(About 10 minutes before, Fluttershy is walking towards her house, talking to herself.)
"This tornado duty is scary; I'll have to fly in front of other ponies, like a performance, with everypony watching! I'll have to make up an excuse not to go maybe I'll be sick, oh but I don't want to disappoint Rainbow Dash, maybe I'll..."
All of a sudden, there was a crashing in the brush and before Fluttershy could react, a black cloaked pony slammed into her. She squeaked in surprise. When she regained her balance, she saw the black cloaked pony that that had slammed into her backing away in fear, only to crash into a rock. With nowhere to go, the cloaked pony scrunched himself into the corner and fell down cowering. With every cautious step Fluttershy made towards the mysterious figure, he seemed to get smaller and smaller. Fluttershy extended a caring hoof to the mysterious figure, and in return the black cloaked pony just pushed himself farther into the wall, breathing heavily. Fluttershy trying to assure the pony that she was not going to hurt him said softly,
"Don't worry, I won't hurt you."
a small squeak enunciated from the cloaked figure. Fluttershy, again, tried to reassure the cowering bundle of stallion and cloth.
"It's Ok, I'm not going to do anything to you." Fluttershy backs away from the cowering pony, and a small rumble emits from the other pony's stomach.
"Are you hungry? Do you want something to eat?"
The other pony's breathing slows.
"I have some of Pinkie Pie's leftover cupcakes."
When Fluttershy opened her saddle bag, she could all most feel the other pony's panic rising. She also noticed the other pony was looking around, frantic to escape. Fluttershy gave a reassuring
"It's ok, I won't hurt you."
She slowly drew out the cupcake and handed it to the other pony, but was met with more flinching. Fluttershy set the cupcake a little ways away from the cloaked pony, stood back and turned around but kept watch out of the corner of her eye. The other pony quickly snatched up and greedily ate the cupcake, slowly putting down his layers of suggested defense but still keeping on high alert. Fluttershy slowly turned around and said,
"there that's not so bad, my names Fluttershy what's yours?"
at first the cloaked pony didn't respond then muttered something that Fluttershy couldn't make out
"I'm sorry I couldn't quite hear you could you say that again?" the other pony muttered again looked at the ground and blushed slightly
"Could you say that again?" repeated Fluttershy
“My name is...my name is solar eclipse" said the other pony in a very quiet, meek voice
"That's a very lovely name, so why are you moving to Ponyville? Where did you come from?"
the other pony hesitated to answer debating whether or not to tell her
"I...I'm... I'm not moving to Ponyville I'm just... stopping for a couple of days to take... to take a rest from traveling, you wouldn't know any good places to stay are?" Asked solar eclipse still in a quiet voice but starting to become more trustful
"Oh no, we don't have any inn's in Ponyville"
solar eclipse put his cloaked head down in disappointment
"But you're welcome to stay at my house, if you like" Fluttershy gave a smile and solar eclipses head shot up and a suspicious expression crossed his face
"Sure... by the way you can just call me eclipse... for short... if you want to" said solar eclipse,
"But you're welcome to stay at my house is just down this way"
As eclipse and Fluttershy started walking they heard a loud
"FLUTTERSHY!!"
Eclipse ears shot up under his hood and a panicked expression crossed his face, Fluttershy looked at eclipse and said
"It's ok that's just my other friends"
Just at that moment pinkie pie, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, and twilight sparkle rounded the corner pinkie pie suddenly
stopped and a huge smile spread on her face Applejack, twilight and Rainbow Dash looked at her awkwardly, pinkies hoof shot out an pointed at eclipse the other ponies looked including Fluttershy, panic was filing eclipse as he started involuntarily backing away, Fluttershy realizing what was about to happen said
"No, wait"
then pinkie pie screamed "HEY THAT THE PONY I SAW THIS MORNING!!!"
Eclipse was in full panic, pinkie was charging at eclipse franticly then Fluttershy screamed
"WAIT!!!"
At that pinkie pie tripped and skidded to a hault, and by this time eclipse was charging down the hill towards the refuge of the woods, Rainbow Dash seeing it was there last chance to catch the mysterious pony charged after him
"Oh no you don't!!"
Fluttershy dives and grabs Rainbow Dashes left hind leg, but not before rainbow can grab the hem of eclipse cloak with her teeth falling down and ripping the back off of his cloak reveling a dark brown all most black body and a set of wings, by the time rainbow had recovered eclipse was nowhere in sight, ranbowdash got up and turned on Fluttershy
"What ya do that for!?" exclaimed Rainbow Dash in irritation and mild anger
Fluttershy face got red and a VERY angry look crossed her face
"What did I do that for... WHAT DID I DO THAT FOR... WHAT DID YOU DO THAT FOR!!! CHASING THAT POOR PONY, YOU PRACTIALY SCARED HIM TO DEATH!!!"
At this point Rainbow Dash was cowering under Fluttershy's angry stair
"Ok girls I think we all need to calm down now" said twilight
Fluttershy whipped her head over to twilight, the other ponies started to back up Fluttershy got redder and redder until she looked like she was going to explode
"CALM DOWN! I AM PERFECTLY CALM, HOW DARE YOU TELL ME TO CALM DOWN WHEN YOU JUST PRACTELY SCARED THAT POOR PONY TO DEATH, DO YOU KNOW WHAT IT TOOK ME TO EVEN GET HIM TO TALK TO ME"
Suddenly Fluttershy realized what she was doing to her friends and landed on the ground and blushed in embarrassment at what she had said, the other ponies were clinging on to whatever they could find so they wouldn't get blow away by the volume of Fluttershy's voice
"Oh...oh my, I'm Soooo sorry I didn't mean to scare you, I was just so angry I just...yelled"
"Yea...ok...noted for future reference...don't make Fluttershy angry" said Rainbow Dash with slight nervousness and new respect for the shy Pegasus
"Wow, you were so assertive Fluttershy it was just...wow" said pinkie pie in mild shock
"Thank you" said Fluttershy with satisfaction
"Well this has been just a crazy night I think it's about time we hit the hay" said Applejack yawning
"I must agree" said twilight now yawning as well
"Night y’all, see you in the morning"
As all the ponies start walking to their houses twilight yells to Fluttershy
"Hey Fluttershy! Wait up!"
"Yes twilight?"
"What did that mysterious pony say to you?"
"Oh you mean Eclipse, he just told me he was only passing through just a traveler"
"Oh ok, good night then"
"Good night twilight"
