A small alicorn is found in the midst of the Everfree forest. What adventures await him?
Twilight Sparkle is sent a letter by Princess Celestia to check out an area of the Everfree forest where a magical explosion occured. what twilight and her friends didnt expect to find was a small injured alicorn. The small colt awakens to find hes not in the forest and hes turned into a pony? now why would he think that? and why cant he remember who he is?
this is my first ever attempt at fiction of any kind (never did anything at school) so please let me know what you think

“bluegh! Hey Twilight you have a letter from the princess!” spike shouted to twilight after being disturbed whilst re-shelving books after twilight had an all night reading binge. Twilight began to read it and half way through spike started to notice a frown gradually appearing on her face. “Twilight, what’s wrong?” Spike said trying not to look worried.
“Spike, we need to get everyone together and head to the Everfree Forest immediately. Princess Celestia said that there was a massive explosion of magic near the old castle ruins and she wants us to check it out” Said twilight whilst trying to keep a brave face.

20 minutes later Twilight and Spike arrived at the castle ruins along with Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash right behind them. “a’h don’t think we should be running roun’ here guys, something don’t sit quite right wit’ me” exclaimed Applejack to the rest of the group. “Don’t worry AJ if anything happens then Twi here can teleport us away to safety so there’s nothing to worry about” said a confident Rainbow Dash flying just above the group.
“Rainbow, you know as well as the rest of us that whilst Twilight may be a very talented unicorn she is still unable to perform such a powerful spell. No offence Twilight darling” said Rarity whilst trying not to panic at the amount of dirt and Celestia knows what else that lay on the floor around her. “Don’t worry rarity. I know you didn’t mean to offend me but I do have a bit of a confession to make…I can teleport us all back to safety if anything were to happen. I’ve been practicing a lot and can safely say I can teleport 9 at once in case of emergency” said twilight blushing immensely as she didn’t like to show off her extraordinary magical ability.
Everyone excluding Twilight and spike stood there with their mouths agape at the sudden revelation from they just heard. “well darling I-I had no idea you were that strong” said rarity being the first of the group to speak. “yeh Twi I had no idea that you were so stro….” Rainbow exclaimed before stopping at the sight of what appeared to be a massive black circle in the middle of a clearing before exclaiming “hey what the hay is that!”. Everyone turned to see the new discovery and all but twilight looked at it wondering what could have caused it whilst twilight stood there with her mouth agape this time instead of the rest of the group.
“it-it…this is impossible” exclaimed twilight looking on in disbelief of what was in front of her. “whatever do you mean darling” asked Rarity who was about to continue before being cut off by the rest of the group asking the same kind of questions as to why what was not possible until twilight finally calmed them down enough so she could speak. “the reason why I said this wasn’t possible is because this is the exit location of a very VERY powerful teleportation spell. The scorch marks on the floor and the remains of magic in the air which shouldn’t be possible as the amount of magic that was left after the spell would disappear quickly, but with the amount of magic I can feel still here is the same amount of magic I would use to teleport all of us back to the library. Now with that amount of magic usage the amount remaining would disappear in 5 minutes yet it took us 20 minutes or so to get here since the explosion happened so by all means this shouldn’t be possible” said twilight whilst trying to dumb it down so the other could understand.
All of them except pinkie pie and rainbow dash had just looked at twilight with their mouths agape yet again trying to think of something to say while pinkie looked like she didn’t understand and rainbow looked incredibly bored. Twilight was about to speak again until she noticed small hoof prints that looked like they belonged to a small filly leaving the centre of the black circle and noticed a trail of blood going in the same direction. As she was about to tell everyone a horrible sound was heard. It was the deafening roar of a manticore and twilight knew it came from the direction that the hoof prints were heading. She immediately started galloping to the direction the roar came from.
Whilst on the way she explained to the others what she saw and that she thought the manticore’s roar must have been from finding its next meal. All of them gasped and applejack and rainbow dash both got a stern look on their faces as the both raced off leaving the others behind to potentially save an injured filly from the jaws of death. As twilight and the rest neared the location of the roar they heard another roar and the sounds of rainbow dash and applejack fighting off the manticore. Just as they arrived they noticed the manticore running off into the bushes which was a huge shock, but not as much as the one they were about to receive. “Guys I can’t believe you beat a manticore just like that and made it run away, how did you do i….” twilight was cut short when she noticed both of them standing next to each other staring down at something. They all walked over to them and then the shock hit them. Lying on the floor was an injured, badly bleeding little colt that looked barely 5 years old.
The poor colt had a very dark purple coat with a black mane and tail with a few highlights of blue in his mane and tail that looked like it almost blended perfectly with his dark mane. ‘He looks like the midnight sky’ thought twilight then looking at his injuries. His wings looked tattered and most probably fractured and his head has a massive injury which was bleeding quite badly as she could see the blood run down his face and horn……”wait, horn! He has wings and a horn!” exclaimed twilight in pure shock. “That don’t matter right now twilight we need to get him some help as soon as possible” said Fluttershy in a panicked voice. Twilight immediately knew what to do and had only enough time to tell her friends “hold your stomachs everyone as this may make you sick” she shouted as she started charging her magic. “What do ya mean twi….”applejack was cut off as all of them were teleported from that dreadful forest and outside of the Ponyville hospital.

The sound of thunder outside and the sounds of some ponies throwing up were heard from inside the hospital by a few nurses. Curious they all ran outside to see 7 ponies and a dragon with scorch marks on some of them and a small black circle around them. They looked like they had been burnt slightly but were all fine, all except the little colt that was on the floor unconscious and bleeding badly and battered like he had been mauled by something big. One of the nurses immediately ran back inside the hospital to fetch a gurney to pick up the little foal and get him immediate surgery that was surely needed.
“gosh darn it twi, warn us the next time ya gunna do something like tha’!” exclaimed a weary applejack as she picked herself off the ground and immediately turned to check on the little foal. Just as she was about to open her mouth to speak the nurse who had ran inside started rushing out with a few other nurses and a doctor. They carefully picked up the small and now shaking foal and rushed him straight into surgery where they remained for 3 hours.
As they waited twilight and the rest of the group had time to recover from the teleport and tell nurse redheart exactly what happened from the moment twilight received the letter to the instant she teleported them all. Spike had even sent a letter to princess Celestia on request of twilight about what happened. No more than 5 minutes passed until the small dragon burped and immediately a letter appeared addressed from the princess informing them that she would be there to see them all and help with healing the alicorn that they had found in the Everfree Forest.
10 minutes later Princess Celestia and Princess Luna arrived to see them all. The moment they walked in twilight rushed over to her mentor and gave her a smile. “Twilight my dearest pupil, I am very proud of you. You managed to teleport from all the way in the Everfree Forest to the Ponyville hospital and not only that, you teleported all your friends with you as well” Celestia said with a smile on her face. “Thank you princess, I don’t think I could have done it except from a few weeks ago my magic started to get a lot stronger so I had been practicing more difficult spells and tried modifying other spells. But I can’t accept your praise as I messed up the teleport spell” exclaimed twilight looking a little down trodden.
“Whatever do you mean darling, you teleported us out of that wretched place and managed to get that little foal to the hospital to save his life and we were only a little sick because of it. My pride as a lady may have been hurt slightly because of that but you managed to help save somepony’s life” said rarity whilst trying to cheer up her dear friend. “That’s just it rarity, you shouldn’t have been sick, I don’t know how but I managed to put in a little too much power into that spell which is what made us all ill and singe our manes slightly” said twilight again dumbing it down so that everyone could understand.
“That does not matter now Twilight Sparkle, please show us to where the youngling is so we can help with his recovery” asked Princess Celestia with a smile still plastered on her face. Twilight showed both the princesses to the entrance of the surgery room and waited outside for them to return. A little more than 2 hours of constant worrying and pacing back and forth later the princesses along with all the doctors and nurses left the surgery room looking happy knowing that they had saved a young foals life. The head doctor had walked up to twilight and had told her that the colt could be taken home but he needed a lot of rest. So twilight decided to house the colt until they could find out who he was, who his family is, and how they can contact his family.
The mane 6 along with Spike princess Celestia and Luna all head towards the library with twilight floating the little colt just to her left and looking constantly at the foal like a mother would normally.
Twilight, Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Spike, Princess Celestia and Luna all arrived at Twilights library with a small colt that they had found near the castle ruins in the Everfree forest. Twilight had floated the little colt over to the sofa and very gently set him down on it to get some rest.
“Do you think he’s going to wake up anytime soon Twilight? I want to throw him a party as soon as possib…” Pinkie was cut short by a zipper appearing where her mouth was and was promptly zipping shut.
“Pinkie, you need to be quiet. The poor boy has been through a lot and needs his rest so please keep your voice down. You can plan a party for him another time but right now he needs to sleep, ok?” Twilight said sternly while trying to keep her own voice a little lower than normal. Twilight removed the spell from Pinkies mouth after she nodded in understanding.
After everyone had settled down and gotten comfortable Twilight started to wonder what had caused such an enormous amount of magic to suddenly explode and why there was a young injured alicorn out in the middle of the Everfree Forest.
"Princess Celestia, what happened? Why was there that much magic left in the Everfree Forest after the explosion happened and why did the explosion happen to begin with? And who is the little c-" was all Twilight managed to get out before Celestia raised a hoof to silence her.
"Slow down Twilight Sparkle or you will awaken our little guest. Now i will answer all of your questions after you do one thing."
"And what is that princess?" asked Twilight trying her hardest to not look confused. Celestia raised a hoof and pointed it in the direction of the young alicorn who was asleep on the sofa. Twilight turned around to notice the colt shaking in his sleep and suddenly it hit her that it was rather cold, so without even having to ask she got up onto the sofa and used her body as a fire to keep the alicorn warm.
Celestia smiled at her pupil but then her expression turned into one of confusion until she straightened herself out enough to say "Why do you not use a blanket? Surely that would have been the best option wouldn’t you agree?"
Trying not to look embarrassed she explained to Celestia how earlier in the day Pinkie had managed to prank Spike while he was doing the laundry and he accidentally burnt all but 2 blankets to nothing but ashes and that the only 2 remaining blankets were still being washed. Everyone but Twilight and Spike laughed and even Celestia and Luna gave a small chuckle as well.
After the laughter had died down Twilight decided to ask again, "So princess, what was that magical explosion?"
Celestia decided that Twilight should know so she nodded to Luna who the proceeded to return the nod. Celestia put on a stern face and asked "Do you remember Starswirl the bearded Twilight?” Twilight nodded. “Well back when he was alive he had a theory that our universe might not be the only one in existence so he created a device that will allow him to peek into another universe"
Everypony (and dragon) except the princesses held their mouths agape at what they had just heard. After about a minute of silence they had regained their composures, Twilight tried to ask something but was cut off by Celestia before she could speak.
"Now he did manage to create such a device but the magical requirements needed to open a small window were enormous. Luna and I had volunteered to use our magic to help power the device but Starswirl wouldn’t let us as the device wasn’t capable of using alicorn magic as it is slightly different to unicorn magic so he made it to steal some of his magic each day and stop when he went to sleep. It was designed to take magic from its target but not so much that it would have an effect on their everyday usage. Since Starswirl was very gifted and powerful sorcerer the device was able to take a lot of power. Sadly it didn’t gather enough magic to open a window before he passed on."
Again everypony except the princesses looked like they were imitating a venus fly trap. "If the device didn’t have enough magic then why did it go off today?" asked Twilight after she had recovered from the shock.
"Well Twilight, when Starswirl passed away the machine didn’t just stop working; it found a new target to take magic from. Over the years it has taken energy from the most powerful unicorn at the time until they passed on and it found a new target. And several years ago it found you."
"M-m-me! Why would it find me? I may be gifted but I’m not that strong. So why would it choose me?" asked Twilight with a serious look of confusion on her face along with all her friends.
"Because my student, you are the most powerful unicorn in all of Equestria. The reason you didn’t think so was because the machine was stealing magic from you. I know this because of the time I first met you. Do you remember when you tried using your magic and Rainbow Dash's sonic rainboom scared you which caused your magic to run wild?" Twilight nodded while still looking at her mentor with disbelief.
"Well the reason why it ran wild was partly because you couldn’t control it, the other reason was the machine was disrupted when the sonic rainboom interrupted it, so it stopped stealing your magic for a minute. This is why your magic went wild; your magic was so accustomed to being drained from you that it started to draw itself to the machine, so when the machine stopped but your magic didn’t, the result was you creating a maelstrom of magic around yourself."

"So tha' means that our Twi over here is the most powerful unicorn in all of Equestria?" asked Applejack in disbelief.
"Yes Applejack, thou art correct. We have not seen one such as Twilight Sparkle in many years." calmly confirmed the beautiful goddess of the night.
"Wha-bu-jus-huh?" Twilight stuttered trying to piece together a sentence and failing miserably. Just as she was about to speak again and attempt to form a sentence she was cut off by Celestia who had decided to try and calm the situation down.
"Now listen to me my student, you may be the most powerful unicorn currently and probably the strongest since Starswirl himself but do not let it go to your head. You are still young and inexperienced and a mere filly compared to other unicorns. You need to learn to control your magic and use it wisely. Now that Starswirl’s device seems to have been destroyed you shou-" before the golden goddess cold speak another word she was bombarded by questions from everypony including Spike...(well all except Luna) she managed to quiet everypony down to allow each of them to speak one at a time. She decided that Rarity would be best to ask first.
"So Rarity what did you wish to ask?"
"Well princess I wanted to know what you meant by saying that Starswirl’s device has been destroyed."
"If you want to know then I shall tell you. Starswirl’s device was left in the clearing you girls found, and judging by what you told me was there when you found it, it appears as though his device must have been destroyed in the explosion. Now that that question is out of the way, Twilight, what did you want to know?"
"I wanted to know what you meant by his device being destroyed but now that that has been answered I wish to know what you were going to say after you said it was destroyed."
"Well my student, I was going to say that since the device is destroyed and no longer able to steal magic from you then very soon, most probably in the next few hours, your magic should regenerate itself to its maximum capacity. This means you will be getting a very large rush of magic swelling up within you soon. And to answer another question I know you were going to ask is yes, I believe I know the reason why your magic has been getting stronger these past weeks. It is most likely because the device had started to reach its maximum capacity at holding magic so it started to drain less and less from you until earlier it reached it and promptly exploded being unable to contain so much magic."
"But princess, if it had so much magic and exploded then why wasn’t most of the forest gone? Why was there only a large teleportation scorch mark on the floor?" asked Twilight becoming more inquisitive and confused by the second.
"Well I think you know the reason why." said Celestia gesturing to a small black alicorn curled up next to Twilight. "I believe the machine somehow activated itself when it reached maximum capacity and when it activated and didn’t use all the necessary power, it put it all inside him. And I must say he has a lot of magic in him, if I had to guess he probably has as much magic right now as Discord. I just hope that he doesn’t abuse his mag-"said Celestia until being cut off again by everypony excluding Luna.
"WHAT!!!" exclaimed everyone all at once. Just as they were about to speak again Twilight shouted with enough force to rival the royal Canterlot voice.
"DO YOU MEAN THAT THIS COLT IS FROM ANOTHER UNIVERSE?"
Just as Celestia was about to speak she was cut short but an unknown voice speaking rather silently. "mmmm, please be quiet and let me sleep, I’m tired."
"mmmm, please be quiet and let me sleep, I’m tired."
Everyone turned their heads to the colt snuggled up next to Twilight with shock written all over their faces, even the alicorn sisters. after a few seconds the shock wore off and everyone was starting to calm down enough to try and talk to him until celestia cut them all off again.
"Evidently he speaks Equestrian and it appears as though our voices are too loud" her voice was barely above a whisper now but loud enough for any listening to hear." And it is rather late so i think everypony should head home and try get some sleep. Twilight?"
Twilight turned her head back to her mentor to see what she wanted, but before she could ask what Celestia wanted, she cut her off again.
"Do you think my sister and i would be able to spend the night here with you and Spike? We wish to remain here in case he wakes up before everypony else and would like to be the first ones to speak with him."
"Sure princess, but there is a slight problem with that" stated Twilght whilst getting a strange look from her mentor but before celestia could ask what the problem was, Twilight continued. "Remember what i said earlier, we only have 2 blankets, and with the little colt taking the couch currently we only have my bed and the guest bed which neither of them are large enough for either of you....sorry"
"Do not worry Twilight, we shall sort the arrangements out in a moment, but before we do i think its time some ponies head home, wouldnt you agree?"
"I couldnt agree more princess" exclaimed Twilight looking at the clock and realising how late it was. after she stopped looking at the clock she looked towards her friends and saw how tired they all looked. She couldnt blame them, it had been an exhausting day. As she was about to say goodnight to her friends, Celestia started speaking once more.
"Now before you all leave, i have a favour to ask of you all. firstly, Rarity, would you mind if my sister accompanied you to your boutique to collect a blanket for herself, the foal and myself please?"
"Of course princess, i usually keep a few spare for when i have the crusaders over, although they wont be what your used to in the palace...But im sure i could make a few really qui-"
"They will do just fine Rarity, thank you for the offer though. Secondly, Applejack and Pinkie Pie, could you perhaps bring over some food tomorrow morning for all of us as i have a fealing we are going to be here talking for a while once he wakes up"
"Okie dokie lokie", "Sure thin' princess, ill bring over some of the apple family's best apples" said Pinkie and Applejack as they were leaving the library.
"Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash, do you think you two could come over in the morning with the others as i would like everyone of you here to talk to him once he wakes up"
"Sure thing princess" said Rainbow Dash rather excitedly; you could taste her excitement in the air.
"Ok princess, ill have to let Angel know that im going to be...oh dear, Angel is going to be upset with me for being out so late. Im sorry girls but ive got to get back. I'll see you all in the morning after i've taken care of the animals". The moment fluttershy said that she zoomed off to her cottage. The speed in which she left would have made Rainbow Dash proud if she hadnt already left the moment she assured the princess that she would be there the next morning.
"I will see you in a few minutes Luna, and Rarity, thank you for the use of your blankets. I will expect you here tomorow morning with everypony else ok?" Said Celestia turning to the dark alicorn and white unicorn that were slowly walking towards the door.
As Luna and Rarity continued out the door after politely nodding back to Celestia, Twilight saw her mentors face turn from a stoic smile to more of a scowl than anything. Celestia turned around while her magic was shutting the door and after locking it to see only Twilight, Spike and the foal left in the library. Twilights face grew worried as to why her mentor was scowling and begin to think she had done something wrong. Her thoughts on the matter were immediately stopped when Celestia spoke to seemingly no one in the room.
"It is rude to eavesdrop on others conversations and pretend to be asleep!" The moment those words left the mouth of her mentor Twilight felt a stiring next to her and understood that Celestia was talking to the foal. She moved when she noticed him trying to get up.
"Well what would you do if you found yourself in a strange place and didnt know what the hell was going on?" Exclaimed the unamused foal that had stood up and turned to face Celestia. Before anyone could answer his question he began speaking again.
"Also on a side note, when your doctors say "Hes unconcious, the only thing he will need is a local anesthetic as he wont wake up anytime by the looks of it" get them to fucking check that the person is actually uncon-" THWACK "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR" he exclaimed after seeing Celestia smack him on his head.
"Young foals such as yourself should not be using atrocious language such as that even if it hasnt been used for nearly a milenia" shouted Celestia back at the foal standing on the couch. Both the princess and the foal bore scowls at one another until Celestia remembered what he had said and realised something....He was awake through the entire operation and even though he had a local anesthetic he probably had still felt a lot of pain from the whole thing. Her face changed from a scowl to a frown and then finally apologetic.
"I am truly sorry that you were awake the entire time, and that i also didnt realise. I know the pain you must have felt was agonising but the only thing i can offer you is my sincere apology. I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me" said Celestia with a look of regret plastered all over her face.
"Meh, dont worry about it, you didnt know but i must ask you something private really quickly but i dont want the other two here knowing so could you let me whisper it to you please?" said the foal giving Celestia a pleading look. Twilight looked confused and didnt know what to make of the foals request, Spike just sat there still trying to take in the news of a pony from another dimension and Celestia simply nodded and brought her head close to the foal so he could ask her whatever it was he wanted to.
THWACK "Thats for hitting me. now i forgive you" stated the foal with a look of accomplishment on his face. If it wasnt for the floor then Spike and Twilights jaws would have probably kept dropping forever at what they saw and Celestia looked slightly stunned and a small bit irked at what the foal just did.
Twilight was about to reprimand the foal and give him a stirn talking to for what he did and Celestia was about to punish the little foal for it while Spike just stared at him until something got everyponies attention. They heard giggling coming from the door and everyone looked to see Luna rolling on the floor in a fit of giggles at what the foal had done to Celestia. Celestia scowled at her sister and shouted at her to stop laughing, Twilight had calmed down but still wanted to give the foal a stirn talking to while Spike and the foal both broke out into laughter.
After everyone had calmed down all the while still lightly giggling every so often Luna decided to speak. "I am so sorry Tia but that was hilarious, I havent seen you act like that or anypony behave like that toward you since we ourselves were but foals".
"I have a question for all of you. Celestia said that a young foal such as myself should'nt be using such language but i must know if your meaning of the word foal is similar to the meaning i know. I know it as a young pony or horse so im going to assume it is the same here?" Asked the dark foal with a huge grin still plastered on his face. After everyone in the room nodded he continued.
"Well then first things first, how old do you think i am?" asked the foal. Twilight wanted to answer but she remembered that he was an alicorn and she knew from princess Celestia that alicorn foals grow quicker than normal ponies as they grow to be quite large so she decided not to answer. Celestia was the first to speak.
"Well judging by your size i would say that you were abo-" celestia was cut off by the foal who looked unamused for some reason.
"You know what, how about i just tell you my age. I dont want to know how old i am in this weird arse world. I'll tell you before you hit me again" stated the foal whilest glaring daggers at Celestia. "I am 19 nearly 20" after the foal had finished his sentance 4 jaws decided to have a race to see which one could reach the floor first. Needless to say it was a 4 way tie.
"n-n-n-nineteen! But that cant be right. thats-thats-thats impossible, if you were that old then you should be near full maturity. it just doesnt make any sense" shouted Luna a minute after everyone had a jaw drop race.
"Well perhaps Luna that in his world, their time flows faster or they have less time in a day and fewer days in the year, that could explain why he thinks he is ninete..." said Celestia before she stopped when she saw the foal looking at the clock on the wall.
tick, tock, tick, tock, tick, tock... 10 seconds of staring at the clock the foal turned to Celestia and said "From looking at the clock your seconds are the same as mine, you have 60 seconds to a minute, 60 minutes to an hour and im just going to ask 24 hours in a day?" Celestia and Luna nodded.
"7 days in a week?" The alicorn princess nodded again. "52 weeks in a year?" They nodded once more. "Well then, by all accounts i am 19 nearly 20 on both worlds then. So now this brings me to my next question which will followed by a question about this bodies age and a whole lot of other things, but well cross that bridge when we get to it. Huh hmm" clearing his throat the alicorn prpared for his question

sorry it took so long to do guys but ive been busy with work, college and my annoying bi-polarism (i think its bi-polarism, im not sure) thats been making me change moods quicker than a pregnant woman and giving me major depression. i couldnt be bothered to get a proof reader or search for one so its all done myself and considering my education sucks (most schools in england suck(that and the fact i was removed from school alot)) it is probably very bad. i cant remember about the anesthetic thing is accurate or not so could someone please enlighten me about it.
another things is my ability at using wordplay and using complex words which are massively long sucks so dont expect me to be very descriptive when...well, describing things. unles i get someone to edit chapters when ive done them so they look and sound better. if anyone is up to the task let me know. thanks again guys and any feedback good or bad is appreciated as this is my first ever attampt in my near 20 years of existence at trying to write fiction.

Everypony and dragon in the room just stared at the foals outburst not knowing what to say or do. Everyone just sat there staring at him for what seemed like hours contemplating what he said while in reality it was only 2 minutes.
'What did he mean by that? was he not a pony before he came here....no no no no, thats impossible, it was a teleportaton that brought him here so he would be the same species as when he was born. but what did he mean mutant pony horse thing, does that mean there are horses and ponies in his world? And what did he mean by the mutant part, do they not have pegasi unicorns or alicorns in his world and do they look different to us?' Thought Twilight trying to analyze what he had said.
Celestia's thoughts:
.............What did he mean by that? Does that mean he wasn't a pony when he was born? That can't be right. The device was only meant to see into another universe not bring somepony here, and even then it shouldn't have changed them. Somethings not right here. Something must have tampered with the device. I'll have to scan him to check for the residual magical energy left to see who had changed starswirls device.
Luna's thoughts:
Oh how joyous. A creature from another universe. Not just a pony from another universe but some different creature entirely. Oh how wonderful. I wonder what kinds of technology they have...What if they are more advanced than us? I know I'm going to enjoy his company if they are more advanced, especially with his sense of humor. I can only imagine the things we can learn from him. I know we are going to have fun playing pranks on Tia. Ooooh this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship i think.
Spikes thoughts:

After 2 minutes of silence the foal looked very unamused. He spoke to them interrupting their thoughts to try and gain an answer for his question.
"Well? You've been thinking long enough. Why the hell am i a frigging mutant pony horse thing? Seriously, tell me now. What the hell am I and why am I no longer human?"
The moment the word "human" left his mouth the atmosphere in the room suddenly changed dramatically. Twilight immediately bowed much lower than she did to both the princesses and was shaking more than pinkie pie's tail does when an object is about to fall. Both princess bowed their heads but not as much as Twilight did. Luna had a look of awe and joy on her face while Celestia had a look of regret plastered all over her.
Spike on the other hand, he only just got his brain rebooted before hearing the foal say he was previously human and immediately his brain shutdown again but this time instead of continuing to stand, he promptly decided to face floor. More commonly referred as fainting.
"Oooookaaaay.....What the fuck's going on.?" Asked the now confused foal. for another minute there was total silence and the foal started to get annoyed again at the silence.
"Seriously, what the fuck is going on. Stop bowing, ducking or whatever it is your doing" he said to Celestia and Luna. "Get your purple arse off the floor and stop shaking like that or your brains probably gonna shake itself out of your head" He said to Twilight. "And for the love of god please wake up the purple lizard thing. That looked like it probably hurt when it decided to get intimate with the floor" He said to the group as a whole this time.
At that last comment everyone stopped bowing. Luna broke out into laughter and Celestia stifled a giggle while Twilight had stopped shaking and had a small smile on her face while she levitated Spike off of the floor and onto the couch. The foal couldn't help but join in Celestia's giggles and soon after Twilight joined in as well.
"So...How long do you think its gonna stay like that?" The foal asked Twilight. Not liking the fact that the self proclaimed human had referred to Spike as an "It" she put on a small bit of a scowl.
"IT is a He. And He is a dragon. And he will probably be out cold for a good half hour" Stated an unamused Twilight while giving a small scowl to the foal...That was until she remembered she was talking to a human and immediately went to apologise until he cut her off.
"Dragons exist in this universe!" he shouted. The excitement in his voice was so thick you could probably cut it with a knife. When he received a nod of approval from Twilight his already large smile grew twice as large. Thinking to herself, Twilight thought that if he smiled just a bit more he would probably be able to imitate a Pinkie Pie smile.
"That....is...so....FUCKING AWSOME! I can't fucking believe it, dragons actually exist in this universe.....Awsome!" shouted the foal, the whole time he was saying that he had been bouncing up and down so fast he might aswell have been Pinkie Pie's dopelganger from another universe........ Well, he was bouncing up and down until he recieved another smack around his head from Celestia. He barely felt this hit and when he went to complain to her for hitting him and asking why she did it he saw that both Twilight's and Luna's faces were of shock and fear and Celestias just looked afraid.
"Could you please refrain from using language such as that around others as it is rather vulgar. and i also accept any punishment for striking you Sir Human" Celestia said with her head hung low infont of the foal to recieve whatever punishment he decided to enact upon her for hitting him.
She knew of humans and how violent and powerful they are. She had seen them before from the mind of another pony who had some how managed to enter their world. She knew that humans were violent, but also benevolent. They might kill others like it was nothing but she had hoped this ex-human had compassion like she'd seen from some of the other humans from the mind of that insane pony all those years ago.
Atleast, Celestia thought she knew of humans. She waited for what seemed like hours but was really only seconds for the foal to strike her down or take vengeance for ever rasing her hoof to him but it never came. She bagan to wonder why nothing came and so did Luna and Twilight.
Twilight and Luna opened their eyes not realising they involuntarily colsed them to save themselves from seeing the horror that would be Celestia's punishment fall before their eyes. The punishment that never came. They looked at the foal and Celestia looked up to him to see his face not contort with anger and unrelenting rage but of complete and utter.....confusion?
"oooookaaaay? Whats with the sudden politeness and calling me "sir human"? Im getting seriously confused here. And considering i woke up to find myself in the land of talking extremely colourful ponies like I was thrown into a cartoon of some sorts and not freaking out and extremely confused is a given. But now im getting even more confused which i didnt think was humanly possible. So, please explain what the hells going on and also how the hell do you know what a human is and why do you look so afraid of me?"
Celestia, Luna and Twilight just sat there taking in the questions and the statement the foal just said and trying to form some kind of reply. Twilight had some idea of what a "cartoon" was thanks to the diary of Curve Horn the Demented who had supposedly traveled to another world filled with creatures called humans. She thought she knew everything she needed to know about humans and how they were brutal yet kind, until she met one herself. At most he only seemed slightly rude but given his situation she could overlook it.
"......Well, im waiting for answers" Said the unamused ex-human after 2 minutes of silence from the others. Celestia, Luna and Twilight stopped their thoughts immediately and turned to look at the foal who was clearly annoyed and probably getting to the point of wanting to destroy them or kill them (atleast they thought thats what he wanted to do).
The first to speak was Celestia trying to calm the foal down. "What would you like to know? We will try our best to answer your questions but please try and ask them one at a time. Is that ok with you?" she asked him.
"I suppose, but you better answer them all. Even if you dont know the answer then give me your best educated guess, im not going to take any bullshit from you, understood?" asked the foal who was starting to calm down. When he said that Celestia's face turned into a slight smile knwoing that the foal was atleast going to be civil about this whole situation. Luna was smiling as she could tell she was definitely going to like this foal, nopony had dared to ever speak to either her sister or herself ever.....except maybe discord but he wasn't crude like the foal.
Twilight though.....Twilight had a scowl. 'How dare he talk to the Princesses like that. Im going to have to teach him some proper manners later.' were Twilights thoughts.
Deciding to take the initiative Celestia spoke to the foal. "What would you like to know first? And please do cut down on the fowl language, the dragon passed out next to you is only a child so please try and contain the profanities".
Thinking of what to ask first the ex-human now pony sat there for a minute before finally deciding what to ask. He would have a lot of questions but for now the most important question was obviously..."What the hell am I?"
AN: sorry this took so long to do but my depression and writers block has been really bad these past few months and its been giving me trouble trying to sleep. it has kinda passed for now and i will try and get the next chapter out within a week or so...hopefully. the next chapter will be question time for the foal and we will learn a shocking discovery about why starswirls device took a him from his world an why it turned him into a pony.
on a side note, if everyone wants to know about how celestia, luna and twilight know about humans and such and why they are scared of him you will find out in the next chapter, just know that them knowing (kind of knowing) about humans will be an important part of the story later on and is not put in there just to make the story slightly longer to make it look like there are more words to the story. see you guys hopefully in another week....oh and before i forget, everything was done by me so spelling, grammar, and capitalisation will definitely suck

“You are a pony, more specifically an Alicorn.” The foal was just about to ask a question until Celestia continued her explanation.
“An Alicorn is a pony that has part of all three of the pony races combined together. We have the strength and endurance of an earth pony, the weather manipulation and flight ability of the Pegasi and the magic of Unicorns. Being a mixture of all the best traits of the 3 pony species we are incredibly powerful and are larger than all other ponies to accommodate our powers. Do you understand so far?”
“Yep, I think I got it…I’m trapped in some bullshit Greek mythology. And before you ask no I’m not going to tell you about the mythology or the Greeks as my history sucks and I never really paid attention in school when I was actually there.”
Twilight looked a little shocked about the thought of not paying attention in school, but even more shocked at the fact that he didn’t always go to school. She wanted to question him about it but thought she best let the Princesses ask the questions for now. Thankfully for her Princess Luna brought up one of the questions she wanted to ask.
“What dost thou mean when thou said-“
“Lulu, you’re speaking in old equestrian again.” Said Celestia stopping Luna so that the foal would hopefully be able to understand. Luna was going to voice her embarrassment at her slip up and at being called Lulu in front of others but the foal started to giggle again and much to Luna’s amazement, defended her right to speak the way she likes.
“Don’t worry about it and let her speak how she likes. It just sounds like old English to me and it’s easy to understand what she’s saying if you actually listen. I mean seriously, dost thou, it’s just the same as saying do you or did you.”
Celestia wanted to tell the foal off for encouraging Luna’s use of old equestrian, but before she could Luna rushed over to the foal and hugged him. The foal suddenly looked extremely nervous, much to Celestia’s amusement.
Luna couldn’t be happier, she finally found somepony that not only didn’t care about her occasional slip up but actually stated that they didn’t mind. After last nightmare night Celestia had ordered everypony in the kingdom to tell Luna off every time she slipped into the old ways. The embarrassment she had to endure being told off by not only common ponies but also young foals as well was almost too much to bear. But this foal had actually accepted her ways and even encouraged her. Luna was right; this is the start of a very beautiful friendship.
“O—kay….. This is getting awkward. Do you mind letting go? I’m kinda suffocating here.” And with that being said Luna immediately let go with a blush starting to form on her face. Celestia and Twilight giggled at the display and the foal didn’t know what to think about it.
‘Okay well that was weird. Still though, how the fuck can a blush appear through fucking fur….you know what, fuck it, land full of magic. Magic is fucking bullshit and so is this fucking world…….I miss the internet already’ were the foals thoughts after he’d finally regained control of his brain.
“So “Lulu”" giggled the foal. “What were you going to ask before you were so rudely interrupted?” When he said rudely he shot a joking glare at Celestia with a grin plastered all over his face. Celestia scowled slightly at this but refused to rise to whatever challenge the foal was giving to her. Celestia could tell when somepony was trying to get the better of her temper and it wasn’t going to work this time. Although, the foal was good at it so Celestia decided she would need to try her hardest to keep calm when the foal was around.
Twilight was getting even more annoyed at the foal. He dare insult the Princesses like that and find it funny. Oh how he was in for such a talking to when they were alone together. The steam coming out of her ears was not unnoticed by the foal or Celestia. The former decided to ignore the impossibility of it all and just smirk at the fact he was making at least one of them mad and Celestia just worrying what Twilight would do to the foal when they were alone….oh well, he deserves what’s coming to him she thought.
Blushing even harder at being called Lulu by the foal, she decided to ask her question again. “We thank thee for thy kindness. Our question was what dost thou mean when thou said thou hardly paid attention when thou were actually at school?” AN: this was a bastard to do as I cant do ye olde English at all. After this chapter I may just slip in twilight giving luna proper English lessons but skip it and say she had them just to make it easier to type her dialog.
The foal took on a rather neutral look at what Luna had asked. Sighing, he decided there was no point in hiding anything.
“I had a pretty shit school life. Most of the teachers were arseholes and neither bothered helping me and just gave me hell because I misbehaved a lot more than others did because of my ADHD. Before you ask it stands for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. The high school I went to was supposed to have someone there to help me concentrate and keep me in line and my mum had been telling them years before I even went there that I had problems and needed more help than others.
They were supposed to let all the other teachers know that I had ADHD but they never did. Some of the teachers only knew because I told them myself and even then, some of them said I was lying to get out of trouble, some of them treated me like I was an idiot and one or two of them treated me even worse. There were only 3 teachers that actually helped me.
The rude teachers were probably the best part about that fucking school. Nearly every single person in the school tried beating me up every day. At one stage in school some of them tried to fucking kill me because of some bullshit rumour that was spread about me taking the piss out of someone who had just died. The school kicked me out at that time for “my own protection”. I can’t really remember much about my school life because I forced myself to forget about it. I only know of some of the shit that happened.
Also imagine this, someone tries to fight me for no reason other than they are bored and want to the deck the shit out of me. We were in the middle of class and he keeps trying to punch me so I just keep moving out the way letting him trip over himself. The teacher sees this and gets me kicked out for fighting and the guy gets a break time detention. The schools principle and vice principle would always take any excuse to kick me out.
Now I’m not going to say I had the worst school experience in the world, I know some people who had it worse than me due to various reasons and I know there are a lot of people in the world that have had it way worse than I did, but that doesn’t mean I don’t like it at all. That’s pretty much all I can remember of that shit hole….what?”
The foal looked to the others to see tears in their eyes at what he said. And the foal just looked bored. Celestia, Luna and Twilight all wanted to hug him and comfort him but didn’t know how to do so. They were going to say something to him but didn’t know what. He beat them to the punch though.
“Oh geeze cry me a fucking river. I don’t care about all that so don’t go all sentimental on me, I hate that crap.” The foal looked over to the window when he saw something and spoke again to the still crying ponies.
“Can you do me a quick favour please and open the door. I can’t exactly do it as I don’t have hands anymore apparently.”
The ponies crying slowed to a stop after a minute and Celestia decided to listen to the foal’s request. The moment she did he tried jumping off the coach and onto the floor but fell on his face. Everypony was about to go and help him up but he crawled to his hooves and started walking to the door whilst mumbling something about hooves, quadrupeds and his body being stupid.
He finally made it to the door after walking like a young foal that had only just learnt to walk. He put his head outside and Twilight only just realised how late it was as the moon was out. She didn’t even realise that Celestia had lowered the sun and Luna raised the moon. Her thoughts turned back to the foal whose head was still outside the door and wondered what he was doing until he spoke.
“Either you lot freeze your arses off outside and eavesdrop or get in here and listen. I don’t particularly care what you do but I don’t think Celestia, Luna and…Twilight was it?” he turned to Twilight for confirmation and received a confused nod from her. When she nodded he turned back to the door and continued.
“Like I was saying, I don’t think they would like it if you froze to death……I just fucking realised you guys are covered in fur so I doubt that would happen. Well fuck. Oh well, just get in here.”
And with that said he turned back into the library and walked towards the couch. The others were kind of confused as to why he was talking outside the door but then they realised it the moment Rarity, Fluttershy, Pinkie pie, Applejack and Rainbow Dash started walking in the door with embarrassed smiles on their faces, except for Pinkie Pie who strangely enough had a smile on her face.
“How did you know they were out there?” Celestia asked with bewilderment. How could the foal have known they were out there? The answer he gave made Twilight facehoof for not noticing.
“They’re kinda hard not to miss when they have their faces shoved up against the window….well except for Twilight here. So who are all you lot?”
Celestia giggled at Twilights realisation and all the others except Pinkie looked extremely embarrassed at their actions.
“Ah’m Applejack. I run sweet apple acres with mah brother Big Macintosh, mah gran’ma Granny Smith and mah little sister Applebloom.”
“My names Rainbow Dash, fastest flyer in all of Equestria and future Wonderbolt.”
“Um….I’m, Fluttershy. And……um…..i-i-I look after t-t-t-the animals around here.”
And so Pinkie Pie carried on for a few moments while the foal kept getting more confused and the other ponies apart from Celestia and Luna kept a constant facehoof. After Pinkie had finally calmed down…and by that I mean a zipper appearing where her mouth is which confused the foal for only a moment until he remembered this world has magic which he was incredibly thankful for.
Whilst Pinkie continued rambling, Rarity introduced herself to the foal. Twilight, Celestia and Luna had also formally introduced themselves. The foal didn’t know what to think when Luna and Celestia had said that they raise and lower the sun and moon. He was dumbfounded and decided there was no point in them lying to him, so he decided to just go with it until he could prove or disprove them. After they had finished introductions and Pinkie stopped trying to talk, the zip that was her mouth was removed and Celestia had asked the foal to introduce himself to them since he knew they were. His reply came as a bit of a shock.
“Dunno. I honestly do not have a clue who I am.” Stated the foal with no emotion. The others looked at him incredulously for a time. After the initial confusion twilight decided it was time to finally ask the foal a question.
“What do you mean you don’t know?”
“I woke up in that forest and couldn’t for the life of me remember my name. And whilst I’m on the subject of memory loss I also can’t remember any of my family or friends. I know I have some but I just can’t remember them. So I have another question for you, well, more like 3 words….What the fuck?”
All 8 ponies stared at the foal for a time. They didn’t know what to feel about this whole situation. They found a being from another universe that, by the sounds of it, had a terrible upbringing in the middle of the Everfree Forest. He had been teleported from his world to this one, was transformed from his original species into a new one, forgot his name, friends and family which was most probably a side effect of the teleport (although Celestia thought differently) and was injured and nearly killed by a manticore.
Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Applejack, Fluttershy, Twilight and surprisingly Rainbow Dash all wanted to hug the foal to try and make him feel better. They wanted to hold him tight until he released all his anger and frustration and until his eyes ran dry. They wanted to be there for him until he forgets all his worries and his troubles and such until he smiled. They probably would have done so if Celestia hadn’t stepped up to the foal and spoke to him once more.
“Would you allow me to scan you for any residual magic left on you from your teleportation and transformation? I spoke to Starswirl who was the pony that created the device that brought you here. He told me of his device and told me what it would do and that unless interfered with then it wouldn’t have done what it has done. It should never have brought you here let alone change you. I wish to also check your mind to see why your memories have been erased or are being blocked. Would that be okay with you?”
The foal looked at her for just a few seconds pondering her request. He wanted to know whose arse he needed to kick for bringing him here and changing him into a fucking pony. The only downside he saw was letting someone read his mind. He didn’t want anyone looking into his mind seeing the things he had done and the things he’d seen in his long-time of browsing the internet, and he definitely didn’t want anyone knowing about the….thing, he had locked away inside his mind. It was always there, a constant annoyance to him, yet he always ignored it for if he ever listened to it nothing good would come of it. After his internal debate about what he should do, he finally gave her a solid….
“yes.”
Celestia closed her eyes and gathered some of her magic into her horn. She started to structure her spell building the layers of variables and structures into it. After a minute her spell was ready and she released her magic at the foal scanning him for any residual magic and simultaneously scanning his memories. She was only looking at the folders of his mind, trying to find the ones that contained his family and friends and more importantly, himself. She eventually came across the memories of his friends. From her experience at using a spell like this she thought something was strange. The folder that was his memories of his friends was incredibly small compared to that from the minds of other ponies. It was the same size as only one other pony she knew. One that shied away from others. It was the same as her beloved students.
Celestia seemed saddened by this but also happy that despite all the bad experiences the foal had had, he still had some form of friendship. She might not know of all the bad that had happened to him but she did know of the struggles he had during his school life. She could help but sneak a peek at it the moment she saw it in his mind. She took but a fraction of a second to look before she promptly left it. There were a lot of memories missing from it. From her impression of it only one fifth of it was actually there.
Trying to get back on track, Celestia stopped her thoughts about that particular folder and went to look inside the folder containing his friends. When she tried to an image appeared before her, denying her entry into the folder. This image made her eyes go wide and she promptly shut off her magic and stopped the spell. It all made sense now. Starswirl had told Celestia that only a unicorn with as much power as himself or more could modify the device since he didn’t want anyone abusing it. But seeing that image had made it clear who had enough power and would want to do anything to it.
Celestia’s eyes opened and she turned to face the others in the room who were looking at her intently. They all wanted to know what she knew, and when she told them what she saw, all but the foal were shocked. What she saw, was a horrid creature. A creature that was a mix n match of other creatures all squished together to create a being of chaos. She saw Discord, sitting in a lawn chair with a pair of sunglasses on, sipping a drink though a straw while he twisted a padlock around on one of his claws.
hey everyone molten here. i now have an editor and proofreader that is going to help me with the story and such and help me in providing his knowledge on how to take the story in the direction i want and what he may want. please give a round of applause to Platinum2094.
now for some bad news. im back at college again and i know these chapters dont come out frequently as i only write when i get inspiration and such as im not good at planning ahead except for the base plot of this story so for a little while it may take longer for chapters to come out but i already have a few chapters kinda planned so as soon as i get to them i may pump out a few chapters quite quickly or just make 1 large chapter.
now i know some people will have a few questions for me about this chapter and stuff but dont worry, you'll find out about them soon enough, especially the thing he's hiding. everything has a reason so far in this story so there may be some things you may not think are intergral to the story but might be so keep your eyes open. although you may not see them like i want you to as im not exactly mentally stable as you can guess by the upbringing which in this story is just some of the stuff that happened to me. so bear with me in some ways. if you dont like some of the things let me know and ill try to work with you guys here.
After Celestia’s startling discovery they all looked at the foal with worry, fear, and in rainbows case, aggression. They didn’t know what to do or think. Could this foal be an agent of the god of chaos and bring about his return, or was he just an innocent bystander that was brought into the world on a whim of discords? After staring at the foal in thought for about a minute they all turned to each other and huddled around to think of what to do.
Not knowing who or what discord was and what the others were going to do, the foal did the only thing he could think of…lie down on his back and cross his arms…forelegs? In thought.
‘Ok, what the fucks going on now? I’ve already flipped out twice today and can’t be arsed doing it again. I know, once when i first got here and once during that fucking painful operation. Seriously what the hell were they thinking not putting me under like that? First chance I get I’m going to rip their fucking throats out and then I’m going to…. I should really learn to stop my thoughts from jumping all over the place on their own; seriously, that was fucking creepy.
Now that that that’s out of the way I can try and continue my thoughts without them trying to jump all over the place like usual…I seriously should have told my psychiatrist about that before I stopped needing to go to him. Oh well, schizophrenia, thy name is…..god dammit, I’m gunna kill that cunt discord if I ever see it.
Now let’s see what I’ve got to work with here. World full of magic, that’s a huge plus, stuck as a mutant pony, huge negative, I’ve got as much magic as this discord thing……don’t know how much magic that is so file that away till later. May be able to learn magic if I get them to teach me, huge plus, no technology meaning no pc, ps3, Xbox or internet and I’m quite possibly trapped here away from humanity… that last parts kind of ok but no technology. I have a feeling I’m going to become even more unstable being here before too long.
And how the fuck did they know what a human is? I have a bad feeling about this. You know what, fuck it; I’ll work this out later. I’ll just listen to some music in my head till I can calm down and think straight……think as straight as I usually do. Why can I never control my thoughts?’
As his thoughts finally stopped for long enough for him to find and song in his head and listen to it, all the other ponies in the room were continuing to talk to one another but every so often they would look back at the foal that was now lying on his back with his legs crossed, eyes closed and humming something.
Celestia wanted to know what he was thinking so she cast the mind reading spell again, but this time she focused on his thoughts, not his memories. When the spell activated she was hit with what could only be described as a beautiful voice, probably one of a young foal, singing in a language she didn’t understand. It was very beautiful Celestia thought, even if she didn’t understand what they were singing. A small smile escaped her lips for only a fraction of a second till she quickly put back on her neutral face.
The only one who seemed to notice was Luna. Luna wondered what would bring a smile to “Tia’s” face in a situation like this. She did the only thing she could think of, and performed the same spell as Celestia but instead of listening in to whatever the foal was thinking in her own head, she made it appear to come out of nowhere for all in the room to hear.
All the ponies in the room stopped talking and turned to look at the foal lying down with a small smile on his face. They all but couldn’t help but smile, even Spike who had only recently woken up during their bickering couldn’t help but smile. The foal was confused when the music started playing in his ears instead of his head, but when he opened his eyes and looked at Celestia and Luna and saw their horns glowing, he assumed they were performing some sort of spell or whatever and decided to just enjoy it. When he stopped playing the music in his head, the music in his ears didn’t stop so he assumed it was the spell taking the song from his memories or “some bullshit like that”.
After the song had ended Celestia and Luna stopped their spells and continued to stare at the foal. The foal was kind of annoyed as he had planned on thinking of another song to play (if the spell worked like that) that he would have found hilarious to see the reactions on their faces when they heard it. After a few seconds passed Celestia and Luna looked to each other and nodded. Celestia turned to her student and asked her if she and Luna could borrow some scrolls, 2 inkwells and quills. When Twilight agreed but asked why Celestia only answered.
“We need to contact the rulers of each race on Equis to determine what to do with the foal.”
Celestia gathered the materials needed and walked with Luna into the kitchen and shut the door. Twilight could feel the tell-tale signs of a silence spell and barrier spell being placed around the kitchen so nopony could see or hear what was going on in the kitchen. There was more to this than Celestia was letting on but Twilight trusted her mentor and long-time friend more than anyone could begin to describe.
After Celestia and Luna had sent the letters to their destinations Luna went to leave the kitchen to re-join the others but was stopped by Celestia.
“Lulu, we need to talk about Twilight. As I’m sure you can tell from the power emanating from her now she is already a medium level 9. You know what’s going to happen as well as I do.”
“Yes sister, I do. Is the same thing that happened to Starswirl and the others going to happen to her as well?”
“I don’t know Lulu. Her magic is still regenerating and at the rate it’s recovering I have a feeling she’ll stop at being a high level 9 close to 10 before her magic has regenerated completely. We both know what happens when a pony reaches level 9, but with the others, they slowly reached mid-level 9 just before…… but Twilight, she had high level 7 strength while that device was stealing most of her magic, but now though…
Now that it’s not and her magic is growing stronger it’s bound to start happening in the next few years. With her magic as it is now and how long she’ll potentially have till the process starts she may reach level 10. I don’t want Twilight to die like the others. Do you think we should tell her Lulu?” tears were starting to form in the immortal goddesses eyes.
“No, no I don’t. I think we should wait until the signs start appearing before we let her know. It’s best not to let her worry years before it begins. You know what she’s like, she’ll panic and panic and try and find a way around it and work herself to death trying to stop it. You know she would think she was betraying you should she become like us.”
“You’re right Lulu, you’re right. I just hope she survives, I really do.”
“Don’t worry Tia; we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it. But for now, I think we should address the situation of having an upset human that’s been pulled out of his own world, changed into something that in their eyes is an animal, given magic as strong as Discords and had to suffer being operated on whilst conscious. What do you think he’s going to do?”
“I don’t know Lulu, I just don’t know. His mind works differently to other ponies so when I was in there I couldn’t make out much about him. I don’t know how he’ll react to the meeting with the other races. I can’t imagine what it’s like having to be put through all he’s been through. Then have all this happen to him to then be told that he’s a threat to our planet and that his fate will be decided by a bunch of strangers. I don’t think he will take too kindly to it though, that much I do know.
We will just have to see how he’ll react to the news. I pray that he doesn’t become violent though, it would be hard trying to stop him with such a large amount of magic. And you know as well as I do that with his magic being so powerful….”
Luna paused as she looked at her sister more resolutely. “I do not like the way any fight with him could end.”
“Well Luna, let’s go and face the music, so to speak. I don’t think we should keep them waiting for long lest they start to question us for taking so long.” Luna smiled at her sister’s rather crude joke and turned towards the door to leave with her sister. “Oh and before I forget, well done for not slipping into old equestrian.”
And with that being said and Luna blushing they removed their spells from the room and promptly re-joined the others who were questioning the foal on what humans were like and what his world was like.
“So what was that song called? It was rather beautiful.” Asked Rarity with a smile on her face along with smiles from the other 6.
“Yeh, what was it? I don’t usually like songs like that but it was rather cool.” Stated Rainbow Dash after Rarity asked. All the others looked at her increduously for what she just said.
“The song is called Ave Maria, I can’t remember who it’s by as I downloaded it from the internet ages ago.” Said the foal while he was still lying on his back with his legs crossed.
The 6 ponies plus Dragon looked at the foal confused for a while before Twilight asked the questions they were all thinking.
“What does downloaded mean? And what’s the internet?” The foal stared at her for a few seconds before sighing. This was going to be annoying trying to explain technology to these ponies. “Downloaded means taking a copy of something from somewhere which in most cases is the internet. The internet is like…like a giant library where anyone with a computer or device with networking capabilities is able to connect to and upload, which means to add something, whatever they want and whenever they want. The internet is only limited by a person’s imagination”
‘And nearly every fucking government’ he thought bitterly.
“The internet is basically limitless and has all sorts of things on it such as games, music, videos, dating sites, information on nearly anything and lots of other things. Anyone anywhere in the world can put things on there and can download nearly anything.”
Twilight was foaming at the mouth, a limitless library with information from all over the world which can only keep increasing in size. It was almost too much for her to bear, if only she could visit the human world to see it but there were a few things stopping her from attempting to go there; Murder was one of them.
The other 6 could definitely make good Venus fly traps with the way they were staring open mouthed looking at the foal. It wasn’t until a good minute later when spike decided to ask 2 questions which only he for some reason thought of.
“What’s a computer and what’s a video?” this brought everyone out of their stupor and look towards the foal with a look that he couldn’t quite figure out except for the one on Twilight which was an unrestrained look of pure joy.
“A computer is an electronic device which is designed to perform actions and calculations and while it is able to think it is not in any way shape or form alive and cannot think for itself. They are designed to perform tasks and allow access to things like games, music, videos, document making, database creations and lots and lots of other uses. A computer is only limited by the user and the technology available at the time. We have computers running nearly everything so you can kind of imagine how useful they are.
As for what a video is….. Do you have movies….Motion pictures here?” asked the foal. He looked around at the others and just barely noticed the glow coming from where the princesses went to had just disappeared. When Spike nodded at the foal’s question, he continued.
“Well, a video is a motion picture, only they can come with sound or not at all depending on who created it.”
After maybe 2 minutes of silent staring the foal got tired and decided to take the initiative so he asked them if there was anything else they would like to know about humans and their technology. Surprisingly it was Fluttershy that stuck her hoof up and asked him a question.
“What are humans like… that is….if you don’t mind me asking?” She said whilst trying to make herself look small. With a sigh and some silent resignation the foal decided that this long question should be answered even if none of them were going to like what he had to say.
“Well that’s a very difficult question to answer. There are roughly 7 billion humans and each one is different to the other” the thought of 7 billion on one planet was unbelievable to them but none of them got the chance to ask since he didn’t stop talking. None of them even noticed the princesses come back in either.
“Well I suppose I could talk about the different countries, cultures and sub cultures that exist and such. Now then, where to start?” and like that the foal started to talk about humanity in general and answering any questions the ponies and dragon had as best as he could.

I haven't been able to write for some time on account of being busy with trying to find another job, going back to my old job as soon as the season started (its seasonal and starts around march/april time and ends September/October time), busy with a metric shit ton of college work, and generally life bitch slapping me. the thing thats been bothering me and giving me writers block when I have actual free time that's not been spent on catching up with stories I read is that my cousin is being a right twat.

For over four hours the foal tried to describe humanity as best as he could without adding his own hatred of it to the description to make them sound evil. The ponies were enthralled with what was being said. They didn’t know what to make of it all, all the different styles of people all with different tastes, so many different types of music and so many different languages.
Twilight throughout the explanation, had a look of unrestrained glee that only Pinkie Pie would be able to reproduce. So many different things to learn and she would never be able to learn it all on account of the only (partially) known method of getting to the human world.
After the foal had finished his little talk about humanity he looked to the others all with varying looks. Twilight was incredibly happy and only those close to her knew what the look in her eyes meant ,and they pitied the foal for the amount of questions she was going to ask.
Pinkie Pie looked ecstatic! Thinking about all the new ponies she could meet and throw parties for. So many different ponies with different lives that sounded SOOO interesting and fun! She could make one Ginorma-rific fantabulous bash for them all at Once! Ooo it would be the bestest party ever!
Rainbow seemed to come in and out of the explanation trying not to look to impressed at what the foal was saying. She had a reputation to keep after all. However her ears would always perk up at the talk of some film-flam style brothers who were able to make machines that made these weird "humans" fly. I mean how could something without wings fly! Especially since they couldn't even get rid of clouds in their way!
Fluttershy thought that the idea of zoo’s we’re brilliant but didn’t like some of the methods used to get the animals. Applejack was impressed at how they had machines designed purely for farming and would love to get her hooves on some of them to help around sweet apple acres.
Rarity was enthralled by the idea of so many different cultures including the high class society and celebrity lifestyles. She was especially happy when she learned that different fashions were incredibly popular she almost fainted. She did eventually faint when the foal had told her that humans wore clothing all the time and that it was considered a crime in all but a few places in the world to be seen without clothes on.
Spike…Spike was taking in the information quite well and was interested as well but didn’t really know what to think about humanity in the long run. Luna and Celestia were in the same position as Spike, although they were slightly confused as to some of the things the foal said about humanity. How could humans advance so fast in only 500 years?
Celestia knew about humans first hoof from the mind of Curve Horn the Demented. She knew what they were capable of and knew how powerful they were even if there were only a small amount of them.
Luna only knew about humans after she returned from her banishment. 3 days after her return she had journeyed into the library to try and catch up on some of the things she missed. She preferred this method to that of simply sharing Celestia’s memories with herself. 2 months after her return she had found a book written by her sister’s advisor at the time with diary notes taken from a "Curve Horn the Demented’s" diary. Luna could only marvel at the power they possessed.
After giving the ponies (plus dragon) time to think for a few minutes he started talking again. “And that folks is a very very brief explanation of humans. Although there is a lot more about us but I’m not really knowledgeable about humanity”.
This drew confused looks from them all. How could he not know about his own race? They all thought the same thing but only Rarity voiced the question they all thought of.
“Whatever do you mean darling? How can you not know about your own species?”
“Meh, I dislike people so I try and avoid them when I know I’m not going to like them, which is most of the time. That and after all the shit I put up with I used to just stay inside to avoid others and play video games and watch TV so I never really bothered trying to understand things about humans that I didn’t really care about.”
The ponies and dragon that were gathered around the foal couldn’t believe what he had said. They lost any chance to continue their trains of thought when a loud growling noise suddenly came from the foal’s stomach. He looked down at his own stomach for a second before looking back up to the others that now held smiles.
“heh, guess I haven’t had the chance to eat at all since I became like this. Can I get something to eat please, I am rather hungry.”
“Sure, what would you like?” asked Twilight whilst smiling seemingly forgetting his previous grim statement. The foal was about to ask for a burger or something if they had any but then he realised something…All the horses and ponies in his world were herbivores so maybe these were the same. And then he came to a dreadful conclusion…he may never be able to eat bacon or steak again.
Slowly coming to the conclusion that he may have to become a *shudder* Vegan. However, he realised that the astronomical odds of an herbivorous species that comes to sapience was incredibly low, and then thought what the odds were that a species similar to one from his world that had somehow evolved to become sapient AND have the same language as him might not have the same dietary needs as his world's equines. That and the diet needed for higher brain functions supposedly had to have meat somewhere so he had that going for him. ‘thank you discovery channel and thank you Brain' he thought. ‘you’re welcome’ was the scary thought that came back.
“Erm, considering I don’t know what your species is able to eat I don’t know. Surprise me” he said.
Twilight thought for a second before deciding to use the leftover soup spike made that morning. As she left for the kitchen she heard the foal start to ask questions again but paid it no mind.
“So what can I eat now that I’m a pony?” he asked as Twilight left the room to prepare some food. Celestia was the first to speak up amongst the group.
“Well, ponies eat fruit,vegetables, grains, some grasses and flowers and such, but.." "And yummy cookies and cakes and muffins, and cupcakes and Hrmph!" "Go ahead Princess" said Applejack with a hoof currently in Pinkies maw "Thank you Applejack, now since you are an Alicorn, which carries Pegasi magic, you may also eat fish”.
To say that the foal was heartbroken was an understatement. I mean sure, he could still eat fish but…..no more bacon, no more steak or turkey or chicken. But most tragically of all, no more lasagne. (What is he, Garfield?) He just sat there on his haunches with his mouth agape.
“Does….does that means I can no longer eat meat?” he asked devastated. Celestia shook her head in confirmation; he would never be able to eat meat again. The foal didn’t know what to think, so he sat there with a blank look in his eyes. The next words to come out of his mouth were the first words that came to mind.
“Well bollocks”.
“Is it safe to assume that your species is carnivorous then?” asked Luna curiously. Could the foal be just like gryphons and dragons?
“Nope, were omnivores we eat meat, fruit, veg, nuts and fish”. He stated with a bit of sadness in his voice….no more roast dinners *sniffle*.
After he explained his previous diet Twilight trotted back into the room with a bowl of tomato soup, a spoon and some bread to go with it. She placed them on the table near the foal and gave him a smile. He smiled back to her and went over to the bowl to start eating when a sudden thought came to mind, and a confused look to the spoon in the bowl.
“Er…..how do I pick up the spoon or the bread? I don’t have hands and I have no clue how to use magic like you so….what?” he genuinely had no clue. Thankfully Celestia was able to answer him as soon as he asked.
"Well, all ponies have an innate magical ability that lets them pick things up with their hooves. Just try to pick them up as you would any utensil with your hooves"
So he tried that and low and behold, he actually felt the spoon his grasp.
“Huh, it feels like I’ve got my hands back kind of, how weird”. After mentally shrugging he proceeded to start on the soup. And by start on his soup I mean utterly devoured it, the whole thing was gone in less than a minute, bread included.
After he had finished, they broke into more conversations about humanity and the foal asked questions about ponykind too. Until a question popped into his head that made him wonder why he didn’t think of it until just now.
“So how the hell do you know about humans anyway and what was with the kneeling/bowing earlier?” at that point Rainbow, Applejack, Fluttershy, Rarity, Pinkie and Spike looked to Celestia only just now wondering the same thing, Twilight and Luna already knowing from reading the book in the royal archives.
“Well, for the bowing to you, it is a sign of respect for those who have great power or knowledge and since your people have both power and knowledge far beyond our own we should show respect for you”.
“Well please don’t, its annoying and I hate it. Anyway, please continue”. The foal rudely interrupted but Celestia continued anyway.
“As for how we know of your kind…. Around 500 or so years ago, a pony on one of my magical research teams had used a few famous pony's theories of looking at other planets in our galaxy and using a portal to travel to them. To do so though he would need the magic of around 25 unicorns.Not only that, he would need to use their souls as a means of estabilising the portal.
I naturally declined his request to do it, even with condemned criminals but he decided to do it anyway. He tricked one of the classes he taught into doing it and didn’t let any of them know that doing so would not only kill them, but destroy their souls and stop them from going to one of the eternal planes after they had died.
The spell worked and he ended up on the homeworld of humanity. He stayed there for some time, learning from them before they used their own magic to send him back here. Where, he was promptly locked up and his magic to be sealed from him. Through a spell that allowed me to invade his mind, I learned of your species.
What I found astounded me, even though humanity have the magic of an average unicorn, they could do so much with so little of it. Truly masters of their magic. What I didn’t know until you came was that his spell took him to another dimension entirely.
So, until your kind discovers that you’re missing and promptly come to get you, the delegates from around the world will decide what to do with you in the meantime, any questions?” asked Celestia.
The foal just stared at her for a while until he burst out laughing. Why he was laughing, no one knew, not even himself but hey, that’s how it is when your mind likes to break down at times.
“Well, I can successfully say that they aren’t coming to rescue me at all for a few reasons. 1: we don’t have magic. We have legends of it but we’ve never had it so that throws your story out the window and I can only assume that your version of humanity is still in this universe and that his spell only sent him to another planet like you originally thought. 2: we don’t have the technology yet to travel across dimensions so I’ll probably just go onto a missing persons list and eventually be presumed dead. 3: those delegates you mentioned will either want me locked up, dead or tested on to gain my knowledge if they are anything like my humanity is so I doubt I’ll ever get rescued. And don’t sugar-coat it, I come from a dangerous planet with technology that completely dwarfs this planets so they will either want what’s in my head or want me dead to protect themselves, it’s the logical choices. And finally 4: where’s the toilet?”
Silence….complete and utter silence was all that come from them. They didn’t know what to do or what to think. So Spike did the only logical thing he could think of.
“It’s up the stairs, last door on the left” he said to the foal running on autopilot.
“Much appreciated” was all that was said as he trotted up the stairs unsteadily and went into the bathroom and shut the door. a few minutes of silence was all that was left of the library while he was in there. Everypony plus dragon were all in a world of their own trying to digest what the foal said.
“How do I use this thing” was the question which finally penetrated the silence. This time Spike wasn’t the one to answer but Twilight.
“Just pull the handle down on the side of the white box behind it”. Silence for another 30 seconds.
‘How was he struggling to find the toilets flush handle? Seriously, it sticks out like a sore hoof’ thought Twilight.
“I wasn’t on about the toilet…………….I was on about my own body” came back his reply sounding very embarrassed.
I'm so sorry everyone who reads and likes this. I really am. but shit has been going on a lot. thankfully I found a job, its shit and with only 12 hours a week but its a fucking start. Now I think nearly everyone who's been reading the author notes when I leave them knows that shit has been going on with the house and inheritance of it between my sister and I and my oxygen stealing cunt faced fucker of a cousin of mine...
well I just received rim news today, a month ago to shut my cousin up we put the house on the market while my sister and I work together to get a mortgage to buy him out. we put it up for £220,000 as it was worth about £180-£190 k and hoped no one would look at it let alone make an offer. well someone put an offer in and now they want us to get the solicitors to draw up the deeds for our house at £205,000. if we say no my cousin will surely sue us (even if he has hardly anything to go with) but the fucker is a sneaky little shit that would probably bribe the fuckers and make some sob story up about how he was so hard done.
so long story short, were gunna have to accept it and sell the house. my sister and I, after we get our money are going to put it together and get a mortgage and buy my mother a new house....as I type this now the urge to drive to the city where my cousin lives, find him, and give him some good old fashioned inquisition torture is unbelievable. in fact the only reason im not is out of love and respect for my mother who doesn't want it doing.
lets just say I don't know how long im going to be put off doing anything. I know its been ages since I wrote anything let alone uploaded but now you know why. im sorry everyone, I really am.....but this has just really gotten to my family. do you want to know what makes me angry the most....the fact that I only feel a small amount of anger at all and that's just cus its made my mother and sister cry...I don't feel angry other the loss, I don't feel sad, I don't feel anything..i don't know why I feel nothing. I want to feel something but I just cant except anger at my cousin for making my family cry. and that's it. so im sorry guys, im slightly angry and confused as hell and I don't know what to do... so I don't know if ill be writing for a while. im sorry
