"Ah, can't you just smell that perfect morning air?" Twilight smiled as she looked out onto the streets of Ponyville. After spending all day yesterday doing nothing but signing documents and listening to problems she felt she deserved a break.

"Smells the same as every other day Twi." Spike looked at her oddly before shrugging and walking off to get started on his chores. Twilight would not have her mood dampened though as she kept a pleasant smile plastered on her face, heading out of her tree-castle so that she could just see wat the day had on offer.

After a solid two minutes of smiling and waving to any pony that decided to greet her she could not help but feel that the day would only ever get better. And what better way to express this than through song?

"The weather today is just perfect! The sun hanging high in the skyyyyy, and no matter what may happen, I know that everything should be perfectly fi-" Twilight was interrupted as an anvil landed on her head and crushed it against the dirt road, killing her instantly.

Two years after the death of Princess Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie had finally been woken out of her depression, through no small effort from her friends and even family. She smiled out into the day as as she bounced through town.

"Oh please no! Not me too!"

She had parties to plan after all and everyone was right, Twilight would never want her to become a sad-sandy just because she was... gone... Pinkie shook her head and resumed her bouncing, waving to the occasional passerby as the party store came into sight.

She really couldn't help but sing.

"Nonononon- Ponyville is happy as usual, the residents going strong! Not a frowny face to be seen anywhere at all, absolutely nothing could go wro-" She was interrupted as a train had slammed into her, a rather odd occurence considering there were no tracks.

She died along with all the ponies in the residential home the train had plowed into.

One year after the death of Pinkie, Applejack was taking her mind off things by doing what she does best! Bucking apple trees, with a hint of sulking and self accusation. Luckily, Big Macand Applebloom were there to cheer her up!

"Come on Sis! You know it wasn't your fault for the terrible teleporting train travesty, an' Pinkie would hate to see you like this!"

Big Mac gave a hearty "Eeyup" and a concerned look as Applejack wiped at her eyelids.

"You know what? You two are right, I think ah'll think on the positives from now on." After the three siblings shared a warm hug they went their separate ways, Big Mac to finish off his side of the farm while Applebloom went to get a start on her chores.

Applejack was feeling a lot more positive than she had been in recent months, and her siblings were right, there was no use moping around when there was work to be done. She'd finally smiled for the first time in what felt like years as she wound back her hind legs.

"Ah reckon ah'll be more open from now, maybe me and the girls can go on a picnic tomorrow, we haven't had one of those in years." Yes, Applejack was mostly back to her old self, so happy she didn't notice the rustling in the leaves above her.

"Yep, everything will be just per-" Her buck was interrupted as her hooves connected with a blue coated pony instead of the rough texture of Bloomsberg. Her eyes widened as shehear the crunch of bone and the tearingof flesh behind her.

She cautiously turned her head to the tree, hoping against hope that what she thought was wrong. That she was right and nothing would go wrong and everything would be just per- Then the base of the tree crack and split before falling on top of her.

Applejack died, crushed beneath the battered corpse of Rainbow Dash.

A week later Fluttershy found herself at the spa with Rarity, crying into the mares pristine coat while her mane was pet comfortingly, both of them seated in a large bath which was more like an indoor pool. After countless mutters of "Why" and "How" she calmed down, Rarity cooing into her ear while the butter pegasus sighed.

After a few minutes of this Fluttershy sat back up, wiping away a tear. "Th-thankyou Rarity, I don't know how I would get through this without you."

"It's fine dear." Rarity moved closer to Fluttershy, not quite comfortable to shed her own tears. "I guess now it's just you and I left." Rarity sighed while Fluttershy put a hoof on her shoulder, giving her a weak smile.

"Don't worry Rarity, I'm sure we'll be okay, as long as we stick together everth-" She was interrupted as a talon held her mouth shut and a rather annoying Draconequues looked around with a scared expression.

"Don't you dare say it Flutter, and don't you make her say it you sick b-" He was cut off as Rarity clocked him across the jaw, climbing out of the bath and walking over to him, giving him her best glare.

"Just what is the meaning of this! Fluttershy took the time to come out and be with me so that we both could come to terms with what has happened. What gives you the right to come barging in so rudely?!"

Discord shrinked a bit before glaring past Rarity and towards the ceiling for some reason even though the target of his anger was over to the l- right where he was staring. He couldn't help but feel like someone was smiling at him as Rarity demanded his attention.

"Honestly Discord, I know you are worried but I'm sure that if you left poor Fluttershy alone for one day she would be just fine." She puntuated this with a stamp of her hoof as Discords eyes turned to pinpricks that quickly sewed themselves over as he leapt past Rarity and towards Fluttershy who was still seated in the large bath.

He was a few seconds short however, Fluttershy just out of reach even though he could've sworn she was within arm-length as a toaster, mysteriously placed next to the bath and plugged in, fell into the bath and roasted poor Fluttershy.

He barely noticed as Rarity fell past him and smashed her head on the edge of the bath, shattering her skull, the pieces of which quickly sliced through her brain. Discord was left to stare in slack-jawed horroras Rarity's body fell into the electrified water.

His attention quickly turned towards the smile he'd felt, now wider than ever. He glared as he could've sworn he heard laughter before the feeling suddenly disappeared.

The Elements were all dead and Equestria was ripe for the picking. Any plan would go through perfectly fi-
