Electrifying Introductions

(Holy crap you guys, you must really like cute electric wolves. I don't blame you though)

The flight to Apple Jack's barn, where the party is being held, was short and fast. When Rainbow Dash landed in front of the barn, Bolt quickly jumped off of his friends back.

He started to walk towards the big red barn, before Rainbow Dash stepped in front of him. "You can't go inside squirt," Bolt could have sworn that he heard some quiet giggling coming from inside. "I need you to wait outside for now."

Bolt sighed, "Ok." He turned around and made his way to a nearby orchard.

Rainbow Dash waited until Bolt was a few feet away before she went in, leaving Bolt outside. When he sat under the shade of the tree, he started to hum a song that was sung to him by his mother. He shut his eyes, and began to slowly rock back and forth to the tune. Bolt's loving memories of his mother, came rushing back to him...

Five Years Ago

"Wake up my child, a new day approaches."

Bolt started to stir, but refused to get up, "Hmm... f-five more min-" He passed out again.

Bolts mom silently giggled at Bolts stubbornness, but she wasn't going to put up with it. She slowly tilted her head forward, causing Bolt to role off of her head and land in the soft grass with a thud.

He slowly stood up and yawned, "I'm up."

The mother smiled and shook her head, "What am I going to do with you?"

Bolt rubbed his eyes, "Let me sleep."

"Now you know that you have lessons with your father this morning."

"I know... It's just..." He looked down, "I don't like them. He wants me to be something that I don't want to be."

Bolts mother raised an eyebrow, "And what is that exactly?"

"He keeps telling me that I'm going to grow up and be... an alpha... whatever that means. That I'm supposed to bring honor to our family and destroy all who oppose me. I don't want to be that."

She smiled softly, "My child, you can be anything that your heart desires. Your father is just very... well lets just say, determined."

Bolt looked into his mothers eyes, "What do you mean?"

"I remember when your father fought three other male Jinougas, just to be with me. What he sets his mind to, he gets."

Bolt sighed, "That really doesn't help me."

"What i'm trying to say is, give your father some grace. He only wishes for you to follow in his pawsteps. He loves you no mater what, because under that hard, scaly exterior... lies a loving father."

"You think so mommy?"

"I know so."

Bolt quickly jumped onto his mothers snout and hugged it. "I love you mommy, don't ever leave me."

She giggled, "No need to worry my son, I'm not going anywhere. Now go find your father, he has a lot to teach you."

Bolt let go of his mothers snout, and went to go find his father. But before he got to far, his mother spoke. "Remember my son, only you can chose what you want to be... you just only need to believe in yourself."

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bolt was daydreaming for about five minuets, before he was approached by a familiar purple dragon. The dragon stopped just a few feet behind bolt before speaking. "Hay dude," Bolt turned around, "Were ready for you inside."

Bolt still didn't understand what was going on, but he wasn't going to argue with it. He started to follow the tiny dragon to the barn.

When they reached the barn doors, Bolt's senses were bombarded with multiple smells. His senses were so sharp, that he was able to recognize over 37 different aromas coming from the barn... six of them familiar.

Bolt started to feel a little nervous about the barn, "I-Im not sure about this Spike,"

"Don't worry Bolt, your going to like whats inside," Spike then opened the big red door, allowing Bolt to enter. Spike followed Bolt inside, and closed the door behind them. It was now pitch black... and Bolt didn't like it.

Bolt let out a silent whimper and started to shake, "I-I don't want to b-be here Spike." Bolt then laid down, and covered his eyes with his paws.

Spike noticed Bolts fear, "Uh guys... I don't think we should-" It was too late.

"SURPRISE!!" The lights then illuminated the room, allowing Bolt to see its inhabitants.

Something in Bolts head snapped, all sense of reasoning was abandoned, and instinct took over. Bolt quickly shot up, claws extended and growling, ready to kill at any moment. All the ponies in the barn started to admire cute little Bolt, unaware of what he is capable of. The only ponies who seemed to notice Bolts anger, was Twilight and Dash.

"Squirt, are you all-" Bolt didn't allow Rainbow to continue. The spikes and fur on Bolts back, shot straight up. Lightning started to shoot out of the spikes uncontrollably, scarring everypony in the barn. "Bolt! Whats gotten in to-" Bolts eyes started to glow bright blue, his growling became even louder.

Spike shouted, "EVERYPONY DUCK!!" All of the ponies in the barn, quickly jumped into cover... except one.

"Duck, where!?"

"NO PINKIE... DUCK!"

"Ohhh-" Right as Pinkie Pie galloped to cover, Bolt let out a bloodcurdling howl. Blue lightning then shot out of Bolt, scorching the nearby walls and almost hitting many of the frightened ponies.

The deadly barrage of lightning finally stopped, allowing the ponies in the barn to come out of cover. The all starred at Bolt, who was shaking uncontrollably. He was now standing in a patch of scorched earth, the wooden walls around him were burnt to a crisp. The glow Bolt naturally emitted from his body, was completely gone. His naturally blue eyes, were now a dark shade of grey.

Rainbow Dash slowly walked to the shaking wolf, "B-bolt?"

"I... I'm... sorry-" He collapsed,

"BOLT!!"

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"You felt it... didn't you Alpha?"

"Of course, he's my son... I know his spark."

"Even from here, his power can be felt."

"Indeed, he is the one who will bring redemption to our pack."

"If you don't mind me asking, why did you banish him?"

"Isn't it obvious? He lacks hatred for his enemies, that can only be learned through experience. I banished him so he could learn how to hate. He is a monster, and with an outburst like that, he will be treated like one."

"Ah... I see Alpha. So him being treated like a monster, will turn him into one."

"You are correct."

"And what happens when he turns?"

"...I will finish what my father started."

(I am so sorry that this chapter is so short. I just got back from Lithuania last night, and the time difference was terrible. So I decided to get this out to you guys, because I will probably not get another chapter out for a while. Hope you liked the picture though)
