Queen Chrysalis, was confused to say the least, she didn't know a lot about Equestrian history, but she knew three things through the chatter of her former hive, Princess Luna was Nightmare Moon, Tirek was someone she didn't want to meet, and Discord is a god of chaos. Even thought these are fact, it still didn't make any sense why the God of Chaos wason a cotton candy cloud th size of a doll playing with 2 half bred pony/dragon chindren. She smiled,then giggled, then broke into a full laugh, which caught the attention of said god and childlren, who were confused for a bit. Spike looked at herwith a bit of confusion till he cracked a smile at the scene before him.
"Ok kids, lets go upstairs." Spike went and the kids followed. Though, downstairs anothr conversation was taking place.
"Ahh, Queen Chysalis, what may I pray tell you are doing here?" he grew to his normal size and pulled off a horn to pop the cloud like a ballon and caught the children and put them down, "I broke contact with you a decade ago."
Said Queen was coming down from her laugh to say, "Oh Discord, you never seem to dissapoint in the laughter catergory." she gained a bit more composure and continued, "Though, I must say the mighty have fallen, what are you doing here?"
"Come now Chrissy, I asked you first, and within all things gentlemanly ladies first." he said waering a smile, as a recliner appeared under him.
"I do not feel like telling the story again, lets just say, I didn't do so good at being a ruler, I am here because my mistakes destroyed my people." she hated telling that story, she wouldn't speak of it again. "And i guess you could say, Karma is a strange being."
"Oh my, I guess trouble becomes us all, though to indulge you, I'll share my story with you." He told her of how Princess Celestia put him in the care of Fluttershy under the circumstance for rehabilitation to transition from bad to ggo, the trouble he caused, and making friends with others. "I guess that just about sums it up."
"I have another question, what made you change your mind, you yourself said had doubts on the whole friendship deal so what changed your mind, you had all the power in the world everyone could be bowing at your feet right now, what changed all of that?"
"I guess when you break it down to its roots, you could say no matter how much power you have, no matter how much you conquer for yourself, at some oint you realise that you are all alone, by yourself at the top. I don't know about you but, everyone needs someone they can trust, even though I have all this power, I find it good i have people around me I can share it with." he said with a smile ashe looked at her deep within her very mind to see even she was alone, literally and emotionally. "But, that is enough of the serious chat, I must be going, Rarity and I are gonna go shopping soon,. Ta-Ta!" and like that he disappeared in a pink poof.
Chrysalis wanted to be mad, she wanted to be angry, though she didn't why. It was what he said, she knew it was true. She would be all alone like she always was, she sat there in deep thought over what she heard Discord say, 'I don't know about you but, everyone needs someone they can trust, even though I have all this power, I find it good i have people around me I can share it with.' she hated being proved wrong but those words kept echoing in her head, then she was broken out of it when someon spoke.
"Oh, we have a room for you if you want it." said Photo Finish as she looked to the Queen.
It was Spikes, her, fiance, wife, oh dear Faust she was so done with today. " I would very much like that, it has been a long day and I need some sort of sleep."
Photo Finish walked and Chrysalis followed, as she did she noticed that they lived within a pretty siable mansion, she knew Photo Finish owned a very well off company but she probably couldn't afford all of this so she asked, "How did you get this home it's manificent."
"Well, it actually omes from Spike, he is a princeso money comes with the title." she said and then she thought, 'Maybe I shouldn't have said that.'
"What!?" she kept walking but she was still very surprised, 'How did I just randomly choose and get this lucky!?' she thought as she reached the room she would be in.
"Yes, though he is a bit down the line, Behind Luna, Twilight, and Blueblood." saying his name gave her chills, she despised him, like 98 percent of Equestrians.
Discords words found their way back into her thoughts and she soon said to herself in a whisper, "Then he must be really alone, absolutely no one. Eh, but what do I care he ..brought it..on himself." She noticed the gravity of what she just said.
"What was that?" Photo said as she opened the door to a luxurious room.
"Nothing. Wow, this is a beautiful room, how much is there to this place?"
"9 bedrooms, 4 and a half bathrooms, attic and basement, quite big, but, some of my and Spikes friends come and stay a night or two. You are across form mine and Spikes room thebathroom is down the hall to the right, thi place is 3 stories high, I wanted something smaller but we might want more kids." then idea popped in her head, "Should we expect any kids for you?"
Chrysalis blushed, hard, she didn't even seem to factor that into the equation, "Uhhh, uhhh, I ..dont..know?"
Photo now noticing what she said thought to herself, 'Oh, Spke, you've rubbed off me.' then she said, "Well you are in for a treat with my dragon, you wont be ale to walk after." with that she left with a huge smile on her face as she laughed at the face Chrysalis made as she told her that.
"Oh Faust, today is just full of surprises." she said to no one but herself as she layed on the bed and passed out like a light.
