A quest to save equestria from a dark aura by 3 idiots, idiots who have no idea what they're doing
Ink Drip & Bullet Casing have always worked with their friend Cut n Edit, but when planing for his next big block buster becomes more reality than a movie these 3 unlikely hero's must find and fight some pony or some thing from Ink Drip's past that he would rather leave a secret.
Prologue The following is the beginning of a war that would make itself present in equestria's history. A war between 2 of the same aura, though one of the 2 aura goes dark, our fair princess knows not which aura will go out the light or the dark. We do know however that each side has a large army one consisting of changelings, nightmares and mutations and the other of pegasi, unicorns, and earth ponies no doubt leading to either a future of prosperity or a future of desolate wasteland.
Chapter 1: a night on the town The moon was illuminating ponyville, everypony appeared to be in bed asleep except for those in the berry punch bar, where you could get drunk off your ass or simply plan what to do for the night, and in the case of 3 ponies their adventure was beginning. "I just don't see what the logic is in this plan you have edit, what exactly are the finer points of it again?" Ink drip said as he took a swig of his Lunar vision. "He's planning on adding more explosions to it this time right?" Bullet Casing replied polishing off his 6th applejack Daniels. "No, and what I'm planning on is trying for a more romantic comedy, and nothing says romance like sweets," answered cut n edit, drinking yet another banana nutcase, "so i plan to break into sugar cube corner tonight, and I need you two to do it." Inkdrip looked upon cut n edit with a look of awe and concern, bullet casing could care less what he did and stumbled to the floor in a fit of drunkeness. Cut n edit pointed at inkdrip, "I need you because you know ponyville like the back of your hoof and can lead me straight to sugar cube corner," then he pointed at bulletcasing, "and you are enough of a nutjob to blow the door to smithereens so we can get inside." Ink drip was the first to respond, "why exactly do we need to break in to sugarcube corner?" Cut n edit thought for a second and said, "well I'll be honest it's 1 in the morning and I don't believe their business hours include that." "Well shouldn't we at least wait for bullet casing to sober up?" "Hey, I'm not as think as you drunk, now lets go." The three stumbled out of the bar cut n edit being the first to ask, "so where is sugarcube corner anyways?" Ink drip got a smirk upon his face and replied, "it's all the way across town," "But that's way too far, why can't it be right there?" Cut n edit pointed to a random house, "Why do you care you need to do this for your movie, right?" "Yeah," edit replied, feeling defeated, "And you need to make this movie to feed yourself right?" "Not entirely, but yes." "Then shut up and let's go," "But it's too far," "Just stop whining," "I'm not whining though," he replied in a whiny tone. "Yes you are," "I know," then the trio set off on their epic journey, to the other side of town, bumping into the night life of ponyville on the way, including berry punch who was stumbling worse than bullet casing, she reached the trio, and promptly vomited, "hey guys how's it going." Slurred berry punch fighting not to fall into her own pile of vomit, "you seen my bar lately? I seem to have misplaced it." "Yeah...it's over there..." Replied ink drip, pointing in the direction that they had just come from, "Thanks," giggled berry punch as she stumbled past and fell about 3 meters from them, "Now...she;" bullet casing began pointing to the pony who fell to the ground, "is one hell of a partier," "Wow you really are drunk, aren't you?" Imposed ink drip, staring blankly at bullet casing, "No I...y-yeah" replied bullet casing stumbling and nearly falling. The trio continued their journey eventually reaching sugarcube corner. "So how are we going to get in," said cut n edit turning to bullet casing. "C-4 yourself," replied bullet casing pulling out a mysterious metal object which he proceeded to press the big shiny red button on top. Next a defending explosion lit up the skies of ponyville, probably waking up about half of the town at once. "That didn't blow up the door," said cut n edit confused "What did you.." Ink drip trailed off as he surveyed the area only to find in shock, "THAT WAS MY HOUSE!" He leapt at bullet casing hoping to gouge his eyes out. Then cut n edit got an idea, "guys why don't we just knock on the door?" He said knocking on the door, after a few seconds the door promptly flung open to the one pony in ponyville not at the bar to be up at 1 in the morning, and damn cheery about it too, "hello bullet casing, hello ink drip, hello pony I do not know," sang the pink pony awake and ready for action.
"Solikeiwastalkingtoyouaboutireallythinkthatthecupcakesaremyfavoriteofthesweetsbecausethecakesaretoobigandcookiesaretoosmall," the pink pony gasped for air then continued on, cut n edit listening intently waiting for his chance for a rebuttal. Meanwhile the other two were busy chatting it up themselves, " we've been here since one in the morning and they're still talking," ink drip complained, "Would you like me to blow them up sir?" "Yep, you've even sobered up in the time it's taken them." He glanced at his watch lowering it with a sigh, "it's almost noon, I could've been working on some brilliant paintings." They headed outside, dragging edit along with them, him screaming that his conversation with pinkie was meaningful, "you've been talking with her for the past 20 minutes about the food in the shop how is that meaningful?" Ink drip gazed at his watch again, "besides I've got paintings that I need to get to," when they finally dragged the screaming stallion from the shop, rainbow dash flew over head, "Oh, hey bullet casing!" The blue speedster yelled out, to which ink drip screamed, "For the love of celestia am I going to get anything done today?" To the surprise of the now 5 ponies, pinkie had come out to say hello to Dash, an explosion went off in the middle of town, and a branch from twilight's library slammed in front of them, "and the answer is nothing, I'm going to get nothing done today..." The air was then filled with a scream of terror, "what in the world is tha-" ink drip was cut off by a dragon slamming into him. A purple pony now ran up with a worried look on her face, "Has anyone seen spike around?" Ink drip raised a hoof, "I...I've, I've seen him" the hoof fell to the ground as now pinkie's and rainbow dash's hoofs took it's place as they both sounded off, "hi twilight," casing and edit looked at the two and replied in one voice, "You know her?" * * * "It's obvious that ponyville is in mortal danger yet again, and this time, oddly enough, we're under attack from canterlot." Twilight had rallied 3 other ponies now adding up to 6, along with casing, edit, and ink drip, who seemed a bit out of place, regardless twilight went on turning to ink drip, "me and my friends are going to canterlot, you will not be going because princess celestia has sent me a note requesting against your arrival, try and keep ponyville safe and sound while we're gone," Twilight seemed finished but she left out one thing, "And if you don't return?" Ink drip had to ask, "If we don't return then you must go to canterlot," she gripped his face, somehow not falling, "but; you need to be sure that we're not coming back." And with that they left on the last train in or out of canterlot, cut n edit began to walk after it, "Well, I know where were going," ink drop grabbed him, "No we're not following them, we're staying right here," and as if on cue an explosion rattled the sky, "screw it, we're following them," and with that they we're on their way, not knowing of the danger that was surely ahead of them, cut n edit had to ask, "So why was it that celestia didn't want you going?"
Hello this is the creators of this wonderful story you're reading. It has come to our attention that we have not described our oc's at all so we shall now do so. The first we will describe is cut n edit, earth pony and a famous film maker in equestria who doesn't really live in any particular place... Kinda like a certain horned boasters wagon, but we won't talk about her now, soon we'll see her. Anyways cut n edit is red with a purple mane and a fez , his cutie mark is a camera, since he is a film maker and that is his special talent. Cut n edit is a bit crazy, he doesn't really think things through and his friendship with pinkie pie will prove to be a Giant plot point. Second up we have ink drip a unicorn who is the leader of the trio he's a famous artist, well not yet, but he acts like one, he usually does the backdrops for cut n edit's movies. He's brown with a green mane and a golfers hat. He usually is the one to doubt the plans of cut n edit getting ignored, and thinks thing through a great amount, mess with his art and die. Finally, we have bullet casing, a pegasi who would rather see the world go up in flames than have his dream of becoming a royal equestrian Air Force member realized. (Yes we know they're called the wonderbolts but he doesn't like that name) he usually deals with the special affects in the movies and has an itchy trigger finger...and bombing finger, and shiny red buttons that blow things up finger. When he isn't booing things up, or shooting things he's usually getting drunk off his ass, thankfully for the other two he's usually focused...on blowing things up.
