"Now, my little dragon, I will tell you the story that many have heard, but none have forgotten."

I was sitting around, doing nothing. It was just Vakim and I, lazing around, and doing nothing. We weren't in a relationship yet. We were just really good friends. Luna and I had only been in Veros for a few days, so I guess that would be expected, though she herself seemed to take a liking to me. I, of course, felt the same. My guess was that the only reason we weren't in a relationship was because we didn't know how to go about saying our feelings. To be honest, when I was with her, I felt like just getting on one knee and asking her to be my wife, she was that potent. She was the only dragon I had met that was my age. I had met young dragons before, but they were all older than me and they were...not as understanding with my backgrounds as Vakim was. When we first met, it was really awkward. From what she had said, she was considered ugly. I didn't know how to deal with that, as she further explained that, apperently, a dragon's beauty is measure by how terrifying they look. Long story short, she was more enticing than intimidating, so she was labeled as unfit to be a mate. It seemed like when I had told her she was beautiful, it was the first time anyone had said it to her. Her parents might have said it out of pity, but I was the first stranger to show kindness to her in terms of courtship. At the moment, however, it didn't seem like courtship.

It was later on in the day that Luna had come to where we were. She seemed urgent about talking to us, or me to be realistic.

"Hey Luna. What's wrong?"

"Spike, we need to go." At that point, I was a little hurt. Vakim's parents had given us a place to stay, food to eat...kinda, and had given us protection from the other dragons. Why would we need to leave.

"Uh, Luna? No disrespect, but where in the name Tartarus would we go?"

"To the time where we belong."

"Luna, you're joking. Do you know what will happen if we go to the past? We will be killed! You might just get banished again, but if I go back, my head is guaranteed to be on a platter. I don't know about you, but I like it here. I get to hang out with this wonderful dragon everyday. I get to be my own dragon here. Why go back to that hell of place I once called home?"

"Because we need to revive the Elements of Harmony."

"Them? They will kill me if we bring them back, if Celestia and her mighty magic hasn't done so already. Maybe not the others, as they were just mad that I killed Twilight, but Twilight herself will lose her shit. I practically soiled her name in front of everypony, not to mention her friends. I am sure you can do this on your own, so I must say no."

"Spike, your friend can come to."

"Ok let's roll." I was ready to go. That is until Vakim spoke up.

"Wait. Don't I get a say in this?"

"Of course. We wouldn't be the princess we are if we didn't allow equality. What troubles you?"

"My parents. They might say no. In fact, they will say no."

"Not if I can help it. Wait here."

"Spike, wait." I was already gone before she could stop me. When I had returned a few minutes later, their eyes were filled with concern. Vakim was first to speak.

"Spike, what happened? What'd they say? Are you ok?"

"I'm fine. They said you could go."

"Really? How'd you convince them to let me go?"

"I told them I'd marry you." After she blushed maliciously, we packed into the TARDIS to begin what was, for me, an adventure to remember.

We were all huddled inside TARDIS, just wondering how we were going to make it work like last time. It seemed to have a mind of it's own, so talking to it might get it to work. "Umm, TARDIS? We would like to go back to the time we were in a few days ago. Please...do that, I guess." Nothing happened. "Please?" When the thing in the center of the TARDIS started moving, I was really starting to believe I would never understand Time Lord logic. "Yes! Thank you, TARDIS!" Luna and I knew what to do by holding the bar near the center. Vakim, however, only knew to hold onto me. Both our blushes ensued, as did Luna's affectionate smile. "Shut up, Luna."

We eventually stopped, which was both good and bad. It was good because I could then begin to regain feeling in my arm, but it was bad, as the loving grasp was now over. Such is the irony, but anyway. When everything was settled and done, it was Vakim that decided to break the calm.

"It's done? All done. No more weird movement or noises, right?"

"Well for now."

"Okay, good. Well, if you guys don't mind, I'm to go out and loo..." She didnt finish because as she went to open the door...it opened for her. The big catch was it came with somepony, or in this case, somebody with it.

"Oh. Ello. Who's this lovely young lady, as if I didn't already know?"

"Doctor? What are you doing in Canterlot? Where are the humans? Actually, a simple question would be...WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?!" I was very confused by the sudden apperance of the Doctor, but what happen next both confused me, and...terrified me more than I could ever describe.

"You, my former subject, will clean up your mess or you will be executed." My confusion only ensued, as Luna confused us all.

"Yes. That is why we are here, sister. Spike, his friend who shall be called Vakim, and I will be setting to fix Spike's "mistake."

I said what was only possible at that moment. "Meep."

"Ok. Confused dragon here. Lemme process this. Celestia, you aren't trying to absolutely strangle me right now."

"Correct. It may not be known to you, but two years have passed since you left here. In this time, I was able to obtain guidance from both the Doctor and the other humans, especially from one who's name I believe is Nicole. It would seem that human knows as much, if not more, about me than I do. Through her counsel, I have been able to calm myself from my previous anger. However, should you fail to complete your task, I will not hesitate to have you killed. You have not only offended me, but you have destroyed one of Equestria's strongest defenses. The Elements of Harmony were our greatest tools in fending off evil. Discord has been good enough to fight of any threats we might have had, but he would not have had to do so if you had controlled yourself. You will fix this. I will make sure of that."

"I normally would argue that, but it can wait till later. Right now, I still wanna get right in my head. Luna, you just referred to yourself in the first person."

"Indeed. I believe we can all change in these progressive times. That phase of my life is over. I think I can speak how I wish, so I will do so."

"Ok. One last thing still has me confused. Doctor, how did you know we would come to this exact spot?"

"Well, if you remember correctly, I told you that I have seen these events unfold. I saw them from afar, but I saw them all the same. In fact, you told them to me. In the future, we meet for the first time, or at least in my memory we do, and that's when you told me everything. Why do you think I went along with your rebellion in the first place?"

"Wait. You know how everything is going to go down? Then tell me what to do. Help me fix everything."

"Oh, my little dragon. If I could do that, believe me, I would, but I can't. It is a fixed point in time that you have to do this on your own. I can't change a fixed event. It would create a paradox and would destroy the universe, and I couldn't do that to the universe."

"Fine. I'll do this on my own...with Vakim's help."

Celestia didn't seem happy with that. "No. The female dragon is going to go back to..."

The Doctor stopped her mid-rant. "Princess, I implore you to allow her to go with Spike. It would not be good to upset what is to occur. Spike is accompanied by Vakim in his journeys; I suggest we keep it that way."

Celestia had to think on this one. I knew she wasn't happy being told what to do, but I also knew she was open to suggestions from those who knew what they were talking about.

"Fine, but if he fails, I will hold you responsible."

"Of course. Spike, before you leave, there is one thing I want to teach you."

"What's that?"

"I want to teach you how to fly the TARDIS."

After all that time wondering how I would learn how to fly that piece of Time Lord technology, all I could say was, "Well, it's about time!"

"Do you remember what I have taught you, Spike? It is crucial that you know this stuff." The Doctor had been teaching me about how to fly this "absolutely fantastic" thing for over 7 hours. He even went over everything 5 times. I was starting to get annoyed, but then I remembered what was at stake if I messed this up. I would rather go over TARDIS Flight 101 than become a pile of ash by Celestia's own two hooves.

"Yes,Doctor; I remember every single motion and technique you have taught me. Can I get the information I need from Celestia so I can get this over with?"

"Alright then, Mr. Rude. If you feel so confidant about your knowledge take me to London in the year of 2007."

"Wait. You mean Trottingham?"

"No, London. The human world's Trottingham. Actually, I would like to go to Bergen. The TARDIS is now able to travel freely between this world and Earth due to the fact that it had done so twice before. I will give you the coordinates, and you will take me there. Ok?" I couldn't help but think he had a specific reason for going to Bergen, or whatever he called it, but I wasn't going to question it.

"Ok. What are the coordinates?"

"They are Terrae Anno Di-mil Sette 60°23'22"N 5°19'48"E and take it 50 miles West and 40 feet in the air."

"Got it." I ran around the console of the TARDIS, inputting dates and times and coordinates, till I got a specific place. "Would the place we're going happen to be called Bad Wolf Bay?" I was expecting an immediate response, but it didn't come, so I went over to the Doctor to ask him. "Doctor, is the place we are going called Bad Wolf Bay?"

He turned around with a somber look on his face. I've never seen him so serious. "Yes, Spike. We are going to Bad Wolf Bay. I've wanted to visit it for a long time, and now that the TARDIS can travel between dimensions, I think that I would like to visit it again."

"Whatever you want, Doctor." Ok. So he did have a motive for going to this Bad Wolf Bay, but why? I guess I would find out when we got there. I went back to putting in what needed to be done and finally pulling down the switch that confirmed the coordinates. Everything was going smooth...until the console started sparking.

"Oh no no no! Come on, ol' girl. Take us to Bad Wolf Bay." No response from the TARDIS; only silence. "Come on! I want to see her again! Just let me see her one last time! Please!" Tears were running down his face. "I need to tell her I love her. Just let me at least have that satisfaction." He paused to whimper and sniffle. "Please."

I didn't know why he was talking to the TARDIS, but it seemed to be alive in a sense, so I thought I would give it a try. "TARDIS, can you please take us to Bad Wolf Bay? I don't know who the Doctor wants to see, but could you please let him have this one last time to see her? Please? I'm sure he must love her. I know what it feels to be in love, and he is showing all the signs of loving her. Please let him at least have closure." I don't know how even to this day, but it seemed as if the TARDIS heard me, because it started whirring again. The Doctor came up behind me, tapped my shoulder and as soon as I turned around, I was greeted with a bear hug.

"Thank you so much, Spike. I will always cherish this."

"No problem,Doctor. You're saving my ass from Celestia; it's the least I can do." We waited until the TARDIS stopped whirring, at which time I opened the door to see another Doctor on the ground and a...woman. Well, not really a woman, but an young adult, maybe of about 21 years of age. From what I could see, they were both crying. The Doctor in the TARDIS came next to me, putting his hand on my shoulder as he did.

"That's me five years ago. And this was one of the worst days of my life."

"Wait, then why would you want to visit this place and time, then?"

"Because there is something I need to tell that girl down there."

"What's her name, Doctor?"

"Her name is Rose. Rose Tyler."

"What is it that you need to tell her?"

"I need to tell her that I love her. Get the TARDIS ready to descend. Straight down."

"Doctor, that'll hit Rose."

"No it won't hit her; just get right behind her."

"Oh, ok. Can do." I went back to the console and changed the coordinates by taking out the elevation change, which would bring it to ground level; right where the Doctor wanted it. We began to descend. Once we touched the ground, the Doctor opened the doors to reveal a sandy beach and Rose Tyler staring at us awkwardly. The Doctor ran out to meet her, me following quickly behind.

"Doctor?"

"Hello, Rose."

"You just said that you couldn't reach me because the portal between our dimensions weren't able to intersect."

"Well, you know me. Master of the impossible."

She laughed. "Yeah. I guess you ah..." She went down to a whisper, but I could still hear her. "Doctor, what is that?"

"That is my companion, Spike."

"Ok, but WHAT is that?" I decided to answer for him.

"I am a dragon, thank you very much, Mrs. Rose Tyler."

"Doctor, how does...Spike, right?" I nodded. "How does Spike know my name?"

"How else? Me."

"So you told him my name?"

I couldn't help but push the envelope."Oh, that's not all he told me. Tell her, Doctor. Tell her what you came here to tell her."

"Oh, right. Rose Tyler, I love you."

"Oh, Doctor." The kiss between them was expected. The length, however, was unexpected. It was a long and drawn out kiss, and I would have let it continue, but then more humans were coming towards us, and I didn't want to receive a similar greeting.

"Uh, Doctor? We have three humans incoming, two light tan and one brown."

"Oh. Well, I guess this is where we say goodbye.

"Are you kidding me? This is where I say, "Let's go!"

"Wait, what?"

"Doctor, I was separated from you once. Now that you're here, I won't be separated from you again."

"But, Rose... what about your family here and Mickey? Don't you think they'll..."

"They'll be fine. But you wont be without me, and I'm not going anywhere without you, so you're stuck with me. Deal with it." She finished with a smirk. Opposite to what I would expect, he shared the same smirk.

"Alright then. Let's go, Spike!"

"Can do, Doctor!"

Rose looked behind us. "Goodbye, you guys! I love you, Mum!" All three of us ran into the TARDIS, the Doctor and I immediately setting a course for Canterlot. Rose, being an inquisitive human, began to ask questions and we worked.

"Ok. So now that I'm here again, I should probably get used to the Doctor's companions besides myself. Your name was Spike and you know my name is Rose."

"Correct."

"You're a dragon and you know I am a human."

"Correct again."

"Do you know what the Doctor is?"

"A Time Lord. Well, the last Time Lord,"

"Ok. So we have the main info. Now for the more basic things. Where might you be from?"

"My origins or where I was raised?"

"I guess where you were raised. Wouldn't they be the same, though?"

"Ha. That's a laugh. I was raised in two places actually. I spent my early child in Canterlot, but up until about 2 weeks ago, I was raised in a town called Ponyville."

"Ponyville? Are you serious?" She laughed for a bit. "That is an adorable name for a city."

"You think the name is funny?" I flipped the final throttle. "Wait until you see what lives there." She didn't say anything else, so we went the few seconds in silence, until the whirring in the center of the TARDIS stopped. "Well, here we are in Canterlot. I think. Doctor, if i may open the door for the lady?" I winked my eye at him, asking to have the honors of showing her what was outside the doors.

He acknowledged this by saying, "Go right ahead."

I ran towards the doors as fast as I could. "Milady." I opened the doors in front of her, only to see her face go from smug to absolutely blown away. She took one step outside the TARDIS just so she could see all of what was there. We were in fact in Canterlot Castle, but we were a little off in our placing and we landed in the throne room instead of the main hall, so Rose was getting the view of the stained glass murals of all of the events that have occured.

"This is amazing, Spike! I didn't know your world was so rustic."

"What? Rustic? These murals are hardly two years old."

"Really? What year is it here?"

"1273"

"Oh. That's probably why." She was still taking in all of the "glorious view", when Celestia, Luna, and Vakim came into the throne room. Celestia was first to speak.

"Great. Another human. So, Doctor, is Spike ready to complete his task."

"Actually, Princess Celestia, I will be accompaning our little friend."

"But you yourself told him that you can't help him."

"True, I can not help him make the decisions he needs to make, but I can help him have to the opportunities to make those decisions."

"Fine. Are you ready for departure?"

"Yes, I think we are ready. What do we need to do first."

"Ok. The first task you need to complete is..."

"That's a horse."

"Excuse me?"

"You're a horse with wings and a horn. And you talk."

I couldn't help but laugh. "See what I meant, Rose?"

I'm back...

...and better than ever!" Rose exclaimed. "It's been a while since I've been in this old box. So, Doctor, you never told me. What's happened to you since we were last together?"

"Well, after we were separated, the TARDIS got all wonky, and started doing all sorts of mess, and all I could do is watch because, slowly, my legs were changing, then my arms, and my face, and the next thing I knew, I had hooves! It was a little bit like regenerating, but without the flash and the other stuff that goes with it. I still don't know even now how it was that I was able to get to be in such a state, but I am back to normal now, so it doesn't matter. Anyway, after I landed, I walked to the best of my ability towards the doors, which upon reaching I opened with some difficulty. I could hardly believe what I was seeing. It was beautiful. Everything was vibrant and colorful. It was like being in a lucid dream. I honestly for a second thought I was dreaming, until I tried rudimentary methods of finding if one is asleep, and, as it turned out, I was not dreaming. I didn't know where to go or what to do, but I wondered around to see if i could find help. I came upon a cave that had a family of drago... homeless ponies and after explaining myself, they told me what to do to become a citizen. I followed their instructions and within three days, I was Ponyville's time manager, as in I managed things that dealt with time. Fitting really."

I caught his little slip up. "Doctor, were you about o say drag..."

"Well, Doctor. Now that I am here, what are we going to do now?" Rose cut in right before I had finished. I decided to let it slide.

Vakim spoke for me. "Well, for starters, we are going to save my boyfriend's ass. After that, it's up to you. I'm just here to make sure this guy has company of his own...type."

"Aww. Are you two a couple? I didn't know dragons could be in love."

"Um. How do you think we lay eggs?"

"Well your ancestors could have just ra...never mind." The Doctor had signaled her to stop, as he and I both knew where she was going with that. Sick really.

"Ooook? Well, Doctor, Spike; where are we going first? The faster we get this done, the faster me and Spike can go back to relaxing.

"I have an idea as to where we should go, but only you two will know if it the right place."

"How so?"

"It's simple. The Dragonflower is the flower that symbolizes the love between dragons. Since you two are lovestuck dragons, you will be able to feel it's presence. There is only two, as these flowers have an extremely slow breeding rate, but if it nearby, you two will be able to feel it."

"That's wonderful, but you haven't answered my question, Doctor. Where are we going?"

"According to this map Celestia gave me, we are going to...Ok, how do you pronounce this? Spike, could you read this?"

"Sure." He showed me where it we were going. I couldn't believe it. I asked him if he was positive that that was the right place, and he confirmed it. "We're going to Regni Vitrum."

Rose was the first to speak. "In English?"

"The Crystal Empire. Hope Cadance hasn't heard yet."
