It was a spring day in Centerville and the Monster home was preparing for spring cleaning. Mom told them to clean out assigned areas of the house and find toys they do not play with anymore to donate to charity. One was to clean the living room. Two was to clean the basement. Three was to clean the bedroom and bathrooms. Four and Five were to clean the shed and back yard. Six was to clean the closets. Seven was to clean the attic.
" Okay my doonkels," Mom said, "Cleaning up now and later will be fun having time, so start clean being and I will be clean being my bedroom, come get me if you are needing me." "Okay mom," said One, "So, everybody know what they have to do?" 'Yes we do" the rest said. "I can't wait to clean the basement," Said Two, "I can finally use the duster that can attach to my nose that I got for my birthday." "A somple chore that involves dusting, little did they know that it will result in tragedy." Three narrorated. "So who are you today Three?" Said Four sarcastically. "I am narrorator Three." He answered. "Stop wasting time and let's get finished, the sooner we finish, the sooner we can have fun, so let's get to it." Said One.
So all the monsters began their chores. Seven was talking to himself while heading to the attic. "Oh how exciting, I can't wait to find interesting things in the attic," Said Seven, "I do wonder what's up there?" he asked to himself. About ten minutes later, Seven was placing boxes on the shelves in the attic when he discovered a box labeled "Magical Items". "I wonder what this is?" Asked seven.
Seven opened the box and discovered a book entitled "Magical spells and elixers." Seven opend the book and immeadiately read spells. A spell that caught his attention was the dimentional travel spell. Seven was curious and read the spell aloud. "Oh spell written down in a magical book, take me away to explore another world, show me around the univers' whole, and reverse this spell, to return thee home." Seven read. Suddenly, Seven saw a bright blue light in front of him, it surrounded him and made him feel dizzy. After about two minutes, he blacked out.
When he awoke, he discovered he was not home. He was in a forest, he unscrewed his head and raised it up to discover that he was near a cottage surrounded by bird houses and ponds full of fish and frogs. Seven was not feeling good and passed out. He was awoken by a soft voice. "Oh... you're waking up...um...ar...are...you okay?" Seven looked up to see te face of a Vanilla pony with a pink mane and blue eyes. "Who...who are you?" Seven asked in a confused and upset tone of voice.
Seven heard a loud squeak like noise and got up to see that the pony that was staring him in the face just seconds before, was cowering in the nearby corner looking like she just saw a ghost... or a monster. "Are you alright?" asked Seven. The pony looked up towards Seven confused that a monster would ask her that. She got up to try to talk to him but she was too afraid to utter words. "It's okay, I won't harm you." Said Seven. Seven screwed off his head to speak at eye level with the pony, the pony was frightened that Seven unscrewed his head, but she took a look at him and realized he would not be a threat, she let him continue. "What is your name kind pony?" asked Seven.
"Umm... my name... is... um. my name is Fluttersy... "What was that, I could not hear you." Replied Seven. "Um...my name is... Fluttershy." Said Fluttershy. "Flutter, is that your name" Asked Seven. "No... it's Fluttershy. Replied Fluttershy. "Fluttershy, I like that name, It sounds like something Six would say. My name is Seven." Said Seven. "Who is Six, and why are you named after a number?" Asked Fluttershy with a confused look on her face. "Six is one of my sisters, she enjoys dancing and beauty. I am named Seven because I am the seventh monster my mother had." Explained Seven. "So...you have many siblings?" Asked Fluttershy.
"Yes," Replied Seven, " We are all named after the number of our birth order. One is my other sister, she can fly and she loves sports. Two is one of my many brothers, he has a long nose and enjoys flowers and smelling things. Three is another one of my brothers, he changes everyday, he pretends to be different people like Astronauts, Musicians, and so on. Four and Five are more of my brothers, they are really close to each other, Four is green and covered in fur, he is often sarcastic and jealous of One, and he also looks out for Five, Five is blue and has his tongue hanging out often, he does not talk much. I already told you about Six, and You just met me." Seven explained. Seven had to catch his breath after a speech that long.
"Wow Seven... your family sounds interesting, you sound thirsty, would you like for me to get you some water? If that's okay with you?" Fluttershy Said to Seven. Seven re attached his head and accepted her offer. Afterward, Angel climbed up Seven's back while he was looking out the window in Fluttershy's cottage. "Angel, get off my guest, I don't think he likes you climbing on him." Fluttershy said to Angel. Angel climbed down but Seven did not notice, he was far too busy figuring out where he is. He knew he was far from home. "What's wrong Seven... you look upset." Fluttershy asked Seven while flying next to his head.
"I do not know where I am, I want to go home." Seven said. Fluttershy explained to him how he was in a place called Equestria and was in a town called Ponyville. Seven asked, "Is Ponyville close to Centerville, because that's where I live." Said Seven. Fluttershy looked confused, she had never heard of Centerville. Seven took a look at her face and knew she did not know. Seven wanted to go home, but he did not know where to go. He got up and exited Fluttershy's cottage unannounced and walked aimlessly towards Everfree Forest. Fluttershy followed him out and tried to catch up with him.
