In her normal life, Fluttershy would hate doing this Not the real Fluttershy
She loved it. The feeling of being on stage and preforming was exhilarating
Playing the guitar with hooves is easier than you would expect. Fluttershy was a natural. She still was good with animals, but she loved to preform.
On the final chord, Fluttershy was finished. She had Vinyl Scratch with her, in charge of some lyrics and the techno side of her music. But the vocals and the the guitar were played by her. Neon Lights helped Vinyl as well, but he didn't go on stage with her.
Fluttershy looked down at the crowd, still panting a little bit. She was tired.
"Did you guys enjoy it??" Fluttershy screamed. She is a lot louder than you think The crowd roared in response
"I said.. DID YOU GUYS ENJOY THISS?" Fluttershy pumped her hoof. The crowd roared louder. "GOODNIGGHHHT!" Fluttershy did one last chord, and walked off stage with Vinyl.
Vinyl wiped her brow and said "You sure your friends shouldn't know, Shy?" "Don't worry bout it, Vi. It'll be fine." Fluttershy sat down. It was an amazing concert. "Oh my.. i'm late! I need to hurry up and get back to Ponyville!" Fluttershy ran where the train was. She didn't have time to take the bus. "Wait, Shy!!" Vinyl ran after Fluttershy
"Yeah, Vinyl?" Fluttershy turned around "What did you tell your friends about where you're going?" "I told them every now and then I have to go to an animal shelter to work there with the animals." Fluttershy said very quicky. "Now I gotta go!!" Fluttershy stormed off.
"I'm late i'm late i'm late!" She said that over and over again as she ran for the train
She ran into the train just in time to head back to Ponyville.
"Phew! I almost missed the train!" Fluttershy sighed and put her guitar down. It had been a tiring day. She looked out the window of the train and slowly went off to sleep.
"Hey kid. Wake up. It's the last stop. Get up."
"Huh.." Fluttershy sat up.
"I didn't see you. We're not in Ponyville."
Fluttershy bolted up. "WHAT?! WHERE ARE WE?!" "We're back where ya started. You fell asleep." She quickly checked the time. She was running late. It was Twilight's birthday party today.
"How long until we get to Ponyville again!?" Fluttershy said. "About an hour." The conductor gave Fluttershy a gaze. "Why are you in such a hurry?"
"A special occasion." Fluttershy said. She was very worried. "I'll try to go a little bit fast, but not too fast, alright?"
It had been 45 minutes, and Fluttershy was back in Ponyville. She quickly ran up to Twilight's library where the surprise party was held.
She opened the door. "SUPRIISEEE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TWILIGHT!" Everypony yelled. It was only Fluttershy at the door though.
Pinkie Pie looked at Fluttershy eagerly. "Fluttershy its only you! Cmon and get inside, we're waiting for Twilight!" Rainbow Dash gave her an odd look. "Wait a second, Fluttershy. Why do you have that guitar with you?"
Uh oh
"Uhhh.. well.. you see.." Fluttershy started Pinkie pie bolted up. "HURRY EVERYPONY SHE'S COMING!" Everypony hid.
Thank Celestia, I was nearly caught, Fluttershy thought.
Twilight opened the door.
"SURPRISE!!!" Everypony yelled ...
Pinkie pie jumped up "Suprise!" "Shoot!"
They continued on with the party and went on home. Fluttershy was nearly caught with her guitar, and she'd have to explain. She's safe.. For now.
It was time for another concert. She got a call from Vinyl saying this one was a very important one Apparently there are going to be more ponies than ever. Fluttershy was pumped
She got her guitar, and got ready to head out.
She felt a little bit guilty. Why didn't she ever tell her friends? If they were her friends they would accept her. Maybe she should tell them...
"Miss Shy, its time for you to preform, Good luck."
Fluttershy snapped back to reality. "Thank you."
Fluttershy got Vinyl and told her its time. "You alright, Shy?" Vinyl looked at Fluttershy a bit worryingly "Just got a lot on my mind, don't worry." Fluttershy said reassuringly.
Fluttershy and Vinyl went out on stage, and Vinyl was right, the crowd was ENORMOUS. The roar of the crowd was amazing once they stepped out on stage.
"Ready, Vi?" "Ready, Shy."
They started. The audience definitely enjoyed them. The feedback from them was loud.
Fluttershy finished the song with a final "YEAH!" and one last chord.
The roar of the crowd was louder than ever, and Fluttershy loved it.
Fluttershy got her guitar and went off stage, and looking at Vinyl she started talking about how amazing it was.
"Ahem."
Fluttershy looked in front of her to see Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Applejack, Twilight, and Pinkie Pie all standing in front of her.
Oh no... no no no...not now...
Rainbow stepped up. "That.. was..."
Oh gosh no..
"TOTALLY AWESOME!!" Rainbow finished.
huh..?
Pinkie Pie stepped up next "Yeah, Fluttershy! You were awesome out there! You were like.. WAMM and ZIIING on your guitar and singing so awesomely .. and.. and.." Applejack finished Pinkie's statement. "...You were amazing, sugar cube."
"But.." Twilight started. "Why didn't you tell us, Fluttershy?"
Fluttershy looked at the ground a bit. "I don't know.. I just.. I didn't know what you guys were going to say... and.."
They all came together and hugged. Twilight stepped out and said "Don't worry, Fluttershy. We'll always love you, just the way you are."
Vinyl looked at them and smile. "Now that's true friends."
