsy it took a moment to respond.” oh yes Rainbow I’m fine I think.” She had looked past her friend’s shoulder and her eyes widened and pointed past dash “Look!”she said. Dash turned slowly until the corner of her eye caught him and completely turned around.

Standing there where the orb once was the knight with his suit was fully repaired of cuts and dribbled bloodstains,Mike feeling that he was healed completely. The hero raised his left hand up to shoulder height and moved it to his right, he then wiped his arm to his left as his sword appeared in his hand with the sound of it being drawn and smirked “Hey R0Vy I’m ready for round 2.” He said as he got in a semi-crouch and brought his right arm over to his left as his right gloved hand grasped his his left which grasped his blade tightly as it hung to his left.

“Shocked the leader asked. “How are you still alive?!?!”

“Well I must admit, your toys really hurt don’t get me wrong, but it did hurt in a ‘a bunch of tasers all at once’ kinda way.” The knight then chuckled. “You sure your boys didn’t have their phasers set to stun?”

The man face palmed , wiping his face to reveal a scowl as he stared daggers at his men. ‘You Idiots,” He shouted. “I told you to not have those things set to C&D! Now change it to eliminate and kill him!” he commanded with the men who still had the weapons changed its color from orange to red.

“Me and my big mouth.” Mike thought,Making a break for the closest man and shouted.”Everybody stay down!” He quickly zipped past the armed men and stopped on the other side. the men turned around and took aim at the Knight while he stood there,not even in a fighting pose and they pulled the trigger which resulted in a clicking noise. ”Why isn’t it working?’ One of them asked as another took a look. ‘Hey our power cartridges!”

“Oh so that’s what those things were, I thought it was a fashion accessory.” he said with an innocent tone as he held up a small bag out of nowhere with the cartridges inside and vanishing into his M.L.P. before returning to his battle stance. He surveyed his surroundings and limited his options. “Okay, Eleven men, a couple with weapons nearby and two metal mutts, alright those dog are going for a walk to the scrap yard first.” Holding his blade at shoulder height he charged towards the group. The Mutts leaped past the men to attack first with the one he rode previously swiping his claw at Mike but instead of evading the attack he threw his weapon up to block the attack. moves making contact some people gasped to see that his weapon actually held up from the attack as the Knight pushed the claw away making the mutt stagger leaving open for an attack and swung his sword in a downward swing with a silver arching blur. As the attack hit, sparks of light shot off of the point of contact but that didn’t let Mike stop his combo as he swung his blade side to side and then finishing with a strong downward strike, knocking the robotic dog on its back, before it could recover Mike had homing attacked its underbelly and grunted “Take that!” as he bounced off of it doing a mid-air trick as it exploded soon after.

After destruction of the robotic tyke five of the men went after the knight, some with sports equipment possibly from being stationed in the gym. The one closest to Mike threw a punch but he leaned back and evaded it so he was able to attack the man with a full combo and light sparks flying with the finisher knocking him on the floor. mumbles from the crowd could be heard until everyone was became silent as they heard loud snoring originating from the man. Mike dismissed his weapon in replace of his restraints which he quickly dispatched on the sleeping henchman. “It’s just his nap time everyone don’t worry he’s fine.” He joked as he drew his weapon as he placed the blade in the ground leaning his weight against it like a cane as the original five men continued their charge. “ And look they want me to tuck them in too, How adorable.” He cooed as he then drew the sword out of the ground, spun it a couple of times before returning to his battle stance.

One man threw a punch which Mike ducked and swung his blade catching two men in his wide five-hit combo putting them both to a deep sleep he flipped over one man’s swing of their bat then with his open hand he tossed two restraints on the sleeping men respectively. Mike landed with a recovering roll and his tooth sense Blared with the sound of a very loud growl coming from behind him. He turned around to spot a lunch table flying towards him. “Hope what the princesses said were true!” He thought as he then flipped and brought the blade down and cut right through the table and both hit the ground and skidded across the floor.The one half hit a nearby support pillar while the other half was speeding off towards a group of tied up students. “Oh no!” Mike thought as he ran to a table as he picked up a food tray and zipped to the mutt and threw the tray at its head with a splat and it’s contents fell to the ground followed by his sword which knocked it on it’s side as someone from the crowd shouted. “Not The Muffin!!” He dashed towards the skidding table as it neared his peers he had leaped over the table and landed right in front of it as he held his ground and arms with the table slamming into his back causing him to skid with it and slowed down, stopping a foot or so in front of the group. “That was a close one.“

He sighed in relief before hopping over the table and summoned his blade from where it landed , took down the closest diamond dog , homing chained the other two and stabbed the mutt with his blade followed by flipping off of it right before it blew up. Returning to the other two men Mike dodged one’s punch and ducked the other bat swing before catching both in a strong upward slash which knocked one on his back and the other into the air which he leapt up and hit him with a 3-hit combo and brought him down with a front flipping slash and tossed a restraint on his unconscious form once he landed. He walked over to the last man as he was about to restain before his tooth sense blared right before he kicked Mike in the gut, knocking the wind out of him before he was hit in the face with the bat which knocked him back. He got onto his feet and walked up, dodging the next couple of bat swings before grabbing the goon by the shirt and ripping the bat out of his gasp and throwing it to the ground.

"What are you?" The criminal pleaded and the Knight wasted no time answering aloud so everyone could hear.

"What am I, well I'm the person that's make sure that you punks don't cause any more fear in the people in this city and live peacefully in both night and day, What am I?" He paused with a smirk on his face, "I am Swift, Knight of the Wind!" He shouted before flipping him over his head and planting him on the ground with a restraint on his chest, securing him tightly.

Whipping the sweat from his brow Swift began to make his way over to the closest group of students and started to cut the rope that had been holding them down ”Well that’s was easy, more or less.” He said as he cut the ropes off two more people.

“Forgetting someone?”

The Knight’s sense went off and turned around to be punched right in the face and sent flying and crashed into the serving line and sword sliding across the floor by R0V.

"Oh yeah, you I forgot you were there," Swift groaned as he removed a pancake from the top of his hood, a strip of bacon from his shoulder before stuffing it in his mouth and continuing. "What were you doing, having your belly rubbed?"

"Shut The Hell Up!!" R0V shouted. He leapt at the knight, punching him, grabbing him by the hood, and throwing him through a window and leaping after him leaving the students to themselves.

The people that Swift did free got up and began to untie their peers, with Rainbow Dash taking notice, she called out to one of them saying " Hey Lyra, grab that clown's oversized letter opener and start uniting us over here will ya."

It has been some time since the Diamond Dogs had made their demands and Police Captain Shining Armor had been growing worrisome after the sounds of breaking windows occurred minutes ago. Not only did R0V have a cafeteria full of students, he had his sister and threatened to kill her first if they didn't meet their demands. Not just that, from the gang's history they were known to kill many of their hostages if SWAT was sent in and now he was in between a rock and a hard place. Looking around the students and staff that had been evacuated, his fellow officers, and of helicopters for both the local news and police , he realized something. "Strange, they didn't demand what's taking us so long." Shinning thought as his wakie talkie went off "SWAT team one request to breach the side entrance Sir?" The man on the other side questioned. The captain was about to respond but stopped by the crashing sound coming from the front of the cafeteria as Swift went flying through it as he flipped in mid air and outstretched his arm to fire his grapple cable at the building as R0V flew towards the Knight in a leaping motion and grabbed him by the ankle and threw him towards the front of the building and hit the building with a ground cracking smack and R0V jumped in front of him.

Swift groaned in place as the metal man approached him "Any last words Knighty?" R0V asked grimly before the Knight leaped up and homing attacked R0V in the chest, knocking him back.

"That's Swift to you and don't forget it pal And leave the name calling to me! " Swift said as he landed. R0V got up as he growled, "You're gonna pay for that !" As he swiped his robotic claws at him but Swift dogged him in a green blur. "At least I'm not acting like an enragement child." Swift jested which only made R0V more angry as he swiped faster and faster, roaring all the while but to no avail as Swift ran around his attacks at break-neck speed but was finally swatted back to the main steps by the blunt side of one of R0V’s claws. "Why won't you fight back!?!?" R0V growled.

“Oh no reason, just waiting for the audience to take their ‘seats’.” Swift said a he made air quotes with his fingers as the students that had been in the cafeteria had shuffled up to the entrance of the school the closest to the school doors with was Twilight a notepad and pencil. “Twilight!!” Shining called out in concern.

“Speaking of here they are now; hey can you guy step away from the windows, i don’t want either myself or that rust bucket crashing into any of you.” The knight added and the students complied and stepped back “Good now to put this oversized puppy in the dog house.”

Swift summoned his blade as he got into his fighting stance as R0V did the same, standing on his three robotic paws with the fourth hovering and scratching the ground “I’m gonna wipe the floor with you!” he shouted then he charged at the Knight on all fours.

“Man you want me to keep the dog puns pumping don't cha?” Swift joked as he Charged at R0V until they were only feet away from each other. The Dog-armored man leapt at him claws drawn but Swift slid under him and threw his blade back at R0V as he landed, stunning him momentarily as Swift made a U-turn for R0V to catch his sword before it hit the ground. He then lead into two Quick three hit combos , but before more damage could be done R0V Spun around with his tail whipping about in retaliation. Unluckily for him the Knight rolled out of the way before it even touched him. R0V ran up to Swift Swiping his claws a few times, which the Knight blocked , following by The Diamond Dog leaping up and slamming his paws down which Swift rolled out of the way with R0V’s claws getting stuck in the ground Which allowed Swift to land a few more combos before the Diamond Dog used his tail swipe again which Swift promptly jumped over and landed an aerial combo with finisher that had dislodged R0V's claws and knocked him back. R0V growled as the seems in his paws began to glow red and his paws shifted into its blaster form. "I'm gonna blast you to kingdom come!" He shouted as he fired red orbs at Swift. Taking notice the knight ran around in a green blur shouting "Everybody down!!!" As he evaded R0V's shots. R0V kept lay on the heat as he kept firing at Swift as he began to slow down which he then lowered a blaster arm which Swift took the opportunity to homing attack the Double D leader. Just as the Knight was moments away from coming in contact with R0V the leader swiped his once lowered claw which caught Swift in the chest, ripping his suit slightly. He yelped in pain as he was being knocked back before R0V’s tail caught and coiled the knight like a rock python R0V reeled his prey up close as he tightened his grip, choking Swift until he dropped his sword to the floor with a 'clang'. He then loosened the grip slightly and reeling him up close.

"Now i got you." he chuckles.

"Ugh, what is that smell?" Swift choked in question.

"Smell?" R0V asks in exasperation, his breath infiltrated the Knight’s nostrils.

"Mystery solved,” he chuckles “it's your breath." Swift joked only making the Diamond Dog furious.

"I've had enough of you!!" R0V yelled as flung Swift backwards and skidded to a halt right in front of the statue. The Knight panted, letting the oxygen back into his lungs as his pas shifted into its claw cannon as the build up made the in the inner barrel glow brighter and brighter. "Now Die!" Swift closed his eyes prepared for the inevitable.

Guard the projectile boy

The words flashed into his suddenly as they disappeared he had to give it a shot as it was his last resort. The Knight got up just as R0V fired the large red orb of energy, his blade appeared in his hand and he held it up in a blocking stance as the blast made contact. It was silent, Swift opened his eyes and gasped to see see the red orb mere inches from his face with his sword holding the shot back. "Th-at's not possible;how?!?!

"Apparently you haven't met me."Swift gritted. "Now Fetch!!"Swift shouted as he sent the blast back at R0V with full force. Before he could react the ball, it hit R0V in an explosion send him up in the air. Swift took this advantage and ran over and up the school wall and. Jumped off to catch the Diamond Dog in an aerial combo with the front flipping slash finisher slamming him to the ground. Swift landed in front of R0V as he layed there in pain from the punishment Swift had given him and walked towards him.

"So who's really in charge here?" The Knight asked.

"I don’t know what you're talking about."R0V replied bluntly as Swift crouched by him.

"You went through all of this just to get a kid in a hood; i highly doubt that." Swift said as he gestured towards the environment around them. “Now I'm gonna ask again, who is your-" he continued before his tooth sense went off as his ankle was grabbed by R0V’s tail and tossed into the air as R0V took the time to get back up. Before Swift hit the ground the tyke suited man spun around hitting him in the chest and back due to his previous spinning decent and swatted him away with the tail as he was sent sailing front first towards the flagpole as a light bulb went off in the Knight's head.

"Fool me once-" he catches the the pole by the right and and starts spinning around it. "shame on me fool me twice-" building up momentum from spinning and draws his sword and lets go, spinning like a cyclone towards R0V. "Shame On You!!" R0V held up his arms in defense but it was useless as Swift practically went right through him with the attack and fell to the ground. Swift landed and spins his weapon around before dismissing it and walked back over to the Diamond Dog leader 's limp form. "As I was saying what's your boss' name, now!"

R0V looked over to the Knight with sleep in his eyes. "His n-ame is doc-tor-" that was all he said before sleep took took his consciousness away.

"Dang it." Swift mumbled as he got up. And turned towards the crowd. They're all yours officers and by by the way some of the Diamond Dogs in there need medical attention stat." He then saluted before revving up and spin dashing away in a green blur leaving everyone speechless before the police moved in.

"So that pathetic wimp actually beat the worthless box of scrap that calls himself a Diamond Dog." Said a mysterious figure among five others. They were all in a circular room each with their own chairs in which they sat around a table with a holographic projection of a scene where Swift delivered the finishing blow to R0V be put on repeat like it was a vine on a cell phone.

"Oh this one's a fighter, I always love it when my victims put up a fight. "Said another figure.

"Well to bad for you as a’h think he’s to weak to put up a fight." A third figure said as they scrunched up their nose after finishing their statement.

"Well I for one don't care about how strong he is all i want is that sword of his, it glew like like a diamond and I want it to be Mine!." Yet another figure spoke before the fourth figure prevent them from continuing.

"I don’t really care, as long as he doesn’t attack destroy my home I think I’ll keep him around."

"Well I don't care about what you do pipsqueak" the first figure replied.

"Oh yeah, well I-"

"Enough!!" The sixth figure of the group finally spoke from his throne like chair. "As you all can see our plan was a huge success."

"A success? You've gotta be kidding me boss the meat wiped the floor with that world's Diamond Dogs." the the second person had said as they whisked a locke of their hair to the side of their head.

"But remember what the the boss said, we want this 'Swift' to cause a fuss when fighting these foes as apart of our plan." The fourth said as the sixth nodded in agreement.

"Indeed as long as anarchy is created as a result of his heroics he will remain of use to us but, if he is to die so easily," he chuckles. "well then I have voted for the wrong party. Now we need another candidate since the last one didn't last this long, any suggestions?" The whole group went silent momentarily before the third figure spoke.

"Well we could always try another of our worthless business partners.

"No, we don't wanna lose all our assets in there just yet, anyone else?"

"Well there is one person i can think of but she doesn't live back at home so-" the fifth figure spoke before being interrupted by the 'boss' figure who had just appeared right beside them in a puff of smoke.

"Oh out with it, you could even whisper in my ear if you're too embarrassed to tell." The figure then leaned towards the other as the other whispered their suggestion into the boss's ear as he hummed in thought as he stroked his goatee.

"Yes such a good choice, she will do with our plan." He said as he walked away.

"And just what do we do now?" The first figure asked.

"All of you will return to your posts as i have left each of you your uniforms at those stations. I hope you like black by the way, and as for me, well it's time for the doctor to make a house call.

Chapter 6: The Aftermath

Swift entered the cafeteria once he made sure the coast was clear through one of the broken windows. He had to work fast, he knew the police were closing in, so he grabbed the broken cable from his left grapple gauntlet and his bag before he remembered the glowing object within the mound of scrap from the destroyed metal mutt. “Now what do we have here?" He questioned as he dug through the scrap. The Knight’s eyes widened as he pulled a beautiful fine-cut gemstone which was glowing a brilliant shade of blue. He then quickly summoned the small bag he used earlier and placed the gem inside. Moments later he heard footsteps approaching, quickly looting some more gems from nearby scrap piles and using his good gauntlet to escape through the same air vent he had used to make his entrance and made his way back to the bathroom, just before the screen on his gauntlet lost power yet again. "Aw Come On!!"

Meanwhile , outside the police had already gotten the students out of the building and sent a team in to secure it. Rarity, Dash, Pinkie, AJ, Fluttershy, Scoots, Applebloom, and Sweetie Belle made small talk amongst themselves, while Twilight made her way over to her brother. When Shining Armor noticed her, he ran towards her with open arms, "Twily, thank heavens you’re alright." He said.

"Well I'm glad you're here actually."

"Why is that?" The police captain asked.

"Well I've got some information about the Knight of the Wind." She replied pulling out her notepad.

"Twilight, I thought we went over this already."

"But that kid that took down Rover single-handedly, was the Knight, he said so himself."

"Oh, he did? Well, what exactly did he say?"

"He said his name was Swift, Knight of the Wind, and from my observations," she paused to skim through her notes to the correct page, "he is left handed, in his mid to late teens, possibly early twenties and is about 5` 8``. " she finished as she handed the notes over to Shining, which he read through quickly.

"Okay, I’ll take this info, just this once, but you have to stop trying to figure out who this 'Swift' is, alright?" he asked sincerely.

"Okay, Shining." Twilight said as someone came through on Shining's walkie-talkie.

"This is bravo team one. Over." The officer said, signaling the captain to respond.

"Ten-four, Armor speaking ,what’s your status? Over." He said.

"We found another student in the boys restroom what do you want us to do about it? Over." they asked. Twilight's eyes widened as she whispered in her brother's ear before he responded.

"His name doesn't happen to be Michael Winds, does it? Over."

The other line went silent momentarily before they answered. "Yes, it is, sir, how did you know? Over."

"Just a friend of my sister, send him out here with another officer. Over."

"Ten-four, Captain Armor. Over."

Minutes later MIke exited the building. His friends immediately took notice, most notably Pinkie Pie; she zipped over to him and whisked him up in a hug.

"Oh my goodness you're okay, oh who am I kidding, we were in danger so you must have been just fine, oh we should celebrate us not dying and-"

Pin-kie you're crushing m-y lungs." Mike interrupted her. Pinkie released him. "She squeezes tighter than R0V’s tail did," He thought.

"Sorry, Mikey," She apologised before smiling sheepishly.

"It’s okay, Pinks." Mike gasped.

"Are you alright there, Mike? Y'all look like you were strangled by a rattlesnake." Applejack asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine, how are you guys?” Mike replied.

“Oh we’re all fine Mike. Surprisingly, that hooded clown Swift manage to not get anyone hurt, besides those Diamond Dogs.” Rainbow said as the ambulance workers put some of the injured Diamond Dogs into an ambulance.

“Swift, who’s that?” He asked, thinking about how badly he injured them.

“Oh it’s the Knight of the Wind, guess he wanted the city to know his alter ego’s name or something.”

“Actually darling, I was the one who suggested that name, Rainbow Dash.” Rarity butted in.

“Oh, so that’s not his real name? Come on, Rarity, I really thought that he used his real name like an idiot.” Dash said with a frown as Twilight walked up to the group.

“Hey Michael, my brother is the police captain and would like to ask you some questions. Is that ok?” she asked.

“Ok, I’ll see you girls in a bit.” Mike and Twilight walked off. Rarity was about to make her way to another group before someone tapped on her shoulder. She turned around to find Fluttershy standing there.

“What is it, darling?” she asked

“Um, Rarity, do you mind if I talked to you, in private?”

“Why, of course not, just follow me.”

They walked until they got to a part of the campus with the least amount of people before they continued their conversation.

“So, what is it that you wanted to talk about?”

“Well, it’s about when I fell unconscious.” Rarity’s ears perked up.

“Yes, what about it?”

“Well, this may be hard to believe but well um- I had the same dream as you.”

“What?” Rarity asked..

“It all happened just as you told it for the most part.”

“And what do you mean by ‘for the most part’?”

“When I saw his hands, the colors weren’t the same, the gloves were black and the sleeves weren’t green but orange and I’m pretty sure his pants were green too.”

“How strange. Well, we can ponder about that later let's get back to the others.” Fluttershy nodded and they walked back to where they were previously to find Pinkie Pie zipping around, looking for someone until she caught a glimpse of them.

“There you two are. Where were you guys?” Pinkie asked.

“Oh, we were just talking Pinkie.”

“Was it by chance that while Shy was out cold, she had the same dream you did but Swift’s outfit was a different color?” Pinkie asked.

“How did you know that?”

“Just a hunch.” Pinkie grinned. “Anyway, I need your help, Rarity.”

“What for, Pinkie?” Rarity asked.

“Something I should’ve done two months and three days ago.” She replied clasping her hands.

“So let's go over this again. Is that alright, Mr.Winds?” Shining asked the young man in question who nodded in response.”So you were using the restroom when the hostage situation took place and when a couple of diamond dogs entered said restroom you hid in the stall that you were in until my team found you, correct?

“They did leave after someone called them to the cafeteria, from a walkie-talkie, I think, but other than that that’s what happened.” Mike answered.

The police captain gave a look over the statement that he had written down before nodding. “Everything seems in order, you’re free to go.”

“Thank you, Captain Armor, have a good day and good luck getting this all settled down.” he said as he walked back over to the group giving him time to think. “Poor Flutters, having to go through my past like that, to see him die right before her eyes, but would my clothes still be the wrong color from Rarity’s dream, and who was that voice that told me to block R0V’s shot?” He thought before shaking his head. “That can wait for another time, I have other stuff to worry about.” When Michael had arrived, he could see everyone lost in their own conversations, the closest group being Pinkie, Rarity, and Fluttershy. Mike walked silently behind the party fanatic and whispered in her ear “Hi.” Pinkie screeched as she literally jumped from the scare with Fluttershy and Rarity’s jaw dropping. “Was it something I said?”

“How did you scare me?” Pinkie asked.

“It’s simple, really, all I did was-” He said before Pinkie grabbed him by his shoulders.

“No, how could you scare me, it’s impossible to scare me, impossible, I tell you!!” Pinkie shouted as she shook the young man violently.

“I don’t know, I just scared you, I guess.” he said, then Pinkie stopped her shaking.

Pinkie was about speak again before the the feedback from a megaphone being turned on hurt everyone’s ears, Principal Celestia holding it. “Hello, students, I’m sorry to say that due to the attack, we must close school for the next few days for the police to conduct their investigation, so you may all go home, we will be sending out a robot call tonight with more information. Have a good evening, everyone.” When she finished the students began to cheer for the news.

“They all seem excited.” Mike said.

“Well why wouldn’t they be, darling? We’re getting a few more days out of school.” Rarity exclaimed.

“It was a rhetorical question. Say, Rares, if you don’t mind, could you-”

“Give you a ride home? No problem. I still have your bike after all.”

“Great, should we get going?” he asked.

“Indeed, we both have things we probably must attend to.”
So with that the two waved goodbye to their friends and went back to Rarity’s car. When they got into the car Mike realized that they were forgetting someone. ”Wait, what about Sweetie Belle?”

“She usually goes with the rest of the Career Minded Crusaders to find out what their careers are gonna be, hopefully they won’t try lion taming again.” She said as she started the vehicle’s engine.

“Okay, then- wait, what do you mean, Lion Taming?!?!”

On the ride back Rarity had explained what insane things the CMC had attempted which quite surprised Mike that some of them didn’t get any of the girls killed.

“Those are some stories, Rares.” He said, intrigued.

“Yes those three can be quite the daredevils sometimes.” Rarity said as her phone rang from within her bag.”You don’t mind, do you, Mchael?” the young man shook his head in response, so she answered the phone. “I wonder who she’s talking to..” he thought as she was looking away from Michael to prevent him from overhearing the conversation with Pinkie Pie.

“Heya Rares, where are you guys?” she asked happily.

“We are right by Sugarcube Cafe.” Rarity answered.

“Great, I just got permission, so all I need is for you to hold him off for about an hour, okay?”

“An hour. I’ll see what I can do.”

“Great. I’ll see you two there.” Pinkie beamed before hanging up as Rarity put the phone back in her handbag. She quickly thought of an activity to pass the time.

“Say, Michael, how about I show you around the city?” she queried.

The young man gave it some thought since he didn’t really remember any place special, he thought it would be a great way to know general land marks when setting up a general patrol of the city, so he nodded. “Sure thing. I've got time to spare.”

-An hour of driving later-

“And that’s just about a quarter of the city. Now, over there is-” Rarity was saying before she was interrupted.

“Rarity, I know you’re being generous and all but, besides the landmarks you pointed out did you have to point out all the shopping stores that you like or dislike as well?” Mike asked with with annoyance.

Rarity blushed. “Ah yes, my apologies shall we continue?”

He looked at his watch and said. “Nah, I’m good, it’s been about an hour, you're not holding me hostage, are you?” He asked leaving Rarity shocked before continuing. “You kinda left phone volume up, and Pinks isn’t the quietest of people.” he said.

Rarity giggled cutely. “My mistake.”

“Don’t worry I still don't know why you kept me so let’s keep this between us, don’t wanna see you sent down to Pinkie’s fun dungeon, am I right?” He joked nudging his friend’s shoulder.

“How did you know that she was going to do that Michael?” The designer asked, making the young man gulp as he realized that Rainbow Dash may have not been bluffing back at school.

“Just a guess. Shall we go?” He said gesturing forward.

“We shall, all I need is the directions to your abode.” Rarity said as they continued down the road.

“Sure thing. Say, how did Pinkie know where I lived?”

“I honestly have no idea, dear.”.

The schoolyard was desolate, only the vehicles of the investigative team were present, yet they were all inside the building looking through clues and rummaging through security footage on the cameras from outside the building so none of them were recording at the moment, one of which pointed at the statue. That statue being of a horse rearing on its hind legs on a tall base slightly taller than the average adult male height. What was special about this statue is that the base of each side is like a mirror and the side that faces the school is special, in that every thirty moons that mirror acts as a gateway between Equestria and this world for only three days, but what about the other sides? What if there is more than one Equestria linked to that portal? Well no need to question it as the mirror on the side facing the road began to glow as a male figure in a black hooded cloak, so no one could see his face, though he had a wicked smile, stroking the hair on his chin before saying, ”The doctor is in.” Before disappearing in a puff of smoke.

Chapter 7: Celebrations

“Food- check, drinks- checkeruni, decorations-” Pinkie and the others had been preparing for the party. There were balloons, streamers, cake, just the necessities needed for parties. Now all they really had to wait for Rarity and Mike so they just sat around, others were in small conversation just like Rainbow Dash and Mike’s mother,

“Thanks for letting us have this get together Mrs. Winds.” Dash said.

“Oh don’t mention it, it’s nice to know that Michael made so many friends just in one day, before that attack from those Diamond Dog goons.” the young man’s mother responded.

“You said it, Though it kinda bugs me, why would you name him ‘Michael’ any way?”

“Oh that's not the name we picked, he actually had his named changed and added a nickname.”

“Really, why did he change it in the first place?”

“It’s complicated, his real name was-”

“Everyone Hide, They Just Pulled In!!” Pinkie interrupted as she heard a vehicle pulling in so everyone took positions and Pinkie turned off the light closest to the front door.

As soon as The car parked Mike immediately got out of the car and retrieved his bike from the back.

"I'm gonna put my bike in the garage and I'll meet you at the door.“ He said as he passed her. Rarity exited the vehicle and headed to the entrance. It didn’t take long for the young man to catch up to his friend, she was about to climb the steps when he arrived. She climbed the steps like any other person until they both heard a click, the door flung wide open and confetti flew right at her face, startling her and suddenly fell back. Mike, still shocked attempted to catch her, but ended up being her safety mat as they tumbled to the pavement with an 'oof'.

"Surprise!!!" The gang cheered with their heads popping out of the doorway to see Mike and Rarity laying on the ground in slight pain.

“Woops hehe, a little too much confetti.” Pinkie blushed.

After that little mishap the party got under way there were some games, most notably Uno where the young man beat his foes without breaking a sweat, all except for Rainbow who had just played her second to last card where Mike had three cards left. “Ha Uno, try and beat that!” With that the boy Smirked deviously and placed his card, a wild add four. “Green.” He said calmly. She growled in irritation and she picked up the four and examined them before picking another card as the ones she had didn’t match the color she had but placed the one she drew, a green five.

“You really thought that you could beat me, the king of Uno?!?”He placed a green skip. “Well think again. Uno,” Following up with a green six. ”and game.” Mike threw his arms up in victory while the athlete fought the urge to throw her arms up to flip the table since the top was made of glass as everyone else applauded him.

“Good Game there Mike.” Applejack congratulated. “four times in a row, how’d y’all do it?”

“A cardsman such as myself doesn’t give away such secrets.” He said getting up to get some more punch.

“This isn’t magic you know!” Rainbow shouted from the living room as he enters the kitchen to find Pinkie who was watching cartoons on the small TV in there..

“Pinks, I thought You were with the others.” The young man inquired.

“Oh after you played the wild card i knew it was over so I came in here to watch cartoons.” She said cheerfully as Mike refilled his cup. ”It’s pretty cool that have a TV in the kitchen I mean who has a TV in their kitchen these days?

“No clue, this one was actually my brother’s before he left.” he had let slip before realizing he did.

“You had a brother, I didn’t see anyone else new at the school.”

“Well that’s because he left for college before we moved, one of those out of country ones.” He lied to catch himself

“Oh that's neat, you’ll have to write him a letter sometime about your new friends.” Pinkie suggested.

“Sure I’ll get to that when I have time. Oh and thanks for throwing this party, it was a little too quiet for its own good.” he thanked as his pet dog rubbed up against his leg and then ran over to Fluttershy.

“No problem Mikey. Oh, I almost forgot!” She then pulled out a green box with an orange bow on the lid and handed it to him.

“Thanks but when did you have time to get me a gift?”

“I may have had some help, go on open it!!” she was bouncing in excitement as he opened it to pull out a green striped ball and a note which he read aloud.

“Thanks again guys!” Michael thanked everyone as they left and each person had replied with their thanks and a handshake, except pinkie who gave him a hug, the door closed with a smile still on his face. “That was fun.” He then walked into the living room where his mom was watching the news.

~This evening the vigilante known as The Knight of the Wind now with the surname of Swift, Knight of the Wind struck again during the day this time around and saved a school cafeteria full of students from the menacing gang the Diamond Dogs and put an end to their crimes by taking out their leader known as Rover, which now begs the question if This “Swift” is a threat to the people to the city, we saw if Police captain Shining Armor could answer that question~

it then went on to Shining talking about how he still works outside of the law but to have caution, followed by the reporter mentioning than he he put R0V’s right hand men, Fido and Spot away in the prior months but then the phone rang.

“I’ll get it, could you please take out the trash Kiddo? His mother asked as she pet Gizmo and picked up the phone. doing as told, the young man took the trash to the green bin out by the garage. he put the garbage in the container as he got a chill down his spine as if he was being watched and looked over towards the road where he saw someone wearing a black cloak staring out into the night sky. He approached the person realizing that he had feminine features. “You alright there mam?” the question made the woman jump and turn around, her face covered by the darkness by the hood.

they stared at each other for a few moment before the woman removed the hood, having grayish- light blue skin he recognized it as none other than his vice principal Luna. “Greetings Mr. Winds.

“Hello vice Principal Luna what brings you around this neighborhood?” He asked.

“Just on an evening stroll, admiring the evening sky.”

“Yeah, it's a beautiful night. he said as he walked beside her admiring the sparkling of the evening stars.

“You enjoy the night as well?”

“Well during the summer I get to stay up longer, and it actually gave me new appreciation for the night. he smiled. “the sense of the nightlife is pretty cool.”

“Well i thought that more people are asleep than awake during the night because they don’t have any use for it.”

“Don’t think like that, everyone just needs they’re asleep and the ones that are awake make up for the others with the energy at parties or clubs. I've been by a few when i take my dog out on long walks.” he said.

“Yes you are quite right Mr. Winds i should know better than to forget that.” Luna smiled which Michael rarely sees from the times that they spoke he then turned around and walked back.

“Have a good evening. Oh Vice Principal Luna I wanted to ask when-” Michael turned to ask Luna to find that she had vanished.”Where’d she go?” He shrugged it off and headed back inside as three stars were eclipsed by the moon.

Michael walked back inside to find his mother putting the phone on the base. “Who was it?” He asked.

“It was the robo call from the school, you got three extra days off school while everything is sorted out with the investigation.” as she continued to pet the dog. “You seem tired, that party must have taken it out of you huh?”

“No I’m good, not tired at all.” He yawned.

“Right, I’ll walk gizmo and you get some shut eye.” she said as she got up and ushered her son to the stairs.

“Alright fine I’ll sleep.”He said in defeat as he climbed the stairs but turned back to face her. “Just stay safe out there okay?”

“I’ll be fine just sleep.”

“Okay, good night then.” He said as he went to his room and closed the door “But before that I need to see the damages.” He walked up to the mirror and switched outfits and looked at himself confused as the suit was just fine.” where are the cuts, i'm pretty sure that R0V did a number on this thing. I wonder…” He then took his sword and proceeded to cut his sleeve and watched as a magical light that covered the cut and vanished, to reveal the cut disappeared as if it didn’t exist. “That’s a new one, this suit surprises me everyday.” He changed back and put his pajamas, throwing his prior outfit in the hamper and putting his present on the nightstand. Michael turned the light off fell asleep with a smile which changed to a frown as his nightmares haunted him once more and a princess wasn't there to save him.

Chapter 8: A new schedule

The next morning Mike had arose from another fearful nightmare but had gotten over it quickly. After he cleaned himself up, got dressed, and ate breakfast he was about to get his things school but remembered about the robo call from last night so he ran up to his room. “Alright, let's get to work.” He said with slight smirk on his face.

He sits at his desk and closes his eyes to concentrate, thinking about his gauntlets, their design and size for a bit before he then imagined both within his hands. Then they both just appeared in a flash of light within Mike's grasp and sets them on his computer table, repeating the process of the bag of gemstones from that powered the Metal mutts. Pulling out a box of tools, he begins to think. “Alright let’s see if I can get this to work.” He removes the battery and pulls out a gemstone that matches the size of the battery and puts it into the battery compartment with some rubber wading wrapped around it and secured the wrap with duct tape so both the top and bottom are exposed and closed the compartment. ”Please don’t explode, please don’t explode.” He pressed the button to turn the gauntlet on hesitantly, then nothing happened. ”What the?” Mike hits the the tool with his palm and it turns on, glowing a little. ”Great it work, now for a test it.” the young man puts the gauntlet on and picks a bottle from the table. “Grapel test in 3, 2, 1.” The young man throws the bottle up and aims his arm at the target and clenches his palm twice in quick succession to trigger the firing mechanism but then his phone rings making him jerk his arm as it fired and missed, hitting the wall. “Who could be calling me this early in the morning?” The young man asked himself asked himself as he went to the nightstand to retrieve the phone.

He picks up the device and reads the number as the contact reads ”Pinkie” Mike raises an eyebrow before answering. “Hello?”

“Heya Mikey, how’s it going?” The girls asked joyfully.

“I’m just fine, besides the part where i found out that one: you have my phone number and two: I have have you as a contact in my phone.”

“Oh right I forgot to mention that I took your phone to add you as a contact on mine and to add myself to yours.”

“You could have asked me but besides the point why are you calling so early?” He asked.

“Well I was wondering if you would ill wanna join the others at Sugar Cube Cafe later?”

“Sure, what time should i be there?” He looks at his watch to check the time.

“Oh around 3 hours from now.”

“yeah, I may arrive a little late but I’ll be there.”

“Great, We’ll see you then!” Pinkie Smiled from her side of the conversation.

“Alright Pinks bye.” Mike said before hanging up, the gauntlet making a buzzing noise before he whacked it again to make it stop before making it vanish along with the bag of gems . “Alright now that Swift has been seen during the day, might as well get to work now.” Mike unlocked his door and headed down stairs and patted Giz on the head and waving to his mother before heading out and heading towards the city but stops in a secluded alley way near the edge of the suburbs to change his outfit. “Alright lets party!” he said in his altered voice as he ran towards and up the wall to grab a windowsill and turn to leap off and run up the adjacent wall and grabbed onto a pipe that lead to the rooftop and hastily climbed it and ran to the adjacent side of the building. Swift pressed a few buttons on the topside of the gauntlet and and pressed two fingers against his earpiece. “Time to check in on the radio chatter.”

After about a couple minutes of scanning the Knight got a response that caught his attention. ~We got a reports of a 10-32 at Bogg Avenue over~.

“A person with a gun, well bogg isn’t too far from here. Time to clock in.” Swift said as he dove off the building and fired a grapple at the side of the building which pulled him along the wall to run along it and around the corner towards the crime in a green blur.

-Two Hours and Fifty Minutes Later-

Swift had just detained an unconscious criminal with his restraint disks followed by catching the enclosed fist from another goon who had tried to throw a punch at him while he wasn’t looking, yet these weren’t any other criminal s no, they were Diamond Dogs. The Knight was perplexed when he saw this group were trying to sell weapons to other criminals but now he could get some answers so he held the brown suited man up by his grey bullet proof vest and spoke in a more menacing tone. “What is your gang still doing around here? If you didn’t catch the news R0V is Behind bars by yours truly.”

”I have nothing to say to a kid.” The thug defended weakly.

Swift rolled his eyes before summoning his sword against the dog’s throat “Then I’m pretty sure the no one would miss you when you’re gone.” he replied grimly

“You wouldn’t.”

“Try me.”

“O-Okay we’re still around but not as big as before just simple thugs for hire and I’m pretty sure the new boss wouldn’t try the same trick twice but that’s all I know I swear!!” he revealed desperately.

“Thanks for the info” the Knight threw the thug against the wall with ease and restrained him with a couple of disks. the criminal try to struggle free but with no avail, Swift chuckles to himself. “Works everyti-“ He said before being stopped my a light beeping coming from his earpiece, pressing it against his ear before speaking in his normal speaking voice. “Hello?”

The Diamond Dog stop struggling to watch the conversation to play off from Swift’s side.

“We already talked about -. Yes I told you i could- Wait party canon??”

crooked chuckled at the vigilante’s annoyance.

“Let me stop you there, You called me like a billion times in the past 2 hours and I already agreed . I also understand that I have less than 10 minutes but I already told you that i might run late and you calling is only gonna making me waste more time now I’ll be there in about 13 after, 7 if I’m fast enough okay? Alright, sorry that i kinda lashed out like that. Okay, no harm no foul. Bye.” Swift noticed that the thug was watching “You heard nothing.” He said before climbing out of the alley and running over to the Cafe.

The Knight had dropped down from the fire escape in the alley besides Sugar Cube Cafe changing back as he landed. Looking around for anyone watching, Mike smiled and ran around the corner and into the building. He walked up to the counter where a light blue toned woman with light crimson hair smiling eagerly at him as he approached.

"Welcome to Sugar Cube Cafe. What can I do for ya?" She greeted

"Yes would you know where a Pinkie Pie is, she wanted to meet up with me here." The teen asked.

"Oh Pinkie just got on break, she just went up to her work room with a few friends." The woman responded as She pointed to the door besides the counter. "she said she was waiting for someone so you can go on up she's just three doors down to the right but try to keep the noise down my children are taking a nap."

"Okay thank you mam."

"No problem, and everyone just calls me Mrs. Cake."

Alright then Mrs. Cake, the name is Michael Winds, you can call me Mike by the way and thanks again. He said before going through the door that Mrs. Cake pointed out. When he climbed the stairs behind the door and quietly walked past the first two doors and entered the third room to find Pinkie and Twilight we're standing at a table with a blue Canon atop of it but both were staring at the teen.

"Hiya Mikey!" The pink haired girl said gleefully as she wrapped her arms around him in a tight bear hug.

"Pinkie, my lungs. I wanna breathe." He said causing her to release him."

"Sorry, it won't happen again I promise ." Pinkie apologized.

"It's fine Pinks. So what do we have here?" The teen asked not specifying anyone in general .

"well Pinkie has been having problems with her party cannon and she wanted both of us to try and help find how to fix it but while you were running late I believe I figured out the major problem after she gave me a test run.” Twilight informed him.

“Let me guess, too much gun powder to work with the wadding to protect the confetti and balloons?”

“Well that and that she also puts too much party decorations in there but how did you figure that out “ she asked intrigued.

Michael began to do a walk around of the table as he examined the cannon in finer detail. “Well to just looking at the cannon itself is both small and the barrel is fairly thick so the space within the barrel is pretty small. So from there I guessed was that Pinkie wanted a lot of confetti and whatnot to be shot at a longer distance so she I guessed that Pinkie added more powder and party favors to compensate with her desired expectation of performance right?” He looked over at Pinkie.

“That’s about it. the girl in question nodded. “Does that mean I just have to use less stuff now.”

“Yup, as the saying goes ‘when life gives you lemons, make lemonade.’

“Or make life take the lemons back and get mad.” Pinkie added making twilight confused but didn’t phase the other teen in the room.

“Thanks for the words of wisdom Johnson, but besides that if there’s nothing else you need I’ll just be going.” he said as he began to walked to the door before Twilight spoke.

“Where are you going?” She asked.

“As we have a few days before school I’d just want to get ahead by studying, like a lone wolf y'know.”

“will you be able to meet up tomorrow Mikey?” Pinkie wondered.

“I-I…” He froze momentarily giving it some thought. “I don’t know, I’ll give you a call if I'm open but i may be too busy the next couple of days, but I will see you at school okay?” They both nodded. “Alright, I’ll see you guys and the others around I guess.” He said one last time before closing the door behind him leaving Pinkie and a Pondering twilight.

“Was I just like that when i first met you guys?” Twilight asked her pink friend.

“pretty much yeah.” Pinkie responded with no subtlety in her voice making Twilight rub the bridge of her nose.

chapter 9: Harbor Hyjinx

-2 days later-

As the sun set upon the mostly cloudy horizon the night life arose with the the rich and wild on the streets to have fun at parties or to fine dinners at the fancy restaurants. these people have to always dress up either for keeping appearances or just to make themselves feel good about themselves, being prepared for any occasion such as Rarity who had been wearing a black dress with high heels and enough makeup that evening but was not heading to any parties or restaurants but simply walking down the streets. Soon droplets of rain began to fall so she quickly grabbed a small umbrella from her purse, looking back as she did spotting three men behind her. She opened the window and picked up the pace making sure she didn’t trip on her heels, looking back she noticed the men were speeding up she wasn’t scared but had a slight smirk forming on her lips as she ran into a nearby alley with the males braking into a sprint after her. Rarity ran as far as she could until hitting a dead end, turning around as one of the men grab her and put a knife to her throat making her drop her umbrella with fear in her eyes as the man spoke in a raspy tone “give us the purse or else you’ll be going home in a body bag got it.”

Rarity was about to open her mouth before someone spoke for her . “ ‘Going home in a body bag’ really? I mean I can think of something ten times better.” Looking up both the muggers and Rarity found the origin of the voice which came from not other than Swift who was hanging from the fire escape. Leaping off he spun into a ball of green and homed in on two of the muggers knocking them aside. Landing, the Knight drew his sword out and swung at the third with as much force as he could, sending him against the alley wall with the sparks flying and leaving him unconscious. The other thugs had gotten up and charging at him both preparing to attack but the Knight grabbed both of them by their fists, squeezing them very tightly making both holler in pain. letting go the muggers rubbed their injured hands moments before Swift Kicks one in the gut, sending him to the ground. Spinning around, he then sent the other into the air with an uppercut and slashing him to the ground and into the second guy, knocking them onto his back as he tried to get up, knocking them out cold.

“That was astounding.” Rarity said in awe. causing Swift to turn towards her approaching her slowly with a menacing sneer across his mouth. she gulped as he got closer, even enough that she could make out the lining of a mask over his eyes and stood there, staring her down.. without her noticing, Swift hooked his foot under her umbrella and kicked it up ,catching it and raising it to her making her jump as she thought it was his sword. “Why, thank you Sir Swift.” she said as she took it from the Knight.

“What are you doing out here?” Swift asked, avoiding her reply.

“It is very uncouth to not be grateful to a lady.”Rarity huffed as she rolled her hair back, causing Swift to chuckle to himself .

“My apologies, you're welcome. Now would you answer my question?

“Well I was looking for you.”

“By almost getting yourself killed.”

“That's not the point, I just wanted to thank you for saving the school.”

“That’s not why I do this Mam.”

“The name is Rarity Darling, but it wasn’t just to thank you; it was to see if you were okay?”

“What do you mean?” Swift asked in curiosity.

“Well the thing is, my friend Fluttershy and I saw into your past as we were unconcious.

“yes that, I don’t mean for you to see that, it’s just beyond my control”

“I don’t mind personally.” Rarity paused momentarily. ”It must have been very hard to lose your brother huh?”

“That’s none of your concern.” he growled before turning and walking away from his friend. “I gotta get back on patrol.”

“Wait, I may have something that could help you.” Rarity pled.

“What is it?”

Rubbing her arm, she replied “Well while I was trying to find you the past few days, I overheard some ruffians speaking about some kind of deal at the docks, it may have sounded important.”

Swift grinned at the words. “Thank you,” Swift then then started to climb up the fire escape on the building walls.

“one more thing.”

He stopped climbing. ”Yes Rarity?”

“ I get that you don’t wanna let anyone in but you can trust your friends I'm sure they’ll you out of darkness and into the light.”

He looked to the side, thinking before he spoke. “I’ll consider it. Stay safe Miss. Rarity.” Was the last he said before escaping into the night.

“I will, thank you Sir Swift.” Rarity beamed before running out of the alley and back towards the place where she parked her car.

Swift was on the corner of the building on the block which was parallel to the docks of which he was informed by his friend about an hour or so ago, examining the area for suspicious activity as the sound of rain and thunder crackled through the night sky. “This better not be a dead lead.” He mumbled to himself. “Rarity’s heart must’ve been racing before I showed up, maybe she could’ve been in the heat of the moment and said the wrong place by mistake. Then again you probably aren’t trusting her enough as you should.” Swift shook his head as he thought “ I gotta know a bit more about them if i can trust those girls.” He had mentally concluded just as he spotted some type of speed boat with a few crates on board. “shipping crates on a speedboat, I guess Rares wasn’t mistaken.” Swift said before proceeding to climb down, grabbing onto a ledge on each story to survive the fall.

In a blur Swift had ran for a building right by where the boat had stopped, he scaled up to the roof with ease to get a better view without getting caught. There was about fifteen men there some had guns and knives just for self defense. There was one more person there however, their figure was of more feminine qualities wearing a brown leather jacket, pants,boots, including a slightly darkened yellow gloves white ski-mask.

“Alright boys,“ She said in a tom-boyish like tone. ”You know the i got plenty of boom sticks to go Around, for a price of course.”

“Gun Trafficking, that's all I need to know.” The knight had thought before dropping down, landing on the closest thug to him; he had placed a restraint disk on his chest when he had knocked him down. ”Hello ladies, i heard there was a sale on shoes so i thought that I’d indulge.” he joked.

“It’s Swift, he’s been watching us!” One of the thugs have shouted though he was partially correct, there was a figure standing on top of the crane was a man in a black cloak. That man snapped his fingers, doing so caused three walls of hexagon like barriers, blocking the only ways out. All of the men were shocked as this occurred, some men had pounded on the field but to no avail.

“Stop wasting energy you Dweebs!” The masked female shouted. “Obviously that overgrown action figure is doing this, kill him and we’ll be free to go and I’ll give the guy that does it an entire case, free of charge.” those words made all the thugs snap their attention on the Knight.

“Sure thing Grif.“

“Guys this isn’t me, The worst I could do is leave you dangling on a lamp post.” he had said while dodging multiple swipes from a knife wielding thug, catching it on the final swipe into giving him a head but, making him stagger, finishing it off by spinning around and slashing him down to the ground with his blade.

He got in his fighting stance as the other men surrounded him.without wasting time he slashed through the group with ease. “Who’s having a great time, raise their hand!” Swift had called out as knocked out a trio of the thugs or other things like “Done, and done.” when taking out two more in quick succession. In no time he cleared the area of thugs, the barrier going down moments later.

“I only count 15, wheres little miss sweet 16?”He had questioned himself, panting lightly. Turning to the boat he had found the person in question who had turned on the ignition and slammed on the acceleration to make her escape. “Oh no you don’t!” he ran up and grappled onto the back of the speedboat which had pulled him towards the water. He had braced himself and landed feet first but with the boat going as fast as it was, pulled him across the water as if he was on water skis. “Wooohooo!” the knight cheered as he was pulled across the water.

Grif had turned back to notice that Swift was on her tail she reached over to. The passenger seat and grabbed an assault rifle, focusing her aim she fired at him the sound of the firing weapon overcoming the sound of splashing water and rainfall. The Knight saw her aim the weapon and shifted his body left and right to avoid being shot though one of the bullets nicked his shoulder pad, scraping the green off leaving a line of silver. ”do you know how long it took to color that thing, well i don't know myself but that isn't the point. He complained as he kept swerving. This didn't last too long when the gun ran out of ammunition so Grif tossed it aside to reach for another one before Swift called out. “we're about to crash if you don't turn right now!”

Looking back up front the boat was heading straight for a much larger one which was sailing across the perpendicular direction they were headed in. In quick response she made a hard right, evading the boat however swift made a wider turn and was still going to hit the boat so before he made contact he had pushed himself up and off the water's surface, flipping himself so he landed on the side of it speeding along it so he wouldn't fall in. The Knight ran along he got even closer to the speed boat so he retracted his grapple and jumped off the large boat, grappling on Grif’s boat and reeled himself in.

The arms dealer took another look back as Swift was about to land so she reached for the the ignition and turned the key forward one mode before getting up but instead of losing control the boat continued to move straight. When he landed Swift got into a fighting stance with his weapon smirking. “an autopilot for a boat, weird but it works.”
Grif cracked her knuckles “ I'm gonna staple your mouth shut when I'm through with you.” She then threw her arms up in a boxing stance.
Swift swung at Grif but she bobbed and weaved out of the way “so you do care about me, how sweet.” He took another swing but his opponent grabbed his hand and kneed him in the gut making him drop his weapon before she gave the knight an uppercut making him stagger back.

Picking up the blade she examined it closely “you're just a kid who's too sacred to fight with his fists.” She threw it behind her and into the water. “I figured that we change that rule to even the odds.”

“First my shoulder pad and now my sword, you sure are one for vandalism aren't you?” he asked, swinging a few times at his combatant who had blocked each strike and countered with punches to the face and gut. “ that's actually how I started my career, with an old friend of mine the shadow bolt, but we're not here to reminisce, we're here so I can kick your ass.” she gloated before running towards Swift, clenching her fist as she prepared her attack. Noticing this, Swift charged her, “Hey batter batter, swing!” just as she swung, the knight got down and slid under the punch. Before she could even turn around he had already gotten up and delivered a spin kick to her back followed by a an elbow to the back of the head, knocking her towards the back of the boat.

Swift ran up and lifted his leg to kick his foe in midair but he failed to make contact with his foot due to Grif swerving out of the way and instead he caught his shoe between the rail and the ledge of the stern. He tried to dislodged his appendage however, while doing so Grif decked him square in the face knocking him on the floor and dislodging his foot for him. Next she grabbed her hooded adversary by the collar and relentlessly threw even more punches. Once she finished she used her boot to roll him over and grabs him by the back of the back of his shirt and belt. “have a sweet dream with the fishes down there.” she smiles before throwing the knight in the water.

Swift immediately resurfaced and turned back towards the speed boat to see Grif kissing her sleeved biceps in victory as she got away. “Yeesh, egotistical much? So Grif and the Shadow bolt eh, i'll have to do some digging when I get home.” Swift thought as he began to swim back to shore before looking for at his shoulder pad which was damaged to see the color had returned to the damaged area. “I still don’t understand how this outfit does this but eh it works.” He then began to remember the first time he had ever gotten the suit.

-A few months ago in Manhattan-

The door to the bedroom flung open and Mike had stepped inside carrying the orange and green outfit from that infamously fateful night. He tossed the clothing aside, Landing among a set of boxes is both him and his mother were in in the middle of moving to the city that he now calls home. “ okay so I'm gonna do this in the city of town I'm going to have to get an actual costume this time.” he pulled out a sketchpad and pencil and began to draw but with each concept and color palette Mike just threw each one out, no consistent design coming to his head as he scratched it in frustration. “Ugh come on me, why can't you think of something creative I mean I tried everything, well everything except…” Taking a look back the original outfit that he wore and then the light in his head turned on and the gear started spinning, his hands were like a bullet, the plane the pencil making its mark each stroke the initial design which what it looks like what he wears now and with his colored pencils she began to color it using oranges greens blacks and very dark shades of red for the hooded shirt portion, pants, belt/gloves and shoes respectively.

Taking another look back he sighed, “no, no this won’t do..” he said to himself as he ripped the page out. Mike leans back in his chair taking another thought over the design choice before snapping his fingers. “I got it!” he goes back and redraws the previous design even adding a few decoration pieces such as buckles for shoes and a buckle for the belt with the Lightning bolt on it since he wasn't at properly drawing a lightning bolt it ended up looking somewhat like an ‘S’. When he got to the coloring he went with orange and green again but this time swap the arrangement of those colors while brightening up the Reds, changing the blacks to browns, and making the buckles to the shoes and belt gold, now looking exactly what he wears now.

Mike nods in satisfaction ” now that's more like it, I think I'll call it ‘the knight of the wind’.” he got up from his chair, the light reflecting the image of the design of his watch then suddenly began to tighten and glow , wincing in pain Mike tried to remove it but to no avail and just as I came the pain in light stopped the watch is back to normal except for the glowing arrow on the rim aiming in a curve. In curiosity he took the breval of the watch and twisted sideways just as the arrow had shown. Gasping in surprise, his body was engulfed in a flash of light and when the light dissipated his iconic suit was clung to his body. He carefully examine the suit before in a blur sped off to the bathroom to examine it further. He was surprised fine I looked exactly like his sketch. “The hell?!?” he thought. he had too many questions for even himself but instead of being confused he slid his sleeve back I twisted the head of the watch again returning him to his room to figure out the meaning of this.

Swift climbed through the window to his room as he finished reminiscing about the past as he haven't figured out the solution to the mystery behind the watch and his suit to this day and that he got over it a month ago not even bringing up the question to himself today. “ one day I'll figure out how my watch puts on and takes off my suit, but that is for another day.” he thought as he changed back into his regular clothing followed by getting in his bed wear. “ now I gotta head to bed school starts back up tomorrow I have a feeling we're gonna have a lot of work to do.” as he drifted off to sleep, he sneezed and hoped that he didn't become sick.
