It was a dark night in Ponyville. In one place a young mare was telling her parents how her first date went. But in another, two stallions were about to do something they will regret..
Caramel stood there looking at DJ's eyes. DJ who apparently was doing the same was breathing heavily.
" I told you, you are going to pay." DJ slowly said.
" For what!? For getting her out of an alcoholic stallion?" Caramel said. DJ growled an jumped on top of Caramel, making him hit violently the ground. Caramel grunted and struggled to take him off him. After doing so, he pushed him against the wall making him hit his head. Blood started to go out DJ's nose as he gasped. Caramel got shocked himself, he have never hurt anypony before, but this, this was just important. DJ punched him in the face making him fall in the floor. He then stretched his wings so they would be open. He stepped on them making the young stallion shout in pain. Caramel tried his best to brake free but it was impossible. The pain was horrible, it's like if someone stepped on your tiny finger with all of his weight. He started grunted and punched him in the stomach. He stood up finding his wings unable to move, broken and with blood. He grunted for the pain and saw DJ threw a block. He barely dodged it. He then took it and threw it too. The brick hit DJ's hoof making him shout in pain.
RH was walking in Ponyville's dark streets.
" It's no fair. Why do I have to look for my stupid brother." She said. She then heard a loud scream. As her ears perked up she recognized it was her brother. She followed the sound only to find a horror scene. Caramel, bleeding from his wings, and her brother, bleeding from his nose and in the floor, with his hoof broken. She gasped not wanting to get in the middle of it she flied and flied until she arrived in Identity's house. She knocked hard. She then knocked again. Mothball opened the door rubbing his eyes and yawning.
" It's 10 in the night, what's wrong?" Mothball said after a yawn.
" I-I need to talk with Identity, where is she?" RH said.
" She is in her room." Mothball said. " But-" he couldn't finish because the white alicorn was already on her way to the room. She opened the door and found Identity looking at a necklace. She gasped.
" RH? What's wrong! You look like if you saw a ghost!" Identity said walking to her friend.
"DJ-CARAMEL-FIGHT!" Was all she managed to get out.
" W-what?" Identity said lowering her ears.
" Just follow me!" RH said taking off and flying out of the window. Identity opened her wings and looking at her brother who was asleep. She was surprised that all of the shouting didn't woke him up. She then took off and followed her worried friend.
DJ breathed heavily on the floor holding his hoof. He had an incredible amount of pain. Caramel was almost in the same situation. DJ, even with the pain stood up and growled.
" This will be the last mistake you done!" He shouted. Caramel growled. Then he gasped hearing a familiar sob. He turned around to find Identity with a horror expression and by her side was Rainbow Heart with the same expression.
"CARAMEL! WATCH OUT!" Identity shouted. Caramel turned around and in a matter of half a second everything went black. All he could hear was a high-pitched whistle and felt his body collapse to the ground. The last thing he heard was his loved one crying and shouting.
" Caramel!"
Identity watched in horror as Caramel was standing there with his wings completely damaged. And in front of him was DJ almost in the same situation. She then saw Caramel turn around. He had blood in his nose. She sobbed and then saw as DJ picked a brick and threw it, with the attempt to hit Caramel in the head. She tried to warn him but as he turned around the brick hit him violently. As he collapsed to the ground Identity gasped and went running to him. Tears going down her face as she breathed heavily. Blood in his face, nose and mouth. Rainbow Heart tried to help her but as soon as she saw the blood she sat down and stayed there, completely traumatized. Identity closed her eyes and looked at her side. DJ standing there with a smile on his face.
" Looks like he wasn't strong enough." He said. Identity's ears twitched. Her tiny black pupils went tinier than ever. As she stood up, her face red in anger DJ's smile faded.
" You look hot right now." He said with another smile. Identity ran to him and making him hit with the wall violently. He grunted as blood came out of his mouth and he smiled again.
"You-*grunt* you look hot like this babe." He said before receiving a bite on the shoulder. Identity had sank her long pointy fangs on DJ's shoulder. He shouted in pain as he collapsed to the ground. She then kicked him hard in the face making him fall on the floor unconscious. She walked up to Caramel as she heard a gasp. Chaotic was standing there, he could not believe his eyes. He had a phone on his hoof. Some minutes later the ambulance came. As some mares and stallions came out of the truck they went running to Caramel putting him in the ambulance. As they took DJ too and then put him in another ambulance. They looked at RH then at Chaotic.
" She is traumatized." He said. They nodded and took her too. The twins were left there in the dark. Identity's pupils then went back to normal. As she felt her fangs wet, she licked them thinking it was water. But she gasped noticing it was blood.
" What have you done!?" Her brother shouted in anger. Identity remembering what she done, looked at her brother.
" Did you see Caramel! Maybe DJ killed him!" She shouted.
" That was no reason for you to do that to DJ!" Chaotic shouted.
"WHAT!? I should have done WORST!" She shouted with tears going down her face.
" Are you INSANE Identity!! This is exactly what DJ did!!" Chaotic shouted shaking his head in disbelief again. Identity growled. How could her brother not see it? DJ was an idiot, who deserved worse than what she did! Or was her brother right? Did she really do something wrong? NO! She did not!
" Yes you did!" Chaotic said after reading her thoughts.
" You are another idiot! Who is simply BLIND to not notice what's going on here! No wonder your eyes are like that! IDIOT!" She shouted before taking off leaving her brother alone. Chaotic was completely broken, she had hurt his feelings. He sat down, tears going down his face. Not only for what she said, but for what she done.
Identity flew to the hospital as fast as she could. She entered to doors and went running to the secretary.
"May I-" The mare said but was cut short.
"Where's Caramel!?" Identity shouted.
" Room 109." The mare said as Identity went running to the door. She went to open it but it was locked. Then with tears in her eyes she started pushing it. All the sound she could hear were the beeps of Caramel's heart. They were slow. She started crying, pushing the door harder. Then it was opened. A white coated stallion with purple mane looked at her.
" May I help you?" He said kind of annoyed.
" Y-yes, this is Caramel's room??" Identity said.
" Yes." The doctor said.
" C-can I go in?" She said.
" I'm afraid not. I already have the parents. But who are you, family?" The doctor said.
" I'm a friend" Identity said.
" Sorry. But you can not come in." The doctor said. Identity then burst into tears making the doctor gasp.
" Please!" She said. The doctor sighed.
" Let me ask the parents if they are okay with this." The doctor said closing the door.
" ARE YOU SERIOUS!? NO!" Identity heard Bolt shout from inside the room. The doctor opened the door with a sad face.
" I'm sorry, but you heard him, good day." The doctor said and closed the door. Identity burst again in tears and sat down by the door. She then remembered her bestie was here too. She then saw a nurse walking by.
" Excuse me, where can I find Miss. Rainbow Heart?" Identity said. The nurse thought for a second and smiled.
" I'm on my way there right now, you can come with me now!" The nurse said and Identity nodded and followed her. As they entered the room RH was sitting on the bed. The nurse gave her a glass of water.
" Feeling better?" She asked her. RH nodded and the nurse smiled.
" There's somepony who wants to see you." The nurse said getting out of the room and leaving Identity and RH alone. Identity hugged her friend.
" Are you okay?" She asked her. RH smiled.
" Yes. " She said. Then the door opened. Chaotic ran to his marefriend and gave her a kiss. He then saw Identity and gave her a glare. Identity did the same thing.
" I hope you get well soon." Identity said before getting out of the room.
Nightlight was holding her son's hoof. Bolt was walking from side to side. He then looked at his unconscious son.
" This is all HER fault!" He said getting Nightlight's attention.
" If he didn't love her, he wouldn't fight for her!"
" He never listens to me!"
" Foolish teenagers!"
" I'm gonna have to get rid of that mare myself!"
" No.." He then heard a weak voice and turned around seeing his son opening his eyes.
" Yes Caramel! Don't you see what this caused you! You almost died!" Bolt said.
" I SAID NO!" Caramel said sitting in the bed. As the machine started to beat faster. Nightlight pushed her son to lay down again. The machine then returned to it's normal beeping. Bolt who was surprised just sat down and looked away. Then there was heard a hit in the door. Bolt went to open it hoping it was the doctor. He then slammed it again.
"W-who was it?" Caramel said weakly.
" Nopony!" Bolt shouted.
" It was Identity wasn't it?" Caramel said. Bolt didn't answer.
" Let her in.. please." Caramel said. Bolt sighed and opened the door, revealing a crying Identity. She gasped and looked at Bolt. She then looked at Caramel who was laying down in the bed with a lot of tubes connected to him. His shiny blue eyes were barely opened but they were looking at her. She ran to him hugging him, trying not to hurt him. She cried and cried. Nightlight then slowly pushed her away, so Caramel could lay down again. Caramel looked at Identity who kept sobbing.
" Shh.. I'm fine." He said. Identity didn't stop crying.
" C-Caramel! Why did you do that!" She said, not letting him answer.
" Why were you so stupid! I-I thought I lost you! For the second time!" She said crying like if the world was going to end. Caramel looked at her heartbroken. He wanted to kiss her so bad and tell her everything was alright. But he didn't knew if everything was alright. His parents were there, and he had a breathing thing in his mouth. Identity sobbed as she felt a hoof in front of her.
" Time's up." Bolt said harshly. Identity then lowered her ears and walked to the door. She gave one final look at Caramel and closed the door. Bolt turned to his wife receiving a glare from her.
