Stranded: The 1st day

"How much more of this???" Luna groaned.

We will be arriving at Pearson International Airport. Welcome to Canada. You will find your ride at Terminal 3.

"Well, according to this guidebook it's gonna take 4 and a half hours to reach there." Celestia said. "And that's without traffic. With traffic it'll take - OOF! HEY!" Celestia was interrupted by pillow in her face.

Luna smiled. "I needed you to shut up so I could stop feeling the agony of upcoming wait. I clearly don't see - OOF!" She was hit with another pillow, this time from Celestia...

6 hours later...

Celestia looked at her sister's lazy posture. "We're here, if it makes you feel better."

"WELL IT'S ABOUT TIME!!!!!!!!!!!" Luna hollered.

Celestia frowned. "Hey, blame traffic for the extra hours, not me!"

"I'M NOT BLAMING YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Luna yelled. "Whatever. The place looks nice, I guess."

"It's called the Parliament Building."

Celestia then faced the driver. "I assume the ride was prepaid?"

"Yes, ma'am." The driver responded.

"Very well then. Thank you." Celestia said. Then both sisters stepped out of the luxury car and into the Parliament Building.

After the meeting...

"2 down, 20 something to go." Celestia said. "So far so good. No negative responses... yet. So far we have 2 countries requesting limited immigrants, but they want at least some immigrants. I think I'll send a few ponies to immigrate there, assuming there is no danger posed to them. Of course, if they wanted to test - "

Luna widened her eyes. "Wait a minute, there's MORE?! 20 MORE?!"

"Deal with it." Celestia faced Luna. "Look, the flight to Pearson wasn't THAT long, right? Only an hour or so?"

"It was 2 hours." Luna said. "Alright then, time for the next flight. WHY???"

"This is outrageous!" Luna said. "The time! Time, time, time. At least the ponies back home aren't suffering. It's great that we made that system to make sure the Sun and Moon would keep moving across the sky, as a backup, after that "vine" fiasco. Right 'Tia?"

Celestia smiled. "Yes, yes it is."

"We are experiencing technical difficulties. We wiiiiiii - "

"That can't be good." Luna said. "You don't think - WHAT?! THE PLANE'S GOING DOWN???!!!!!!!!!"

The 2 sisters gulped as the plane plunged downwards into the deep ocean underneath.

Suddenly, the side was ripped off and the top exploded in flames. A piece of shrapnel the size of a table nearly took Luna's head off, and another pencil-sized one painfully stabbed Luna's chest.

"Luna! Are you alright?" Celestia worriedly shouted.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Luna winced as she pulled out the shrapnel. "I sure do wish we had a healing spell." Luna put her hoof to her chest. Celestia then found a First Aid Kit and tied up the wound with bandages.

"You'll be fine, we'll get back home, I promise." Celestia said. "We should get out of here. I'm pretty sure those bandages are waterproof."

"You're right. We need to get out ASAP. This plane's gonna blow!" Luna said. She swam over to the emergency doors and got out. Celestia followed out, and a raft was floating right there.

"Convenient." Celestia said.

The 2 sisters hopped on, and found a paddle on the raft.

*KABOOM*

The sisters found themselves in the middle of nowhere.

"I think we're lost." Luna said. "You got anything on you?"

"Nothing." Celestia said. "I don't have pocket dimensions here you know, shesh."

"I guess we could use this piece of shrapnel as a knife." Luna said.

"Are you serious?" Celestia asked.

"Yes, yes I am." Luna said.

Luna then grabbed the paddle and went to the nearest island.

"Now what?" Luna asked.

"Well, since we're Alicorns we have better survivability than other ponies," Celestia said, "So we should be able to survive eating and drinking nothing for a few weeks."

"Well I'm going to get some food." Luna announced.

"How?" Celestia asked.

Luna looked up. "Um... Maybe I can fly up to the palm tree and get a coconut!"

"I told you, you can't fly here." Celestia said. "But now that I think of it, I never tried. I always assumed you just can't fly here."

Luna then beat her wings. It turned out their wings were too small for long-distance travel, but they could flap long enough to get to some trees.

"I... Got... Some... Coconuts..." Luna said. "Whoa, flying is so hard here!"

"Yeah, yeah." Celestia said. "Can't we eat the plants here?"

Luna facehoofed. She then took a bite out of a plant.

"Tastes like... a potato plant?" Luna said.

She then dug under and found a few potatoes.

"Well, let's make a fire!" Luna said.

She then gathered some rocks and sticks and made a fire spit.

"Okay then." Celestia said. "I guess I'll have to do it the old-fashioned way. I haven't done this in... 1389 years."

"Ah, I remember." Luna said. "You were at the beach and some earth ponies taught you how to make fire without magic. Ah, the good old days."

After they got the fire up, Luna took the potatoes and put them on a stick. "You know, I always kinda liked potato-on-a-stick."

Celestia looked up at the sky. "We should probably go to sleep."

"That reminds me, this moon looks like my moon." Luna observed.

Celestia smiled. "Yes sister. Yes it does."
