A thrilling tale of Minecraft ponies and mods.With some other gubbins.
This is going to be a quality of quantity story. In this story dear child we watch as
A brony is sent to Equestria to complete a quest only he (and his friends) can handle. These three friends are sucked into Equestria by mysterious means while playing Minecraft with a metric ton of intensive mods. Can they survive and thrive in this new land? Probably one is in creative mode.
The mods involved in this story are: Hexxit, Tekkit, All of Flan's mod, Archimedes Ships, Rival Rebels, Assasin Craft, Food Plus, Mr.Cray's furniture mod, Orespawn, Custom Npc's, My Little Brony, and more. Note:if I use something in the story that might not be in a mod just roll with it.
I loaded up the world and invited my two co-hosts.
"Okay, today's Minecraft mod review is special because it's something I'm very fond of."
I couldn't see his face, but I could tell Jared was frowning."Please don't tell me its My Little Pony."
I had a madman's grin as I said "Well obviously what else is supercallifradgeilisticexpialodocius? I mean anything else would simply be atrocious."
Connor was looking at the giant wall behind me. "So I noticed that there are a lot of mods loaded, why?"
"Because I needed them to build my amazing Redstone contraption that will teleport us to EQUESTRIA!" I said with obvious gusto. "If you will look to your left you will see the Elements of Harmony neatly displayed. Now I've assigned each element to a different boss in each mod. We and by that I mean you two have to kill each boss, acquire all six elements, and then you have to get the fourteen specifically named blocks required to make the portal to the final showdown with an evil foe, once you have defeated him you shall return home." I finished standing in front of my Redstone contraption.
I could feel Jared scratching his head in confusion. "This sounds more like a new series than a mod review."
"Exactly because it is." I pulled the switch to the machine and suddenly our Minecraft's simultaneously crashed.
"Oh come on." I could hear Connor lamenting the crash over Skype. I shook my head. "Guess we're gonna have to restart the server."As I reached for the Minecraft button my screen suddenly started flashing rainbow colors. "Well shi- Then we were whisked away through our computers on a journey we never expected.
Twilight Sparkle and the rest of the Mane Six ran into the Canterlot throne room. "Twilight thank you for coming," Celestia said. Worry plainly etched on her face.
"We came as soon as we heard Princess.What's happened to the Elements of Harmony?" Twilight asked.
"The Elements have disappeared."
"What do you mean?" Twilight had a look of confusion on.
"As best as we can figure their disappearance was caused by three strange creatures that appeared in a flash of light earlier."
"Where are the creatures?"
"In the dungeon.Follow me" Celestia began to walk towards a small door in the far corner o the room.
*Re-entering story mode*
As I woke up from my stupor I looked around.I was in a large fairly well-furnished cell with Isaac Clarke and Delsin Rowe.Now I may not the most intelligent person in the world but I had read enough fanfics that when you wake up in a cell with no memory of how you got there it probably means you've been teleported to Equestria. I figured that was the stupidest way to explain the situation and went with it.From further down the hall I heard something like the sound of heels on tile naturally I assumed it was the police.I took a glance at my own outfit and groaned when I noticed what it was, I was dressed like the merchant dude from Resident Evil...something or other I don't know.I decided to wake up Delsin and Isaac whom I deduced were in fact Connor and Jared respectively.
"Piss off I'm trying to sleep," Jared mumbled.I shook my head and resorted to poking his face.
"Get up, your nap can wait."Eventually, he slapped my hand away and got up yawning the whole time.I then got to work on Connor who was substantially easier to awaken.
"So to review the situation, We look like our Minecraft characters, We don't know where we are, and we have no currently conceivable way home," I said all of this while remaining perfectly calm, like I said earlier I've read a lot of fanfiction.
Connor looked a little bit nervous when he said "What are we going to do?"
"Simple we try and sort out whatever misunderstanding landed us in jail." Jared looked awfully proud of that idea.
I pointed out the obvious flaw in that plan "We don't why or where we are in jail so my guess, they probably won't speak English." The sound from earlier was getting louder I was beginning to question just how far away it was.After waiting and talking amongst ourselves for awhile, the sound stopped and was replaced by the sound of a large door creaking open and in walked the one the only Princess Celestia.All three of us were stunned by this, well Jared and Connor were more stunned than me but I was stunned because I didn't think my stupid idea was true.
Behind Celestia came the Mane Six.Celestia spoke in a commanding and slightly scary tone when she asked "Who are you three, how did you get here, and where are the Elements of Harmony."
"I stepped forward and put a hand on my chest "Allow me to explain my liege." I pointed to Connor and said "He is a master inventor who combines magic and science together to create items of unparalleled brilliance." I then pointed to Jared "He is a warrior who fought hundreds of foes without fear.The two of them combined are great heroes who have saved countless lives." I concluded.
Celestia raised an eyebrow a faint smile playing on her lips. "I noticed that you neglected to include yourself in your description why?Do you have something to hide."
I smiled "No I have nothing to hide I simply have no great deeds to speak of I am but a simple merchant who travels with and supplies them.Onto the other questions, We do not know how we got here wherever here is and I do not know where these Elements of Harmony are but I have an idea on how to figure out." I could tell Celestia believed me on us not knowing how we got here however she seemed hesitant to trust us.
Finally, Twilight spoke up "Princess if what it says is true then maybe they could help us get the Elements back and if not then you return them to the cell."She finished with a look that said "Please Princess I want to study them and if possible befriend them." But that could just be me.
Celestia looked to Twilight and back to us.She sighed "I believe you are right Twilight perhaps they can help.But you are responsible for their behavior."
The look on Twilights face could have killed a pug with adorableness. "Oh thank you thank you thank you don't worry Princess I promise they won't cause any problems.You have my word."
Connor apparently decided now was the best time to speak up. "That's great and all but uh when's dinner I'm starving."
I knew the perfect thing to say. "Oh my god Connor you can't just ask when's dinner."
As we walked toward the royal dining hall I gave Connor and Jared a quick lesson on what they should do "Guys you're going to have to act like your characters if we want to gain their trust.Believe your own lie. " They both nodded in understanding. As we entered the dining hall I took a moment to appreciate just how nice it was. You know marble floors, pillars, and expensive drapes. The works, It appeared that the staff must have heard of our coming to dinner as they had set out three very minotaur-esque chairs. I inquired about the nature of the chairs.
"Oh, those are the chairs we use whenever we have minotaur ambassadors here. " Twilight spoke as if she was giving a lesson. Connor and Jared had already sat down and been served. The meal: a large albeit pretty salad, Not what I was hoping for. Several servants trotted about refilling glasses as the need arrived but no matter where they went their eyes were always on us.
Eventually, Celestia decided to ask a few questions. "So what exactly did you three do before you came here?"
Connor looked up. "Well, we mostly just went around looting treasure from structures."
"Structures?"
"You know pyramids, castles, graveyards, the labyrinths filled with the undead. You know the usual."
Jared nodded in confirmation. Twilight looked at us in shock. "You mean your only means of income was to search for treasure and *gulp* kill others?"
Jared looked up from his salad. "That about explains it."
Celestia looked to me. "But you didn't fight did you? You just followed them around and made them pay for supplies that could mean the difference between life and death." It almost sounded like she was angry. How cute.
I stared at her. "No I have fought and killed alongside them, albeit for a price yes, but I would give them supplies free of charge if I thought they would die without them, these two are walking gold mines for a merchant willing to take the risk," I said all of this in my no-nonsense voice. Celestia looked at me and smiled. She then turned her head over to Jared.
She batted her eyes and smiled. "What do you think is your friend a kind person? Also do you trust him?"
Jared looked to her and to me and smiled. "Is he kind? This man once risked life and limb to save an entire village from a giant monster hellbent on killing us, and then he walked right up to that fucker and beat him bloody with a goddamn frying pan. So yeah I trust him, I would follow him to hell and back and have."
Luna spoke up, almost forgot she was there." Well, if you are all such formidable warriors how would you feel about a sparring match with the Royal Guard?"
I looked to Connor and Jared who both shrugged." Why not? We're game."
Rainbow Dash then decided to speak up. "Why don't you tell us some more about the things you've fought."
Connor decided to answer. "Well to give a short list, we've fought: dragons, the undead, pirates, robots, giant insects, evil rabbits, exploding trees, gods, the essence of the sun, oh and the most memorable ourselves in an interesting little duel."
We all began to file out of the dining hall and follow the princesses to the training yard. I walked next to my friends and whispered to them." Do you guys think we've retained our fighting prowess?" They both shrugged and gave me a look that said "We hope so."
Little did I know that we could fight and were going to pretty soon, but that we had other abilities that would help us on our quest.
The training yard was a large hexagon of dirt with several dummies and targets spaced around a small arena in the middle. A white unicorn in Royal Guard armor walked over and saluted. I studied his face and then looked at his cutie mark, I instantly recognized him "Corndog pone! It's you." Everyone looked at me like I was insane except for Twilight who walked over and hugged Shining Armor.
"Hey, BBBFF these are the creatures we found."
Shining smiled and said. "Hey, Twily how are you?" He looked at me and said. "Why did you call me Corndog pone?"
I smiled. "Spoilers Shining spoilers."
Celestia shook her head and looked to Shining. "Shining we came here to test the combat capabilities of these creatures as they claim to be heroes. Would you help us?"
Shining smiled. "Of course Princess. I would be happy too." He looked at me first. "We will test your abilities first. Do you have a weapon?"
I didn't have a weapon, but I decided to test something. I reached inside my backpack and the Not Enough Items hud appeared. I smiled and pulled out a rose and a gold sword.Bowing deeply I presented the rose to Celestia and said. "For you ma lady, wish me luck." Several ponies gasped at my pulling the sword out of my backpack. Connor and Jared then started rifling through their pockets to see if they could duplicate the feat.
Celestia scowled at the rose but took it nonetheless. "Don't think you'll get a kiss."
"Not until after the match.No" I then walked into the ring with Shining who had his own blade, a slender piece of work wrought of steel. It reminded me of a falchion. Shining got into a defensive stance as soon as his hooves started to spread out I let my instincts take over. I sprinted at him blade low to the ground.He brought his sword up to block the attack but at the last moment I jumped, sailing over him. Once I landed behind him I brought the sword up in an overhead slash, he blocked and stumbled back. He ran at me and swiped at my midsection. I dodged and swung cutting him lightly across the cheek, he seemed surprised I hit him. He swung low and I blocked, stabbing at him, he jumped back, I brought my foot up and kicked him in the chest. He stumbled backwards, I decided to end the fight, swinging low I brought my sword up in a sweeping arc, knocking the sword out of his magic grip, I put my sword up against his chest and said."The point, game, match." I lowered the sword and smiled.
Celestia gently clapped at the show and said." Well, I believe you now that you have shown me your skill with a blade." She then surprised me by leaning over pecking me on the cheek.
I smiled and replied with." Well, I am skilled with a blade." I walked over to Connor and Jared, patted them on the back and said." You guys can't get items remember. That's what we agreed on." They nodded and resigned to the fact that they wouldn't be able to cheat my shop. The next two fights ended fairly the same although we did learn that each of us had a different fighting style, Jared used slow and powerful swings, while Connor had a fast and darting style akin to a snake. Afterwards, Celestia left to go to the throne room as there was someone requesting an audience. We stayed with Luna as the rest of the Mane Six left to explore Canterlot. I could tell Twilight still had some questions but was saving them for later. Luna then showed us our rooms.
~20 Minutes Later~
As we walked along the royal hallway we heard a crash from the throne room, I quickly handed out weapons, to Connor I gave a manually rapier, Jared a diamond battle-axe, and to myself a shotgun. We looked inside and saw our first villain who has an Element of Harmony, Cpt. Bikke holder of the Element of Loyalty A.K.A the weakest boss we ever fought. He was standing in the middle of the throne room with about five pirates around him. Celestia was glaring daggers at him from her throne. We looked at each other and nodded, it was time to fight. Connor sprinted forward jumping into the midst of the pirates. Jared slammed into the nearest one and brought his axe down. I loaded my gun with incendiary slugs and ran towards Bikke, once I reached him I brought the gun up and pulled the trigger. His head exploded in a gruesome display, bone and grey matter sent flying.
Celestia walked over, visibly shaken from Bikke's headless body. "Well, then I guess that settles it you three really are heroes."
I looked at Celestia and said. "Celestia this is just the first boss we've got 19 more to fight before we can get out of here." I reached down and pulled the Element of Loyalty off of Bikke and tossed it to her. "There's a war coming and like the coming storm we won't be able to stop it. We'll just fight it." I walked away, heading in the direction of my room. I needed to review some information. I just hoped things didn't go exactly like I planned or else there might be funeral for one of us.
"Do we really have to go to this Grand Scalloping Gala thing?" Jared was complaining as Rarity took his measurements.
Connor looked up from the book about Equestrian history he was reading. "Well from what I can tell this Gala is a very important event here in Equestria and we should be grateful we were invited at all, plus it will help us learn more about the ponies and their social order."
"Darling if you don't stop fidgeting we'll never get your suit done." Rarity tightened the band around his waist with her and magic and smiled when he went. "Eugh."
At that very moment, Twilight decided to walk in. "Excuse me but Celestia wants to speak to the heroes about the Gala tonight."
I stood up and after looking around to make sure I hadn't forgotten anything said. "Sure. Just lead the way, I'm sure Rarity can finish up without us. Right?"
"Yes, dears I'm fine go on ahead." She seemed to have not registered that we had already left.
We quickly walked toward the ballroom where the Gala would be held, Celestia was standing at the entrance watching the laborers set up everything. I walked up and tapped her. "So what is it you wanted to tell us?"
She blinked a couple times and looked over at me. "I simply wanted to warn you that everypony will be watching you so don't let the nobles get a hook on you or else they'll use it to their advantage."
I held up my forefinger and thumb in a circle. "Gotcha." Jared and Connor also said they understood. I walked towards the library with Twilight I was sure she had some questions and I felt like answering them. Jared and Connor walked towards the kitchen discussing the merits of cake vs. pie, pfft everyone knows muffins are where it's at.
Several hours later the three of us were standing in front of a large mirror in our new suits. Mine was designed so that my purple scarf and backpack seemed like stylish fashion choices instead of a bag and something to cover my face. Jared was covered in the same Unitology marks as his armor and stylized in such a way that his RIG was more like a hi-tech, super thin and motionless, cape then something to monitor your vitals. Connors suit was designed so that it still seemed rebellious and punk but also kind of refined and distinguished. All in all we were three snazzy motherfuckers. We walked toward the Gala, Celestia had just finished our introduction when we walked in. All eyes were on us, I walked down the steps and over to the band and handed them a piece of music and said. "Play this will you?." I walked back up to Celestia and Luna and held my hand to Luna she took it in her hoof and we danced. Once we began everypony seemed to relax.
------------------Later------------------ I walked over to Celestia, her eyes transfixed on a half-full wine glass I picked it up and examined it saying. "Now while I am sure this is a wonderful glass I do believe you are quite bored. Am I right?"
She looked at me and sighed. "Yes. I am bored every year this happens, the nobles chat with me for a while and try to get me to help them and then wander off when I decline to." She hit her head against the table while letting out a very unladylike "hrrmph".
I put an arm on her and said. "What it looks like to me you need to relax and have some fun."
"How am I supposed to have fun. None of my subjects would hang out with me. Also, I'm a princess anything I did would be news to everypony by tomorrow."
I pondered that for a moment and then had an idea. "Well, how about we get absolutely hammered and then if anyone says anything just say that it was my fault and let me take all the blame."
She looked at me like I just invented fire but was awfully hesitant. "I couldn't do that to you."
I smiled. "You can and you will. Come on." I led Celestia into the gardens and pulled from my pack a bottle of Faelnirv, a wondrous concoction made from elderberries and distilled moonbeams, we passed it back and forth for a while until our respective means of grasping the bottle could no longer accomplish the task. The next set of events I can never remember fully or in what order the occurred but I'll be damned if they weren't fun.
Sprinting through Canterlot with Celestia at my side, the both of us giggling like children who have done wrong and know they will have to face the consequences but still enjoy the chase. I never did learn what we did all I know is that it involved a noble's house and several hundred desserts.
The "Oohs" and "Aahs" from the ponies attending the Gala as I sent multicolored fireworks into the night sky.
The two of us sitting inside of a shady, by all standards, bar while a terrified stallion served us drinks. My guess is that Tia slurred something into what seemed like a threat because we never did pay our tab.
And the looks of fear, elation, and wonder as I told her of the many journeys I had embarked on with my friends.
But my favorite is when she and I sat on a pillar I had constructed overlooking Canterlot and Ponyville and she fell asleep on my side. I widened the platform and placed down a bed laying her in it and stood vigil over her for the night.
"Princess! Princess!" A courier sprinted into the royal dining hall as we all enjoyed our breakfast; fresh hay cakes and for me and my friends bacon,
Celestia rose from her seat at the end of the table. "What is it, courier?"
" *huff* Princess, the mayor of Manehattan has requested an audience. It sounds urgent."
Celestia stood and trotted towards the doors. I stood and stretched, looking to Luna I spoke. "Hey, Luna is there any unused rooms in the castle that we could use as a base of operations?"
She sat and pondered the question for a while. "Yes. I do believe there is, follow me." She stood and walked out of the room with us close behind. The Mane Six began to leave, they had to return to Ponyville eventually right? Luna led us around the maze of a castle to a small storage room devoid of anything. I conjured three pickaxes and ordered everyone to begin work on an extensive tunnel system. Three hours later we had hollowed out about thirty rooms giving us plenty of space to build, we had wood floors covered in carpet and art on the walls, the lap of luxury.
Celestia entered the first room and called for us. Soon the four of us were in the ornate kitchen I had built. "So before you say anything Tia I have some business I need to discuss." I looked to my friends. "Guys......Your tab is fucking enormous. You really need to pay it off."
Jared threw his hands in the air. "What the hell man, really? We need to pay off our tab. Is this really the best time?
Connor looked at me and shrugged. "I have to agree with Jared. How are we supposed to pay it off? We don't exactly have anything to pay you with."
Celestia spoke up. "Is it possible that I could pay off the debt? Surely there is something I can give you."
I smirked. "Your love." Celestia's face grew beet red and I busted out laughing. "Your face. Oh, my god. I was just messing around. No no no, how about seventeen diamond and fifty bits. Obviously I am giving everything to you at a very reduced price."
Her face still red she handed me the money and said she'd give me the diamonds later. "So what is it you wanted Tia?" I really was wondering.
She cleared her throat and said. "Well, there seem to be reports of ponies disappearing and reappearing terrified of everything in Manehattan." Jared stifled a laugh.
I stroked my chin. Who could it be? Then my eyes widened as I remembered. "That's it! Our enemy is none other than Dr. Crane. The Scarecrow, holder of the Element of Honesty."
Jared's eyebrows bunched together. "Why does he have Honesty."
Connor looked up from the crafting bench in the corner. "Well, my guess is there is some correlation between Honesty and fear. Like they're antonyms. You know?" He then smiled and pulled out a pair of boots that glittered in the light. Diamond I presume.
I smiled at him. "Well to fight Scarecrow you guys are gonna need weapons from the same mod. So I'll give 'em to you for free." They both smiled I rarely gave them free stuff and even then it was usually on loan. I walked over to Connor and handed him a White Lantern ring. I gave Jared Mjolnir and looked to Celestia, raising an eyebrow I pulled out Star-Lord's helmet and offered it to her. "You feel like being a hero Tia?" She stared at it for a while before picking it up and inspecting it.
I rushed everyone outside to the Gardens. Connor put on the ring and recited the oath "In Brightest Day, In Brightest Night, Let My Ring Shine The Brightest Light, When Evil Comes, I Will Join The Fight, The Power of The White Lanterns is The Strongest Might!" He was instantly covered in the uniform. Jared raised Mjolnir to the sky and lighting struck the hammer. He was garbed in Thor's raiment. Celestia looked a little skeptical as I put on Flash's ring and was clothed. Nonetheless, she put the helmet on and was soon dressed like Star-Lord including an Elemental Gun. She gave herself a once over before looking to us and smiling.
I decided that we should probably be heading out after we got changed. Several ponies gave us weird looks on the train, what with a guy dressed in white, a nord god, a dude dressed like a red...thing, and their princess in some weird getup. Celestia tried telling us something but couldn't open her helmet. I eventually had to help take it off. "While I am quite happy that you have endeavored to bring me along. You do realize it's a two-day trip and you only bought three-bed compartments?"
It then dawned on me that maybe buying as many compartments as fifty bits could buy was not a good idea. "Well, it looks like two people are sleeping together. Now as.."
Before I could finish Jared and Connor had already placed their fingers on the tips of their noses. "Well shit."
Celestia looked to me in confusion. "What are they doing?"
"Well, Tia it looks like we're bunking together." I began to change into sleepwear when I heard a small 'eep' come from behind me. Turning around I saw Celestia had a blush on her cheeks. How cute.
Three days later
I stood on top of the building next to my friends, Celestia included, looking down towards the pony standing in the dim glow of the street lamp, from within a nearby alley we heard a slight rustling noise, turning towards it I saw a man adorned in the rags of a scarecrow. Finally after two days of long train rides and one day of scouting the city we found him. Celestia sucked in her breath. "Is that him?" I nodded. "Shouldn't we do something?"
Connor spoke up. "If we stop him here we might not find any other ponies he's kidnaped." We had done some training in our down time so each of us could use our abilities fairly well. I was confident they could take him down. He quickly stepped behind the pony and jabbed a needle into her. Her unconscious body fell to the floor with an Thump. We followed him as he slung the mare's body over his shoulder and walked back through the alley before coming to a stop at the window of a deserted warehouse. We all peeked in through some boards and saw several operating tables each with ponies staring wild-eyed at thin air, gags tied around their mouths prevented them from screaming.
After formulating a plan they decided to break inside, I stood back and watched, Connor busted in through a second story window and willed a buzz saw into existence. he quickly cut the ropes binding the ponies as Jared burst through the main doors sending his hammer flying into the chest of Scarecrow who was smashed against the wall. Celestia quickly entered and fired a single shot from her Elemental Gun, freezing Scarecrow solid. She began searching his person for the Element but quickly turned up empty-hoofed. I strode inside and quickly began administering milk to the ponies to cure them of Scarecrow's serum. I then walked over to Scarecrow and began vibrating my hand at lightning fast speeds and then slammed my palm into his heart, stopping it dead. He slumped over his body quickly dissipating into wisp of smoke. Several items hit the floor once Scarecrow was done dissipating, the Element, a medium sized leather backpack, and a scythe, picking up the scythe I looked inside the bag which contained a fairly large amount of bits and some other materials.
Celestia was huddled with the ponies speaking to them as a mother would after a bad dream. She looked over at us and said something, the ponies looked to us and nodded. They rose and walked over thanking us for all we did. We assured them it was no big deal but one of them insisted they contact the mayor and organize a parade. We hesitantly accepted and the ponies left. I walked over to Celestia and spoke. "So how does it feel to be a hero."
She smiled and said. "Fantastic. When they looked at me when I walked over I saw such gratitude in their eyes, the likes of which I have not seen for quite a while. It was........refreshing. Is this what you three did on a regular basis where you come from?"
I stood on top of one of the many floats parading down the street. Connor, Jared, and Celestia stood next to me. After we saved the ponies from the Scarecrow they decided to throw us a parade. All the stores and businesses closed for the day to celebrate. Connor and Jared were still in their costumes, Celestia and I had decided to change back to our normal attire.
A magenta pony with a cutie mark of streamers walked up to us and said. "The route will end once we get to the town hall."
Suddenly Luna teleported onto the float, her mane was disheveled and she was panting. "Heroes there is a beast attacking Canterlot."
I grabbed her shoulders. "What does it look like Luna?"
"It was as large as an Ursa Minor and had one large eye in the middle of its head."
A roar echoed from behind us as Mothra rose from behind several skyscrapers. "Shit. Connor, Jared kill Mothra. Luna teleport me and Celestia to Canterlot. We'll kill Cypher.
Celestia's brow furrowed. "How do you know the beast is called Cypher?"
"Not important. Let's go." I felt a tickling sensation as Luna teleported me and Celestia. We appeared in the middle of Canterlot several feet away from Cypher who was currently harassing several ponies hiding behind a market stall. I pulled out a bow and arrow as Celestia flew to the castle to retrieve more guards. I fired several arrows into his back, he turned to look at me as I threw a potion of slowness at him. His movements instantly slowed to a crawl, I threw an ender pearl at his shoulder. I teleported onto him and my leg snapped with a sickening *CRACK*. I pulled out a healing potion and winced as my leg righted itself.
Celestia had returned with the guards who were currently escorting civilians away from the fight. Celestia had gold armor tinged with red on, she carried a large flamberge that glowed white hot around the edge. She swung cutting into Cypher's chest, he bellowed in pain. I pulled out a mace enchanted with fire aspect. I swung at his eye and jumped back as his eye caught on fire. I put on cloud boots and jumped to a nearby building. The slowness potion had ceased by now, he lashed out and knocked Celestia to the ground where she laid unmoving.
I released a primal scream as I pulled out Slice and leaped at him. I stabbed my sword into his arm and used it as a handhold to jump onto his shoulder, I pulled out a minigun and released a volley of lead into the side of his head, dropping the gun I spawned the Attitude Adjuster and slammed down with all my might. Cypher's skull exploded into morbid fireworks.
I jumped down and ran to Celestia. "Don't be dead. Don't be dead. Don't be dead." I repeated this mantra over and over until I got to her I kneeled down and cradled her head in my hands I pulled out a golden apple and cut it into pieces, I gently placed it into her mouth and worked her jaw up and down to chew it. I repeated this with the rest of the apple and the poured a potion of healing down her throat. I heard the sound of murmuring as ponies stared at their Princess laying on the ground.
I heard the sound of coughing as Celestia opened her eyes as she smiled at me. "I guess I owe you my life twice now." I laughed as I picked her up and carried her back to the castle despite her protests.
Connor and Jared's battle with Mothra
After I was teleported away Connor and Jared took to the skies to battle Mothra, Luna was still recovering.
Jared shook his head and sighed. "When did our life stop making sense?"
Connor shrugged and said. "Probably when we started using dollars."
"Did you really just make that fucking joke?"
"Yeah I did. What ya gonna do about it?"
Jared just shook his head and started towards Mothra. Connor quickly flew up and created a boxing glove construct and punched at Mothra who rolled out of the way. Jared flew up and threw his hammer at it hitting Mothra square in the side. Mothra's antenna began to glow before unleashing a beam of energy, Connor and Jared managed to dodge, but the building behind them wasn't so lucky. As it fell to the ground Connor grabbed the building and threw it at Mothra piercing its chest. As Mothra began to flutter toward the ground it fired another beam of energy striking Connor full force, Jared spun his hammer and summoned lightning from the skies with a furious yell. Mothra fell toward the ground burnt to a crisp.
Jared flew down and picked up Connor, checking his pulse, which was faint, he flew as fast as he could towards Canterlot. A boom echoed through the air as he broke the sound barrier.
I looked out of the tower balcony connected to Celestia's room, I was watching over her as she recovered. I looked out and saw, in the distance, a faint speck shone in the sunlight. Pulling out a pair of binoculars I saw Jared carrying Connor who was unconscious....or dead. The thought chilled me to the bone. Jared soon landed, I checked Connor's pulse he was nearly dead if his pulse was anything to go by. I pulled out a small cup and brought it to Connor's lips, he breathed out, a sickly green mist flowed out Connor instant began to look better. I debated what to do with the mist, if I left it in the cup it would start spilling over and everyone would soon be reduced to the state Connor was in right now. If I didn't drink it everyone would be seriously injured, on the other hand, I wouldn't be able to heal myself. I would need a doctor. Making up my mind I swallowed the mist and instantly brought to my knees as the poison began its work. Connor and Jared called out in surprise as I fell to my knees I told them what must be done. "Guys get me to a hospital, or so help me God I will haunt your asses until the end of time."
After falling unconscious, I was rushed to the hospital by Connor and Jared with Celestia and Luna following close behind. The events that next transpire were told to me after I got better. The four of them rushed into the hospital with my body several ponies bowed towards them as they entered before they saw me and immediately placing me on a gurney and rushing me towards the ER. After several hours of surgery, in which I had still not awoken, I was placed into a bed and kept under close watch.
Connor looked out the window and sighed. "What are we gonna do? If he dies I don't know if we'll be able to save Equestria."
Jared narrowed his eyes at Connor. "He'll be fine, trust me. Death isn't something that'll stop him from hanging out with horses."
Celestia grew offended at that remark. "And who exactly are you calling 'horses'? Because I only see two alicorns and three humans."
Jared scoffed. "I don't have to explain myself to you. I'm going to get some coffee, I feel like we're gonna be here a while." Jared walked out and headed down the hall, taking a left he saw the exact same waiting room you see in every hospital scene in movies, like the exact same right down to the stallion smoking a cigarette in a chair. Jared walked over and made a couple cups of coffee for everyone, he shivered as a slight chill ran through his body. Dismissing it as a faulty AC he began the walk back towards the room, every couple of feet he would shiver. " Jesus Christ. Who the fuck is in control of the AC around here." He finished his walk to the room.
Luna looked up from her magazine and smiled. " Thank you warrior." Taking a long drink she smiled and exhaled. "Aaaaah. I do love coffee."
Connor scowled at the coffee. "Ugh. This tastes like tar."
Celestia smiled in agreeance with Connor. "I concur with your eloquent depiction of this coffees taste."
Everyone then shivered as a freezing wind blew threw the room. Jared scowled in anger. "GODDAMMIT! What the FUCK is wrong with the AC?" Luna looked out the window and was dumbfounded. Outside was Canterlot being assaulted by a blizzard and in the middle of the blizzard stood a pony who's skin was drawn taut against it's skull, it's eyes were a frosty blue that pierced through the fog of snow. Jared walked over to see what was happening. "Holy shit. It's Glacius."
Luna's eyebrows furrowed "Who is 'Glacius'?"
Connor walked over. "Glacius is the spirit of Winter. Don't worry though he's only dangerous when someone is near death. As he wants to create more of his kind."
"So he's only dangerous to the near dead?" Luna asked.
"Yes. Why?"
Luna merely pointed at my unconscious body. Everyone paled in realization. Celestia's eye's were alit with fury at the thought of Glacius attacking me. Her mane caught aflame as she summoned her sword which instantly warmed the room significantly. She teleported outside into the storm and began the slow walk towards Glacius. Luna looked to Connor and Jared. "Stay here and protect him. I will assist Celestia in the battle." Luna summoned her weapon, a large ranseur curved like the crescent moon. She quickly teleported next to Celestia and created a glimmering shield to protect them from the ice being thrown at them by Glacius. Celestia summoned a ball of fire and threw it at Glacius who threw up a wall of ice. Luna teleported behind Glacius and swiped at him drawing blood of the deepest blue. Celestia quickly leapt at him and brought her blade down on his neck severing his head. Luna looked down at her coat which was quickly being overtaken by ice, she struggled to free herself before Celestia could wrap her great wings around her. Luna instantly began to grow warm in her sister's embrace.
The two of them quickly teleported into the hospital. Startling Connor and Jared, who had positioned themselves around me. My eyes were assaulted by blinding light as I awoke from my slumber, looking around I saw everyone standing around me arrayed with different weapons. Smiling I looked up and said. "Well, well, well looks like someone beat Glacius. Eh?" I pointed at the Element of Magic on Celestia's head. She looked up in surprise and smiled. I got out of bed and cracked my back. "Does anyone else feel a draft?"
