The girls learn to deal with the loss of one of their friends. Except for some ponies who just can't accept it.
The ponies deal with the fact that one of their close friends had died. As we look through each character's eyes, we see how much Rainbow Dash had meant to all of them. Especially Scootaloo.
It all had happened so fast. No pony would've saw it coming. It was a typical morning, the sun was shining, everyone was up and ready to start their day.
Twilight Sparkle was just finished writing a letter to Princess Celestia.
"Alright Spike, now that that's finished, let's go see Rainbow Dash, she said she needed all of us to come and see her new moves." Spike nodded, sent the letter and went with Twilight to go see Rainbow Dash.
Applejack was just about finished with her work at Sweet Apple Acres and was about to go see Rainbow Dash. As she was getting ready to leave, Apple Bloom came up to her.
"Ooh, ooh! Sis, can Ah come with ya to go see Rainbow Dash's moves? Pleaseeee??" Applejack just couldn't say no to that adorable little filly.
"Oh, alright Apple Bloom."
Rarity was just finished designing some clothes, she was on her way to go see Rainbow Dash as well.
"Sweetie Belle, let's go! We don't want to be late!"
Sweetie Belle, now happy that her sister is able to spend more time with her, came up to her with a huge smile on her face.
"Ready!" She said, and then they left.
"I have to go now Angel, you be good, I'll be back soon, okay?" Fluttershy said to her bunny, Angel just nodded and Fluttershy left, thinking what Rainbow Dash has learned this time.
And lastly, Pinkie Pie was just finished at Sugar Cube Corner, and now she was ready to see her best friend, Rainbow Dash, perform her new cool trick. She was super excited, she hopped her way to go see her.
"OOH!!! I'm soooo super-cited!! I can't wait to see what Dashie has to do this time, I'm so excited I might burst!!"
Every pony was there finally, even Scootaloo had shown up to see what her role model, Rainbow Dash, would be performing today.
"Look! There's Rainbow Dash coming up right now!" Twilight said. Every pony looked in the direction she pointed at, it was Rainbow Dash, coming in, fast as can be.
"Oh my, Ah've never seen a pony go by so fast." Applejack said in awe, Rainbow Dash then slowed down to catch up.
"Hey guys, you made it! I can't wait to show you these awesome new moves, Just watch!" Every pony watched as Rainbow Dash backed up. Every pony watched, waiting to see what she would do. Then, Rainbow Dash shot herself into the air, going as high as can be, to the point where no pony could see her no more.
"Go Rainbow Dash!" Every pony cheered, soon they saw her again.
"Here she comes!" Twilight exclaimed. Rainbow Dash was coming down so fast, you could even see some flames when she was coming down.
"She's not slowing down!" Scootaloo yelled, every pony moved out of the way, as their friend hurtled to them.
"Rainbow Dash!!" Everyone yelled, Twilight tried to use her magic but it was already too late, Rainbow Dash hit the ground, hard. It caused a crater in the ground, everyone came over to see if she was alright. They looked in the crater
"Rainbow Dash?" Applejack asked. She laid there, she was bleeding everywhere. Her wings were all messed up, her hooves were all broken.
"Stay back fillies." Twilight said to the Crusaders. Scootaloo was on the verge of tears, every pony was. Applejack put her ear to Rainbow Dash's mouth, no breathing. She tried to move her, to get her to wake up. Suddenly, Rainbow Dash coughed.
"Rainbow!" The ponies said. Rainbow Dash had her eyes half-opened, she looked at all of them, she then looks to Scootaloo.
"Kid.. come here." Scootaloo came over to Rainbow Dash, she whispered in her ear. Scootaloo then broke down and cried. She was comforted by Applebloom and Sweetie Belle.
"Rainbow, you're going to be alright!" Twilight told her. Rainbow Dash was then going to say something but she gasped and stop.
"Rain... Rainbow?" Twilight said, trying to hold back tears. Every pony was crying now. They took Rainbow to the hospital to try to save her but it was already too late...
Every pony in Ponyville showed up to Dash's funeral, even Spitfire and Gilda showed up. When ponies asked why Gilda had shown up, since she was so mean the last time she saw Rainbow Dash, she said,
"She still meant so much to me, all I wanted last time was to spend time with an old friend, and I didn't want anyone to get in the way, but I realized that I shouldn't have acted so mean before, I messed up and now she's gone." Gilda even cried, something no pony has ever seen her done. Spitfire just mostly stayed quiet and kept her head down, mourning the loss of one of her own students, someone who has saved her before.
Even the princesses showed up, Celestia, Luna, Cadance. To all of them, Rainbow Dash played a part in their lives. She'd help saved them all, the least they could do is go to her funeral and remember her. Soon, all the girls went up to the podium and said some words about Rainbow Dash.
"Rainbow Dash was one of the most loyal friend you could have. She was always there for you, and she always cared. Even though at some times she came off as a little mean, it was only for fun... She was one of my best friends, one of the greatest ponies I'll ever meet, I'll never forget her," Twilight wiped some tears from her eyes as Applejack got up to the podium and was ready to say some words.
"R.D. was the most competitive pony Ah knew, heck, one time we raced in the Runnin' of The Leaves, it was fierce. She was an amazing gal with amazing talents, and most importantly, she was a true friend," Applejack then looked up into the sky, "We... We miss ya, Sugercube." No pony else didn't want to speak, everyone was too distraught and sad. When finally, Pinkie Pie went up and spoke. As usual when she's sad, her hair was straight and her bright, pink skin had turn darker.
"Rainbow Dash was my best friend. Nobody else can compare. We would pull pranks on each ponies and hang out and, and... I just.. I miss her so much..." At that moment, Pinkie Pie was crying, hard. All the girls got up and hugged her tight, they all started to sob.
"We all miss her, Pinkie... But we all know she's watching over us, protecting us. And no matter what, she will always be our friend." Twilight was trying to cheer Pinkie up, soon after, the burial happened. Fluttershy, Rarity, Applejack, Twilight and Pinkie all threw flowers into the grave. They all read Rainbow Dash's tombstone.
Rainbow Dash Truthful, Loyal and Awesome Friend No Pony Could Ever Compare
Every pony left to go home afterwards, no pony slept well that night.
Somewhere in a clubhouse, all by herself, was a orange Pegasus filly, crying. She was all alone.
I still didn't believe it. I didn't want to believe it. I had never had such a tragic loss in my life. I sometimes wonder how I'll get through. I wonder how any of us will get through. It's been over a month, none of us had seen each other since the funeral. One month in my library, not leaving once. For the first week, all I did was cry, I couldn't leave my bed. There was tissues everywhere, the whole library was a mess. Spike had been doing a lot for me, bringing me food, making sure I felt better, but I just can't get over that Rainbow Dash was dead. I've been thinking to move back to Canterlot, I just couldn't deal with Ponyville anymore, I'll never get over what happened here, ever.
I've heard stories from Spike, he said he saw the girls around town. Applejack was depressed, she couldn't work or eat or sleep, Spike had even said that Big Macintosh had found a noose in her drawer, luckily they threw it away and made sure she was going to be okay, soon after, Applejack left Ponyville, she just was gone one day, I guess she couldn't deal with Ponyville anymore, to this day, no pony knows where she is. The farm hadn't been the same since she left.
As for Rarity, Spike said that she had been making dresses for Rainbow Dash. Spike said that she had made over a hundred since last month, Rarity had been only making dresses for Rainbow Dash and no pony else, she's even lost all her clients and wasn't making any money, but she just goes on, making dresses. She doesn't know what to do with all of them, she keeps saying that she's waiting for Rainbow Dash to pick them up, that she'll show up soon. Rarity was also ignoring Sweetie Belle a lot, everyday Sweetie Belle just begs Rarity to stop with all the dresses, but Rarity just goes on as if she can't hear her. At one point, Sweetie Belle tried to pull her away from her dresses and Rarity smacked her. Sweetie Belle had tears in her eyes and walked out. Rarity could hear her crying silently as she walked away. Rarity then started to cry too after realizing what she had done, she destroyed everything, her dresses, her jewels, her whole boutique. She went after Sweetie Belle and found her crying outside in. She hugged Sweetie Belle tightly, both crying in each other's arms.
"Oh, Sweetie Belle,I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to hit you, I didn't know what I was doing. Could you ever forgive me?" Sweetie Belle tried to talk through her crying.
"It's okay Rarity, I-I..." Sweetie Belle just couldn't stop crying. They both couldn't, eventually they both hugged it out and walked back inside and slept in Rarity's bed together. It was the first night in a long time that Rarity slept good.
Fluttershy was the same as me, she wouldn't come out of her cottage. She won't stop crying, she just can't. Soon, all her animal friends started to leave, in the condition she was in, she couldn't take care of any of them anymore. The only one who stayed behind was Angel. After a couple of weeks, he slowly starved and died. Fluttershy then felt worse, she felt horrible. No pony had heard of her since then, she won't come out, some ponies even say she's dead but no pony knows for sure, I'll make sure to go over there as soon as I start to feel better, who knows when that'll be.
And lastly, Pinkie Pie. Out of all of us, she had been the most saddest, the most depressed and the most distraught. She hardly smiles or laughs anymore, when ponies ask why she doesn't, she says,
"What's the point? What is there in life to smile about? I lost my best friend, I'll never see her again, I'll never hear her voice again, all I have are memories, which is just cruel... I don't want to remember her.... Because if I do, it makes me remember she's never going to be here again, I'm never going to hang out with her, I'm never going to pull pranks with her, I'll never do anything with her... I just wish I could have spent more time with her. I wish we could have been more close... I wish I could have told her I loved her..." At this point, Pinkie would shed a tear and walk away back to Sugar Cube Corner. No pony ever sees her that much. None of us for that matter, Applejack is gone, Rarity is a wreck, Fluttershy is locked up, Pinkie Pie is depressed, and me? Well.. I'm all 4. I've been gone for a month, I'm a complete wreck, I've been locked up in my library and I'm depressed, so depressed. I'm thinking of leaving tomorrow, maybe.
Spike then told me he found the 3 young ponies in their clubhouse this morning. They were talking about Applejack, Rarity and Rainbow Dash.
"And then she just hits me across the face, I know Rarity gets mad at me but I never knew she would hit me, it's like she was someone else. Although, she did calm down with the dresses. She's actually starting to deal with... You know." The three little fillies all had sad looks across their face. They were all sharing stories about the older ponies. It was Apple Bloom's turn to tell her story.
"Things just haven't been the same since Applejack left. Big Mac and Granny Smith have been having problems around the farm, it's sad. Sometimes Ah think she's going to come back, so Ah wait. But no matter how long Ah wait, she ain't coming back. Ah just hope she's alright." Sweetie Belle hugged Apple Bloom, then they both turned to Scootaloo.
"What about you, Scootaloo?" Scootaloo looked at them, she had a mad look on her face, and tears in her eyes.
"What about me? I don't have anything going on. I don't have a sister or any pony to worry about. Because unlike you two, I have no pony, well, at least not anymore I don't..." Scootaloo shed a tear, she continued,
"Some nights I think back to what she said to me.. I haven't gone to sleep in one month without crying. All I dream about is that day... Sometimes it's a good dream, as if she survived. But then I wake up.. It's like a cruel joke. I just wish we could have done a lot more things together... It felt like I lost my sister.. I just wish she was here, to tell me it's going to be alright." Scootaloo tried to hold back but it was too much, Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom hugged her and tried to make her feel better. They all cried into each other's arm. After that, they all went back home, except for Scootaloo. She got on her scooter and went to go see Rainbow Dash.
"Sometimes I wake up, and I always feel like today's going to be different, but it's not. You're not here.. It hasn't been the same since you left. And I just wanted to tell you that I miss you.. Sometimes I have dreams where you're here and you take me with you to go flying, and it's amazing because I'm flying with you, all by myself. And I just..... just can't deal with the fact that you're not here.. And I can't forget those words you said to me... I just want you back here... I need you. Oh please... I love you, Rainbow Dash. You were more than a role model, you were a big sister to me. You taught me not to be afraid, to be tough and to believe in myself... I promise to you, one day, I'll be the fastest flyer in all of Equestria, I'll do everything to live up to your legacy. I'll make you proud, Rainbow Dash, I swear... And I'll make sure to make every pony happy again, for you." At this point, Scootaloo left a rose and said good-bye, she even waved back. On the grave, there were already a pile of roses, most dead, most fresh. It was about 30.
On Sweet Apple Acres, Apple Bloom called Big Macintosh and Granny Smith. They all went outside and saw Applejack coming up to the farm, they all ran up to her and welcomed her back. Applejack must have ate at least 100 apples that day, she'd been starving. That night, Applejack slept with Apple Bloom, this was a brand new day, and tomorrow she'd be sure to go and see her friends.
Ah knew what Ah had to do. As soon as Ah came back to Ponyville, Ah had to round up all my friends back together and we had to do what we should've done 'bout a month ago. Apple Bloom had told me what's been going on with every pony.
"Fluttershy and Twilight won't come out of their homes, Rarity had been going crazy with dresses and even hit Sweetie Belle in the face, and Pinkie Pie isn't being her usual Pinkie self, and Scootaloo, she's been the worst! It's almost as if she lost the closest thing she'd ever have to a sister, it's just been horrible." Ah knew things were going bad, but ah never knew it would be this bad. Then Applebloom asked something.. Something Ah just didn't want to answer.
"Why did ya leave, Applejack?" Ah just couldn't tell her, it would break her heart and mine.
"I'll tell ya what, once I talk to every pony, I'll tell ya, you stay here, alright? I'll be back soon."
"Alright Applejack, it's a deal!" Ah knew what I had to do, first stop, Fluttershy's.
As Ah was walking to Fluttershy's cottage, I saw Scootaloo coming up to me on her scooter.
"Applejack! You're back! Did you talk to Applebloom? Will you be staying?" The small pegasus was eager to ask.
"Already talked to her, Scootaloo, And Ah'll be staying for sure," Then Ah remembered what Applebloom told me about her, about Rainbow Dash, "Say, Scootaloo, would you like to help me?" The youngster was confused.
"With what?"
"Ah need to talk to my friends and Ah could really use the help, would you willing to help me out?" She thought about it for a second until she finally nodded yes.
"Great, c'mon then, we're going to Fluttershy's first." Scootaloo got back on her scooter and followed me to the cottage. Ah knocked on the door.
"Fluttershy! It's me, Applejack!" No answer, "Fluttershy!" Still no answer, "Alrighty then, Scoot, move back, Ah'm going in." Ah backed up and ran up the door and knocked it down.
"Ah still got it," Scootaloo and I walked in. "Fluttershy?" We searched around until we finally found her in her bed.
"Fluttershy! Oh Ah've missed you," But Fluttershy just looked at me and turned away.
"Hi, Applejack." The pony was known for being shy but Fluttershy didn't much cared about me coming back, all she did was look at the wall.
"Hi? Ah've been gone for a whole dang month, and all Ah get is a hi?!" Fluttershy turned back to me
"You wouldn't be the only one that's been gone for a month..." This got me mighty angry.
"Now look here, Fluttershy, me and Scootaloo have come to make every pony feel better, to get over Rainbow Dash and move on, and we won't leave until you come with us. Look at yourself, Fluttershy, you're a mess, all your animals are gone and-" She then got up and yelled,
"SHUT UP! JUST SHUT UP." Ah've known Fluttershy for a long time and I knew that at some time she could have her mean moments but she has never told any pony to shut up, let alone her friends.
"You come into my home and expect me to get over one of our closest friend's death?! You know what, Applejack? I CAN'T! NO PONY CAN'T... We lost our best friend, one we've known for a long time... And.. I can't get out the image of her plummeting down... I can't get out the image of her covered in blood.. And now.. I can't get her out of my mind... All I want is to hear her voice again, to see her again.. She made me stronger, tougher.. I loved her, okay?" Me and Scootaloo were pretty shocked to hear this.
"We all loved her-" She cut me off again.
"No, I meant I was in love with her.. I had a crush on her but I didn't say it because a lot of ponies would say it's wrong... I was going to tell her.. I should have told her soon. After she died, I just didn't have the strength to do anything else with my life.. I stayed indoors, all my animals left me... Angel died, and it's all my fault. If I had just fed him.. He'd still.." She was crying too much to go on. Ah hugged Fluttershy, Scootaloo didn't know what to do, she just stood there, but Ah knew she was tearing up a bit.. Funny, that seems like something Rainbow Dash would do in a situation like this.
"Rainbow Dash and Angel would want us to move on, Sugercube." Fluttershy wiped away her tears.
"You're right... I'm sorry I yelled, it's tough Applejack, I just miss her so much."
"Me too.. Me too. C'mon then, you too Scoot. We're going to get the rest of the girls." Fluttershy and Scoot smiled and nodded and followed me out the door. It was funny, Fluttershy was nearly blinded to the light, but she got used to it. Now we were onto Rarity's, I could see the boutique from here.
"Rarity! It's me Applejack, open up!" Rarity came to the door, and I was dead laughing once I saw her, her hair was a mess, and she was dirty. Once she saw me, she didn't care if I was laughing at her, she hugged and me and Fluttershy.
"Oh girls, it's been so long! About a month now, isn't it? Come in, come in." As we walked again, it was a mess. There were ripped dresses, clothing and fabrics everywhere. Even Ah ain't messy like this. Rarity gave us some drinks and we all started to talk.
"Applejack, please don't bother me asking but why do you leave? Where did you even go?" As Ah said before, Ah wasn't gonna answering.
"Uh, I'll tell y'all later. So, how have you been?" We all listened in.
"Well, at first I was going a little crazy with all the dresses. They were being made for.. Well, you know who. And one day I did the worst possible thing, I hit Sweetie Belle. I felt horrible, like the worst sister ever. So I did what I had to do, I decided to hell with these dresses and ripped them all up, soon I comforted Sweetie Belle. All I did after that was sleep, all I wanted to do was sleep, I haven't even taken a bath in days. I smell dreadful." She then turned to Fluttershy.
"I can't believe you were able to get Fluttershy out, Applejack. What did you do?" Ah then told her all that happened and asked her if she was ready to move on.
"You know I'll never forget Rainbow Dash, she was indeed a great friend. Sure, I mourned her for a while but after snapping out of my dressing phase, I think I'm ready to move on. I'll come along with you guys." We all hugged and were about to head out to get Twilight, but then Rarity called back to someone.
"Sweetie Belle, come on, we're going to see Twilight." Sweetie Belle then came downstairs, turns out she was listening the whole time. It was nice how Rarity is now giving more time to her sister, it was sweet. Sweetie Belle rode back with Scootaloo in her wagon and came along. As we were about to leave, Applebloom showed up.
"Applejack! You're doing it, you're getting 'em all back together. I know you told me to stay home but I couldn't help it, can I come alone too?" Aw shucks, Ah couldn't say no to her adorable face. I nodded and she went back with Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo. Next stop, Twilight Sparkle.
At Sugercube Corner, Pinkie Pie was holding up a picture of Rainbow Dash, holding it tightly.
"I hope you're having loads of fun up there. I miss you." She kissed the picture and looked up in the sky.
It was amazing, Applejack was rounding up all the ponies, my promise to Rainbow Dash was almost finished, just needed two more two more ponies, Twilight and Pinkie Pie. Twilight was probably going to be easy, yet pretty hard to convince, but Pinkie is what I'm worried most about. She'll never got over Rainbow Dash, hell, even I haven't got over her, but I don't want Applejack or any pony else to know. Soon, we reached the library, Applejack knocked on the door.
"Twilight!! It's me, Applejack, Ah'm back!" Spike then answered.
"Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy! Wow, it's been forever since I've seen you guys. How are you guys, have you been getting better?"
"Well Spike, that's part of why we're here," Applejack answered, "Is Twilight here?" Spike nodded and let us in. We saw Twilight in her bed, she was sleeping. The three mares all looked at each other and grinned.
"GOOD MORNING, TWILIGHT!" The 3 said in unison. Twilight sprung outta bed and looked up. She saw us all and smiled.
"Girls! You're all here, gosh, it's been forever since I've seen you guys, especially you, Applejack. Spike told me you had left, where'd you go?" Applejack didn't wanna answer of course. Then we all got to the point.
"Look Twi, we all got back together for a reason, we're here to move on with out lives and get over Rainbow Dash. We've all agreed that it's way past mourning and that we should just accept it now, and we wanted to know if you'll join us, Sugercube?" Twilight looked at us and spoke.
"Get out.." We were all confused.
"But Twi-" Applejack was cut off, just like with Fluttershy.
"GET THE HELL OUT! NOW!" We all gasped, no pony would've said that before, especially not to her friends, and coming from someone like Twilight, it was a shocker. She then spoke again.
"YOU COME INTO MY HOME JUST TO TELL ME TO GET OVER MY DEAD FRIEND? TO JUST FORGET ABOUT HER?! How dare you? You guys are cruel and heartless. Spike, start packing up, we're leaving." We had never seen Twilight so angry before, it was shocking. And now she says she's moving away, just 3 minutes ago we were all laughing and smiling. But I had enough, I was going to speak up for once, not for me, not for any other pony, but for Rainbow Dash.
"How dare we? HOW DARE WE? Look, all day we've been going around trying to get the gang together again, we did everything, we've reasoned, we sat down and talk, we helped each other. What did the Princess send you here for, Twilight? To learn about friends. You're not the only one who lost Rainbow Dash, okay? In front of you are 6 ponies who have to deal with this dilemma and are making through. We need you too, Rainbow Dash would've wanted you to come with us too, she'd want you to move on. Please, come with us and do what she would've wanted. Would you rather focus on her death or instead think about all the great times you had?" Twilight was looking straight at me, she was shocked that I said all that, she then started thinking about it.
"You're right, you're all right. I'm sorry girls, it was just hard. But you ponies are right, we all have to move on at one point, I'm with you guys. Spike?" Spike just smiled and hugged her. We all huddled together.
"I guess now we're just down to Pinkie Pie." Twilight said. Every pony knew this was going to be difficult. But we all stood confident and went on their way to Sugarcube Corner.
"For the first time in one month, Pinkie Pie smiled. She was still holding Rainbow Dash's picture and was looking at the sky.
"A rainbow.." She then shed a tear and kissed the picture.
It's sad knowing that once, I was the happiest pony in all of Equestria, but that all changed a month ago. Today was the first day I've smiled in a long time, it's amazing how one plain old image could bring back so many good memories, whether a picture or a rainbow. I looked back at the picture, it was of me hugging her, that was so long ago...

"Wow, Pinkie Pie, you are so random!" I smiled at the rainbow maned pony, just to think, a couple weeks ago she would've thought I was just another annoying pony, but after an entire full day of pranking, it's safe to say that me and Rainbow Dash are close friends now!
"So Rainbow Dash, what fun prank will we pull next?" I was eager and bouncy to know, but then Gilda showed up. Who the hell does she think she is, stealing her from me? It pissed me off, luckily she screwed herself later when I threw a party for her and acted like a total jerk, even when I tried to help her. But now I had Rainbow Dash all to myself again, and that's all I need

I couldn't believe it, how could my own friends be ignoring me? Especially Rainbow Dash! I thought she was my best friend, they're all backstabbing traitor-phonies. And further more, how could they just pass up Gummy's After-Birthday party? Whatever, I don't need them, I can make my own friends. Even if I have to use these rocks, or this bag of flour. You guys are my friends, right?

"C'mon Pinkie." I was mad at Dash, I wasn't going anywhere, luckily all my friends like Rocky and Madame Le Flour had my back, they were my true friends, he-he. ha, ha-ha.
"Alright, time to get out of Creepy Town, let's go." She then dragged me back to Applejack's, as if to mock me at my own farewell party. But it wasn't.. It was my Birthday. I didn't know what I did before, I just... Snapped. .

"So, Miss Pie, what seems to be the problem today?" I looked at the older pony, he was holding her notepad, writing down notes.
"I think I'm hearing voices, but not nice voices, mostly mean and rude voices. They tell me to do things, it's really weird." The pony nodded and wrote down on his notepad. She then turned back to me.
"Miss Pie, have you ever heard of Schizophrenia?" I was confused, I haven't heard that word before, not even from Twilight, and she always uses big words, she was a real egghead.
"No, is it a type of food? I sure am hungry." The pony nodded no.
"Schizophrenia is when some pony constantly hears voices. The pony may also have bi-polar disorder or extreme paranoia. There's also Multiple Personality disorder where the pony will have different personalities take over and become, let's say, a different pony. Do you ever change from your normal self?" I was shocked, the doc was right..
"Y'know, you're right, sometimes I'm not Pinkie. And there was also this one time where I took voices of inanimate objects like flour or rocks, it seems to happen when I'm really sad. And to think about, sometimes I'm not Pinkie when I'm sad." The pony nodded and wrote down some more.
"So, who are you when you aren't Pinkie?"
"I... I don't know.."

Rainbow Dash was leaving to the Wonderbolts Academy. I was happy for her, I really was. But I knew I'd miss her... Out of all my friends, she's my bestest friend. I then decided to wait for her to send any mail, or anything. I just couldn't move from the mailbox. As days went by, she still didn't send anything. I told her to write, but it's been day. Darn it, why the hell hasn't she written to us? I keep checking and checking that mailbox, but nothing. NOTHING. Does she even care, no she probably doesn't, maybe she's forgotten about us, well to hell with her...
I still didn't leave that mailbox though, I waited and waited. I know the other ponies are watching me, they know how sad I am. It's been 3 days. I haven't moved an inch. She's probably forgotten us anyway, but then we all got the idea to send her a care package and I instantly was hooked! But then I said,
"Don't be upset if she doesn't recognize you at first. It might take a while for her to get her memory back," just a friendly advice to them.

"SCREW YOU! I'M NOT CRAZY, I'M NOT CRAZY, I'LL KILL YOU FOR SAYING THAT, I'M NOT CRAZY!!"
I know what you're thinking, but the doc probably shouldn't had some something, I didn't really kill him, I'm not that cuckoo, I did manage to slap him. But soon after, I was shocked at what happened, I had never do something as mean as that, I felt bad and soon returned and apologized. Then I paid extra for the session and left, what was wrong with me? I guess I am crazy... Or insane.

We finally arrived to the academy and you know what's the first thing that happens? We get sucked into a tornado, but I didn't care because Rainbow Dash saved us, and she even remembered us! I hugged her hard, no pony saw but I also gave her a kiss on the cheek. It was a great day for all of us, she even was made a certified leader by Spitfire, we all seemed happy. Even me.. But for the past days I was also bi-polar and paranoid, so I decided to go see a therapist about what's wrong.

Looking back on all that, I have to say that time was well spent, and that I learned to confront the demons within. But they will come back, they always do. I'm a bi-polar, paranoid schizo pony. But I know that I could deal with it, I looked back at all my time with Rainbow Dash, I miss her, I will never forget her. But I know she wants me to move on. I looked back outside and looked up, the rainbow was still there. I looked down and saw them, Applejack, Twilight, Rarity, Fluttershy, Scootaloo, Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle. I went downstairs to see them, I already knew why they're here anyway. I giggled and opened the door.
One month ago, I would've thought that none of this would happen. It was all crazy, every pony and I got crazy. I'm glad Applejack came back, if it wasn't for her, we would've never been able to get all the ponies back together. It was amazing what we did, We turned a bunch of depressed ponies back to their usual self and we taught them to move on and to not mourn Rainbow Dash anymore, but rather celebrate her life. Now I see myself here, with Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle behind the older ponies, at Sugarcube Corner. A thousand thoughts ran through my head, would Pinkie not come with us, would she get angry like Twilight and Fluttershy did, no pony knew. After Applejack knocked, the door opened. We saw her, except she seemed darker and her hair was straight. But asides from that, for the first time in a month, Pinkie Pie was smiling. No pony has seen her smile in so long.
"Applejack! You're back, and you guys too, wow, it feels like it's been forever." We all went to her and gave her a big group hug, huh, her hair did smell like cotton candy. We all went inside and get a snack, after a full day, we were quite hungry.
"So what are you guys doing here?" We all knew this was gonna be more tough, even more tough then Twilight. But if anything happens, I know I'll be able to help her too. Applejack then spoke to her,
"Pinkie, something sure amazing happened today. Both Ah and Scootaloo were able to round up every pony, we did this for a reason, I know you might not agree, but we all were able to help each other out with Rainbow Dash, and we've all decided for the best and to move on, she would want us to move on, y'know? Ah just want you to come along with us and join us too, what do you say?" At first, Pinkie looked confused, then she looked as if she was thinking. I decided to add a few more words,
"Pinkie, I know that Rainbow Dash was your best friend, she was for all of us. Every pony felt different after she died, I felt like a sister.." Pinkie Pie looked at me and I could see tears in her eyes. She then went upstairs and got something, when she came back down, she showed us what it was. It was a framed picture of her and Rainbow Dash, she then broke the frame and got the picture out. She turned to the back of the picture and read something that was written on it,
"Dear Pinkie Pie, you will always be my best friend, you were always there for me, especially when I needed you. It's funny because at first sight, you just seemed like an annoying pony I'd hardly ever be friends with but you changed that. And I just wanted to say that no matter what, we'll always be friends, friends to the end. I love you Pinkie Pie, always know that, I'll love you from now till the end... I'll love you now till the end of time. N-never forget that Pinkie. Yours truly, Rainbow Dash." Every pony was crying now. We all went over to Pinkie Pie and hugged her, it felt like forever till we all stopped.
"You guys are right.. She'd want us to move on. Okay, I'll do it." Slowly after saying that, Pinkie Pie's skin got brighter and her hair went back to normal, all puffy. She didn't act like her usual party weird self though, at least not yet. We all went outside and Pinkie Pie pointed up to the sky, all of us looked up. It was a rainbow.

"Kid... Come here." I went over to Rainbow Dash and she whispered in my ear.
"Always believe in yourself kid, one day, you'll be the greatest flyer ever. I promise to keep always looking after you. I love you Scootaloo." I broke down and cried, Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle started to comfort me, I'll never get those words out of my head. I'll never forget you Rainbow Dash, you'll always be my big sister, no matter what.
After we picked up Pinkie Pie, we all did what was necessary, we went to go see Rainbow Dash. As we all finished placing down flowers on her grave, we decided to say a couple words. Twilight started us off,
"We are all here today to remember Rainbow Dash. To all of us, Rainbow Dash made a big impact on all of our lives. Rainbow Dash always seemed a bit mean sometimes, but at the end of the day, she was a real, great and loyal friend. To some of us, it was more than just a friend. Rainbow Dash was one of the greatest friends you could ever ask for and I just know that she's watching over all of us, protecting us." She stepped down and Applejack was next.
"One month ago, right after Rainbow Dash had passed, Ah knew Ah couldn't stay in Ponyville. Everywhere Ah went, it reminded me of Rainbow Dash, heck, at one point, every pony Ah saw was Rainbow Dash, same face and everything, I knew if I'd stay here, Ah'd just be sadder each and every day. So I did the most cowardly thing ever, I ran away, not just from my problems, but from my family and friends. To this day, that has been my biggest regret in life, what Ah did today is what Ah should have done one month ago. But now, Ah feel a whole lot better after today, and Ah would also like to Scootaloo, without her help, I wouldn't have done what Ah have done today so easy.. Scootaloo, Ah know to you, Rainbow Dash was the most important pony in all of Equestria, she was to all of us, but we'll always remember her, no matter what, she will always be our friend." As Applejack stepped down, I gave her a hug, close to Rainbow Dash, she was really cool too. After Rarity and Fluttershy spoke, it was finally Pinkie Pie's turn. I knew this was probably going to be the saddest speech, especially after that picture she showed us.
"I knew today was going to be different, because today was the first day I smiled in a month. It was weird at first, my face even started to hurt, but I just knew it was because of her. That rainbow we all saw today was her saying hello, I know it sounds weird but I just know she's been with us all along, and once we got all together, she would show us how happy she was. We miss you, Dashie. We all love you, and one day, we'll all be together again, I don't know when, but I'll be waiting." She stepped down and we all gave her a hug. We all left that day, together. Even though we all moved on, it'd never be the same, not without Rainbow Dash. But no matter what, she'll always be my friend, my sister and my role model. I told Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom goodbye. I didn't go home, I stayed with Rainbow Dash, that night, I fell asleep with her.
"Rainbow Dash, I love you. You've shown me plenty of things before in the past that made me who I am today, I just wanted to tell you that I will step up to your promise." At that moment, I stood and started to flap my wings, I was determined and kept pushing myself, until finally, I was off the ground. It was amazing! I was flying for real, this was the greatest moment of my life. As I got back down, I smiled and cried, but they weren't sad tears, they were happy tears. For the rest of the night, I slept happy, knowing I was sleeping with Rainbow Dash.
When I woke up, I saw something spectacular. It was a rainbow in the sky, it was just like the one yesterday, only this one felt more special and bigger. I smiled and went to go see Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle and we did what we usually did. Everything in Ponyville slowly came back to normal. The farm was doing great again, Fluttershy got all her animal friends back, even a new bunny which seemed nicer than Angel, Rarity's dresses were being bought by the second, but she still knew to spend time with Sweetie Belle a lot, and Twilight continued on with her studies here in Ponyville. Oh, and for Pinkie Pie? Well, that's a whole other story I'll tell you at some other point. Me, Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle did managed to get our cutie marks at one point, it was great, my whole life was fulfilled, except for one final thing..
"This one is for you, Rainbow Dash," I leaped off the cloud and shot through the sky, once I was high enough, I rocketed down and kept going, my face started to hurt but I didn't care, I didn't stop, I wasn't going to, until finally I reached the sound barrier, and BAM!. I did what only one pony has done before. A Sonic Rainboom. Back in Ponyville, my friends congratulated me and we all threw a party. After the party, I went to go see Rainbow Dash, it's been 3 years now. For 3 years, I've been seeing Rainbow Dash every day, once in a while I even slept with her. I sure do miss her, but knowing she's still with me in my mind is good enough. I kissed the tombstone and walked away, turning back, I smiled and waved bye. I knew she was there.
